Ash - When Lunala, Nebby, Nebula, and Solgaleo were threatened, the Power Rangers Ultra Rescue were there to help. We barely succeeded in saving them and Solgaleo when he appeared to help us save his best friend. To make matters worse, the Sun Sword was destroyed by Necrozma and he mortally wounded Sarah while absorbing Nebby after he sacrificed himself to protect Solgaleo, running back to Ultra Space through an Ultra Wormhole. After that, we made a promise to rescue Nebby at all costs so no matter what... We'll give it our all!
Immediately picking up where the previous episode left off, Lunala is reenergized by the Z-Power given to her by the princess' friends, Race, and Gladion via their Z-Rings and Z-Crystals and she roared, the healing tank housing her and Sarah breaking apart as she did so, becoming agitated and frantic. This immediately drew the attention of the adults as they all came back inside to see the Moone Pokemon back up and Sarah slowly sitting up on her medical bed with help from Shadow, Winter, Mittens, Azure, Petunia, and Warner, feeling weak but now back in good health.
Everybody didn't realize it right away when they looked at Lunala but remembering everything that went down the previous night and subconsciously realizing that Nebby had given himself to Necrozma to save her and Solgaleo and Nebula as well as everybody else, she tried to break free to return to Ultra Space and rescue him before he would be dead from being merged with the Black Beast for too long.
"Sis!"
"Ponchita!"
"Honey!"
"Lil' Britches!"
"Princess!"
"Sweetie!" Asha, James, Nikki, Johnathan, Tsukumaro, and Diane gasped in shock and surprise.
"My baby!"
"Sweetheart!" Doug and Delilah cried, immediately rushing over to their daughter along with David and Donna (former queen) and feeling relieved she was still alive.
"Lunala!" Lusamine called in shock as Lunala screeched and ignored her calls, desperate to escape and rescue Nebby. "Please, Lunala, calm down!"
"It's okay, Lunala! It's alright, it's not your fault! We'll get Uncle Nebby back!" Poipole reassured as best she could while floating up to the frantic Moone Pokemon as she continued to struggle and screech in panic.
"Hey! What's with Lunala?" gasped a shocked Astrid.
"She's flipped her lid!" Zenna added as Lunala continued to ram herself into the healing tank to break free and go off to find Nebby but to no avail.
"*gasp* It's Nebby! She must want to rescue Nebby; she thinks she and Solgaleo are responsible for what happened to him after Necrozma merged with him to become Dusk Mane Necrozma, what do you think?" Lillie realized.
"Of course, and we promised to save him along with everybody else, Alola, Ultra Space, and Necrozma, too!" Ash nodded determinedly.
"Guess we all know what we gotta do next," Tai Lung agreed, knowing what they have to do now.
"If it's possible, we must make our way to Poipole's home, find Nebby, save him, and restore Necrozma back to his original form!" Guardian concurred.
"Right, let's go! We have to get back to Ultra Space and save Nebby!" Gladion confirmed with everybody else nodding in agreement.
"Right now! There's not a moment to lose!" Sophocles added.
"Let's do it/Let's do it/Let's do it!" Sarah's family agreed, their minds made up.
"We'll go, too!"
"We have to return home and get assistance from our boss and the rest of the Ultra Recon Squad, immediately!" Zossie and Dulse said, determined to help their friends right the wrongs their ancestors made, once and for all.
"WAIT JUST A MINUTE!" bellowed a shocked Lusamine as she and the other shocked adults realized what her children, their friends and Pokemon, and Sarah's family all planned to do. "You all intend on going through that Ultra Wormhole to Ultra Space with Lunala alone?!"
"Yeah!"
"We have to! It's the only way to save Nebby and stop Necrozma!"
"And, to restore light back in Ultra Space," Ash, Amber, and Brawleon implored.
"But, it's too dangerous!"
"But, we went to Ultra Space last year with Nebby alone to save you when you were captured by Nihilego. And, we made it back fine, all of us," Gladion reminded firmly, determined to help Nebby and keep the promise he just made to him while Lillie and Ash nodded.
But, Burnet was just as adamant about them not going without a plan of attack and worried that they'll never come back from their latest rescue attempt alive and with Nebby at all as she retorted, "It may have been fine back then even if you managed to do so without your powers. But, there's no telling if the Ultra Wormhole Necrozma went through with Nebby as Dusk Mane Necrozma would even lead to Ultra Space and Poipole's home within it let alone another world we have no way of knowing about!"
