Chapter 22: Limit Part 3
All three inside the RV, walking out of the tech vehicle, seeing the small crate on the sidewalk, having red sparks of lightning. Sarah sees a light blue dot on the porch steps, walked to it, and grabbed the orb.
"My god...I can't believe they do this to him," Sarah said having a hand on her mouth.
"Great Scott, what kind of family are they?" Scan asked
Gar look at the crater, he looks in the sky. "I gotta find him..."
"Do it, but first...maybe, you should grab the Dragon Ball from his room..." Sarah said looking down, placing her hand on her chest. "If we can't find him, then we should wish him back home."
Gar nodded, he goes inside for, a few minutes, and came out holding the blue five-star orb. "I promise to look for him." He took off in the sky.
In deep space, a place far to see Earth even the watchtower, a large asteroid, red energy, in it is Lincoln, who seems to be energy around him, who he's laying on the ground, relaxing on the stone wall. His face only had dull eyes of unhappiness, his mind kept repeating events in his mind, making him leak out tears without any movements at all.
"Why...why..." Lincoln repeated the question look.
"Lincoln!"
Sarah, Gar, and Scan all look around for Lincoln. Along with them are Lincoln's friends who all joined in to look for him along with the McBrides, the Santiagos, and Belle. Scan and Sarah go through the streets with their RV, everyone looking for their friend who is there for them from the start.
"Like he's disappeared from the town...not in favorite places." Scan said
Gar flying through the sky, searching for the Dragon Balls, having a bag on his back, brings his phone. "Calling McBrides, any sight of him?"
"No not in Arcade, always came here to chill out," Clyde answered
"Santiago?"
"Not in the gas station, surprise it didn't shut down sooner." Ronnie Anne answered
"Report back when you find him," Gar tells them as he continues to call out Lincoln's name.
"Belle said that the police have managed to file a report on a lost child." Sarah states after receiving a text from her friend.
"Lincoln could've been this far." Scan states.
"Maybe should call the Titans or the JLA for-" Gar looking down realizing back in their country, spots the certain place. "Guys, I think found them...the certain ones who drove the boy away."
"How do you know the place?" Sarah asked
Gar blushes at an image of Leni showing him her pic of the bikini in the pool. "Leni send me something."
"Really...gonna talked to them?" Sarah asked
Gar lower down. "Oh yes, a big talked."
The Loud Family had a great time in the Hotel that got a prize from an unknown to them, but whoever did it really thankful. Outside of the backyard is a pool, and the sisters enjoying the time of their lives, older ones such as Lori and Leni sunbathing.
"Hmm...service is great," Lori said drinking her iced tea.
Leni wears her sunglasses. "Totes."
Both of them felt shadowing over them, Leni tits her sunglasses to see only Gar landed in front of them with his arms crossed.
Leni smiled. "Gar, you here..." He glared straight at them. "I-It something wrong-"
"Where're your parents?" Gar asked with a serious look.
"Oh...I enjoy this, right honey?" Lynn Sr asked as he and Rita got their foot massage.
"Hmm-hmm...wonders how is Lincoln doing?" Rita asked
"Probably somewhere on his own." Lynn Sr answered to see his daughters walking in. "Girls?"
"You don't say?" Gar stated with a glare. "Sits down...mind steps away from here you two?"
The works bows as walking away, Gar looks around. "Wow, THIS is a nice place,"
Lana nodded. "Yeah, it sure is..."
Gar glared at them. "Enough leave a family member behind."
The Loud Family, startled voice sees Gar the anger in his eyes, but deep down, the teen wolf gets self-control hurting the one who says one sentence that makes Lincoln fly to the sky without looking back.
"Hey, we are in a hurry...we tried to wait but-" Lynn Sr reasoned but that makes a big mistake.
Gar decks Lynn Sr by the nose causing him to fall to the floor. The family look shocked by what they saw and what Garfield did.
"How could you...leave your own son out for something STUPID!?" Gar shouts in anger.
"W-Whoa, d-did he just punches daddy in the face," Lola said in fear.
