Percy Tells Skyla His Secret:
Raphael was at his locker grabbing his books, he looked aside and saw Anastacia coming his way and he did not fancy her. Anastacia joined Raphael and closed his locker.
"Raphael," said Anastacia.
"Leave me alone," said Raphael.
"You're making a huge mistake, you know you won't stand a chance with Skyla, Admit it, if you audition with me," said Anastacia.
Raphael did not listen to Anastacia and started walking away almost bumped into his father, Raphael was shocked to see his father at school.
"Audition?" Asked Mr. Haas.
"Dad?" Said Raphael
"Yes, for the musical," said Anastacia.
Mr Haas looked at his son and Raphael got nervous, he did not want his father to find out about the musical.
In the meantime, Skyla and Percy were somewhere in the forest after they left Leopold's house.
"Do you think it's true what Leopold said?" Asked Skyla.
"I don't trust him," said Percy. "Why does have pictures of us?"
"But what if it's true? That the Dark Druids took his daughter, it's sad," said Skyla.
"We don't know for sure if it's his daughter," said Percy.
"Emma, But what about the picture," said Skyla.
"Maybe he is a Dark Druid who wants to know more about Emma, we don't know," said Percy.
"I was scared when you passed out," said Skyla.
"It happens often," said Percy, he turned away and didn't look at Skyla. "Stupid of me that I lost my deodorant, thanks by the way."
"No problem," said Skyla.
"I've had this since I was little, the doctors don't know what it exactly, said Percy.
"But what happens? Asked Skyla.
"It's something that makes me smell everything very strongly, too strongly, you could say," explained Percy.
"Must be annoying, said Skyla.
"Yeah, Luckily I can suppress it the deodorant, I've tested hundreds and this one works the best," said Percy.
"Ah, that's why," said Skyla.
"But once it has worn off, I smell everything again and… well you've seen what happens, said Percy. "Don't tell the others, okay?"
"Okay," said Skyla.
Skyla started walking after Percy and together they headed back home.
Back at school, Raphael's father was still there and Raphael felt a huge pressure on him, he could only hope that his father would leave soon and that he would not find out that he wanted to join the musical.
"Auditions for the musical?" Asked Mr. Haas.
"Uhm," said Raphael.
"Yes," said Anastacia.
"Well?" Asked Mr. Haas.
"I… uhm," said Raphael
"Yes, I'm trying to convince Raphael to audition, he is such a good piano player," said Anastacia. "But Raphael isn't interested, he hates musicals."
"Musicals aren't Raphael's thing," said Mr. Haas.
"No," said Anastacia.
"Classical music is music," said Mr. Haas
"Yes," said Raphael.
"Everything else is nothing," said Mr. Haas.
"Yes, classical music is the only think he talks about, Beethoven this, Chopin that," said Anastacia.
"It's good to hear that," said Mr. Haas.
"Dad, what are you doing here?" Asked Raphael.
"I'm here to pick you up, we're going to a piano concert of Fragmaninov," said Mr. Haas.
"Ah, Fragmaninov, Fragmaninov," said Anastacia.
"I'll be right there, dad," said Raphael
"Okay, two minutes and not a minute longer," said Mr. Haas.
"Yes," said Raphael.
"I'm waiting for you in the car," said Mr. Haas.
Raphael nodded his head. Mr Haas walked away towards the school's exit. Raphael let out a relieved breath.
"Thanks," said Raphael.
"You do understand, I expect something in return," said Anastacia.
"What?" Asked Raphael
"Yes, or should I walk with you to the car? So I can tell your dad," said Anastacia.
"You're keeping your mouth shut," said Raphael.
"If you write a beautiful song for me and rehearse with me, it will all fine," said Anastacia.
"That's blackmail," said Raphael.
"Well, I call it doing a friend a favor, and I would like it if no-one finds about this," said Anastacia.
"I've to go," said Raphael.
"So we've got a deal?" Asked Anastacia.
"Yes, we've got a deal," said Raphael.
Anastacia got a grin on her face. Raphael walked away feeling angry and annoyed, on the one hand he was happy that his father would not know about anything, but he was angry that he had to give in to Anastacia's blackmail.
At the same time, Lexie walked towards Mr Danbury's office, she opened the door and cautiously poked her head inside.
"Milo?" asked Lexie.
But there was no answer, she saw that no one else was there and snuck into the office, she walked towards the terrarium.
"Milo! What did they do to you?" Asked Lexie.
A few moments later. Percy and Skyla were back home. Percy walked into his room and turned on his recorder.
"Investigation opened, Name suspect: Leopold aka Mr. Gibson, Profession: History teacher," said Percy.
Percy wanted to say something more, but this was interrupted by snoring. Percy looked towards his bed and saw that Milo was asleep on the floor. Percy walked over to him and knelt beside him and tried to wake him up.
"Milo? Milo? Milo?" said Percy.
"Anastacia, Anastacia baby," said Milo in his sleep state.
"No, this is Percy," said Percy.
A sleeping Milo sat up straight, grabbed Percy's head and tried to kiss him thinking he was Anastacia and Percy tried to keep Milo off him.
"Hey, what are you doing, no!" said Percy.
Back at school, Lexie was still in Mr Danbury's office by the terrarium.
"Wait, which one of you is Milo?" Asked Lexie. "If you're Milo blink twice."
"What are you doing near my toads?" Asked Mr. Danbury.
"I, uhm…," said Lexie, but she couldn't come up with something to say.
