A half hour later,Izuku and Ruby sat outside an interrogation room; Tatsumaki had given Ruby an autograph but refused to have Glynda interrogate the teens even if it is proper protocol.

"They were concerned citizens who intervened when none of our colleagesor cops could. There. Done." The S-Ranker said as she glanced at her nails, wanting to end this.

"Perhaps, but their actions put themselves and others in danger." Glynda retorted. "While I do believe they deserve pats on the back…"

"You so much as think of using that crop on Izuku and I will break you." The shorter woman glared.

"And you're too invested in the boy's case." Glynda realized.

"He's my baby brother. If it was Oscar, you and Ozpin would do the same."

The two telekinetic Quirk users faced off, the station seeming to shake as they glared at each other.

"Sooooo…" The two socially awkward kids said together, then blushing and laughing weakly.

"….So you're the little brother of Tatsumaki and Fubuki?" Ruby asked.

Izuku nodded.

"And the son of Omni-Man and Quatro."

Ruby beamed.

"Oh I love your mom's work! Especially her fights against Merlock and the Weatehr warriors! Your dad is cool too, of course, but your mom seems so nice…"

Izuku beamed, proud of this.

"Wait, you know about Fubuki-nee?" He asked.

"My sister Yang is classmates with her." Ruby admitted.

'Yang.' Oh, now Izuku remembered; the brawler of Class 2A and second longest to come under his sister's 'thrall' after that 'Weiss' girl…And the daughter of a Pro…

Oh. Oh! This meant!

"MY BABY!"

A short plump woman with long dark green hair and a well-built man with a goatee and blonde hair barged in and hugged the two kids.

"Are you okay? You are in so much trouble! But I'm also so proud of…Wait. Inko/Tai?"

The two parents spied each other and smiled at each other.

"Been too long. You're looking goo…Okay, knock off the saying the same thi….My wife/husband…!"

Inko and Taiyang then began to laugh, then returning to hugging their children, who introduced each other. Both parents happily gave the other autographs.

"Aw, how sweet."

Surprised but recomgizing the voice, Inko and Taiyang stopped hugging their youngest to turn around.

Standing behind the assembled group was a small mammal in a suit, smiling warmly and waving happily. This contrasted the scar on his face, but his quiet and sweet voice matched the rest of his aesthetic.

"Am I a mouse, or a dog, or a bear? All that matters is...I am the Principal of UA!"

Glynda sighed, but also smiled

"I take it?"

"Yes. But please, do Ozpin to leave his cookies and cocoa for the children and then GET SOME REST." Nedzu said to Glynda.

"Oh, like you tell Eraserhead?"

"Well yes, but I sign his paycheck." Nedzu smiled. "You have Oz wrapped around your finger."

"Ooooooo!" Tatsumaiki smugly cooed, then recomposing herself when her mother glared at her. The girl then hugged her little brother.

Glynda smiled, but shot the two 'offenders' glares before she left, pushing her husband away from the station.

"Now, you're both probably wondering why I am here..." Nedzu asked, getting nods. "Well, you two interest me: Izuku Midoriya and Ruby Rose: Son of Omni-Man and Qutaro…"

"Don't call him that, he hates that name." Izuku, Inko and Tatsumaki said together.

"And the daughter of Summer Rose and Ryusei." Nedzu continued, seeing Ruby's eyes widen. "Yes, I and Quatro here knew your mother your mother well; one of the kindest souls I've ever known..Somethuing you and this boiy clearly share with her.

"AND THAT LEADS INTO WHY I AM HERE!"

All Might suddenly burst into the room, making Ruby squeal in delight and reach for her autograph book…only to realize Glynda still had it.

"YES, I, ALL MIGHT, WITNESSED YOUR DEEDS TODAY AND WAS MOVED TO INFORM NEDZU OF YOU!" He then lowered his voice. "I also came to apologize Young Midoriya twice today…."

Izuku whimpered in his seat and felt his sister sharing his memory of their encounters with their mother….

"Toshi, it's okay..." Inko said gently before her oldest child spoke up.

