Courtney walked into a fancy restaurant in Abrahams's arms. Courtney plastered her fake dazzling smile ready to deal with snobby rich people.

Courtney and Abraham soon were immersed in a conversation with a rich couple.

"So Courtney what is your profession?" The lady asked lifting her perfect eyebrow.

"I actually am a therapist for children and adults." Courtney smiled. She did have a few adult people she helped she mainly helped children.

"How remarkable it's nice to see someone caring for our youth." She smiled.

Courtney beamed "thank you and may I hear about your profession?"

"I'm a lawyer as well but right now I'm in the process to be a judge." She asserted cockily.

"Impressive." Abraham complimented.

"Indeed it is." Courtney agreed.

The women's husband was going to add to the conversation when he saw someone "oh pardon that's Jamie and I need to speak with him." He excused his wife and himself.

"Of course," Abraham said.

When they were out of earshot Abraham turned to Courtney almost beaming "for a second I thought I was gonna have to mentally kick myself for forgetting to tell them you were a lawyer instead."

Courtney stared at him now with her eyebrow raised "what's that supposed to mean?"

"Well having a wife that's a therapist is kinda embarrassing." He shrugged like he didn't realize how insensitive it was.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Courtney said clearly insulted.

Abraham fixed his mouth to answer when a voice interrupted their conversation "Mr.Michealson!"

Courtney looked to see a beautiful dark skin goddess practically gliding to them. She had beautiful dark brown eyes Finn lips with long black curly hair. She wore a dark emerald green dress with a slit out on her left leg with a plunging neckline with matching heels.

Abraham put on a smile "nice to see you again Ms.Walton." He nodded.

Courtney recognized the girl and the name from somewhere there was something familiar about her but she couldn't place a finger on it.

She stood in front of the two and she noticed Abrahams's eyes darkened with lust and he looked at her cleavage.

Courtney felt herself boil with anger and jealousy.

"And you. Nice to see you again" Ms.Walton turned to Courtney with a sweet smile Courtney knew it had to be fake.

"I'm Apologize, but I don't remember who you are..." Courtney trailed off not knowing her name.

"Victoria. Victoria Walton." She smiled.

-Flashback-

Courtney walked into Abraham's work firm, he forgot the work file that he needed for his court case. She thought she'd bring it to him before she had to work.

His secretary smiled at her "how may I help you?"

"Hey Sam, I just wanted to stop by to see Abraham I won't be long." She informed the worker.

He nodded gestured for her to continue to his office. Courtney soon was at his door and tried to open his door to find it locked.

"Who's there" she heard Abraham call out.

She heard faint mumbling and shuffling before even answered "it's me? I'm just stopping by." Courtney called out.

"I'm busy right now court." He called.

Courtney looked at the big oak doors in confusion as if it was Abraham standing there. "It's important Abraham," Courtney said firmly.

She stood there as he unlocked the door. Courtney let herself in to see a beautiful girl sitting in a chair across from Abraham's seat with files in her hand.

Her curly hair looked slightly... untamed but she smiled at Courtney "hi I'm Victoria Walton, Abraham's assistant."

"Nice to meet you I'm Courtney, Abraham's wife."

"So what can I do for you." He asked scratching the back of his neck.

Courtney looked at Abraham to see his fly was down "I brought you your file, you said you had an important court case today and I didn't want you to stress about it so I got it for you Abe." Courtney smiled handing him the file.

"Thanks." That was all he said and she took this time to lean in to whisper in his ear "hun your fly is down."

Abraham had a slight look of panic before he masked it Courtney thought it was because of how he walked around his job with his fly down but how naïve she was.

- end of flashback -

Courtney felt her teeth grit as she put on an innocent smile "anyway I just wanted to congratulate you on you getting your big award, hopefully, I get my big award soon." She said smiling at them both but mainly at Courtney's husband.

Courtney knew that had a double meaning from the way her eyes glinted mischievously.

"I'm sure you will if you keep working hard, and thank you." He said smiling modestly.

Courtney mentally scoffed the nerve of this guy.

"Anytime and it was nice seeing you, Courtney." She smiled before walking off.

Courtney looked at him in incredulity "what the hell was that?" She snapped quietly to not get other people's attention.

"What?" He asked confused.

"Why the hell is she here?" Courtney spat.

"Courtney calm down I didn't know she was going to be here, maybe she's showing someone else support. I haven't seen her in a long time." He shrugged dismissively.