"Get out of my eye sight immediately," Mr. Danbury said. "Or do you want to turn you into a toad too?"
"No," Lexie said.
Not needing to be told that a second time, Lexie ran the office as fast as she could. Seeing how anxious Lexie was, Mr Danbury got a mean grin on his face.
In the meantime at the house. Skyla was in the bathroom with Mouse and had told him all about what had happened in Leopold's cabin.
"Mouse, could Leopold be Emma's father? Yes, Percy doesn't trust him and what if he is one of the Dark Druids? But he looked so sad and he asked me to help him, what if Emma is his daughter," said Skyla.
There was a sound in the bathroom, Skyla looked in the mirror and saw Emma standing behind her, she turned to face her.
"You have to help me. You can't have doubts. Soon it will be to late and I'll never return. Please Skyla, help me, please," said Emma.
"Emma. Emma?" Said Skyla, but Emma had already vanished again. "Emma come back."
In the meantime at school, Mr Danbury was checking out his terrarium and he noticed that one of his toads was gone, he rummaged through the tank to find it, but he couldn't find it.
"No, not now! Not now we're so close!" Said Mr. Danbury.
Mr Danbury started searching his office, crawling under his desk to see if the toad was there. He wanted to get up and bumped his head, he got under his desk from then and sat down, he grabbed his phone and called Arlene.
"Arlene, you're speaking to Hubert, bad news, one of the toads has disappeared," said Mr. Danbury.
In the meantime, Anastacia and Lexie were in the girls' room, Anastacia was saying something, but Lexie wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying. The door opened and Arlene walked into the room and she didn't look very happy, Anastacia walked towards Arlene feeling excited.
"Arlene, I'll get the lead in the musical," said Anastacia.
"Really?" Asked Arlene.
"Yes," said Anastacia.
"Amazing," said Arlene.
"I know," said Anastacia.
"Lexie, the headmaster has called, I believe you know what this is about," said Arlene. "We can't use this kind of trouble in Anubis House, I think it's better if you go home."
"What? What? What?" Asked Anastacia.
"Go pack, your things," said Arlene.
"No, no, this can't be possible, I need Lexie, I mean Lexie is very, very important to me. And Skyla isn't any fun. And Lexie sticks to my rules, right?" Said Anastacia. "And if you need more money, I can always call my parents."
"Fine, very well then, she can stay a little while longer," said Arlene.
"Yes," said Anastacia.
Arlene left the room again. A big smile appeared on Lexie's face, she stood up, walked over to Anastacia and she gave her a big hug, much to Anastacia's displeasure.
"You're the best friend I ever had," said Lexie.
"Yes, as long as you sing for me, you will be allowed to stay here," said Anastacia.
At the same time. Percy was in his room doing his homework, he heard a knock on the door, he turned and saw Skyla standing in the doorway.
"It's me," said Skyla.
"Oh, hi," said Percy.
"I need to talk to you," said Skyla, she then noticed that Milo was sleeping on the floor.
"Come, he is often is sleeps in weird spots," said Percy.
"I saw Emma again," said Skyla, as she walked over to Percy.
"When?" Asked Percy.
"A moment ago, she seemed angry," said Skyla.
"Why? What did she say?" Asked Percy.
"That I've to help her," said Skyla.
"How? Asked Percy.
"I don't know, before I could ask her that, she was gone again, I think if we won't help Leopold, that we're making a huge mistake, said Skyla.
"You know what? We'll return to his house and observe him, said Percy.
"You mean right now? Asked Skyla.
"Yes, right now, you want to help him, right? Said Perdy.
"Yes, said Skyla.
Percy put his things in his bag and got up, he and Skyla left the boys' room and went downstairs. They grabbed their coats and left the house and headed for Leopold's house.
Arlene was in Kent's study bringing him news, but she could tell he didn't want to be disturbed.
"Yes?" Said Kent.
"I wanted to keep you up to date, I tried to send Lexie home, but Anastacia wants to keep her here," said Arlene said. "Do you want me to send her away anyway?"
"No, we don't want any problems now, especially now that we're so close to the first incorporation," said Kent.
"And… there is something else," said Arlene said.
"What?" Asked Kent.
"Hubert called, one of the toads has disappeared," said Kent.
"Make sure to find it," said Kent.
"Yes," said Arlene.
"Now!" Ordered Kent.
Arlene nodded her head a quickly left Kent's study room.
A few moments later and Skyla and Percy were back at Leopold's cabin, they saw no one inside. Percy managed to get the door open and he and Skyla went inside. The two carefully walked around the cabin. Percy saw a tea pot on the table and felt it.
"It's still hot, he hasn't been gone for long," said Percy.
"Okay," said Skyla said.
"Don't touch anything and look for something suspicious, said Percy, as he started to look around.
"Do you see anything? Asked Skyla.
"No, nothing, no secret books, no traces of rituals or rare ingredients, nothing at all, Percy said.
"You see? Leopold is on the good side, Yeah, I don't know why he has those pictures and how he and the Headmaster are involved, but that doesn't mean he is bad," said Skyla. "This cabin is kinda cute, very cozy,"
Percy didn't really pay attention to what Skyla said, he walked towards a cupboard and felt wind coming from underneath, he opened the doors and saw light coming out of the cupboard. Percy poked his head over those books that were in the cupboard and then saw a staircase, Skyla came and sat next to him and also saw what was there.
Where does the staircase that is in the cupboard lead to? What does Leopold have to hide? Can Skyla and Percy not trust him after all? And will the headmaster and Arlene find out that Milo has the toad?
