Chapter 30: The Finale Part 3
Last time on Linkage, everything was a smooth day in the family fun fair until Sarah and Lincoln realized the one they hang out with is a robot who is about to self-destruct. Lincoln transforms into Linkage and sends it away but shocked it a distraction by John. Later Linkage goes to rescue the Atoms but he was getting beaten up by the Deadly Seven, the moment backup arrives...Metaxist planned to suck up all Metax people's energy but the hero blasted the core... Linkage tries to save both Sarah and Scan but Scan sacrifices himself to save Sarah and Linkage lived by sucking in the portal. but Metaxist has enough power of Metax to be driven by madness...in rage, Linkage made new power in everyone to see...Can Linkage stop Metaxist or will Royal Woods be nothing chaos..tune in now on Linkage.
Metaxist coughing out his breath sees Linkage glaring at him. "Well, you have new power in you all along."
"You just keep killing people one after another...even Scan." Linkage said his eyes begin getting tears. "And now...I'M TRULY ANGRY..." Linkage releases powerful energy out of him. "JOOOOOHHHHHNNNN!
Metaxist has summoned static as he shoots at Linkage, who dodges them from each strike. Linkage threw red plasma disks at him as Metaxist dodges them as well.
"You can't beat me, boy. You are only a child!" Metaxist declares as he shoots black beams at him. Linkage was instantly behind him as he punch Metaxist's spine. "AAAAHHH!"
Linkage has a sharp serious look. "Don't underestimate me."
Metaxist sent to a broken, he slowly stands up as he sees Linkage coming to him. "Well how about this!"
Metaxist duplicates ten of darkness of himself as surrounded Linkage. As each of them made black balls of their very own, but the only stop it is Linkage simply make shouted and cause a huge red energy wave, knocking out each clone make them disappear, even the real one falling.
Linkage has a sharp serious look. "Don't underestimate me."
Metaxist is sent to a broken building, he slowly stands up as he sees Linkage coming to him. "Well how about this!"
Metaxist duplicates ten of darkness of himself as surrounded Linkage. As each made black balls and shoot them at him, Linkage only uses his scream which is full of red energy waves to send them away and even destroy them.
Linkage press his hands together, as he creates a big gray sword. Metaxists create his own black blade from the darkness as he charges towards Linkage. The two's swords clashes against each other, as Metaxist swings it around while Linkage blocks each strike in defense. Once the two swings their blades, lightning is red and black sparks.
"You little boy, you can't stop getting in my way!" Metaxist shout as he clashes his sword of Linkage.
"All these years, you holding a grudge against a man who wanted to apologize to you and you trying to get take away his daughter." Linkage said seriousness.
"It is his fault!" Metaxist shouts as he swings as Linkage dodges.
"Scan is aware of his faults, you should've offered his apologies but instead you've decided to become so petty!" Linkage shouts as he launches his blade at Metaxist's left shoulder.
"AHHH! You little..." Metaxist shouts then get an idea, an idea making of a sinister smile. "Hehehehehe...hahahaha!"
"What's so funny?" Linkage question
"I make sure you...be broken forever." Metaxist answered devilish smile on his smile.
Linkage is confused until a horror look on his face sees Metaxist fly away, and he follows him. "Wait!"
Gar has taken Sarah to safety with a change of clothing. Now wearing a white gown they both watch Linkage confronting Metaxist.
"I never knew Lincoln was this...hardcore." Gar states.
"I'm worried...Lincoln isn't always like this." Sarah responds with worry.
"Always thought the kid who just is a normal superhero...but now he's way more powerful than I thought," Gar replied realizing how strong he is.
"I know Lincoln always fight to bring his enemies down, but now he actually wanted to kill Metaxist...I know really hated that bastard took my father away but not worthy to die in child's hands." Sarah states see Gar gets knocked away even Lioness. "Gar-ARGH!"
