Hello everyone, Happy New Year! And this right here is my newest idea for a story. After so many ideas and well not one of them being either finished or complete. So, here me out first before criticizing me. Yes, I haven't finished a single one and my writing style not to mention release for said stories are pretty chaotic. Huge understatement there. A bit of a backstory on what this story is. It was created after reading so many Ed Edd N Eddy fanfiction and crossover stories that I decided to make my own. Unfortunately, it was supposed to be released on Valentine's Day of 2023, but it didn't pan out so instead Halloween was chosen but didn't pan again and once more for Christmas etc. Now I am going to release here of all days, the very last day of the year. By New Year, I absolutely fucking promise that there will be more updates from here on out.
It was a normal day at school. If you counted getting slammed at full force by a guy causing you to fall off your chair in a heap.
"Dude stop that! This is not a Keijo match!" the one who got knocked down said indignantly
"How do you know?" His face turned into a devious smirk "Oh wait, you watch it don't you? Hey everyone! He watches Keijo!" he laughed, and everyone laughed with him
Having enough of his bullshit for once. He stands up and decided to confront his tormentor. "Hey I know let's do Keijo, now." The boy said and makes a come here motion with his hand
"Hear that? He wants to do it! Just so you know I won't go easy on you-" The former was immediately cut off, when the boy he was harassing belly bumped him at full speed and he ended up crashing to the ground in a skid. "Ugh…Can someone call the nurse…" he said in a dizzy voice before slinking off into a daze.
Later the boy was walking on a sidewalk and was accompanied by his two friends. Our main character here is Jago Arpia a tall and lanky guy. And he was wearing a dark blue short sleeve t-shirt over a long sleeve black shirt and black pants, with blue Vans Off the Wall slip-on shoes and was wearing a black cap with "Compton" written in Old English at the front.
Next to him and side by side were his friends Marquez Garcia and Inghae Dae-Kyun
Marquez was wearing a faded dark blue t-shirt with black short sleeves, olive green pants, and grey running shoes.
Dae-kyun is in a white button up uniform, with Khaki pants and shined dress shoes
"Man, what is up with him bothering me all the time." Jago complained
"You always make for an interesting target." Marquez chimed
"Yeah, he always likes to do that to you. Because you're the kind of guy that prefers to be left alone man." Inghae added
"Yeah, well he shouldn't have done that. Because if he did, I would have pulled this one out." He pulled a gun from behind his belt and pointed it sideways at his two friends. Who immediately panicked when their friend had a gun in his hands.
"Whoa, dude put that down!" Marquez panicked and immediately put his two hands up in surrender same with Inghae
"Relax, you two." He calmly said and put it back behind his pants between the belt and tucked in his shirt to hide it even further.
"Where did you even get that?" Inghae asked, now having calmed down
"Bought it off some guy off the street." He replied
"You shouldn't have showed it to us like that. Not to mention out in public." Marquez chided his friend, as he knew he would do something stupid like this
"Plus, you were pointing it sideways." Inghae added
"Here. Let me show you how to properly hold a gun." Marquez tried to take the gun away from his friend, but kept moving his hand away to prevent him from doing so
"Why are you trying to take my gun? I bought it." Jago hissed
"You're doing it wrong and will try and get yourself hurt." Marquez bit back
"Well, I'm gangsta and I know how to use a gun." He added
"One that is not true. Two you've been watching to many rap videos and playing GTA for so long your brain is fried." His friend pointed out matter-of-factly
"Hey guys, what happened to the sidewalk." Inghae Dae-kyun joined the conversation, the two stopped bickering and looked at their surroundings and they were surprised.
The sidewalk they were on was replaced with a black void
"What happened?" their Korean friend asked completely perplexed at these turn of events
"Shit, since when did an eclipse blocked out everything?" Jago voiced his opinion on the incredulity of their situation
"A Solar Eclipse doesn't work that way, Crip. Its quite possible we are witnessing a new form of planetary phenomena." Marquez tried to rationalize the current situation
"Yeah well, we gonna figure what happened here. Because I ain't standing in the dark." The wannabe gangsta added
"Do you hear that?" Inghae added
A faint sound could be heard. It wasn't the sort of eerie creepy voices you'd be hearing in a horror movie. The kind that makes your toes curl and make your stomach tie in a knot. But it sounded like a distant shouting match between two people barely heard over a short distance not to far where the three were standing.
"Yeah, it sounds like voices." Marquez reasoned
"What are you waiting for homies? We gotta get there!" Jago ordered
The three then got into a short sprint to ascertain the distance of where the voices were coming from. As they got closer it got higher and higher in pitch. That you could basically say you were right in front of a giant mega phone. They halted as soon as seven figures came into view. The people looked to be around their age group but their generally body shape looked wacky and inhuman. As if they came from a cartoon.
"Holy Shit! It's the cast from Ed Edd N Eddy!" Jago exclaimed in astonishment in who he was seeing just not to far from him, indeed he was. The titular trio and other male characters were with them right in front of their eyes
Eddy and Kevin were in each other's faces. Ed was being himself oblivious to the current situation. Double D was trying to figure out how they got here. Rolf had a hand under his chin and musing about the new location they were brought into. Jimmy looked like he was about to bust a gut with Sarah not around and because he was afraid of the dark. Jonny 2x4 was there but shockingly he did not have Plank with him and was shaking like a leaf with anxiety of not having his best friend with him.
"Hello there!" Marquez greeted, waving at them
The boys all stop to look at our 3 protagonists, Double D waved back at them
"Its good to see that we aren't the only ones here. How did you end up here?" he asked
"Well, we we're on a sidewalk minding our own business. Then out of the blue we got placed in this location." Jago replied
"We we're busy with a special project for my friend over there. When we came here." Double D jerked his thumb at Eddy and had to stress their original intentions so as not to give the wrong impression of them "Though I cannot find a reasonable explanation of our arrival here, I have come up with many theories that could require further investigation to-" Double D was pushed out of the way by Kevin
"Don't listen to Double Dork, over here." He said "This got's all the dorks hand in it if ya ask me."
"What the heck do you mean?! We don't know how we ended up in this joint!" Eddy interjected
"Baloney! Like you didn't do this." He pointed his finger at the short teen
"Oh, and you have a better idea, Professor Shovelchin?" Eddy shot back
"Since this bickering at once backwards-cap-wearing Kevin-boy and no money-snake oil-salesman Eddy-boy! Do you not see? This is a quest! For Rolf knows we have not been brought here in this realm blacker than Papa's foot soakings without reason." Rolf said dramatically
"Like, a magic quest?" Ed asked absent-mindedly
"Yes." Rolf said matter-of-factly like it answered all their questions
"Rolf, while I do not wish to insult your homeland's traditions. But that sounds a tad bit unfound." Double questioned Rolf's train of logic on their current situation
"I'm with dorky over here." Kevin added feeling a similar vibe with this
"Fools. You know nothing. The Goddess knows all." Rolf simply said
"Hey what's that?' Jimmy who had not been part of the conversation pointed to a small light in the distance
"Maybe it's a way out." Double D reasoned and began running towards it. The rest of them began to follow with Ed dragging along a frozen Jonny
As soon as they continued to run. The light grew bigger and bigger like a proverbial light at the end of the tunnel and when they reached it. At the end was a whole different sight to behold.
It was a city one larger than anything the Eds had built or even any of them had seen. Completely mesmerized it was here that deep in their brains. They knew they were far from home.
