You must be curious about why I have two stories going on simultaneously. Well, I'll explain to you. This story you're reading was the first one I came up with. It's a little unconventional, but the plot and characters helped me land a job as an assistant script writer in the entertainment industry. I am truly grateful for this opportunity, and I hope my stories continue to entertain and captivate readers. Oh, and to be clear, I do not own any of the Boys Over Flowers characters used in this story.

Geum Jan Di was a legendary figure in the martial arts world, known as the fire phoenix, born to the leader of the martial arts sect and the daughter of the flame's daughter, the grandmaster of the martial arts world. Her birth was a sign of hope, as her mother had defeated the dark palace and brought stability to the martial arts world. Geum Jan Di's destiny was to bring balance and harmony to the martial arts world, a task she was determined to fulfill. However, before she could do that, she had to experience real life outside her home and face numerous challenges and obstacles that would test her strength and determination to overcome them. She trained tirelessly to master the art of martial arts, learning different techniques and styles from various masters.

And these were the fundamental skills she needed to defend herself outside her home.

Jan Di took her first steps into the grand and famous Shinhwa High School, feeling a mix of awe and trepidation. She had grown up in a traditional family and had never experienced the world of modern society until a few months ago when she met an old gentleman who took her under his wing. Now, she and the old gentleman lived in a small apartment above a small clinic that he owned. As she walked through the halls of the high school, she couldn't help but notice how different it was from the schools she had attended in the past. The walls were adorned with colorful posters and banners, and the students seemed dressed in the latest fashions.

Jan Di felt a bit out of place as she didn't have unique except the jade bracelet her mother had given her and a jade hairpin with intricate carvings of a Lion representing her supreme authority in the martial arts world.

Jan Di always carried herself with poise and nobility when she was out in public, exuding an air of elegance and grace that left many in awe. However, beneath her calm demeanor, she was someone who had mastered the art of kung fu, a skill that she had honed through many hours of dedicated practice.

Jan Di was a woman of many talents, one of which was her ability to read people's minds. She had an incredible memory that allowed her to recall even the most minor details, and right now, she could sense that someone was watching her, their gaze fixated on the hair that covered her behind, almost reaching the level of her uniform skirt. She felt a tingling sensation on the back of her neck, sending a shiver down her spine.

Jan Di's instincts kicked in, and she swiftly turned around to catch a glimpse of the mysterious onlooker, but they vanished into the bustling crowd. Despite her efforts to shake off the uneasy feeling, she couldn't help but overhear two girls whispering about her.

One of the girls whispered, "Look at her hair, it's so long and beautiful. I wonder how long it took her to grow it." She couldn't resist the urge to touch it, but quickly suppressed the thought.

Her friend chimed in, "I know right? It looks so healthy and shiny, like one of those actresses from those ancient movies."

Jan Di smiled, feeling satisfied with the way her hair looked, and it grabbed everyone's attention. She knew that her hair was one of her best features, a result of the care and attention she gave to it daily. Having maids around who were always at her service also helped in maintaining her hair's lusciousness. With a smile on her face, she opened the brand-new black leather bag that her Grandpa had given her for school. As she rummaged through the backpack, she found a handwritten note from Grandpa expressing his love and support for her academic journey. Along with the note was a map of Shinhwa High School, marking the exact location of every building in the school. But what caught her attention was the fact that the school had a swimming pool.

"I should check it out," she muttered to herself, following the map to find the pool. As she made her way through the school, she felt a surge of excitement at the thought of having access to a swimming pool. She imagined herself swimming during breaks or after school, and the idea seemed like a dream come true.

Her anticipation grew with each step, and she couldn't wait to see the pool for herself. However, her excitement was short-lived as she heard a beautiful melody from a violin echoing through the autumn air of the forest. The sound was so enchanting that she immediately forgot about the swimming pool and followed the melody, eager to discover its source.