"Lusamine and Wicke are right, children! This is not a game anymore, this is a battle between life and death regarding the fates of our world as well as Ultra Space and Poipole's! If you fail in your mission to save Nebby and restore light and life to Poipole's home and restore Necrozma to his original form, there's no telling what will happen to all of us then! You could end up being trapped in Ultra Space forever with no chance of coming home!" Tsukumaro warned adamantly, also against the idea of having the children, the Viking Teens, their Pokemon, and Sarah's family (without the human adults) joining them to protect them.
"There's no telling where you'll end up through that Ultra Wormhole even if you and Lunala along with Nebula and Solgaleo do follow Necrozma!"
"How could you go through with this without thinking it over and relying only on instinct and your hearts to guide you all?" frowned Diane and Johnathan in sheer disapproval.
"We'll be fine! Please, everybody!" Lillie reassured firmly, determined not to fail Nebby, Lunala, Nebula, Solgaleo, and Sarah again.
The adults could see how determined the kids, the Viking Teens, their Pokemon, and Sarah's family all are, and after a short standoff...
"...Lusamine," Sarah called, getting everybody's attention as she exited the healing tank with help from Warner, Azure, her parents, Petunia, Shadow, Mittens, and Winter, planning to join them and save Nebby while finishing what they started after hearing everything. "Let us go and return the favor to him, my Nebby..."
"...Very well," Lusamine conceded despite her reluctance and lingering fear of losing her children again as a majority of the other adults smiled, feeling proud of the heroes before them for taking the initiative and risking doing what they must in order to save Nebby, Necrozma, their world, and Ultra Space.
"And, we'll back you all up with everything we got for you to bring Nebby home!" Burnet vowed.
"Right!" Wicke concurred with a proud and supportive smile.
Sarah smiled and nodded before turning to her parents as they told her proudly, despite their own insecurities, "Go for it, Baby Girl..."
"Bring the Sun of Alola and our family home. We'll have everything ready for you if you do..."
"...Thanks, Mom, Dad," Sarah smiled as she hugged them and she and her friends and family rushed off to finish what they started the previous night. "Come on, Ultra Rescue Rangers, we got some Ultra Beasts and two worlds to save!"
"Right/Yeah/Let's go!" her family, friends, the Viking Teens, and their Pokemon concurred as they left.
"Hey, wait for us!" Zossie yelled as she and Dulse joined them.
"Mom, I'm going with them, I need to help Sis and make sure they get back home. You and everybody else watch over Alola until we return home!" Asha requested, turning to her parents.
"I had a feeling you would, you obviously pick up after your sister since I see so much of you in each other," sighed Nikki with a smile.
"Stay safe, Ponchita, both of you," James relented knowingly, the three of them sharing a hug along with Diane and Johnathan once they were told and Asha left to catch up with her sister and their friends.
Meanwhile, Solgaleo was overlooking the horizon as the dawn continued to break, also feeling responsible for what happened to Nebby the previous night while letting out a sentimental and remorseful sigh just as Nebula came up from behind him. She didn't hold him and Nebula responsible for what happened to Nebby given that Necrozma was after her and her Ultra Aura as well and they were all caught between a rock and a hard place with the power the Black Beast displayed and how he had everyone on the ropes with his might. When she heard that her mother was alive and back in full health, she was soon told that she and the rest of the Power Rangers Ultra Rescue are going to Poipole's homeworld in Ultra Space and they would need her, Lunala, and Solgaleo's help in getting there to rescue Nebby, restore Necrozma, and revitalize the Ultra Space Princess' dying world.
She then floated alongside her brother's solar half of his creators as he quipped, "I never knew how tempting yet taunting my own sun can be; even if it is its own creation, it wouldn't know how to honor the fallen that obtain, wield, and harness its power..."
"It wouldn't know how to unlike with humans and their loved ones, anyway, except as a soldier if it only fights... My brother, if he did die after he was killed by that black meanie, deserves to live in peace with my mother should she end her own life here and now," Nebula replied.
"...I failed the kid last night, when he made the ultimate sacrifice, to protect me and Lunala. I won't fail him again. When we get to Poipole's world, please, help me find the others like you so we can all end this madness."
Nebula was silent but she frowned and commented, "Maybe they don't want to be found, not after what Mr. Dulse and Ms. Zossie's ancestors and Team Eclipse did to that meanie and stole his light..."
