So it took 2 days for Inko, and Izuku to get ready for the move in there lives. And now with Tetsuo, and Kikuno's help along with a hand from Fuuka, Mitsuru and there friends, there ready for the two to move in with the Kirijos. First they seen the apartment the Midoriyas lived in, and feels it's comfy but can be hard at times.
Of course when they seen Izuku's room it surprised them to see how much All Might themed he is. Posters, figurines, and even the comforter is modeled after the legendary hero to the point to where Izuku made his room a shrine for All Might. Izuku turned a big deal of red when they founded out about it.
But after it they entered the Kirijo Residence, and get things situated for there situation where Izuku, and Inko takes over both guest rooms they been living in for there own rooms. And on the topic of Inko's job promotion that Fuuka, and Mitsuru promised they faced some... complications.
Flashback...
"No Miss Kirijo, Midoriya can't get a promotion." the head doctor in charge was looking from his desk over at the two Kirijo Matriarchs to argue, and protest over Inko's promised promotion. Inko had stated before that the head physician which is him is Quirkist, and looks down on the Quirkless, and along with being a single mother he pulled back all thoughts of promotion, and wants to keep it that way but they wanted to see if they can convince him without any form of termination of employment however they find that difficult with this man's case despite that Mitsuru's his boss (well the boss of his boss). "I just don't think she is qualified to what you two are describing her towards. She'll be a liability in the workplace."
"I understand your concern, however I'll be the judge of that myself. I trust you have her medical reports and documentation on her performance here?" Mitsuru inquired looking at him with an icy stare. "It would be very... disappointing if I found you weren't keep an accurate record of your own employees after all."
"W-Well yes I do... but her performance isn't really all that grand... not enough for a promotion." the head doctor stated over to try coming up with a good enough lie over to have the two accept the dismissal of a promotion, and keep Inko barely being paid enough.
"Perhaps we can see for ourselves? If you're right you wouldn't have anything to hide." Fuuka pointed out. "You wouldn't lie to us would you?"
"No, no of course not. But really, you don't want to waste your time with someone like her." the head doctor assured her raising his hands in a desperate attempt to keep them from seeing Inko's promising performances, and finding out he's not giving her any promotions or raises.
But the two didn't missed when he said 'someone like her'.
"Someone like her?" Mitsuru repeated closing her eyes. "Do you mean a single mother working hard to support her child, or were you referring to how her son is quirkless?"
"Eh, excuse me?" Caught off-guard by that question he only asked Mitsuru what he just said.
"I've met Mrs. Midoriya and her son Izuku so I'm familiar with her situation. Now, I'm going to ask again to see her reports and other documentation to see if your treatment of her is justified... Quirk or no quirk, I judge individuals on their work ethic and that includes her." Mitsuru told him simply before extending her hand. "Now, Inko Midoriya's files if you don't mind."
The head doctor looked nervous before then sighing handing over a folder from the shelf behind him deciding to just bite the bullet. Taking it Mitsuru opened it so that she and Fuuka could look at it together.
They check over where despite what the head doctor told over to them Inko's performance is more then enough for a raise to where she place up all nighters of paperwork, did her best to help out other physicians, and did some big overtime to try earning enough money to get by with her, and Izuku. But despite it she never once gotten promoted, gotten a raise, and is frequently overworked and underpaid which would explain her unbalanced diet when they met at the hospital when Tetsuo gotten admitted in. And they also see she never once complained about it.
"I'm surprised, it seems Mrs. Midoriya is doing far more than she should be given this. I think she's more than qualified to work personally with us." Fuuka mentioned as she looked up at the head doctor. "That is, if you afford to let such a... what was it? A "Waste of time" leave your practice?"
The head doctor sighed at this before stating over. "Then by means take her with you but you two are making a colossal mistake to give her the time of day. Siring a Quirkless Brat, and then not leaving him to fend for himself when she had the chance as she felt sorry for him. But I think she's biding her time to getting enough money to escape from that mistake, and I intend to punish her but giving her little cash as possible to remind her she sired with a failure which is probably why her husband up, and died."
Knowing what was about to happen Mitsuru simply turned to Fuuka and gave her a nod that she could let loose on this bigoted doctor.
She take a step back to give some space as the head doctor noticing the silence turned over only to freeze seeing Fuuka's outraged look. "Uh Miss Kirijo-?"
"Izuku Midoriya is anything but a quirkless brat! You know full well that our son Tetsuo is also quirkless and we will not have anyone "Fend for themselves" because of disgusting bigoted people like you! Mr. Midoriya left yes, but in spite of that and being a single mother Mrs. Midoriya is doing everything she can to raise her son to be a wonderful person!" Fuuka snapped angrily as she slammed her hands on the desk. "You are going to get every single cent you owe her and pay her all of it right now, and then she'll be leaving your employees and if you ever treat someone like that again I will personally see to it that your life is ruined! Are we clear?"
"Y-You aren't... you aren't going to make me jobless?" the head doctor nervously asked over which isn't the answer, and Fuuka isn't in the mood to answer that one.
"Are? We? Clear?" Fuuka repeated icily.
The head doctor whimpered over feverishly nodding. "C-Crystal clear ma'am! I promise!"
"Good." Fuuka told him. "Then you can keep your job here, but we'll be paying close attention from now on."
Mitsuru couldn't help but smile at that. "Well, if that's all we'll be on our way."
"Y-Yes ma'am." the head doctor scarely nodded over as the two walked out only for him to sigh loudly. "I shouldn't be dealing with shit like this..."
Outside the room the two exited out as Mitsuru turned to Fuuka, and softly smiled. "You know Fuuka... sometimes you frighten me when your angry." That is true cause Fuuka has a great temper to while she's a sweet, and kind girl her angry is really frightening to even some people who don't get intimidated easily. Mitsuru's own anger is horrifying but some people voted Fuuka's own wrath is even scarier.
"Oh, I didn't mean to scare you Mitsuru." Fuuka apologized hugging her. "I just..."
"You get emotional about things that mean a lot to you, it's one of the things I find so endearing." Mitsuru smiled kissing her softly. "Come on, we can let Inko Midoriya know the good news."
Fuuka nodded as they both walked out back to the Kirijo Residence.
Flashback End...
After they returned they informed Inko about it, and hearing that she was stunned to say the least, and suddenly gotten a call from the bank that a settleman of money from her job was added to her account from the head doctor docking her pay cause of his beliefs. It was about 300,000 yen which is roughly 2126.78 in the US. From all the overtime, and all nighters it was bound for her to get such a large amount like that.
Meanwhile Tetsuo, and Izuku had been trying to get along well while Tetsuo shares his belief in heroes with Izuku along with letting them know of his 'Hero Analysis of the Future' notebooks which they find Quirks in painstaking detail. It was there that Izuku then got the idea to try getting the Quirks of the Persona Users to find what they can do when they remembered his excitement when he founded out Haru's Quirk at Tea Leaves.
Now it was sometime after the move where Kikuno who is awake early as a maid for the Kirijos walking to prepare breakfast only to be surprised Inko is already awake, and is preparing it already.
"Mrs. Midoriya? What are you doing?" Kikuno inquired seeing that.
Overhearing her Inko turned over noticing her. "Oh. Miss Kikuno was it?" She smiled over to her. "Just fixing up some breakfast for today."
"You don't have to do that." Kikuno mentioned walking over to her. "I can handle the cooking."
Inko frowned over nodding. "Yes I understand that but I don't want to laze around the house all day. Besides making breakfast just became a habit of mine."
"Well, at least permit me to assist you." Kikuno offered. "It's the least I can do."
Inko smiled nodding over. "I'd appreciate that, thank you." Kikuno smiled back as they prepared the rest.
Soon Mitsuru, Fuuka, Tetsuo, and Izuku walked in the kitchen which Fuuka blinked seeing Inko in the kitchen. "Miss Midoriya?"