As she ventured deeper into the forest, the vibrant colors of autumn leaves and the crisp breeze added to the magical atmosphere, making her forget about her initial desire to swim. Instead, she became immersed in this unexpected musical journey that grew louder with each passing step. She eventually arrived at a wooden bench and stood before the man who had enchanted her with his music.

As a member of her sect, she was surrounded by many attractive men, but this particular man stood out as beyond handsome. His striking features were meticulously sculpted, with chiseled cheekbones and a prominent jawline. His golden hair cascaded down his neck in soft waves, framing his angular face perfectly. His nose was slender and straight, leading down to his full, rosy lips that seemed to curl into an effortless smile. The beauty of his appearance left her in awe, and she couldn't take her eyes off him.

Ji Hoo was completely immersed in the beautiful melody of his music, his eyes shut tight as his soul soared high. But the sudden and sweet scent of jasmine caught his attention, and he immediately sensed someone's presence around him. Initially irritated, he opened his eyes, hoping it wasn't one of those crazy girls who kept chasing him, but to his surprise, he saw a girl he had never met before gazing at him with her eyes locked on his every move.

As he looked at her, something stirred inside him. She was different from all the other girls he had met before. There was an unexplainable aura about her that drew him in. He couldn't help but admire every feature of hers - from the delicate jade hairpin that held her hair in place, to her mesmerizing doe-like eyes, her petite nose, and her cherry-red lips inviting him to take a bite. It was as if she were a character from one of his favorite fairy tales coming to life. And in that moment, Ji Hoo knew that he had to get to know her better, no matter what it took.

He took a deep breath and studied her. Her flawless porcelain skin and soft, silky hair fluttering in the breeze made her look like an angel standing in front of him. He could feel his heart racing, and he knew that he had to make a move. He slowly took her hairpin, feeling the softness of her hair against his fingertips, and cleared his throat, ready to introduce himself.

"…" Ji Hoo cleared his throat, causing Jan Di to turn her attention towards him. He snapped his fingers before her eyes, causing her to startle. Her heart skipped a beat at his unexpected gesture, and she felt a sudden rush of blood to her cheeks, turning them rosy. She couldn't help but feel a little uneasy as she realized she was standing too close to him, invading his personal space. However, Ji Hoo's calm and composed demeanor indicated he was not upset or angry with her. He sat on a nearby bench, motioning for her to join him. Jan Di watched him intently, her curiosity piqued by his behavior and his calmness in the situation.

His eyes widened in surprise as he gazed at her, taking in every detail of her appearance with a keen interest. "Excuse me, but I don't believe we've met before. Are you new here?" he said, his voice laced with curiosity. He delicately reached out to touch the jade hairpin, holding her hair in place and running his fingers over the intricate lion design etched on it. The way he examined the hairpin suggested that he was admiring its beauty and trying to glean some information about its owner.

Jan Di felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment as she realized she must have looked like a complete fool standing there, lost in thought. "Yes, I just transferred to this school. My name is Jan Di," she said, finally finding her voice. She was surprised by how easily the words came out of her mouth.

Jan Di couldn't help but feel a sense of intrigue as she watched Ji Hoo's eyes light up with interest while he carefully played with the delicate jade hairpin. She couldn't help but notice how the intricate details of the hairpin seemed to come alive in his hands, and she wondered what thoughts were running through his mind as he examined it so closely. It was evident that he was fascinated by it, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity about what he was thinking or feeling at that moment. 'Does he like it? Even if he likes it, it's mine!'

"Yoon Ji Hoo," he said with a smile. It was unusual for him to give such a warm smile to a stranger, but for some reason, he felt an instant connection with Jan Di.

As she approached him, she couldn't help but feel a little apprehensive about asking for her hairpin back. "Can I have my hairpin back?" she asked, extending her hand with a polite smile. She didn't want to come across as rude, but the fact that he still held onto it made her uneasy.

Ji Hoo grinned, handing back the hairpin, but he quickly withdrew his hand as soon as she was about to take it. "I will keep this as compensation for watching me play music for free," he said with a chuckle.

