I am back once again, with another chapter, featuring The Grand Opening of the Pizzaplex! I also have to admit that I will put this story on pause for a couple of weeks because I plan on moving back to my Sonic Cyber Revolution story, mainly because of the last part of Sonic Prime airing next week and I'm pretty sure that my head will only be filled with the blue hedgehog trying to save the universe once again. If you want to know when I will return back to FNaF: Obsolete, I'll keep you updated in the author's notes over in the Sonic Cyber Revolution fic.

Enjoy the chapter!

Night 22

Five Nights at Freddy's: Restart

''We're waiting every night to finally roam and invite newcomers to play with us, for many years we've been all alone. We're forced to be still and play the same songs we've known since that day. An imposter took our life away, now we're stuck here to decay. Please let us get in, don't lock us away, we're not like what you're thinking! We're poor little souls who have lost all control and we're forced here to take that role! We've been all alone, stuck in our little zone since 1987! Join us, be our friend, or just be stuck and defend, after all you only got – Five Nights at Freddy's! Is this where you want to be? I just don't get it, why do you want to stay? Five Nights at Freddy's! Is this where you want to be? I just don't get it, why do you want to stay? Five Nights at Freddy's, oh…''

If there was one word that could describe the current situation in Springtrap's mind, it would be ''surreal''. After so many weeks of waiting, Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex was celebrating its opening day, and he and Sam had arrived a couple of hours earlier as instructed to help out with the animatronics and S.T.A.F.F. Bots. They were currently standing on the upper floor at the lobby, staring at the entrance and observing the crowd that impatiently waited outside.

Sam had traded her dark purple and black uniform she wore at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria for a new one, consisting of a red short-sleeved T-shirt with a logo featuring Glamrock Freddy's head over her left breast pocket, with the words ''Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex'' underneath it, and silver words spelling out ''TECHNICIAN'' on her back, along with the logo of the Pizzaplex, black slacks and a name tag hanging on the black Glamrock-themed lanyard around her neck, labeling her as ''Samantha Blackburn, Animatronic Technician''. She had also kept her brown hair tied in a high ponytail with a purple scrunchie. Currently, she was on her smartphone, talking to Matt.

''So, we got about 10 minutes left until they open this place. How's the situation outside?'' she asked, having put him on the loudspeaker so Springtrap could hear their conversation.

''Uh, wild I suppose?'' Matt replied. ''I mean, people were showing up in costumes back at Freddy's, but I didn't expect that there would be so many cosplayers here. There are a bunch of families and kids, but I can see teens and even adults waiting alone or with their friends.''

''I'm not really surprised by how things turned out. Fazbear Entertainment was really aggressive when it came to advertising the Pizzaplex. They even added an update to Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, that allows you to enter a code to get a coupon for a free meal if you buy the game,'' Sam noted.

''They have certainly put more effort into this place than any of their other location. Even Circus Baby's Pizza World hadn't this much promotion,'' Springtrap said, reminiscing of the past for a moment.

''Well, I'll be seeing you two soon,'' Matt said, cancelling the call. Sam put her smartphone back into her pocket, glancing at Springtrap with a questioning look. He gave her a soft smile.

''I'd be lying if I said that neither me nor Henry had ever expected that Fredbear's Family Diner would ever expand into something like this,'' Springtrap said, pointing vaguely at the lobby. ''This place is the first Entertainment Complex of its kind.''

''Do you think that Henry would be happy to see what has become of Freddy's?'' Sam asked. Springtrap took a moment to think about it.

''It is hard to say. Henry did love the franchise we had created together, and I suppose he would be quite proud to see that people are still coming to Freddy's, even if it's a different location, to eat and have fun. However, Henry was never really an ambitious man, and was quite content with just maintaining Fredbear's Family Diner,'' Springtrap explained.

''I suppose you were the more ambitious one,'' Sam said.