"Oh please call me Inko." Inko smiled over to her. "Just gotten up for breakfast. Miss Kikuno just helped me finish things up here."
"You're a guest, you don't have to do chores for us." Fuuka pointed out to her.
"Well yes but as we're living together I'm hardly a guest since I'm technically a roommate with you now." Inko said over towards her. "Me making breakfast for my little Izuku has became a habit at this point."
"Well I'm glad. Could be the time for Kikuno to get some rest. She works hard but I worry about her working herself ragged." Tetsuo admitted over with a small smile. "I mean I tried helping before but I ended up making a bigger mess of myself." Well the times he tried helping Kikuno with chores it ended up where he burned breakfast, cut himself with a knife on chopping things, accidentally using bleach on a load of clothes, and other things. It took a lot of convincing from both his mothers to let Kikuno handle the chores herself though they had been meaning to get some workload off of her.
"Not everyone's cut out for those tasks." Mitsuru chuckled softly before turning to Izuku with an almost teasing smile. "Now, how did you sleep? I apologize for the lack of... All Might decor in your guest room."
Izuku blushed a bit from the reminder. "I-It was great M-Miss Kirijo..."
"That's good to hear." Mitsuru smiled as they sat down. "Now, there's something I believe you wanted to ask us while your mother and Kikuno finish preparing breakfast?"
"W-Well uh... I believe a burning one is that... Y-you know... Best Jeanist?" Izuku asked over since in the midst of all the confusion no-one asked over how did the Fiber Hero, and the Kirijo CEO knew each other.
"Oh well... he was a classmate of ours back in high school." Fuuka admitted over. "We didn't have any hero courses over at Tatsumi Port Island at Gekkoukan High so he didn't start training until later in the year... I think it was you, and Akihiko-senpai's Freshman or Sophomore year that you met him, and he moved away to head into U.A. first at the General Department to be in the Hero Course?"
"That's right." Mitsuru smiled at the memory.
"So... how... how did you meet him?"
"Well as explained before we're classmates." Mitsuru explained over. "Believe it or not he didn't want to be a hero at first. Mostly due to lots of people flaunting there uses." She then softly smiled. "But after I seen him use his Quirk to stop some students who are getting too enjoyable in there ways, I recommended him to U.A. so he can hone his skills. I told him personally he can be the hero he wants to be rather then as people think so he decided to became a hero, and be the type he wants to be."
"Oh yeah he takes his hero work real seriously." Tetsuo despite little interaction was told Best Jeanist rescued him from anymore damage he would've taken from Bakugo, and gave no tolerance over not flaunting over his Quirk's power. He also read in some reports Best Jeanist is the Number 4 hero, and with good reason based on the type of person he is.
"I agree, he's a good person and hopefully he moves up to number three one day." Fuuka smiled.
That made some others smiled before Inko finishing up turned over. "Well Mitsuru, I have something I want to ask myself. It's about these 'Personas' you had shown us during the meeting."
"Of course, I had a feeling you'd have questions." Mitsuru nodded at that closing her eyes. "What would you like to know?"
"Well... what kind of purpose do they serve?" Inko asked her. "Cause from the looks of things they don't seem to be the type to fight." She then blinked over her words quickly correcting. "I mean, fight villains at least you get the point."
"Actually, they're more than capable of fighting and more." Mitsuru answered. "Well, most of them. Fuuka's Persona is more skilled with support but mine is very much capable of combat."
Fuuka nodded over before Tetsuo gulped. "But if you want to know there real purpose, it's to help us fight the Shadows."
"The Shadows?" Inko blinked hearing that. "What are these 'Shadows'?"
"That's a very good question, but to put it simply there are multiple kinds. The vast majority of Shadows are the suppressed desires of humanity or residents of our own collective unconscious." Mitsuru answered calmly. "They can periodically enter our world through a variety of methods and can be extremely violent towards people. They can gather in specific locations or are drawn to people with strong desires for example."
Izuku gulped over nervous at this. "Well I... I never heard of anything like them..."
"Well that be expected... there mostly taken care of in secret." Tetsuo admitted over. "The Shadows don't exist in this world most of the time, they exist in different worlds. Like for example... would you two believe me if we say there are actually 25 hours in a day?"
"No." Izuku answered immediately.
"I'm not surprised by that reaction." Mitsuru chuckled as though remembering something amusing. "And Tetsuo there aren't 25 hours in a day any longer."
Tetsuo softly nodded with a smile while Fuuka explained. "Well this hidden hour is known as the Dark Hour which manifests whenever the clock strikes midnight. During the Dark Hour, the sky turns green, people turn into coffins, and the Shadows attack anyone not in a coffin. Only those who have the potential can be active during the Dark Hour. That is us, Persona Users."
"But the Dark Hour has been destroyed for years now. But as we later founded out, that isn't the only world where Shadows exist in." Mitsuru admitted over. "There existed 2 current others. A world which you can center through a TV, or by going into the cognition into one's psyche, the Metaverse."
"So these Shadows exist within two worlds to where as explained by Mitsuru-san there the suppressed human desires of humanity which the reason why there so violent is probably cause those same people have evil or nefarious goals in mind to where they attack anyone they see on sight, and it makes sense that these Personas can be the defense needed as from what I know so far Persona, and Shadow are like the mask, and unmask versions of themselves where personas shows the personality of others while shadows show there true self in life, and these different worlds allow them to see the true self within ones self, and after seeing Kacchan attacking Tetsuo-san's Persona he appeared to look damaged which can mean the Persona is linked to him in some way so if destroyed can have severe consequences and-"
"Izuku?"
"Yeah?" Izuku stopped his deduction looking over seeing shocked looks from the Kirijos, and Kikuno while Inko sweat drops but has a smile. Quickly realizing what's going on he blushed deep. "Uh... did I ramble again? Sorry it's a bad habit."
"It's quite alright, I'm glad to see you have such a contemplative mind." Mitsuru reassured him. "Feel free to ask whatever you'd like."
"But man Izuku... you understood a lot about both Personas, and the Shadows more then we thought." Tetsuo admitted over to him. "It was all Greek to me when Mom, and Mamagishi first told me."
Izuku blushed deep rubbing his head. "Well uh... I kinda get it from what you guys explained..."
"That's a sign of a potentially great hero." Fuuka smiled. "Being able to figure things out so quickly."
Inko looked over. "So... if what Izuku theorized is true these Personas, and Shadows are the same thing?"
"They are." Mitsuru nodded. "A Persona is in a sense a controlled Shadow in a manner of speaking."
"And it somehow was involved in Tetsuo getting hospitalized?"
"Well... a Persona is linked to it's user's soul." Fuuka admitted over. "When it gets damaged some mental pain is inflicted onto the mind. Destroying it... would kill the user."
"K-Kill them...?" Izuku does get that damaging a Persona would have disastrous aftereffects but if it's destroyed it would also cause brain death to the user.
"That's the same for a Shadow. In the Phantom Thieves' line of work, the locations where top Shadows called Palace Rulers roam, they have to avoid killing the Shadow unless it would cause a mental shutdown as Shadows are the suppressed desires of humanity, and killing those desires would cause death of the brain." Mitsuru added over toward them. "Other Shadows such as the lesser ones don't follow the same example. If they are destroyed, they reform within time at the collective unconscious."
"But... these Shadows can't be here right? Only in those worlds?" Inko asked nervous at the thought of dealing with things like them as there what Personas have to fight.
"The worlds are intrinsically connected to ours, and if you have the potential you'll have to enter them and fight the Shadows just like we do." Mitsuru answered.
"But... there is a time that Shadows threatened to leak over to our world." Tetsuo admitted over. "And until a few days ago we were unsure we use Personas outside of those worlds. My awakening could mean that the Shadows at some point will manifest here to the real world so we need to prepare all we can to stop the Shadows if they cross over."
