Chapter 21: Your Part 2

John is pleased with the report. The demon he summoned, Sula, is doing good work in making the family slowly turn against him. From the profiles he's read about them, they're the easiest to manipulate.

Rita and Lynn Sr, his dear old friends would fall for their daughters' wants and needs.

Lori Loud is a typical teenage girl that's in charge but is blinded by her teenage romance with Robert Santiago.

Leni Loud is not so bright, and her low intelligence makes her easy to fool.

Luna Loud is the aspiring musician who has a thing for Sarah but is too blinded by her own ambitions.

Luan Loud, the clown sister who despite making bad puns, she's a bit of a psycho on April Fools. She is quite too optimistic.

Lynn Loud is a poor sportsman girl who relies on strength and courage from her family, friends, and especially her fans to win her games. She's too easily fooled.

Lucy Loud, well the gothic personality and believer in the supernatural and curses would influence her.

Lola Loud, a spoiled pageant brat. John shivers at what she'll grow up with.

Lana Loud, the handyman twin and is probably the not-so-brightest. Given they're both 6 it doesn't surprise John that they'd fall for a pet full of diseases.

Lisa Loud, a genius like her wouldn't believe in anything but her own way of intelligence. But like many other smart prodigies, she's arrogant and would not take any chances.

Lily Loud, nothing to do much about her, is still 1-year-old and wouldn't understand the situation at all. Give her a few more years and she will hate her own family for what they did to her brother.

"Sula you have made good work," John comments at the shadowy figure before him.

"Again, why just kill him now before he even transforms?" Sula question

"The boy grew more experience than the wave, he can duplicate himself, and almost master created weapons. He can beat down each villain he encounters, I wanted his spirit crush and his will to fight" John answered

"Okay, so I'm done?" Sula asked

John only smiled. "No, there's only something that will break the kid's heart."

"Alright everyone, you ready?"

The loud family was all in the street, getting ready for Lincoln's great day; his elementary school graduation. Some still feel uneasy about this going to Lincoln events after the whole argument last night, until Sarah says what his special day is making them embarrassed.

"I still can't believe we going to graduate even though it's going to middle school after last night," Lynn muttered

"Look, we just going to the graduation ceremony and once it's over, we leave. Sarah will be helped bring Lincoln home" Luna replied

"The Atoms, I think Lincoln too attach to them," Lisa said slightly jealously, fixing up her techno orb. "Eruka, I finished my recording Holo Orb, helps record everything in sight in an hour."

"Why do you make that?" Luan asked

"So make sure to repeat my work and ideas," Lisa answered

Rita crossed her arms and seemed to be glaring. "Yeah, I think your right,"

Lynn Sr finally finishes up the Vanzilla, and he goes to the family. "Alright everyone, I did...now I just got oil the gear shifter."

Unaware that once he goes to them, Vanzilla begins to move, which results in the family to them their ride strolling away. Once Vanzilla got to the bottom, everyone sighed in relief until...

"LOOK OUT TRUCK!"

A big truck came by and the driver jumped out just in time for the truck to smash it into Vanzilla. The Vanzilla is due to begin old and the timer begins to break apart as hits the tree.

"MY VAN!" Lynn Sr cries out.

"What...just...happened?" Lori asked in shock.

"It seems Lincoln didn't help Lynn Sr a new gear shifter."

The family's eyes flash red for a second, as Lynn spoke angrily: "Stinkcoln, that little...destroy one thing that is part of us,"

"His mess with our family van, OUR VAN!" Lola shouts as the sisters start panicking.

"Now, now, calm down everyone," Rita told them as they calm from anger rising more than she ever could. Her eyes flash red for a second as she tells them, "I think it's safe to say that maybe we shouldn't come."

"Your mother's right, kids." Lynn Sr spoke in low anger, his eyes flashing red for a second, "It's just not worth going to the graduation with Lincoln who tries to find out almost killed us."

*HONK...HONK*

The family looks seeing is awestruck what the sight of them.

In the Royal Woods Elementary school, we see the families of 5th-grade graduation kids ready to see their kids go upstage. Meanwhile, at the back, we see the kids in their gowns and hats chatting to each other.