"No, it's NOT okay! He's the goddamn #1 Pro Hero of Japan and he says THAT to a kid who's has to deal with assholes crushing his dreams his whole life?!"

CRASH!

Everyone flinched when a tall, muscular figure dropped into the room, leaving a gaping hole in the ceiling. He was clad in a black and green spandex suit with a flowing green cape that had black flame decals on it. He also had white gloves and boots, shaggy black hair, and a five o'clock shadow decorating his face.

This was Hisashi Midoriya, AKA The Virtuous Hero: Omni-Man.

"Tooooshiiiiinooooorrrriiiiii….!" Hisashi growled through his teeth.

"WHOA OKAY! OMNI-MAN IS HERE!" All Might and Ruby said together.

"What's this I hear about my best friend telling my son he couldn't be a hero and then doing nothing when those newbies berated him for doing their job for them?"

"Um, yes…Well, you see…!"

ZOOM!

Where there was once the #1 Hero? There was now a smoky outline in his shape. Hisashi growled and flew outside as her roared:

"GET BACK HERE, YOU MUSCBLEBOUND MORONIC GAIJIN!"

"NO! YOU'LL JUST HIT ME!"

"IT'S THE ONLY WAY YOU LEARN! AND I'LL ONLY KNOCK YOU OUT FOR A DAY!"

"I'D RATHER YOU DIDN'T!"

"WAIT FOR ME, DAD!" Tatsumaki shouted, flying after the two… but not before she zipped over to Tsukauchi. "I want an email listing all the Pros, medical staff and cops at the Sludge villain in my inbox tomorrow morning."

She then zipped after her father as Inko sighed and shook her head before turning to Ruby with a sweet smile.

"Ruby, was it? I know it's a little late, but? Would you and your family like to come over for dinner?"

Taiyang seemed a bit hesitant but knowing that Inko was a trustworthy woman, he allowed his younger daughter to go to the Midoriya household.

"Just let me get Yang."

Yang, it turned out, was Ruby's older sister and the biker who had dropped her off at 'Tusk Til Dawn' while she had been investigating a club…that she promptly leveled and was now in holding for.

Yang was the textbook picture of a blonde bombshell in looks, but she quickly proved she adored her baby sister, applauding Ruby for handing criminals on her own and then swearing to BREAK Roman and his mute accomplice. She was also a very courteous host, helping Inko with setting dinner and regaling Izuku with some of the adventures she and Class 2-A had gotten into…and then teasing the green boiy for being as cute as Fubuki described him.

"Fubuki-nee!" izuku had whined, but all his sister did was whistle and serve everyone some tea.

Just then, Hisashi and Tatsumaki came back, their tempers cooled. Hisashi messed with his son's hair, kissed his wife and hugged his younger daughter before sitting down….and seeing they had company.

"Xialong." Hisashi growled.

"Fire-Spitter." Taiyang growled in kind.

Inko sighed and took a swig of sake.

INHERANT

You see, there was once a time where UA High did not have its famous 'H' shape, No, there was a time when the school resembled the Greco-Roman figure of Atlas holding the globe.

What happened you may ask? Well, the majority of the school was destroyed in a brawl between two students who both wanted the same hero name. It was an entire school day and night before the two boys were pulled apart by their then resepeticve girlfriend and future wife.

In the aftermath, the then current prinicpal of UA took an early retirement and appointed Nedzu his successor.

Those boys grew up to become Omni-Man (AKA Hisashi Midoriya) and Ryusei (Taiyang Xialong). And all these years later, they remained adamant they'd each won the fight and argued over who was the better hero and man in any manner of the word.

INHERANT

Luckily, their grudge didn't carry over to their children; unless you counted Yang being bummed she couldn't tease Izuku:

"I grew up in a 3:2 girl to boy home." Izuku had reminded her when she finally asked why he wasn't admiring her figure and…assets.

"That and Izzy here is a sweet little gentleman." Fubuki smiled sweetly, which scared Yang….who then spied Tatsumaki staring at her chest…only to turn her head and pout:

"No fair….."

Yang smirked, delighted she could tease at least one Midoriya.

"Oh by the way, Izu?" Tatsumaki said. "That blonde moron wants to talk to you tomorrow at that dump beach."