"When will that be?" Izuku couldn't help asking nervous.
"There's no way of knowing, that's part of there reason Rise-chan, and Futaba-chan are here... the three of us have the ability to detect Shadows." Fuuka explained.
"And... you guys think Izuku is able to use one?"
"Honestly? I don't know." Mitsuru admitted over to Inko. "But if he, and Tetsuo are gonna be training then us, and the others you seen at the meeting will be there to help them prepare to use there Personas, or be ready for U.A. All of us including Best Jeanist."
"It's entirely your choice though Izuku." Fuuka told him softly.
Izuku blinked seeing the decision is made onto him as they looked over. This is a big decision on his part, and although he lacks a Quirk, he has a sharp mind, and believe he can probably use a Persona. Looking at Tetsuo he can see his potentially as a hero with a Persona, and despite the risks they have when using one he's willing to become a Hero one way or another.
So with a gulp he raised up bowing. "I-I'd be honored, t-to train under you."
Hearing that Mitsuru turned to Kikuno as she nodded before leaving the room. "Then, we just need to see if you have the potential."
Izuku softly nodded gulping figuring he's ready.
"Actually before then, I want to ask you two one more question... in private." Inko admitted over to both the Kirijo Matriarchs.
Hearing that they exchanged a glance before nodding.
"We'll be back soon." Mitsuru told them. "Tetsuo, don't say anything until we get back."
"Yes mom." Tetsuo nodded with a smile.
The adults walked out of the kitchen to talk to themselves.
"What's on your mind?" Mitsuru asked Inko calmly.
Inko takes a breath before looking over. "Well... I don't mean to pry on your personal life but... can you tell me why you adopted Tetsuo?"
"That's... a long story." Fuuka admitted closing her eyes.
"Well we will tell you some simple info." Mitsuru admitted over.
Flashback...
Mitsuru: Well you see me, and Fuuka were newly wedded, and we were on our honeymoon here in Musutafu as it's Fuuka's hometown. We were seeing over where she gives me a tour of the town along with the famous U.A. High School, the school where All Might himself went too.
Fuuka: Nothing uneventful happened. At least not by villain attacks, or heroes saving people. It was all normal on all our part. Until we seen him...
(Cue Theme: Hurry! We Are In Danger! from DQ8)
Mitsuru, and Fuuka were walking passed what looks like a big housefire over with heroes, and firemen working to rescue to civilians, and putting out the fires. Mitsuru's Quirk while strong isn't powerful enough to help out, and she didn't have a license so she didn't want to get slapped with a fine. So they were gonna walk off to let the professionals handle it until they hear someone arguing.
"But sir that little girl is still in there!"
Overhearing it they looked seeing a nurse (probably to the building) begging an officer over to something. "She can't move on her own! She needs to get out now!"
"Stay put miss. The heroes are doing all they can to help everyone." the officer assured her though the two Kirijo Matriarchs noticed some of the heroes are standing by not doing anything despite this being there job. "This is a big fire so we need to be really careful."
"But she needs someone to help her move!"
"I'm sorry but we can't do anything until these fires clear up." Some adults near them gave sneers at the nurse with some children close to them.
Frowning at that Mitsuru turned. "Yamagishi, where is the girl she mentioned?"
Closing her eyes to focus on her quirk Fuuka tried to locate the girl before noticing one of the heroes was on his phone... playing a GAME when this is going on! Widening her eyes she just about snapped until they hear someone yell out. "Oh screw this!"
Looking over they see a black haired boy running to the burning building passed the heroes, and officers surprising them.
"Tetsuo! Wait it's too dangerous!" the nurse called back to him reaching her arm out.
He turned back looking serious. "I'm not gonna stand back, and let her be in danger!" He ran in the burning building at that.
The nurse moved to try chasing him only for one of the adults to state over. "Leave him Nakamura." She turned to him as he stated coldly. "If that Quirkless brat wants to die then let him, that'll be one less problem for us."
"What did you say, you're ok with someone dying?" Mitsuru questioned coldly.
"He's Quirkless why should we care?" the man stated over nonchalantly not realizing who he's talking too. "You don't have a Quirk your nothing, that's what this world is about, means he's nothing special."
Suddenly the man felt something poking against his neck. "I beg to differ."
He turned around at this. Mitsuru had drawn her rapier and was pointing it at him just barely pressing against his neck. "Having a quirk or not does not change someone's worth as a human being... if having a quirk makes you superior than why not serve as a role model for children like... Tetsuo was it? Instead my wife and I see Heroes playing on their phones instead of aiding a poor girl trapped in a burning building."
"W-What the hell...?" the man asked shocked seeing the weapon close to him enough to strike a vital point.
While inside Tetsuo coughed calling around. "Skyla! Skyla! Where are you!?"
"Right *cough* right here!"
Hearing the voice he ran barging into a room seeing a girl trapped under a beam with a crutch beside her. "T-Tetsuo..."
"Don't worry I'll get you out!" Running over Tetsuo grabbed the beam, and despite some trouble pulled it up, and set it down where it's not on Skyla, and knelled down. "Can you get up?"
"No... my ankle's still busted." Skyla admitted coughing as he sees her crutch is broken in half.
Tetsuo didn't hesitate for her next move reaching down, and wraps her arm around his shoulders. "Come on... we're getting out of here together..." Skyla looked at him stunned before stared crying nodding as Tetsuo carefully moved fast away from the weakening building while making sure Skyla is with him. Soon he moved exiting the building together with her.
"I... I got her!" Tetsuo called over catching some officer's attention as they widen there eyes running over, and carefully takes Skyla from him to check her over.
"Oh Skyla!" the nurse went over to her shocked before turning to Tetsuo with slight tears. "Tetsuo... thank you..."
Tetsuo softly smiled nodding over before a hand takes his shoulder where a hero was behind him.
After a minute to while the man is being questioned by the police Mitsuru, and Fuuka notices something appalling nearby with Tetsuo. Instead of telling Tetsuo there proud of his bravery, and rescuing Skyla the heroes are instead infuriated scolding him over including the one on his phone.
"What were you thinking you little kid!?"
"There was absolutely no reason for you to throw yourself in like that!"
"Your only being a liability if you throw yourself in like that!"
"B-But... she was in danger-" Tetsuo tried to point out with tears in his eyes for being yelled at harshly for what he thought was a good thing for saving a life.
"That's not an excuse to carelessly throwing your life like that!"
"You trying to get yourself killed or something!?"
"SHUT UP!" Fuuka shouted at the Heroes.
Overhearing her everyone else turned over, the heroes, Tetsuo, police, the nurse, Skyla, everyone towards her.
"What kind of sick, disgusting people are you!?" Fuuka shouted glaring at the Heroes. "There was a girl trapped in a burning building and this young man, who is quirkless apparently, risked his life to safe her life and instead of helping in any way you were playing a game on your phone!"
She took a step forward as she started shaking in anger.
"You all don't deserve to be called heroes, none of you! There was only one hero today and you're insulting him!? Sick, just absolutely sick!"
"Ma'am this is a really delicate case we didn't have the right Quirks for-" one hero tried to argue over.
"What quirks would that be?" Mitsuru questioned stepping forward. "I somehow doubt Tetsuo who has no quirk at all would have the correct one to rescue a trapped young girl from a burning building. Or is it that you like so many others don't care about the lives of those without quirks that you prefer to see them perish? I assume had the victim possessed an impressive quirk you would have risked your life to get her to safety?"
"None of us have the right power to do anything, we were bad matchups." one other hero explained over to take control of the situation. "Things ended without a casualty today but it is always not the case for people like him to throw himself in. And the fact he's Quirkless makes him more of a liability."