Linkage made only to see Sarah getting grabbed in the air by her hair from Metaxist who created a black blade. "Let her go!"
"You don't give me orders, now I'll end the connection you have left," Metaxist said going to the neck. "I just make rewrite her brain."
Linkage grew more hatred, then his eyes... began to change, pure black and crimson lids, and...tears.
*...Crying...Crying...*
We see Lincoln cry in the same dark place, on his knees as his face is down while tears drop on the ground. John is about to end Sarah's life right in front of him, and nothing can do, started to blame himself for everything Scan's death, and his family is almost separated because of him."
"I...didn't mean to...I didn't want this..." Lincoln said looking at his hands while shaking even tears dropping down. "I just want to make sure everyone is safe...doing the right thing...I'm sorry...Mom, dad, Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lisa, Lily...I am so so sorry..."
Coming out of the shadow is Inner Demon who simply crosses his arms and glares at him.
"I told you and look it got you, you didn't even defeat the Deadly Seven on your own. But you let your rage take over, and Metaxtist finally takes down." Inner Demon said as held out his hand. "Now Lincoln, let our power be more powerful...no one ever mess with us again."
Lincoln was hesitant, seeing his Inner Demons offering his hand to him. 'If I accept...then no one would...' he raised his hand up, about to accept his Inner Demon.
"He's not gonna accept your offer."
Lincoln stopped, as he turns to see to his surprise...Scan!
Scan walked toward Lincoln and placed his hand on his shoulder as look at Lincoln with a smile of pride. "My boy, you don't wanna be him... it does not suit you."
"But Scan, I didn't save you..." Lincoln cries as tears go down his cheeks. "I-I wish, I could be saved you...now you are gone!"
"But still have Sarah, my boy, you are getting stronger." Scan replied as he hugged him. "You two are so important to me, I don't wanna you two suck in. Promise me you always used it for good."
Lincoln let out tears as he hugged him. "I gonna miss you..."
"Me too...tell Sarah I gonna miss her." Scan said
Inner Demon just walked away from them as his glowing red eyes just glared at them.
Linkage came back to reality, as his eyes turns back to normal. "You wouldn't..."
Of course, I do, one move and I-" Metaxist said interrupting her and feeling something, until a moment he didn't see coming.
Sarah held up a sharp piece of Metaxist's armor, hitting him in the chest and causing him to groan, still holding onto her hair, the last action to free herself; she quickly slashes her hair off which causes her to fall, Gar catches Sarah as Lioness created a portal, all three of them escape.
"Dame you bit-!" Metaxist shouts only to get punched in the mask by Linkage so hard that sends to the forest.
A burst open to the sky black energy, Metaxist grew more hatred than ever, he glares at Linkage who goes to him. "I grew more anger now boy, you so-" Linkage only look at him with a smirk. "What's that face?"
Linkage spoke with satisfaction. "Guess your mask is not that strong to hold."
Metaxist's eyes widened, he touch his face and felt his skin, horrified his face is revealing to the world, the screen showing who really is. There's no way out no more, not even his powers he got, ever change people moment...he never knows what to do but one thing is to blame who cause him to become a now a wanted man. His eyes become pure dark, and he screams top of his lung then sounded...demonic.
"YOU CROSS THE LINE BOY, I DON'T CARE ANYMORE, OF THIS DAME PLACE...THE ONLY THING I NOW DESIRE IS ME...KILL YOU AND PULL OUT THAT DAME HEART OF YOURS!
He releases his energy thus is created a black neam to the sky as created...pure dark waves. Linkage looking around and seeing the waves, just keep spreading.
The waves keep on spreading through until reach far away outskirts of Royal Woods, then reach beyond Great Lakes City.
Linkage sees now a dome inside, he looks at Metaxist. "What did you do?"
John only chuckled. "I created the most sinister move I ever created, called The Final End...causes everything into destruction; earthquakes, temperature going haywire, heavy winds, lava bursting out of the ground everything into collapse... and the best part is." Having the dark smile ever had in his life. "Ten minutes...everything in this dome, will be destroyed, nothing but pure black dust.
