Ah, hello there!

Surprising to see people actually liking to see this story…but as Count Dooku once said:

"A surprise to be sure, but a welcomed one."

Anyways, here's another chapter for you all to read. And don't forget, if you have any questions or suggestions to improve the story, just write a review! Without further ado, let's begin.

Edit: Turns out I did receive a few comments. I'll try my best to answer them.

Trux-Killer: While he won't appear in this story yet, I have been thinking about doing a little side story about him (Note that this hasn't come into fruition yet).

Ke-Pa: Originally, I did want to use a Godzilla from Toho, but I felt that Legendary Godzilla would fit here the best. But don't worry, there will be some monsters and characters from both Toho and Legendary. As for Gongmen City and the Valley of Peace, don't worry, there will be some monster action there…

Disclaimer: I do not own Godzilla and Kung Fu Panda. They belong to their respective owners.

Japan, Osaka

If you ever asked someone on how life is like in Osaka, they would probably say busy. That would best describe the situation as of right now at MONARCH, an organization known by few people who are dedicated to the exploration and study of monsters, specifically Titans.

Located deep in the mountain known as Mount Kongō, it was the perfect place to not get spotted by any unwanted guests.

Now, in retrospect, usually everything is always busy at MONARCH, as every day could lead to a new discovery. However, this is not why everything is more clustered than usual.

A few hours ago, one of the psychics in charge of knowing the location of these creatures, Meru Ozawa, a 22 year old Japanese fox, had the worst news of all: a Titan, located somewhere in China, will slowly wake up soon and it will be very hungry.

Now, this wouldn't usually be bad news: after all, there are many outposts across the globe, including the newly discovered continent known as America, with many soldiers ready to act if necessary. However, there was a problem: this Titan was only discovered a week ago. And with no one there to stop the creature, they had very little time before the kaiju woke from its deep slumber.

Thankfully, with acceptance from both the Japanese Emperor, Emperor Go-Yōzei, and the Chinese Emperor, the Wanli Emperor, they were able to get reinforcements to arrive in China so that they could find a way to try to get the Titan to be unconscious.

Although they were confident in at least trying to stop the beast, that still raises the question: what will happen once civilians start to find out about this monster? After all, this will be the first Titan awakening to happen in over 400 years, ever since the battle between Shinomura and…him. And the people of the world will want answers.

This is what Dr. Ishiro Serizawa, a 68 year old Japanese tiger male and one of the most well known people to the workers of MONARCH, is thinking about right now. As of now, he is not sure on how to deal with this possible outcome: and even though he does have one solution, it would all depend on the leaders of each country and their approval.

Just as he was about to think of a better solution, he is interrupted by someone calling for him.

"Dr. Serizawa-San? We have something for you." replied someone. The tiger looked up from his thinking to see Dr. Vivienne Graham, a 38 year old British wolf female and associate to Dr. Serizawa, calling out to him.

The doctor, finally processing what had been said, would walk up to her and then said, "What is it?"

The wolf would reply, "Well, it is concerning the recent awakening of the new kaiju. While getting the equipment set up at the Temple of the Moth, one of the advisors discovered an old tablet there."

"So? Multiple tablets have been found near each of the Titans' locations. Is there something important about this specific one?", the old doctor would ask, confused as to what was the problem.

"Yes, as it seems to be related to some sort of prophecy. Here, take a look.", Graham would say before placing a tablet down on a table.

Both doctors and even some of the other doctors would take a look at this strange tablet. What is shown seems to be a text and a picture at the bottom.

Dr. Serizawa would begin to read the text:

"A prophecy has been foretold by one of the elders,

Of the return of the Titans of Old and of the future of the planet itself.

He says that it will all begin with the awakening of the Swarm of Death.

Then of the Fierce King of the Underground.

However, soon enough, a much more darker force shall awaken:

The One Who is Many.

He shall awaken the others, to destroy all known settlements and the souls of thousands of people.

And only the Warrior of Black and White and the Alpha Predator shall be able to stop him from declaring the destruction of the world.

This shall spark a new era: an era of coexistence between two unfamiliar, yet same species.

It shall spark the Era of Monsters."

As Serizawa continues to say the prophecy out loud, more and more workers start to get more interested in what it has to offer. By the time he was done, almost everyone was around him, looking closely at the tablet.

One of the nearby doctors, Dr. Yuji Shinoda, a 39 year old Japanese bear, would suddenly say out loud, "Hold on, what is that at the bottom?"

Everyone would suddenly divert their attention to the picture below the text. It seems to show some sort of drawing featuring two prominent beings: the first being a panda, while holding some kind of staff, posing awesomely, and the second being a large organism, presumably a Titan, roaring in the distance.

At first glance, they wouldn't recognize the Titan at first from the crude drawing, but as they started to look closer, they realized who it was: the Alpha Predator, or more known by others…Gojira.

"Well, that answers the question of the "Alpha Predator"…but who's the panda supposed to be?", Dr. Graham would exclaim.

Obviously, it wasn't anyone from MONARCH, but that doesn't help anything. Before the others could think more about it, a female bull would rush up to them.

She would stop, before saying, "Um, don't mean to interrupt your little party over here…", causing the scientists to look at her, "…but we got some news from Ozawa-San."

"What is it, Foster-San?", Dr. Serizawa would ask.

Colonel Diane Foster, the 39 year old African bull, would sigh slowly, before saying the words that made everyone's hearts stop: "We got news about the Titan: it's awake."