"They're wrong; they'll help us fight, we've got to stick together until Ultra Space and your world are safe and Nebby's home."
The little Lunala was inspired by Solgaleo's own hopes and vow to right the wrongs that were made prior but she sighed and confessed, "...I may not know much since I was only a Cosmog and before Mama came into my life after I landed in the Crown Tundra but I've heard that the Ultra Beasts in Poipole's homeworld, after Necrozma became the Black Beast and his light was stolen along with the Ultra Beast War, her and her mother's subjects broke their ties with others and people of all sorts. Humanity of all kinds from beyond time and dimensions made worlds where standing together is impossible..."
Solgaleo had to admit that things were rough for everybody in Ultra Space ever since Necrozma's light was stolen and he became the Black Beast that played a part in the Ultra Beast War that resulted in him being sealed away for 500 years but he still clung onto hope that everything can be put right including getting Nebby back to the little princess safely and doing so without any casualties along the way.
"...Men of all kinds are still good; we fight, we kill, we betray one another... It's never easy...but we can rebuild, restore, revitalize, keep existing, loving, fighting for good, to maintain hope for all worlds. And, celebrate a brighter future, for everyone, hand in hand..."

(The new opening begins when we see legions of Pokemon trainers and their Pokemon training in a giant stadium and amongst them, Sarah, Ash, and the Pokemon School gang are training with their own Pokemon, preparing for the most important chapter of their lives before the trainers and their Pokemon stood at attention and the gang got into a group fighting pose as the song begins. They will eventually take part in the finalized Alola League to determine who is the top Pokemon trainer in the entire Alola region)

Pikachu (and his entire team) and Blitz (with some of his brothers and sisters) go on an adventure to find Ash, Torracat, Sarah, and Silvally disappeared on them when the quartet traveled back in time and meet a younger Kukui as he starts out on his Pokemon journey that leads him to become a Pokemon Professor in studying Pokemon moves)

(Finally, snippets of the Ultra Rescue Rangers' final missions involving Evox with their and the Beast Morphers Rangers' final clashes with him and his followers, the return of Necrozma and their efforts to restore him as the Bright One, the gang all taking part in the Alola League including Sarah or Ash facing off against Guzma and learning how he became the trainer and punk he is now and why he was running away, and a final battle with either one facing off against Kukui and Tapu-Koko in a final full 6-on-6 Pokemon battle and a match for the ages in Alola are shown. The intro then ends with Sarah reviving Necrozma in his true form and standing with him along with Cresselia, Zygarde (10% Forme), Zacian, Zamazenta, Xerneas, Giratina, and Rayquaza while she turned into her Lion Form and roared proudly as the titles appeared above the group on the ground)
Pokemon Sun & Moon - The Warrior Princess
Moments later, after Solgaleo and Nebula went off to join the heroes and prepare to set off for Ultra Space to begin their mission, Team Rocket finally arrived at the Pokemon School and prepared to confront the heroes to demand that they hand over Lunala, Solgaleo, Nebula, and Nebby, without realizing what they were doing as of now and what happened to Nebby the previous night.
Jessie laughed as she sneered, "So, all we need to do is to catch Lunala along with the princess and her own Solgaleo and Lunala before Pop-Cut Glasses cuts us off and then give them to the boss once we make a break for him."
"And, our brand will blow sky high with them in our grasp!" Meowth sneered in agreement.
And then, Four-Eyes will end up taking her orders from little ol' me.
"All while we take the high road!" Wobuffett finished just as the ground shook below them, taking them by surprise before they notice the river next to them from their left separating as the exit from the Zord Bay opened from underneath the waterfall.
They rushed over to the spot, thinking that they found a sneaky way to get into the Pokemon School undetected. However, they were soon greeted by Solgaleo and Lunala along with Nebula as they popped up from the Zord Bay exit, startling them as they saw them leave.
"Hey, wait! That couple was Lunala and Solgaleo!" Meowth balked in surprise before the rest of the heroes joined them with Sarah and Ask taking the lead on Winter and Garchomp and Gladion and Noivern holding the rear with Polar and Orpheus hooked up to Nebby's carriage again.