Tetsuo started crying at this having grown to believe heroes are suppose to help, and save people, and when he finally had a chance to do one the heroes are chewing him out for it.
"What quirks do you all have then?" Mitsuru questioned glaring at them as the area started cooling down and small ice crystals formed on her hands.
Easily intimidated one hero voiced over. "Well I... I can control winds."
"Mine allows to slow down time."
"And I can swing to places."
"So... none of us were able to put out fires or rescue civilians here. We were bad choices for fires like these." the first hero stated over figuring by telling them what they do they drop it but they have other ideas cause the powers they have are able to do the exact opposite if used right.
"You three could have easily rescued anyone trapped inside." Fuuka told them. "Controlling the winds means even if you can't put out the fire you an direct the flames, slowing down time gives you more time to find and get someone out safely, and swinging to places... you could get out through a window and avoid having to go through the flames more than maybe one time at most. You're all just lazy!"
"Lazy?" the second hero asked shocked to hear that.
"And that's not even counting you were on your phone."
The third hero winced at being caught on what he was doing before to where now two woman chewed up the heroes for not doing there job. Meanwhile Tetsuo stood up tears down his cheeks but in awe at seeing these two giving these heroes a piece of there minds. That's when one of the heroes recognized Mitsuru.
"W-Wait... Mitsuru Kirijo?" one of them asked looking horrified. "W-What are you doing here?"
"I'm here with my wife." Mitsuru answered turning to Fuuka with a smile. "Fuuka, I just had a thought."
Fuuka turned over before smiling back before they turned to Tetsuo who blinked at catching there attention suddenly, and looks real nervous.
"Young man, could you come here?" Mitsuru asked.
Gulping Tetsuo stepped over really nervous until he's in front of them. Mitsuru knelt down gently. "That was a very brave and heroic thing you did, your parents must be proud."
Tetsuo frowned looking down. "I... I don't have any parents. I've been an orphan all my life..." That shocked the two as he looked at the burned building. "This place... was an orphanage... where I was staying..."
"Mitsuru..." Fuuka whispered.
"I was thinking the same thing." Mitsuru smiled. "Well Tetsuo, I have an offer for you."
Confused Tetsuo turned over to them.
"How would you and Skyla... like to be our children?" Fuuka smiled. "Tetsuo, and Skyla Kirijo."
Tetsuo looked shocked at this. "What? You... want to take me... someone who's Quirkless in...?" He starts having tears in his eyes.
"Of course, it doesn't matter if you have a quirk or not." Mitsuru reassured him gently. "That is, if you don't mind having two mothers and a sister."
Tetsuo cried more before nodding as they turned to walk.
"Hey I wasn't done talking to you!" the first hero called out to Tetsuo still having some more scolding to do to him not caring for Mitsuru only for a hand to talk his shoulder as he turned, and looked stunned seeing a familiar smile (or frown) behind him.
"There right you now." All Might himself is there.
Meanwhile the three walked where the nurse is checking over Skyla before she smiled. "Well... your ankle isn't badly damaged further."
"Thanks." Skyla smiled before noticing them. "Oh hi Tetsuo." She then blinked. "Oh who are they?"
"My name is Mitsuru Kirijo, and this is my wife Fuuka." Mitsuru answered kneeling down. "Your name's Skyla?"
"Yes that's me." Skyla nodded over. "Well... Skyla Nakamura sometime soon." She smiled over to the nurse. "Cause the nurse is gonna adopt me soon."
The nurse smiled over rubbing her head. "I shouldn't hold back my personal feelings for you anymore after I nearly lost you. Just as soon as we manage we can get the adoption finalized Skyla. Assuming that awful orphanage doesn't come back."
Skyla nodded over.
"Oh, well then I wish you the best of luck." Mitsuru nodded calmly. "My wife and I are planning on adopting Tetsuo ourselves."
"Well I wish you two luck. Despite what that man, and the others told him he has a good head on his shoulders." the nurse smiled over to them. "But please make sure he's ready the next time he charges in like that." She isn't saying that to be like the heroes earlier just stating Tetsuo should be more careful out of concern.
"You don't have to worry, we'll make sure he's ready should the situation come up." Fuuka promised the nurse.
She nodded as the screen rose up.
Mitsuru: So after that we sued the orphanage for what Tetsuo had told us, and what we learned. Skyla, and her new mother moved out to start a new life but we're making sure to stay in contact with them.
Fuuka: We also reported those three heroes with All Might's help, and there getting remedial classes to get themselves truly ready to be heroes.
Flashback End...
"And that's the story."
Inko was crying from hearing of Tetsuo's heroic deed. "You... you two must be so proud of him."
"More than you know, though... he is still a bit reckless." Mitsuru admitted sighing. "Right now though, it's your son we need to speak with."
Inko wiped her eyes over nodding. Some guilt she is feeling is there after hearing the story but decides to say it another time. Walking over they see Kikuno had arrived with Tetsuo, and Izuku at the table while a suitcase having an Evoker was in front of Izuku.
"Are you prepared?" Mitsuru asked Izuku. "If you are, you know what to do."
Izuku softly nodded standing up slowly taking the Evoker as it trembled in his hand. He looked over. "W-What... what would happen if it f-fails?"
Mitsuru, Fuuka, and Kikuno all stayed silent not answering his question. From that it's bad. But still... Izuku has to try looking at the Evoker. "So... doesn't matter how it's done... as long as it's... to the head..."
Inko had to suppress the urge to move as Izuku slowly raised it to his head, and his hand trembled from this feeling over. He kept like this for a few seconds before he said out. "Per... so... na."
Then he pulled the trigger.
BAM!
Just then blue fragments started to build all around him.
"I am thou... thou art I... from the sea of thy soul I come..." stated a voice he recognized but also had never heard before.
Izuku looked around stunned at the blue fragments before sensing something, and turned around widening his eyes.
What was above him was a warrior. Wearing red armor was a young man with a headband with a symbol while he holds a three spike spear. It twirled the spear as he called. "I am Yukimura Sanada, Samurai of the Takeda!"
His eyes widened seeing Yukimura before he faded and Izuku suddenly felt intense exhaustion.
"Ah..." he dropped down which Tetsuo caught him as he smiled. "Well Izuku... you have the potential after all. Awakening can drain ya so let's have you get some rest for now."
"You should rest for another reason... the trial is tomorrow." Kikuno pointed out. "Against Aldera Middle School."
They nodded over before moving to his room to rest.
"So... what that happens... how long will they recover?" Inko asked the two.
"Considering he didn't have to fight he should be fine in a few hours." Mitsuru answered before looking down slightly as Fuuka embraced her.
Inko blinked noticing that. "What's wrong?"
"A friend of ours, Minako... she awoke but had to fight immediately and was out cold for days." Fuuka answered sadly.
"Oh... the girl you said that saved us all." Inko frowned over. "I'm sorry for your loss."
"Thank you." Mitsuru nodded softly.
So the next day they all met at the Trial where they see the Principal, and Homeroom Teacher with a lawyer who doesn't look impressive against them with a good lawyer. The bailiff called over. "Please rise for the honorable Judge Strickland presiding." They all stand up as the judge went up.
"You may all sit." they all sat down. "Now what's the case here?"
"Kirijo Group vs Aldera Middle School. Defendant is pleading not guilty on accounts of the Kirijo Group overreacting." one of the court officers explained over to him.
"Very well? State?" the judge looked over to Mitsuru for her response.
"Your honor, we have detected that Aldera Middle School has a list of numerous crimes with the most often ones being child endangerment, sabotage, and discrimination. When my son attended, he let us know through a phone call."
"Do you have what he told you now?"
Mitsuru nodding pulling out her phone for the bailiff to take as he turned it on the speaker to where they hear Tetsuo's voice describing the actions.
