So… Hi. Yea I don't really have an excuse for why this took so long, I just kept telling myself "I'd start writing tomorrow", tomorrow became a week, two weeks, more… Yea.
I'll try to get back to updating this regularly again, but I can't make any promises.

Dis0rd3r: Sonic turning enemies into friends or at least allies is one of his greatest skills. And yea, a lot of characters are stuck because they consider things impossible or pointless, but Sonic goes against that, he's always willing to try new things and run forward.
The Demon Pillars are planning things, and they're trying to deal with Sonic without Goetia having to intervene.
clownreaper96: Heroes are just built different, and after Flauros was humiliated by Sonic in Fuyuki, Vapula isn't exactly having any confidence in him. Okeanos isn't going to be fun for Sonic.
ultima-owner: Sonic vs his ultimate enemy, THE OCEAN! But yea thinking you can kill Sonic in the ocean does make sense, even if it won't work.
Dxhologram: Tristan is indeed getting a second chance, but until he talks to Saber Artoria, he can't fully atone to himself. I plan for more of the Round Table, however they will not be the only focus.
Reversus12: I tried to make every version of Elizabeth, both the Lancer and her mechanical counterparts, have interesting dynamic with Sonic. It's always interesting writing the blue blur's interaction with Servants.
Techbears1 (Chapter 4): Camelot the Kingdom fell yea, but the world still exists inside the Storybook it was created from. Which means the cast of Black Knight IS probably still alive, as they had a completely different ending to Nasuverse Camelot.
The Counter Force does not exist in Sonic's world, there is a theory that Sonic has some sort of 'destiny' that constantly leads him into just the right circumstances to win and help people, but thats just a theory and not canon to this fic.
Chapter 5: Servants from Sonic's multiverse will not be a thing, maybe later down the line but not right now. The Throne of Heroes and Counter Force do not connect to the Sonicverse, which is a completely separate multiverse.
xmodaliyong12: Sonic's had a lot of hints of romantic interest, so I agree he isn't uninterested, his lifestyle is just moving about to much for him to actually sit down and do romantic stuff. I'm not really sure he's shy around romance, just awkward because remember most of his "romantic experience" comes down to Amy chasing him.
I'd say forming a harem is the last thing Sonic would think of, it'd already be hard dating one girl, but multiple? If a harem does form, it will more be because of the girls agreeing to share him then anything on Sonic's half.
TYPE-RWBYFanatic64: The Servants reactions will be great.
Doortolight47: The influence Sonic has over the various King Arthur's is actually fairly weak, because Sonic at the day isn't King Arthur, he has no dragon or royal blood, never acted as a king. The legend of Sonic the Hedgehog doesn't exist in Fate, but the legend of King Arthur does, so Sonic can be influenced by it, but his own influence of the various Artoria's is actually rather weak.
shadowfox219: Vapula did not take the form of Sage, and regarding the Chaos Emerald powers from Superstars, maybe? I'm not really decided on them yet.
Love-to-peace: No, I'm not sure why people seem to think Vapula is taking on the appearance of Sage, Vapula's body is a homunculus, not Sage. I am looking forward to introducing some more Servants.
Adam: Yea Arthurian Legends gets a bit confusing in Nasuverse, I'm not changing it but I will try and explain it better if it comes up. Because lets be honest, the explanation we were given doesn't make much sense.
Shiroyasha Rises: I agree, Merlin despite his issues and inhuman nature cares about people and humanity, while Proto Merlin sees everything as stories, not really caring for anyone. She is a monster in her own way, an attractive one, but still a monster.
Geller: Sonic has a few ways around Conceptual stuff, Wisp Power is one of them as its alien nature lets it get around a lot of stuff, another is Chaos Emerald power, as its very nature means nobody can be immune to it. Add in the fact Sonic could be considered a Godslayer after defeating so many gods, he may not even need anything to get around Achilles immortality.