INHERENT

Dagobah Municipal Beach was indeed a dump. While it was long, sandy and had a lovely view and amount of fresh sea water, it had become a dumping site for garbage in later years, no hero stepping in to do anything in to do anything.

Until now.

"You remember my scar?" The skeletal man, Toshinori Yagi asked Izuku. His somber mood was not helped bhy the black eye, split lip and hand in a cast he now wore.

"Hard to forget that." Izuku admitted. "And you say Toxic Chainsaw DIDN'T cause it?"

"Nope. Like I said, this fight was kept off the books as much as it could be." Toshinori explained. "This might seem unrelated, but…when you were 9, do you recall any time when your parents were particularly quiet or acting like they were under some kind of scandal?"

Izuku did in fact remember such a time and nodded. With a sigh, Toshinori then lifted his shirt again, revealing his horrific scar.

"Your father saved me from the villain who did this." He explained. "Your mom also healed me as best as she could when they arrived. That villain, named All For One has been the unknown Symbol of Evil ever since Quirks manifested. And ironically, he's the creator or my very own power."

Izuku's attention rapt, the Pro continued.

"All for One is a strong candidate for the first Quirk user. With the Quirk to take and give Quirks but the mind of an egomaniac, he quickly grew to rule Japan from the shadows and aid other villains to do the same. Now, he had a younger brother, seemingly weak and Quirkless…but the brother did have a power; to give his own energy to someone else. And…well, the details are sketchy to me at the moment, but he created a power that was passed from one to another over the generations, all with the hope of one day coming to someone who could defeat his brother. Eventually, it came to my master, Nana Shimura, who passed it onto me before she died."

'That name sounds familiar…' Izuku mused, but motioned for All Might to continue.

"Five years ago, your parents and I finally cornered and fought him. It was the hardest fight of our lives and with how evil All for One is, not one without cost, no matter how hard we tried to limit the fight. I got my injury shielding civilians who had gotten wrapped up in our fight. Your mother was healing me, All for One moved on the attack…"

He paused.

"And then when he mentioned you and your sisters? Your father snapped. I passed out at that point. All that I know is what your mother told me: your father grabbed All for One and flew away, returning with a bloodstained costume and willing to turn himself in: Apparently, he'd sank an island to make sure the villain didn't come back."

Izuku fell on his behind, shocked to hear this: His father was a protective man, yes, but he was also usually 'dad joke' making, amorous with Inko and living for him, Tastu and Fubuki. To hear he was capable of that?

"I was grateful and a little angry. I had loved my mentor like a mother and had wanted to avenge her. Then again, if anyone had a right to end that man, it would be your mother…"

Before Izuku could inquire what his mentor meant by that, Toshinori recomposed himself.

"As I told you yesterday, I can barely 'go hero' for a few hours. But Japan can't lose its symbol of peace just yet, so I've been looking for a successor. And…after seeing what you did for your classmate and for that Convience store owner? I think you're the perfect match…"

Tears stung Izuku's eyes. He began to mumble happily, maybe even throw up in eleation!

"…In a few months."

Izuku's happiness died and confusion arose.

"You're not ready to take on my power, so you'll clear this beach to build up muscle!" All Might explained. "If I give you my Quirk now, you'll explode!"

Gulping in fear at that, Izuku looked around and began to feel overwhelmed at all the garbage he saw.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Izuku perked up at the familiar jovial laugh and turned to see a navy ship sailing at high speeds toward the beach. Toshinori paled as he easily recognized the owner of that laugh himself.

"Oh. Dear. God. No." He whispered.

Something jumped from the boat and landed on the beach, destroying a fridge. When the dust cleared, there stood a tall, msucualr old man with a stich scar on one side of his face and beaming grin.

"Well, Izuku? Where's my welcome hug?"

"GRANDPA!" Izuku beamed, racing to hug the man, who cackled and returned the hug, not realizing the boy's face was turning green.

"Garp!" An elderly woman with an air authroityu snapped as she too leapt onto the beach, accompanied by s squadron of female Marines and a man in a fedora with a katana at his side. "Let the poor boy breathe!"

