Hello, everyone. Here is the first chapter of my new story. I hope that you guys enjoy this chapter and stick around with it. I'm also doing a spinoff of this fanfiction, the details of it can be found on my profile page.
I'm not sure if I can do weekly updates with this, but I will do my best to get a chapter done as soon as possible. I hope you guys give this story a chance. I know the idea might sound a little crazy and farfetched but this is fanfiction, there is no limits in the freedom of writing.
Now, let's begin this new tale.
Chapter 01: A New World
Tanzaku Town
In a little town where a festival was happening, a teenager with spiky blonde hair, blue-eyes and whisker marks on his cheeks jumped from roof to roof. He was wearing orange and black clothes along with a long headband with a metal plate with a leaf on it and rushed towards the center of the city.
"Alright, another training session is done. Time to tell Pervy Sage about my progress!" The boy jumped down to an alley and started running through at fast speed before he tripped and fell.
"Ow…What the heck?" The boy shook his head before he noticed a pair of legs sticking out. He looked and he saw a boy, 14 years with red and green hair passed out. "Oh man, this guy doesn't look good." The blonde boy picked up the tomato hair boy. "Hang on, buddy. Naruto Uzumaki will get you some help." Naruto jumped from rooftop to rooftop once more carrying a potential new friend.
Dream Sequence
The tomato haired boy panted as he looked at monsters coming towards him. He felt weak and he didn't have the strength to fight or even run. The monsters fired at him and he fell back.
"Damn it…Yuzu…Ruri…Rin…Serena…" The boy winced from his wounds.
"Yuka…Yumiko…Yukio…Yusaku…" A monster hovered over the boy and he fired.
Tanzaku Town – Hotel
"He's got weird clothes, don't you think?" Naruto questioned a white-haired old man.
"Says the one who wears orange all the time." The man responded.
"Hey, orange is cool, Pervy Sage." Naruto insulted.
"For the last time, it's Toad Sage. Better yet, you should be calling me Master Jiraiya!" The old man, known as Jiraiya shouted.
"U-Urgh…" The tomato haired boy groaned.
"Hey, I think he's coming around." Naruto said as he and Jiraiya hovered over him as he opened his eyes.
"Is this…heaven?" The boy asked.
"No, you're alive. Though you look really terrible." Naruto admitted.
"Here, have some water." Jiraiya gave the boy a cup of water.
"Thanks." The boy drank the water before he looked at his reflection and coughed out the water in shock.
"Whoa, you okay?" Naruto was surprised by the boy's reaction. Was the water that bad?
The boy went to the mirror and he patted his face, hair and his entire body. "WHY AM I 14 AGAIN?!" The boy shouted so loudly that it shook the entire town.
"Whoa, kid settle down." Jiraiya gestured the boy to calm down.
"How am I supposed to calm down?! I somehow de-aged. I'm alive when I thought I was dead! Oh, my god! My wives, my kids, my friends! Quick, tell me where Maiami City is?!" The boy shook Jiraiya violently.
"Pull it together, man!" Naruto grabbed the boy and slapped him very hard across the face.
"Thank you." The boy calmed down.
"Wow, violence does solve problems." Naruto smiled.
"Not really." Jiraiya moaned from the shaking. "Kid, we have no idea what you're talking about, and we don't even know your name."
"It's Yuya Ryuga." Yuya answered.
"Nice to meet you, man. I'm Naruto Uzumaki and that's Pervy Sage." Naruto introduced himself and Jiraiya.
"Wrong!" Jiraiya smacked Naruto on the head hard. "Ahem! The title of Toad Sage is merely a disguise!" Jiraiya did a hop dance. "I shall tell you my true identity. I am the man who has no enemies in the North, South, East and West…" He threw his scroll in the air. "Not even in the heavens! I am on the Sannin…White-haired toad tamer…" He summoned a toad. "Even a crying baby would stare in awe…the Great Lord Jiraiya!" Jiraiya finished his dance with a pose.