The way he uttered those words left her wondering if he was pulling her leg, but she wasn't sure. Should she confront him or let it slide to avoid any awkwardness? Jan Di was caught in a dilemma. She had never seen anyone as audacious as him before, and his behavior left her baffled. "Hold on there!" she exclaimed. "That means the world to me, so please return it."

Jan Di's heart skipped a beat as she caught sight of her hairpin in Ji Hoo's possession. She couldn't believe her eyes and immediately tried to retrieve it with her magical powers, but to her dismay, she failed. Her determination, however, didn't waver, and she boldly began tugging on his violin case, hoping to overpower him.

Ji Hoo, an ordinary man but still firm, refused to give in to Jan Di's demands.

"Give me back my hairpin," she pleaded, desperation lacing her voice as she pulled at the case.

Ji Hoo's grip on the violin case tightened, and he replied, "No, I won't give in that easily," his tone firm and resolute. The feeling of her hairpin in his possession was too sweet to surrender it just like that.

Jan Di's heart sank as she realized the futility of her attempts. "This isn't just any ordinary hairpin…please give it back," she pleaded, hoping to appeal to Ji Hoo's sense of fairness.

"I said no way." Ji Hoo stood up, a bead of sweat trickling down his forehead. He held the case tightly, determined not to let Jan Di have her way. "I will return it to you when the time is right," he said with a mischievous smile before turning his back and walking away. "See you around, Miss Beautiful!" he called out, his voice filled with a mix of playfulness and boldness he never knew he had.

Ji Hoo found himself perplexed as he held onto Jan Di's hairpin, hesitating to return it to her. Even though he had just met her, he was experiencing a mix of new emotions. A part of him felt liberated, as if he had finally broken free from the selfless and limiting nature that had governed his actions for so long. This was not a feeling he could brush aside and ignore. He was drawn to Jan Di's presence, and the hairpin was now a physical reminder of the moment that had unlocked this newfound sense of freedom within him.

Jan Di was feeling mixed emotions after her encounter with Ji Hoo, the mysterious man who refused to return her hairpin. She was frustrated that he wouldn't give it back, but at the same time, she was curious about him. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of person he was and his motivations for keeping her precious treasure. As she walked away, she felt the weight of the tension in the air and couldn't shake off the feeling that this was just the beginning of something bigger. Her mind was racing with questions, and she couldn't wait to uncover the secrets that Ji Hoo was hiding. 'Why can't I read his mind?'

As she made her way toward her class, Jan Di's frustration from her earlier encounter with Ji Hoo was still palpable. "I will teach you a lesson later," she muttered, her mind still dwelling on the unpleasantness. As she walked towards the building, she couldn't help but notice a private parking lot with a vast 'F4' banner hanging above it. The lot had three cars and a motorbike parked, all of which looked expensive and luxurious. Four boys, all of them dressed in designer clothes, were standing around and chatting. One of them was Ji Hoo, who had annoyed her but also captured her attention earlier. She couldn't deny the allure of his charismatic presence, even though she was still upset with him.

Feeling a sudden rush of annoyance, the girl hurried past the group, trying to avoid drawing any attention towards herself. "I will see you later," she muttered under her breath, her voice barely audible as she walked away from the group.

Jan Di was alone in the middle of a bustling school courtyard, surrounded by unfamiliar faces. But then, out of nowhere, a stunning girl caught her eye. She was about Jan Di's age, with long, wavy hair, dark brown eyes, and a complexion that looked as smooth as silk. As she approached Jan Di, a warm smile spread across her face, and she asked, "Hey there…are you new here?"

Jan Di sighed in relief that someone was finally talking to her and nodded. The girl continued, "I've never seen Ji Hoo so playful with anyone," gesturing towards a group of boys standing nearby. "Don't mind him if he annoyed you; that's not his usual self."

Intrigued, Jan Di asked, "And who might you be?"