Linkage...is horrified, he does not just kill him, he will take out those countless people in this dome. "You...demon, you gonna take out that countless..."
"Face it, child, you brought them to this fight, but don't worry, once I kill you-" Metaxist said charging at Linkage. "You will not be alone in this afterlife!"
Linkage only glared, and charge at him as both collided causing major shockwaves.
In the streets, Royal Woods started screaming when cracks from the ground got larger, a couple fall in but simply save by Jenny who phases out of the cracks. A building was about to fall apart but an ice moth, Big Chill, came out with two children placed on the ground with their parents. El Tigre swung throughout town until saved an old lady from a broken building. Both Jake and Hailey use their flames to stop a crossfire at goes gas station, causing people to leave safely. Lucky Girl's top of the building sees total destruction everywhere, not many of them saving lives, and everything is collapse.
Lucky Girl touches her own earpiece. "Guys, this getting nowhere! Everything is fallen apart!"
"Then what we suppose to do?" Ben's question as Jenny helps landed in front of him, with others joining them.
"Where's Gar? He supposes to help out at least." Hailey said
*BOOM*
They felt that and turns to see loads of missiles, hitting the dome. "They going at it." Jenny comment.
"Guys, don't worry guys...getting ready for a jumped."
They hear from a comlink, Jenny. "Gar?"
The Hellcarrier keep on shooting the Dome, and tried to destroy it but did not leave it scratched, inside of it look at the leader of it, Nick Fury. "Stop firing, is not working...is made pure magic from a bastard."
"Sir, the destruction is getting higher." One of the SHIELD members. "Huh, sir, the sky turns dark all suddenly..."
Nick Fury looks at the sky that just turn dark. "What in the..."
Sarah is smiling at what's happening. "Good see you again..."
"Speak your wish..."
Gar goes serious. "Alright, My first wish is when the Final End attack ends, everything fully restores."
"Very Well...your second wish."
Gar nodded. "Alright, my second wish is those killed during Final Ends come back to life..."
"It's done...your final wish."
Gar knows what to do. "Yes, my last wish is..."
"WAIT!"
The others were surprised by what they heard. "Lincoln?"
Back in the battle, Metaxist firing lightning at Linkage who simply hits away, and speaks to comlink. "Listen to me, I want you guys to change the wish...I want you to wish everyone out of the dome except Metaxist and me!" he shouts out energy at Metaxist.
"Listen Lincoln, I know wanted revenge for what he did to my dad...killing him isn't bring him back even Dragon Balls says it won't work."
Linkage punches Metaxist and sends him flying. "This isn't about revenge, it's not letting escape! This dome is just a big distraction make sure he is gone without a trace and he will keep coming after everyone we loved...I won't let that happen!"
"Lincoln..."
"Garfield...please!" Linkage shouts tightening his grip.
Gar tightened his grip and gritted his teeth. "I wish everyone in the Final Ends teleport outside just a few fards from the place, all separated into groups, the criminals into a large one."
"Consider it done...Farwell."
Everyone who is alive even the creatures begins to teleport away even the heroes, Metaxist sees loads of glowing lights appear everywhere until it stops. "Everyone is saved."
"Saved, what are you talking about?" Metaxist question
"I don't spill any details, but a friend makes a wish that when this attack ends, the damage will restore everything to its rightful place, returns the lives during The Final Ends, and my best part is the last wish. "
Metaxist gritted his teeth. "What was it."
Linkage answered with a smirk. "The last wish is to teleport everyone in the dome outside, every single living being, except you and me...your planning become meaningless."
Metaxist screams causing around to break apart, and he glares. "Boy, you make a big mistake of not teleporting away with them."
"I am not going anywhere...you cause so much pain, so much to those including Scan...who is gone." Linkage responds as he created a red aura in anger. "You and I will finish this here and now!"
