Ash - The Manalo Festival, which celebrates the solar eclipse every 21 years, is almost here! We all went to the Pokemon School as we always did but Prof. Kukui and the others were acting kinda weird. Meanwhile, Lusamine asked us, the Power Rangers Ultra Rescue, to head to the Altar of the Sunne and when we got there, after uncovering a mystery from Alola's ancient past, Lunala suddenly appeared from an Ultra Wormhole! But then, another Ultra Beast-Poipole's Guardian and the Blinding One-turned-Black Beast, Necrozma-emerged from the Ultra Wormhole after her, reawakened after being sealed away by King Doug and Queen Delilah over 500 years ago!

From above the heroes (as they all looked on and gasped in shock at what was going on), the situation had gone from bad to worse as Necrozma continued chasing after Lunala, the Moone Pokemon desperately trying to figure out how to shake him off her tail even though he was keeping pace with her, still wanting to steal her power badly.

"That's Necrozma - the Black Beast and the former Blinding One himself?" Ash breathed, stunned beyond belief.

"He appeared and chased after Lunala through that Ultra Wormhole. So, most likely, yeah," Burnet confirmed. "And, he must be the one responsible for what happened to the Ultra Aura; it appears he's also attempting to steal Lunala's Ultra Aura power, even now...!"

"Mom, Dad, Zossie, Dulse, know anything about Necrozma that we don't know, already?" Sarah asked her real parents and the Ultra Recon Squad members.

"Well, as far as we and the rest of the Ultra Recon Squad know, Necrozma, in his current form, is a Psychic Type and he specializes in his signature ability only he knows-Prism Armor-a powerful defense that reduces the damage he takes from Super-Effective Bug, Ghost, and Dark Type attacks by 25%!" Zossie informed.

"He also knows Metal Claw, Psycho Cut, and his signature attack-Prism Laser-a powerful, frightening attack should you get hit by it," added a grave Dulse.

"LUNALA! Stop it, Guardian! This isn't you, at all! You're only hurting!" begged Poipole to Necrozma but to no avail as Necrozma absorbed Lunala's Ultra Aura.

"Of course, those attacks are only the surface level of Necrozma's might and why he's as much of a threat as he is now," Doug continued.

Delilah nodded as she finished with a worried look on her face while watching Necrozma absorb Lunala's Ultra Aura, "If he continues to attack Lunala and he fuses with either her or Solgaleo should he appear as well, not only will he become either Dusk Mane or Dusk Wings Necrozma but he'll also absorb either or both of their Ultra Auras faster which could kill them in the process."

"WHAT/AH?!" the gang and Ash barked in horror before Necrozma soon spotted Nebby and Nebula with the entire group on the Altar.

"I, NEED, LIGHT!" Necrozma screamed as he found two more opportunities to recharge himself and swooped down towards the group, targeting Nebby and Nebula.

"Here he comes!"

"He's going for a power dive!"

"He's dive-bombing us!" the gang (Gladion and Ash included), Tou-Tou, and Sarah's Silvally screamed.

"RUN!"

"Take cover!"

"Take to the hills!" Blitz, Houndoom, and Audino cried as everybody dodged Necrozma's first attempt at catching Nebby and Nebula before coming at the pair again for a second attempt.

"NEBBY, NEBULA, LOOK OUT!" Sarah exclaimed to her grown-up Ultra Beast babies, allowing the pair to dodge Poipole's guardian again in the nick of time.

"Guardian! Stop, are you crazy?! That's the princess and her Pokemon you're trying to attack! Stop it! Don't do it! Please!" pleaded Poipole to her guardian only to be ignored once again.

"GIVE ME YOUR ULTRA BEASTS, HUMAN!" he roared to Sarah.

"Never! Their destiny is with me!" the little princess barked defiantly. "Mama, come on!" Nebby called, quickly putting Sarah on his back before he and Nebula joined Lunala and they took off with Necrozma going after them.

"Sarah, Nebby! Wait!"

"Nebula!" Lillie and Ash called, too late as they watched the trio run off with Lunala by their side.

"They're heading for Melemele Island!" Kiawe noticed, seeing their and Necrozma's flight path trajectory as they vanished in the distance.

Mallow gasped as Lana fretted, "Oh, no!"

"We have to protect all of them! Power Rangers Ultra Rescue, move out!" Lusamine ordered, recognizing the gravity of the situation before them.

"Yes, M'am!" the others agreed before they got back on their Ride Pokemon and the rest of Sarah's family got back in the carriage after hooking up Polar and Orpheus to it for Nebby left it behind in his, Sarah, and Nebula's haste to get away from Necrozma.

Dulse and Zossie joined them after climbing aboard Mist and Spark before they all chased after the Black Beast and his targets, hoping they were not too late to prevent a greater catastrophe. At the same time, while everybody departed, Lusamine, Burnet, Wicke, and Faba watched on and prepared to return to Melemele Island despite their lack of energy and sleep.

"We should probably go after them, too."

"I suppose so," Lusamine and Wicke said before they all groaned after a moment as they slumped down on the floor or while standing up, "What a hassle/Yeah..."

Lunala has suddenly appeared with the former Blinding One and Poipole's guardian, Necrozma, in hot pursuit of her, Nebby, Nebula, and Sarah. The question our heroes must now answer is, what will become of them and the Sun Princess?

(The new opening begins when we see legions of Pokemon trainers and their Pokemon training in a giant stadium and amongst them, Sarah, Ash, and the Pokemon School gang are training with their own Pokemon, preparing for the most important chapter of their lives before the trainers and their Pokemon stood at attention and the gang got into a group fighting pose as the song begins. They will eventually take part in the finalized Alola League to determine who is the top Pokemon trainer in the entire Alola region)

In the short instrumental, the gang takes part in battling at the Kantonian Gym in Malie City on Ula'Ula Island as short snippets of the gang getting themselves into scrapes throughout their misadventures are shown)

(Lana is then shown facing the toughest challenge of her life as she and Brionne come across a Kyogre and she has to do her utmost to tame it as she reels it in when its life is in danger. Sandy, Mallow's Shaymin, Sarah's Shaymin, the metal-like Pokemon, Breezeon, Sho, and Donka explore Malie City unsupervised after trying to recover a hair ornament before coming across Team Rocket again. Pikachu (and his entire team) and Blitz (with some of his brothers and sisters) go on an adventure to find Ash, Torracat, Sarah, and Silvally disappeared on them when the quartet traveled back in time and meet a younger Kukui as he starts out on his Pokemon journey that leads him to become a Pokemon Professor in studying Pokemon moves)

(Finally, snippets of the Ultra Rescue Rangers' final missions involving Evox with their and the Beast Morphers Rangers' final clashes with him and his followers, the return of Necrozma and their efforts to restore him as the Bright One, the gang all taking part in the Alola League including Sarah or Ash facing off against Guzma and learning how he became the trainer and punk he is now and why he was running away, and a final battle with either one facing off against Kukui and Tapu-Koko in a final full 6-on-6 Pokemon battle and a match for the ages in Alola are shown. The intro then ends with Sarah reviving Necrozma in his true form and standing with him along with Cresselia, Zygarde (10% Forme), Zacian, Zamazenta, Xerneas, Giratina, and Rayquaza while she turned into her Lion Form and roared proudly as the titles appeared above the group on the ground)

Pokemon Sun & Moon - The Warrior Princess

Back on Melemele Island, as was the case with everybody throughout the whole day, James and Jessie were still feeling tired and worn out as they lay about on their Masalada truck in the coolness of the nighttime breeze (they, Wobuffett, and Meowth having decided to spend the night on the beach should the eclipse happen earlier despite how slow and calm Masalada sales were being). The two of them sighed as they tried to sleep and it was grated Meowth to no end.

"WILL YOU KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE DUMB SIGHS?!" he snapped, annoyed.

"What's with you guys?!" sobbed Wobuffett, desperately wanting his friends to wake up.

"But, our selling skills have gone squat throughout today and yesterday..."

"Maybe, we should give up on this business and go back to our original routine..." Jessie and James moaned before Meowth and Wobuffett (who are now on their wits' end) heard Lunala's frantic roar from behind them.

"What was that?" Meowth pondered before he took out some binoculars and was amazed to see Lunala, Nebby, Nebula, and Sarah still being tailed by Necrozma which they and their human comrades didn't know why yet. "Whoa! The Legendary Moone Pokemon, Lunala! And, look, there's the Royal Twerpette herself with her own Lunala and Solgaleo-eh? Wow! That's not all; here, feast your eyes on this!"

He gave his partners the binoculars as they saw Necrozma but were still feeling drained and tiredly groaned, "My eyes are not feasting well, uh..."

"Maybe, it's one of those super rare Ultra Beasts or one of the famous Ultra Pillars."

"This is big bang bucks on our end! We've gotta give headquarters a honk and give them the lowdown!" Meowth suggested.

"You're right, buddy boy!" the Patient Pokemon agreed.

"RUN!" screamed Nebby, panicked as he saw Necrozma getting closer and closer to him, Lunala, Nebula, and his human mother. "Mama, he's gaining on us!"

"Why is that meanie after us? We didn't do anything to him and he's scaring Ms. Lunala!" cried a frightened Nebula.

"I think Necrozma's idea is to steal your Ultra Aura as well as Lunala's more easily by wearing us all down as he's playing 'Cat and Mouse' with us so he can return to his original form by force! Besides, he's run out of energy to become his original self as the Blinding One no thanks to Lothor, Team Eclipse, and Dulse and Zossie's stupid ancestors so how or why wouldn't he pull this off if he hadn't crossed over into our world as well?"

"Y-Y-You mean, he wants to drain us and take us back, t-t-to, be, d-d-d-dead? Eek!"

"Don't worry, Lunala! He hasn't got us yet, just put on full power just so we can shake him off somehow as we jet!"

Of course, the energy drain that caused many adults in Alola to become sluggish, tired, and exhausted wasn't limited to them alone; the effects of the Ultra Aura drain by Necrozma were now affecting Matori and her entire Matrix as soon as they arrived in Alola. The crew began to feel dizzy and tired while their Pokemon including Matori's Alolan Meowth were the only ones unaffected and it was causing them to cock up their progress in their mission to uncover the reason behind the disturbance. None of them knew what our heroes found out or deducted according to their current experience and findings so this time, they're the unfortunate ones who are left completely in the dark over the incident.

"Gozu, what's the meaning of this...?" Matori numbly asked her right hand, slumping on her captain's chair and feeling ready to fall asleep with Gozu and the others feeling the same.

"Of what...?" Gozu replied lazily.

"I feel so sluggish ever since we arrived in the Alola Region..."

"Me, too. It's nap time. Shall we go home...?"