"I am Chu Ga Eul, a friend to Ji Hoo and the boys he's standing with." She introduced herself, smiling warmly at Jan Di. "And you are?"

"Geum Jan Di." Jan Di replied, extending her hand for a handshake. "Nice to meet you."

Ga Eul shook her hand gently, saying, "Likewise, Jan Di-ah." The two girls hit it off, chatting and getting to know each other better.

"How did Ji Hoo annoy you?" Ga Eul asked as she held a small jewelry box in her hands.

"He took my hairpin." Jan Di replied, tugging her hair so it wouldn't be messy. "My hair is long, and I need to tie it." She continued pulling in her hair to make a ponytail but failed miserably as her hair kept slipping out of her hands.

Ga Eul giggled, "Use this. Ji Hoo asked me to look for the girl with the longest traditional hair, and no one in school besides you has that type of hair," Ga Eul said, handing Jan Di the jewelry box. "He thought you would appreciate it."

Jan Di opened the box to find a beautiful hairpin adorned with delicate flowers. She smiled. "When can I get my hairpin back?"

"He didn't talk about it. Let me help you fix your hair," Ga Eul offered. Jan Di gratefully accepted Ga Eul's offer and handed her the hairpin.

As Ga Eul deftly secured the hairpin in Jan Di's hair, she couldn't help but marvel at how beautiful Jan Di looked. The way Jan Di's hair flowed down her back in luscious waves made her look like one of those actresses in Chinese movies, and Ga Eul couldn't help but comment on it.

"How have you managed to grow such hair?" she asked Jan Di in amazement.

Jan Di chuckled and replied, "I guess it's just good genes and a lot of care. But to be honest, I've been using mostly traditional hair care methods that most people throw away. My mother taught me how to make homemade hair masks and use natural oils, and they've been incredibly effective."

Ga Eul nodded in agreement, impressed by Jan Di's natural beauty and resourcefulness. "Can I borrow some from you?" she asked eagerly.

Jan Di smiled and nodded. "Of course! I'd be happy to share my hair care secrets with you. Just let me know when you want to try them out."

Grateful for the offer, Ga Eul thanked her friend and couldn't wait to try out Jan Di's homemade hair masks and natural oils, hoping they would work their magic on her hair. However, her thoughts soon turned to Ji Hoo, and she couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy.

As the only girl in the F4, Ga Eul was used to the four boys doting on her like crazy. However, she couldn't help but notice that Ji Hoo seemed to have a special connection with Jan Di despite her being a stranger.

"He never smiles like that around me, especially his best friends," Ga Eul thought to herself, wondering what made Jan Di so special to Ji Hoo. She quickly brushed off her jealousy, reminding herself that their friendship was platonic. Besides, Ji Hoo was in love with Min Seo Hyun, and she had her sights set on Song Woo Bin.

"You are special," Ga Eul said to Jan Di, hoping to reassure her friend. "Ji Hoo smiled genuinely for the first time when he met you, which means you must have made quite an impression on him."

Jan Di smiled back, grateful for Ga Eul's kind words. "It's nice to see him so happy," she added, knowing Ji Hoo had been going through a tough time lately.

Ji Hoo and Ga Eul paused outside the entrance, their conversation hushed. Ji Hoo's eyes darted down to the jade hairpin in his hand before he spoke, addressing Ga Eul.

"Ga Eul," he said, his voice low and hesitant. "Have you given Jan Di the hairpin?"

Ga Eul's reply was calm and collected. "Yes, I did," she said, her eyes fixed on Ji Hoo. "Why don't you give her back her hairpin?"

Ji Hoo's lips curled into his signature smile, but there was a hint of uncertainty in his eyes. "If I give it to her, then there will be no reason to see her, and I want to keep seeing her."

Ga Eul's jealousy flared briefly, but she pushed it away and asked him a question. "Is it her hair you like, or is it something else about her?"

Ji Hoo's gaze shifted from the hairpin to Ga Eul's face, and he bit his lower lip before answering. "I think she's special. There's something about her that I can't quite explain. It's not just her hair; it's the way she carries herself and makes me feel when I'm around her."