Guest 1: If people demand stuff I'll ignore them, this is my story and while I appreciate people giving honest suggestions, demands are to be ignored or the story will just be ruined.
Oran: I don't really accept omake requests, but eventually Shadow will appear and interact with Chaldea, just not for a while. I don't think Shadow could really think of anything else like Maria, maybe similar but Maria is just to personally important to Shadow.
And Shadow would make a terrible father for Mashu, they're near opposites.
Vern: Sonic can parry, but its a bit more realistic now, or maybe the parry was just a Cyber Corruption power he can't use any more.
Yoroyuza Forever: Sonic is a lot more complex then he seems at first, and I love him all the more for it.
Sinner and Redeemer: I'll have to watch it some point (Fair warning, I may have watched it by the time this chapter is uploaded).
ChaosDeathLord: I thought it'd be interesting to have some more Demon God Pillars take on active roles besides Lev, and yea Vapula is using the body of an Einzbern Homunculus, not Sage or Illya.
The End is still out there, watching, observing, waiting… And Super Sonic 2/Cyber Super Sonic may make an appearance, maybe.
megarexomg: Honestly I cannot wait to get to the Sonic VS Melusine fight, as it will be an epic battle. But its a long way away… So I'll just have to make dozens of other epic battles before we get to it!
Herald of Chaos: Sonic is just built different, that and dragons while strong in Sonic-verse, don't quite match up to stuff like Albion.
Vern: Sonic Adventure 2 will be a ride, and Sonic is absurdly durable.
Myriad Hopes' Sonic Kiwami: Excalibur is a very interesting sword, especially when you consider it a blade that amplifies… Now imagine what Super Sonic could do with that thing? I do plan to make more unique Mystic Codes for Sonic, not so sure on Mystic Codes for Servants though.
Some events will be merged together, changed or downright erased, because Sonic cannot afford to spend years with Chaldea.
"So the Wisps are aliens from Planet Wisp…". Da Vinci quickly wrote some notes down, with how things from Sonic's world kept appearing in their own, she had decided to grab the hedgehog and interr- question the hog about his own world. "And they all originate from this 'Mother Wisp'? Who also created Planet Wisp".
"Yea, last I checked thats all correct". Sonic leaned into his chair, this was boring, really boring.
"Incredible! It sounds like the Mother Wisp may be one of your universes counterparts to Ultimate Ones". Romani may not be like the mages in the Clocktower, but even he found the idea that Sonic personally knew a being of such immense power and was on good terms with it astonishing.
Sonic blinked, Ultimate One? He'd learned a lot of new things from Chaldea, but he'd not heard of that one.
"Whats an Ultimate One?". The blue blur asked, the doctor, Caster, and everyone else in the room freezing (Mashu and Tamamo).
"Ah… I'm not quiet sure how to explain that to someone, as a Servant, no even before I was a Servant, I had knowledge of those… Things". Tamamo hissed, her tail waving behind her in an agitated pattern Sonic recognized Tails having whenever he was particularly frustrated.
"Y-yes, Ultimate Ones are hard to explain… Think of them like, living wills of the planet". Mashu tried explaining, but that just made Sonic think of-
"Oh! So there like Chip and Dark Gaia huh? I guess they kind of are similar to the Mother Wisp". The hedgehog scratched his head, his words drawing confusion from everyone else.
"Sonic, you said your world doesn't have a Gaia or Alaya". Da Vinci really just wished she could extract information from Sonic's head sometimes, he wasn't bad at explaining things, but it was clear he didn't really look into the details of how things worked.
"Well, it doesn't have it in the way you guys described your Gaia, Chip, or Light Gaia, and Dark Gaia are basically these two entities that fight every sooo… 10,000 or so years? Yea that feels right. I met Chip, teamed up with him and kicked Dark Gaia's creepy scaly butt". The blue blur grinned, but seeing the look the Caster was giving him, he knew he wouldn't be leaving this room anytime soon.
"Start from the beginning, I want to know EVERYTHING!".
