Chapter 5: Rat King City Part 1

In a dark, shadowy place. There lies the large, humanoid rat man known as the Rat King. In front of him is an army, an army of humanoid rats like him.

"My soldiers, we have been living in the sewers for many years. I'm made you all become more than rats, we are stronger now than any pathetic humans on Earth. Now it's time for us to take control of the city of Royal Woods and beyond the land. For the name is RAT KING!"

The soldiers cheers for their royal king, as they marched down to the location.

Up in the sky, Linkage is seen flying alongside a flying girl. She is Glow who spread her energy wings to fly alongside him.

"This is nice, flying like this!" Glow comments.

"Yeah, and thank Sarah for helping you make that new costume for you." Linkage comments.

"Yeah, glad she went with my suggestions," Glow said, wearing her own suit. Green goggles with white headphones with antennas, also wear a short green dress with black stripes, a green skater skirt, and black leggings with green elf boots. She wears black arm sleeves and green gloves.

"It can really fit you, help you fly, and shoot energy," Linkage said with a smile.

Glow simply does love the sky, it's really beautiful. "It's amazing, no wonder you love flying."

"It gets better, follow me," Linkage said grabbing Glow's hand. "Follow me."

Linkage flies up in the clouds while Glow holds onto his hand. Linkage finally got through the clouds, Glow was amazed to see what front of her.

It's the sun, while clouds surrounded like an art piece in front of them.

"It's beautiful." Glow comment

"I come here a lot, sees the world is changing but this place main the same," Linkage said enjoying the scene.

Glow sees Linkage as the sun shines on him, making her blush at him as make dreamy eyes. 'Oh my...the eyes.'

Linkage sees Glow sees her, having that face. "Are you alright?"

"I'm just glad you saved me and all, help me become a hero...you a such a great guy you know," Glow said in a flutter.

Linkage is shocked and blushes as well, both keep looking at each other until his earpiece came on much Glow annoying. "Yeah Sarah, you called?"

"Yeah, I got great news. Come back to tell you guys about it." Sarah said to end the call.

Linkage looks at Glow. "Time to go back, you okay?"

"Glow only pout. "I'm good, let's go back before she questions us."

Linkage and Glow manage to make it down at the Atoms Labs. There, they went to see Gar and Sarah present.

"So what's the good news?" Linkage asks.

"Well, it has come to decided that the Atoms Labs have partnered with Logans Labs to create a breakthrough project together," Sarah states.

"Yeah, Hiro and the gang really loved it there, including the others," Gar said with a smile.

"It what will that be?" Glow asked crossing her arms.

Gar opens up a hologram from his watch, to reveal a tube. "I call it, the Tele-Gate, with the Four's help, Atom's Lab clean energy, it can help travel people around the world in a blink of an eye."

Lincoln was shocked to hear it. "You mean a teleporter, that's amazing!"

"How long will it be completed?" Glow asks.

"Approximately, 3 months." Sarah states "We'll be able to travel anywhere. Just with a few tests and adjustments."

"And to celebrate the collaboration, let's go get pizza," Gar told them.

Lincoln made a big smile. "Now that's what I talking about!"

Glow transforms back into Jesse who seems to have a necklace on her. "Hope we get cheese sticks."

Meanwhile, Kong and Croc oversee the mutant rat army led by the Rat King. They are now at a power plant where it generates the city thanks to its energy source created by the Atoms.

"Shutting down this core energy will be good to unleash my army!" Rat King said with a grin.

"Yes, an easy distraction for Linkage to be busy with your army while we go mutate new recruits," Croc responds.

"Once the city blacks out and people run away in fear of this vermin army, Linkage will be through," Kong said.

"Wish we just mutated that hero, but he's already powerful," Croc replied

"Yes, this moment gets enough people to be one of us," Kong said looking at the list. "Already got the list of people who be worthy to be mutated, let's get started," Kong responds with a dark smile.

The gang seems to be in the pizza shop, they have a pizza with Belle. Lincoln goes to the counter, he wanted to someone there.

"Hey, Lori," Lincoln said as the girl turn around and see him.

"Lincoln," Lori said with a smile, she walked out of the counter and both hugged each other. "How are you doing?"