As for the Sun Sword and the Xerneas Chest, after meeting up with the Legendary Tree again and introducing her to her awestruck and amazed friends, Sarah and her family told them what had happened to Nebby as well as their clash with Necrozma and the destruction of her father's heirloom. The tree sounded grave when she spoke next after the gang finished by telling her they were going to Ultra Space to not only rescue Nebby and restore Necrozma but also save Poipole's homeworld and their own but she also held hope and agreed to let them take the Xerneas Chest, feeling that the key they're looking for could be in Poipole's World or somewhere else in Ultra Space.
With the Legendary Tree's blessings and the objects they needed, the heroes (joined by Dulse and Zossie) made their way for Ultra Space.
The sight of this only bolstered their eagerness to finally prove themselves as valuable members to their colleagues and superiors from their own syndicate as they all smirked, "We never give up."
"Twerps, beware!"
"Time for some new gathering fare!"
"On the double!"
Back in the Command Center, once they were sure the Power Rangers were making good progress on their departure, the adults and the rest of the royal family staying behind planned to give them a hand in their own way so as to make their mission easier for them to accomplish.
"Let's get moving as well," Lusamine called to everybody gathered.
"Right," Burnet nodded, understanding what she meant.
"I'll send for the helicopter!" Wicke replied as Kukui stepped forward to intervene, having a bad feeling regarding the gravity of their current situation and the likeliness of the Matori Matrix's intervention should they catch wind of their operation.
"Just a moment! Please, Lusamine, let me go instead. We and the kids have been inundated with situations of all sorts that we never could have predicted and given last night's events, there's no guarantee that Team Rocket won't strike again," Kukui offered.
"Kukui is right, Lusamine. Team Rocket has their sights on Necrozma as well as Nebby, Nebula, Solgaleo, Lunala, and our daughter," agreed Delilah as Doug nodded gravely. "The Matori Matrix is Team Rocket's most elite group of agents. They must be dealt with as well, please let my husband and I join him, too!"
"We saw the devastation of Alternate Sinnoh caused by their cold-blooded counterparts which turned the world our twins once knew into a wasteland of destruction and hopelessness for two years before we helped save them. We must quell the alternate threat the Matori Matrix is posing to all of us as soon as possible and we need your help to do it," Tsukumaro concurred.
"But, I-!" Lusamine began, unsure of how to respond until Faba stepped forward and agreed with Kukui, Delilah, and Tsukumaro.
"It's exactly as Professor Kukui, Master Tsukumaro, and the queen said. Please stay here, Lusamine, your services to all of us and the rangers as our commander and the head of the Aether Foundation are most invaluable. You're needed to gather data and issue orders appropriate for the circumstances at present on all our ends," the reformed Aether Paradise scientist reassured as he smiled at Kukui and Sarah's family (adoptive and by blood). "I'm with you, Your Majesties, Professor, all of you! Never fear, everything will be fine."
"Alright then, you have your wish. Good luck," Lusamine conceded, knowing they were right.
"Keep an eye on things, Burnet, Johnathan, Diane, Nikki, James," Kukui advised his white and Sarah's adoptive family.
"Okay, field's all yours," James agreed as Nikki, Diane, and Johnathan nodded.
"Be careful," Burnet replied, wishing her husband, Tsukumaro, Doug, and Delilah the best of luck.
"Mom, Dad, please watch over everybody until we get back."
"Your service as Alola's former king and queen will do us all good to keep everybody together should anything happen to us on our front," Doug and Delilah requested to their parents.
"Stay safe, children."
"Be careful, you and Tsukumaro and Kukui and Faba," Donna (former queen) and David nodded.
"Alright, Your Majesties, you and Kukui in my stead," Faba confirmed determinedly as they began to head out and confront the Matori Matrix.
"And, that implies how, Sir Faba?" Doug inquired in confusion.
"As Team Leader, I must be the one to carry that weight, to ensure that everything I've done on my part since I've turned over a new leaf for Alola's protection under your daughter and the Power Rangers has not gone to waste. I'll be relying on you just as you'll do the same for me, knowing what's at stake for all of us."
Nikki and James rolled their eyes while Kukui and Burnet but everyone was amused by this slightly new mature change in Faba as Kukui and the Alolan Royal Family left to join him.
Before long, the heroes arrived at a mountain slope where Lunala would use her power to open a new Ultra Wormhole which is a potential gateway to Poipole's homeworld in Ultra Space as the older Moone Pokemon roared loudly and transformed into her Radiant Moon form. Nebula did the same as she prepared to help open the Ultra Wormhole but with Sarah's help as she summoned her Lunalium Z for her human mother to use for her and Lunala.