"Bad. Thinking maybe my choice isn't a good idea after all... Everywhere was someone commenting on me being Quirkless... The teacher told the class I was Quirkless, and called out Midoriya for me to sit beside him. Midoriya doesn't really seem like the type of person we're told he looked to be a complete cinnamon roll, and is really nice to everyone no hints of harming himself or jealous. He's being bullied almost the whole day, and a teacher scolded me for lying, and next this star pupil Bakugo... he's a total hothead disrespecting everyone even teachers calls everyone 'useless extras', and loves to torment Izuku over his Quirklessness."
"Your honor, permission to speak." Mitsuru requested calmly.
"Granted." the judge allowed her.
"Prior to this trial, we spoke extensively with the Bakugo family regarding his attitude and have already addressed that part of the call." Mitsuru answered respectfully. "We spoke with the principal of U.A. and several professional heroes and have already found a solution that all parties find acceptable."
"Noted." Judge Strickland nodded over knowing that Bakugo won't be involved for the trial since they already strike a impasse before the trial. "Defendant what say in your defense?"
"Your honor, the Kirijo Group are simply spewing lies." there shitty lawyer tried to defend. "We know the Kirijo Group are skilled in computers so they might've forged the phone call to make it seem like it."
"Do you have any proof of that case?"
"No we don't... but it's possible."
"Stand you may call witnesses." the prosecutor nodded before calling. "I would like to call Mr. Izuku Midoriya to the stand."
Izuku gulped turning to his mother for some support before he head up.
"Go ahead Izuku, it's ok you can tell them everything... just make sure it's the truth." Inko smiled softly.
Izuku softly smiled getting up, and sat down where the prosecutor moves the bible for Izuku to place a hand on. "Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?"
"I do." Izuku slowly nodded over.
"Then please tell us how your days in Aldera go by normally."
"Well... to put it bluntly hell. It was bad at first before I got my diagnosis on my Quirk, and when I found out I don't have one, it went by more sour to where almost everyday I feel like pray in a building full of predators always afraid of being eaten alive from the severe amount of stuff I went through, the teachers always turn a blind eye, and just scold me for small reasons while paying attention mostly to Kacchan as he had a powerful Quirk that they ignore everyone else, and focus on grooming him as a hero but treat me like dirt cause I don't have a Quirk to where I'm even afraid to eat at the cafeteria, and when Tetsuo-san came in he protected me which made him hospitalized and-"
"Midoriya?"
"Yeah?" Izuku looked seeing the prosecutor had a raised eyebrow.
"I... think that be enough." the prosecutor admitted over towards him. "You gave us more info, and more answers that I don't know what to ask ya."
Izuku blinked before blushing deep. "Uh sorry... I do that a lot."
"Objection!" the homeroom teacher called. "Midoriya can't be trusted, his creepy mutterings bring no light to truth!"
"The fact you just said that only confirms the truth further your in the wrong." Judge Strickland gave him such a stern look making the teacher sit down afraid. "Anymore questions, prosecutor?"
"No sir." the prosecutor answered before turning to Izuku. "You may go back down Midoriya-san."
Izuku blushed walking back.
"Objection your honor, I request an opportunity to question this witness." Aldera's lawyer stated.
The judge looked over to him before looking back to Izuku who stared over before Judge Strickland sighed nodding. "Granted." Izuku blushed walking back, and sat down as the prosecutor allowed Aldera's lawyer over.
"Izuku Midoriya, is it not true that you have allegedly been spying on your fellow classmates and recording their actions in journals?" the lawyer questioned.
"Well... it's not really like that. I study Quirks, it's a hobby of mine where I see the uses they have for anything they can do." Izuku admitted over not denying he has record his classmates' Quirks in a journal. "Just where in case I'm not a hero, I can still help them out by informing them, and recommend some new strategies."
"Or, you could use it to blackmail your fellow students and professional heroes due to your nature as someone without a quirk. Your honor, any mistreatment as the Kirijo Group claims is simply defense to keep certain types of people from harming a potential future generation of great heroes." the lawyer stated calmly. "It is my opinion, that the most effective course of action... is to euthanize this young man before he becomes a danger to everyone here."
Izuku shuddered only for Fuuka to call. "Objection! Midoriya has no intention of doing such a thing. Principal Nezu himself sees the kind of potential he has, and from Aldera sabotaging him wants to help Izuku embrace his gift of analysing Quirks to where he has a sharp mind, and wishes to assist him on it. In addition the titles of the journals we're called 'Hero Analysis For The Future' so he desires to be a hero much more by using his mind if he doesn't be a hero."
"May we perhaps see one of these journals?" the prosecutor requested over.
Blushing over Izuku admitted. "One is in my bag where mom is." At that Inko looked pulling out a journal handing it to the prosecutor who takes it. Reading over the different things his eyes blink, and looked stunned.
"Whoa, Midoriya this is astonishing work. And this is just one?"
"Y-Yes... all of it is only used for helping others." Izuku confirmed.
"Detective?"
Tsukauchi who was nearby if he's needed stated over. "Truth sir."
"Very well." the judge nodded over looking at the lawyer. "Anymore questions?"
"Well... why would you be keeping these journals secret then? There must be an anterior motive." the lawyer mentioned hesitantly.
"I haven't been keeping them secret... Kacchan knows about them, and no-one's ever been interested." Izuku admitted over. "Besides I know how dangerous they can be but I'm only gonna use them to help people."
Tsukauchi nodded over confirming. "Truth."
The lawyer flinched at that. "Still, there must be... some reason that a quirkless freak would be writing down quirk information... perhaps to sell it a villain?"
"I would never!" Izuku gasped at that.
"That's enough." the judge stated sternly seeing this a good place to stop this further. "Keep those comments to yourself or you'll be relieved of duty for making such inappropriate remarks. Remember your place."
"Yes your honor." the lawyer panicked quickly going back to his seat.
Izuku sat back beside his mother, and shuddered. "Be e-euthanize?" Inko gave him a soft hug as they watched the trial.
It went on while they hear, and seen Aldera trying to defend themselves the evidence the Kirijo Group had are being too much. Now the last witness will be questioned to be the turn breaker. Tetsuo himself.
Tetsuo sat down as the prosecutor readied the bible. "Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth." Tetsuo nodded over as the prosecutor nodded. "Then tell us the truth."
"All what is said is true. I used to live an an orphanage, and been with them. They wanted me to be at Somei but I requested to be at a normal school which Aldera was at the time. But the teachers didn't care about me being Mitsuru's son, the homeroom teacher said over I am Quirkless which made me uncomfortable for him giving out my private information like that if it's suppose to protect the student body. When I also reported over of someone bullying Izuku they instead scolded me, and threatened a detention for lying. Despite that when Izuku was in trouble I stepped in, and was in some critical condition when my Quirk awakened."
Officially Tetsuo's Persona awakening was labeled as a Quirk Awakening so that no one can be confused over, and only a select few know the truth.
"Your quirk awakened at your age?" the judge questioned. "Would you be willing to share your quirk with the court?"
After looking at Mitsuru, and Fuuka who nodded Tetsuo explained over. "It's called Persona. I summon a spirit with help of a mask, and it aids me in battle or anything else. But if it's attacked or destroyed it deals severe damage or even death towards me. You can say that Persona is myself in another form in battle where if one falls the other follows."
"That's... quite the interesting quirk." the judge nodded. "Well I believe I've heard enough. I find Aldera Middle School guilty of all charges."
"But your honor! That isn't a Quirk!" the Principal attempted to argue due to being one of the few people to know the truth of at the meeting which Mitsuru can see her revealing her Persona much earlier then planned is coming back to bite her. "Mitsuru Kirijo also uses this Persona except with a gun! He can use it to kill people!"
"Hm?" the judge blinked hearing that where they see the Kirijos looked calm. He looked over to the Detective for a display of truth or lie.
