Here's a short sneak peek at my future Pokemon SI fanfiction. (Yes, another SI… And yes, it's another gender-bent)

The sound of cameras rang across the room, said room was filled with multiple people, some held expensive-looking cameras and other types of equipment, a small group over to the side was watching the photographers while talking in between themselves, another group was tending to multiple sets of clothing, and off to a corner were a pair of trainer and pokemon, the trainer wore a mostly white and expensive outfit, while the pokemon, a Gardevoir, watched intently at the back of the room where another pair of trainer and pokemon were being subjected to a photography session.
The trainer, Lavender, a girl of medium stature, with long, lavender-colored hair tied up in a ponytatail(?). She wore a black suit with an orange tie and black gloves, one of them had embedded in it a rainbow stone.
The Pokemon, a short [I'm not short!] Gardevoir. This one was different though. Currently, she is displaying the rare phenomenon of Mega Evolution, a rare type of evolution that was shown during the Vertress Conference in Unova, this coupled with her being a "Shiny" Pokémon, made her quite the rare sight.
The pair could be described as majestic… but what were their thoughts?
[My face muscles hurt…] Lavender said to Gardevoir through telepathy.
[You are the one that accepted Diantha's offer, Lady Lavender]
[Yeah, but I didn't think modeling would be so tiring, coupled with maintaining the Mega is killing me… Also don't tell me you didn't want to show off to your sister.] Lavender mentally deadpanned at Gardevoir.
The Gardevoir tried to refute, but couldn't deny the plain truth. [M… Maybe….]
[Hahh… Either way, we are sticking to battles and contests from now on, Sella]
[As you wish, Lady Lavender]
With that, they finished their modeling session. Gardevoir had to use her powers to carry Lavender back home since she was exhausted from maintaining the Mega Evolution.
At least they got good money.
'Not that we need much money either way… '
And that's it for this sneak peek at my soon-to-be Pokémon fanfiction.
Fun fact: My first fanfiction was going to be Pokémon, but it ended up being RWBY.
There are some possible spoilers here, but as with most of my fics, they are not that much planned ahead.
I do plan ahead a bit, but not much.
I love Pokémon, so this will probably be my most frequently updated fanfic.
The priority is going to be =
1.- Whatever this is going to be named
2.- Made of Glass
3.-Runic
4.- Remnant's Time Master (On Hiatus)
Gardevoir as part of the team is completely confirmed btw, you can already see a bit of her personality here, a dutiful maid. (Hence the name)
A lot of things happened in 2023… I wouldn't say this is the fabled "Fanfic writer's curse", but this year (And probably the next) is going to be one of change for me, not bad per se, but a lot will change for me.
I will probably be more active in updating my fanfics in 2024… (I won't promise anything though)