Springtrap nodded, continuing the story, ''I had managed to convince Henry to push forward with expanding Fredbear's since it became incredibly popular, and we eventually founded the company that would become Fazbear Entertainment. You already know the rest of the story, though.'' Springtrap folded his arms across his chest, his eyes narrowing as he gazed at the lobby. ''However, after what happened at the last location and after our conversations last summer, I believe that Henry would hate the fact that Fazbear Entertainment has not only returned, but made a whole spectacle out of it. He wanted to end it all back when he started that fire. He wanted Freddy's to be gone for good and forgotten by the public.''

''What about you? Are you happy about what happened to Freddy's?'' Sam asked curiously. Springtrap hummed in thought.

''I don't believe that I can describe how I feel now as 'happy'. In fact, I'd say that 'impressed' would be a more fitting word. I am impressed with the new technology the Showtimes and Glamrocks possess, and I am impressed with how much effort Fazbear Entertainment put into this new location, even though I know their policy,'' Springtrap answered, a tiny smirk of amusement appearing on his expression. ''I suppose that, unlike Henry, I don't want Freddy's to end and be forgotten. Maybe it's because I was a co-founder, maybe it's because I was responsible for its horrifying history; but I always find myself coming back to this place. Even after the fire at Fazbear Frights, when I was free to go wherever I wanted, I still returned back to the Freddy's location even though I knew it was nothing more but a trap. Admittedly, I had also figured I'd find the exit, but that doesn't matter anymore. The point is, that location was something familiar, something I had associated myself with, and I am certain that. I belonged there.'' His eyes showed a faint glow of purple as he remembered what had happened. He then turned towards Sam. ''To answer your question, yes, I do feel happy about the Pizzaplex opening. However, I'm not happy about what might be lurking here.''

Sam then glanced at the clock of her smartphone, noting how they still had a couple more minutes left, and thought back to what she had been told. As they were counting down the days to the grand opening of the Mega Pizzaplex, Springtrap had noticed that more and more people have begun visiting Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, informing a busy Sam about his observation. Mostly, it were families with young children excited to see the animatronics, but more and more teenagers had been showing up, some even dressing up as the animatronics as if they were on their way to a convention. However, that wasn't the only thing that had happened.

Sam and Matt took note that in their high school, more and more of their classmates were talking about the Fazbear Franchise and the upcoming opening of the Mega Pizzaplex. While some were interested in visiting the place to see the attractions, a good chunk of them were talking about the Five Nights at Freddy's games, mainly Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, but also about the deleted games Fazbear Entertainment claimed to have been made by some lunatic. Some had even decided to dig into the past and found newspaper clips about the Missing Children Incident, which only got them more excited as the games were clearly based on a real event. It didn't help that those theories were fueled by YouTube videos, with some people even making songs based directly on the games, with one song even becoming so incredibly popular that people claimed it to be THE FNaF theme song.

Sam had to admit that it was quite interesting listening to all of the wild theories people were throwing out, trying to figure out what exactly the lore of the initial FNaF games was, from claiming that Phone Guy was Purple Guy and therefore the murderer, to all of the games being just a dream made up by a traumatized Crying Child, to the whole game being just a simulation made by a delusional creator. Sam also took note of the fact that no one was mentioning a glitching bunny when it came to the Help Wanted game, meaning that only the versions played by her and Vanessa contained the code for Glitchtrap inside them. At least she didn't have to worry about more people getting influenced by him… right?

''So, Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex is finally open.'' Springtrap's statement snapped Sam out of her thoughts and she looked back at the lobby, seeing the crowd coming inside, some looking somewhat unsure where to even go and just looking around, while others walked more confidently. Sam narrowed her eyes, trying to find Matt in the crowd and feeling glad that she had managed to spot him. He waved back at her, with Sam returning the gesture, not noticing that Springtrap was glaring at Matt and turning to him when he placed his hand on her shoulder. ''We should also go now.''