He paused for a moment before continuing. "And you know...this is the first time I have been playful with a stranger. I felt alive for the first time and warm all over myself."

Ga Eul listened to Ji Hoo's words, her expression thoughtful. "I also like her because she brings out a side of you I've never seen before. It's like she's unlocked a hidden part of your personality, and it's refreshing to witness."

Ga Eul paused, her eyes filled with curiosity. "I hope you don't annoy her again," she nudged on his side playfully. "But I must admit, seeing you so lively and happy is a sight to behold. It's like you've found a new lease on life." Ga Eul's voice softened, her concern evident. "Just be careful not to push her away with your playful antics. You wouldn't want to lose that newfound warmth and liveliness."

"I promise I won't." Ji Hoo replied.

...

"Enough of the chitchat between you two; come, we must make our entrance." Gu Jun Pyo said, and his friends rolled their eyes.

For God's sake, what was the need to make entrances every time? To show off that they were the F4? Or was it just their way of asserting their dominance? "Again, Gu Jun Pyo?" his friends groaned in exasperation.

"Yes!"

"I think I will pass." Ga Eul said, walking in first, not wanting to be caught up in their unnecessary drama. She had always found their grand entrances quite tiresome, and she preferred to avoid the extreme attention they brought. Plus, she had never been one for showing off or asserting dominance; she was more interested in genuine connections and meaningful interactions, especially with Geum Jan Di, whom she just met. and already felt a strong bond with.

A student's voice shouting, "It's F4," echoed through the air, reaching the ears of anyone within earshot. Jan Di, who was going about her business, looked around in confusion, trying to figure out what was happening. She noticed a swarm of students rushing down the stairs, pushing her out of the way as they jostled to glimpse the famous F4. Jan Di felt a mix of curiosity and apprehension as she wondered what made this group so unique that they commanded such attention.

As the crowd cleared, Jan Di saw four boys strolling through the front door, two so tall that their friends had trouble seeing over their heads. When Jan Di's eyes met Ji Hoo's, her heart skipped a beat, and her mouth fell open. She blinked a few times and returned her attention to the four boys. One of them separated from the group and approached a random student standing in the crowd, his eyes cold and distant.

The random student gulped nervously, unsure of what was about to happen next. "Is something wrong?" the boy asked, uncertainly looking up into the man's eyes.

"I will give you the account of three," the boy said coldly.

"For…what?" The student raised his brows and inquired but received no response. Instead, the curly-haired teen began counting down. "One, two, three…" He yanked the student by the collar as he finished counting down toward him. "Woo Bin-ah, do you still have some juice?"

His companion nodded and handed him a bottle of brightly colored juice. The curly-haired boy unscrewed and tossed the cap aside before opening the student's uniform blazer, revealing his white chest. The boy sprayed juice on his uniform and handed the empty bottle to the student. Jan Di couldn't help but be dumbfounded by the boy's bizarre behavior, and what made matters worse was that Ji Hoo didn't do anything to stop him.

Jan Di was frozen in place, taken aback by the strange behavior of the F4 and the crowd's reaction to them. "What kind of person is that? What's the deal with everyone here?" Jan Di exclaimed loudly, trying to make sense of everything.

As the F4 walked away, Ji Hoo's steps slowed, his eyes scanning the scene unfolding before him. He had just witnessed his best friend Gu Jun Pyo and the rest of the F4 wield their power over a helpless student who happened to wear a shirt of the same brand as Gu Jun Pyo. Ji Hoo couldn't help but feel ashamed of their actions and noticed how crestfallen Jan Di appeared to be due to F4's behavior. Her disappointment was palpable, and it only added to Ji Hoo's dismay. He knew that the F4's power could be toxic, and it was times like these that made him question their use of it.

