In the middle of the night, a ten-year-old girl with silver hair and pale blue eyes, wearing a gray dress resembling a lab coat, was running away from something or someone.

"To the alley," said a female voice that came from the bakugan that she had in her hand.

The girl goes to the alley but behind her a boy with red hair appears who was about to enter the alley, however when he arrives he does not find anyone.

"Damn," the boy said as he communicated with someone through his watch. "They escaped."

The boy turned around and continued looking for the girl in another direction. But on the roof of the buildings that made up the alley was the girl sitting and exhausted.

Beside him was his bakugan which was white and appeared to be a dragon.

"Are you okay?" asked the bakugan

"Yes..." the girl said with difficulty.

"You used too much energy today, it will be better to rest and continue tomorrow" suggested the bakugan

"Yes, Wavern," the girl agreed, smiling a little at her bakugan

A new day has come in Bakugan City and with it the return of some Bakugan legends.

Dan Kuso and his partner Drago boarded their boat on the shore of the city beach.

"How good it feels to come back," Dan said, "I bet everyone will be surprised."

"I think the same, Dan," replied Dragon, "although Runo will surely be angry first."

Dan felt a chill at the thought of it.

"Very likely," he said with a forced smile.

Four months ago, Dan and Drago defeated their last enemy, once again managing to save the bakugans, but they also left for a boat trip without telling their friends.

The two began to walk in the direction of the city. Without imagining the encounter they would have very soon.

The silver-haired girl was running scared down the sidewalk until she inadvertently collides with Dan.

"hey" Dan realizes that it was a girl who ran into him. "Hey, are you okay?"

The girl looked at him nervously and clings tightly to her jacket.

"Help... Please... Help us..." the girl said with a trembling and weak voice.

Dan and Drago looked at each other a little confused.

"Oh Karin!" Said a boy's voice in a happy tone.

He was a boy with light blue hair with round sunglasses, he was wearing a white coat over a gray-blue shirt, he also wore silver pants and white sneakers.

Dan and Drago looked at that boy confused but the girl looked at him with horror.

"Hey Karin, we've been looking for you," the boy said. "be a good girl and come with me."

The girl named Karin clung even tighter to Dan's jacket. Dan didn't ignore Karin's fear.

"Who are you?" Dan demanded.

"That's none of your business," the boy said.

"What's none of my business?" Dan refuted. "Then why is she afraid of you?"

Suddenly the atmosphere became colder.

"Do you want to meddle?" The boy asked with a lively and threatening voice.

Although he was wearing sunglasses, Karin could feel his gaze becoming more affiliated and knew what would happen if things continued like this. It was then that he let go of Dan's jacket and walked fearfully to the boy's side.

"Very good, Karin" the boy congratulated her. "now let's go home"

Saying that, the boy took Karin's hand hard and took her away.

Dan and Drago didn't know what had happened.

"What happened?" Drago asked.

"I'm not sure, Drago," answered Dan, "maybe that little girl ran away from home or something and her brother came looking for her."

In that, Dan realizes that there was something in his jacket pocket and when he took that something out he realized that it was a white bakugan with pink details.

"a Haos bakugan?" Dan wondered.

Then the bakugan began to levitate and opened revealing its draconic appearance. When Drago saw her, he was shocked.

"Wavern," Drago said, still shocked.

Hearing that name, Dan was shocked.

"Did you say Wavern?" Dan asked incredulously. "Do you mean the Wavern we knew?"

Wavern looked at both of them before speaking.

"How come you guys know my name?" I ask suspiciously. "Do they work for Genesis?"

"Wavern, don't you remember me?" Drago asked.

"I don't know who you are, but if you let them take Karin, you must be enemies," Wavern said before flying off in another direction.

"Wavern wait!" Desperate Drago tried to call her but she was already gone

"Drago, are you sure it's the same Wavern?" Dan asked. "remember that years ago she sacrificed herself to save Vestroia"

"I know it's her, Dan," Drago replied seriously and somewhat sadly. "And although it looks different, I know it's the Wavern I know"

Later, Dan arrived at Marucho's mansion where he knocked on the door and was greeted by his butler who took him to the room where Marucho, Shun, Runo, Mirra and Julie were. Those who saw him were quite happy although Runo first hit him on the head and then hugged him.

Then Dan explained to them how his departure was and what he experienced at sea.

"Incredible Dan," Marucho said.

"It bothers me that you haven't warned us before" Runo complained.

"Well, what's done is done" replied Dan. "and what about you? Any news?"

"In fact, yes," Julie said, taking a brown sphere out of her pocket. "Gorem returned to me and Tigrera to Runo"

Gorem's sphere opened.

"Greetings Dan and Drago"

Tigrera appears on Runo's shoulder.

"that's fabulous" Dan said

Tigrera looked at Drago.

"hey Drago, you've been very quiet"

"We saw Wavern," Drago answered.

Everyone looked at Drago in surprise.

"That's true but he seemed to suffer from amnesia," Dan added.

"To the legendary Wavern?" Mirra asked interested.