"Man, we finally finish elementary school," Clyde said

"Yeah man, finally a new start for us in school," Rusty replied

"No more yucky old cafeteria meal for this guy," Liam respond

Ronnie Anne rolls her eyes and sees Lincoln all alone, looking at his hat, she goes to him. "Lame-O, are you alright?"

"Yeah, it's just...I can't believe this is all going so fast. With everything happening since that Metax blast, almost like we've fast forward to this." Lincoln explained, "I wonder what else can change in middle school?"

"Hey, don't try to get into deep thought about it, Lame-O. Think of the cool stuff we'll do in middle school." Ronnie Anne said patting Lincoln's back.

"Yeah, I guess you're right on that one," Lincoln responds though he wonders if his family made it. 'They'll probably just be there once I've received my certificate and then they leave because of my so-called bad luck. I hope they changed their mind on that.'

"Alright, class!"

Everyone turned to see Mrs. Johnson wiping her tears with a tissue as she spoke. "We about to begin to get your certificate, I'm so proud of all of you made it so far. And...I'm so gonna miss you after this day last, I hope you all wish you good luck in middle school and have a bright future." then hearing graduation music starts. "It's time, all to A to Z in order."

Lincoln takes a deep breath and places his hat on his head. 'Well, here it goes.'

Everyone in the auditorium went to Lincoln's graduation. Gar wears a dark green shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes. He spotted Scan and Sarah as he sits beside Sarah.

"Did I miss something?" He asks her.

"No, you just made it," Sarah replied. "Even Lincoln's grandfather is hereby surprised, and Belle's here for her sister."

"Where's the rest of his family?" Garfield asked in confusion.

"I don't know, maybe they're running late. But I can't help but think..." Sarah said sadly.

"I hope for the boy's sake, his family makes the right choice in coming here." Scan said.

"I don't get though, isn't his younger sisters graduating as well?" Garfield questions.

"Most kids in K-4th grades usually graduate in classrooms. The ones that graduate on specialty are 5th graders. Kinda like senior graduation." Sarah explained to him.

"Thanks for telling me that," Garfield said as heard another voice.

"Scan 'Gear' Atoms, is that you?"

They turn to see what happens to be Pop-Pop who got covered in a bandage on his head, holding crutches as one of his legs in a cast.

Scan smiled. "Well that Albert 'Pop-Pop' Loud."

Both old-timers laughed as play hit each other arms Gar and Sarah were confused look.

"You two know each other?" Gar asked

"We been friends since the gear face helps us in the Navy, we keep in touch in years now Lincoln talked about his grandfather all the time. So once Lincoln introduces him on video chat, we have been hanging out ever since."

"Well good for you two," Sarah said hearing the music. "It's about to start."

John seems watching this and to make a smirk. "Now make your appearance."

"Yes, sir remember my deal?"

"Yes, you get your have fun in Royal Woods while Lincoln is heartbroken...now go!" John ordered

"Now for another child who good scholar today...Lincoln Loud."

Lincoln went up to go receive his graduation certificate. He saw many people clapping their hands as he looks around for his family. He spotted Pop-Pop there making him smile, as well as Gar with the Atoms. As he gets his certificate, he looks for his family, but they're not at the seats reserved for them.

'They didn't show up.' he thought, feeling heartbroken as he looks down, walking out off the stage.

After soon every kid got their graduation certificate, and every kid threw their hats up but not Lincoln who seem in deep sadness. Every kid goes to their folks while Gar, the Atoms, and Pop-Pop go to him.

"Link..." Sarah said see Lincoln getting torn. "Oh, Lincoln..."

"They didn't show...why?" Lincoln asked as he hugged Sarah who hugged back. "Why?"

"It doesn't make any sense, why didn't they come?" Pop-Pop questions.

"Do you have a cellphone to call them?" Gar asks him.

"I have a flip phone, but the darn thing never works." Pop-Pop said as he spots the Santiagos, "Maybe Lori's boyfriend may know."