Metaxist glares then smirk. "Alright boy, you get your wish... the whole place to ourselves, now let's end this!"
Both charged at each other and created shockwaves.
Outside of the dome, everyone in large groups totals ten each, but the biggest one is the criminals.
"Where are we?" Spoke the Juicer
"I don't know one thing for sure we are free!" Shouts a mole man
"Let's get out of here before something happens." said the cat burglar
Suddenly an overload of tech spears happens, hitting around them, thus creating a large light blue sphere appear, trapping them for the metax criminals...as for normal ones large concrete rock walls appear, and black construct bars on the roof. Two ladies appear with a glare, one is blonde and the other has a blue cloak.
"Think again." The cloak said
"Yeah right, I am not gonna stay in." Boom Box replied shoots outs a ring but only blasts back, knocking him down.
"Dumbass." Blonde states.
In Great Lakes City, same thing but has tech bars thanks to Plumbers, thanks to certain calls to Grandpa Max.
"All good kids how are you?" Grandpa Max asked
On the main hill, the heroes, look at the dome, while Ben and Gwen look at phones. All of them look at the screen, seeing their friend battling out on now an insane villain.
"We good, but...Lincoln still fighting." Ben said looking at the screen. "I hope he wins.
"Linc..." Jake said tightening his fists.
Hailey held her hands to her mouth in worry. "Lincoln..."
Jenny looks up. "Win this..."
"Survive this amigo." Manny said
"Come back." Gwen states
Gar felt worse since he made the wish, and does nothing about it now. "Please..."
"Fight..." Sarah said in worry, fighting for everyone he loved including her, she shouts hope he can hear her. "PLEASE LIIINNCCOLN!"
Linkage and Metaxist exchange punches and kicks at fast speed, going all over everything in a blur shockwave, in the sky, to the ground, between cracks in the underground, going through broken down buildings. Linkage gets punched in the stomach, sending him so far to Great Lakes City, and gets smashed into the building, making it fall. Linkage sees Metaxist sending out loads of black beams at him, Linkage got up as black beams come at him, he simply does them left and right until punches Metaxist in the face. Thus Linkage began beating down Metaxist on the tall building's roof until keep beating Metaxist down on each floor, destroying them, once got to the first floor...Metaxist has enough, he blasts Linkage away, sending him flying. Linkage stops and begins to charge who put on a shield, but Linkage only flies away.
"Tried to keep up!" Linkage mocked pushing his speed.
"Get back here!" Metaxist shouts fly after him.
Linkage flies to Kage's Lake, Metaxist begins shooting Linkage but the boy dodges making each blast splashes rings until Linkage goes back to Metaxist and delivers a punch in the chest. Both of them once again exchange punches and kicks, even red and black beams traveling while they fight. Until going back to the broken company again, both of them deliver powerful punches in the faces. Metaxist sees loads of lava shooting
Royal Woods sides, some of the villains tried escape only backfired shocking down, while two heroes who made the prison simply watches them together.
"At this rate, they will be knocked out." The cloaked one said
"Totally..." Blonde replied
Meanwhile citizens, the Loud Family finally finds each other.
"You girls alright?"
One of a group, the loud family check their daughters, they simply wait and watch the fights, cheering for their Boy of Tomorrow.
"We find, just hope this end soon," Lori said
"Yeah, I don't wanna lose our home, I hope Linky is alright?" Leni replied
"I know he's with Sarah now, thinks she really needs him." Lynn states
Luan looks down sad. "Yeah, I hope things stay...since he...you know."
"Is Lisa going to be okay?" Lola asked looking at their genius siblings.
Rita only hugged Lisa. "Give her some time."
"Um...we got a problem." Lynn Sr replied looking at the screen.
Linkage and Metaxist go around the lava that shoots out from the ground, Metaxist uses this opportunity to send Linkage to one of the lava; blasting the boy into the shooting lava.