Lynn Sr gets angry as he gets up, holding his nose. "Look, I doing for the best for my family-"
Gar grabbed him and lifted up in the air many others were shocked by his strength. "Family? FAMILY?! Are you telling me that Lincoln didn't belong to your family?! That's why you all leave him?!"
"We-We didn't leave him!" Rita said getting scared.
Gar gets angry. "Then why do you leave him huh?! This got to you all bad moment right now on the boy...and you don't care about Lincoln's feelings!"
"We do care...Gar...let go of my dad...please." Leni begged sadness about what is happening.
Gar looks at Leni, who has begged look on her face, and simply drops Lynn Sr on the floor, while Lynn Sr just scooting away from him makes Gar glare. "Your coward, you suppose to be Lincoln's look-up surrounded by a bunch of girls, but no...you spoil them, tried to turn your son into a worker, and punished him with no reason." He looks at the family, to Rita. "How can you and your husband blindly follow along with this? You two are supposed to be parents, you're supposed to clear things up for your kids, and now Lincoln is out there possibly endangered with all the Metax and crazy supervillains this town has. Well, all of you lost the last love of your brother...I hope you are happy."
Gar walked outside, making the Loud Family shun their heads what he say, Leni...runs to him, and Gar was about to fly off but Leni grabbed his arm.
"Gar, please...I'm sorry, I didn't mean this to happen! Don't mad me...don't hate me." Leni begged to tighten her grip on the arm.
Gar, just stands there, he simply places his hand to let Leni go of him, Gar looks at Leni with a sad look. "Leni...I do not hate you, I am just disappointed, I thought you were different Leni, you suppose to protect your own brother. But now I know you just gonna follow them like nothing gonna happen, maybe is best...not to see each other right now. Be sure to go home safe and sound."
Gar kisses Leni's forehead and took off flying, while Leni looks sadden and heartbroken when he says that. She had nothing but to blame herself for this if she didn't follow along with her family, she falls to her knees and begin to cry in her face. Unaware of her, even Gar begins to tears in his eyes causing her heart to break.
Lori comforts her sister and glares at the green dot in the sky. 'That punk, he makes Leni tear up!"
Sarah seems back in the lab with Scan, going to the computer to search for their friend until something got to them...
*BOOM*
They turn to see a pack of C-villains that looks familiar.
"What...how you got here?!" Scan question glared. "I thought you were in prison."
"A prison won't hold the Gopher, now I gonna get you..." Gopher shouts as he ordered his robot army.
"No!" Scan shouts hit the robot but two more grabbed him. "dang...it..."
"Daddy!" Sarah shouts seeing the villains closing in, she closes her eyes. 'Lincoln, if you hear me...please come back...Royal Woods...we need you...please...come home.'
Sarah got grabbed by the back, she got so scared, her eyes begin to glow blue, held up in a let-out scream.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Back in the asteroid, Lincoln got his head down, that scream, the familiar voice he knows, made his head go up showing his deep glare as his eyes glowed in emerald light.
In a strange building, someone talking to John on a tech computer.
"Alright, we did what we asked..." spoke one in the shadowing figure.
"Just wait for the boy...he's come..." John said
The figure glare looks at him. "How, he's gone into space..."
"He always comes back...patience," John said as the screen shut down.
The figure who walked out is Sula who glared. "You better."
Vanzilla travels back to Royal Woods, much to some of the sisters' sadness about what they did to Lincoln such as Leni who didn't talk all the home much in tears, and others' dismay at leaving so soon as Lola. "Mooooom...This sucks, I wanna have a full message!"
"I'm sorry but right now, Lincoln home all of full angry at us right now, we going home!" Rita shouts as Lynn Sr looks ahead.
"Huh, honey?" Lynn Sr asked to stop the van.
All of them see a police car in front of their house, Vanzilla parked in the garage, the parents came out first, and two officers got out as Rita knows one of them.
" Officer Schoffner...what brings you-" Rita said interrupted by Schoffner placing cuffs on her wrists. "HEY!"
"Lynn Loud Senior and Rita Loud, you are hereby under arrest." Schoffner said with seriousness.