Garp let go and the woman helped Izuku to his feet before smiling sweetly and hugging him.

"Hello, my precious grandbaby." The normally stone faced woman cooed. "Kujaku says hello from HQ."

She then spied who her grandson was with

"Oh, hello Toshinori. Finally decided on a successor?"

Toshinori nodded, then shakily pointed to Garp.

"Ah, no need to worry, Toshi! Oobserve my attire!" Garp smirked, pointing to his haiwain shirt, sandals and shorts as he sat onto some of the ruble he'd destroyed, now shaped like a lawn chair. "I am not here on Navy duty. In fact, unless you're my wife, son or grandkids? I am not useful for anything today! Bogard! Why don't you take the afternoon?"

"Sure thing." Garp's right hand saluted both to his friend and said friend's grandson before he leapt into and began kicking/walking on air. "Later kid."

"Hisashi called us." Tsuru explained to All Might. "While I don't doubt your abilities as a Pro? Those rarely carry over into teaching….That and Garp wants to laugh at the Pros who berated our grandson."

Many laughed at that…..save Al Might.

"Oh come on, Toshi!" Garp groaned. "Don't tell me your still on about that! Yeah, I admit I did leave you and Hisashi alone in a Yukon Blizzard, and then again in that uncharted jungle, and then there was the rocket incident…but you turned out fine!"

All Might simply shook in his feet, reliving those memories….

"No wonder mom never trusted him with us…" Izuku mused, Tsuru and her girls nodding in agreement. Just then. Izuku's phone signaled he had a text.

'Still okay for buddy brunch?'

It was from Ruby.

'I think so. Gimme 10 minutes.' He replied with a smile…completyely forgetting eh wasn't alone.

"…Whose Ruby?" Gion asked Izuku, with a smile on her face that was soon shared with her squad.

"The adorable daughter of Summer Rose, who fought alongside young Midioriya against Roman Tourchwick." All Might beamed. "To have a date already? My, my!"

"I-It's not a date!" Izuku assured his grandparents with a smile. "Its just…she likes heroes and weapons just as much as me, well more heroes on my end, and I…yeah, she is very cute but she's also so nice and a breath of fresh from Ka-chan and everyone else…"

As he said this, Izuku felt his exhaustion, sweat odor washing away. He then looked to see his grandmother wiping her hands.

"Not quite what I normally do with my Quirk, but a first impression is a best impression."

"She says when she married me anyways!" Garp cackled.

"I think we have a spare suit." Tsuru smiled, looking at her husband. With a beam, Garp disappeared for a moment before reappearing with a suit he stuffed his grandson into before lifting him.

"So, where ya meeting her?" Garp asked

"G-g-g-g-GARP THE HERO?!"

Everyone turned to see Ruby, a picnic basket and backpack stuffed with comics and hero magazines on her bike clear. She'd been on her way to meet Izuku at Aldera, since her own school was down the street.

She rushed forward and wordlessly asked Garp for his autograph, barely managing to speak.

"Glad to see I still have my fans!" Garp laughed as he wrote his name in Ruby's book, which the girl dropped when she saw Tsuru, who she dashed towards and bowed at.

"G-great Tatician Tsuru?!" Ruby gasped before recomposing herself. "I-I-I-I'm sorry! It's just; your fights against the Donquioite family and taking down of the Neo Marines were brilliant and well, you're my hero! I know its annoying but.."

Another rare smile crossed Tsuru's face and she happily gave Ruby and autograph, thanking her for befrieinding and helping Izuku….before she groaned and shook her head as a disheveled-looking man appeared in a puff of crow feathers.

"Qrow Branwen, I could smell you from the ocean."

"Hello, Tsuru. Glad to see you're still as lovely as ever." The man flirted.

"OY! THAT'S MY WIFE!" Garp snapped, getting intyo Qrow's face.

"Just paying a lady her due." Qrow smirked. "Not that a muscle head like you could get that."

"OOOH! You're sailing for a wailing, ya drunk!" Garp snapped.