"Fine, what about you, in college," Lincoln replied

"I'm going fine other than people keep glaring at me, and the job...not so much," Lori said scratching her head.

"Well, I know the hard times people who hated you guys still, and got me thinking," Lincoln replied

"What do you mean by that?" Lori asked

"Why not work for Gar in Logan's Lab with Leni?" Lincoln asked

Lori flashes back to when Gar and Leni's tickle tortures her at the beach the other day. Her face looks red as she stammers "N-No! I mean, I'm pretty good around here right now, Lincoln. I mean, I don't have a full resume to work there."

'What's her deal?' Lincoln thought and then said it to her. "Lori, you about three years finish college, I wanted to experience in real Instrudtry that Gar working. This is not your place to work all the time, Gar help you get better pay and respect you deserve and employees that respect you deserve." he place Logan's Lab card on the corner. "Think about it."

Lori looks at the card, as Lincoln turns to join his group. Then they all notice the lights flickering until the whole power's out.

"Who turned out the lights?" Gar said as everyone stands up.

"The power must be out by the block," Lori said.

Sarah hears her phone beep as she picks it up, and her face frowns "It's not the whole block that's out...the whole city's power is out!"

"What, but that's impossible!" Belle's shout felt rumbled on the ground. "What is that?!"

Jesse looks outside. "Um, guys..."

Everyone looks outside to see a bunch of humanoid rats coming out of the sewage. Lincoln begins to sneak to the back, but he finds out that Jesse follows him.

"Jesse, no! You not ready yet to come in battle." Lincoln whispered

"But I want to help get rid of these rats," Jesse told him in a whisper as well.

"We still don't know the full capacity of your powers, so please keep on a watch for everyone. I need you to stay safe, okay?" Lincoln asks her.

Jesse didn't want to fight Lincoln over it, so she told him "Fine, but you better come back, okay?"

"I will," he said as he creates a clone of himself, as his true self turns into Linkage and sneak out at the back.

Jodi seems to come out of the shower, now wearing a red tank top that shows her midriff and blue shorts shorts, barefooted. She rubbed her wet hair, tosses the towel in a basket, and jumped in her big bed.

She snuggled up in her bed, and look at the ceiling. "Man, what a day?"

Jodi looks at her desk, to see a photo album of her mother, and her father.

Jodi grabbed the photo and look at it. "Why do I keep this photo?"

Jodi notices the lights are out, making her shocked. "What the heck?"

Linkage rises up as he saw all of Royal Woods completely shut down of power. He also saw humanoid rats popping up from the sewers.

"What's going on around here?" Linkage asks, looking around.

"RAAAHHHH!"

Linkage sees a big humanoid armory rat jump toward him and hits the hero with full force, sending him to a building until Linkage falls down to the ground.

"Okay, that's a jerk move." Linkage groaned in pain.

Linkage sees a bunch of rats coming to him, hs quickly blast them with an energy swipe and runs off.

Linkage sees many rats all over the place while he runs until he stops in the big building. "There's too many of them to fight."

"Linkage!"

Linkage sees in the City Hall, there's a man who happens to be Rat King standing. "You seem that know my mutated rat army, I'm successfully destroying the power plant! You have a choice Boy of Tomorrow; you either surrounded easily or die in the hand of my army."

"And who are you exactly?" Linkage demands.

"Why don't you recognize me and my true form?" Rat King declared.

Linkage's eyes widen, "That Rat Monarch?"

"It's Rat King now!" He declared, "And yes, I am alive and revived to be the ultimate being!"

"I'll stop that rat army of yours, making sure they won't hurt anybody!" Linkage said as he charges at Rat King, who turns out to be a hologram. "A hologram?" he asked, as he sees the rat army charges towards him. "When I find the real Rat King..."

"I'm gonna beat him until he goes back to sludge."

In the lab, we see Kong, Croc, and Rat King seeing the monitors. They see Linkage begin to fight the rat army, and three of them are surprised that the hero can take the fighting of train rat warriors.

"It seems we need to hurry to catch the subjects," Kong said

"Indeed," Croc said as Rat King walks out "And where are you going?"

"I got some unfinished business with a certain lady," Rat King told as he walks down through the tunnel of the sewers.