"WHAT?!" The Louds shout in fully shocked at what's happening, Lynn Sr getting handcuffed as well. "WHAT FOR?!"
"All in the news, check your phones." Schoffner answered placing them in the house.
Rita looked through the police car's window and sees her daughters coming out worried. "It's going to be okay girls...just stay in the house."
The police car drove off while the Loud sisters stays there...paralyzed from seeing their parents get arrested, Lori checks what is the news until her face is horrified by a certain video.
"W-What is it Lori?" Lana asked
"We made a terrible mistake," Lori answered looking at them. "We gotta find Lincoln,"
"We should've done that earlier," Leni said as she appears in front of them. Her eyes were dry and red from all the crying.
"Leni," Lori spoke in concern "Are you-"
"Let's go find Lincoln," Leni told them passing through. She had to walk away, while her parents watch her and their daughters following her to look for Lincoln. The two are now in the back of the police car.
"What are we going to do, hon?" Lynn Sr asked his wife.
Rita sighed as she looks just as guilty "I don't know, dear. I just don't know."
At the chemical plant, the C-villains simply hang out inside while far from them and there are five lines of the tube of Dark Metax Energy as in the end there's Scan and Sarah, both tied up in chains hanging above a tub of chemicals from a roller. Sula is seen with the lever.
"Let us go! When Linkage gets here, you'll be sorry!" Sarah told her.
"Oh, he will, if he feels like a hero again," Sula said as she pulls the lever down, causing the Atoms to fall down screaming, but she pulls it back up to have them slowly rise back up.
"Stop this! We could've been killed! Scan told her.
"Not my problem, I've already destroyed one family, I can destroy another." Sula states which confuse them.
"What do you mean by that?" Sarah demands.
"Oh it's simple, I've made some big family reject some white-haired boy by influencing their decisions. All I did was whisper some ideas and they go along with it." Sula answered.
"You control them?!" Sarah question angrily
"I just give them ideas, not control them. They can break free from my control, but instead, they go along with it. They cause the m their problems Atoms, not me."
"Why you doing this to the Louds, why they-" Scan question
"It's only one man that knows Linkage's true identity and wanted him down," Sula said with a smile
Scan and Sarah only glare at one man behind all this as both said it. "John!"
"Ding ding ding!" Sula fake ring, "John wants to make sure the little snowball gets a really troubling broken feeling for his family. All it takes for their own selfishness to shatter that family. Oh, he also told me to keep you, Sarah, alive while I leave you, Scan, for dead."
"Of course, he wants me dead and I can see in your eyes that you gonna screw him." Scan said in deadpan.
"Yeah, upset with your daughter getting creepy. So I'm gonna end both of you so he will move on." Sula replied as she gonna held up her sharp nails to Sarah's neck.
"No, not my daughter!" Scan shouts struggling with his chain.
Sarah got scared until she sees a glowing red dot from the sky making her smile. "I wouldn't count on it..."
"Wha..." Sula question
*BOOM*
Everyone saw a large smoke coming near them landing somewhere, they saw green glowing eyes shape in the smoke until Linkage comes out with a serious look.
"There's our boy." Scan said with a smile.
Sula glared deep until gets a smirk, she goes to the chain and both Atoms get scared until they get confused about the cut to holding them.
"What are you doing?!" Sarah question sees them traveling somewhere.
"I wanna see his reaction," Sula answered looking at them evilly.
Meanwhile, the Loud sisters look around town to search for Lincoln. They receive some stares from the townspeople, most glares.
"Why are they looking at us like that?" Lana asked.
"I don't like their stares, and that's no joke." Luan states.
"You!"
The girls stopped their tracks. They turn to see Clyde, Ronnie Anne, Bobby, and most of Lincoln's friends as well as the girls' other friends like Maggie, Haiku, Carol, Cupid, and the rest. All frowning at the sisters.
"Hi, guys... " Lori said in full fear.
"Why...you all...abandon...Lincoln?" Clyde question did not care about Lori here.
