A Lovely and Courageous Girl
"And... DONE!" Deadpool went victoriously over finally completing Dragon's Lair.
"Huh... was this a reference to Ryan Reynolds making a Dragon's Lair movie?" NeoMark asks.
"Dunno... forgot about that." Deadpool said as he took a breath. "Now... where's the coffee I ordered?"
There was a knock at the door.
"It's open." NeoMark said.
In came Flower Princess11, and she looked slightly ticked.
"Deadpool..." She said.
"Hey... that's my coffee!" Deadpool went, seeing a comically large cup in her hand.
"I just got this coffee ordered from... uh…" FP11 said, looking unsure what to say. "Space Bucks... when I-"
"FP, it's my story... you can say the real place here." NeoMark said.
"Oh... well... I got this order from Starbucks... when I don't recall making any sort of order with our company cards."
"I needed it! I've been up all night to win Dragon's Lair!" Deadpool went.
"Isn't that the game Don Bluth did animation for?" FP11 asks.
"Yup. You can thank Number Boy for that." NeoMark said.
"I'm pretty sure from what I heard that it's easy to die in that game." FP11 said, vaguely recalling some tales of people playing this game.
"It is... so... I won! Pretty cool, huh?" Deadpool asks.
"Look... all I know is that coffee was paid with a company card... MY company card! And you're the only one who'd buy something like this... so I put two and two together there... heh... and decided that you're in serious trouble!" FP11 said, glaring at Deadpool.
"Oh... sorry, FP. In my defense, I was using your phone when I made the order and didn't realize it was your card when I did that. Still... I am truly sorry... and... it will... probably... never happen again." Deadpool said.
"Probably?" FP11 questioned.
"Well... most likely will... almost definitely will... but probably never will happen again." Deadpool went with a joyful look in his eyes. "Can I have my coffee now?"
"No no... I'm gonna drink it all now since it's... uh... mine anyways." She said before taking a large sip. "So... who has been on a date with Danny since the last time I was here?"
"Here." Deadpool said, handing her the list.
"Hmm... Didn't expect to see Star Butterfly... Eh, pretty funny but I don't see an instant love connection compared to other dates... Ahh, Wendy returned...awesome. Ahh...Melissa Chase...nice choice...Ooh, this April's back... I heard Bridgette was used instead of Gwen, kinda bummed but I liked Bridgette too so it's okay... I figured Vanessa would be here... Not familiar wi- Wait a minute!" FP11 said as she pointed to the paper. "You said it's Fighter and not Fighters! And I thought you said one entry per series?"
"Sakura is from Street Fighter by Capcom, Kula is from King of Fighters by SNK. Two different companies." Neo explained.
"Oh..." FP went sheepishly. "So... wait... this is date 20?"
"Yeah."
"So... who I think is returning is here?" FP11 asks.
"Look at the title... Does that sound like Rei Hino's description?" Deadpool asks.
"Oh... let's see!" FP11 said excitedly as she sat down.
Deadpool reached for the coffee, only for her to pull it away.
Returning home, Danny thought back to his date with Kula.
She was very pretty, but also very immature. It was like a 4 year old mind in a 14 year old body. There was also her "brother", K'. The young man was rather confrontational, but part of it was a protectiveness for Kula.
Despite it all, he found himself liking her. She was fun, a joy to be around, and had the mind of an innocent child that needed love and support in her life. It's because of what he went through, that he found his time with her weirdly enjoyable and decided to give her a score of 8.
As he did that, he got a call from Tucker. With a smile and a shrug, he answered.
"Hey T-"
"DUDE! I'm so glad you answered. Listen! It's important! I have to warn you…" Tucker went.
"Warn me of what?" Danny asks.
"My date tonight was a girl who went by the handle of K Oz-ka!" He heard Tucker pronounce.
"K… huh?" Danny asks.
"She's… admittedly, a total babe…" He heard Tucker say fondly. "But she's also super scary strong and very easy to make angry!" Tucker then went into a panic.
"She was?" Danny asks.
"If you see your date is K Oz-ka… run!" Tucker went. "Also, how was your date?" He asks, becoming more composed as if from the flip of a switch.
"Oh, uh… Kula was… no pun intended, cool." Danny admitted.
"... huh?" Tucker was heard asking.
"Uh… you had to be there." Danny said.
"Okay… well, while you're drooling over the newest member of your harem… I gotta spread the word to keep an eye out for this girl. Hopefully, I can spell it right…" Tucker went.
Danny raised an eyebrow as he shrugged.
"So… outside of someone you're not going closer than 20 feet, anything else?" Danny asks.
"Nah, that's it… and I'm NOT changing my profile! That's not how I got that scary girl!" Tucker insisted before hanging up.
"Of course… not sure who to feel bad for. Him or this K Oz-ka girl…" Danny went in bemusement, pronouncing a name he never heard before as best as he could. "So… who's next?"
From there, he read the next profile.

Huh...interesting… He thought before tiredness reached him.
He decided, since he flew as fast as he could, to take a quick nap before dinner.