"Will you knuckleheads listen to yourselves?!" Matori's Meowth snapped in annoyance and confusion just as Meowth, James, and Jessie called his team's matrix when their lower recruits caught wind of their presence.

"Matori! We got a problem and-Oy, vey! Look at you all, what's with the get-up? And, where are you guys, away?" Meowth questioned when he saw what had happened.

"Mmm, for me to know and you stooges to find out. ...What do you kids want?" Matori yawned.

"News flash and I think you're gonna love it! Lunala and some super rare black crystal Ultra Beast just showed up on Melemele Island! And, get this, the royal twerpette and her own Lunala and Solgaleo are being tailed by that Ultra Beast, too!"

"That's nice..."

"'That's nice'? Aren't you the least bit surprised about all this?"

"Gozu... Gozu!" Matori called to her right hand, managing to snap him awake despite his deprived condition albeit briefly.

"Set a course for Melemele Island full board..." Gozu ordered sluggishly.

"I'm bored..." A grunt replied in response.

"Hold up, you're not going to try and catch them?" Jessie asked her superior lazily.

"We will. After all, we're not Team Rocket's elite force-the Matori Matrix-the best of the best, for nothing..." Matori retorted, still in her sleepy condition.

"More story glow sticks...?"

"Ugh! I said, 'Matori Matrix', you muppet! Seriously..."

"That right...Mm?!" Apparently, when she finally heard that, Jessie was able to snap herself awake and give a full-blown retort, much to Meowth's surprise and delight when he heard and saw this. "Hey! Who do you think you are, you pint-sized battle agent?!"

"She can't hear you, you know," James reminded, still feeling sleepy.

"Grrrrr... That two-faced blockheaded glasses punk of a goon, she loves herself way too much to me! She won't last long once we take control!"

"Yahoo! Jessie's finally back to being her own miserable self!" But, Meowth spoke too soon; as soon as he said the word "miserable", that small but powerful reminder of the insult and her squad's failures coupled with the lack of Ultra Aura power made her slump back down to her lazy self from before.

"Miserable? Oh, I really don't need this..."

"Actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea..." James agreed, much to Meowth's chagrin.

"Hey, shut your yap, youse morons! We gotta get moving; if Matori gets those Lunala, that Solgaleo, the black Ultra Beast, and the princess, she'll be more stuck in the limelight than she is already! We'll be in the lowdown for the rest of our lives!" he snapped yet again.

"He's right, guys! Pitter-patter! Let's go!" Wobuffett agreed with his Pokemon comrade.

"He's not letting up!" Sarah screamed just as she, Lunala, Nebby, and Nebula returned to Melemele Island with Necrozma still hot on their heels as he tried to take them down and absorb more Ultra Aura from the three Alola Legendaries.

As their deadly game of "Cat and Mouse" with Necrozma continued, the citizens of Melemele close by (primarily, the children and Pokemon that were unaffected by the depletion of the Ultra Aura), were watching the chase taking place before their eyes (with some of the children enjoying the show but not realizing the danger behind it all). Amongst them, Melemele Kahuna Hala (who was still wide awake somehow in his current condition) and his Hariyama were watching the Black Beast attacking Sarah, her grown-up Ultra Beasts, and Lunala frantically dodging (or attacking out of self-defense in Sarah's case as she brought out her Beast-X Star Blaster in Blaster Mode and tried to blast Necrozma away from them) as best they could above Hau'Oli City. The two of them couldn't help but feel grave about the situation as they didn't know what to make of the scene before them but they knew something was terribly wrong.

"There was trouble in the air that begged me here but even in all my years as Melemele's Island Kahuna, I never would've imagined this," Hala breathed gravely despite his own sleepy condition as Hariyama agreed with his partner, "Indeed..."

"It would be terrible if a battle of such a scale eventually erupts into a total disaster..." Hala continued before Lunala, Sarah, Nebby, and Nebula flew over the pair and Necrozma flew towards him and Hariyama as well.

"Hala, look out!" Sarah warned as they passed by, her warning being followed by Tapu Koko who appeared in the nick of time and blocked the mad Ultra Beast with all the strength he can muster before he finally pushed him back.

"Necrozma... So, we finally meet again after all this time," Tapu Koko mused with a firm glare before he struck Necrozma with Dazzling Gleam.

Necrozma snarled in fury at one of the Tapu Island Guardians that fought against him in the Ultra Beast War and still looking as strong as ever after taking the Dazzling Gleam attack from him. But, he soon noticed Lunala, Nebby, and Nebula getting away from him thanks to Tapu-Koko's quick arrival (as Lunala shouted to the pair and the little princess, "This way!") and he growled furiously at his prey before going after them again.

"What is that?" a breathless yet stunned Hala asked Tapu Koko.

"An old threat from over 500 years ago our last king and queen of old once sealed away with a personal connection to Young Poipole of Ultra Space," Tapu Koko frowned grimly as they watched.

At the same time, Sarah's family and friends all finally returned to Melemele Island but they were too late as Necrozma was still chasing after Nebby (with Sarah still astride on his back while she tried to blast the Black Beast), Nebula, and Lunala.

"Look! Over there!" Poipole cried, pointing everybody towards the battle before them.

"There they are!"

"That scum!" Ash and Pikachu growled, seeing their friends and Lunala in a real bind with Necrozma continuing to chase and attack them.

"Lunala, Sarah!" Lillie called out to the Moone Pokemon and her best friend.

"Noivern, let's go!" Gladion urged to his Dragon/Flying Dual Type and he nodded as they pulled on ahead.

"Toothless!"

"Stryka, let's move!"

"Do it, Stormfly!" cried Hiccup, Zenna, and Astrid to their dragons as they joined Gladion and Noivern, their species' natural flying speed allowing them to go faster compared to Hookfang, Meatlug, and Barf and Belch.

"PSYCHO CUT!" Necrozma roared as he unleashed a Psycho Cut attack, the three Ultra Beasts having managed to dodge in time and forcing Sarah to morph just as Lunala and Nebula ultimately decided to fight.

"That's it, no more running!"

"You'll pay for what you did to Solgaleo! Moongiest Beam!" they boomed, Lunala then unleashing her signature attack.

However, Necrozma was cunning as well as intelligent as the Blinding One AND the Black Beast as he blocked Moongiest Beam and launched a second Psycho Cut, managing to hit Lunala and Nebula (both of them yelping from being hit) and force them back from the power of his attack (even if it isn't effective against them as per being Psychic Types).

"Lunala, Nebula!"

"Auntie!"

"No!" Ash, Mai, and Pikachu shouted just before both Moone Pokemon then flew in front of the full moon, using its power to unleash a Twin Moonblast attack that managed to hit him before they followed up with a Double Air Slash attack.

"I must say, you fight well for such a young Lunala and one raised by the princess no doubt, dear child!" Lunala commented to Nebula.

"You, too," Nebula replied to the older Lunala as they braced themselves for another assault by the Black Beast.

"Nice job!"

"Keep it up!" cheered Ash and Kiawe as Lunala and Nebula went after Necrozma along the ocean.

"Follow my lead!" called Lunala to Nebula, disappearing in a void of purple and red energy with Nebula following after her through the use of Phantom Force.

"Hey! What happened?!" Asha called from the carriage being pulled by Polar and Orpheus.

"They're gone, both of them!" gasped Gladion.

"Huh? Hey! Where did they go?" Necrozma growled as he looked around for the two Lunala before they appeared from behind him and smacked him with the edges of their wings. "GAAAHHH!"

"That was Phantom Force; Pokemon such as Nebula and Lunala are able to use it to teleport from one part of the battlefield to another and take their enemies by surprise! They got the drop on him with that one!" exclaimed Rotom-Dex excitedly.

"Lunala and Nebula sure aren't backing down since they have something worth fighting and living for!"

"What do you expect from Legendary Pokemon like them, especially since Nebula's been cared for by Sarah since she was given to her last year in Galar?" Mallow and Sophocles beamed.

Necrozma was not down and out yet as Lunala then attempted another Phantom Force attack, going solo on her next attempt while Nebby and Nebula charged at him for a frontal assault and with Sarah now aiming her Beast-X Star Blaster straight at him and firing with no hesitation.

"Urgh, lucky shot, you rainbow bats! But, unlike last time, I won't fall for that trick again!" Necrozma seethed as he readied his Psycho Cut attack and struck once they were within range, coming at Lunala from behind and launching a second Psycho Cut immediately after that sent all four of them into the ocean.

"Sweetie, Lunala! Nebby, Nebula!"

"No!" Delilah and Doug screamed in horror.

"MAMA!" cried Petunia, Aster, and Warner, stricken with panic as they watched from the carriage windows.

"Oh no, you don't!" barked Ash with fury as he eyed Gladion knowingly. "Gladion!"

"Okay!" nodded Gladion as they both charged forward with Garchomp and Noivern getting them and Pikachu as close as they can get to intervene.

"Ash, Gladion!" Lillie gasped, quickly chasing after them to stop them before they'd do something reckless that could get them killed.

"Garchomp, use Dragon Pulse!"

"Noivern, use your Boomburst!" the two trainers bellowed, allowing their Ride Pokemon to attack Necrozma with their attacks drawing his attention but not doing any damage to him which caused the battered yet unharmed Lunala, Sarah, Nebula, and Nebby to look up at the gang and the princess' family facing their greatest foe yet.

"No! Ash, Gladion, all of you, get back!" screamed Sarah frantically, desperately not wanting them to interfere and get themselves killed trying to save her, her Ultra Beasts, and Lunala.

"You fools! You'll be the first before those Ultra Beasts I fought to feel my wrath! PRISMATIC LASER!" Necrozma roared, unleashing his greatest attack as his multiple beams struck the entire group, one of them successfully hitting Lillie's Altaria and causing her rider to fall off her saddle.

"LILLIE!" Sarah, Gladion, and Ash screamed in horror, seeing Lillie scream as she fell to her death only to be caught by Lunala just in time before she could hit the ocean, the older Moone Pokemon having quickly recovered to save her.

"Oh, Lunala, thank you!"

"It's alright, child. But, it's too dangerous for you all to stay! Get back on your Ride Pokemon and stay with your friends, now!" Lunala screeched in a motherly tone as Ash, Gladion, Noivern, and Lillie's Altaria managed to reunite with the pair.

"Lillie!"

"Are you okay?" Ash and Gladion called, getting a nod from Lillie as Lunala brought her back to her Altaria who was thankfully not too badly hurt from Necrozma's Prismatic Laser.

"Altaria, are you alright?" Lillie asked her Ride Pokemon.

"I'm alright, no need to worry," smiled the larger Humming Pokemon.

"Oh, Lillie..." sighed Sarah, exasperated yet relieved to see her best friend unharmed even if she felt like fainting from the shock she felt from seeing her reaching death's door again as she fell.