"This is the spot where Ultra Wormhole will be opened upon my and Nebula's combined power through Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom," Lunala explained to the heroes. "If Poipole recalls correctly, this is where she first appeared to find help once word got around that her kingdom is dying without Necrozma's light."
"She's not wrong, I did intentionally come here as per Mother's orders to find somehow who can help us restore my guardian and his light and save our kingdom," Poipole nodded.
"This is it, Mama! This is where everything starts including our rescue mission to save Big Brother Nebby!" Nebula called to Sarah.
Lunala nodded as she turned to Sarah, "Are you ready, Princess?"
Sarah nodded as she showed her Z-Power Ring housing Nebula's Lunalium Z, "Yes."
Solgaleo then turned his attention to the princess as he inquired, "Do you remember the Ghost Type Z-Move poses required for Menacing Moonraze Malestrom?"
"Yep, practiced them ever since I got Mai along with the Ghostium Z and Mimikium Z by Totem Mimikyu. But, I sure wish he, Mai, the Cat Pack, and the Dragonstone Patrol know what they're doing since they're staying behind to help the Kahunas deal with the Ultra Pillars that came back last night."
"I'm sure they're fine, Sarah. They'll be holding down the fort this way and they'll help Hala, Olivia, Nanu, and Hapu keep an eye on Alola until we get back," smiled Lillie reassuringly.
"We all have to take risks to save Alola and rescue Nebby. What they'll be doing will be no different," added Gladion, nodding at Sarah.
Sarah nodded at her best friend and her brother before she steeled herself as she stood up, transferred herself for a moment to Nebby's carriage as she then stood on top of it with Winter's help, activated her Z-Power Ring as soon as Nebula and Lunala got into position, and performed the exact poses needed for her to unleash Lunala and Nebula's Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom. Thus, after this and she and the others make for Ultra Space, she'll effectively be leaving Alola and its safety for a time to her family and the others staying behind with them.
"Spirits of the worlds beyond and ages past, rise from thy slumber and awaken your power to help Lunala and my Nebula cross over from our world to another!" she recited as she transferred her Z-Power to Nebula and Lunala and split it between the two Moone Pokemon as Nebula changed into her own Radiant Moone Form, surprising and shocking everybody as they watched. "Open thy gates beyond dimensions, now! Use Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom!"
As Lunala opened a new Ultra Wormhole via a bright light, Nebula charged up six lasers from her wings before firing at the light to open the Ultra Wormhole they needed to go through, big and powerful enough for everybody gathered to go through and reach Poipole's home.
"It's open!" Mallow said, impressed.
"Now's our chance, we have to get inside the Ultra Wormhole before it closes and before those human menaces from earlier catch up to us! This will take us straight to Poipole's kingdom!" Lunala replied.
"Brace yourselves, this journey through the Ultra Wormhole to the child's homeworld will be bumpy! Away!" Solgaleo shouted as he and Lunala lead the entire group through the Ultra Wormhole, all of them staying together so none of them get left behind along the way.
"Lusamine, we're heading inside the Ultra Wormhole now," Ash reported to Lusamine via his Wrist Com.
"Good. Once you've restored Poipole's kingdom and rescued Nebby, report back immediately," she nodded.
"Right!" the group agreed, all of them flying inside the Ultra Wormhole as they kept a close pace with Nebula and her brother's creators (as she followed them soon after they entered the Ultra Wormhole first).
"Something's wrong! All of our communications had been cut off just now!" Wicke announced, surprising Burnet and Lusamine.
"Can you reestablish audio to amplify our connection to the kids hone in on their Wrist Coms?" Burnet suggested as Wicke agreed and got to work to the best of her technical prowess.
"Trying my best!"
"Through here!"
"Follow us!" Lunala and Solgaleo called to everyone as they led the way inside the Ultra Wormhole with Nebula keeping pace with them easily despite being so young of a Moone Pokemon herself.
As they went along, the gang, Gladion, Sarah, Race, and their families stayed close to the trio, doing their best to stay together and not get lost along the way to Poipole's kingdom. Throughout the quick journey, however, the Viking Teens and their Pokemon riding with them couldn't help but marvel at all of the colors around them, once again realizing how small the world they once used to live in truly was compared to what they're seeing, especially between dimensions and other worlds they had no idea about before meeting Sarah and her family the previous year.