''Yeah, right. I was given the task to patrol all of the attractions that have the Glamrocks as mascots, as well as check on Monty,'' Sam said. From what she had been told, Victor and several other technicians would be keeping an eye on the S.T.A.F.F. Bots, since those could malfunction much more easily than the Glamrocks or Montgomery for that matter. There was also a technician tasked to keep an eye on DJ Music Man and another one was making sure that the Daycare Attendant was behaving properly. ''We'll go first to Rockstar Row.''

xXx

Matt had to admit that his first impression of the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex was just pure amazement. Even though Sam and Mr. Afton had described the place in as much detail as possible, it was a completely different thing to experience it in person. The only reason he even knew that his whole building was the converted Machinations Factory was because Sam had told him about it, as this place was otherwise unrecognizable. He was quite in awe, but he also felt disoriented, if not overwhelmed, due to just how many things were there to look at. Fortunately, Sam did give him a map of the building, whose image he had now uploaded on his smartphone, but he still had no clue where to go first.

It also didn't help that he wasn't quite fond of the crowd, which was growing only louder and louder the further he went inside. He knew that there was no way to escape the loud volume, as once people got comfortable inside the building, it would be a constant stream of noise. While Matt preferred quiet places, he was able to handle being here. However, he needed to figure out what exactly he was going to do. The initial plan was for him, Sam and Mr. Afton to look around for any signs of the Glitchtrap virus, but something Matt noted was that the virus would not show himself so soon and probably wait for them to lower their guard. The most they could do was to be patient.

''Hi! Please take this map.''

''Agh!'' Matt was startled by Map Bot, who eagerly extended his hand, handing out a map of the Pizzaplex to the teenager. Matt just smiled back sheepishly. ''Uh, no thanks. I don't need one.''

''Take a map,'' the robot responded, still holding out the map.

''No, seriously, I already have one,'' Matt replied, holding up his smartphone for the Map Bot to see.

''Take a map.'' Map Bot was persistent though, with Matt quickly realizing that he would be stuck with this robot. However, this was now a matter of stubborness.

''Once again, I really don't need one,'' Matt replied, holding up his hands in defense.

''Take. A. Map,'' Map Bot said in a firm tone, shoving the map right under his nose, causing Matt to flinch.

''Why are you singling me out? There are other people who need maps more than I do-'' Matt started, when suddenly, two teenage girls walked past them, one of them rolling her eyes and just grabbing the map out of the Map Bot's hand and giving Matt an annoyed look. Matt just stared at her, well aware that she thought that he was just playing dumb, but he didn't care. He was just relieved to get the Map Bot off his back.

''Now, let's see where I should go first…'' Matt muttered, quickly walking away and looking back at his smartphone. ''I suppose I could go to-''

''Hi! Please take a map!''

Map Bot appeared almost out of nowhere, starling Matt once again, just to hand him over a map. Matt almost fell over into the fountain surrounding the Glamrock Freddy statue.

''Dude, I already told you that I don't need one,'' Matt told the Map Bot.

''Take. THE. MAP!'' Map Bot waved with it in front of Matt's face, only for another passing group of teenagers to reach out for the map, causing Map Bot to focus on them for a moment.

When he turned around, he realized that Matt was suddenly gone, but he did spot the teenager rushing up the stairs to the upper floor of the Pizzaplex. Map Bot just stared at Matt until he vanished from his sight. Despite his expression showing no emotion, Map Bot did feel strange, almost insulted that a visitor got away without being given a map to navigate through the massive Pizzaplex.

His eyes glowing furiously, Map Bot was making his way upstairs, determined to fulfill his sole job.

After visiting Rockstar Row and making sure that all of the Glamrocks were outside their Green Rooms, Sam and Springtrap went first towards Bonnie Bowl. As expected, the bowling alley was cluttered with people wanting to try it out, with the shoe-rental counters being crowded as the employees were trying to handle everything. It was quite novelty for the patrons, especially those from directly from Huricanne, since if one wanted to go bowling, they would have to drive all over to St. George, and with the twenty-two lanes present, it would hopefully be enough for all of the visitors. There was also a line already forming at the ice-cream parlor, with two employees handling the orders.