"Lunala, thank you so much!"

"You're the greatest!"

"I'll never thank you enough for saving my caretaker's friend!" Ash, Pikachu, and Poipole thanked the Moone Pokemon gratefully as they eyed Lunala.

"I offer you my gratitude as well!" agreed Gladion in gratitude for his sister's savior, Lunala staring at them with contentment before she looked ahead and gasped as Necrozma was heading straight for the entire group, "Watch out!"

"INSOLENT CHILDREN!" Necrozma roared in absolute fury, now determined to plow through Sarah's friends and family to get to Lunala, Sarah, Nebula, and Nebby if it meant getting rid of any nuisances preventing him from achieving his dark goals.

"He's coming on the attack again!" shouted Dulse.

"Guys, get out of the way and run for your lives or you'll be crushed!" Zossie screamed, fear and worry overwhelming her as she, Dulse, and Sarah's family watched from afar but unable to help given the danger.

"What are you talking about? How much more fun can this get?!"

"Yeah, you can't get this much excitement out of Berk back then!" Tuffnut and Ruffnut declared, reveling in their Viking pride as usual.

"Not until we get Sarah, Lunala, Nebby, and Nebula out of danger! Charizard, Flamethrower! Quick!" Kiawe retorted determinedly, fighting back against his fears as Charizard unleashed his most powerful attack on the Black Beast.

"Flygon, use Fire Blast!"

"Right!"

"Metang, use Flash Cannon!"

"Coming right up!"

"Dragonair, use Ice Beam!"

"You got it, Lana!" Mallow, Lana, and Sophocles ordered, their Ride Pokemon agreeing to attack and use their strongest moves one by one and in a combo.

"Blast Beam Cannon, let's go!"

"HYAH/ATTACK/HAAA!"

Their attacks managed to hit Necrozma and do some damage but it was still not enough to subdue or beat him as he tanked each and every last attack, breaking from his ice prison from Dragonair's Ice Beam before he was faced by the Viking Teens and their dragons as they prepared to go at him this time.

"Toothless/Stryka, plasma burst!"

"Hookfang, fire!"

"Stormfly, use your Spine Shot!"

"Alright, Meatlug! Lava Blast, let's go!"

"Barf/Belch, let 'im have it!" the Viking Teens called to their dragons, having them use their strongest attacks at Necrozma only for the Black Beast to tank the attacks and unleash another powerful Psycho Cut but this time, onto the group as well.

"Watch out!" screamed Hiccup as they barely managed to dodge the attack as they broke formation.

"Don't you meddling kids UNDERESTIMATE ME!" Necrozma roared once more as he unleashed Prismatic Laser a second time at the heroes, Ash, Mallow, Lana, Sophocles, Lillie, and Kiawe along with Pikachu, Poipole, Rotom-Dex, and their Ride Pokemon barely managing to dodge as well for their lives.

"Prismatic Laser is too dangerous and we can't get close to Sarah, Nebby, Nebula, and Lunala! Retreat, for now!" Kiawe warned Ash frantically.

"I got it!" Ash agreed, now realizing the danger Necrozma posed to everyone gathered including their team leader and the three Ultra Beasts in trouble just as Poipole looked back at Necrozma and saw something on his back that she instantly recognized.

"Wait a minute! Ash, look! On my guardian's back!" she gasped as she pointed Ash, Pikachu, and Rotom-Dex to what she saw on Necrozma.

"Poipole, what is it?"

"What's up?" the Kanto duo puzzled the little royal Ultra Beast.

"Over there, on my guardian! From his back!"

Poipole was referring to the symbol or crest that she drew the previous day on Necrozma's back which was actually his signature insignia, something that Rotom-Dex gasped in surprise and shock as he also recognized the symbol and thought back to Poipole's painting on the sand.

"Ash, look! Are you seeing what I'm seeing? The symbol on Necrozma's back is the exact same one Poipole drew yesterday, it's his personal insignia and it's the same insignia we saw on the mural showing the people of Ancient Alola worshiping him, Lunala, Solgaleo, and their light inside the ruins behind the Altar of the Sunne!" he cried as he quickly documented and took photos of Necrozma and his insignia.

"Hey, you're right!" Ash blinked in realization.

"If that insignia of Necrozma's is the same one that we found on the mural inside the ruins, it confirms, without a doubt, that Necrozma IS the Blinding One who's lost all of his light over 500 years ago! Which meant that the Blinding One from the legend and the Black Beast we see today and we know of back then are truly one and the same!"

"Now, it's just you and me!" Necrozma snarled at Lunala, latching onto and capturing the older Moone Pokemon as she was on the sea yet held firm as best she could after being hit by his Prismatic Laser from earlier before he started to drain her of her Ultra Aura again.

"Lunala, no!" Sarah gasped as she recovered before summoning her father's sword and braced herself.

"NOOOOOO!"

"STOP IT!" Nebby and Nebula screeched in horror and shock before they and Sarah charged at Necrozma from their vantage point to try and attack him and save Lunala.

"What's Necrozma doing to Lunala?" Lillie asked, her fears for Lunala growing as everybody watched helplessly.

"He's finally weakened and beaten Lunala to the point of exhaustion and pain when she would be vulnerable enough for him to absorb all of her Ultra Aura directly!" Rotom-Dex freaked out, shocking everybody within hearing range and becoming more panicked as he saw what was happening to Lunala next. "That's not all! Could it be-HE'S ALSO TRYING TO ABSORB LUNALA, TOO!"

"It's like what happened with my father!" Lillie breathed in total horror, witnessing a repeat of her and her family losing Mohn years ago.

"Ash, kids! Are you alright?" Dulse shouted as he, Zossie, Mist, and Spark joined the group after witnessing what was becoming of Lunala.

"Dulse, Zossie!" Ash gasped, seeing the Ultra Recon Squad members joining the group.

"Lunala being absorbed herself is not exactly the case, Rotom! It's more like Necrozma is trying to fuse himself with Lunala so as to speed up his absorbing her Ultra Aura faster to the brink of death!" Zossie clarified, feeling grim as the pair watched what was unfolding before them. "If he latches more of himself onto her and continues absorbing her Ultra Aura at this rate, he'll become Dusk Wings Necrozma and he'll target all of us again with the princess and her Ultra Beasts being the first to go!"

Everybody gasped again as an enraged and horrified Gladion took the initiative to attack Necrozma again and he and Noivern charged once more, "I won't let you!"

"Gladion!" Ash cried as he and Lillie quickly followed.

"Gladion, Ash, Lillie, get out of there!" Dulse barked angrily, now filled with overwhelming worry and fear for everybody's safety including Ash, Lillie, and Gladion's wellbeing.

"Noivern, use Boomburst again! Full power!"

Noivern used Boomburst as hard as he can to hit Necrozma and make him let go of Lunala but he didn't flinch from the blast, forcing him and Gladion to follow up with, "Now, use Bite! Go!"

The Sound Wave Pokemon bit down on the Black Beast's left arm as hard as he could but his strength paled compared to Necrozma kept his grip on the beaten and weakened Moone Pokemon despite his and Gladion's best efforts as the Lycanroc trainer demanded, "Get away from Lunala!"

Necrozma didn't care for his enemies now that he got what he wanted so he just dealt a hard left backhand to Gladion and Noivern, knocking them back and also knocking Gladion off of Noivern's saddle just as he did with Lillie and her Altaria.

"Gladion!" cried Lillie before Ash managed to save Gladion as he caught him and Noivern straightened himself up.

"You okay?" Ash asked worriedly.

"Of course, thanks!" smiled Gladion, grateful for the save.

"Uncle Gladion!"

"Mr. Gladion!" Nebby and Nebula screamed in shock, seeing Gladion attacked before he was saved by Ash at the last minute.

"Gladion!" Sarah gasped before she then stared at Necrozma with unbridled rage as she roared at the Black Beast, "THAT'S IT! YOU'LL REGRET EVER COMING BACK TO ALOLA AS YOU ARE NOW!"

Then, with her family's Sun Sword at hand and riding atop her first baby Ultra Beast like a knight in shining armor, she, Nebby, and Nebula charged at Necrozma in full fury as they screamed with rage with the intention of beating him to a pulp and avenging Lunala. But, the Black Beast noticed them coming as he charged forward with Metal Claw, forcing Winter and Shadow to jump in with a barrage of plasma blasts but he tanked the blasts and knocked them out of the way, just as Sarah stood on top of Nebby and then jumped forward off of him to meet the Black Beast. Letting out a primal scream as she flew towards her target, she reared back with the Sun Sword and swung it down at him, the sword's blade clashing with Necrozma's Metal Claw.

"Necrozma! I never thought you could end up being a savage beast after your light was taken from you! But, if putting an end to you would not only help us figure out how to restore your light and avenge Lunala, I'll willing to do what I must to destroy you! But still, I don't want to have to kill you knowing there's still a chance we can save you without having you steal Lunala, Nebby, and Nebula's Ultra Aura! Give up and open your heart and allow us to help you!" Sarah snarled as they found themselves in a deadlock, the energy from Metal Claw and the Sun Sword clashing causing the heirloom and the attack to spark violently and dangerously as they pushed at each other.

"I'll never submit to the likes of you, human! I'm too close to restoring my light with the Ultra Aura I crave so much from Lunala and your Ultra Beasts! None of you stand a chance against my power! Only the fittest survive in this world in the end as long as they obtain that light no matter the cost including me; if you're strong, you live and that light will be yours, if you're weak, you die and your light will die with you as well! AND, I'M THE ONE WHO DESERVES MY PRIZE!"

Necrozma then pushed forward with his Metal Claw and he finally managed to break through the Sun Sword, shattering it at the mid-point and cleaving it in two, shocking and horrifying Sarah as he finally struck her and sent her on a crash-landing at the beach down below from the force of the attack. Everybody watched in horror as Sarah was defeated by the Black Beast as she landed on the beach and demorphed moments after just as the two pieces of her family's sword landed beside her from her left.

"AHHHHH/NOOOO!"

"PRINCESS!"

"SARAH!"

"BABY!"

"DAUGHTER!"

"Sis!"

"Lil' Britches!"

"Baby girl!"

"Nooooo!" the gang, Dulse and Zossie, Lillie, Delilah, Doug, Asha, Johnathan, Diane, and Tsukumaro screamed in horror before the princess' entire family immediately rushed to her aid.

The others and Lillie were horrorstruck as they remained where they are and Necrozma scoffed before he went back to Lunala and continued with his absorbing her Ultra Aura. Sarah was out cold by the hit and there was no sign of life within her at the moment with the rough landing she had by the time her family reached her, all of them desperate and worried over the possibility that she might've died after taking a powerful Metal Claw directly.