"Huh?" Yuya tilted his head in confusion.
"Short version he's a powerful ninja but a mega pervert who writes books." Naruto gave the short version.
"Okay…" Yuya sweat dropped. "Wait, did you say ninjas?"
"Yeah, I'm a ninja too. Watch this?" Naruto made a t-shape with his fingers. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Two copies of Naruto appeared. "Which is the real one?"
"Whoa…" Yuya was taken aback. "How'd you do that?"
"I'm just that cool." Naruto boasted.
"Getting back on topic." Jiraiya cleared his throat. "What's the last thing you remember, Yuya?"
"The last thing I remember was…dying…I was fighting to stop some monsters from invading the United World. But I'm younger than I should be, I'm supposed to an adult now." Yuya looked at his hands.
"You do have a mature aura around you, much more than this knucklehead." Jiraiya pointed to Naruto.
"Hey." Naruto pouted.
"But I'm sorry to tell you kid, but this Maiami City you're talking about, doesn't exist here. This is the Land of the Five Great Nations. You're currently in the Land of Fire. The others are the Land of Wind, Water, Earth and Lightning, and each land has their own ninja." Jiraiya explained.
"Ninjas…the only ninjas I know are Duelists from the Fuma Ninja School. But they don't use whatever Naruto did, they used their Duel Monster cards. Wait…" Yuya looked at left wrist and his eyes widened. "My Duel Disk! Did someone take it? I know my cards were mostly destroyed but…"
"What's a Duel Disk?" Naruto questioned.
"It's how you play your Duel Monster cards. You don't have Duel Monsters here?" Yuya questioned.
"Man, you have a lot things that we don't know about." Naruto crossed his arms.
"So do you. Ninjas, clones, it's like this is a different…" Yuya's eyes widened. "Different universe. Holy crap…I'm in another universe."
"Another universe?" Naruto was confused.
"It makes sense, I have things you don't have, and you have things that I don't have. You have a different way of life; it makes total sense." Yuya said.
"Sounds like a bunch of nonsense." Naruto remained skeptical. "Right, Pervy Sage?"
"It does sound like nonsense, but if I've learned anything as a writer is that even in the world of fantasy there is always a hint of truth within the pages." Jiraiya said. "Say kid, this Duel Monsters that you're talking about, it's a game, right?"
"Yes." Yuya answered.
"Then this is a good opportunity to see if you're telling the truth and it is the next step in your training Naruto. Yes, we can kill two birds with one stone with this." Jiraiya smirked.
"Please don't say that. It kind of hurts." Yuya winced since one of his wives loves birds.
"Follow me." Jiraiya gathered his stuff.
Land of Fire – Ruins
Naruto and Jiraiya landed in front of an archway that led to some ruins up ahead. "This is the place."
"So, what's my next training destroying these ruins?" Naruto asked.
"You idiot. This is a sacred area and not everything that's training involves new kinds of jutsu or strength. Besides, we have to wait before we do anything." Jiraiya scolded.
"Why do we have to wait?" Naruto was confused.
"Don't tell me you forgot our plus one." Jiraiya sighed, sometimes this kid was too much.
Panting was heard as Yuya jogged over to them, he was pouring with sweat and he collapsed on the ground. "I think I just did my cardio for the year."
"Man, you're weak." Naruto insulted.
"Not all of us can jump from branch to branch. And you could've offered to carry me." Yuya glared at Naruto.
"Sorry, this guy only carries girls, not wusses." Naruto mocked again.
"Enough, both of you." Jiraiya stopped the boys fighting. "Here, stay hydrated." Jiraiya gave Yuya some water.
"Naruto, you have grown in strength and size compared to your pipsqueak form." Jiraiya noted.
"Heh, pipsqueak…" Yuya snorted, making Naruto glare.
"But you haven't grown much in here." Jiraiya pointed to his head. "That's why this temple is gonna help you get smarter."