"Kula was the first to kiss me twice… maybe this one's the first to do it three times? Heh… That's just wishful thinking…" He thought out loud with a smile before dozing off.
"Oh! She's here! I am so happy! Makoto is, like, in my top five favorites!" FP11 said as her leg kept bouncing repeatedly.
"Really? I haven't noticed." NeoMark jokingly said.
"It's true! Sailor Moon has been one of my favorites since I was a kid, and Jupiter has been my favorite guardian. I am liking this spin off more and more, almost as much as I love my own story APLAC...that stands for A Phantom's Love and Courage if you were wondering. Jupiter is my favorite guardian, alongside Mercury and Venus... Though, I can see why Mina has been gaining a lot of popularity lately. And Ben and Ami are pretty cute together too." FP11 said rapidly with a smile.
NeoMark raised an eyebrow.
"You seem… kind of more excited than you probably should be…" He said.
"You think so?" FP11 asks as her eye twitches while giving an almost unrealistic smile.
NeoMark's eyes darted to the coffee cup.
"How much caffeine is even in that thing?" He asks, pointing at the cup.
FP11's eyes darted to the cup as she frowned.
"That's a good question…" She went.
The two looked at Deadpool, who scratched the side of his head awkwardly.
"I have this deal with Starbucks where they give me tredecuple the caffeine of normal coffee…" Deadpool admitted.
"Tread… huh?" NeoMark asks.
"That means 13 times." Deadpool explained.
"WHAT?!" FP11 questioned.
"Uh… oops?" Deadpool went.
"New rule… no chimichangas on the premises until this story is over." FP11 said with an angered scowl.
"Agreed." NeoMark said.
"NNNOOOOOO!" Deadpool cried out in horror.
"I'm gonna order you some water… and maybe a doctor." NeoMark tells FP11.
"Good call…I like coffee and all, but this is too much." FP11 said, her right eye still twitching like crazy.
The Next Day, at Leah's Bakery and Cafe
Danny soon arrived at his destination, with flowers in his hands and the heart shape sticker on his check. He looked into the window of the bakery, seeing many sweets on display for the public to see. All of them looked delicious.
"I hope Lita the Strong gets here soon...I'm getting hungry..." Danny commented, finding the sweets on display to be very appetizing.
He didn't see someone walking towards him with a worried look on her face.
"Here we go… hope this one isn't scared off." She said under her breath before clearing her throat and putting on a smile once she got close enough. "Excuse me...you wouldn't happen to be D-Fenton, would you?".
Danny turned around and then paused. He looked up to see a teenage girl, wearing a heart sticker.
"I am guessing that you are Lita the strong..." Danny commented.
"Please...just call me Lita..." The tall girl said with a giggle.
Danny examined her appearance. This Lita is 2 inches taller than him and he could tell that she is pretty muscular for a girl. She has long, wavy brown hair in a ponytail, green eyes, with light skin and seems to be of Asian ancestry, just like her profile dictated. He also noticed that she is wearing a light green day dress with some pink on it, along with matching shoes. Danny smiled, while she is pretty tall for a girl, she's pretty and she seems nice enough now.
"You can call me Danny. These are for you…" Danny said as he handed the tall girl the bouquet of flowers and saw her face light up in excitement.
"These are beautiful...thank you..." Lita said with a blush visible on her face.
Danny smiled, feeling that they are getting off to a good start. He then held the door for her.
"After you..." Danny said to the girl, who blushed once more.
"Thank you, Danny-kun..." Lita said before she walked in.
Danny soon followed her as their blind date has now begun.
"YES! WHOO! THEY'RE STARTING!" FP11 went loudly before collapsing back into the chair. "I should have just dumped this cup's contents… I love latte's but even 2 cups is pushing it..." She said before looking into the cup, followed by her contemplating on sipping it again but felt like it was a bad idea.
Deadpool tried to pull the cup out of her hands, leading to a comical game of tug-o-war, NeoMark wisely kept his distance between the two.
"Mine!" DP whined.
"Ugh...fine...whatever...any more of this stuff and I will be vibrating like Barry Allen..." She muttered, letting him have it.
"SWEET!" DP said as he happily chugged it.
Neo ignored this and seemed more concerned with his female friend.
"So… while we wait for the 10 gallons worth of water I ordered to flush that out of your system, now's the part to ask the big question." NeoMark said.
"Why would anyone agree to put 13 times the standard amount of coffee into a cup of any size?" FP11 questioned as she was still vibrating a bit.
"I mean, it's as big as your head… obviously, it'd be a lot." Deadpool pointed out as he held the cup as if it were a magic weapon.
"I meant why the return date had returned…" NeoMark said.
"Oh… right… So, are you using Lita again? Also, I kind of figured you'd have used Minako since I see she's become a popular pick. Any reason why not?" FP11 questions before showing a bit of relief that she didn't have the cup of coffee in her hands anymore.
"Well… I do like Minako, I can totally see her as a love rival for Makoto. That said… yeah… I wanted to bring back at least 10 girls and… well, I wanted to go with the favorites that also fit my rules. That and, may as well admit it, I wanted to bring back all 5 girls whose stories I'm writing." NeoMark admitted.