"Get them away from me!"

In the pizza shop, Gar likely fights the rats while not using his blast due to people around. Glow, Belle, and Sarah used brooms to defend themselves, even Lori used a frying pan while she was at the counter.

Gar once people are out of the way, shoots his blast at the rats, bringing them away from Lori as he sticks them up on the roof. "You okay?"

"Yeah, thanks," Lori replied as she opens the back door, "Quick, outside!"

The gang head outside as they saw many humanoid rats marching down the streets. Jesse points at the fire escape as she points at it "Come on, let's go up there!"

"We should avoid them when we're up!" Lincoln 2 said.

"Come on! Ladies first," Gar said as Sarah steps up, but then a tail-like rope snatches her ankles and drags her into the sewer.

"AHHH!" Sarah screamed while getting dragged.

"Sarah!" Gar shout trying to go after but spots them. "Dame it!"

Gar only sees Sarah's earpiece on the ground, which shocked him Linkage tracks her down. He quickly grabbed it and got up by using the wall.

Linkage getting overwhelmed by humanoid rats, he just stands his ground. His earpiece ringing means Sarah is in trouble, he answers. "Don't worry Sarah, I stop these guys and-"

"No Linkage it's Gar, they got her."

Linkage froze. "W-What?"

"Those rat bastards just got Sarah, I have her earpiece means we can't track her. I-I sorry!"

*Bump...Bump...Bump...*

Linkage just stands there while his bangs cover his eyes, he's getting torn up that Sarah is now missing with no way to find her.

*Bump...Bump...Bump...*

"Kill 'em!" a humanoid rat shout as they charge in.

Linksge then turns completely rage as roars. "ARRRGHHHH!"

Linkage releases his red flaming aura, spiky hair, and red eyes, wiping about 20 humanoid rats to ashes as flames form around him. His eyes glare at the rats, shouting "RAT KING!"

Throughout the sewers, Sarah ends up in a dark place. She's been dragged for a while and doesn't know where she's at. She has come to a stop when she gets dragged to a hole in a wall that fits her legs but traps her by her rear.

"Ah!" Sarah cries out, looking down to that her butt stopped from the pulling. Her blue loose sweater looks torn and wet, as her black skirt is lifted up. Outside her legs are kicking up and down from the other side "Help! Gar! Linkage! Help me!"

"No one can hear you."

Sarah froze, she recognizes that voice. She turns to find Rat King hovering over her from the wall. Smirking at her.

"F-Fredrick?" Sarah asked in shock "I thought you were dead!"

"I was unconscious into a pile of mutagen, but someone recovered my life force and brought me back to life!" he declared as he pat her legs, which are still kicking. "Now that I'm back, I shall have my fun with you."

"Leave me alone!" Sarah shouts as she felt Rat King grabbing her legs, wrapping around her knees, and taking off her white heels "Stop!"

"I have been missing this fine body." Rat King said finally getting the heels off. "Finally."

"No stop it now!" Sarah shout

Rat King saw her feet squirming as her toes curled in protection. His long nails slowly glide up and down on the arches, making Sarah laugh a little.

"Kehehe, cut it out!" Sarah cries out as she felt his nails raking her soles up and down "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHOHOHOHOOOO!"

"Nothing excites me more than your lovely legs and feet," Rat King said as he tickles roughly, his other hand caresses her thighs up to the end of the hole where he can only pinch the back of her thighs. He tackles the thighs as he tickles her feet.

"YOHOHOHOHOU BASASASATARD!" Sarah laughed while hitting Rat King's back.

"Oh, and don't worry about your little hero boy, I'm gonna send him somewhere far away." Rat King said as confused Sarah.

"YOHOHOHOHOU BASASASATARD!" Sarah laughed while hitting the wall.

"Oh, and don't worry about your little hero boy, I'm gonna send him somewhere far away." Rat King said to a confused Sarah.

Linkage blasts through the rat army as more keeps coming. One of the rat soldiers looks at the other, "The boss wants us to send Linkage far away."

"How?" Another replied as they spot a human blond girl in a purple sweater.

"Hostages." another state as they go to chase the girl.

Linkage keeps blasting each of the humanoid rats, as he hears a cry for help as he turns to see one of the rats kidnapping Carol.