Normally Tsukauchi would be honest for justice's sake but from how the Kirijos have a good reason ahead, and knowing that Aldera needs to be brought down decided to fib for once. "Lie."
"That's a lie! I was there, I saw it!" the Principal cried desperately.
"The detective has a lying detecting Quirk so he's not. 10 years in prison, and revoke of teaching license." the judge slammed a gravel. "Case dismissed!"
With that the officers take the screaming Principal, and teacher away while Tsukauchi walked over to Mitsuru. "Don't thank me Mitsuru, I only lied on my Quirk out of my respect for you for your duty, and that Aldera needed to be shut down. So if there is a case I'm called against you don't think of me going easy."
"You didn't have to lie for our sake, but thank you. If there's anything we can do to repay you just let us know." Mitsuru whispered at that though Tsukauchi could tell she looked unhappy that they won the trial through a lie.
Tsukauchi nodded walking off as Fuuka admitted over. "Well at least the truth of Persona was still a secret."
"For now." Mitsuru agreed closing her eyes. "We should head back."
They nodded walking out to head back home with some introductions. As they did Fuuka frowned. "Izuku, are you going to be ok after all of that?"
Izuku shuddered looking to her. "Well... the e-euthanize part was... surprising but n-now other people won't s-suffer cause of them."
"What does euthanize mean?" Tetsuo asked over since he doesn't know some certain words.
"It's a term normally used for animals... it means to humanely put them down... and end their lives." Mitsuru answered as the area got lightly colder indicating she was not happy it was brought up.
Tetsuo widen his eyes stunned. "What? Why would a lawyer like him suggest something like that?" He then blinked looking angry. "Wait don't tell I think I know. He's as much as a bigot as the others were."
"We won't let anything like that happen." Fuuka mentioned quickly. "They're not hurting either of you ever again."
The two smiled as they enter the Kirijo Residence after a long drive. They see all three Persona teams were there as Junpei grinned over. "Hey hey there court case winners! We watched everything! I'd almost pissed my pants when that principal began to mention about Personas."
"We were lucky this time that detective lied about them." Shinjiro looked at Mitsuru. "But try to be more careful who you reveal it towards."
"I'll keep that in mind Shinjiro, though to be honest I was primarily intending to show Katsuki Bakugo that even without a quirk Izuku could be a hero." Mitsuru pointed out before turning to him. "Of course, now that we aren't in a stressful meeting you should get to know all of us, we will be helping you learn to understand and utilize your Persona abilities after all."
They nodded over before Tetsuo looked over. "So... there the Phantom Thieves?" He never met this group before while he frequented with the Shadow Operatives, and sometimes gets acquainted with the Investigation Team.
"That's us. I'm sure you remember who we are but we will tell you again." Akira nodded bowing. "I'm there Akira Kurusu, and yes the same person you seen a few years ago on the news. My name as a Phantom Thief is Joker."
"Sup, I'm Ryuji Sakamoto." the blonde mentioned waving. "Skull as a Phantom Thief."
"Ann Takamaki or Panther as a Phantom Thief." Ann added over.
"Morgana. But Mona as a Phantom Thief." Morgana in his cat form said over with a grin.
"I am Yusuke Kitagawa or known as Fox." Yusuke bowed over.
Makoto smiled over. "Makoto Niijima or otherwise as a Queen."
"Heya! Futaba Sakura or Oracle!" Futaba grinned over. "I'm there navigator."
"I'm Haru Okumura, or known as a thief, Noir." Haru softly smiled over with a wave.
"Goro Akechi or Crow." Akechi stated over simply.
"I'm Sumire Yoshizawa or Violet." Sumire waved with a smile.
"I'm Sophia, humanity's companion." Sophia bowed over. "I'm also called Sophie."
"And finally, I'm Zenkichi Hanesagawa." Zenkichi waved over with a grin. "I'm known as Wolf with these troublemakers."
"Well, now that that's settled... I'm guessing you have a lot of questions?" Akira inquired to Izuku. "Tetsuo already knows pretty much everything about Personas but I have a feeling you have a lot you want to ask?"
"Well I... kinda get most of it... but these different worlds... you must've performed differently then them?" Izuku softly asked Akira. "Something that involved t-the Palace Rulers? And probably Mr. O-Okumura was killed cause something happened to his S-Shadow?"
"Yes, an individual's Shadow is linked to them... it's a manifestation of ones deepest held secrets or desires." Akechi answered. "If you want to think about it, to form a Palace you need extremely distorted desires... not malevolent ones, just distorted and a Palace Ruler is the individual's Shadow. You can think of that as a physical representation of their mind. When I shot and killed Kunikazu Okumura's Shadow it would be the equivalent of killing his mind... a complete mental shutdown and eventual death."
"Your the one who done it?" Inko asked horrified to seeing a killer right in front of her when he looks so kind, and trustworthy. "I thought the Thieves were wrongly accused of such a thing."
"Unless..." they looked to Izuku who was looking at Akechi. "Y-You weren't with the P-Phantom Thieves despite having a P-Persona at first."
"Boy you catch on quick do ya?" Morgana asked over impressed.
Tetsuo softly chuckled over. "Well he already understood most of the things I couldn't make heads or tails with. Already knows a lot more then we give him credit for."
"That perceptive eye will definitely lead to you being quite the hero one day... assuming you can handle the effort to master your Persona." Akechi smirked. "Though to answer your question, no... I was not a member of the Phantom Thieves at the time and instead was planning on putting the blame for the murder on them. If not for a... minor slip-up that would have been the end of the Phantom Thieves and Masayoshi Shido would have become prime minister unopposed."
"Boy you remind me of Adachi..." Yosuke admitted rubbing his head over to Akechi. "Well... at least your more mature then him in some cases."
"Adachi?" Inko blinked at that.
"You two know the Inaba Serial Murder case?" Yu asked the Midoriyas calmly.
"Well in our town of Inaba days get real foggy." Chie explained over to them. "When the fog clears a dead body appears. Although the cause of death was unknown we knew it was no accident."
"And we accidentally bumped into a TV when Yu told us he experienced strange noises, and sucked into his TV." Youske admitted over. "We seen pictures of Misuzu Hiiragi so I figured it had some sort of connection, and we encountered Ted here who told us someone was throwing people into the TV."
"Throwing people in TVs?" Inko was skeptical. "You do realize that sounds ridiculous?"
"It's very true." Aigis mentioned indicating a TV as Yu walked over and just casually passed his arm through the screen before taking it back out.
Izuku, and Inko looked stunned seeing that where Izuku asked him over. "Is that... because you have a Persona?"
"Yes, but someone with a persona can bring someone else into the TV World, and that's another place you can find your Shadow but if you accept that part of yourself it can awaken to a Persona... that's what happened to most of us." Naoto explained. "With the exception of Yu."
"So how did Yu unlocked his?" Inko asked over.
"We were getting to that." Yosuke crossed his arms. "I was only in it to try being a big hero at the time but confronting my Shadow made him see into my thoughts. Rejecting me gave it more power, and it attacked us. When I accepted it like Naoto-san said it became my Persona."
"But... that didn't happen with me." Izuku admitted.
"Well no one said that a mask, and that Evoker are the only ways." Chie admitted over. "I followed over cause the third victim of the case was Yukiko after seeing the death of Mayumi Yamano, and Saki Konishi." She softly pat Yosuke's shoulder who winced a little from the name of the second person. "But after we rescued Yukiko we found more people getting trapped like Kanji, Rise, a brat named Mitsuo, Naoto, Yu's cousin Nanako-chan, our friend Marie-chan... even Labrys-san."
Said woman nod over to confirm the truths.