"I knew it! I KNEW IT!" Deadpool went.
"So, it seems Minako still hasn't gotten her shot at Danny." FP11 said as she took a breath of air.
"Nope, not yet. Maybe for a 10th anniversary for Many Dates?" NeoMark asks jokingly.
"THEN will you put Darkstalkers characters in there?! You started a thing where a cutesy demon and a Chinese kung-fu zombie are ideal future wives for him, after all! I've read the reviews and even seen images of him with Hsien-ko collected on reddit!" Deadpool went.
"I'm actually surprised you didn't put either of them in here, seeing as you really want to put more video game characters. Personally, the video games I know best are Pacman and Mario. I am not familiar with Street Fighters...I'm sorry, Fighter, or King of Fighters, but I…oh god, I need that water asap…" FP11 said, realizing the caffeine was still in her system.
Both Deadpool and NeoMark shared a look.
"I think she's gonna need a doctor…" NeoMark said in worry.
"Here ya go..." DP said as he handed her some water.
"Thanks..." FP said as she took a sip.
Inside Leah's Bakery and Cafe
Danny and Lita were soon seated at a table and began the most difficult part of any blind date. Talking and trying to break the ice.
"So, Lita... tell me all about yourself..." Danny said to the brunette girl, who still looked pretty shy as he spoke to her.
"Well...My actual name is Makoto Kino. But Lita is my name I was given as part of the program for visiting America...I am 14 years old and I am from Juuban, a prefecture in Tokyo..." Lita, or rather Makoto, said.
"Another girl from Japan, huh? You're like the third so far." Danny commented.
"I am?" She asked.
"Yeah… although… I think my last date is at least part Japanese. She looked to be at least half-Asian but she herself had no idea since she was an orphan. Anyway, what brings you all the way out here?..."Danny asked, interested in learning about her.
"We are on a trip for the Summer to visit America with our school..." Makoyo answered the boy, still looking pretty demure.
"So, what made you decide to try blind dating?" Danny asked curiously.
"My friend Minako...though we sometimes call her Mina...she found out about this service and talked us all into trying it and well, I guess I couldn't resist trying something once…" Makoto said, still looking shy as with a small smile.
"So, what are your interests, your hobbies, your dreams?" Danny asked, wanting to get to know her.
"Well, my hobbies are cooking and baking, gardening, shopping and practicing martial arts. I also enjoy playing video games, listening to music, reading and sometimes doing flower arrangement...as for my dream, I would either like to have my own bakery or restaurant when I am older…" Makoto answered him.
"That sounds pretty cool, wanting to have your bakery or restaurant…" Danny commented.
"But enough about me, tell me about yourself?" Makoto asked, wanting to get to know her blind date as much as he her..
"Skip!" Deadpool went.
"Huh?" Flower Princess11 questioned.
"Sorry… This is the first time you were here for a returning date, if I recall. And he really likes to do this." NeoMark said as he handed her more water while Deadpool fast forwards.
"Why am I not surprised?" Flower Princess11 questioned.
Later
After lunch, Danny walked with Makoto out of the Café/Bakery and started talking with her.
"So Lita, tell me. What else do you want to do?" Danny asked his blind date.
Makoto only shrugged as she tried to figure out what to do.
"To be honest, I'm not sure...I have only been in Amity Park for a few days, so I don't exactly know where all of the best spots are…" She admitted.
"Well, that's why you have me...I happen to know where the arcade is, the bowling alley, the movie theater, just say the word and we can go to any of them..."Danny said, wanting to be sure that she is enjoying herself.
"I vote for all of the above…" Makoto said with her arm held high.
"So do I…" Danny laughed, finding himself enjoying Makoto's company.
Despite her height, she is really pretty and she is easy to get along with. However, before he could do or say anything else, he ended up falling to the ground.
"Danny-kun!" Makoto exclaimed.
"Ow..." Danny muttered, only to look and see the cause of why he fell down.
It was a foot, one that belonged to one person that Danny had the displeasure of knowing.
Dash Baxter, with Dale and Kwan at his side, and they were laughing at what the mean blonde boy just did to him.
Where are Sakura, Lapis and Violet when I need them most? Danny thought in irritation.
"Oh no, what do you want, Dash?" Danny said, not liking this sudden reunion at all.
"The usual, my fist meeting with your face, Fenturd…" Dash said as he hoisted Danny up by the collar.
Dale and Kwan were nearby, no doubt to block him if he somehow got loose and tried to escape.
They did not see the hostile look on Makoto's face.
"Come on Dash, I'm on a date... do we really have to do this?" Danny asked as Dash scoffed.
"Fraid so, loser. And I don't see the blue girl, the skinny shorty or the punchy girl with the headband anywhere. You're toast!" 'Dash said as he raised his fist to beat his favorite target up.
However, before Dash could lay a finger on him, something happened. Something unexpected.
A fist flew into Dash's face.