''It seems that things are under control so far,'' Springtrap commented, both him and Sam overlooking Bonnie Bowl from the upper area. He did glance at Sam when she didn't answer, instead focusing on the bowling alley. ''Sam?''

''I should've brought binoculars or something… Ah, there he is!'' Sam pointed at a group of children surrounding Glamrock Bonnie, who took over one lane, explaining to the kids the rules of bowling.

''Should we go to greet him?'' Springtrap asked. Sam shook her head.

''No, I don't think that's necessary. We are supposed to intervene in case he malfunctions or is broken, but from what I see, Glamrock Bonnie is doing well,'' Sam replied, watching Bonnie has he showed off his skills, getting a strike. ''Woah, I'm impressed!''

''Tch, you're impressed by an animatronic who was created to be an expert in bowling getting a strike?'' Springtrap asked in a sarcastic tone. Sam turned to him with a mischievous grin.

''How many strikes did you achieve?'' she asked, giving him a smug look. Springtrap's eyes narrowed as he gave her an irritated look, groaning.

''How about we leave? You said you wanted to visit Glamrock Chica next, right?'' he asked, trying to change the topic.

''Sure,'' Sam replied, still smiling, well aware that she just hit a nerve. From what Roxanne and Chica told her, Springtrap really sucked at bowling. Of course, the way they told her, it sounded like he was a walking catastrophe, so Sam wasn't sure how much of their story was them just messing with Springtrap.

They went over to Mazercise, which was a fitness area with a bunch of pillows in it. The area itself was basically a huge maze for people to navigate around, as well as a snack bar on the side, offering discounts on unhealthy food and drinks. Surprisingly, there weren't too many people there, just a few who wanted to find their way out of Mazercise. Wondering where in the world Glamrock Chica had gone to, both of them started searching for her, until they finally returned back to the lobby and entered Faz-Pad.

The small fusion cuisine restaurant had a menu listing things that would be sold every day and also had a jazz theme playing in the background. There were several people sitting there, some waiting for their order, others drinking coffee… and Glamrock Chica bouncing from table to table, rattling off all the ingredients they could get on their pizza.

''Of course, there is a debate whether one would want pizza with actual toppings on it or just the dough and sauce. Can you believe that? Mini-Pizza with no toppings? I mean, I would eat them regardless since it is pizza, but I would love to know what you think,'' Glamrock Chica said, clasping her hands as she smiled sweetly at the man and woman who just stared at her with a bewildered look.

The employee who was working at the Faz-Pad noticed Sam and Springtrap standing at the entrance, mouthed ''HELP!'', pointing at Glamrock Chica. It was obvious that she wanted them to remove her from the restaurant. The patrons were mainly adults and clearly not in the mood to talk to an excited chicken who promoted food that wasn't even on the menu. Sam just sighed, feeling a bit like a babysitter for the Glamrocks.

''Hey, Chica! We were just searching for you!'' Sam called out for the white chicken, with Chica being quite happy to see her. She quickly approached them.

''Really? What do you need me for? Should I go to the kitchen?'' she asked.

''Actually, I've been wondering why you weren't at the Mazercise,'' Sam said, gesturing to Chica to follow her.

''Oh, I've already gave my speech there and decided to move on and visit the other parts of the Pizzaplex to promote the food,'' Chica explained.

''Maybe you should promote food that it is actually being sold,'' Springtrap commented, with Chica giving him an irked look.

''The Pizzaplex sells pizza, therefore no matter which area I am in, I can talk about our primary dish,'' Chica replied, placing her hands on her hips as she stared at Springtrap. Sam quickly intervened.

''I think you would get more people to listen to you if you go to the Atrium. After all, that's where the main food court is,'' she pointed out.