"What? But I hate strategizing, and I always adapt during a fight. Plus, and you've noticed it yourself, I'm good at not giving up." Naruto pointed out.
"Tenacity will only get you so far. One day, you'll meet someone just like you, or worse and they may be even stronger than you. If that's the case, strategy will help you get an edge. Besides, a Hokage needs to be wise, you're not even at the same level as Tsunade and she's just barely above average, in more ways than one." Jiraiya blushed and giggled.
"Dude seriously, you thinking pervy thoughts now." Yuya deadpanned at Jiraiya.
"You'd be too if the woman you loved was 106 centimeters." Jiraiya stated proudly.
"106?" Yuya raised an eyebrow. Jiraiya whispered something in Yuya's ear and he blushed. "C-Can we get back on topic?" Yuya stuttered.
"Sure thing, anyway inside those ruins are a series of puzzles that require a sharp mind to complete and according to the locals there's supposedly a treasure there that makes our technology seem like the age of the dinosaurs." Jiraiya said. "Maybe it's that Duel Disk you were mentioning."
"But you're not 100% sure." Yuya asked.
"The only way to do it is to check it out. But you two will have to work together, because the only way to solve it is by teamwork." Jiraiya said.
"Oh, then this will be easy. Yuya, you can do all the thinking and I'll do the physical stuff." Naruto smiled.
"Ah, ah, ah. Naruto you will be doing the thinking and Yuya will do the physical stuff. And in case you get anymore ideas." Jiraiya slapped a seal on Naruto.
"H-Hey, what the hell, Pervy Sage?" Naruto tried to make Shadow Clones. "Wh-What, I can't build up any chakra."
"The chakra seal will stay on you until you complete the puzzles and you can't remove it." Jiraiya said.
"Well, at least I still have my Taijutsu." Naruto mumbled.
"Oh, that reminds me." Jiraiya put wristbands and ankle bands on Naruto and the weight brought him down to the ground, creating a mini crater. "Now your movement is very limited. You got work on the noggin their kid."
"And you should probably work on your core strength. Here put these on." Jiraiya gave Yuya colorful beads for his arms and legs. Yuya put them and he really felt the weight. "Oh man, that's really heavy." Yuya struggled but he was still standing.
"Listen, those beads will change color, when their red, you can take them off and you'll see a difference in your strength." Jiraiya said.
"Red, got it." Yuya said. "Okay, let's go inside, Naruto." Yuya walked towards the ruins, albeit slowly since he was still getting used to the weights.
"Hey, I'm the leader!" Naruto grunted loudly and dragged himself to follow Yuya.
"Let's see what you two got." Jiraiya watched the boys.
First Puzzle
"Whew, made it." Yuya wiped off the sweat off his face. "Hey, it changed color, it's blue." Yuya noticed his beads had changed.
"Good to know…" Naruto wheezed. "Okay, so what's the first puzzle."
The boys saw a table with a pathway leading down to a maze. "Looks like a maze." Yuya looked down at the maze and at the table. "Looks like Jiraiya wasn't wrong when he said the two of us have to work together. Alright, I'll go down to the maze and you guide me."
"But we don't have to do what he says. He's not here." Naruto said.
"I am a man of my word, and you should be too. Unless you don't want to be Hokage." Yuya smirked.
"Oh, those are fighting words. And I would fight if I didn't feel like a block of cement. Just get down there so I can prove you wrong." Naruto pointed to the maze.
Yuya climbed down to the maze while Naruto went to the table that had the model maze. "It's just a maze, it's easy. Instead of starting at start, start at finish and work backwards to find the correct path." Naruto said.
Naruto looked at the maze. "Okay…okay…" Naruto nodded. "Yuya, step forward three spaces!"
"Okay." Yuya said. Yuya moved one step and suddenly the walls suddenly shifted. "Uh, Naruto the path changed as soon as I moved a step!"
"Oh, come on, it changes paths every space!" Naruto complained. "Okay, move to the right!"
Yuya moved and the walls moved again. "Uh oh, I'm boxed in."
