Duncan got in his vehicle with a lot on his mind. He felt like a bad uncle for not even considering how his newfound relationship would affect Stephanie's sessions. He hoped he could talk to her as soon as possible.

He would've texted or called but unfortunately, she hasn't gotten in contact with him yet.

Pulling up to the gas station he went to the back looking for a snack to get. Settling on a honey bun, he walked through the isle to get to the front of the cashier when he heard hushed whispers.

His curiosity got the best of him and he looked over to see a guy and woman hugging.

He couldn't tell what they were doing or who they were. Just as he was gonna walk away the woman spotted Duncan looking at them. "Excuse me there are a million other things to look at in the store. pick something else to stare at." The woman snapped.

The man turned around and Duncan instantly recognized him. It was Abraham.

He saw his arms wrapped around her and his hands resting on her ass. Her arms were around his neck.

Abraham instantly dropped his hands from the woman and pushed the woman off, making her scoff in annoyance.

"N-neighbor. Hey, what are you doing here?" Abraham said in a friendly tone scratching his neck. Duncan raised his eyebrow. Abraham was never nice to him. Ever.

Finding it amusing he smirked. "I assume what everyone else does. Buy shit and get gas and leave. But I see that's not what you do in gas stations." Duncan said folding his arms.

"Oh no we-we we're just leaving right um Victoria?" Abraham said looking at his mistress.

Victoria rolled her eyes and walked off. But Duncan heard her mumble "sure."

Duncan just rolled his eyes. This is who he cheated on Courtney with? Yeah, this Victoria chick was hot, beautiful even but Courtney was way better.

Turning around he went to the cashier and put the snack on the counter.

"Can I get 50 on pump 4?" Duncan asked the man handing him a fifty-dollar bill.

"Yes sir." The man said ringing up his belongings.

Duncan was looking at the wraps for weed when he heard Abraham's annoying voice.

"Hey so uh neighbor. Can you keep what you saw between you and me? I know we haven't always got along but we're neighbors and-" Abraham said pleadingly before Duncan interrupted him.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. But I don't want to hear shit from you when I blast my music. Got that buster." Duncan said looking at him flatly.

Abraham let out a smile that made Duncan just want to punch his mouth.

"Yes understood. I won't complain or say anything." Abraham nodded.

Duncan turned back around and pointed at what wraps he wanted to get. "Can I get those please ?"

He heard the doors closed and assumed Abraham left.

"16.54." The man said.

Duncan grabbed his wallet to get his debit card.

"So are you gonna tell the wife." Duncan heard the man ask.

Duncan just smirked as he gave him the credit card.

"Nah," Duncan said after he swiped the card.

Duncan took this time to look at the cashier. He was a teenager, looked around 17 and he had shaggy red hair. His name tag said "thad".

"How come? I would." Thad said giving him his change and his card back.

"Cause..." he said grabbing his stuff.

"His wife found out already. Now she's banging another guy," Duncan smirked before walking off leaving the teenager stunned.

Duncan put the gas in his vehicle before heading back home.

Duncan got out and saw Abrahams's car, not in the parking lot. He figured he was gonna go fuck Victoria or something so this was his time to talk to her.

Making sure to ignore the annoying person behind the desk he walked to their floor and stood in front of her door.

He knocked on the door and waited for a sec. He almost thought she wasn't gonna get an answer when the door opened revealing a surprised-looking Courtney.

He looked her up and down resisting the urge to tease her about her outfit. He needed to focus on the actual situation.

"Can I come in princess?" He asked.

"Um sure." She said moving out the way. Duncan walked to her couch and sat down and soon Courtney joined him.

"I wanted to talk to you about something," Duncan said getting straight to the point.

He figured she knew this was serious cause she just nodded, looking at him focused. But then again why wouldn't she know she's a therapist she's trained to know shit like this.

"I know we agreed to things already and made our boundaries. But the thing is I need to add something else." Duncan explained.

"Okay," Courtney replied urging him to continue.

"I need to make sure this will not interfere with stephs sessions. If you think it will I'll understand and we can end this now. but-" Duncan started but she cut him off.

"Duncan. What we're doing is completely separate from Stephanie's sessions. What we have won't affect her at all. I'm the top therapist in the city for a reason." Courtney said.

Duncan let out a sigh of relief. he didn't even know he was holding in that.

"That's a relief it would suck to not be able to have you."

Courtney chuckled "don't worry. I'm very professional.