Meanwhile, the Matori Matrix's airship, still camouflaged and undetected as far as they can tell, had picked up signs of the Ultra Wormhole the heroes went through and they were eager to finish what they stated as well once they get to it and cross over to Poipole's kingdom (even if they had absolutely no idea if it will even be at the other end of the Ultra Wormhole should they enter).
"There it is, Leader. We'll soon be arriving at the projected coordinates," one of the grunts alerted Matori as they saw the Ultra Wormhole coming into view.
"I've been waiting for this chance," Matori replied.
"Hmm, indeed," her Alolan Meowth agreed with a smirk, slyly purring.
"Entering the Ultra Wormhole n-UGH!" Gozu reported just before the airship was struck hard by Kukui's Braviary, having been released to deal the first blows on their craft and causing its cloaking feature to malfunction.
"What happened?!" Matori demanded, slightly flustered.
"Attack at nine o'clock, M'am! Something or somebody's breached us just now!" one of the grunts reported
"Grrrr! Just stay on course and don't lose sight of the Ultra Wormhole before it closes!"
"Leader, we can't enter the Ultra Wormhole without being attacked! Whatever or whoever's attacking us found out about our mission and is determined to make sure we don't enter it at all costs!" Gozu reminded, causing his superior to growl in frustration and disgruntlement as he ordered, "Quick, evasive action! Fire damage control! Do whatever you can to prevent the ship from being grounded and find out who or what is attacking us!"
"Hard to port!"
"Damage control on those fires!" two other grunts concurred, doing their best to steady the airship.
"Several heat signatures are being found on the mountain slope, dead ahead! And-WAAAAHH! Madam, Gozu, I'm patching the video feed through on the mountain slope! We got a real royal problem!" a third grunt cried in shock.
"Who or what have you got?"
"It's them!" the grunt patched the video feed they were getting on their attackers and to their shock, there stood Faba, Kukui, and Sarah's real family with the Tomoe Squad along with Phoe-Phoe, Fritter (riding on Persian's back) Mercuur, Absol, Xatu, Togepi, Whimsicott, Oliver, and Mae Ling, causing Gozu and Matori to cry out in shock and angered disbelief.
"No! The Last Alolan Royal Family, how did they know we'd be after the Ultra Beasts and the princess?!" Matori snarled.
"The royal pests must've seen us trying to ambush them last night and decided to go and attack us knowing we'd be after them again today! Their Pokemon and that stupid bird tag-teaming them will be all over us," Gozu seethed.
"Good job, Braviary," Kukui praised his partner before he eyed the Matori Matrix. "Hey! I know you can hear me! You're the Matori Matrix, correct?"
"You will not interfere with the Power Rangers!"
"Nor will you hurt our daughter and our family again!"
"You've made a grave mistake with your transgressions against us and the people that watch over us all! And, now, we're about to show you what happens when you cross that very line with us!" Doug warned.
Matori snarled again; she had been expecting and was ready for some interference from someone who'd pose a threat to them besides the Power Rangers but never did she expect herself and her team to tango with the Alolan Royal Family themselves let alone the last king and queen and their royal advisor along with two others whom she'd consider as nothing but flies.
"How dare you, I'll see that you'll regret messing with the Matori Matrix! Blow them away and make for the Ultra Wormhole, stat!"
Complying to her orders, the grunts driving the airship drove it lower to the ground as the propellers whipped up the air around them, causing high speed winds that threatened to lift the heroes off their feet and blow them away.
"Braviary, use Rock Slide!"
"Persian, use your Shadow Ball!"
"Alakazam, Shadow Ball! And, Hypno, Psychic!" Faba, Delilah, and Kukui called, their chosen Pokemon firing their attacks on the airship and causing it to go unbalanced, threatening to crash it even though Hypno, Alakazam, and Braviary were whomping them hard and Persian didn't show her full power yet (wanting her and her partner to egg Matori and her agents on before they and their family would unleash their true strength).
"They're really grinding my gears with their insolence! Take care of them and send them to the graveyard, Gozu!" Matori snapped to her right hand.
"Oh, don't worry, boss! I don't need orders for that! Gozu barked back to his leader as he stood up and ordered, "Ready battle stations and counterattack!"
Back to the heroes; with Nebula, Solgaleo, and Lunala leading the way, the heroes finally reached the other side of the Ultra Wormhole Poipole went through to cross over to Alola. What was seen before them was the very thing they hoped they didn't have to see for themselves, a sight that is truly not for the faint-hearted. Poipole's homeworld, as per her previous words and explanations about it in its current state, is indeed nothing but a barren, black, eerily quiet, dull, and desolate wasteland that's only covered with canyons around them from below.
