GS: Where the Crossroad Lies.
I do not own Naruto, nor do I own The Walking Dead.
I hope everyone who reads this, sees this as a love letter to everyone who is a fan of Telltale's The Walking Dead and to our beloved character - Clementine - whom we grew up alongside this heartfelt story. I hope I can live up to writing this, because I'm going through the game once more and seeing the walkthroughs from others with different decisions.
I have a lot of things to say and before anyone reads any further, please know that this contains OC and AU. The story may and will change over time, meaning some events will be changed and certain characters will die or live. This chapter is short because I need everyone to get a grasp on my writing style and feel comfortable with it. I want this to be like a read and get a feel on whether you want to continue reading it at your own pace. It has supernatural elements to it because it involves Naruto and another key thing involving the Naruto world (hence the initial letter starting with G.)
This chapter may come out confusing, perhaps weird and possibly no good. I tried to fix any mistakes and rewrote anything that seemed out of place.
Please review and tell me what you think.

Prologue Chapter: A Future that is.
...
Was there such a thing as 'feeling' emptiness?
On days like these, you could feel it. The world felt so much bigger and emptier. A person could feel the stillness in the air. It wasn't cold. It was cool against the skin. You could hear the soft breeze pressing against whatever was around, making nearby brush of leaves shudder before the soft tweet of birds chimed in after.
Clementine felt that moment.
She could feel it, but she couldn't see it.
Clementine was left blinded as strong and coarse hands pressed softly against her eyes and cover whatever was in front of her.
"Okay, what am I looking at?" Clementine asked with a soft giggle.
At first, it seemed like nothing more than a ridiculous game to her. She laughed a little, a light wholehearted sound that couldn't be anymore sweet to the person who was covering her eyes. And seeming to respond her wish that person did take off their hands and let her see for the first time.
The light was blinding at first, making her blink once, twice and then thrice.
At first, Clementine was confused.
It didn't look any different from any other place she'd been through. The ruined buildings and the overgrown brush of trees and plants took back everything. It was dirty and unwashed. Even the concrete underneath Clementine's boots were cracked and fissured, tree roots and vines tore through over the years. Surrounding the house was an old wooden fence covered in vines and moss, all of it was rotted to hell and looked dangerously flimsy.
And the house looked worse. All the windows were broken, the paint cracked and chipped away, and wooden tiles that once decorated it had rotted away.
Her lean brows furrowed together. There was a confused expression on Clementine's face as she wondered why she was here. What made this place important? The more she looked, the more something clicked when her eyes fell on an old treehouse.
A quick and sudden moment of realization hit her like a bullet.
Clementine couldn't find the words to speak, struggling to swallow the cold lump that formed in her throat.
What could she say? There was so much that couldn't be expressed in just words alone.
Clementine turned over to see the person who brought her here.
He had short, cropped, bright yellow hair and tan colored skin. Seen on his face were three dark lines decorating both sides of his cheeks. And his eyes were a brilliant shade of purple. He stood taller than her, dressed in torn and weathered clothing just like her only with a black coat over it. A thick worn-out leather belt was fastened on the outside with a sword hilt jutting out.
"Why did you bring me here, Naruto?" Clementine asked.
The confusion on her face was evident enough. Naruto pulled away from Clementine and made his way closer to the ruined treehouse. Clementine followed where they both stopped, Clementine standing behind him, and they both looked at the old wooden structure punctured by thick tree branches with only the wooden bay still intact.
"This was where it all started for us." Naruto answered. There was a soberness in his voice, an etched of longing and nostalgia blooming in his chest.
Clementine saw him bring up his hand and wave it slowly.
The young woman recognized what he just did.
There was a beautiful glow of a greenish-blue light spreading all around, the world rippling like water and unfolding like a sheet slowly revealing something underneath. The world that Clementine had come to know had changed instantly, instead of the ruined house and overgrown foliage, everything had become well-preserved and pristine.
Everything looked exactly as it did before the walking dead.
Clementine could hear the sound of cars and the roaring of a plane over her head.
"Happy birthday, Clementine."
...
That's all for this chapter, it leaves as a cliffhanger.