"Sweetheart!" Delilah cried as she held her unconscious and badly-wounded daughter.

"Mama! MAMA!" Nebby screamed, tears falling from his eyes.

"It's us! Can you hear us, Ponchita?" James fretted.

"Master, are you alright?!" cried Wang Lun.

"Can you hear us? Please, Sarah! We're here!" Winter warbled fearfully.

"She's hardly breathing!" Keldeo gasped as Audino and Shaymin quickly tried to use Heal Bell and Aromatherapy to heal her wounds even though they were much worse and deadlier compared to what she went through many times before despite all her powers protecting her.

"Talk to us, Sarah! Please!" Shadow begged tearfully.

"Hold it! What about the sword?" Guardeon gasped in reminder, Zorro noticing the Sun Sword and carefully picking up the pieces before gasping in horror as he looked at them and saw the top end of the blade cracking and finally breaking apart into tiny pieces.

He was also stunned and horrified to see the cut on the midpoint slightly crack at around a tiny quarter and break apart as well, leaving only the handle, the pommel, its tassel, the hilt, and a stub of its blade akin to how Link's Master Sword initially looked like in the prologue to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The rest of the group noticed this and were horrified to see what now remained of the Last Alolan Royal Family's Sun Sword, none of them holding back their fear and worry over how Necrozma could've destroyed it so easily despite Sarah's best efforts to attack and subdue the Black Beast even with her strength.

Doug and Delilah were devastated by this as Zorro handed the former the remains of his family's first heirloom, feeling as though a part of themselves and their family, despite the sword being nothing but a tool, was lost until a miracle can be held. But, there was no time to worry about the worst that can happen because Lillie noticed something horrifying that shook her even more to the core.

"Look! Over there, Lunala!" she cried to everybody, pointing towards Necrozma and Lunala as the latter let out a pained scream from her screech.

"Lunala!"

"Oh, no!" Zossie and Dulse screamed in horror, seeing Necrozma separating several parts of himself safe for his prism eyes and latching them including his torso, head, and other parts onto the drained Lunala by her wings, head, and attaching his tail and arms to her body as well.

This also included the triangular helmet that contained his Brain Prism as it went over her face, revealing what looked to be glowing pink lights, and his arms extended from the center of her chest. The armor surrounding her body also had two large spikes jutting out from around her shoulders along with four pink lights in the center. What's worse, on her lower back now are two thin antennae-like growths sprouting downward and a structure akin to Necrozma's tail extended from the center of her back and eleven crystalline spikes are attached around her captured body, four on both wings each with three sported on her tail.

"The light of Lunala is mine! And now, Alola, fear the might of DUSK WINGS NECROZMA!" Necrozma bellowed once the merge was complete.

"Dusk Wings Necrozma..."

"He did it..." breathed the horrified Ultra Recon Squad members.

"No way!"

"Lunala, no!" Pikachu and Ash bellowed, horrorstruck.

"NO! Lunala!" Poipole gasped.

"Necrozma, what has he done?" Lillie questioned, stricken with horror at the sight of Dusk Wings Necrozma.

"He's absorbed Lunala's Ultra Aura dry and merged with her!" Gladion fretted.

Suddenly, before everybody could continue to process this terrible turn of events, Dusk Wings Necrozma found himself ensnared in an electromagnetic net.

"Hey, look!"

"What's going on?!"

"What is that thing?" Hiccup, Lana, and Mallow cried in alarm.

"An electromagnetic net, somebody's planning to capture Necrozma and Lunala in their current form!" Rotom-Dex gawked in shock.

"Capture Necrozma?!"

"But, who would do that?" Fishlegs and Astrid gasped.

"And, where did the net come from?" Mallow added

. "Ah! I think I know, look!" Sophocles replied, pointing the group towards the Team Rocket airship belonging to the Matori Matrix as it unveiled itself.

"It can't be! Is that ship using optimal camouflage?" Gladion cursed.

"Guess Team Rocket's been looking up on the Ultra Pillars and eventually uncovered the legend surrounding Necrozma and his relentless power," Kiawe grumbled.

"It's definitely them, no doubt about it! Trying to catch Lunala and Necrozma while our backs are turned and when we aren't looking," Ash snarled.

"Open the hatch," Matori yawned despite the supposed success of her matrix's capture.

"You heard her. Open the hatch, you worms," Gozu echoed, still feeling exhausted.

"Ugh, such a pain," the matrix grunts groaned but complied as the hatch in their airship opened and they began to reel in Dusk Wings Necrozma.

"They're trying to take him away!" Kiawe exclaimed.

"We can't let those crooks do this! If they steal Necrozma while he's fused with Lunala and before we free her, we'll never restore life to Ultra Space!" Zossie realized.

"They're not getting away! Garchomp, let's go!" Ash shouted, he, Garchomp, and Pikachu charging towards the captured fused Black Beast.

But, Dusk Wings Necrozma instantly broke free from the trap, sending a part of it flying towards Ash and his Pokemon. The three of them gasped as they saw part of the broken net heading their way but in the nick of time, another Ultra Wormhole opened before...

Solgaleo roared as he reappeared, fully recovered from the blow from Prismatic Laser and shielding the Kanto trainer, Pikachu, and Garchomp from the piece of Team Rocket's net before he simply replied at Dusk Wings Necrozma and Team Rocket, "Not impressed."

"Dulse, look!"

"Is that-?" gasped Dulse and Zossie in amazement and shock at Lunala's counterpart arriving in the heroes' world.

Solgaleo shook off the net and turned to face one of the few people he and Lunala entrusted Nebby with in addition to Sarah, "Ash..."

"Solgaleo, it's you..." Ash breathed before he gave a soft smile in thanks. "I sure missed you."

"We all did!" smiled Pikachu brightly.

The older Sunne Pokemon nodded as he turned back to see what had become of Lunala and Necrozma, steeling himself for the fight of his life to save his counterpart from certain death and bolted after Dusk Wings Necrozma.

"Solgaleo, wait!" Ash called in futility.

"FOOL! I THOUGHT I DESTROYED YOU!" Dusk Wings Necrozma roared furiously as he fired Psycho Cut with Solgaleo dodging the attack and retaliating with Sunsteel Strike after using Cosmic Power to boost his Sp. Defense and Defense as he bashed Dusk Wings Necrozma and fired Flash Cannon.

Dusk Wings Necrozma countered with Prismatic Laser in response and the two blasts collided with each other, ending up in a stalemate before Prismatic Laser immediately cut through Flash Cannon and struck him.

"Hang on, Solgaleo!"

"You can do it!"

"Don't give up!"

"We believe in you, big guy!" Mallow, Lana, Sophocles, and Rotom-Dex cheered.

"Solgaleo, be careful!" Zossie shouted encouragingly.

"Hang in there," prayed Dulse.

Down below, hearing Solgaleo's roars, Sarah's family turned their attention to the solar half of Nebby's creators emerging from another Ultra Wormhole and in good health again and attacking Dusk Wings Necrozma as best he could to try and free Lunala from his grasp.

"Alright," breathed an awestruck David.

"Creator," gasped Nebby.

Eternatus was left in stunned and horrified silence to see the first-ever human who opened her heart to him left in a devastating state because of the Black Beast until he felt his own unbridled rage and hatred for Necrozma brewing and eyed the monstrous Ultra Beast with absolute contempt.

"He'll pay for ruining my pipsqueak," he seethed quietly before he charged at the Black Beast and let out a war cry.

Also not wanting the possible demise of the little princess to go unpunished, Reshiram joined the Gigantic Pokemon to give Necrozma a piece of his mind, Nebby and Nebula joining him after as they nodded in agreement to avenge their fallen mother and protect the former's creators.

"Eternatus!"

"Reshiram!"

"Nebby, Nebula, wait!" Doug, Terrakion, and Skystorm shouted but to no avail.

It was no use because Race (now devastated and filled with hatred for Necrozma as well) got onboard Falcon after morphing back into the Pyroar Ranger and they, along with Altaria, the Lake Guardians, Naguara, Gryphincent, Ghost (Dragapult), Amber, Kaji, Latios, Latias, Kit, Ella, Thunderailer, Calculator, Talon, and Varokuna joined them to get their revenge for Sarah's possible death.

From there, joining Solgaleo in the most fearsome battle Alola has ever seen, it was all mayhem on all sides as a brawl akin to the final fight in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice kicked off.

Still in its Dawn Wings form, Necrozma fired Prismatic Laser at the group with Reshiram and Eternatus countering with Blue Flare and Eternabeam to shield their group and cancel the powerful attack while Thunderailer, Kaji, and Amber looped under until they're above him as Latios, Kit, Ella, and Latias bashed him, allowing the trio to smack their powerful enemy into the ocean.

Nagurara went into a power dive tackle but Necrozma dodged as he recovered and took notice of her diving at him only for Falcon (whom Race had Mega-Evolved along with Kit, Ella, and Calculator) to use a hard Wing Attack on him.

Necrozma then used Psycho Cut again as he targeted Falcon and Race but the Mega Pidgeot dodged and Race brought out his Pyroar Blaster in Gatling Mode and fired back. Then, after being hit by Solgaleo's Flash Cannon, Nebby tried to use Sunsteel Strike but he was grabbed by his tail and thrown into Nebula as she tried to charge him before they were punched back a short distance before the fused Ultra Beast took another hit from Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie when they used a combined Psychic Attack along with a Shadow Ball by Ghost (Dragapult) and Talon's Power-Up Punch before the Lake Guardians used Protect on themselves, Ghost (Dragapult), and Talon to shield them from a Psycho Cut barrage.

Everybody from the ground and in the air watched as the 21 Pokemon and Race all fought their hardest to not only free Lunala but also to subdue and break Necrozma so as to get revenge for Sarah's loss and supposed death. But, even with all of them outnumbering the Prism Pokemon and with all their strength and prowess, the monstrous Ultra Beast behemoth of the Light Trio was relentless in its own assault against them, tanking several hits even though others did him some damage, parrying and blocking their blows before retaliating with his own, dodging with incredible speed, it seemed as though the attackers were fighting against a brick wall that refused to go down while they're a persistent army of small living battering rams.

"You and your meddling posse won't stop me from achieving my destiny, Solgaleo!" Necrozma snarled as he and Solgaleo faced each other again as everybody else that was fighting the menace was starting to reach their limit after the battering they got from him.

"I'm prepared to face you again a second time after you took Lunala and I by surprise, Necrozma! My darling will soon be free from your treachery and we'll see how long you'll last without using her as a hostage!" the older Sunne Pokemon spat back as he braced himself for another round.

"And, me too! You'll pay for what you did to Mama!" Nebby roared as he joined the male solar half of his creators and glared daggers at Necrozma.