"Well because...he's...kinda perfect say..." Luan said
"Bad luck...we all know..." Ronnie Anne said in full anger now. "YOU GIRLS ABANDON YOUR ONLY BROTHER BECAUSE ONE OF YOU ACTING LIKE A SORE LOSER!"
'Now please just listen-" Lynn said
"Listen what? Then you drag your brother to game suddenly his fault...he told about it to give things off his chest." Clyde said as shake his head. "I thought you girls are cool but now...you guys are nuts!"
Lori goes to Bobby. "Boo-Boo Bear please-"
"Don't call me that anymore Lori! I would never kick out my little sister whenever she would cause mistakes! And now because of you girls, Lincoln is gone missing somewhere! What were y'all thinking?! He could've been kidnapped or killed by some stranger or something!" Bobby shout Angrily
"He's right!" Clyde agreed.
"Without a doubt!" Rusty said.
"Can't disagree there!" Laime scowled.
"Have to call it!" Whitney said sternly
"Things aren't broken!" Tabby added.
"There's nothing funny about this!" Giggles shook her head.
"Not very cool!" Margo frowned.
"This is grim." Haiku scowled.
"This is hurtful!" Maggie said sternly.
"I think so too!" Queans agreed.
Every friend of Lincoln's she there's starting shouting at them about how treating their friend Lincoln. All this made Lola and Lana grabbed each other in comfort, Lucy tried to hide but all this makes her tears, Lynn who just shunned herself as tightening her fists even dropped some tears down, Luan was gonna make a joke but that only more problem as all the hate makes her grabbed her shoulders and cried down. Lisa is a genius but this level of shouting at her making her feel like a child. Lily don't know what was going on but she cried due to shouting. Luna felt pain, she was Lincoln's Guardian but failed after hearing her friends shouting at her. Leni knows she deserves it, but she just wanna be alone. Lori tried to protect her sisters but until Bobby glared then Ronnie Anne pull his hand.
"Come on you guys, let's keep searching for Lincoln." Ronnie Anne said
"Yeah, let's just leave them," Bobby states as they all turn their backs on them.
Lori looks at her sisters, she looks down. "Girls...let's head home,"
Leni looks at her oldest sibling. "Lori...we can't..."
Lori looks at Leni with a sad look. "Leni...as much I wanna find Lincoln, we can't keep searching while people hating on us...people will start to do something drastic. Besides everyone is looking for him, they will call us when finding them. Let's go."
Each one begins to walk back to the Loud House until the last one is Leni who held her heart. 'Linky...where are you?'
Linkage takes down each villain he goes up against; a dog-man villain tried to bite him but Linkage uppercut him, a big teeth villain tried to stab the hero but only gets his tooth broken in half, one by one each taken down easily until the Juicer holding up a large ice cream like cannon.
"Stop Linkage, I, the Juicer, will destroy you by turning you into a living-" the Juicer said interrupted by Linkage grabbing the cannon and simply turning into ashes, as the hero glares at him. "We just gonna wait for the police."
All the C-list villains go to the entrance, waiting for the cops, and Linkage charged into the chemical plant causing a large shockwave thus breaking Dark Metax Energy tubes.
"Oh boy, John gonna kill me I destroy his supplies."
Linkage looks in front seeing Sula, licking her nails, he glared at her. "You! Where's Sarah and Scan?!"
Sula smirks and points down. "Look down."
Linkage sees and is horrified at what he standing, blood, is all over the floor is blood and Sula's hands even his mouth is covered by the blood. "W-What...What did you do?"
Sula rubs her stomach slowly. "They were...tasty..."
Linkage's eyes stare into the deep void, he...failed, he lost the two people who help him going through his journey of being a hero. He leaking out tears, he's body is shaking, tightening his fists. "No...not...not them..."
Sula smirks. 'I broke him...' She extended her nails and held up her hand. "Don't worry, I make sure you meet them, hope to enjoy the afterlife...I show you no mercy." She laughed.
Sula sends down her hand but only stops by Linkage grabbed her hand, and her nails break when he made contact. She sees Linkage growling as the Dark Metax Energy goes towards the boy, going inside him.