"Hey! I'll have you know I'm 4 hours sober! That's a personal best…And careful gramps." Qrow smirked. "Wouldn't want to risk my Quirk activating and mess ya up."

"BAHAHAHA!" Garp cackled. "IF ROCKS, WHITEBEARD, BIG MOM, KAIDO AND ROGER COULDN'T KILL ME, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN?"

"Dunno. Lets find out." Qrow beamed as he reached for his weapon….

"UNCLE QROW!" Ruby beamed, hugging the man. "Hi."

Qrow rose an arm that Ruby remain attached to.

"It's so good to see you! How was your mission? Did you miss me? Did you miss me?"

"….Nope." Qrow smiled, messing with the girl's hair. "Now, why're you not headed at school….and who is the broccoli brat?"

"Q-Q-Q-QROW 'BAD LUCK' BRANWEN!?" Izuku gasped in fanboy mode. "#1 Underground hero in America AND Britian? Rival of bandit queen Raven, fighter of Atlas Ace Winter to a draw and more criminal empires taken down by the time he was 30?"

Qrow smirked.

"I like this one, pipsqeauk." He smirked as he signed Izuku's book. He then grabbed Izuku and whispered. "If you so much as make my niece whimper? They'll never find your body."

He then took a swig from his canteen, messed with Ruby and morphed into a Qrow, taking to the skies.

"Before you all go home, I have a quick announcement to make." Nedzu said at UA one afternoon.

Once he saw his staff were all seated, he began.

"As you all know, All Might will be starting to teach here starting next year. And while originally he was just going to teach Hero studies…"

"Oh great, More pandering." Eraserhead groaned.

"….Aizawa who let you in?" Nedzu asked.

"..Beg pardon?"

"You know your contract: you're supposed to get at least 6 hours of rest after hero patrol before UA matters."

"No, I don't."

"Yes. You do." Nedzu growled. "I sent you the…Ah, right. You never check nyou8r messages. Okay, let me make this clear: Effective yesterday, you're supposed to get at least 6 hours of rest after hero patrol before UA matters. So go home, shower, shave and sleep and do NOT test your luck: I have Emi AND Hitoshi on speed dial."

Mic and Midnight, no longer to hold it, burst into laughter for a good few minutes.

"What you are all about to hear, beyond repeating to Aizawa, is never to leave this room."

He let that hang for a moment before continuing.

"We are indeed a hero school and all of us have the best intentions. Not one of us wants a student that comes through these halls to be anything less than just as good as us." Nedzu began. "But it has come to my attention that several of our comrades have begun to half-ass their work, wait for stronger heroes and risk civilian deaths than think beyond their Quirk."

Again he let that hang for a moment before continuing.

"And our own symbol and newest hire, taking the blunt of the world on himself, has unintentionally caused this. Mostly because he doesn't know how to trust anyone else. If our nation, nay, if society all over is this survive, we cannot allow such a thing to happen again. And it will happen again."

He then sent his staff a folder that displayed in the room through a hologram

"In order to combat this, I have decided to give our symbol his own class of students. A smaller one, considering he's new to teaching and also has to do Heroics class. But each of the students you are seeing have demonstrated kindness, bravery and above all else, selflessness that All Might has shown and encouraged."

Images of 20 students appeared in front of the teachers, all of whose information their future teachers scanned and read.

"Ooooh, I'm looking forward to seeing what these cuties can do~!" Midnight giggled.

INHERANT

Izuku wasn't alone in throwing himself in training from hell.

Learning her new friend came from such a family of heroes had sparked something in Ruby Rose. She'd initially been fine with any hero school, she was planning to go support and try for heroics later.

But now that she knew and was friends with Omni-man and Quatro's son? The first person just as awkward and hero loving as her? She needed to go to UA.

So, Ruby started to triple down on studying, follow along with her sister and father's katas and re-watch and re-plan out every hero scenario she knew of.

She even stopped indulging in her favorite snack, only having a cookie when she aced a test or finally got a new move down.

Before that night at 'From Dust Til Dawn', Ruby had been barely passing. Now she was shooting through the academic ranks of her school. And people noticed.

"Sum? You'd be so proud." Tai and Qrow had said together at different points.