Danny fell to the ground, uninjured and punched and then saw Dash flat on the ground, groaning in pain. He also saw that Makoto was the one who was in front of him, with her fist out to form a punch and a very angry look on her face as she stood over Dash, who is still smarting from the blow.
"Stop being mean to my date!' Makoto shouted over Dash, who was still smarting from the blow she had given him.
"Huh?!" Dash went, trying to soothe the pain in his jaw.
Danny's jaw just dropped, surprised to see Makoto flat out punch Dash so hard that he is now on the ground.
Whoa… He thought as his eyes widened.
He wasn't the only one in shock, Dale and Kwan looked stunned but the former snapped out of it and now started charging after the tall girl.
"WHY YOU!" 'Dale shouted as he charged at her with the intent to do harm.
Makoto gracefully dodge him with a quick step to the right and quickly kneed him, making Dale scream in pain and then painfully land to the ground. Dash then got back up and tried to do a sneak attack, only to see Makoto anticipated it when she avoided him and gave a hard karate chop to his back, sending the dumb jock to the ground once more. Dale tried to get up but a swift kick from the tall, strong girl was enough to send him to the ground once more.
Makoto didn't even look winded, standing straight she continued to glare at both Dale and Dash, noticing Kwan looked positively horrified.
"Now I want to hear you apologize to my date and then I want you losers to leave us alone! Got it?!" Makoto shouted, terrifying the only one still standing.
Kwan, due to being somewhat smarter than the other two jocks, knew that he had only one answer to give.
"Okay, we're sorry! We'll leave now! Bye!" Kwan said quickly as he quickly dragged both Dale and Dash, who were still smarting from their injuries and limping a bit due to the type of attacks she just did to him.
When the trio of bullies were gone, Danny's jaw was still dropped as he still could not believe what he had just seen.
Makoto had not only defeated the three with ease, but she did so without any effort.
Once the trio were out of sight, she turned to Danny and the glare in her eyes was replaced by that demure look she had earlier as she approached him.
"Are you alright, Danny-kun? That creep didn't hurt you, did he?" Makoto asked, sounding very protective and concerned.
It was then that Danny managed to snap out of his shock and got up from the ground with her help.
"I'm fine... no damage..." Danny said while he still eyed her.
She's strong and tough… and a total babe... Danny thought as Makoto looked rather self conscious by his staring.
"I knew you did martial arts but you're way stronger than I originally thought…" Danny said.
Makoto looked embarrassed.
"I'm sorry that you had to see that, but I hate bullies and I just can't stand by, watching someone innocent get hurt…" Makoto said, looking down.
"Who said that was a bad thing, that was actually really cool…" Danny said, making Makoto look up.
"You mean it?" She asked in surprise.
"Totally, the look on those jerks' faces after you knocked Dash down was priceless, I don't think they'll ever live it down…" Danny chuckled. "You're really strong…" He complimented her.
Makoto blushed and looked down.
"Well, I have been taking martial arts since I was a little girl, karate and Kung-Fu mostly, I recently got my black belt..." Makoto said as Danny looked very intrigued now.
"Really? That's so cool..." Danny said, looking impressed.
Makoto felt relieved. Back home, a lot of guys become intimidated by her as soon as they see her fighting prowess and she could still remember the days when her classmates thought she was a delinquent due to her stature and strength, even though she only fought bullies who were picking on others.
"A lot of people back home don't think so, they see a girl fighting and automatically assume she is trouble..." Makoto said, sounding depressed.
"Then they're morons. Come on Lita, I just met you and I can already tell that you aren't a bully. Besides of all people, Dash needed to get his butt kicked. He is the biggest bully at my school, always beating up and bullying the other guys. So it was about time somebody put him and his buddies in place...you didn't do anything wrong…" Danny said, making her crack a smile at that.
"That's good, since I don't regret it...those who use strength to hurt others are the ones I can't stand…" Makoto said wisely.
"Same here..." Danny said, smiling at her.
Makoto was strong and skilled. Yet he could tell, just by looking into her eyes, that she is a good person and those guys back home just don't know an amazing person when they see her.
"Anyway Lita, are you still up for the movies, the bowling alley and the arcade?" Danny said and even offered his arm for her.
Makoto blinked, before she smiled, giggled and took his arm, making it a rather cute sight, despite the noticeable height difference between the two teenagers.
"By all means, lead the way…" Makoto giggled as she and Danny soon left to continue their date.
"Aww…" FP11 gushed.
"Knew you'd love seeing this part." Neomark said.
"Who wouldn't?" FP11 asked.
"So far, it's kind of the same… anything new? Granted, hard to do since the Sailor Guardians kind of have a bigger body count than Danny when you think about it. So I don't think we're seeing someone she's faced before." Deadpool said.
"W-" NeoMark started.
"We know… wait and see." Deadpool and FP11 said in unison.
At the arcade
Danny and Makoto were enjoying themselves while also talking about her friends. She had just mentioned their names and the names they were given from a Mr. Heyward, the man in charge of their trip to the states. How and why he insisted on Americanized names is beyond them though.
"Come to think of it, your real name is Makoto, right?" Danny asked before she nodded. "So… does it bug you when I call you Lita?"