Ji Hoo had inherited a great fortune after his parents passed away, and as a result, everything that belonged to the Yoon family was now under his ownership. Despite his immense wealth, he never let his financial status define him or distinguish him from other people. This was a stark contrast to the flamboyant and ostentatious behavior of Gu Jun Pyo, who loved to flaunt his position as the heir of the Shinhwa Group and wield his wealth and influence over people. Jun Pyo's status gave him a sense of entitlement, which he used to justify his bullying behavior towards other students in school.

In contrast, Ji Hoo strongly believed in treating everyone with respect and kindness, regardless of their social standing or financial status. He could never fathom why Jun Pyo felt the need to assert his dominance over others and make them feel inferior. This fundamental difference in their values and beliefs often led to conflicts and disagreements between them. Ji Hoo's humble and gracious nature made him question the true meaning of power and success in life. He wondered if it was more important to accumulate wealth and material possessions or to lead a life based on kindness, empathy, and compassion towards others.

Ji Hoo, sporting a crestfallen expression, took measured steps towards Jan Di, who was still in a state of disappointment. He approached her cautiously, his voice soft and gentle. "Hey," he began, "I hope you don't-" but before he could finish, she cut him off mid-sentence.

"My hairpin," she interjected, her voice resonating with frustration.

Ji Hoo quickly noticed the anger in her eyes and the disappointment etched on her face. "Jan Di-ah," he called out to her, hoping to pacify her.

"Jan Di-ah? Since when did we go to informal levels of addressing each other? Don't forget you and I met today, not five years ago." Jan Di snapped, her tone sharp and cutting. She took out the hairpin he had gifted her, her demeanor filled with rage. " You are cute and thought you had a kind heart, but it seems you're just like the rest. Give me back my hairpin, and I hope I never run into you," she said, her words laced with bitterness.

Ji Hoo's face fell, realizing the magnitude of his actions toward their newfound friendship. He desperately tried to explain himself, but Jan Di had already stormed off, leaving him with a heavy heart.

Ji Hoo held the hairpin tightly in his hands, his chest heaving with mixed emotions. In just a few brief minutes, he had already developed a profound connection with Jan Di, a girl he had just met. His heart ached as he realized the depth of his feelings for her.

Ga Eul approached him with a gentle smile, offering her support and understanding. "Are you still hoping to see her after what she just witnessed?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. "Jan Di is not like us."

Ji Hoo's thoughts were jumbled, his mind racing with the possibility of seeing Jan Di again. "I still want to see her," he said softly, "and let her know that I am different. I want to show her that I have a kind heart and that I am more than just a wealthy and handsome man."

Ga Eul regarded him with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. "Why do you need to explain that to a stranger?" she asked. "You only just met her, and already you've taken her hairpin and replaced it with a beautiful one. Have you fallen for her?"

Ji Hoo's heart skipped a beat at the mention of his feelings for Jan Di. "Maybe," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "But I just want to see her again, to talk to her and get to know her better. Is that too much to ask?"

"What about your feelings for Seo Hyun?"

"I don't know…" he walked off to his class.

After a long day of classes, Jan Di walked wearily to the clinic carrying her adopted grandfather's favorite pumpkin porridge. Her feet ached from walking in her new school shoes all day, but she couldn't wait to see Grandpa and tell him all about her first day at Shinhwa High.

As she made her way to the clinic, Jan Di called out, "Grandpa, I'm home!" But there was no answer. She placed the porridge on the table and looked around the clinic, which seemed empty. Just then, she heard footsteps and the sound of the door opening.

Grandpa stepped out of his dimly lit office, rubbing his eyes as they adjusted to the brightness of the living room. As he turned to face Jan Di, his face lit up with a warm smile, and his eyes shone with pride. "How was your first day at school, my dear?" he asked, his voice filled with anticipation and excitement, eager to hear every detail of her experience.

Jan Di let out a sigh and replied, "It was tough. First, I met this guy named Ji Hoo, who was annoyingly quiet, and then I met the F4—a group of four arrogant boys who think they run the school."