"What?! Oh, come on!" Naruto complained.
Yuya then fell through the panel he was on and popped back up at the start. "Looks like you have start over again!"
"Okay, I can do this. I can do this…" Naruto said.
Two hours later
"Please!" Naruto cried. "Please let me just go through!" Naruto wailed as Yuya returned once again to the start.
"Okay, this is getting really sad." Yuya said. "No matter what we try though, the walls seem to always trap me. What to do?" Yuya accidentally kicked a stone and it hopped across two panels straight with the walls closing in.
"Wait, the walls close from the start to the end. That's it!" Yuya's eyes widened. "Naruto! Do you still remember the original path?!"
"Yes…but it's not working…" Naruto moaned.
"Listen, I'm gonna run and you tell me whether to turn right or left. You have the correct path; I just need to be faster than the walls." Yuya pointed out.
"Oh, oh, I get ya! Okay, let's do this!" Naruto got confident.
"Ready when you are." Yuya got ready to run.
"Go!" Yuya started to running as Naruto gave directions. "Go Right! Left! Go Left then Right! Do a double left!" Yuya kept running as the walls changed behind him, but he moved faster. "Hom stretch! Yuya! Run! Run!" Naruto screamed.
Yuya sprinted to the finish and jumped through the finish and the maze disappeared and a door opened. "Whoo! We did it!" Yuya smiled. He noticed his beads changed again. "Green."
"Man, I guess I should work smarter instead of harder." Naruto sighed. He should've focused on more than just getting to the goal.
"Come on, Naruto. Two more puzzles." Yuya ushered Naruto to follow him.
Second Puzzle
Yuya and Naruto arrived in the second room where it looked like a bunch of misshapen rocks were all over the place. "Hey, these rocks look like puzzle pieces." Naruto said.
"Wow, the second puzzle is a literal puzzle. Who knew?" Yuya said.
"I wonder what it's gonna look like when placed together." Naruto scratched his head.
"Well, that's your job to figure out." Yuya grunted as he picked up one of the rocks. "I'll be the one to put it together. God, this is heavy." Yuya placed it down.
1 hour later
Yuya connected to pieces together. "I'm gonna take a break to catch my breath." Yuya panted as he sat down. They were able to connect some of the pieces together but they still had no idea what it was gonna make.
"All the pieces have to fit together." Naruto was thinking. "Why doesn't this place have picture of what the puzzle is supposed to look like?" Naruto laid on his back and sighed.
He opened his eyes and he saw a drawing on the ceiling. "Huh?" He rotated himself and he saw the painting was a man doing the ninja sign for rat. "Ask and I shall receive, break's over, move the pieces now!"
"But I just sat down…" Yuya moaned.
"Do it." Naruto glared.
It took 30 minutes to move all the pieces to the right place but the statue was complete and the last door to the final puzzle opened. "That was easy." Naruto smiled with pride.
"Easy for you…" Yuya wiped his sweat as his beads changed from green to yellow. "At least I got something out of this."
"Come on, to the final puzzle, which I will excel at." Naruto boasted as he ran ahead.
"He's gonna scream in 3…2…1…" Yuya counted down from his fingers.
"NO!" Naruto screamed in horror.
"And there it is." Yuya walked towards the next room.
Final Puzzle
"Okay, what's got you all screaming and panicking?" Yuya asked.
"It's the most frustrating and stupidest thing ever invented on the planet!" Naruto yelled with vast hatred that a vein popped out from the side of his head.
Yuya looked over Naruto's shoulder. "A Rubik's cube, that's what you're upset about?" Yuya gave Naruto a deadpan look.
"These things are pure evil! Just when you think you got it solved, the other six sides are all wrong!" Naruto yelled.
"I think you mean, "Just when you think you got one side solved, the other five sides are all wrong." Because a cube has six sides so you really can't call it—" Yuya pointed out.
"Don't go Academic on me!" Naruto screamed. "If I have to solve this, my brain is gonna explode!"