There Dan began to explain to everyone how his meeting with that girl and Wavern was.

"So Wavern is related to that girl?" Marucho asked

"That still doesn't explain how she's still alive, we all saw her die that day," Shun said.

"But don't you think it's weird what happened with that little girl? It's one thing to run away from home in the morning but she seemed to be running away from something," said Julie

"I know, I wanted to prevent him from taking her but that boy... I don't know how to explain it but suddenly I started to feel my body freeze and the girl gave herself up to him so he wouldn't do anything," said Dan

"In fact, I've also seen Wavern," Runo spoke, "a couple of days ago...

Runo was leaving a bakery with a bag of bread and saw Karin looking at the bread through the window.

"Hey little girl, are you hungry?" Runo asks him, handing him a piece of bread.

In that from Karin's shoulder to Wavern who seemed to be muttering things to Karin. And before Runo asked her anything she quickly left.

"I only saw Wavern for a few seconds so I thought it was my imagination" Runo added.

In another part of the city, the boy with light blue hair was communicating with someone.

"When I was checking her to encapsulate Wavern, I realized that she wasn't with her," the boy said through his watch. "it seems that Karin left her somewhere else."

Then a male voice speaks through the watch that was also an intercom.

"Stay in a sector of the city where no one sees you or follows you along with Blaze," the voice began to indicate, "it doesn't matter how far away Karin is, Wavern will always return to her, or if not, you can find her through his energy leaks that will surely be very conspicuous in the city. Make sure that less people see it as well as your powers, Ice"

"Yes, Genesis," said the boy named Ice, turning the call

Ice turned to see Karin, who was being grabbed by the redheaded boy.

"It seems that we just have to wait, Blaze," Ice said, "unless Karin calls Wavern."

Karin only looked at them with terror and wanted to cry.

Back with our protagonists, Julie receives a call.

"Give me a moment," Julie said.

She got up and went to another room but after a while she quickly returned to the living room but she looked excited.

"Marucho, channel 9 now!" Julie ordered.

Marucho quickly turned on the television and put the indicated channel. On the television you could see a reporter in the park where in the background there was an energy field that distanced all living beings as it grew

"I am facing a strange phenomenon, what you are seeing seems to be a kind of force field that is not yet known if it is dangerous but it is growing more and more" said the reporter. "It is not yet known what it is or what it is going to do"

Everyone was speechless but Drago managed to see that within the energy field was Wavern

"It's Wavern!" Drago yelled

"Wavern? Then we should go find right now," Dan said.

"And once there, what will they do?" Shun asked. "Do you know how to stop her?"

Those questions stopped the two.

"I don't know what to do but I'll improvise," answered Dan before leaving

"I see that they are still the same" said Tigrera

"The same impulsive as always" added Runo

"I'm going with them," Marucho said, getting up.

"I'm the same," said Shun.

It was so that Dan and Drago were the first to arrive at the park and go to the place where Wavern was.

"There it is, what do we do, Drago?" Dan asked.

"I have to talk to her," Drago answered, approaching the force field.

In that Shun and Marucho arrive with their bakugan.

"What is Drago doing?" Marucho asked.

"I'll try to talk to Wavern," Dan replied.

"That's very risky," Shun added.

Drago barely managed to get close to the energy field.

"Wavern, you have to calm down," Drago said.

"Shut up!" Wavern replied followed by a scream that created a wave of energy that almost pushed Drago away.

Drago set out to break through the energy field and barely made it. Inside he saw Wavern in his open sphere form.

"Wavern, listen to me..."

"Get away if you don't want to get hurt!" Wavern warned in a pained voice.

"I know you're suffering because of your power and we can help you, just believe in us," Drago said.

"I just need Karin..." Wavern answered with frustration, "I'm here without being able to control my own power and she's... Ahhhh!"

Wavern screamed in pain, outside the energy field was still increasing at an accelerated rate.

"This looks from very bad to very worse," Radizen said.

"It's true, we should evacuate people," Marucho suggested.

"Okay," agreed Dan before seeing the energy field again, "you can, Drago..."

Inside the energy field, Drago kept trying to calm Wavern down.

"why are you here?" wavern asked

"To help you, I can't afford to lose you again," Drago replied.

"I don't know who you are, but you know who I am..." Wavern said followed by a groan, "although I don't care... I just want to save Karin."

"If you mean that girl, my partner and I will save her, believe in us," said Drago

Wavern looked at him.

"Do you promise?" Wavern asked.

"I promise" promised Drago

"Okay..." Wavern said.

It was then that the energy field began to shrink until it disappeared, dropping Drago and Wavern's spheres.

When Dan saw that the field disappeared, he ran to pick up Drago and Wavern's spheres.

"You did it Drago" Dan congratulate him

Drago's sphere opened.

"Yes, but I need to keep a promise," Drago said.

From a building Ice watched the scene while eating an ice cream popsicle.

"This is going to get very interesting," he said as he turned around.

Translucent blue symbols emerged from his back that became a kind of wings and he flew away.