''I had planned to do that once I was done with Faz-Pad. Do you want to come along?'' Chica asked.

''Maybe later. I still need to check on Roxy and Monty,'' Sam replied.

''Well, last time I saw Roxy, she had told me she wanted to give some children a makeover at the Glamrock Beauty Salon,'' Chica told her.

''Thanks for the heads up. We'll see you later,'' Sam replied, waving at Chica as she and Springtrap made their way towards Roxy Raceway.

''Is it just me or is Glamrock Chica way too obsessed with pizza?'' Springtrap asked. ''At least in comparison to Showtime Chica.''

''Well, we were told that her food obsession is one of her main traits. I suppose nobody thought to tone it down,'' Sam replied.

''This will become problematic in the future,'' Springtrap noted. ''She might start to force people to eat pizza.''

''Well, I wouldn't be surprised, considering what Fazbear Entertainment's policy is,'' Sam replied.

xXx

Matt took a deep breath, leaning against the wall somewhere at the Fazcade. For some reason, he had been pursued by the Map Bot and he tried to shake him off, but the latter managed to always find him. However, given how huge the Fazcade was, he was certain that the Map Bot wouldn't find him here.

Speaking of the Fazcade, it contained three floors connected with spiral staircases, with a bridge branching across the third floor, and numerous arcade machines. There were Japanese-styled karaoke rooms located on the third floor along with the security office. Located on the first floor was a big DJ arena and booth, which was manned by DJ Music Man.

''Woah!'' Matt had to admit that he was a bit shocked by DJ Music Man's sheer size. While he knew that DJ Music Man was the biggest animatronic out of all of them, this was something else. Matt had to admit that he looked quite intimidating, even though he was just jamming out to a techno tune peppered with guitar rifs that really fit the Fazcade's overall vibe. ''Maybe I should start with this place then? I did want to try out some of those arcade games.''

Matt started to walk around, observing the kids and teens who were glued to the arcades. He wondered which arcade game he should play first, noting that, while he was on a mission here, he figured that he should also enjoy himself a bit. However, as he passed through, he noted that something felt off. It took him a moment, but he soon realized that the techno tune changed. Sure, it was still similar, but this one felt more heart-pounding, as if was about to get hunted down.

''Please take the map! Please take the map!''

''Oh, damn!''

Matt turned around, panicking when he saw Map Bot barreling right towards him, his determination to give the teenager a map only boosted by what Matt came to recognize as the Map Bot's Boss Music, courtesy of DJ Music Man.

''Dude, leave me alone!''

Matt ran across the Fazcade, searching for the exit, with Map Bot following him, now feeling less like a helpful robot and more like a predator. As for DJ Music Man, he just kept jamming out to the new tune, having been inspired by the seemingly innocent events before him.

xXx

The GlamRock Beauty Salon was featured in a rocky desert area and had a barren interior. Inside it were multiple salon stations and a small stage for Roxanne Wolf, and outside, there was a play area with a ballpit, some boxes, and a swing set. Roxanne herself was inside the salon with a few little girls and boys, who wanted her to put some make-up on them.

''Of course, my fans are the best! Now, who is next?'' Roxanne said, having put the finishing touches on a little girl, her eyes covered in red eye-shadow and her cheeks now much redder. The girl looked quite happy, although her mother, who was standing nearby, rose an eyebrow at the excessive make-up.

''Hey, can you draw a robot on my cheek?'' a boy asked, with Roxanne nodding as she held up the brush.

''I can do you one better! Do you want me to draw your favorite animatronic?'' she asked, with the boy nodding in excitement, with Roxanne starting to draw a simplistic chibi version of herself with the make-up she had been given to entertain the kids.

Meanwhile, at the entrance to the beauty salon, Sam and Springtrap were just observing what was going on, with Sam commenting, ''Roxy seems to be really popular among the kids.''

''Honestly, I'm not surprised, but I assume that some people will wonder where Foxy is,'' Springtrap noted.