"We thought Mitsuo was the culprit but he was only seeking attention. He was a copycat killer since he killed our homeroom teacher in a similar way though the cause of death was found." Yukiko admitted over. "The next suspect was Taro Namatame, Misuzu Hiiragi's ex-husband. Even though he had the power, he doesn't have a Persona, and though he admitted to throwing people in the TV he tries to place them in to try protecting them not realizing the dangerous world it was."
"But soon we realized that the culprit was with us the whole time blindly giving us information under the guise of a clumsy officer." Naoto added over for her case. "Tohru Adachi."
"So... he's the one who gave you this Persona power?" Inko asked hearing that.
"No. But he gained the same power Yu-senpai, and Namatame had." Rise admitted over. "The real person pulling the strings was Izanami."
"Iza... you mean the Japanese goddess Izanami?" Izuku asked stunned.
"The very same." Yu nodded over. "Me, and Adachi's Personas are based on her husband Izanagi. When we each arrived to Inaba she granted us the power of Persona, and the TVs though we didn't realize it until later. The day before I left Inaba, I gotten a letter from Adachi that had the same circumstances he experienced when he first arrived at Inaba, and a Gas Station Attendant was the only person, I encountered when I arrived. She revealed herself as Izanami, and knowing we have to stop her from repeating this we head in, and fought her ourselves. We barely won with me using Izanagi's real form, Izanagi-no-Okami."
Izuku's eyes widened in shock hearing that.
"I'm sure you have more questions and want to get to know us personally but I think we should get a feel for your abilities." Akihiko mentioned with a smile. "So, why don't you summon your Persona so Futaba, Rise, and Fuuka can have a closer look at it?"
Izuku stared before looking at Fuuka, Mitsuru, and Inko who all nodded as Mitsuru handed him an Evoker.
Softly taking a breath Izuku raised the hand which is a little easier then before. "Come! Yukimura!" He pulled the trigger before above him Yukimura appeared readying his spear.
"Whoa, not bad." Futaba smiled seeing the Persona. "And... wait what the?"
"Is that even possible, your Persona... it doesn't have any weaknesses at all?" Rise questioned staring at it.
"It doesn't seem to be resistant to anything either though, just like Shinjiro-san's Persona." Fuuka mentioned.
Shinjiro stared over at this. "Yukimura huh...? He was a loyal soldier for the Takeda in Feudal Japan, and was the brother of warrior Nobuyuki, and also fought for the Western Army against Ieyasu Tokugawa."
Izuku softly nodded over to confirm that be true. "Yeah that's right... I didn't think my Persona would be a warrior from that era..."
"Personas come in all forms." Yusuke mentioned calmly. "They vary as much as people if not more so."
They stared before Yukimura faded away. Tetsuo grinned over. "Alright my turn right? You guys haven't had a chance to see mine." At that through some blue flames his attire when he awakened his Persona appeared on him.
Izuku looked on recalling the first time Tetsuo summoned his Persona as Fuuka looked incredibly proud.
"What can this persona do?" Yosuke asked curiously as they noticed he said this persona and not his persona.
Tetsuo reached for his mask. "Come out! Theseus!" Pulling it off Theseus appeared above him with a serious smirk looking like it recovered from the attacks Bakugo inflicted on him.
"It looks like he's weak to ice, psychokinesis, and curse but he's strong against electricity and bless attacks." Rise noted seeing that. "A few more weaknesses and strengths than I thought he'd have but if he does have the same power as Yu, Akira, and Aigis... that's not a problem at all."
"Is that why he said 'this persona' earlier?" Izuku asked over.
"Exactly, you said you met with Igor-san?" Aigis asked Tetsuo.
"Yeah, in a scientist lab... he called it the Velvet Room. Is that the same place where..." he started only for Mitsuru to simply nod.
"Yes, it's where Minako, Aigis, Narukami, and Kurusu are able to obtain new Personas... thanks to their unique ability." she confirmed.
"Unique ability? New Personas?" Inko asked shocked.
"So this Velvet Room is where you obtain new personas? Well it makes sense as personas, and shadows are one of the same there had to be a specialist who know about them to make use of these new personas as a way of giving new personalities, and discard them for the better outcome on whatever is the best course of action of course discarding the old personality is also a sign of moving forward, and deciding what else to do in life once you decide in path so makes perfect sense that this special power is entrusted onto Minako, Narukami-san, Aigis-san, Akechi-san even if his own power isn't as strong as there's, Kurusu-san, and Tetsuo-san to be versatile against fighting Shadows but the new weaknesses, and strengths will make the opposing shadows just as unpredictable if they don't know what there weak or strong against so it'll be-"
"Midoriya?"
"Yeah?" Izuku looked over seeing everyone staring at him. Blushing bright red. "Ah man again? Sorry."
"It's fine." Mitsuru smiled softly.
"Does he ramble on like that all the time?" Junpei asked over sweatdropping. "I can't make half of what he was saying even though we were told about it."
"I think it's endearing, and it isn't like we have our own quirks so to speak." Chie shrugged. "Well, not powers but... we're all kind of weird."
"Some more than others." Futaba mentioned glancing at Yusuke.
Yusuke stared over before Izuku coughed over. "Well uh... to change the subject... maybe you all won't mind something for me?"
"What is it?" Fuuka asked him softly with a smile.
"Well uh... may I please... analyze your Quirks?" Izuku asked shy but somewhat excited. "Some of them were really cool, and I'd like to know what they can do, and how they can conjoin with your Personas."
"That's fine with me." Yu smiled.
"Oh... was that why earlier?" Haru remembered his little 'episode' back at the hospital when he heard about her Quirk he asked her all sorts of questions about what are the powers, and limits of her Quirk.
"Uh yeah... I just love to study Quirks."
"We've noticed." Akihiko mentioned to him. "So who do you want to start with?"
"Well... to probably make a start probably start with ones that aren't very much suited to combat?" Izuku first started off after Inko handed him a fresh new Notebook they gotten sometime before they came back. "Stuff that don't prioritize fighting basically."
"That makes sense." Yusuke nodded.
"If you fall under those categories please step forward."
While Akechi, Yu, and Akira stepping back as there Quirkless the category ones walked over. Fuuka, Yosuke, Ann, Teddie, Yusuke, Junpei, Ken, Haru, Koromaru, Rise, Futaba, Sophie, and Zenkichi walked over.
"And alright... now please explain to me your Quirks." Izuku nodded over smiling.
Over the next hour this type of thing goes on where Izuku was analyzing, and inspecting the Quirks of the three Persona Teams writing them down on his notebook while giving out some slight suggestions along with some teamwork with there Personas.
"So your own Quirk is able to create water from the moisture in the air where you can freely filter it?" Izuku was now doing Teddie while writing down on his journal about what he had learned.
"That's right." Teddie smiled. "It's not super fancy but it lets me give people a nice cup of water... Nana-chan really loves to get a cold glass after school."
"My cousin Nanako." Yu explained.
"On top of that it has lots of community use cause you can distribute water like that to people who really need it who don't have a water filter handy." Izuku added over to them. "Even for those in case of emergencies where if someone is under heat stroke you can create water with ease to help, and with it being purified it'll give them all the benefits of drinking water that normal tap water would give. Or flavoring it with Kool-Aid or Coffee." He then looked over. "Have you ever tried it on Shadows before?" Which makes Teddie blink over confused.
"Well... no. I'm pretty sure they don't want a glass of water."
Izuku shook his head. "That's not what I meant. Your Persona can use ice right?" The blonde boy nodded over to confirm. "So if your Persona can use ice it means it can also freeze things. Which means if you create a lot of water with your Quirk to douse Shadows, and use your Persona in addition, you can trap them in a big frozen shell leaving them open for attacks. Or you shoot water which your Persona freezes to deal a hard attack on them. Or even more splash water on the floor before freezing it to have them slip."
"It's worth a try, but some Shadows can fly or float." Makoto mentioned.