"You can call me Lita. I like it when you say it." She responded, much to his relief.
"So, tell me about these friends of yours?" Danny asks.
"Well, Minako is very… boy crazy, outgoing, a bit full of herself, and tends to be clumsier than the rest of us on her worst days. Rei is… a bit emotional. Ami is the smart one, and the one who has her head on her shoulders better than the rest of us, and then there's Usagi. She's the one who brought us together." Makoto said.
"Usagi?" Danny asked.
"She is kinda my first best friend of the group. She's a bit of a crybaby, and a pig, but she has the biggest heart of us all. She may be lazy, but what she lacks in brains… and impulse control… she makes up for it with her heart. She'll do anything for us, and we'll do anything for her. When everyone at school was afraid to speak with me, she wasn't." Makoto said.
"Your friend sounds nice..." Danny commented.
"She is, in fact, on my first day of school, despite everyone else being afraid of me due to rumors, she was the first one to approach me and even had lunch with me. It wasn't long before I befriended her and her friends..." Makoto said, smiling at the thought of her precious friends.
"That's good to hear.." 'Danny said, feeling happy for her.
"What about you? Will you tell me about your friends?" Makoto asked, thinking that it was the fair thing to ask.
"Well, to be honest I only have 2 best friends, Tucker and Sam. I have known them since I was a little kid and they always have my back…" Danny said as he thought about his best friends.
"They sound nice…" Makoto said.
"They are... maybe one of these days, we all can meet each other's friends…" Danny suggested.
"I'd like that…" Makoto said, giving a nice smile at the thought.
"Mako!" A familiar voice called out.
Makoto raised her head before turning to look over her shoulder.
"And here's one of them. This is Minako." Makoto said.
Danny looked over Makoto's shoulder
He saw a pretty girl with blue eyes and long blonde hair with a cute bow in it.
"Hi." Minako went before looking at Makoto. "Kono kawaī otokonoko ga anata no dēto aiteda to omoimasu yo ne?"
"Kare wa. Soshite, kare o kōgeki shinai yō ni yoroshikuonegaishimasu." Makoto said with an unamused look on her face.
"Oh… Shinpai nai. Kare wa kawaīdesuga, watashi wa buraindodēto no rūru o sonchō shimasu." Minako insisted.
"Uh… no hablo español?" Danny went.
Both girls were reminded of his presence.
"Oh… sorry, Danny-kun. Anyway, this is Minako Aino, one of my best friends." Makoto said.
"Please, call me Mina. Mako here is quite the wonderful girl…" Mina went with a wink. "Of course… if you change your mind…"
"Mina." Makoto said with a warning.
"Sorry!" Mina went with a laugh. "Anyway… I gotta go. My date kind of ended it early for me. His friend, some girl with red hair, said she needed his help. He was cute enough, but his liking of this gross Tex-Mex place and his pet in his pocket kind of made me lose interest." She explained.
"Uh… sorry?" Danny went.
"Don't be. Personally, I wish that it was this Danny Phantom who flew in and swept me off my feet…" Minako went in an overly dramatic fashion.
"She likes to dream big…" Makoto said with arms crossed in an unamused way.
Danny smiled slightly.
If she only knew… He thought.
As soon as she left, Makoto and Danny went back to the games.
"Ah… starting a love triangle so soon?" Deadpool asks with a wink.
"So it seems. Let's hope hearts and bones won't be broken." FP11 said.
Later
After about another hour at the arcade, Danny and Makoto were now on their way to the movie theater, still walking and talking in deep conversation.
"Are you serious? You only get a few weeks of summer vacation?" 'Danny exclaimed in shock.
"Yes, that's how it works in Japan." Lita answered as she still held onto his arm.
"Bummer…" Danny commented.
Before he and Makoto could talk any further, something happened. They suddenly heard people running and screaming in terror, getting the teenagers attention, along with Danny's ghost sense activating.
"Oh great, what now?" Danny muttered as he saw the crowds of screaming people.
"Run children! Get to safety!" 'An old lady yelled at them before running away.
Danny then saw what was the cause of this big panic.
"I have returned!" A familiar plant monster shouted.
From afar, Danny could see a three-story familiar foe, using his vines to lift two cars in the air.
"Undergrowth's back. I got to-"
Before Danny could think of an excuse to get away in order to go-ghost and fight, Makoto actually hoisted him up and started moving him out of the way.
"Come on!" Makoto went.
"Huh?" 'Danny exclaimed as he found himself being pushed into a nearby restroom by the larger girl.
"Stay here, Danny-kun..it's too dangerous...I'm going to go call the police…" Makoto said before she started running.
Danny blinked, wondering what just happened until it registered to him that Makoto, as far as she knew, carried him to safety.
"Just how strong is that girl?" Danny wondered out loud before he realized what she just did. "Wait… the cops can't handle Undergrowth, I gotta take care of this."
Seeing that he is alone and now has the opportunity, he quickly changed into his ghost half and phased out to go deal with Undergrowth.
"Undergrowth? For real?" FP11 asked as she sipped more water.