''Yeah, but that will be a problem Fazbear Entertainment will have to deal with,'' she said, beckoning Springtrap to follow her, as the next location she wanted to visit was Monty's Gator Golf. As they walked over there, Springtrap noted that, while Sam tried to keep a cheerful demeanor, she would fall silent from time to time, as if thinking about something serious, and her mood would darken.

''What's on your mind?'' he asked, with Sam turning to him as she snapped out of her thoughts.

''I was just wondering how long it will take until this turns into another Five Nights at Freddy's game,'' she said. ''From the notifications I've gotten, Fazbear Entertainment wanted to completely reboot the Freddy's Franchise, making sure to erase all of the animatronics that existed in the past – Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, the Classic Animatronics, the Toy Animatronics, the Circus Gang – basically everyone besides the Showtime Animatronics. However, the feeling I'm getting is that this is not a reboot, but just them restarting the same game they had been playing for over four decades. Sure, no one has been murdered, yet, but I have no doubt that we might have to deal with haunted animatronics once again.''

''Well, technically, you are already dealing with a haunted animatronic,'' Springtrap pointed out.

''I'm not counting you since you're from a different era,'' Sam replied.

''I suppose you're right, but I would disagree with you in regards to the statement that Fazbear Entertainment has completely erased their past, as they are still making light of it in their Help Wanted video game,'' Springtrap noted, only to stop as they passed by a particular hallway. He stared at the sign next to it. ''Not to mention, they literally made a museum dedicated to the past.''

Sam glanced at the hallway Springtrap was looking at, well aware that it was leading to an area at the basement level of the Pizzaplex that displayed replicas of old animatronics and props from previous restaurants, including Fredbear's Family Diner, all variants of the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Circus Baby's Pizza World, the Fazbear Fright attraction and even the location Henry and Mike had built before it got burned down. They hadn't visited it yet, as it was still under construction, but they planned on going there once it was done.

''Yeah, you're right, but still, they will never reveal the whole truth,'' Sam pointed out. Springtrap nodded in agreement. Sam then glanced at her smartphone, checking the time. ''We should move on. The Glamrocks will have their introduction concert soon, and I want to check on Monty and Freddy.''

The two picked up the pace, eventually arriving at Monty's Gator Golf. Surprisingly, there weren't too many people there, and even those who were there didn't appear to be too fond of Monty, clearly ignoring the alligator animatronic whenever he tried to approach them to interact with them. By the look on his expression, he clearly felt quite bothered by this.

''Hey, Monty!'' Montgomery looked up, surprised to see Sam running over to him. While he knew that she was mainly here to check on him, at this point he appreciated any kind of attention. ''How are you doing?''

''Eh, I could be doin' better,'' Monty replied, placing the golf club he was holding over his shoulder. ''Do you see any players 'ere?''

''I'm sorry that there aren't too many people here. I'm sure that traffic will pick up,'' Sam said, trying to cheer him up. However, Monty just waved her off with a gloomy look on his expression.

''I don't blame ye for this. I'm just not as popular as Freddy 'n his band,'' Montgomery replied. ''I just hope my attraction won't get shut down.''

''Fazbear Entertainment won't shut down an attraction just because of its lack of popularity on day one,'' Springtrap said, speaking from a strictly logical standpoint. ''Keep in mind, you are a brand new animatronic who hasn't been shown before. It will take a while for people to warm up to you.''

''Then what about Roxy? She's just as new as I am,'' Montgomery protested.

''Roxy was created as a replacement for Foxy, and she is heavily promoted as one of the band members,'' Sam stated. ''It is no surprise that people would be already used to her.'' She then gave Monty a confident smile. ''Hey, how about this? When I'm on break, I'll come over to play a round with you and you can then teach me everything about mini golf.''

''That sounds like a plan,'' Montgomery replied, perking up a bit as he realized that he might've had at least one loyal fan.

''Sam! Hey, Sam!''