"I saw the way you were staring at her I have eyes you as-"

"Excuse me, sorry to interrupt this conversation but the awards are starting and everyone must be in their seats." A worker by the name of Cameron intruded shyly.

"Thank you we'll be on our way." Her husband said.

"This conversation isn't over," Courtney said scowling at him one last time before putting on a professional facade and walked into the room with her oh so faithful husband

After the award ceremony, Courtney was talking to the wives of Abraham's coworkers.

They were talking about their jobs when Victoria walked by them.

"Can you believe her? She is so rude." One of the wives wearing a red strapless dress said.

"What do you mean ?" Courtney asked.

"She just thinks way too highly of herself. She's been a pain in my ass especially visiting my husband at work every Thursday and Friday."

The other wife agreed "she's one of the not so new employees, she's been working here for about 3 months?" She asked the other wife in question.

"Yup 3 months I think and something is off about her." The wife said glaring in Victoria's direction even though victory wasn't paying attention.

Courtney stood there in shock. Abraham hid from her that his old mistress transferred to his new firm. What the hell else was he hiding from her? Was he cheating again?

Courtney was snapped out her thoughts when Abraham walked up to the three of them "Excuse me I need to steal Courtney here."

"No problem have fun, Courtney." The wife winked at her and Courtney wanted to roll her eyes but she couldn't she just winked back went with Abraham.

"Are we leaving? Cause we need to talk." Courtney stated with finality.

"You're leaving I'm staying, Mr.Parker wants us to have a meeting about the trip." He explained.

"What? So I'm supposed to pick you up?" Courtney asked

"No, actually I need the car. So I did the honor of calling an Uber, cause I don't know when I'll be back, the boys and I are thinking we should get drinks to celebrate."

"What the hell Abraham what was the point of bringing me here when-" Abraham cut her off with a kiss.

Courtney almost instantly pulled away then Abraham led her outside to see a Uber waiting for her "I'll see later on okay honey bun?"

Courtney silently seethed as he leaned to kiss her cheek. Courtney moved away so he couldn't and got in the car and slammed the door without a goodbye.

——————————————

Courtney walked into her building walking to the elevator swiftly to not wake up the person sleeping at the front desk. Once in the elevator, she dug through her clutch looking for her keys. The elevator ride soon came to end she still didn't have her keys.

She walked to her door and realized that Abraham must've had the keys. Courtney groaned in frustration and kicked her door in anger.

She closed her eyes and stood there trying to calm down when she heard a door open.

She opened her eyes and seen Duncan walk out with a white t-shirt on and gray sweats. He gave her a questioning gaze but then saw her outfit.

Courtney blushed as his mouth opened slightly "Wow you look amazing." He complimented genuinely.

She blushed, Abraham saw her in the dress and didn't say anything, not even a small compliment.

"Thank you." She smiled shyly not having this kind of attention in a long time.

"Well princess what are you doing here throwing a royal tantrum?" Duncan asked folding his arms leaning against his door frame.

She mentally debated if she should tell him but decided why not.

"I forgot my keys, my husband has them and he's in a work conference at the moment and won't be back for a while."

"Do you want to sit in mine till he gets back?" Duncan asked gesturing to his place.

Courtney was taken aback he didn't say anything sexual to her, hasn't really teased her or commented about her love life. Is he actually being a decent human being?

Should she go to Duncan's apartment? Maybe she should go to Bridgettes or Heather's? But they are across town and the Uber would be unnecessary, plus it's late it's midnight. She didn't want to be out this time of night.

"O-okay but no funny business!" Courtney firmly said.

Duncan nodded with his hands up in resignation "yes ma'am"

Courtney walked to the door and opened it and walked inside not noticing Duncan's bright smile as he followed behind her.

—————

He drove to the firm and unlocked the door and went inside. Leading the person behind him to follow. They went up the building till they found a room they were looking for.

Abraham opened the door and turned on the lights letting in the one and only Victoria.

She closed and locked the doors behind them both.

"So that was your wife? She's...cute." Victoria said with a smirk running her soft dainty hands up and down Abraham's chest.

Abraham's eyes followed her hands with lust clouding his brown eyes "Yeah...but I don't care about her right now. I care about you." He said pulling her close kissing her neck.

She let out a small moan as he pushed her against his desk and she sat on his desk both of them not being able to get enough of each other.

His kisses traveled down to her chest as she threw her head back in satisfaction.

"I can't wait for you to divorce her and be with me." She sighed. Abraham ignored her declaration and continued undressing them both till they were both one