"Yeah… I normally want to add a villain of the girl's if she's a heroine… but the Sailor Guardians kind of have a bit of a body count, most of their villains are dead and like 5% of them who live turn good but pretty much disappear. So, I went with one of Danny's." NeoMark said.
"Tis truth. They have made cleaning out the naughty list most gracious. Ho-ho-ho." Deadpool went with a Santa hat.
Both of them stared at him.
"Why are you wearing that? And why are you talking like that?" NeoMark said.
"Well… this chapter was released in December. You need to hurry up if you wanna finish before January." Deadpool stated.
As NeoMark glared at him, FP11 finished another bottle.
"Well… I've heard a lot of people comment on how more action heavy this version was. So, let's see how this turns out…" She said.
With Makoto
Thinking Danny was safe, Makoto marched towards Undergrowth. She saw people had now abandoned the area, making it safe for her to go all out.
"You're a strange Youma and you made the mistake of attacking these innocent people and ruining my date!" Makoto said angrily.
Little did she know, an invisible Danny was watching.
"You dare mistake me for some garden variety creature from Japan?! I am Undergrowth!" Undergrowth said angrily.
"I better-" Danny said, ready to fight.
"Jupiter Power, Make Up!" Makoto shouted as she pulled out what looked to be some kind of pen.
Then a light appeared.
Makoto then appeared to gain some strange powers as many lights appeared and in just a few moments, the light green day dress that she wore was soon replaced with what looked to be a Japanese school uniform, with a really short, green skirt, green boots, gloves and a pink ribbon on her chest, along with what looked to be some sort of golden tiara on her forehead. Once she was done, Danny's jaw dropped.
"What?" Danny exclaimed after the transformation was done.
He couldn't believe it. Another of his blind dates had powers of their own.
This dating service just keep s getting weirder and weirder. Marinette, Lapis, Kula, now her? What's next? I'm dating a fairy? He thought in shock.
Suddenly, Makoto stepped forward with a serious look on her face.
"I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for Love and for Courage. I am Sailor Jupiter! I'll fill you with regret, it'll leave you numb!" Makoto, or Sailor Jupiter, announced before she made an oddly sheepish smile. "Wow… all that time practicing my own introduction and I finally got to do it!" She went with a happy hop. "So… scale of 1 to 10, how was that?"
Undergrowth raised an eyebrow.
"Uh… I guess… an 8?" He asks.
"Okay… so…" Makoto jumped up and suddenly announced an attack. "Supreme Thunder!"
An antenna appeared atop her tiara before an electrical blast hit Undergrowth.
Undergrowth lost an arm.
"Powerful, aren't you?" He asks, not remotely bothered.
"Got you!" Sailor Jupiter said, pleased with making a hit.
"Wow…" Danny said, sounding impressed and smiling when he saw the attack.
Undergrowth then regenerated his arm, much to Sailor Jupiter's shock.
"You're clearly new here, so let me inform you that I cannot be destroyed by such simplistic means!" Undergrowth shouted as he summoned Venus flytraps that surrounded him, ready to attack.
"How's this?!" Sailor Jupiter said as she readied her next attack. "SUPREME THUNDER DRAGON!"
Sailor Jupiter shouted before she summoned a dragon-shaped attack on Undergrowth.
"Wait." FP11 said, causing the scene to pause.
"What's up?" NeoMark asks before spotting several bottles of water on the floor. "Uh… still feeling the caffeine?"
"Huh… oh, don't worry, I feel better. For the most part…" FP11 went before glancing at Deadpool disapprovingly.
"Eheheh…" Deadpool went with an innocent chuckle.
"Let's just hope this will be the LAST time this happens! But… why isn't she using Sparkling Wide Pressure or Jupiter Coconut Cyclone?"
"Oh shoot, I didn't bring this up? I'm basing her on the original anime in this version. I almost went with Crystal, but I figured the original anime was more well known and what most people think of when they think of Sailor Moon." NeoMark said.
"You think so?" FP11 questioned.
"The moves you had her use were from later in the series or from Crystal. As for where Makoto is now… let's say… after the anime exclusive Makai Tree stuff and before Chibi-Usa arrived." NeoMark said.
"Okay… glad to be clarified on this. Also… anyone getting hungry?" FP11 asks.
"We'll grab a bite after this." NeoMark said.
"Serves you right!" Sailor Jupiter shouted victoriously, only to see that Undergrowth simply regenerated once more. "What?!" Sailor Jupiter questioned in confusion.
"Now… where was I?!" Undergrowth shouted before motioning his flytraps to attack, only for them to freeze up in ice, much to his anger. "No! Not again!"
"Um... excuse me...Miss Sailor Jupiter?" Danny Phantom appeared, causing Sailor Jupiter to keep her guard up.
"Who the heck are you?" She questioned.
"Easy there. I'm just a friend, I'm Danny Phantom.
"Danny… Phantom?" She asks before recalling what she heard. "You're the guy my friend has a huge crush on!"
She must mean Minako… She's cute but you're the one I'm with right now. He thought.