"One Solgaleo, two Solgaleo, or ten, I'll destroy them all to reclaim my light if I have to!"

"I wouldn't bet on it, Necrozma! Your time has come!"

"Creator, I can do it!" Nebby shouted as he and Solgaleo prepared to use Sunsteel Strike. "Within hearts of darkness are hearts of light..."

"I will kill you all, YOU LITTLE BRAT!" Necrozma roared as he charged forward in a frontal assault to bash Solgaleo and Nebby to oblivion.

"Let my Sunsteel Strike shine a ray of hope on the future of the world!" Nebby finished as he charged forward first.

"Nebby!" Solgaleo shouted as he went after him to try and dissuade the younger Sunne Pokemon from attacking and sacrificing himself to avenge his human mother and his family.

"Creator, I got this!"

"Stand back, Nebby! It's alright, I'll do it!"

"Let me!" they bantered as they eventually decided to attack him together and charged at full speed, eventually managing to hit their target with the force of the hit dislodged Necrozma off of Lunala, his body parts scattered as they came off of her from the impact.

"Alright!" Ash cheered.

"Awesome!" Pikachu cried excitedly.

"They did it!"

"Nebby and Solgaleo defeated Necrozma!" Mist and Spark warbled happily.

"But, Lunala...!" breathed Lillie worriedly, seeing the downed Moone Pokemon fall onto the beach below them.

"What happened to Necrozma?" Gladion questioned, looking around for Necrozma until Kiawe and Sophocles found his body parts splashing down into the ocean.

"He fell down in pieces!"

"Now, he's in the ocean!" they noted as Solgaleo and Nebby went to Lunala and Nebula joined the pair to check on her.

"Lunala... It's me! Solgaleo! Can you hear me? Lunala!" Solgaleo purred worriedly, trying to nudge his counterpart and best friend awake as Nebby and Nebula watched.

"Mmm..." Lunala groaned weakly, completely worn out from Necrozma draining her energy and his hold on her but still alive.

But, whatever relief Solgaleo, Nebby, and Nebula along with everybody else watching the whole thing and the reunion felt was short-lived because the three Ultra Beasts still standing were soon struck by lasers from the Matori Matrix's airship, Giovanni's top agent and Team Rocket secretary and her team now edging to capture them and Lunala since they lost their chance at also capturing Necrozma for their own gain.

"It's that aircraft again!"

"Yeah, what's up with them?" Gladion and Ash snarled, aggravated by Team Rocket's antics.

"Those idiots! Don't they know what Solgaleo, Lunala, the princess' Ultra Beasts, and Necrozma are truly capable of?" groaned Zossie once she and Dulse caught sight of the aircraft belonging to the Matori Matrix.

"I'm more worried about how they'll take in Necrozma's power should he be back up for another fight and sees them in his way," Dulse replied, unconcerned about Team Rocket's fate should they interfere more.

"Do not goof up this time," Matori grumbled, still tuckered out but disappointed in her team's previous failure.

"Aye-aye, raise the electromagnetic net's power as far as it will go," Gozu muttered to the crew, still feeling sleep-deprived.

"Sir, you're asking for some serious damage-"

"Whatever, do it..."

"Ugh, aye, sir..." With that, the Matori Matrix proceeded to capture the four Ultra Beasts with their electromagnetic net but they only managed to capture Solgaleo and Lunala as the older Sunne Pokemon managed to push back Nebby and Nebula before they could be ensnared and captured as well.

"Stop it, now!" screamed Lillie to Team Rocket, only to have her cries ignored.

"Silvally/Pikachu, use-!" Gladion and Ash shouted to their partners only to stop when Eternatus suddenly dashed forward and cut the net, thus releasing Solgaleo and Lunala from the Matori Matrix's hold.

"No, you don't! My pipsqueak's babies and her first kid's creators are off-limits to the likes of you rocket creches! HAAAAAH!" he barked as he faced the Matori Matrix and fired Draco Meteor which struck the airship after the meteor dispersed into smaller meteors, dealing some major damage to their ship although (apart from Matori's Alolan Meowth), they were still too tired to actually react to this setback.

"Ugh, retreat...!" Matori ordered, exhausted as she aborted the mission.

"Retreating now," a grunt nodded, the Matori Matrix's airship moving away for another time just as Necrozma reemerged from the sea and was now hopping mad for losing Lunala and for being humiliated by Solgaleo and Nebby.

"Oh no, look!" gasped Kiawe, horrified as Necrozma eyed the two Sunne Pokemon with growing fury with Solgaleo preparing to fight again.

"You just don't seem to learn, do you, Necrozma?" scoffed Solgaleo, bracing himself for another battle.

"Grrrgh! Solgaleo, I'll make sure you and the kid will pay for this, if it's the last thing, I EVER DO! RRRAAAAGGGGHHHH!" Necrozma bellowed as he charged at Solgaleo who readied himself until Nebby shot forward once he saw what was about to happen and gasped.

"LOOK OUT!" he screamed to Solgaleo, shoving his male solar creator out of the way and having Necrozma grab him instead, everybody gathered watching on in renewed horror while Nebby held firm as he glared daggers at Necrozma. "I won't let you hurt anyone ever again!"

"Are you sure, kid? You know what'll happen if you choose to defy me in Solgaleo's place! If I destroy you, Alola will lose one Ultra Beast, and your 'Mama' will lose you forever! Can you live with that?!" Necrozma sneered in his face.

"I don't care, as long as you can still be saved and you can't cause any more trouble for Mama, my friends, and my family!" Nebby huffed.

"NEBBY!"

"NO!"

"You can't!"

"Wait!" Ash, Lillie, Pikachu, and Poipole cried in fear for Nebby.

"I have to do this! It's the only way to save you all, Mama, and my creators!" Nebby replied, not backing down and sticking to his resolve to save Sarah and his creators as well as his family, friends, and home no matter what as he used Flash Cannon and dealt a major blow to Necrozma even if he didn't let go.

"NO! Nebby, stop!" Gladion shouted fearfully as Necrozma then started punching him although he remained resolute.

"Nebby!"

"Nebby, honey! Please! Get back! It's not worth it!" Doug and Delilah shouted.

"Get back!"

"Kid, wait!" Tsukumaro and Terrakion boomed.

"Don't do it!"

"Get going!"

"Run!"

"Now!"

"Please!" Blitz, Tai Lung, Suicune, Tyson, and Curly all begged.

The others and the rest of Sarah's family were horrified still and they didn't know how to respond while Nebula was screaming frantically and in tears as she begged for Nebby to get back and save himself and for Necrozma to spare him and not merge with him just as he did with Lunala. Solgaleo (reuniting with Lunala and tending to her) was stunned and shocked that the child he and Lunala created had saved him and was ready to risk his own life for the safety of everyone else's and the salvation of his human mother even if it meant submitting himself to the Black Beast's power and merging with him while having his own Ultra Aura drained away.

"Nebby..." he breathed in silent horror as Nebby retaliated against the punches thrown at him with Flamethrower.

"GET OUTTA THERE!" Eternatus roared frantically, unable to stomach what could be Nebby's ultimate sacrifice.

"But, I gotta save you guys and Mama! I know you'll all find a way to save Necrozma and I, especially Mama! I've always been proud of you all and I'm happy that I got to live a wonderful life with you! This is for the best! I have to do this for you all AND Mama!"

"Nebby, no!"

"NEBBY!"

"Please!"

"NOOOO!" Mallow, Sophocles, Lana, and Kiawe screamed, not wanting to see what happens next.

"NEEEEEEBBBBBYYYYYY!" Rotom-Dex squealed in outright panic as he flailed about.

"PLEEEEAAASSSEEEEE!" wailed a frightened Poipole to Nebby as she also flailed about in terror.

"Come and get me, Mr. Crozy!" Nebby taunted Necrozma as defiantly and determinedly as he could, ready to accept his fate until they can be saved.

Necrozma was surprised by how defiant and determined Nebby still was against him even after taking the beating from him as he did but he then chuckled in amusement as he told him darkly, "As you wish, don't blame me if this is the end for you..."

Nothing else can be done on the heroes' part as they watched Necrozma absorb Nebby, the little grown-up Solgaleo screaming in pain and determination as through him, the Black Beast now became Dusk Mane Necrozma who had his old armor around his paws, head, and sides with Necrozma's tail separated into two parts and attached to both sides of Nebby's torso with his claws extended on his back.

There was also the addition of five black claws attached to both front paws and it had two V-shaped crystals on top while his back paws only had three claws. A triangular helmet that had a long thin antenna on top was sported on either side along with the Brain Prism and Nebby's tail gained three black spikes that are attached to each other along with three more spikes below his chin with Necrozma's legs (from another angle) seen extending from his back.

"NOOOOOO!" Dulse and Zossie cried again, more horrified than ever.

"YEEEESSSSS! THE POWER, HE-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! THE ABSOLUTE POOOOWEEEERRRRR!" cackled Dusk Mane Necrozma, relishing in the power he got from absorbing Nebby and his Ultra Aura.

Everybody gasped in absolute terror as Ash said what everybody was thinking, "Oh, no!"

"NEBBY!" screamed Lillie.

"Guardian, what have you done?!" Poipole balked.

"Now, he's become Dusk Mane Necrozma after absorbing Nebby and his Ultra Aura!" Rotom-Dex fretted.

"You son of a-! Necrozma! You've gone too far this time, the Power Rangers will be sure to put you down and they're us given what we're going to put you through!" Race roared in fury, just as devastated and outraged over what happened to Nebby.

Dusk Mane Necrozma heard Race's declaration as he turned to face him and Falcon but when he heard him say "Power Rangers", he chuckled sarcastically in amusement, "Ooh! Where's my camera and autograph book? Heh, Power Rangers. A bunch of ragtag kids with attitude such as you in super-powered spandex, huh? So, the heroes of old are still using kids of all sorts to do their dirty work, huh? Not surprising, really, even the most senile or 'dedicated' lot of adults fighting crime is full of nothing but a bunch of xenophobic, racist, cowardly sacks of dung beetles who are in over their peanut heads over even the most trivial and pathetic of human conflicts and missteps such as guns and ringing doorbells. Well, if you're looking for trouble, meet my kids!"

Then, Dusk Mane Necrozma roared loudly as several more Ultra Wormholes opened and then, Blacephalon, Xurkitree, Buzzwole, and Pheromosa returned to Alola after coming out of the Ultra Wormholes.

"NO!" the gang and Ash cried in shock.

"Uh, guys! Something's telling me this is not a parade for the faint-hearted!" Fishlegs called, feeling unnerved.

"What are those things?" Snotlout asked.

"OH, NO! Blacephalon, Xurkitree, Buzzwole, Pheromosa; those are the Ultra Pillars we've returned to Ultra Space but Necrozma's letting them run loose again through Nebby's Ultra Aura and his power from it!" Rotom-Dex freaked, now in a total panic as he recognized the Ultra Beasts coming back.