"I'm actually surprised that you do have a brain." Yuya muttered under his breath.
"Alright, that's it!" Naruto had enough and charged at Yuya and tackled him to the ground. "What is your problem? Ever since we've got to this temple, you've done nothing but demean me!"
"I wouldn't have to demean you if you had just done what you're told to do! You keep looking for shortcuts and when you do succeed you get a massive ego, which nobody likes!" Yuya pushed Naruto off of him.
"At least I'm not whining like a baby. You keep complaining because you're out of shape!" Naruto punched Yuya in the stomach.
"What part of I'm from another universe don't you understand?!" Yuya got Naruto in a headlock. "We don't do things like you do."
Naruto reared his head back and struck Yuya hard in the nose. "There you go with the nonsense again! There's no such thing as another world or the Multiverse!"
"There is a Multiverse, that's the whole reason I'm here in this temple. If that treasure is my Duel Disk, I can use it to get home and see my family!" Yuya punched Naruto in the stomach. "I would do anything for my family, I thought someone like you would understand!" Both Yuya and Naruto wrestled with each other.
"Well, I don't understand! Because I don't have a family!" Naruto yelled.
"Wait, what?" Yuya was surprised and stopped wrestling Naruto. "You don't have a family?" Naruto got off of Yuya and turned his back on him. "What about Jiraiya, isn't he your grandpa?" Yuya asked.
"He's just my mentor. That's it." Naruto said. "I don't have a mom or a dad or any brothers or sisters. I don't even know if they even wanted me. Or if they're even still alive."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." Yuya apologized. "My parents died when I was a kid. They did everything they could to protect me so I could have a future."
"Well, if my parents did die for me, it wasn't really a good life for me. Everyone hated me and refused to acknowledge me over something I had no control over." Naruto said. "I thought things were looking up when I got stronger…but it pushed my friend away and I couldn't keep my promise of a lifetime. That's why I want to get stronger as fast as possible but…"
"You got stuck with helping me out." Yuya figured it out. "Look, we only got one more puzzle to complete. After that, we'll go our separate ways."
"Fine." Naruto said as he grabbed the Rubik's cube he dropped and passed it to Yuya. "You twist and turn; I'll tell you what to do next."
10 minutes later
"Huh, wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be." Naruto said as Yuya finished moving the last piece.
The door to the way forwards opened. "Come on, let's go see that treasure." Yuya said with Naruto walking behind him.
Treasure Room
Naruto and Yuya arrived in the treasure room, or lack of treasure since there was really nothing but one chest on a pedestal.
"Alright, let's grab the treasure and get out of here." Naruto said.
Yuya walked up to the chest and he opened it and inside was the Hero's Honor Duel Disk. "I won't lose you again." Yuya took the Duel Disk and put it on.
The door behind Naruto closed fast. "H-Hey?!" Naruto went to the door and tried to open. "The door's stuck." Mist started to come all over the room.
"Naruto!" Yuya quickly ran to Naruto.
"We're going to die! We're going to freaking die!" Naruto panicked.
"Calm down, it's going to be fine. We're going to get out of this!" The mist completely covered the entire area as Naruto and Yuya were barely able to see each other.
"All the students were able to make three clones. Naruto only made one and it's pathetic, I can't pass him." Yuya and Naruto heard a voice.
"Who's that?" Yuya looked around.
"Iruka sensei…" Naruto muttered.
"Naruto, you do everything on your own. You don't even bother trying to work with your team." Another voice spoke.
"Kakashi sensei…" Naruto said.
"You promised me…and you failed…" A female voice was heard.
"Sakura…" Naruto called out.
"What could you possibly know about my pain? You were alone from the beginning so you don't know anything about losing family!" An irritated voice as heard.
"Sasuke…" Naruto trembled.
"Hey, what's going on with you?" Yuya heard Naruto mumbling. He then noticed four figures appearing from the mist.