"No time to explain. I know how to handle Undergrowth. I'll just freeze him and you-"
"You won't defeat me again, you insect!" Undergrowth shouted as he raised his fist to slam down at the two.
Before Danny could react in time, someone else was present.
"Crescent Beam!" Another girl's voice shouted as a beam hit Undergrowth in the eye.
"GAH!" He went, pulling his fist away to soothe his injured eye as it regenerated.
Danny blinked before looking up to see who did that.
He saw another girl, standing atop a flagpole with her arm out. She was blonde with a bow in her hair, blue eyes and she was wearing an outfit similar to Jupiter's, but she had an orange skirt with a dark blue bow on her chest.
Danny felt his face get warmer before shaking his head.
"Sailor Venus!" Jupiter called out in relief.
Venus landed near the two.
"I saw the plant creature, then I saw a lot of electricity." Venus said as her eyes slowly drifted from Jupiter to Danny. "So I fig- DANNY PHANTOM?!" She suddenly went with a big smile.
"Uh… hi?" Danny went before Venus hugged him tightly.
"I get to meet Danny Phantom?! What a hugely amazing day! And here I thought it'd go bad when my date left early!" She went, almost lifting him off the ground.
"Date? Left early?" He asks, finding what he heard somewhat familiar.
"Hehe… this is the friend I mentioned who has a thing for you." Jupiter said, causing Venus to gasp.
"You told him?! I was supposed to tell him!" Venus said with a pout.
Wait… is this Minako? He asks before noticing she too had a bow in her hair. No duh! How the heck did I miss that?!
Undergrowth shook the pain away and readied himself for battle.
"You will pay for that!" He shouted as he raised his fists again.
"I got this, ladies!" Danny said, trying to sound suave as he raised his hands and fired streams of cold energy out of each of them.
Undergrowth was hit in the chest as his body began to freeze from head to root.
"Wow...cool..." Sailor Jupiter said in amazement.
"I know…" Sailor Venus gushed as she clasped her hands, hearts in her eyes.
"Now… if you ladies would like to do the honors?" He asks as he finishes.
Both Sailor Guardians nodded.
"Supreme… THUNDER!"
"Crescent… BEAM!"
The combined attacks shattered Undergrowth into pieces, sending bits of him all over.
However, one piece landed near their feet. A small root that slowly lifted like a head.
"I am far from defeated!" Undergrowth declared.
Both Sailor Guardians gasped in shock as they took steps back from the root.
"It's still alive?!" Venus questioned.
"How?!" Jupiter asks.
"I got this." Danny said as he took out his Thermos. "Vegetable stew, anyone?" He asks before firing the Thermos, trapping an angered Undergrowth inside. "There we go…" He said, clasping it shut.
Both Sailor Guardians calmed down, seeing their foresting foe finished.
"Thank you, Phantom-san..." Sailor Jupiter said as she even bowed.
"Don't mention it, I'm sort of a ghost hunter here, so it's me who should be saying thanks…" Danny said.
"What can I say, I just cannot sit by and watch innocent people get hurt…" Sailor Jupiter said, sending a smile.
However, Sailor Venus then got in their line of sight as she made wide eyes and sent a happy smile in his face.
"Neither can I! And it was a pleasure to work with someone so cool! And so handsome too!" She gushed.
"Uh… yeah…" Danny said with a nervous smile.
"I'd love to work with you again! If you want, can we go out on a date?" Venus went, slightly annoying Jupiter.
"I… don't know what to say…" Danny responded.
Except sorry Venus, you're a 20 out of 10 on the hot meter, but you're 20 dates too late… He thought in bittersweet amusement.
They suddenly heard police sirens getting closer and closer.
"Thank you Phantom-san, but if you no longer need me, I believe I should be on my way…" Sailor Jupiter said before she left the area.
"S-Sure…" Danny went, still distracted by a lovesick Venus before recalling he had to go too. "Uh… it's been a pleasure, Sailor Venus, but I have to go." He said as he started to hover away.
"Okay…" Venus went before grabbing his wrist. "But first…"
Before Danny could question it, Venus pulled him in and hugged him tightly.
Wow… she feels so soft… Wait. No! Don't think that! He thought, his face turning red.
Venus let him go.
"Sorry… can't resist. Anyway… I gotta go before the local authorities arrive too." She said before waving. "Bye!" She said before jumping high enough to reach a building.
Danny was momentarily distracted by this before recalling what he had to do.
Meanwhile
Sailor Jupiter then hid in a nearby ally, changed back and soon rushed back to the restroom where she placed Danny in for safety.
"Danny...Danny-kun...are you alright?" Makoto called, only to see Danny walk out of that place, safe.
"I'm fine Lita...are you okay?" Danny asked in concern.
"I'm fine, the monster is gone now and everybody is safe now...thanks to the local hero." Makoto said with a smile.
Danny blinked and realized that she is keeping her powers a secret. He wondered if he should tell her than he knows but decided against it. Both Makoto and Minako are clearly keeping their powers a secret for a reason and clearly use them for good.