Grandpa's eyes widened in surprise. "You mean Yoon Ji Hoo?" he asked.

Jan Di nodded, her voice tinged with annoyance. "Yes, that's the one. He's part of the F4 group, and he even took my hairpin, replacing it with a cheap one."

Jan Di's words seemed to stir something within Grandpa, causing his mind to drift off to the memories of his own grandson, Yoon Ji Hoo. He couldn't help but reminisce about the times they shared together, even though he hadn't seen him in fifteen years, ever since he had made the heartbreaking decision to abandon him. Grandpa couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that had plagued him since that day, and he often found himself wondering if he would ever get the chance to make things right. Even after all this time, the love he felt for Yoon Ji Hoo remained strong, and he hoped that someday, somehow, he would be able to make amends for his past mistakes and be reunited with his beloved grandson.

Grandpa sat on his favorite rocking chair, staring blankly at the wall in front of him, lost in his thoughts. Suddenly, he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder, and Jan Di's voice brought him back to the present. "Grandpa!" she said, her tone urgent.

Grandpa looked at her with a hint of sadness in his eyes, realizing that he had been lost in his thoughts for quite some time. "I'm sorry, Jan Di," he said. "I didn't hear you. What were you saying?"

"Porridge is ready, Grandpa," Jan Di replied. "You should eat before it gets cold. I shall clean up the clinic and prepare dinner for us."

With a warm smile, Grandpa expressed his gratitude to Jan Di, thanking God for bringing her into his life. He reminisced about the day when he woke up to find a young girl dressed in a beautiful red-styled Hanfu dress standing at his doorstep. Her hair was styled in a traditional yet slightly messy way, adorned with a jade hairpin and a jade bracelet around her wrist. He was intrigued by the fire-flaming wings that seemed to be burning through her back. Without any hesitation, he welcomed her into his home.

"Grandpa," she had said, and from that moment on, Jan Di became an inseparable part of his life. She took care of him and the clinic with utmost dedication and sincerity and, over time, had become more than just a granddaughter to him. She was his guardian angel, always there to guide and support him through thick and thin. Grandpa felt blessed to have her in his life and cherished every moment spent with her.

As they enjoyed their simple yet nutritious meal, Jan Di's culinary skills shone through, as she often experimented with various ingredients and flavors to create unique and delicious dishes. Her belief was that food should not only nourish the body but also delight the senses. During their dinner, Grandpa noticed that Jan Di's hairpin was missing and inquired about it. Jan Di looked down at her plate, and a hint of melancholy appeared in her eyes as she finally admitted, "It's Ji Hoo. Grandpa, could you tell me more about the F4 and their background?"

Seok Young agreed to explain and asked Jan Di to get her phone. He quickly pulled up a search engine and began to delve into the topic. "The F4 is a group of four wealthy and influential boys who attend Shinhwa High School," he began. "They are known for their power and control over the student body, with Gu Jun Pyo being their leader and the heir to the Shinhwa Group. The other three members are Yoon Ji Hoo, So Yi Jung, and Song Woo Bin, each coming from a prestigious family with their unique talents and personalities."

Seok Young continued, "Their privileged backgrounds and status often lead them to disregard the feelings and opinions of others. They believe that their wealth and influence give them the right to act however they please, which can be arrogant and disrespectful."

Jan Di was curious and asked her grandfather to provide more information about Song Woo Bin. Being oblivious to the F4's background, she inched closer to her grandfather. He then proceeded to tell her that Song Woo Bin was the son of the founders of II-Sim Construction, which is considered the construction industry's blue-chip stock. They are real estate tycoons and the head family of the organization, dating back 50 years. They own several high-class clubs and saloons and are highly valued in cash mobilization. They are regarded as the King Wang Jjang in that regard.