"Sasuke…Sakura…Iruka sensei…Kakashi sensei…" Naruto reached out to them.
"Are they Naruto's friends and teachers?" Yuya looked at them.
"All this time…and you still haven't grown." Iruka looked disappointed.
"Wh-What?" Naruto was surprised to hear Iruka say that. "But Iruka sensei, you said I did grow. All of our ramen lunches you said that I got stronger."
"You got stronger but you failed to notice the cost." Kakashi said. "You were focusing on your dream that you didn't notice the pain you caused."
"Pain, I caused? What are you talking about, I didn't hurt anyone." Naruto argued.
"You made me doubt myself." Sakura spoke. "You made me feel useless and a burden to the team. I wanted to help but you didn't let me."
"You getting stronger was frustrating for me. I have a reason to get stronger, I wanted to avenge my family. How come you're stronger when you have a selfish dream? Do you even know what it means to be Hokage?" Sasuke questioned Naruto.
"You think you fight for others. But you only fight for yourself." Sakura said.
"That's not true, I want to keep our promise. I want Sasuke back just as much as you." Naruto argued.
"More excuses to hide your true feelings." Kakashi said. "Deep down, you want to prove that you're better than Sasuke. You don't really want to save him."
"That's not true…that's not true…" Naruto hugged himself.
"When will you finally grow up, Naruto? When will you finally take responsibility? Show respect? When will you finally be a real ninja?" Iruka asked.
"Hey, that's enough!" Yuya stood protectively in front of Naruto. "Naruto, you can't listen to them, this is probably a trap that was sprung when I took my Duel Disk. Those guys aren't really here."
"Aren't here?" Sasuke charged forward with a kunai.
"Whoa!" Yuya activated his Duel Disk and it blocked the kunai. "Wh-What is with this pressure?"
"Since you have the treasure, we'll settle this your way." Sasuke raised his arm and a Duel Disk appeared on his arm.
"A Duel Disk?" Yuya's eyes widened.
"Action Field: On! Field Magic: Valley of the End!" The mist transformed the area into a valley with two large statues facing each other. "Now then, shall we do this." Sasuke inserted a deck and his Duel Disk turned on.
"Please…I didn't mean to hurt you…" Naruto whimpered.
A deck materialized in Yuya's Duel Disk. "I got to end this quickly for Naruto." Yuya thought.
"Duel!" Yuya and Sasuke declared.

"I will go first." Sasuke took a card from his hand. "From my hand, I activate the Field Magic: Temple of the Brave Six!" A temple appeared behind Sasuke.
"Next, I activate two Continuous Magics! Six Warmen Unity! Gate of the Brave Six!" Two cards appeared on Sasuke's field.
"Next, I Normal Summon Tuner Monster, Shadow Six Warmen – Fuma (ATK: 200, LV: 1)! A warrior with a sword appeared. "Since I summoned a Six Warmen monster, my Temple of the Brave Six and Six Warmen Unity gains one Bushido Counter while Gate of the Brave Six gains 2 counters!"

Sasuke showed the last card in his hand. "When I Normal Summon or Special Summon a Shadow Six Warmen, I can Special Summon this monster from my hand! Appear! True Shadow of the Six Warmen (ATK: 500, LV: 4)!" Sasuke summoned another warrior, this time in red armor.
"And since I summoned another Six Warmen monster, my Magic Cards gain more counters!" Sasuke pointed to his cards.
Temple of the Brave Six (Counter: 1→2)
Six Warmen Unity (Counter: 1→2)
Gate of the Brave Six (Counter: 2→4)
"I activate Six Warmen Unity's effect! When this card has two counters, by sending this card to the Graveyard, I can draw two more cards from my deck!" Sasuke drew two cards.
"I'm Tuning my Level 4 True Shadow of the Six Warmen with my Level 1 Shadow Six Warmen – Fuma!" Fuma turned into a single green ring as True Shadow of the Six Warmen flew through it and became four stars.