With another Chaos Emerald, came more power to Chaldea, and with it? Came more Servants. Now some like Siegfried were perfectly fine, others were….
"ANCHIN-SAMAAA!". Sonic's ears twitched when he heard that voice, it was Amy all over again, except the pink hog had never been this bad! "Where are you Anchin-Sama?!".
Instantly the blue hog began moving, opening a door and closing it behind him, the sound of footsteps and heavy breathing outside chilling him to the core.
"Anchin-Saamaaa!? Where are you Anchin-Sama!?". The voice of one of the new Servants to Chaldea asked, the Berserker Kiyohime. She was a nice girl… When she wasn't convinced her master was the man she was obsessed with.
Sonic stayed quite, letting the Berserker wander away and finally letting out a sigh of relief.
"Sheesh, even Amy wasn't anywhere near that bad when she was younger…". The mobian hero flinching when a voice spoke up, expecting Kiyohime only to turn around and see a new yet familiar face.
"Considering how obsessed she is, I'm surprised you didn't de-summon her". The purple haired Servant, who's eyes were hidden behind some type of cloth spoke calmly, but her master just grinned at her.
"She's not that bad Medusa, she just needs some… time to get the whole Anchin thing out of her system!". Sonic grinned at the Rider, who just shook her head. Looking about, he'd ended up in Chaldea's library, a few Servants and staff wandering about. "Sup Hime, Aslepius, Jeanne!".
Osakabehime barely responded to the hedgehog's words, giving nothing more then a vague nod in his direction, instead focusing on her manga. Jeanne gave a much more polite smile and wave, but Aslepius didn't even look up from his massive collection of medical books, Caster from the Age of Gods he was, he still persuade any updates in medical techniques of the modern era.
"So, any new books you picked up Medusa?". Sonic asked conversationally as he quickly sat down nearby the Rider.
"A few…". Medusa found it strangely easy to talk to her master, perhaps because neither of them were human? Or maybe because a darker side of herself recognized an apex predator when it saw it. "But don't you have a race with Achilles?".
Sonic blinked a few times, his brain rebooting. Instantly he started running, he was late!
"Now I'm telling ya, the hero always arrives late!".
"I'm thinking you were just to scared to race me! Not that I blame you!".
Two figures stared each other down, one the easily recognizable figure of Sonic the Hedgehog, the other a tall man with green hair and orange eyes, wearing easy to move in armour.
From the moment he had been summoned, Achilles had only one goal upon learning of the hedgehog's trademark speed. A race! It had taken a few days thanks to Sonic being so busy, but now in the Simulator, the two could finally go at it.
"This is going to be interesting no matter who wins, Achilles Noble Phantasm always makes him one of the fastest beings around, but Sonic's called the Fastest Thing Alive for a reason…". Da Vinci noted, she and a few others had come to observe the race between the two speedsters.
Of course, if any such competition there would be sides...
"While I'll admit Sonic's impressed me, Achilles cannot lose this". Aslepius replied to Gareth, who only glared back. "He has both the backing of his Noble Phantasm and a spiritual body, which can deal with the forces of-".
"Sir Sonic won't lose to him! He may be a bigshot in Greece, but Sonic has travelled the whole world!". The adorable puppy knight stood up for her master, by her side Lancelot waved around a flag with a crudely drawn image of Sonic's face on it.
"Hahah! Everyone's getting really excited for this huh? I guess I am to, its not every day you see something like this, is it Siegfried?". Another newly summoned Chaldea Servant, the Archer Arash asked to Siegfried, who nodded politely but didn't take his eyes off the race about to begin.
"Oooh I can't wait much longer! Amadeus, how much longer do you think those two will spend trash talking before they begin?". Marie Antionette near bounced on her heels as she sat on a lovingly prepared blanket, by her side Mozart placed his hand under his chin.
"Considering how much both seem to be enjoying it? A bit longer my queen".