"This is So Yi Jeong, a member of the F4 and a master of pottery and ceramics," her grandfather proudly declared, pointing towards the young man. "He hails from a family of renowned artists and is a true prodigy in his field. His talent for creating exquisite pieces is unparalleled, and his family's prestigious art gallery showcases some of the finest masterpieces in the world. They are highly influential figures in the art world and are often sought after by collectors and enthusiasts, adding to their reputation as artistic royalty. He is a genius ceramic artist who achieved fame at a young age, having debuted at the Biennale when he was just 16. He is one of the few young artists recognized by UNESCO for his outstanding contributions to the art world."

Jan Di's eyes widened in admiration as she read about So Yi Jeong's background. "It's impressive that he made it on his own," she whispered softly. "His grandfather, So Yoon Hee, was an independence fighter and the owner of the Woo Song Museum, which makes his success even more remarkable."

"How much does he earn?" Jan Di couldn't help but ask out of curiosity, wondering about the financial success that must come with such artistic achievements. Given his exceptional talent and recognition by UNESCO, she couldn't imagine the wealth that So Yi Jeong must have accumulated at such a young age.

Her grandfather chuckled and replied, "If I told you, your head would start hurting!"

"And this is Yoon Ji Hoo, my..." her grandfather trailed off, his voice barely above a whisper as he reached to touch the picture frame. "My grandson."

Jan Di's eyes widened in disbelief. She had been living with the former president of South Korea in a modest apartment for several months, and he had always behaved like an ordinary man. It was hard for her to fathom that the unassuming man she had come to know as her adopted grandfather was related to someone as important as Ji Hoo.

As she sat with her grandfather, she couldn't help but ask, "Why are you not staying with him?"

The old man looked at her with a compassionate gaze and replied, "If I stay with him, his life will be in danger, and I don't want that."

She nodded in understanding but couldn't help feeling worried about her grandfather's safety. "I see. Don't worry, Grandpa," she reassured him with a smile. "When I am at school, this fire phoenix girl will protect him."

Her grandfather chuckled, knowing that his granddaughter was a fierce protector. "I know that, but let me tell you more about him," he said with a smile. "He is a kind-hearted boy and a talented musician who can play almost all the musical instruments with great skill and passion."

As Grandpa spoke about his grandson, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. "He owns the Suam Art Center, a European soccer team, and a major league baseball team. He has worked hard to achieve his success, but he has not forgotten where he came from."

Jan Di was amazed by Yoon Ji Hoo's impressive accomplishments and wealth. Intrigued, she continued reading to learn more about his life and interests. "He also loves painting and spends a lot of his free time creating beautiful works of art," she read with a smile.

As Grandpa spoke, Jan Di rolled her eyes in annoyance. "And last but not least, is Gu Jun Pyo, the leader of the F4," he said, introducing her to the group.

She couldn't help but add her own opinion. "I also saw him at school, and he's the worst."

Grandpa chuckled softly, seemingly unfazed by her comment. "Gu Jun Pyo is the leader of the F4, the heir of the Shinhwa Group, one of the largest conglomerates in South Korea. Despite his immense wealth and status, he is known for his arrogant and bold personality, which has earned him a reputation among students who fear him. However, there are also rumors that he has a kind heart."

Jan Di scoffed, "He will never have a kind heart."

The morning after, Ji Hoo found himself at his usual secret spot, a quiet stairwell that provided a peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of school life. He decided to take a nap before his classes began for the day. The gentle sound of his breathing was the only noise in the stairwell until he was suddenly awakened by the sound of the school bell ringing, indicating the start of the day's classes. He stood up, stretching his arms and legs, and prepared to head to his day's first class.

As he turned to leave, he saw something that took him by surprise. Jan Di, the girl he had met earlier, with her fiery wings spread out wide like an eagle, was flying towards the stairwell with incredible speed and grace. Ji Hoo watched in awe as she landed gracefully beside him, her wings slowly retracting into her back. The sight of her wings was both beautiful and powerful, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and curiosity.

"You!" he pointed at her, backing away slightly. "You have wings? Who are you?" he asked, his voice filled with amazement and confusion.

"My hairpin, and I will answer you."