They come to the Santiagos as Gar taps Bobby's shoulder and turns to him, "Hey, we're family friends with the Louds, do you know a way to contact them?"

"I just text Lori about it then," Bobby said as he text her, a few minutes she's text back. "Hmm, strange?"

"What?" Gar asked

"You guys might wanna read this," Bobby answered giving Gar his phone as Gar shows to the others.

'Sorry Boo Boo Bear, but our van suddenly got extremely heavy damage by truck. So we going to have fun on the all-free luxurious tripped.'

"What? How could leave him like this? That doesn't seem right, not to mention the autocorrect on the last part." Gar states.

"Maybe we should get to the bottom of this," Sarah said as suddenly they hear an explosion, "What was that?!"

They all out to see what caused the explosion. They saw the town being attacked by a laughing figure.

"Run in fear, humans!" spoke a blue-skinned demoness with wild spiky black hair, yellow and crimson eyes, fangs, and wears a red strapless dress with two splits and wears black strap heels, blue bat wings, and a pointy tail.

Everyone starts running away from her screaming, Pop-Pop looks afraid while others look serious. Well, not Lincoln who seems to sadden by this solution.

"Lincoln, it's time to fight." Scan said to shake the boy. "Lincoln!"

Lincoln realized that and spoke. "Oh right, huh I go do it."

"Time to huddle!" Gar shout

Once a demon blasts a place makes things smoke around as Gar, Sarah, and Scan huddle up Lincoln as he transforms into Linkage. As Linkage flew up in front of the demon.

"Who are you?!" Linkage question

"I am Sula, the demon of misery and despair!" Sula declares as she extends her claws, "I crave all things misery, like the cries and panic of civilians, and destruction of the personal lives of families!"

"Well, I've faced a demon before, so you won't be so different!" Linkage states as he charges at the demoness, as Sula dodges him from attacking at an instant.

"You're too confident," Sula states as she shoots a fireball at Linkage.

"AHHH!" Linkage scream as he sends flying to another room.

"Hey, where's kiddo?" Pop-Pop asked to look around.

"Let's go find him outside." Scan said as they runs out.

"AHHH!" Linkage scream as he sends flying to another area.

"Hey, where's kiddo?" Pop-Pop asked to look around.

"Let's go find him outside." Scan said as they runs away.

Linkage seems to be burned up by the flames, but he sees a water fountain. He dropped into the water as came out of the water. "Man, that was close."

"I'm not done with you!" Sula said as she appears instantly, grabbing Linkage's collar and throwing him out towards a building, making him crash through while she chases him at instant speed.

Linkage manages to stop himself and decides to create duplicates of himself to outnumber Sula. Sula appears and this time, she creates duplicates of herself out of brimstone.

"Now it's ten against ten." Sula declares.

It begins to battle out multiple versions of Linkages and Sulas. All of them use all of their powers to beat each other and take one down. Unfortunately, Sula is a tricky one as destroying each one of the time, until one Linkage back to the wall as faces three Sula.

"Any last words?" Sula asked

"Screw you-Argh!" Linkage said getting slashed through the chest.

"We finally defeated-" Sula states until she sees Linkage disappear. "It's a clone, where is the real-"

*SPLASH*

Sula and her two clones got splashed by Linkage who dashed toward them with a bucket of water. "That was the plan of duplicate myself in fountain water while I get the water."

"Hehehe," Sula chuckled as she turns to Linkage "It's holy water that weakens demons, you brat!"

"Oh." Linkage said as Sula kicks him in the stomach, sending him flying out to the sky Sula instantly appears and decks him on the back, causing him to fall down on the ground, creating a crater.

"Are you supposed to be some kind of god? You're nothing but weak-minded!" Sula shouts as she sees Linkage getting up, she continued "Let's meet sometime again, boy." Sula said as she starts to disappear 'Because I got a family to ruin for you.'

Linkage flew out of the crater, but Sula is gone. "Dang it," he said as he decides to fly back to his school to make sure Pop-Pop thinks he was alright.