"Oh, great!" Race griped.

Sarah's family overheard this and they were just as stunned as Doug gasped in horror, "You're kidding!"

"Necrozma's now having a field day with the power he obtained from Nebby's Ultra Aura! This isn't random at all, he's toying with us!" Tsukumaro grunted worriedly.

Tsukumaro was right; in their own respective Ultra Wormholes, the four Ultra Pillars that were brought back were sent to different locations with Blacephalon appearing before Hala, Hariyama, and Tapu Koko at the Ruins of Conflict, Buzzwole stood before Olivia at the Ruins of Life, Pheromosa made herself known to Nanu and his Persian at the Ruins of Abundance, and Xurkitree stood face to face with Hapu, Mudella, and Golurk at the Ruins of Hope.

"Oh, not again!"

"What are we gonna do?!"

"This is a disaster, an ultra disaster with a capital 'D'!"

"We got to stop him and get Nebby back!"

"But, how? We'll never be able to match him now that he's fused with him and using his power to hold him hostage moments after he sacrificed himself!"

"And, we got nothing else to break him free from the Black Beast's hold!"

"Well, just be glad Guzzlord is not amongst the Ultra Pillars being set free in our Alola!"

"That, we can agree with, Sis!" Oshawott, Snowflake, Flygon, Jolteon, Sonic, Tyrunt, Talonflame, and Cradinos bantered frantically as Dusk Mane Necrozma cackled at everyone's hopelessness of the situation at hand.

"From this point forward, now that I have what I wanted and more with your little Nebby in my hands, this world and Ultra Space as you know it will cease to exist! WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE!" Necrozma laughed as he opened another Ultra Wormhole and made his way to it.

"He's escaping!" Gladion grunted.

"AHH! NEBBY!" Solgaleo roared as he chased after Necrozma to save Nebby.

"WAIT! Stop, give us back Nebby right now!" Ash bellowed as he, Pikachu, and Garchomp tried to get in on the chase.

But, it was too late; Ash, Pikachu, Garchomp, and Solgaleo couldn't catch up with Necrozma as he vanished within the Ultra Wormhole he opened and went through, cackling loudly as it closed on them.

"Bye-bye, kiddies!" Necrozma taunted as his cackles echoed and everyone was left devastated by everything that happened.

"Necrozma absorbed Nebby, and then he disappeared," Hala breathed, stunned as he realized the grimness of the entire situation at hand.

But, there was an unexpected upside to Necrozma's departure even if his victory resulted in the worst defeat the Power Rangers Ultra Rescue or the Power Rangers, in general, had ever faced; with the Black Beast now gone, everybody was starting to get their energy back as the region's Ultra Aura was back on track. This included Principal Oak and Kukui as they went from lazing about on the couches in the former's office to being fully energized and peppy once more as they snapped themselves awake.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

"TIME TO BULK UP!" Kukui yelled passionately as he ripped off his shirt and flexed his energized muscles.

"Time for my best Vul-tricks!" Principal Oak added, pulling off his Pokemon puns again as his Kantonian Vulpix woke up from her nap and chirped happily at seeing her caretakers back to their normal selves again.

Even Team Rocket was back to their normal selves in their Masalada truck with Jessie and James fully reenergized even if they didn't realize the full extent of what just went down with the heroes and the Matori Matrix in the scuffle with Necrozma, much to Wobuffett and Meowth's joy at seeing their buddies in tip-top shape again.

"AHH! Golly, I feel as fit as a fiddle!" James grinned.

"Ooh, that stuck-up glasses geek, Matori! She makes me so mad!" growled Jessie, remembering Matori's previous words to them.

"Yee-haw! Alright, those two clowns of ours are back to being abnormal this, partner!" Meowth snarked gleefully to Wobuffett as they all set forward to take action, remembering Matori's words and Meowth's earlier observations on Sarah, Nebby, Nebula, and Lunala's battle with Necrozma.

"Step on it! Let's catch them and fast!"

"Our targets are Lunala, the princess, her own Lunala and Solgaleo, and the super-rare whatever that was after them!"

"That's...right!"

"So, what should we do now that our operation's a bust? Shall we give up and go home?" Matori lazily asked Gozu, unaware of Necrozma being gone and the Ultra Aura being back to normal for everyone.

"Uh-Huh... Let's go and get some Pinap Juice on the way back while we think things through, okay?" Gozu lazily agreed before Matori suddenly snapped awake and realized what she and her right hand just said to each other, surprising her Alolan Meowth as he looked on in amazement.

"Hold it! No way, we'll never give up, not after we've come so close to getting that Ultra Beast along with Solgaleo, Lunala, and the princess's UBs! The fact that they were all present before is very interesting and it should prove quintessential for Giovanni and everybody else back at Headquarters! We'll wait for another shot and once we have them, they'll be ours for the taking!"

"Yes, M'am! You lot, activate the optical camouflage again and prepare to attack once you see the Ultra Beasts and the princess!" Gozu ordered in agreement, snapping himself awake as the reenergized grunts complied and turned themselves and their ship invisible, hoping to restart their operation and hope nothing goes wrong next time.

Meanwhile, the others joined up with Sarah's family as they all tended to the downed princess and Lunala, wondering what they should do next now that they're down a ranger and an Ultra Beast just as Lusamine, Burnet, Faba, and Wicke (all of them energized and back to normal, too) arrived and rushed over to them after witnessing the entire battle that ended in total disaster.

"How are Lunala and Sarah?" Lusamine asked.

"We're administering first aid," Kiawe reported as they saw see Lillie, Mallow, and Lana doing what they can for Lunala while everybody else did what they could for Sarah.

"You'll be okay, you two!"

"Here's a Sitrus Berry."

"Please be strong!" the girls pleaded.

"Lunala's hurt from being fused with Necrozma and Sarah's in critical condition," Sophocles said.

"They have to be treated immediately before they succumb to their wounds! We have to get them to a Pokemon Center, quickly!" Wicke suggested, seeing how urgent things are for Lunala and Sarah.

"The nearest one is in the Command Center below the Pokemon School," added Burnet, just as grave and serious about the danger at hand.

"Let's hurry and transport them, their lives depend on us getting them there on time! Faba?" Lusamine decided before turning to Faba.

"Right!" the Aether Foundation scientist saluted, knowing what they have to do.

In the Command Center's Pokemon Center below the school, Lunala and Sarah were safely transported and placed onto medical beds with Lunala inside a large healing tank with wires hooked up to her to allow Burnet and Wicke to monitor her vitals and her heartbeat for abnormalities, defects, and anything else that had been caused by the extreme conditions of the previous battle she was in and act on them.

Sarah was on a medical bed next to her with the same equipment attached to her but as she was sleeping, she was whispering Nebby's name repeatedly as if she was subconsciously feeling the lack of Nebby's presence with everybody gathered and was wondering what happened to him.

Everybody watching from outside the Pokemon Center watched anxiously and with bated breath, hoping that Lunala and Sarah could be healed as best they could by Wicke and Burnet's hands. Dulse and Zossie, however, were even more anxious than before as they went through the gravity of the situation before them as they looked at how battered up and beaten the Moone Pokemon and the little princess were before they were being treated by Lusamine's colleagues and friends.

"This is terrible; both Alola's light and Nebby have been stolen by Necrozma. It's only a matter of time before the region's shrouded in darkness again," Dulse frowned in despair.

Zossie couldn't help but agree as she said sadly, "Yeah, and I really loved Alola's beautifully warm light..."

"Everybody!" Kukui called as he and Principal Oak (to the joy of everybody gathered) came into the Command Center after hearing the news about what happened.

"Professor Kukui and Principal Oak!" cheered Ash with joy and relief.

"Is everyone alright?"

"Yeah!" the gang and Ash replied although Tyson replied solemnly as he pointed to Sarah and Lunala and told them, "Well, not everybody, dudes..."

When they saw Lunala and the devastating state that Sarah's in (judging by the sheer amount of bandages she was wrapped in), the Alola Pokemon Professor and the Pokemon School principal couldn't help but gawk in shock and bewilderment.

"Amazing! That's Lunala!" Kukui shrieked, taking notice of Lunala first.

"Yep, it looks like our Professor Kukui is back to normal!" Sophocles smiled, relieved to have some sliver of good news finally come the heroes' way.

"That's right, my once-troubled heart now feels like nothing but clear skies on a Sunny Day!" Kukui smiled brightly, also relieved to be back to his old self.

"I feel like a Roggen-roller! Ringing a Bel-dum! Without a care-umaka!" Principal Oak added, feeling the same way.

Even Lillie and Gladion were relieved to see the adults back to their normal selves as Lillie smiled to her mother, "You all seem back to normal, too!"

"We are, it's quite bittersweet; we're only fine because Necrozma is currently absorbing Nebby's Ultra Aura instead of ours," Lusamine nodded, the heroes now growing worried as they could only feel nothing but fear for Nebby and Sarah's conditions.

"I wonder if Nebby's going to be alright after he made that sacrifice earlier," Ash wondered.

"But, wait! What on earth happened to Sarah and what's this about Nebby?" Kukui realized, looking back to Sarah as the heroes looked at each other and nodded, deciding to tell him and Principal Oak the truth.

"Professor, Principal Oak, you see... Necrozma did this; he nearly killed Sarah and broke the Sun Sword," Ash began, still devastated by everything.

Kiawe nodded with a grim frown as he added, "The worst part is he absorbed Nebby after he saved Solgaleo from being his next victim and sacrificed himself for us and our sakes."

"And now, with his power, he's unleashed all of the Ultra Pillars we've returned to Ultra Space back to Alola," Lana put in sadly.

"Basically, this whole operation is a complete disaster."

"And, nobody lived happily ever after. That's it, the end," Hiccup and Fishlegs finished (the former being sarcastic about the whole thing), shocking Principal Oak and Kukui before they frowned solemnly, feeling bad for everybody involved.

Star and Zorro walked up to them, sharing devastated frowns as the latter held the broken heirloom and showed it to them, Kukui taking the Sun Sword and examining its remains as the Shiny Lucario said, "This is what's left of Mom and her family's sword..."

"I'm sorry, kids. Nebby's a good soul and I'm sure he did the right thing when he did what he did."

"We'll do what we can to get him back, no need to worry," they reassured warmly even if it didn't do much to lift the heroes' spirits back up.

At that moment, Burnet and Wicke exited the Pokemon Center with bittersweet smiles on their faces as everybody faced them and Ash asked, "Professor Burnet, How's Lunala doing?"

"The treatment...was a success for Lunala!"