Everything was silent for a moment: no one said anything at all.

…until-

Suddenly, a loud gurgling high pitched wail would be heard, causing everyone to put their hands on their ears to stop the pain. Once it was finally done, everyone took their hands off, slowly realizing what the hell just happened.

China, at a farm a few minutes earlier

Boredom. That is all what Zhou Guanshuai has been feeling as of now. Well, that's what he has always felt ever since working at his friend's brother's farm. The only time when something did happen was just a few months ago, when some yak known as "Kai" came to the farm and destroyed some of the crops.

He was never seen again from the farmers, but from what Guanshuai had heard from Huang Hua (his friend) and Huang Hui (his friend's brother), some sort of "Dragon Warrior" by the name of Po thankfully managed to defeat him.

Now, while he would go to try to thank him, he couldn't as of right now as he didn't have the time and he is too far away from him, as this warrior is somewhere called "The Valley of Peace".

"Hey, you alright?", said someone. The goose turned around to see Hua, walking over to him.

"You haven't been moving for five minutes. Do you need a break?", Hua said. It was obvious that the rabbit was worried for his friend.

"…I'm-". Just as Guanshuai is about to reply, the ground would start to rumble uncontrollably.

"What in China is going on?!", said the goose. He and Hua were obviously shaken by the sudden movement of the ground. But that didn't explain what was going on at all.

"I don't know…but we need to get back to the house, now!", said the rabbit, with the goose nodding in agreement.

As they began to run to the house, all of a sudden, the rumbling began to stop. The two animals stopped running, confused as to why it stopped. Not that it was a bad thing, but that didn't explain what just happened.

Just as Hua was about to say something, the ground beneath the small creatures began to crack. Now, usually they would begin to run away, but with them being frightened by what had happened, they couldn't. As Guanshuai and Hua looked at each other with scared looks on their faces, they didn't know that this would be the end of their lives.

"…we should go-", Guanshuai didn't have the time to finish his sentence as soon enough, the ground split in half and both of them began to the abyss, screaming in fear.

Soon enough, there would be no sounds coming from the big hole in the middle of the crops. But suddenly, a massive hand, far larger than anything ever seen, with thin and sharp claws would begin to grab the surface of the soil. Then another hand, belonging to the same creature, would also rise from the hole. The supposed beast would then begin to clench its hands onto the surface and slowly begin to rise up.

Once it rose, the monster managed to get out of the hole and finally revealed itself. It looked like a quadrupedal, mammal-like reptilian creature with reddish-brown skin, a single large horn on its forehead which is followed by several backwardly-curved spikes on the back of his head, and large, floppy ears. The creature had two sets of segmented, plate-like structures on its back and tail.

It slowly looked around, trying to see where it was and to familiarize itself with the scenery. Once it was finished, it looked over in the distance to see something he was dying to have: food.

If it would grin, it would have as of now. Rearing on its hind legs, it opened his mouth, revealing small and needle-like teeth, and roared in joy: a loud gurgling high pitched wail would emanate. Once finished, it would go on all fours and begin to run in the direction of the settlements.

Japan, Osaka

After the loud wail was heard, everyone at MONARCH began to worry intensely. After all, they were pretty sure that the citizens, both in China and any other countries near it, heard the strange noise and were confused about it, meaning that soon enough, they would learn about the Titan. Speaking on the beast…

"Do we know anything about where it's heading to?", said Dr. Serizawa with a worried expression on his old face.

"It seems that it is going towards a settlement somewhere in the north.", said someone. Everyone would look at the person who replied, revealing it to be Meri Ozawa, the psychic fox who was the one who discovered about the awakening of the Titan in the first place, walking towards them.

"Specifically, somewhere called the Valley of Peace.", said Meru.

"Valley of Peace…how close are the soldiers to this valley?", replied Dr. Graham.

The young fox would begin to close her eyes intensely, trying to find their location. After a minute, the girl opened her eyes, with a guilty expression on her face.

"Well, while they have arrived in China thankfully, they are unfortunately too far away from the valley.", said Meru.

"How long until they are able to arrive there?", replied Colonel Foster.

"30 minutes, Foster-San.", replied Meru.

"And the Titan?", replied Dr. Serizawa with a worried tone in his voice.

"…20 minutes until arrival, Serizawa-San.", replied the fox with a sad expression on her face.

Everyone looked at each other in worry, hoping that the beast wouldn't be as destructive as Shinomura.

"Thankfully, I have already sent the message to Saegusa-San, so they are already on the move.", said Meru, trying to at least lighten up the mood.

While the others did appreciate the gesture, that doesn't change the fact that innocent citizens, young and old, will probably be consumed by the creature.

"…so, what are we going to call this one? I mean, we can't just keep calling it Titan or creature anymore.", replied Shiro Miyasaka, a 44 year old Japanese monkey.

Dr. Serizawa would begin to think, before looking at the tablet once more. He would take it, reading the line Fierce King of the Underground, as it is probably talking about the beast who just woke up. He began to think, before finally getting a good one.

"I have one.", replied Dr. Serizawa.

Everyone would look towards the tiger, curious as to what he would suggest.

"Call it…Titanus Baragon."

Well then, here we go: the newest chapter in this strange story of mine.

Now just to let you know, don't expect me to post chapters in a consistent schedule. Since school is coming up, I won't have enough time to deal with homework and this story. Just a little reminder.

Anyways, what do you think of it? Do you like it, hate it, think there should be some improvements, leave some reviews to let me know!

And with that said: adios!