"But huh... I never thought of using my Quirk like that..." Teddie admitted over rubbing his head. "Why didn't I think of that?"
"Well now you know for later right?" Izuku smiled over to him. "Try it out sometime. Maybe also have your Persona create ice to make ice cubes without waiting close to an hour to make some."
"That's a good idea, you're pretty smart." Chie smiled.
"Well Nezu decided to teach him for a reason." Mitsuru softly smiled.
"May I see one of these journals?" Naoto requested.
"Uh sure..." Izuku walked, and handed over a journal over to her labeled Volume 8 for her to see.
Naoto opened the journal to look at it.
She find really detailed information about several heroes throughout the book including ones she frequently worked with. Otherside there appearance in drawings, she sees there Quirk, fighting style, weaknesses, and theories in detailed small writing so it all can fit over. She also notices that it coded at times. Needless to say this type of knowledge astonishes her from how detailed, and accurate it really looks, and feels a sense of relief he's not using this knowledge against anyone only to help others.
"This... this is remarkable." Naoto admitted handing it back to him.
"I'd... been practicing since I was 5." Izuku admitted taking it back with a small blush.
"Well, it shows you have a very sharp mind... I think you'll make a great hero." Yukiko smiled.
"Yeah, and we have some good teachers to help us be in shape." Tetsuo agreed over. "Though be careful... Uncle Akihiko's got a mean punch."
Akihiko grinned at that. "Don't worry, I'll hold back at first."
Izuku gulped over but nodded over. While talking over Inko notices a photo, and walked over which Shinjiro notices. Walking up she sees photos of the Shadow Operatives but younger with red armbands of S.E.E.S. while as they gain more members became more friendly, and fun. All the while it had a girl who looked the same age as some of them with auburn hair, which is kept in a single ponytail, along with barrettes which form the roman numeral XXII at the side.
She also sees a photo of her with Shinjiro for a special photo which while Shinjiro didn't look like he's thrilled did had a small smile while the girl formed a heart sign with her hands beside him.
"Is this..." she started seeing it.
"Minako Arisato, our leader... and the girl Shinjiro loved." Mitsuru nodded.
Inko jumped turning around seeing Shinjiro behind her looking somber. "Of... this... is Minako?" She turned back to the pictures. "She looks so beautiful."
"She is..." he whispered softly.
Inko stared over before turning over back to him where he wiped his eyes from tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry to ask..." He looked over towards her. "But... how did she... die? You all said that she gave herself at the last battle to save us all."
"Yes that's true... she gave her existence to become the Great Seal to keep something called Erebus from calling the Fall." Shinjiro answered over from what he had been told. "She stayed long enough for us to meet at the Graduation Ceremony but she left us later. I was awake from my coma at that point, and... we been really close together." Inko softly gasped holding her mouth. "Now... we're trying to help her somehow to stop Erebus for good..."
"Oh... I'm so sorry." Inko softly apologized over with tears.
"Thank you, we've been working on a way to bring her back but it's extremely difficult." Ken admitted.
"Well it's been a long day. What do you say we hit the sack?" Junpei suggested over with a small grin. "Tetsuo, and Izuku got a new school to look forward too tomorrow anyway."
"I don't know if I'll be able to sleep after everything I've learned today." Izuku admitted.
"Yeah I get the feeling. But I think Kikuno can help with that." Tetsuo admitted over with a small chuckle. "But don't take this as an excuse to study some more you need the rest."
"I'll try." Izuku blushed at that before walking up with Tetsuo.
After arriving Kikuno sighed a bit generating mist which the two breathed in, and instantly Izuku feels himself getting really drowsy.
"Thanks... Kikuno." Tetsuo yawned.
Kikuno nodded as the two feel asleep.
The next day...
"You two have a good day." Tetsuo, and Izuku waved to Kikuno before she driven off which they turned over to there new school, Somei Academy.
"Somei... feels like yesterday huh Izuku?" Tetsuo smiled over to him. "Us in Aldera, and now here."
"Yeah... I hope it goes better." Izuku admitted nervously.
Tetsuo softly patted his back as they walked in finding the Principal's office. Turning over the Principal was a middle-aged woman who smiled calmly over to them. "Oh Mr. Kirijo, and Mr. Midoriya, I assume? Thank you for coming. Please have a seat." She offered the two seats in front of her.
Nodding they both sat down.
"First off I'd like to offer my most sincerest apologies for what you both went through. No-one should have to suffer like that cause they don't have a Quirk." the Principal gently bowed her head over.
"Thank you." Izuku admitted before looking down. "Um... that's not something that could happen here is it?"
"I promise you that won't happen. Unlike your previous school we have a very strict anti-bullying policy." the Principal smiled over assuringly. "Somei may be so called a 'Elite School' but we take our works, and jobs seriously only when we needed too. If you can wait just one more minute the Vice-President of the Student Council will be here to guide you around."
"The Vice-President?" Tetsuo asked surprised hearing that.
"Yes of course." the door opened as the Principal smiled. "Ah speak of the devil here she is." She then blinked. "Oh, and the President too. I thought you were gonna be busy."
"Well I thought I was but I seen I got some free time."
The voice made Tetsuo widen his eyes as he stood up turning around.
One was a black haired girl in a ponytail wearing the Somei Girl's uniform.
Meanwhile the other person who's a tad bit shorter then the other one was a brightly blue/pink haired girl with magenta eyes wearing the Somei Girl's Uniform.
"No way." they turned to Tetsuo confused seeing he's staring at the magenta eyed girl. "Skyla?"
"That... Tetsuo?" she asked before embracing him in a tight hug.
"Skyla!"
"Oh my God, Tetsuo it is you!"
They embraced tight close together much to everyone else's surprise. They pulled back where Skyla had some tears as Tetsuo asked. "But I thought you had..."
"I thought we wouldn't see each other again!" Skyla said over with a big happy smile. "How are you?"
"Doing amazing, how about you?"
"Doing great myself!" Skyla smiled over.
"Miss President?" the other girl walked beside her understandably confused. "I'm sorry but you know him?"
"I do, this is Tetsuo... when we were younger... we grew up in the same orphanage, and he saved my life!" Skyla explained smiling. "He was a hero even without a quirk."
"Oh this is the same boy?" the girl asked greatly surprised looking at Tetsuo.
"Uh yeah... after that fire started when Skyla hurt her ankle the heroes, and paramedics weren't moving in so I had to get in myself to rescue her." Tetsuo admitted over. "I'd admit that was pretty stupid since I was reckless but I managed to rescue her after a beam trapped her to the floor. Then when the heroes started to chew me out for it Mom, and Mamagishi stepped in, and chewed THEM out."
"I remember that, she scared me a little back then." Skyla admitted blushing slightly.
"Yeah Mamagishi's really passoionate on showing love, and support." Tetsuo chuckled over before turning to the Vice-President. "And you are...?"
"Oh sorry." the Vice-President bowed over politely. "I'm Momo Yaoyorozu, the Vice-President of the Student Council. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"It's very nice to meet you both." Izuku bowed respectfully.
"Well this is quite the reunion isn't it?" they turned the Principal who smiled over. "Well don't let me keep you waiting but you all will have time to relieve the past later. Right now please show Mr. Kirijo, and Mr. Midoriya around Skyla-san, Yaoyorozu-kun."
"Of course, please follow me." Momo mentioned calmly.
They nodded following after Momo, and Skyla around the school.
bopdog111: Okay well this is certainly quite a long chapter. Some might drop lower but we can just find out soon.
Ulrich362: Agreed, though now they're at a new school so hopefully it works out better than Aldera did.
bopdog111: Of course as Somei is the previous school of a certain stickler of rules we would be aware to encounter him at some point.
Ulrich362: True, that's definitely going to be an interesting meeting. See you in the next chapter.
bopdog111: Be sure to review!