"All she needs to do now is regain her strength and she'll be as right as rain soon," Burnet and Wicke replied, bringing relief to everyone gathered.

"Oh, Lunala..." Lillie smiled in relief, seeing the older Moone Pokemon sleeping peacefully.

"And, Mom?" Star pleaded, causing Burnet and Wicke to give them sad frowns as they eyed Sarah on her medical bed with Petunia, Mittens, Azure, and Warner along with Shadow and Winter, either on her bed or beside her, deeply worried for her.

"She'll take much longer given the severity of her wounds from Necrozma, I'm afraid. This is the absolute worst condition she's ever been in," Wicke sighed.

"Hmm... Necrozma," Gladion muttered quietly, seething at how Necrozma was capable of defeating Sarah and causing so much chaos in the span of only a few hours.

"Hang on, I know we saw Necrozma; on the mural that we found within the ruins behind the Altar of the Sunne!" Ash realized, remembering the stone mural that detailed the legend of Necrozma in its original form.

"Yes, there is a definite connection between Necrozma and the Blinding One. And, as we all know now, it's very clear that Necrozma is indeed the former Blinding One. All we need to do now is figure out a way to restore Necrozma's light and bring Nebby back," Lusamine smiled, alleviated about whatever hopes the heroes have regarding what to do in their greatest predicament yet.

"How are we gonna do that? That monster cracked Sarah's sword down to only a mere stub, she's out of the picture after that blow she took from his crazy-strong Metal Claw, the Ultra Beasts you guys once returned to Ultra Space are back and running wild, and Nebby's somewhere out there in Ultra Space with that creep as we speak," Piplup griped to her.

"This is our greatest disaster ever and we don't even have a plan on what to do now, especially since we could be reaching the END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!" flailed a panic-stricken Phanpy before Skiddo gave him a bonk on the head to snap him out of his panic stupor. "Ugh, thanks..."

"He's right, you know; he could be killed the more Necrozma absorbs his Ultra Aura!" Skiddo agreed.

"And, what about Poipole and her homeworld? They need Necrozma and his light because if we don't get them back soon, all of her subjects and her mother are going to die!" finished Cyndaquil, reminding everybody of why Poipole came to Alola in the first place.

"I'll decipher the text on the mural as fast as I can so we can get to the bottom of it!" Burnet volunteered.

"Just one more thing, guys. How exactly was Necrozma able to destroy the Sun Sword using Metal Claw?" Rotom-Dex asked.

Tsukumaro sighed as he approached Kukui and the professor handed him the broken sword as he stayed, "In our time, back then, Necrozma himself to even the smallest part of the Sun Sword itself when it was at full power following its forging. It was technically our own 'Blade That Seals the Darkness'; something akin to what you youngsters call, the Master Sword, from those newfangled video games known as 'The Legend of Zelda' you played. When used by the royal family in battle, it was able to repel the darkest and most evil of villains and any and all who fell to its power feared it and what it symbolizes to all of us from the light and the dark. Over time, the sword was able to absorb Alola's sacred light, allowing it to heal itself and grow stronger as a result."

"Is that why it was in the Ultra Recon Squad's cave when Sarah found it along with her Silvally's Memory Discs during the Akala Treasure Hunt two years ago?" Gladion questioned the old advisor and the royal family.

"Most likely, yes. But, in years past since it was lost in the Ultra Beast War before Dulse and Zossie found it, it took centuries for the sword to regain its power but compared to the kind of power Necrozma wields now..." Delilah nodded.

"He has grown stronger during his time in our prison and he was able to acquire the strength needed to surpass its power and destroy it, reducing my family's heirloom to what it is now. I don't know if its power *can* be restored after all this time, especially since it showed that we're dealing with a very different Necrozma right now," Doug sighed miserably.

As everybody listened in and wondered what they can do to get around or solve this latest problem of theirs, Poipole suddenly gasped as she recalled the time when she and her Alola family were teleported by Mismagius to the hallway leading up to a familiar tree and a set of challenges that preceded it. The tree even talked to them upon their arrival and its crystal branches sported Pokemon Gems.

It wasn't until she thought back to the tree telling them what kind of tree it was and it sprouting some kind of chest for them that it suddenly clicked in her mind and she instantly knew what miracle they needed, "That's it! I know! I remember, the tree! The tree, tree, tree, tree! Miracle Tree, Miracle Tree! Miracle Tree!"

"What is it, Poipole?" Ash asked, seeing Poipole chirp and flail in realization and everybody sweatdropped mainly because, without Sarah, they couldn't understand what she was trying to tell everybody.

Even the Pokemon who are capable of speaking in fluent English as well as Pokemon speak let alone one or the other had a hard time following what Poipole is saying either because she tends to talk too fast for them to follow or some of them are not in the know regarding what she and her Alola family went through in their previous adventures.

"Poipole seems to be excited about something. I sure wish we could understand what she's saying," Rotom-Dex remarked before Poipole facepalmed in annoyance before she proceeded to draw on the floor for everyone to see what looked to be an oddly-shaped treasure chest but to the shock of Sarah's entire family that remember what happened during the Haunted House attempt on Lana's sisters, it was a chest from a familiar tree that they knew.

Even the gang was surprised to see what Poipole drew as they remembered the object Sarah and her family told them about previously and how it came to be, "The Xerneas Chest!"

"From the Legendary Tree in the underground castle catacombs!" Tsukumaro balked in realization.

"Legendary Tree?" echoed the baby Jungle Pokemon.

"Xerneas Chest?" the Cyber Pokemon Gang piped up.

"But, Sarah wasn't able to crack it open."

"How can it help us now?" Mallow and Lillie noted.

"Wait, wait, whoa, back up! Hold it! Legendary Tree, Xerneas Chest, catacombs, okay, what didn't you all or Little Bird tell us when Zam and I started living here?" Zacian inquired suspiciously.

"That's the thing, Zacian. You and Zamazenta didn't know anything about them just as we didn't beforehand. It was around the time Zeraora, Zorua, and the Swords of Justice came to live with the Alolan Royal Family," Ash answered knowingly to the two Warrior Pokemon. "See, during our attempt at a haunted house for Lana's sisters at our school's Boo Bash last Halloween with Acerola and Mimikins, a Mismagius and some other Ghost Pokemon came over to join in on the fun and used hypnosis on us but it teleported Sarah and her family with her to some underground passageways leading to her family's old castle."

"At the old site of their home, in the catacombs, there was a crystal-like tree King Doug and Queen Delilah planted years ago before the Ultra Beast War that's littered with flowers housing these crystals akin to Pokemon and their powers called Pokemon Gems," Mallow added.

"When Sarah and her family came up to the tree, it awakened to her presence and introduced itself as the Legendary Tree which was actually the Motherlight of the royal family and all of Alola's Pokemon. The Pokemon Gems Sarah carried from it including your own came from the Legendary Tree herself and before she brought back and renovated their old home, she left them a small treasure chest called the Xerneas Chest," Sophocles put in.

"None of us knew how to open it, not even Sarah could. The only other thing the tree told her was that it'll prove beneficial to her in the fight ahead which could be the one we're having against Necrozma since he still has Nebby," Kiawe continued.

"But, we can't open it without a key," Lana informed.

"And, we don't know where that key could be for us to find and open the chest," finished Lillie.

"Since we're in the midst of Alola's greatest crisis, perhaps the time has come to find out what's inside the chest the tree left for us," Cobalion pondered.

Sophocles nodded in thought, "You might be right, Cobalion. The Pokemon Gems from the tree are in tune with the Sun Sword's Power as she said; maybe they and the Xerneas Chest could be our only hope of restoring it and its power."

"The prophecy also said that 'the fated heroine, her Pokemon, and everyone she loves and cares for will rise'. Does that mean it's alluding to all of us working together to bring back Necrozma in his true form?" Spookeon pondered.

At that moment, a light clicked in Sylveon's head as she realized, "That's it! That's just what the legend says, Mother will rise along with the rest of us to restore Necrozma to his true form as the Blinding One and to save Alola and the worlds we all live in!"

"Yes! Guys, it's talking about Sarah AND all of us being the last hope of Alola, Necrozma, and Ultra Space in their darkest hour!" Rotom-Dex exclaimed with a new understanding of what they now know.

"Interesting, it's a convincing argument alluding to something larger involving all of us and not just Sarah. But, we'll know that for sure once we decipher the mural and its ancient writings," Lusamine concurred.

"And, what will we do with the Ultra Beasts that had been set loose around Alola Again, Ms. Lusamine?" Xena questioned causing Ash and the others to groan in exasperation, knowing what'll ensue for all of them next.

"Oh no, I do NOT want to go through capturing Pheromosa again," groaned Kiawe, knowing how much of a pain Pheromosa was for everyone.

"Ditto," Sophocles nodded wearily.

"My daddy and the Mimikyu Clan along with Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar can give Mr. Nanu a hand in dealing with Pheromosa and her speed," Mai suggested.

"The Dragonstone Patrol and the Cat Pack will be of service to you and the Island Kahunas in this crisis, Lusamine," Harmony offered as she and Wild stepped forward and the latter nodded in agreement.

"We'll have the Pyrrhia and Pantala Dragons help us secure the Ultra Pillars, too," Wild concurred.

Lusamine smiled, thankful that the Cat Pack, the Dragonstone Patrol, and Mai stepped forward on Sarah's behalf to do what they must in order to protect Alola and the Ultra Pillars from whatever harm might befall them, "Thank you, all of you, I know Sarah will be very proud of you. As you leave, I want you to take some Beast Balls with you, there's a good chance that one ball might not be enough should they each break out upon capture given how stubborn they can be as well."

They all nodded as Clefable brought in some Beast Balls and replenished first-aid kits to Mai, the Dragonstone Patrol, and the Cat Pack to take with them with Trooper now laying down the plan of attack for himself and the others, "Alright, troops, this is gonna be wild so we'll need to exercise caution at all times while we're fighting the Ultra Pillars. Harmony, Jazz, Aurora, Meadow, you make your way to Poni Island and rendezvous with Hapu while alerting the RainWings and the LeafWings about Xurkitree. Zoey, Cam, Arcia, Brooke, you take our homeland and join up with Hala. Wild, you and the Cat Pack will hook up with Barley, Hayden, Heart, and Tail along with Nanu and Mai once she has her old family and friends and the other Ghost Pokemon with her. I'll lead Mei, Blue, Axe, the SilkWings, and the HiveWings to Akala and join Olivia in dealing with Buzzwole via frontal assault. Dragonstone Patrol, Cat Pack, move out!"

"Right!" they all agreed, setting off along with Mai while taking the Beast Balls and first-aid kits given to them by Clefable as they put their containment plan into action, hoping to alert the Pyrrhia and Pantala Dragons about their mission.

"See ya!"