"AH, I finally got em'...not so strong..." Metaxist mocked seeing another lava shooting up making him shocked.
Linkage came out with a slime aura around him but his shirt is gone, showing his slim muscular body, left leg piece is gone. "You really are pathetic for using advantage."
Metaxist grew angry. "Just who the hell think you are..."
"You already know..." Linkage said as spoke seriously. "The boy who you created, a child who trains and is mastered by people he trusts. I'm a hero who surrounded people he cared for, loved, and trusted..new hero born of a new generation that will make the future brighter than ever," he created a powerful energy power up.
"I AM THE BOY OF TOMORROW,
LINKAGE!"
But unknown to them, that type of clothing situation, making females gawk at him is the muscular tone of such a young age even ones he knows.
Gar sneaky sees Hailey and Gwen getting red faces. 'He's gonna get them for sure.'
As so, Linkage and Metaxist begin fighting again, in the forest, going around battling through deep trees, Linkage dodges each tree but Metaxists simply break through them. Linkage uses energy chains wrapped around a giant rock and throws it at Metaxist who gets hit sending him flying until destroys the giant rock. Metaxist created loads of spears Linkage made an energy wave, destroying them, but Metaxist uses this only as a distraction punch Linkage in the face send to the ground.
"Feeling painful child?" Metaxist asked
Linkage lifted himself up. "Is that best you can do?"
"What?" Metaxist question
Linkage stands up. "I say is that best you can do?"
"Watch mouth you little bas-" Metaxist interrupted by Linkage, kicks him.
Linkage sends Metaxist back down to the same place, T.C. Corp, he landed and sees Metaxist getting himself up, his armor breaking apart. "It's over..."
"Over...what do you mean?!" Metaxist question
"I sense your energy, it's dropping like crazy, guess your new form isn't a much greater threat than I thought...you can go all you want, it's pointless to let me stay in this dome and wait to blow up. Either die or survive, I don't care...you are anything but a wanted man in this world you tried to conquer. You are nothing but a waste John, hope you're happy."
John's eyes twitch getting red veins. "Dame you...that is the last straw..." Linkage flies away. "You lied, I am...not...weak!" He shoots out loads that seem to be black snakes with purple eyes.
Linkage looks downs. "Won't give up..." He begins to fly away and tried to avoid them.
"Don't even try boy, those snake-seeking will be caught any powers they see," Metaxist replied Linkage flies all over until he flies down, going towards Metaxist glares. "You think to fall that again?!"
Linkage does unexpected, he changes back to Lincoln and hides under the debris as snakes now only see one energy source. The snake goes to him, biting the shoulder, left thigh, and lastly the stomach...draining him. 'Always think it's best for draining own energy.'
Linkage flies down while glaring at the down Metaxist, who glares back at him. Seeing Linkage's hands glow, Metaxist told him "Go ahead, put me out of my misery. This is what you truly want, Linkage. This is how it should end!"
Linkage looks at his own glowing hands, he then stops his hands from glowing. "No."
"I beg your pardon?" Metaxist asked in surprise.
"John, you've been screwing me around for too long. You've hurt me, you've hurt the Atoms, you've hurt everybody that you know. You've ruined too many lives, and ending you would only give you satisfaction. But I'm different from you, I'm not petty and pathetic like you." Linkage told him.
"Why did he stop?" Lana asked in shock while looking at the screen.
"Beats me, whatever they're saying the audio isn't working much," Luna said, everyone, can barely hear what they say due to the audio damage thanks to Boom Box being put down.
"Pathetic, me!?" Metaxist shouts as he struggles to get back up, "You and I are the same! Both living in big families, we all know what it's like being left out! You and me-"
"Are not the same," Linkage told him, "The only difference is that you don't have an excuse. You've killed your family, friends, and acquaintances. You may have screwed over my relationship with my family, but I don't hate them."