Duncan smirked. "I don't think you are."

He looked her up and down. She looked great in that shade of pink. And she looked even better cause it was lace. The silk robe she was wearing was practically begging him to rip it off of her.

She blushed. "W-what do you mean by that?"

He just smirked at her before kissing her deeply.

He didn't think he'd be having sex with her this soon but the opportunity was there and he was taking it. Apparently, Courtney thought the same cause she kissed him back.

She kissed him back grabbing the back of his head. Duncan's hands rubbed up her stomach and down to her hips and she laid back and pulled her close to him. His hands continued to roam around and they continued kissing until Courtney pulled away from him.

"Duncan w-wait what if Abraham comes back?" She panted as he kissed a sensitive spot on her neck which made her throb.

"That's the fun part babe. The thrill of getting caught." He whispered in her ear making her shiver. He smirked before nibbling on her ear making her let out a slight moan.

They began to undress and soon they were very entangled with each other. After a hot and sweaty session, Courtney laid on him on the couch feeling satisfied for the 2nd Time that day.

"I could get use to this," Duncan smirked placing a light swat on her ass. He couldn't believe Abraham would leave this at home. She was beautiful, had a job and her sex was top tier.

Courtney laughed at that.

The thought of Abraham came to his head and he thought about what he saw at the gas station. He forgot to tell her earlier. To be honest the last thing he was thinking about was that duche bag and the slut he was fucking. He was about to tell her, But the sound of keys on the other side of the door snapped them out of their after-sex daze and the important thing he wanted to tell Courtney left his head. He quickly stood up about to grab his things but Courtney stopped him.

"Go in the bedroom and hide under the bed!" She frantically whispered as she kicked his belongings under the couch.

Duncan did as told and ran to the bedroom. When he was halfway there he heard the doorknob start to jiggle.

He quickly dropped to the floor and got under the bed.

Being quiet and trying to silently catch his breath he saw Courtney's feet run to the bedroom that he was currently in and ran to a door and opened it. He saw a glimpse of the bathroom before she closed it.

The door opened and Duncan couldn't help but smirk as he thought about what they had just done.

"Hey, sugar I'm home! Are you still awake?" Abraham called out.

He saw him walking to the bedroom as Courtney stepped out.

"Hey. How was your hang-out?" Courtney asked. Duncan held in the snicker he wanted to let out. She was a good ass liar. He hoped her poker face matched.

"it was great. I just got back from the club. I drank a lot." Her husband laughed stumbling slightly. He rolled his eyes. Of course, he was drunk.

"Did you drive while you were drunk?" Courtney asked disbelievingly and disappointedly.

" no-no. Jack drove me haha. But I was thinking about you and I wanna taste you this time." He said. Duncan saw Courtney's feet suddenly rush to Abraham.

Duncan frowned. So he was just a greedy bastard. He also felt a little jealous and weirded out at the thought of him trying to have sex with princess in front of him.

"I um can't I'm not in the mood I'm actually cramping but I think there's ibuprofen in the bathroom. I was looking for it, can you get it for me? I can't find it." Courtney asked. He saw her feet step away from him. Which made him smile mentally.

"Mmcht but baby I want you now," Abraham whined. Duncan felt himself frown. If he tried to push himself onto her after she said no again, he was gonna get from under this bed and punch the shit out of him. He didn't care if he was naked either.

"But I'm not in the mood, now go find it!" Courtney snapped. He could tell she pushed him off this time.

"fine," Abraham said stalking to the bathroom and he made sure to slam the door. He rolled his eyes. What a baby.

But he perked up when she kicked the bed. He assumed that was his cue to get from under the bed. Getting from under the bed he silently ran and grabbed his clothes.

"Get out. Go now what are you doing!" She quietly whispered frantically.

"I can't run out there naked princess." He snapped quietly trying to hurry.

Once his boxers were on his body, Courtney shoved his things in his hand.

She quickly unlocked the door.

"Courtney I found them." A drunk voice called opening the bathroom door.

Before he could react Courtney quickly pushed him out and closed the door.

Meanwhile, Duncan quickly got into his apartment and closed the door.

Once he stood there a grin bloomed across his face. He was right. She was very wild indeed.

Walking to his room he threw his clothes in the clothes hamper and then put his honey bun and his other things on his dresser.

He checked his phone before getting in the shower. Trying to wash off the excitement and the smell of sex.