"Bye, guys!"

"Good luck!" Shadow and Winter's Night Lights shouted before Faba came into the room with news about the Matori Matrix given their capture attempt.

"Everyone! I've just determined the owners of the Team Rocket aircraft that tried to capture Lunala, Solgaleo, Nebula, and Nebby," he informed gravely.

"Okay, not gonna lie, that stupid syndicate of hotheads needs to go," grumbled Terrakion, annoyed about Team Rocket.

"At least it's not its own Three Stooges since they don't have half a brain to pull off something this devious," Blitz reassured.

"But, who were the jokers running that jalopy earlier tonight, anyway?" inquired Nyasi.

"Specifically, it's Team Rocket's most elite agents known only as the Matori Matrix."

"Matori Maxtrix? Oh, my," breathed Lusamine.

"Let's discuss our course of action and hopefully get Necrozma back in our world and over there."

"Then, you'll need our help. We know better than anybody else what Necrozma is capable of."

"With our expertise and experience in knowing his capabilities as the Black Beast he is now, there's a chance we'll be ready next time he comes," Doug and Delilah offered as they and Tsukumaro joined Faba, Wicke, Burnet, and Lusamine.

"But, will your daughter be okay with you gone?" Wicke asked.

"Our Lil' Britches is a big girl, she's handled herself more times than she can count and grew up from each experience she had with only her friends giving her a hand. I'm sure she'll be grateful to have them by her side just as we would whenever we can," reassured Johnathan as he and Diane along with Nikki, Asha, and James joined them as well.

"Understood. And, thank you, Your Majesties, everyone," Lusamine agreed as she turned to everybody else and requested, "I'm asking you all to please watch over Sarah and Lunala and stay by their side until something happens to them."

"Right/Yes/Got it!" the kids, Pokemon, and dragons agreed.

"You can count on us, Lusamine!"

"We'll keep eternal vigilance over the princess and Lunala until you return with a plan for Necrozma," Ash and Calyrex vowed.

"Just be careful," Asha warned them.

"I think we should go, too," Kukui decided to Principal Oak who agreed, the adults leaving to plan things out while everyone else stayed behind to keep watch over Sarah and Lunala.

The final hours of the night passed as the dawn was beginning to break on the horizon and after seeing Buzzwole, Blacepheon, Xurkitree, and Pheromosa return to Alola before the four Ultra Pillars wandered off, Olivia, Hala, Nanu (joined by Mimikins and Acerola), and Hapu went to their Kahuna shrines within their islands' respective ruins to offer their prayers along with Tapu Koko and his fellow Island Guardians. They also had a good reason for doing this; they were informed by the Dragonstone Patrol and the Cat Pack about what was going to happen and everything that transpired the previous night, they knew they had to prepare for the worst given the gravity of the situation, especially since everything will happen on the day of the solar eclipse-the day of Alola's annual Manalo Festival.

At the Ruins of Conflict, with Tapu Koko watching nearby, Hala meditated as dawn finally broke upon all of Alola and looked to the rising sun, knowing what was about to happen just as Zoey, Cam, Arcia, and Brooke arrived and found him overlooking the sun and anticipating what was about to come.

"It's begun: the day of the solar eclipse and the Manalo Festival," he mused sagely to Tapu Koko and to the pups as he noticed them as well.

"It is time," agreed Tapu Koko.

Olivia offered her prayers at the Ruins of Life just as Trooper, Mei, Blue, Axe, the SilkWings, and the HiveWings arrived with Tapu Lele overlooking them, the Akala Kahuna and Guardian also bracing themselves for their region's greatest challenge yet following her friends' clash with Necrozma and the knowledge of Nebby being kidnapped by Necrozma, the little Solgaleo saving his creators, family, and friends in the process.

"Sarah's sweet little Nebby has been taken away and Lunala, the Moone half of his creators, had her strength stolen while Sarah herself was mortally wounded by Necrozma." she mused as she thought out loud, "What is to happen? What will become of them and Alola if this madness doesn't stop?"

Tapu Bulu was overlooking Nanu as he, Acerola, and Mimikins offered their prayers at the Ruins of Abundance and the Cat Pack, Barley, Hayden, Heart, and Tail came over to them with Mai, Totem Mimikyu, the Mimikyu Clan, Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar joining the group once they and her father were given the lowdown on their home region's greatest crisis.

"Is Sarah..." Acerola asked quietly as Mai and her father joined her and Mimikins.

"She'll live but it'll be a while before she wakes up," Mai whispered as Nanu began his own prayers.

"The Blinding One, I see... Apparently, this all happened over 500 years ago but you were saved by the manifestation of the sun and moon, right? In that case, won't you help us this time?" he said.

While everybody sweatdropped awkwardly at the Ulu'Ulu Kahuna, Acerola stepped in as she called to her uncle, "Listen to yourself, you need to do it properly."

She made her case known as she closed her eyes and prayed for him as her island home's former Trial Captain (all while Nanu is picking his ears before he sat cross-legged again from before), "Great Tapu Kuku Bulu, Guardian of Abundance and Ulu'Ulu Island, please let our feelings reach the true Necrozma we all know as the Blinding One. Let all of our feelings be heard..."

Totem Mimikyu agreed as he offered his own prayers to Tapu Bulu and his fellow guardians, "Tapu Bulu, please watch over us all in our time of need, you and your fellow guardians. Everybody involved including us will be in for the fight of our lives for the salvation of Ultra Space, our Alola, and our world as we know it. Please watch over my daughter, her friends, her extended family, and the princess, especially..."

Hapu offered her prayers at the Ruins of Hope with Tapu Fini, Mudella, Golurk, Harmony, Jazz, Aurora, and Meadow watching over her from the water beside the shrine as she mused, "History is about to repeat itself after all these years. What's going to happen to us and all of Alola?"

Back at the Command Center's Pokemon Center, Ash, the gang, Gladion, and the Pokemon and dragons gathered continued to keep eternal vigilance over Sarah and Lunala. So far, their current conditions haven't changed and they were thankfully stable (save for Sarah still subconsciously recognizing that Nebby isn't among her friends and family as she muttered his name over and over while she slept). Everything seemed peaceful, too peaceful for the most part, but that didn't matter as they waited for any signs of life from them to alleviate their worries even though they remained optimistic and had high hopes for their recovery.

"Lunala, Sarah... I hope you'll feel better soon, okay?" Ash sighed, content with their recovery.

"It's strange but also amazing, right, Sarah? I remember that feeling we all had when we rode on Nebby after I was saved by Lunala; when I was on her back, she felt nice and warm as he did. It was like, I felt the power of the moon through her," Lillie thought with a warm smile as she looked between her best friend and Lunala.

"Nebby, you and Lunala rescued both my mother and sister. But, you paid the price when you had to sacrifice yourself to Necrozma to save us all; you took a real risk knowing that doing so will ensure Sarah will be saved along with us but Lunala and Solgaleo will also live to see the light of day. Now, it's my turn to help you," Gladion thought, recalling Nebby's sacrifice and what he had to do to save his friends and family and his creators.

Everybody thought back to Nebby's sacrifice as well and now feeling refreshed and renewed from the newfound hope he had given them, they were ready to do what they must to save him, Sarah, Lunala, Solgaleo, Necrozma, and all of Alola. Even Dulse and Zossie couldn't help but feel at ease with Alola's heroes, all of them now ready to finish what they started.

Ash confirmed their renewed determination as he then vowed, "You can count on us, Nebby! We'll give it our all for you!"

"Right!"

"With all of our might!" the others and Rotom-Dex agreed, deciding not to give up and keep their hopes up and even Sarah's family agreed to fight on for Sarah's sake as well as Nebby's and those of everyone from across Alola.

Race and his family also agreed to lend them a hand as they nodded in agreement, the former Battle Frontier Champion placing his left arm housing his Z-Ring and his left arm and fist where his heart is, vowing to fight and protect everyone, Ultra Space, their world, Nebby, Necrozma, and Alola in his girlfriend's stead.

Suddenly, things would finally start looking up for our heroes; as they reaffirmed their hopes to save their world, Alola, everyone they loved, Sarah, Nebby, and even Necrozma despite everything he's done to them, Solgaleo, Nebby, and Nebula, their Z-Rings including Gladion's all started to glow brightly and the Z-Power they generated made its way to Lunala (also consequently causing the Z-Power Ring Hala created for Ash to be embued with the Island Guadians' blessings from the Z-Power they've created from their combined hopes in response to his earlier vow of hope for Nebby on everyone's behalf, making it a full-fledged Z-Power Ring).

Everyone was surprised by this and so were the Viking Teens as the latter group gasped in wonder while their dragons' eyes widened in awe and their jaws dropped, "Whoa..."

At the same time, the Element of Hope sensed the hardened will and hope of its owner's friends as well as their friendship, suddenly appearing from out of her second satchel. The Element sparkled with light as the Z-Power seeped onto it before it entered the glass tank and hovered over Sarah, shining down upon its mortally-wounded owner.

The Element of Hope continued to hover over its owner while Petunia, Warner, Azure, Mittens, Shadow, and Winter woke up and noticed the light the Element was shining down upon her, seeing her wounds finally start to heal, and soon after, she gave a small groan as she was being revitalized.

"Mama!" Petunia, Aurea, and Warner cooed happily while Mittens meowed and Shadow and Winter warbled in joyous relief, all of them carefully nuzzling her as she slowly woke up.

"Lunala, Sarah!" Gladion gasped as he and everyone else smiled in relief and happiness as Lunala screeched and roared while she hovered, her strength finally returned and in top form.

"It's a miracle, Big Bro...!" Zossie breathed in wonder, smiling brightly.

"Amazing, your prayers and your hopes have allowed you to revitalize Lunala! She's now twice as powerful as she used to be!" Dulse laughed heartily.

"She regained all of her strength thanks to us! And, look, Sarah's starting to wake up!" Rotom-Dex buzzed ecstatically.

"Lunala, you're back! Thank goodness!" cheered Poipole.

But, their relief and happiness were cut short yet again as Kiawe noticed that the tank Lunala and Sarah were in was about to shatter in response to Lunala's revitalized power and gasped in horror and realization that the tank can't hold the Moone Pokemon anymore now that she's back at full power.

"EVERYONE, LOOK OUT!" he screamed as Lunala roared again, and to everyone's shock, the healing tank's glass shattered (forcing Shadow and Winter to shield Sarah, Petunia, Muffins, Azure, and Warner from the broken glass with their wings).

Necrozma has absorbed Nebby and taken him away to Ultra Space after he heroically sacrificed himself to save everybody while a mortally-wounded Sarah and Lunala recovered and regained their strength from their saviors, friends, and family following a similar merciless assault on them. The future is now an uncertain mystery but the journey continues...…