Sam, Springtrap and Montgomery turned around, only to see Matt running towards her. He skidded to a halt, taking a moment to catch his breath.

''Matt, what's wrong?'' Sam asked, now alarmed when she saw her friend. ''Did something happen?''

''I… I need your help with the Map Bot. He won't leave me alone,'' Matt said, with Sam staring at him for a moment in complete bewilderment and confusion.

''What?'' she asked in a flat tone.

''Please take the map! Please take the map!''

The group's attention turned towards Map Bot, who just turned around the corner and was speeding towards them, waving around the map he was holding. He approached Matt, shoving the map into his face.

''I said I don't need one,'' Matt replied, backing away and giving Sam a pleading look. ''See? He just won't leave me alone. I don't want a map, but this guy has been following me all around this place to give me one. Com'n, you're the technician. Could you please fix him and make him stop following me?''

Sam stared at him for a moment, then sighed in exasperation. She thought that this was a case of an actual emergency, but it was actually a situation where the Map Bot showed once again his signature persistence.

''Matt, just take the damn map and he'll leave you alone,'' Sam told him, pinching the bridge of her nose. Matt, now feeling resigned to his fate, decided to take the map Map Bot was offering him. He then looked at Map Bot who, despite his unchanging expression, seemed to be way happier than before.

''I suppose that's-''

''Hi! Please take another map!'' Map Both suddenly popped right up in front of Matt, offering him another map. Matt gave Sam a bewildered look, while Springtrap just burst out laughing at seeing Matt's misery. Even Montgomery started laughing, thinking that this whole situation was actually genuinely funny. Matt, on the other hand, just frowned and gave them an annoyed look.

''Okay, now you're just being unnecessarily petty,'' Matt told Map Bot. The latter then stopped for a moment, and Matt could've sworn that the robot grinned at him in amusement, even though he had no mouth, before leaving the group.

''I guess that's now resolved,'' Sam said, turning back to Montgomery. ''Unfortunately, I still need to check on Freddy before the concert, but I promise I'll be back as soon as possible.''

Montgomery just nodded in response, knowing that he couldn't really blame his, currently, only fan for having to do her job, and while he rather would've wanted to keep her around at his own attraction, he knew that that wasn't possible.

''If you guys are going to play mini golf, maybe I could join in?'' Matt said.

''Really?'' Montgomery was surprised, but also pleased to hear that.

''Yeah… I actually wanted to try out the Fazcade, but the Map Bot kept following me around, so I couldn't do that. So long as I don't run into him again, I'll be happy to play with you,'' Matt said. ''Although, I would need a crash course in mini golf, since we didn't have any courses in New Harmony. Not that my parents would ever take me to one.''

''I'll be happy to teach ya everythin' I know,'' Montgomery said proudly.

''That's great!'' Matt nodded. Meanwhile, Sam glanced at her smartphone again.

''I'm sorry, but I need to go now to the Atrium,'' Sam said.

''I'll see you there later,'' Matt replied, deciding to stay a bit at Monty's Gator Golf, while Sam and Springtrap quickly left for the Atrium. However, just as they got there, they spotted Glamrock Freddy walking away from it.

''Freddy! Hey Freddy!'' Sam called out for the Glamrock Animatronic, who stopped for a moment, surprised to see her.

''Sam? It is nice to see you again,'' Freddy said happily, then glanced at the bunny animatronic who accompanied her. ''You too, Springtrap!''

''I assume that you're on your way to the elevator for your big performance,'' Springtrap said.

''I am. I had actually asked Chica to go ahead, and I hope Bonnie and Roxy will join us soon. We cannot start the concert with out them,'' Freddy told them, a shadow appearing over his face.

''Freddy, are you okay?'' Sam asked, feeling a bit concerned about Freddy.

''I am functioning perfectly fine,'' Freddy replied, trying to brush off her concerns. ''Although, I do feel a little nervous. This is our first performance and I want it to go as smoothly as possible. I do not want to disappoint anyone.''