"What?!" Metaxist question
Linkage turn away from him as spoke. "I was just disappointed at them, I see them really heartbroken by me leaving to live in the Atoms. I can see they finally getting help, I know one day the people of Royal Woods will forgive them when I forgive them. But you, you never forgive those who betrayed you or break your heart, you just gonna kill or take those who are dearest to them like taking Sarah from Scan. That's why John, you and I are nothing alike...face it, you have lost." He took off flying.
Metaxist is now angry, seeing Linkage flying away "How dare you...you lecturing me of being pitiful...YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S PITIFUL! I...am Metaxist, the strongest Metax in this world...I am powerful...you are not...You...a child...a brat...I...never...EVER...LOSE YOU!" he shouts as his hand creates a black large ball, and throws it up in the air toward Linkage.
Linkage flew up as the ball comes up. The young hero swings his hand, shouting "THIS IS FOR SCAN!"
Linkage blasted a big red blast at the black large ball as go through it, the blast goes to Metaxist who block it and consume the energy.
"You need to do more than that to stop-Huh?!" Metaxist said seeing his hand getting breaking apart. "WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!"
"What you expect, you keep gathering energy your body won't handle it..like overcharged a battered." Linkage said
"No...no..." Metaxist's shuttered. His face cracks as his whole body cracks. "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" he cries out as his whole body bursts purple light. Eventually, his legs shattered, and his arms exploded as he disintegrates all over bringing out a large, purple sphere that engulfs the broken-down lab.
Linkage covers his eyes, as the light was too bright for him. As the light dies down, he eventually saw that everything was gone. The broken building is gone, the portal is gone, and the grass and concrete are. It's now one dark circle of nothingness.
Thus dome begins to disappear out of existence, everything begins to repair due to shining light all over the place.
"He's finally gone." Linkage said as he looks up to the sky. "Thank you...Scan."
(Cue: Sad and Sorrow)
A week later...
In Scan's residence, it's dark and quiet until comes out of the room happens to be Lincoln; he happens to be wearing a black sleeve button, blue jeans, and black shoes. He's having a very depressed look as seems to have bangs over his eyes, his eyes are dull.
Lincoln walked down as he opened up the front door, he sees three days having dark clouds. "Here we go..."
He simply walked, no transform, he simply walked down with hands in his pockets, he remember all the times Scan did overtime...the training, the lesson, and above all the great time with him like a second father figure to him, now...he's gone and in place that he right belong. Lincoln sees Sarah's place, he goes in front of Sarah's front door and knocks on it. Coming out is Belle, who is dressed in a black dress and gray stockings with black heels. She saw Lincoln after he transforms back as she says "Hey Linc. Sarah's getting ready, but..."
Lincoln sighed, as he walks in "I'll go to her. Just get the car ready."
Belle nodded as she went out meanwhile Lincoln walked upstairs to Sarah's room. He knock on the door and heard Sarah's voice.
"Belle, just go away...I need to be alone." Sarah said in depressed.
"Sarah...it's me..." Lincoln replied
"Link...please...I need more time." Sarah respond
"Sarah please open the door let me talk to you. I know how it feels...Scan was the best father figure for me and you greatest sister I can ask for. You two always helped me, now time for me to help you." Lincoln said
Silenced followed as the door slowly opens. Sarah is wearing a black dress that reaches her knees, brown stockings and black heels, and black arm gloves. She has running mascara due to her tears.
She sniffed as she felt Lincoln hugging her. She went to hug him back as she cries "I...I miss him..."
"Me too, I miss him too Sarah...I promise to protect you and be happy." Lincoln said as look at her.
Sarah smiled as kiss his head. "Thank you...I...I think I ready."
Lincoln nodded as both walked down to the door, both of them shocked to see a limo nearby. Coming out of it happens to be Gar who wearing a black suit with a black brim hat.
"I make sure you three be there as important people," Gar said as tit his hat toward them.