"Warmen that is as swift as the wind and strikes like lightning, unsheathe your blade and bring death to those who oppose you! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 5! True Six Warmen – Shi En ATK: 2500, LV: 5)!" Appearing was a samurai in armor and had a sharp katana.
Temple of the Brave Six (Counter: 2→3)
Gate of the Brave Six (Counter: 4→6)
"I activate Gate of the Brave Six's effect! By removing four Bushido Counters, I can add a Level 4 or lower Six Warmen monster from my deck to my hand!" Sasuke added another Six Warmen to his hand.
Gate of the Brave Six (Counter: 6→2)
"I set one card and end my turn!" Sasuke finished his turn.

"Naruto said that Duel Monsters doesn't exist here, but this guy just performed a loop of combos on his very first turn. Whatever this trap is, it's strong." Yuya thought.
"My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card and looked at his hand and his eyes widened. "These cards…" Yuya closed his eyes. He knew these cards; they were the cards that he used before everything began for him. "You want to fight with me, even after I chose to seal you away?"
He felt no resentment, no hatred from the cards, only a desire to help him get back to where he belongs. "I won't turn my back on you all again." Suddenly some of the cards in his hand and deck glowed and the light formed a familiar pendant around his neck.
"From my hand, I activate the Field Magic: Sky Iris!" Yuya played a card.
"I won't let you! Shi En's effect activates! Once per turn, during either player's turn, when my opponent activates a Magic or Trap Card, I can negate that card's activation and destroy it!" Sasuke destroyed Yuya's Sky Iris. "There goes your chance to add your ace monster to your hand!"
"You should've waited to use that effect." Yuya said.
"What?" Sasuke questioned.
"Using the Scale 1 Entermate Monkeyboard and the Scale 10 Entermate Ignition Eagle, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya set his Pendulum Scale. "With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 2 to 9!"
"But first, I activate Entermate Monkeyboard's Pendulum Effect! Once per turn, I can add a Level 4 or lower Entermate monster from my deck to my hand!" Yuya added another card and his pendant glowed.
"Swing, Pendulum of my soul!" The giant pendulum appeared above him and swayed back and forth. "Draw an arc of light across the ether!" Yuya smile grew wider. "I'm back, baby! Pendulum Summon! Appear, my monster comrades!" Yuya raised his hand as the giant pendulum created a portal and three monsters came out.
"Entermate Odd-Eyes Light Phoenix (ATK: 2000, LV: 5, PS: 3)! Entermate U-Golem (ATK: 1600, LV: 4, PS: 1)! And Entermate Hammer Mammoth (ATK: 2600, LV: 6)" Yuya summoned a phoenix and a golem.
"Those monsters are weak! Especial with my Field Magic: Temple of the Brave Six's effect! All monsters on your field lose 100 Attack Points for every Bushido Counter on this card!" Sasuke pointed to the temple and both Entermate Monsters lost power.

Entermate U-Golem (ATK: 1600→1300)
Entermate Hammer Mammoth (ATK: 2600→2300)
"I activate Entermate U-Golem's effect! When this card is Pendulum Summoned, I can use this card and another monster on my field as materials for a Fusion Summon!" Yuya revealed. "I fuse Entermate Odd-Eyes Light Phoenix and U-Golem!" The two monsters entered the spiraling vortex.
"Phoenix with dichromatic eyes! Become one with the giant born from the earth and revive as a new species! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Entermate Odd-Eyes Metal Claw (ATK: 3000, LV: 8)!" Appearing from the vortex was a giant beast wearing Odd-Eyes armor and had sharp metal claws.
Entermate Odd-Eyes Metal Claw (ATK: 3000→2700)
"Tch…even with my card's effect, it's still stronger than my monster!" Sasuke cursed.
"Battle! Entermate Odd-Eyes Metal Claw, attack True Six Warmen – Shi En! At this moment, Odd-Eyes Metal Claw's effect increases his Attack Points by 300!" Both Metal Claw and Hammer Mammoth gain power.