Soon he dried off and got in his bed. He grabbed his phone and looked to see a text from an unfamiliar number. He then realized it was Courtney.

Courtney: hey this is my number. And we're in the clear btw

Duncan smirked.

Duncan: saved. And told you it was thrilling didn't I princess?

Courtney: yeah yeah shut up. But goodnight.

Duncan: goodnight princess.

He then threw his phone down before laying back. He couldn't help but think if he was in Abrahams's shoes, he would never have sex with anyone else.

—————————————————————————

Duncan woke up the next morning. He yawned as he stretched.

He checked his phone and saw a text message from his mom asking him to come over for dinner.

He wouldn't be annoyed to see his mom but then he realized he'd have to see his dad. Rolling his eyes he threw his phone to the other side of his head before going to the bathroom and brushing his teeth. He didn't have to go to work or anything so his day was completely open.

Sighing he texted his mom he'd be there

—————

Soon it was the evening and he got dressed. He didn't do anything today

Besides relax and stay home. Courtney and he haven't talked since yesterday. He wasn't making a big deal and he definitely wasn't expecting her to text him with casual conversation.

When he finished putting his shoes on he grabbed his keys and headed out the door.

Once he arrived he took a deep breath before getting out of the car and closing it harder than he needed to.

He just wanted to get this over with.

Walking to the front door he raised his hand to knock when the door flew open. An excited older woman who looked to be in her early 50s. She had medium-length black hair and striking teal eyes.

"I'm so happy you're here! Oh, I missed you so much, baby." The woman said pulling her son into a tight embrace.

Duncan chuckled embracing the woman back. "I missed you too ma. How are you?"

The mom pulled away and smiled at her son. "I'm doing great. I have so much to tell you. Come on let's tell the rest of the family that you're here."

Duncan nodded and followed his mom inside.

He saw his two brothers in the living room. "Guess who I finally convinced to come here?" His mom asked her other two sons happily.

Both the brothers looked toward Duncan.

"About time." His older brother Sam said. He had green streaks in his hair but he saw there was now red in his hair. He must've lost another dare with his younger brother Liam.

"Hey, Duncan how long are you gonna stay?" Liam asked now looking back into his phone.

Duncan shrugged. "Probably until I get annoyed or tired and want to go."

"Well, I want you to stay for dinner. I made your favorite. Plus I need to talk to you after dinner." His mom said giving him a stern yet soft look before going to the kitchen.

Soon all three brothers and their mom watched tv while catching up with each other.

Duncan missed seeing his mom. He saw his brothers often since they shared cats. However, his mom was a different story. He hated his dad and he couldn't stand being anywhere near him. His mom was the only thing that made him come back to this house.

Unfortunately, cause if his strong hate he has for his father is why he didn't visit his mom often.

He tries to hang out with her separately which is hard cause of her work schedule. Plus his dad would always invite himself along if he was there.

"So Duncan anything new in your life?" His mom asked making both his brothers look at him.

Duncan shifted awkwardly at the sudden attention

"Nah not really. My friends are throwing Bridgette and Geoff an anniversary party in like 2 weeks. And Steph is in therapy now. But nothing new with me though." Duncan shrugged.

"They need to get married already. You guys are nearly 30." Sam said rolling his eyes.

"Aren't you in your late 30s and still single and lonely?" The youngest brother said sarcastically.

Sam glared at Liam.

"I'm glad that she's getting therapy. I hope she gets better. So what's the therapist like?" His mom said looking at him.

"What do you mean?" Duncan asked then immediately regretted it.

"Like her therapist? Have you met the therapist?"

"Oh yeah sorry right. Yeah, she's cool. Top therapist in the state." He informed her.

"Oh really? Hand me my laptop on the couch, Liam. I wanna see what she looks like." His mom said.

Doing as his mom said she grabbed the laptop and began typing.

"Wow? no thank you?" Liam said sarcastically.

"Thank you, my 16-year-old son." She rolled her eyes.

While she looked Duncan looked up to his older brother. "So when can you change the hair back? I know you hate the colors."

Sam just sighed. "I failed another dare with Liam so I had to get this red shit on my hair on top of the green."

Liam snickered which made Sam glare at him.

"You know you should've stopped betting when I won that one bet last year and made your hair turn green." Duncan snickered along.

"What you think I'm gonna bet actual money? Please. After this hair goes back to normal no more bets."