Lincoln, Sarah, and Belle all went inside the limo and they are met with scientists that are acquainted with Scan. Nora Wakeman with her daughter Jenny in black metal dress, Dr. Reed Richards and his wife Susan Storm of the Fantastic Four, Grandpa Max with Ben and Gwen, Dr. Hank Pym aka Ant-Man, Bruce Banner, and Tony Stark.
"Hi, Jenny, Mrs. Wakemen, Max, Ben, and Gwen," Lincoln said as he look at them. "I guess you are all Scan's friends."
"So you're Lincoln Loud, Scan talked all about you...doing worry son, your secret is safe," Rees replied
Lincoln surprised. "You all know who I am?"
"Scan talk about you and you are a great hero, we even train three boys who got infected by the same energy as us," Susan said
"You are a fun kid who always does the right thing," Hank replied
"Here..." Stark said give Lincoln a card. "I train Spider-Man, if you are interested in Stark Enterprise, I can train you."
"Thanks, but can we talk later," Lincoln replied as he grabbed Sarah's hand.
The limo begins to drive to the location, while Lincoln looks at the Royal Woods. The people outside as wearing black, some holding out signs that say R.I.P. Scan.
The limo is parked at the entrance of the City Hall, we see Lincoln and others coming out of the limo. Lincoln can see the whole town is here, as the stage set of a picture of Scan and the speaker stands.
As soon as the mayor of Royal Woods came up to speak. "This is a sad day for us all to broken day, Scan Atoms has now...in another side. We are here to know we all care about his deeds to use his great mind to help others in his years. Ever since he moved here to our beloved place, Royal Woods has had great technology to help people to live safely, love, and comfortably. Now here's someone who wanted to say something, her daughter Sarah Atoms."
The mayor moved aside as Sarah got to the speaker, she looks down as said depression. "I know my father my whole life, he does have the genius to solve problems in particulars...but he has the heart to show true love toward people he cares about including me and my friend Lincoln. All his life he wanted to help those who needed saving, he even cares for others who learn from their mistakes...he doesn't care about money or the awards...he only is with people who care for him and love those who know him over the years, the best thing of my father is his wisdom and humanity...I'm...I'm gonna miss him."
Sarah teared up, as she is being escorted by Gar off the speaker. Lincoln went by her side in comfort.
Later on, everyone placed the stuff Scan likes in his empty grave. Sarah held up an old small trophy of hers, she has won it back at a school science fair on a science project her dad helped her make. She placed it on his grave.
Lincoln went up to the grave, and he manages to bring in Scan's glasses. He places the glasses inside the coffin, as he walks back to Sarah.
The coffin lowered down, and everyone threw the dirt on top of it. All of Royal Woods will miss the professor that gave this city what it needs.
Later on, the people left and said their blessings. Lincoln sits on the bench, while Sarah kneels down on her father's gravestone. Gar stood by in comfort.
Lincoln looks down in his own hands, 'If only I was strong enough, I could...' he lets out a tear, feeling the guilt of not saving Scan.
"Lincoln?"
He turns to see his former family, all dressed in black. The Louds all gave sad looks on their faces when they were at the funeral.
"Oh...hi guys," Lincoln said as he didn't look at them, "You...came to the funeral."
"Yeah, even though the people were glaring at us. But Sarah had us in to pay for our respects." Luna states.
"It's good to you guys again, how's your day since I left?" Lincoln asked
"Terrible. Our whole lives change since you went, son. Everything we ever have just been destroyed because of our stupid mistakes. But since you are here, I wanted to say sorry for being such a boss to you. I know you have been in gathering so much anger because I wanted to be a good worker. Now I understand you are only a child, you need to have a good childhood." Lynn Sr said
Rita spoke with sadness. "Honey, I'm sorry for putting you on so much responsibility...I thought I wanna you to be me, but I was wrong, you are your own person. I truly love you Lincoln, I don't care you hated me...I wanted your forgiveness, and don't care takes years...I gonna earn your forgiveness I have to."