Such conversations were heard all around the Simulator, near everyone in Chaldea had come to see the race. The human staff of Chaldea were mainly cheering on Achilles, the knights of Camelot were utterly convinced Sonic would would, and everyone else was split between them.
"You do know what Fastest Thing Alive means right? It means on two legs, four, land, sky or sea! Nobody's beating Sonic the Hedgehog!". Sonic shared a grin with Achilles, there was no negative emotions between them, just the fierce sparks of rivalry.
"You know thats funny, people called me that to, so how about we settle it here and now?!". The Rider grinned down at the shorter hedgehog, both moving into place for the race to begin.
The conversations came to an end, everyone wanted to observe the race in crystal clear detail. Romani, who had been universally agreed on to be the one to start the race stood in front of the two racers.
"The rules of the race are simple! No attacking each other nor damaging the course! To win, you simply need to be the first one back to the flag!". Roman pointed to the large, white and black flag in the air, and then pointed to another one in the far off distance. The Simulator was currently taking the form of a simple flat plane, massive in size with plenty of room for both racers. "If both racers are ready, please get ready!".
Sonic and Achilles both got into running stances, mana starting to surge off the Rider and Chaos Energy the mobian. Both waited for the signal to begin.
"In three… Two.. One… GO!".
Both shot off in a blur of speed, eager for the taste of victory.
Mashu gently knocked on her Senpai's door, and after not receiving any answer, gently pushed it open. Looking inside, she found Sonic sprawled out across his bed, she approached him and began shaking.
"Huuuh… Morning Mashu…". The hedgehog yawned, quickly getting up. "Its too early…".
"Senpai, its mission day, you need to prepare yourself!". The Shielder reminded, causing Sonic's eyes to widen as he remembered what today was.
"Finally! We're heading to the third Singularity in Rome right?". Sonic began doing some stretches, eager to finally get out (Halloween had been fun, but way to short for his taste). "Who's coming with us?".
"We only have enough Coffins to bring five other Servants. Do you have any idea who your bringing, Senpai?". Mashu asked the hedgehog, who took a few moments to think.
"I guess I'll bring whoever wants to come along, no point planning when we have no idea what we'll face".
"Understood, Senpai!".
"Fou fou fou!".
"Morning to you to Fou buddy".
The group of three left Sonic's room, occasionally saying hi to staff members they passed on their way to command room.
Arriving, the various Servants around the room gave their greetings to Sonic, who waved back.
"Ah, good morning, Sonic, Mashu". Romani greeted the two, but his eyes were focused more on the computer in front of him.
"Yawwn… Morning, the tech department has been analyzing the Grails we've managed to acquire alongside the two Chaos Emeralds…". Da Vinci smiled, but her voice sounded exhausted.
"Ignore the half asleep genius behind me, today's mission will hopefully be calmer then the last three. Your heading to 1st Century Europe, specifically Ancient Rome, one of the greatest empires in human history". Romani brought up a hologram of the map of Rome.
"Sounds great! I've been thinking of trying some ancient grub!". Sonic grinned, eager to dive in.
"Ah, Ancient Rome, a true sight to behold! I wish I could come with you two!". Da Vinci sighed, but kept her smile. "You'll need to stay on your toes however, the Age of Gods influence is still strong during this age, who knows what beasts you may encounter?".
"I'm sure Senpai can handle it!". Mashu nodded, but blinked when she found a hand on her shoulder.
"Its OUR strength that will handle it, not just me!". Sonic's words caused a bright smile on the Shielder's face, along with everyone else watching.
"Right! Thats the spirit, you two really are reliable. Like last time you have two missions, locate the Holy Grail, retrieve or destroy it, and your second mission is to search and hopefully retrieve the third Chaos Emerald ifs its in the Singularity". Romani brought up a hologram of seven empty Emerald shaped spots, two of them quickly filled with the red and green jewels. "We have five more to find, while no Chaos Energy has been detected, its better to search just in case".
"Understood… Doctor, I have a question". At Romani's nod Mashu continued. "Is there a way to detect if Servants are neutral or hostile?".