"Kiddo?" Pop-Pop called out

"He's supposed to be somewhere." The scan said worried about him

"I'm sure he waited near our RV," Sarah replied

They see Lincoln in RV as he sitting on the ground looking at the ground. They know his sadness and pain about a few hours ago.

"Lincoln are you-" Gar asked interrupted by Lincoln.

"Can we just go see my family, I need to see them," Lincoln said quickly

"Of course, we take the RV," Sarah replied

Dark clouds forming in the sky, Sarah, Scan, and Gar are with Lincoln at the RV to take him home. Pop-Pop has to go back to the retirement home so he won't get in trouble past curfew. They stopped by the Louds' place as they drop him off.

"You sure you don't want us to go with you?" Sarah asks him.

"No, you guys go ahead. I want some answers from them." Lincoln replied turning to the house.

"Well we can wait-"

"No, I don't need someone to hold my hand for this. I just gonna go in there and convince them that this whole bad luck schtick has gone too far! I have a lot to say to them to make them realize that they're being complete idiots over a superstition!" Lincoln rants as he turns around to step toward his house. "You guys go ahead home, I'll deal with this myself!"

They watch as they couldn't help but feel bad for Lincoln. Gar told them "Park down there, I have a bad feeling about this."

The dark clouds, it's begun to lay down rain, but Lincoln doesn't care about the weather, all focused is the family that they miss his big day. He walks up to the porch and tried to open it, But it's locked. "What the-? They changed the lock?" he then starts knocking on the door "Guys! Open the door, why did you miss my graduation!?"

Lincoln realized this room is locked, which makes the boy confused, he uses the key under the fake rock, he opened the door, and sees pitch black...no one was there, not even the pets. "They...gone."

Lincoln backed away little worried until felt something on the ground, a metal orb, Lincoln sees it shows the signature L.L. "One of Lisa's devices?"

The orb opened a blue hologram of his family, with their luggage, going to a...limousine.

"Going to be a blast! A week in the luxury hotel!" Lynn shouts excitedly

"With own rooms!" Lori shouts as she places her bags inside.

"Whoever wins this is sure of thanks," Luna said

"Are we sure gonna wait for Lincoln?" Rita asked looking over her watch.

"I am sorry ma'am, we can't stay any longer...the timing is so important, once under ten minutes...it's be cut loose." spoke the driver.

"Mom...there's a spa, no charge...and wait for that jerky pants Lincoln!" Lola said with a glare.

"No offense mom, he's avoiding us all the time...I want to go out in the indoor pool, besides...he with Atoms like always, bet having fun without us!" Luan said

Every sister starts complaining about Lincoln, which causes the boy falls on his knees, held his head, tried to annoy them, and tighten his eyes, leaking out tears. "Stop...just stop..."

"Okay..."

Lincoln looks up and sees his own mother, Rita, who looks down with a frown. "Let's go, tell Lincoln we going and either go to Mcbride or Atoms until next week,"

"Way ahead of you." Lynn Sr said look at the daughter. "Go inside girls."

The girls, cheer in excitement, going toward the limo, going inside one by one until the parents are only left inside. The parents only frown on their faces not because of their sadness of his missing, is because disappointed in what he doing lately, the acting, and the late time of this.

"Sometimes...wished being more responsible, be there for us, guess need more discipline when getting home as John says," Rita said

"I hope to get more focusing on what he does in life, that boy has always avoided us...I make sure he pushes more working labor...but deep down in my head," Lynn Sr replied looking down.

"Wish he be just like his sisters..."

Both parents go inside the limo, and as it drives off as the recording turns off, Lincoln...was there, frozen in place, eyes wide, not moving an inch. He breathed heavily, he held his head, tightened his eyes, and shook his head. He was now surrounded by red energy sparks of lightning.

"No...No...No..." Lincoln said holding up his head in the sky roaring to the cloudy place.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Lincoln flies in the sky without transforming, going through the dark clouds, and hitting causes the whole storm to disappear.

Lincoln, surrounded by red energy, went into deep space, his shirt is burning until it ripped off him. View of the planet Earth and a burnt-off orange collar shirt, with a few drops of tears.
