That night, Emma and Vivian were sitting under the light of the full moon on the dock while everyone else slept in the cabins.

"I can't believe rumors about us are going around," said Vivian.

"Truthfully we should have seen it coming given everything that happened, but what are we going to do about this?" asked Emma.

"I'll talk to my dad first thing in the morning," said Vivian.

"He'll probably want to get out in front of the rumors by having us talk to the campers and explain the truth of what happened, as embarrassing as that sounds it would be the best thing we can do," she said.

"Looks like I've caused you trouble again," said Emma with a regretful expression while turning to look at the water below them.

"Hey, you have caused nothing," said Vivian as she grabbed her girl's hand.

"Plus my family loves you just as much as I do and we'll find a way around this so don't ever blame yourself for anything," she said.

"Did you just say that you love me?" asked Emma as she looked Vivian in the eyes, a small sparkle in her own as she did.

"I um," said Vivian who turned a deep shade of red while being unable to say anything and was the one to turn away this time.

"Because I love you too," said Emma with a smile.

"Really?" asked Vivian as she turned her attention back to her.

"Of course, how could I not?" asked Emma before leaning over and kissing Vivian. They each placed a hand on the opposite side of each other's face as they kissed before finally pulling apart.

"Wow," said the two.

"You know," said Vivian, her face still slightly flushed pink.

"I've had a couple of crushes in my life but I'm glad you're the one I got with, because you really mean the most to me," she said with a smile.

"Same here," said Emma while leaning her head over onto Vivian's shoulder. Unbenounced to either of them, a camper had been watching from the trees before heading back to their cabin.