"He absorbing the energy?!" Sula questioned in shocked
Linkage now...having pure black aura energy, black spiky sharp hair, his pupils are gone, his mouth gotten two sharp fangs.
Linkage roars as releases black flames. "AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!"
"WHAT IN THE-" Sula questioned interrupted Linkage grabbed Sula by the face.
Linkage flying, breaking through the ceiling in the sky, going so fast that he leaving a black blur beam behind, begins to punch Sula's stomach. Sula created a blast to send Linkage away, Sula looks at her stomach and sees small black flames on her clothes.
'His flames are hurting me?!' Sula questioned in shock.
Sula hears a roar and sees Linkage coming toward her, quickly she created sharp beams at Linkage who created dark flame claws. Linkage slashes each beam until reach Sula, clawing her shoulder and stomach.
"AHHHHH!" Sula screams in pain.
Linkage knee down on Sula, force her to go down to the ground leaving a hole.
Sarah and Scan seem to be in a closet still in chains, rumbling thus dust coming from the ceiling. "Dad, what are we gonna do?!"
"I keep this hiding to make this escape." Scan said as grabbed his pen from his shirt pocket, he press a small laser to cut the chain.
"Laser pen, you watch too many old movies, dad." Sarah joked and helped her father up.
"Come on let's get out of here." Scan states
Linkage and Sula dash left and right, and exchange fists and kicks, but Sula has trouble with the black flames hitting her. Sula does an energy slash to the boy's neck, Linkage created a flame shield on his left arm to block it, grabbed her arm, and bends it. The demon screams, Linkage lifted his right hand and created a full black pure flamen beam, he stops and sees Sula whose clothes are burnt showing her cleavage body and burnt marks. Sula fell to the sky and landed on the ground, she sees Linkage fly down with a glare.
"W-Wait..." Sula said Linkage lifted his hand, creating black flames. "P-Please."
Linkage felt his wrist grabbed, he look up and see Gar with a serious look, shaking his head.
"Lincoln..."
Linkage looks at Sarah and Scan, she goes to him with a worried look, and he slowly goes toward them with his hands in flames.
"Sula puts ideas in your family's head all the time, I'm sorry but...they listen to her," Sarah said seeing Linkage going towards her, seeing small tears. "Oh, Lincoln..." Sarah goes to her knees and hugs Linkage who is surprised. "You must be in so much pain, you holding back your feelings...you need to run away...we always are there for you Lincoln, we love you..." Sarah tears up with a smile. "We love you..."
Linkage...lids coming back while his eyes begin getting hot water, he then felt Scan hugging him also, his hair turning back to white and begin sobbing down...letting his emotions finally letting out after a whole month of stress.
Gar sighed as his friend is saved, and looks at injured Sula. 'Gotta called Raven,'
Rita seems to sit in her cell with her husband Lynn Sr who hugging each other due to being feared by some crooks who glaring at them for knowing what happened.
"Sweetie looks like we are in here for a long time." Lynn Sr state
"I know Lynn, we just act so stupid and so wrong," Rita replied
"You better believe it Louds..."
Both of them look to see Officer Schoffner who glared at them as she open up the bars as she spoke. "I hate to say it but you two free to go."
Both loud parents are confused. "What? Why?"
"Someone pay you two to come free." Officer Schoffner answered
The two parents were confused as they saw someone to their surprise. It was John who steps in to sign the paperwork.
"I don't get why you bothered to free them." spoke officer Jones towards the rich man. "Then again, you rich folks are always the same with criminals."
"The Louds are old friends of mine, I couldn't handle the guilt," John said with a fake concern tone.
"Whatever, they the idiots who-" Officer Jones said
"I know they did but still don't want their precious little daughters to grow up without their parents," John said as turn to Rita and Lynn Sr. "Now come on you two."
Rita and Lynn Sr came out of the prison cells as John leads them to his car.
"John, thank you for bringing us out of prison," Lynn Sr said while scratching his head.