Entermate Odd-Eyes Metal Claw (ATK: 2700→3000)
Entermate Hammer Mammoth (ATK: 2300→2600)
"Metal Slice!" Entermate Odd-Eyes Metal Claw charged in and with a single swing, not only sliced Shi En's sword in half, but also his body as well, destroying it and damaging Sasuke.
Sasuke LP: 4000→3500
"Now Hammer Mammoth! Direct Attack!" Hammer Mammoth stomped towards Sasuke before whacking him had with his hammer trunk and he crashed into Sakura, Kakashi and Iruka.
Sasuke LP: 3500→900
"Whoa…" Naruto was amazed by Yuya's move.
Yuya felt really rejuvenated and the beads changed color again from yellow to red, signifying that he reached a new level of strength.
However, even though the Duel wasn't over the four disappeared and the mist was cleared out. "Hey, you okay?" Yuya extended his hand to Naruto.
"Yeah…" Naruto took Yuya's hand.
"You sure, they said some really mean things to you." Yuya showed concern.
"I know they weren't really here; I knew it was some kind of trap, but…" Naruto looked down. "Part of me thinks what they said is true. I was so focused on my dream that I didn't even realize that I was hurting Sasuke and Sakura. I pushed Sasuke over the edge, which made him leave the village."
"Hey, you're being too hard on yourself. We all make mistakes. I've made a lot. But what's important is that we learn from them and try be better people." Yuya advised.
"Wow, I guess you are older than you look." Naruto smiled.
Suddenly, Yuya's Duel Disk started to glow. "Hey, why is that glowing?" Naruto questioned.
"This is not normal!" The Duel Disk then released a bright light that made Yuya and Naruto scream as they felt themselves getting sucked in and the light burst through the ceiling and into the sky.
Outside the Ruins
Jiraiya watched the light from the ruins in the distance. "Looks like he got it back, just as you predicted."
A young man in a black cloak walked up next to Jiraiya. "For everything that he has done back in his world, he deserves to live and reunite with his family. Unfortunately, how soon he will get to them will depend on a multitude of factors."
"And Naruto will have to figure things out on his own as well. But that kid will be okay. I have a good feeling about him." Jiraiya smiled.
"U-Urgh…" The young man winced in pain.
"Hey, you okay?" Jiraiya asked.
"I've had to scold Mavis for moving too soon. I had use some of my raw energy in order to rewind time in her world." The man panted.
"I thought you said she was a brilliant tactician?" Jiraiya questioned.
"She is, but she's also naïve. She believes that the bonds of her precious guild will be enough to overcome the Dark Phoenix. Just a single guild is not enough, we need to expand, show that differences are a good thing. To see the world not as it is, but as it should be." The man opened his arms.
"That's very philosophical of you." Jiraiya said. "Anyway, I'll get back to researching the Dark Phoenix as well as the Akatsuki."
"Wait, I need you to do something first for me." The young man stopped Jiraiya. "I need you to pass this to Gildarts." The young man gave an envelope.
"I can do that." Jiraiya took the note and walked away before stopping. "Everything is gonna work out kiddo. You and your dad will get home." Jiraiya disappeared.
The young man removed his hood to reveal a teenage Yusaku. "If our home is restored by then as well." He looked down at his Duel Disk and looked through the photos of his siblings as well as his mother and father.
He then looked at a map of five different worlds, they were labeled Domino City, Duel Academia, Neo Domino City, Heartland and Den City. "I'm counting on you all Dimension Guardians." He pulled out pictures of Katsuya Jonouchi, Asuka Tenjoin, Rua Godwin, Rio Kamishiro and Aoi Zaizen, but for some reason, Jonouchi, Asuka, Rua and Rio were now back to their younger versions of themselves just like Yuya. "Bring back the United World."
And that is the end of the first chapter of Multiverse Odyssey. How do you guys want me to do these stories. Focus on one do the other for later, switch stories every chapter, every other chapter?