Snipe had swung by her school and was prepping to write up a recommendation.

Yang, already doting of Ruby, was so damn proud of her baby sister she began hunker down and better herself, which Fubuki and the other second going on third years saw and followed in.

So, when Fubuki realized the cause of this, she messed with her sleeping brother's hair, kissed him and drapped her in her prized fur coat.

And then, one day a week or two later, when Izuku was starting to think he'd never be ready?

It happened.

He had been moving trash, half tuning out Toshinori's cheers and emnjoyoing the dawn in a state of sleep depravity, when Izuku tripped on several cords that had wrapped together.

Annoyed and having had enough, Izuku leapt back to his feet and grabbed an oven, flinging it away with all his might.

Upwards,

Into the sky.

Past the sun.

Into space.

It never came back down.

No one moved for a moment, not sure if what they saw was real or not,

Izuku was the first to recover and spied a totaled over truck. He took a breath and put his hands underneath…only to find that when he lifted up the truck, it weighed the same as a comic book.

Izuku then began to pick up more and more objects, the ones he thought would be heavy. But none of them where what he expected; all of them were light! Even throwning them into space didn't take anything out of him!

And to top it all off, while he didn't realize it, Izuku had been floating the whole time.

"WOHOOO!" Hisashi beamed. "My boys' powers came in! My boy's powers came in! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Suck it, Enji! HPSC, Sakazuki and the rest of you! MY! BOY'S! POWERS! CAME! IN! YAHOOOO!"

Toshinori and Izuku both cackled in maddened happiness.

"Eat this!"

..

….

….

"…Eh?" Izuku asked.

"Well, to inheroit my power, you need to swallow something with my DNA. It was either this or a drop of blood."

"Or a nail clip." Hisashi added. "Or pee in a cup."

Toshinori and Izuku irked and gagged at those suiggestions and the boy grabbed the hair.

"Wait…did you gel it?" He asked

"HA! I haven't gelled in years!" Toshinori beamed,

"Oh yeah, that fight with the crazy stylist with David." Hisashi regaled.

Izuku stared at the hair for a minute, gulping and feeling a cold sweat down his brow. If what his idol told him was true, by eating this, he'd become a GOD among men! He'd finally be able to become a hero, no doubt…

But why should he get this chance? Surely there was someone else who…

A finger flick to his head brought him out of it and he saw his father shaking a finger at him

"No. Nuh uh. None of that.": Hisashi playfully chatsized his son. "You WORKED for this power. You have the HEART for this power. Toshi wants YOU to have it. Besides, worrying this much about it proves how seriously you're taking this."

"And that is the greatest sign of a hero." Tohsinori smiled.

His confidence restored, and in thanks to his father and idol, Izuku took a deep breath, lifted the hair upwards and swallowed it whole.

GULP!

….

….

"…I don't feel anything." Izuku announced.

"Your body is probably adapting itself to the Quirk it, probably. Give it…" he checked his watch. "Now and a night."

Izuku would've asked his father what he meant before feeling his body tense, shoot skywards and zigzag before crashing onto the sand, his mind going blank….

"You do realize this means you have to explain this to Inko, righty?" All Might smirked, delighting in the worried look on Hisashi's face.

MHA

When he opened his eyes, Izuku found himself in a room he'd never seen before. At least, he assumed this was a room; there was a grey, stony floor at his feet, but no ceiling.

There was a weird 'woosh' through the air as he glanced around, finally seeing he wasn't alone: In this room there were seven people and what looked like a humanoid flame.

"So, you're the Ninth...it's a pleasure to meet you." A sickly-looking lanky young man with snow-white hair greeted the verdant-haired boy with a warm smile.

To be continued…

Mrotrax AN:

Glad to see this story getting interest and so many good reviews, hope to see more of you coming back for more4.

The Garp, Tsuru and Hisashi's involvement in All Might All for One's battles is recylcyed from another story Knightmare Lord and I started byut then lost the will for; 'the Righteous Devil Hero.'

Thoughts on RWBY'S Tai being on par with Garp and being rivals with Hisashi? That's sure to add some comedy and drama.