"Linkage, help!" Carol screaming

Linkage in rage. "LET HER GO!"

Linkage charges toward them, who run to the City Council until they stop. Linkage is about to strike them but he suddenly got trapped in a bubble and he falls down on the ground really hard.

"What the?!" Linkage groaned in pain.

"I knew you have easily fallen into my trap."

Linkage looks up to see Rat King who holding Sarah who ties up and taped to her mouth, she had a worried look on her.

"Rat King! Let her go, now!" Linkage shouts at him, as he bangs the bubble he's in.

"That bubble's Metax proof, there's no way you can escape that, not even by your powers!" Rat King laughs while Sarah struggles to be released, but he kept her close. "Now, don't worry about Ms. Atoms, she'll be my queen once I take over the city!"

"Mhmm(Linkage!)" Sarah screams through her gag. She can feel Rat King's tail lifting her skirt up which she kicks away before the transition fee cuts off.

This makes Linkage mad as he keeps pounding his prison "RAT KING! WHEN I GET OUT, YOU WILL PAY!"

Meanwhile, Gar keeps using his shock blasts to electrify the rat army. There are too many of them as he hears Belle and Lori's cries when they get snatched by them.

"Gar, help!" Belle cries out, being carried over the shoulder as a rat slaps her butt "Hey!"

"Put me down!" Lori cries out, feeling the rat carrying her under his arm feeling up her legs.

"Dang, it!" Gar shouts as he gets dogpiled by the rats.

Jesse held her bat to swing at the other rat, but one grabs her ankle and lifts her upside down, making her pull up her skirt "Hey!"

At the mall, Leni is seen running to find a hiding spot from the rats taking over the mall. Leni has a new look, wearing a green short top and short skirt, with green sandals.

"Like, this is crazy!" Leni cries out, but then she gets grabbed by the waist as a group of rats lifts her up and places her over its shoulder. "Oh no,"

At the sewer base, Rat King laughs out loud while holding Sarah under his arms, her legs kicking around as he tickles her legs and feet in enjoyment.

"Yes! Royal Woods has become my city!" Rat King declares while lifting Sarah's legs up to kiss the heels of her feet.

"STOHOHOHOHOP!" Sarah's scream hits his back.

"Once I go to my back my lab, I'm gonna have fun with you none stop." Rat King said with a smirk, holding up to his speaker. "Rodent, time to send away the boy."

In the garage place, we see Luna wearing a black jacket with a purple shirt that is cut off to show her midriff, black tight jeans, and purple boots. She hits the rats with her star guitar. "This is bull crap huh Sam!"

A girl happens to be Luna's age and has white skin, blonde hair with a blue streak, and black eyes. Wearing a white shirt shows her D busts, purple jeans shorts shorts, and black boots. She hits a humanoid rat with a drum set. "I know, this won't stop...Luna, help!"

Luna sees Sam being carried away by a humanoid rat. "Let her go you-" a rat grabbed her, and places her on the shoulder. "Dame it!"

At the grocery store, Rita stood on top of a shelf while the humanoid rats capture a lot of people out of there and some chasing upward.

"I can't believe this is happening again!" Rita said she is wearing a pink tank top and black jersey short-shorts with red sneakers. She was at the gym before going to the store and now some rats came in.

However, to Rita's luck, she gets snatched by the jersey shorts by someone who swings her over her shoulder. "What the heck?" she asks.

"We meet again, my pet."

Rita recognizes the furry body, it was Roarma who holds her with her butt next to her face. "Not you again!" Rita shouts as she punches her back while kicking her legs around.

"I missed you so much after you escape, I chose you to be a subject," Roarma replied squeezing the behind.

"What's the subject?" Rita's question got a spank. "Ah~...stop that!"

"It's a secret, now let's go before someone notices us," Roarma answered

"The plan is working," Kong said as he and Croc confronts a man in a lone apartment.

"Y-You! What do you want from me?" spoke the man, who's revealed to be Feveroni.

"Feveroni, you are picked as one of our test subjects for our army," Croc told him.

"Army? For what?" Feveroni asks.

"An army of Mutant Metaxs." Kong replied with a grin. "And Linkage will not see it coming."