He figured it was best to let her keep her secret, he knew she must have a reason for not telling him..
"That's good.." 'Danny said as he sent her another smile, admiring her.
"Ah… making this love triangle a bit too early. Almost thought she'd kiss him." Deadpool said.
"I thought that too. I'm surprised you didn't go that route, Neo." FP11 said.
"Almost did… but I knew you'd want Makoto to kiss or be kissed by him first, right?" NeoMark asks.
"You got that right." FP11 said.
After watching a movie and playing a round at the bowling alley, it was getting late and Danny walked Makoto back to the hotel where she and her class were staying at for the remainder of their trip.
"Here we are…" Danny announced as they made it to the hotel.
"Thank you, Danny-kun…" Makoto said in appreciation.
"No problem..." Danny said, still admiring her.
He has so many questions to ask her, about who she really is and how she got her powers but he knew now wasn't the right time to ask those questions. But he still smiled at her.
She and Minako are both beautiful… but she's the one who takes the lead in who I'm most into. And it's not just because she's my date, but that is a deciding factor. He thought.
"I had a lot of fun today, Lita. I liked getting to know you." Danny said to the tall girl, making her blush and look down to her shoes.
Not many people would say they like getting to know me…" She thought happily.
"Thank you, Danny-kun. I liked getting to know you too…" Makoto said, her face was very flushed right now.
"We should hang out again soon…" Danny said, only for the girl to suddenly look sad. "Something wrong?"
"I wish that I could...but me and my class will be returning to Juuban tomorrow..." Makoto said, shocking Danny.
"What? Already?" Danny exclaimed in shock as he saw her nod.
"Our trip was only for a few weeks and it ends tomorrow. Minako and Rei's classes are staying longer since they go to different schools. Not fair…" Makoto said, very frustrated.
I just finally met a nice guy, who actually doesn't mind my strength and who actually thinks that I'm cool. It's so not fair. She thought.
Danny looked disappointed but still sent her a small smile and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen.
"What are you doing?" Makoto asked, only for Danny to hand her said piece of paper.
"It's my email address, along with my phone number...It stinks that you have to leave so soon, but maybe we can still be friends this way…" Danny said.
Makoto looked surprised and then touched.
"Thank you, Danny-kun..." Makoto said, feeling touched when she saw the number.
"Wow… this is looking just like the original story." Deadpool commented. "So… who wants to bet me 50 bucks that he kisses her like before, and nothing new happens ne-"
Before she knew it, she kissed Danny on the cheek, making his face turn red.
"Don't mention it." He said with a smile.
Makoto sheepishly looked away.
"D'OH!" Deadpool went.
"You owe me $50." NeoMark said.
"Me too." FP11 said.
"Wait, what?! Did… did either of you even say yes to my bet?" Deadpool questioned with uncertainty.
"We didn't say no." FP11 said.
"And I'm sure reading this chapter as soon as it's posted will confirm that we did indeed say yes." NeoMark said.
"Oh… okay…" Deadpool said as he rewound the footage to replay what they missed.
"Edit our lines in later?" FP11 asks in a whisper.
"You know it…" NeoMark whispered back.
"What was that?" Deadpool, having not heard them, asks them.
"Oh, nothing." FP11 said with an innocent smile that he bought.
"Sorry. Most boys aren't really into girls as tall or tough as me, so-" Makoto started.
Before she could continue, she suddenly felt a pair of lips on her right cheek. It lasted only half a second but Danny had kissed Makoto on her cheek, and it resulted in the tall girl blushing the same shade as her rose earrings.
She looked at Danny, not knowing what to say while the blue eyed boy kept smiling at her.
"Consider that my way of saying goodbye...and thanks...for...you know..." Danny said.
Makoto assumed that he was referring to helping him with his bullies, but Danny did that both for that and unknowingly helping him with Undergrowth. The blushing girl was still looking at him in awe.
"I guess… we're both thankful." She said with a smile.
"Anyway, I should get home before I miss my curfew...Goodbye Li- I mean, Makoto Kino. Maybe someday we could hang out again…" Danny said as he waved at her.
Makoto timidly waved back, even after the boy was finally out of sight.
Once he was gone, the tall girl let out a dreamy sigh, feeling her heart beating like crazy and touching the cheek that he kissed.
"Danny...why didn't I notice before...you're...you're just like the guy who broke my heart…" Makoto sighed as her heart kept beating like mad.
She walked into the hotel, ignoring everyone and even her friends who asked her how her blind date went. The tall sailor guardian just had a smile on her face as she continued to think about that boy she just went out with, who, whether he realizes it or not, just found a special place in her heart.
"And that's the chapter." NeoMark said.
"Finally… it's been forever. That went better than I imagined." FP11 said.
"Yup. I deserve a break again. Let's grab a bite." NeoMark said.
"Cool… but first… I gotta powder my nose…" FP11 said before glancing angrily at Deadpool. "Considering I drank more water in one hour than I do in an entire day."
Deadpool shrugged innocently.
"So… where to? Eat, I mean." Deadpool said.
"... anyone want Italian?" NeoMark suggested.