"No problem Lynn Sr, here...make use of this for the rest of your lives. Keep them a secret including your son and daughter," John Sr said
Rita and Lynn Sr see John giving them both shiny cards, both grabbed them and look at him who goes to his limo, and both go inside and drove off.
Loud House, the sisters were so quiet not even a voice due to their parents arrested, now Pariah in Royal Woods, and Lincoln is lost.
"So...what now..." Luna said looking at her sisters.
"I don't know..." Lori said sees a limo. "Huh..." Sees her parents out of the vehicle. "Guys, mom and dad are home!"
The others were shocked. "WHAT?!"
The Loud Parents are shocked by what they heard. "You give us these?!"
"Just enough for food, water, power, girls' education, especially getting a new vehicle...use those wisely," John said as he before closes the door. "Cause it to be a rough life on your family."
John closes the door, and the limo drove off, leaving Rita and Lynn Sr looking at their cards. Until they were hugged by the daughters.
"Mom, dad, how?!" Luan asked
"John bailed us out, and give us something to help us." Lynn Sr answered heard the phone ring, he called it. "Hello?"
"It's Clyde, I just wanna say Lincoln is founded."
"Really, Lincoln is safe?!" Lynn Sr asked making everyone smile.
"Yeah, lived with the Atoms, he doesn't wanna see you guys...bye," Clyde said as he hang up.
John drinks his wine, as the driver spoke. "Why sir?"
"I don't want that little genius hack who stole her tech and put in the online, I just make sure no one caught me...those cards are the rest of my foolish grandfather's money, they can have it, I stick to mine," John answered, look at his wine. "Now...he has no family."
In the Atoms Estate, Lincoln, Gar, Sarah, and Scan now face Sula who is wrapped in black straps and a circle.
Lincoln who wears a white shirt, goes to look at her closer. "Look, I'm sorry I did this to you! But left me no choice, you tried to kill Scan and Sarah...the people who helped me...loved who I am...not because I have these powers...I wanted to know my answer..it's true, you just give them the idea...not control them?"
Sula only chuckled as she tells him "Only influenced and put that idea into their minds. They could've rejected the idea, my control is easy and can be broken. All I do is influence ideas if they're not stubborn enough to follow them. But they've made their bed on that."
"So they...had a choice to leave me?" Linkage asked.
"Of course, if they knew to leave a child under 18 is a standard law they wouldn't have gone through with it. But they did it anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know, given how stubborn and dumb that family is."
Linkage shunned his head, as he look up to see her face., "Thank you for telling me that, you better go back to your own place before the symbol burns you up."
Sula surprise. "You not gonna kill me?"
Linkage begins to walk away as he looks at her. "What's the point of killing you, I'm not the type of kid who just ends your life just because you give my family ideas. I hope I don't fight you all the time."
Sula looks shocked that he's sparing her, as she tells him something before being sent to her world. "Next time you spare an enemy, you'll regret it for the rest of your life, kid! Someday you will make a nuclear option!" she told him as she disappears.
Linkage didn't say anything as he continues to walk forward, getting alone time.
"Lincoln..." Sarah said but Scan stops her.
"Let him be... he needs it," Scan respond
Garfield looks at his black box as he walks toward Lincoln who sits on a wooden log. He saw the sad look in the boy's eyes as Gar spoke "How are you holding up, sheriff?"
Lincoln didn't say much, he only said "Not much."
Gar rubs the back of his neck as he tells him "Linc, I'm sorry for what happened. Don't let that Sula or John get to you. I know things are hard now, but the best you can do is keep going forward." he places the box next to him as he tells him "A graduation gift. Hope you like it."
Garfield walked off as Lincoln at him, until he look at the black box. The boy opens it and sees the inside, making his eyes go wide. 'Wow.'
Lincoln takes a deep He pulls out of the black box; a light blue hoodie with black trim and a black line on the zipper. He put it on and feel the smoothness and warmth of the hoodie even though it was like a second skin.
Lincoln sees the mirror and is surprised that his hair changes as well, not messy or dirty. Just sharper and spiky on his cone hair and his turkey turf.
Lincoln look out of the sky and spoke. "Guess it's a new start for me."