''I'm sure that you'll do just fine,'' Sam cheered him up.

''Thank you for you for your support,'' Freddy replied, smiling at her. ''I should be going now. I hope you will enjoy the show!''

Sam and Springtrap observed Glamrock Freddy as he left, with Sam glancing at Springtrap. ''So, do you want to watch the concert or do you want to take a look around while everyone else is busy with it?''

''I had figured that I would stick by your side, for now. What do you want to do?'' Springtrap replied, with Sam noting how Springtrap just dodged her question.

''It would be better for us to do some investigation… but I really want to support Freddy and his friends,'' Sam said. ''Let's just hope that nothing bad will happen.''

''Yeah, let's hope that nothing bad happens,'' Springtrap repeated, nodding in agreement.

xXx

''Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Fazbear Entertainment would like you to put your hands together for the one, the only, Freddy Fazbear!''

Loud 80s rock music blared through the speakers as people cheered, with the platform on the stage rising and revealing the Glamrock Band in their full glory. Smoke and neon lights covered the stage, with Glamrock Bonnie, Roxanne Wolf, Glamrock Chica and the star himself, Glamrock Freddy, starting their concert. They started playing and dancing, with Bonnie, Roxy and Chica showing off their skills on the bass, keytar and guitar respectively, while Freddy ran up to the front with the microphone stand in his hand, punching the air to get the visitors even more hyped up. Cheers and chants errupted when he took the microphone off the stand.

''Welcome everyone to Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex!'' Freddy's voice boomed across the Atrium as the music still played. ''My name is Freddy Fazbear, and these are my friends, Bonnie, Roxy and Chica, and we are the Glamrock Band! We hope that you all are enjoying your time here!'' He paused for a moment for the people to respond, once again cheering and clapping for them. ''That is great to hear! I sincerely hope that you will continue to visit us, as we will always be here to entertain you! Let us start the party then!''

The Glamrock Animatronics then launched into their performance, with people singing along as much as they could. However, at the back of the Atrium, albeit close enough to get a good look at the stage, there was someone who had a different song on her mind.

Springtrap gazed at Sam, who stared intently at the stage. Instead of humming along with the rock song the Glamrock Band were performing, she was humming a different, more familiar tune – one that had been stuck in her head the whole day, and now that barely anyone could hear her, she felt safe to sing it to herself. It was Toreador March, a song every version of Freddy Fazbear would perform for the audience… save for Glamrock Freddy. Then, the lyrics followed…

''We're waiting every night to finally roam and invite newcomers to play with us, for many years we've been all alone...''

Springtrap was genuinely stunned when he heard the song after Sam introduced him to it. Someone from school has told her that a band called The Living Tombstone was making songs based on pop culture, and considering how popular the Freddy's Franchise was getting, especially with the Five Nights at Freddy's games, they decided to publish their own song and contribute to the popularity of the games.

''We're forced to be still and play the same songs we've known since that day. An imposter took our life away, now we're stuck here to decay…''

It was quite chilling just how accurate the lyrics were to the past events, all written in the belief that they just followed the game canon rather than any real life events. Of course, who would even believe the stories about the haunted animatronics?

''Please let us get in, don't lock us away, we're not like what you're thinking! We're poor little souls who have lost all control and we're forced here to take that role! We've been all alone, stuck in our little zone since 1987! Join us, be our friend, or just be stuck and defend, after all you only got–''

However, as Sam had put it now, this was just a Restart of another Five Nights at Freddy's video game. It was just another location, with another group of animatronics. There was a very real danger of the past repeating once again. So, all they could do now was to wait and observe. They could continue celebrating, but a shadow would fall over them, one stained by blood.

''Five Nights at Freddy's! Is this where you want to be? I just don't get it, why do you want to stay? Five Nights at Freddy's! Is this where you want to be? I just don't get it, why do you want to stay? Five Nights at Freddy's, oh…''