"I hope not. Cause Duncan strangely can pull off the green. You cannot and red isn't your color." Liam laughed and Sam frowned.

"Oh! Look how gorgeous she is! Look, everyone. She has all the awards and everything." His mom gushed.

They looked and Duncan saw pictures of Courtney at award ceremonies or in the office, along with photos of her on her social media.

"She looks really familiar," Liam said.

"Wait click that picture," Sam said pointing at her picture with her husband.

Her mom clicked it and their eyes filled up with remembrance.

"It's that smoking hot girl from that dinner we had with that one guy," Sam said.

"You've met her and her husband? When?" His mom asked. And Duncan was wondering the same.

"About last year. They lived in this mansion. But I could've sworn she hated her husband." Liam explained.

"Yeah which is why I was trying to make moves on her," Sam replied with a smirk.

Duncan felt really annoyed hearing that but ignored it.

"Like she'd like you," Duncan said rolling his eyes.

"She didn't. I remember her nearly gagging at how horrible his attempts were." Liam said with a taunting smile towards his oldest brother.

"Oh shut up. I would've had her if it wasn't for the fact that I had this stupid stuff in my hair." Sam defended.

"No, you wouldn't." Liam laughed.

"And she's married Sam. really?" His mom said distastefully.

Duncan smirked.

After a while, the conversation changed to Duncan's new apartment. He shrugged. "Pretty cool. Spacious. My neighbor's husband is a duche bag. His wife is pretty... uptight."

"Oh, that sucks. Maybe they'll warm up to you. But have any of you. Except Liam has a wonderful girl in your lives yet to bring here yet? I want grandchildren." His mom said folding her arms.

Duncan thought of Courtney which confused him before shaking his head no.

"Nah," Sam said.

"I'm gonna die before I go to my son's weddings and meet their kids." Their mom said sarcastically rolling her eyes.

Duncan and the other sons laughed.

Suddenly the sound of the door unlocking snapped all three heads to the door.

An older man with black hair walked in. He had ocean blue eyes with his police uniform on.

"Hi, honey! Just in time too, I'm taking the food out in a second, And look who decided to join us, Ricardo." His mom said to her husband. She stood up and went to the kitchen to take the food out.

Ricardo looked over to Duncan but he wasn't looking at him.

"Hey, my sons." His dad said taking off his shoes.

All of them said hi except Duncan. Duncan just got up and followed his mom to the kitchen.

Soon everyone was sitting at the table. The atmosphere was awkward thanks to the tension between Duncan and his dad.

"So I'm thinking about trying out for the debate team? I don't know I think it'd be a pretty good time. That way I can help Sam when he gets divorced from someone that became very unlucky. Also to help Duncan with his businesses." Liam smirked teasingly.

"Oh shut up you ass." Sam rolled his eyes before drinking his water.

"samule guarda la tua lingua!" His mom snapped.

Their dad cleared his throat. "I don't think Duncan needs any help with his business. I heard they were doing well."

"You hear that Duncan?" His mom said happily.

Duncan didn't answer instead he turned to his brother. "Actually I could use your help with people who try to steal from my shops."

Duncan's mom sighed quietly and it seemed the tension got thicker. Duncan's dad's face was unreadable as the three people besides him tried to make a decent conversation.

After dinner, Duncan was getting ready to leave when his mom came over to him. "Hey before you go can I talk to you on the patio?"

"Yeah sure, I was just about to leave," Duncan said before saying bye to his brothers.

He followed his mom to the patio and sat down together on the chairs.

"You know I love you right?" His mom asked grabbing his hand.

Duncan looked at her confused before nodding.

His mom paused trying to find the right words before speaking. "You do know your father loves you too right?"

Duncan confused face went to a flat look. "Ma not tonight." He sighed taking his hand away.

"Duncan I want you to talk to him and at least try to work this out. Please. For me."

He just scoffed. "No. I don't acknowledge him or anything. And it's his fault. I love you mom and only you. I'm not gonna talk to him. I want nothing to do with him. The only reason I'm here is cause of you, Sam, and Liam." Duncan said bluntly before standing up. "I love you ma, but I don't want to talk to him. And I'm hoping you can respect that." Duncan said kissing his mom on the cheek and hugging her.

His mom nodded. "Get home safe okay? And I want to hang out soon. So look out for my text." She said quietly.

"I will. And don't worry I'm sure you won't die before their weddings."

She laughed. "Yeah. probably will die before yours."