"Lincoln..." Lori said as said it to her chest. "I'm sorry to treat you as a slave, above all threatening you over and over just because of my selfish needs. I never thought it hurt you badly, just so frustrated when every sibling needed me. I'm sorry to put you through so much work while I text on the phone all the time. I wish I can take it back and be the one who looks after you since I'm the oldest sibling."
"And I'm sorry too," Leni said showing her dry tears "I shouldn't have been following the decision. I was too igor-mint about it and I will have to think independently rather than follow what everyone does."
"I've been a crummy guardian to you, Lil bro." Luna said with a sniff "I should've protected you more and should care about your feelings more."
"Lincoln, sorry," Luan said sadden eyes. "I never should have pranked you or used Ronnie Anne to get you out of the room. I never wanted you to get hurt, I don't want you to hate me." Luan said
"Dear brother...Lincoln." Lucy said as shake all over. "I didn't know this will happen, I miss you and so does the others."
"It's just not the same without you around, but in all fairness, it's our fault that we've driven you out," Lana said, wiping her nose after crying.
"We shouldn't have been selfish with our needs and could've given you a break." Lola states as her mascara run from her eyes, "It was wrong for us to drive our only brother out because we've been so selfish towards him."
"I should apologize as well," Lisa states, tears running from her eyes "Brother, I'm sorry for all the experiments I've been trying to experiment on you and all of you. It was wrong of me to always try to harvest your organs for testing. Though saying it out loud does not help my cause."
Lynn looks at Lincoln. "Lincoln, ever since you left...everything changed...Everyone hated us, our friends abandoned us, and Pop-Pop even Aunt Ruth don't bother talking to us. Most above, you are never in the household anymore...Lincoln, I'm sorry." Lynn knee down as cries. "I'm sorry for being such a jerk, I'm sorry I blame you for our dame selfish mistake, I'm sorry for turning against you...PLEASE FORGIVE WHAT HAVE US WHAT WE HAVE DONE!"
Lynn cried while comfortable by the family while Lincoln look at her. They say theirs apologize, as they see Lincoln who turns around to see them having his hair cover his eyes. They had nervousness on their faces, and he spoke.
"You know I think, in past months I heard from Linkage that you all taking therapy as intense between the friends you girls have. I know times you girls did to me makes me so angry I wanted to rip out my hair." Makes the family frown until he spoke again. "But you girls always tried to make things right afterward, trying to make me happy with decisions you girls did, so I'm not gonna keep this hate in me so..."
Lincoln lifted up his arms making the family's eyes wide, he smiled a bit with his eyes. "I come here...I forgive you."
Just Lincoln felt a big heavyweight hug, he sees each sister hugging him. The parents even hug each side of their children.
"Sweetie, you mean you come back?" Rita asked
"I don't think that can't work mom," Lincoln respond.
"Of course," Lisa said "Sarah Atoms still counts as your legal guardian. Because of Child Service, you can't come back to our household," she said sadly.
"Yeah, but there's also the fact about Sarah," Lincoln said turning to her, "She really needs me right now. I can't just up and leave her like this."
"But...But..." Rita said
"Mom doesn't be selfish, look...I forgive you guys and love you, I can't just leave like this...she needs me, I promise I hang out with you guys and your activities. I tried my best to be there for you all, just please behave yourselves and no more fighting each other. Okay?"
"Okay/Yeah/Promise." Sisters said in union
Lincoln smiled as he hugged them each as well walking back to Sarah and Gar. Rita is about to go to her son but Lynn Sr grabbed her shoulder while shaking his head.
Lincoln sees his family walk away, he frowns a little but little happy his family got out of the weight of guilt. Lincoln goes to Sarah and Gar and stays there until the rain stops.
'A wise man says this; Knowledge is the power that uses it for mankind, a kind to show who we are. Scan shows us that, his humanity is the greatest power ever had.' Lincoln thought as he glows green.