"As much as that'd help, its beyond our current equipment, even if we combine Sheba and Trismegistus, the best we can do is detect lifeforms and energy readings. The ability to distinguish hostility… That lies in the realm of psychology. I'm sorry, Mashu, Sonic, the best we can do is speculate". The doctor looked down, but Sonic just smiled.
"Nah its good, you can't really tell what sort of person someone is until you talk with em". Sonic started moving towards the Rayshift Coffins, but a fake cough from Da Vinci stopped him. "Whats up, Leonardo?".
"Well if your so eager to start, I COULD save my latest project for later… Oh who am I kidding? Let the wonderful Da Vinci-Chan show off her newest creation!". The Caster walked over to a door Sonic hadn't noticed before. "The latest equipment in saving humanity! Behold, The Lake of Rings!".
With the door opened, Sonic's eyes widened at he entered the new room, it was a large forested area, with a lake being the main sight of interest, a lake with golden rings floating within in, Power Rings!
"The Chaos Emeralds produce an absurd amount of energy, and your talk of them amplifying each other got me thinking, if Power Rings were just constructs of Chaos Energy, why couldn't I convert some of that excess energy into Power Rings? I won't bore you with precise details, but by pushing excess Chaos Energy into this lake, Power Rings will form over time". Da Vinci explained, while Sonic grabbed a nearby ring with a grin.
"This is great! With this, we can bring rings with us on missions!". Mashu smiled, happy they had another way to keep each other safe. "How many are produced per day, Da Vinci?".
"Currently it seems to be around ten every twenty-four hours, and we've managed to stock up on eighteen of them for this mission. Well, eighteen ordinary rings, but there was one that came out-". Da Vinci was cut off by Sonic.
"Red?".
The Caster nodded, pulling out a red Power Ring.
"Scans show it has around the power of fifty ordinary Power Rings, but you already knew that Sonic". Da Vinci handed over the red Power Ring to Sonic, who quickly stored it in his quills. "They seem to be created rarely, so please be careful when using red rings".
"Got it, anything else to show us?". Sonic was feeling good with a red ring, if he could get a couple of these and the seven Chaos Emeralds, he could hold his Super form for a couple hours!
"Well, no creations, but we did manage to figure out that 'Sonic Alter' form of yours".
Everyone's attention instantly zeroed in on Da Vinci, the Lake of Rings was useful yes, but the transformation Sonic had taken was a concern for everyone.
"And how exactly does it work then?". Artoria Alter asked.
"As we all know, Sonic is his world's King Arthur, even if the connection is barely there, he is still recognized by the World as King Arthur. So it places a sort of conceptual image over him, something that wouldn't normally influence his personality or abilities at all, but close contact with you and wielding your Excalibur even for a few shorts minutes has made the image of 'Sonic Alter' stronger". The Caster's explanation was long and slightly confusing to some, but she just continued on. "Thankfully, it seems to be something that only happens in moments of heightened negative emotions. I wouldn't say it makes Sonic 'evil' or 'corrupted', but rather lowers his sense of restraint".
"Losing his sense of restraint… What exactly does that mean? Will he fight to kill? Will he focus on offence over defence?". Romani looked confused, he was a doctor, not a magus.
"Nah it didn't feel like that. It felt like I was myself at the end of the day, but things like mercy, my friends feelings… It felt like they were gone". Sonic scratched his head, it was hard to describe.
"In simple terms, Sonic's Alter state reduces him to a state of instincts. His focus will be on surviving and saving his allies, at any cost, heightening aggression and feral instincts in order to win as fast as possible". This time Da Vinci's explanation got through everyones heads. "But as I said, as long as you avoid entering a state of intense negative emotions, it shouldn't happen again".
"Seems pretty simple! So that everything?". Sonic twirled a ring around his finger, and at the Caster's nod, he turned to his Servants. "Alright! Now we just need to figure out who's coming with!".