"Uh-oh!"
"What?!" gasped Pikachu and Ash, not expecting what they saw before them and the others.
"Where are we?" Gladion inquired, stunned.
"This is it! We've arrived at my homeworld, my kingdom," Poipole answered as she floated to Sarah and Winter along with Nebula (who stayed behind with her family and her human mother while Solgaleo and Lunala went on ahead). "This area is part of my family's kingdom in Ultra Space called Poipole Canyon. Before everything that happened over 500 years ago, it was a peaceful and happy place whenever we've Necrozma's light."
"Is it?" Sarah asked Poipole, the little Ultra Beast nodding and smiling brightly at her human caretaker understanding her explanation before the princess turned to Zossie and Dulse. "Zossie, Dulse! Is this place really Poipole's kingdom?"
"That's it, princess; this is what's left of Poipole and her mother's kingdom. Without Necrozma's light to keep them and their home sustained, this is what lies before you now," Dulse nodded gravely.
"The place is growing weaker the more it is deprived of Necrozma's light. Even if Poipole's people are all getting on okay now, they're on the verge of extinction without the Blinding One's light. Without Poipole's guardian, this kingdom will cease to exist," Zossie added.
"Sarah, look! Lunala and Solgaleo are flying out of sight!" Gladion reminded, pointing Sarah to Lunala and Solgaleo leaving them behind.
"Okay! Let's hurry, we can't lose them or we'll never get-!"
"DANGER!" cried Rotom-Dex, alerting the heroes to what looked like a powerful Venoshock attack coming towards them from within the darkness of the canyons below.
"Scatter!" the little princess screamed, the heroes forcing themselves to split up before any of them could be hit.
"Yo! What's the big deal!?"
"What was that?!"
"That's a Venoshock attack!"
"But, who's attacking us right now?"
"Nobody else besides Lunala and Solgaleo let alone Poipole would know we'd be here!"
"Or better yet, who dialed somebody in on our port of call?" Thunder, Zorya, Nova, Starfire (Stormcutter), Melody, and Hurricane bantered in shocked confusion over who their attackers are.
"Forget pinpointing the culprits until we drag them out into the open!"
"Incoming Venoshock assault!" Mist and Spark shrieked as several more Venoshock attacks came at the heroes and forced them to dodge as best they could since they had no idea who'd be attacking them without warning and cut them off from Lunala and Solgaleo.
"Kiawe, with me! Full-throttle fire assault!" Sarah ordered her fellow Fire Type ranger as Winter and Shadow readied themselves along with Appa, Zorya, Cansu, Asra, Starlight, and Eclipse.
"Got it! Quick, Charizard, Flamethrower!" Kiawe nodded as he directed his Charizard to fire his strongest Fire Type attack at the perpetrators hidden from within the canyons' shadows that are attacking them.
"Shadow, Winter, Appa, Zorya, Cansu, Starlight, Asra, Eclipse, Plasma Barrage!" Sarah shouted, pointing to the canyon and allowing her Night Furies and Winter to unleash a flurry of plasma shots, both her and Kiawe's assaults halting their attackers full-stop and saving everybody from being disintegrated by the Venoshock assault.
Amidst the smoke and explosions, several groups of surprised and baffled Poipole (who are actually Poipole's subjects) appeared and they warily looked at the heroes.
"A bunch of Poipole!"
"Look there!" Ash and Pikachu noticed, seeing more groups of Poipole appearing and none of them looking too happy that some supposed, intruders were trespassing upon their lifeless kingdom.
"Over there!"
"Some more over there!" Lana and Sophocles cried out, seeing those groups as well as they carefully moved forward to where they were gathering.
"Big Bro, check it out! They're all okay! Nothing's changed too much thankfully since we left!"
"Princess Poipole's subjects! And, their nest; thank the light of the Ultra Pillars they're all safe! There's still time, let's find the queen!" Zossie and Dulse breathed in relief, seeing what looked to be a giant nest within the core of the canyons.
"Nebby! Big Brother! Are you there, you okay?" Nebula called out, hoping Nebby is alright and wanting to save him from Necrozma as soon as possible.
"Holy shields, it's been affected by the lack of Necrozma's light, too," gasped Zenna in silent shock, her jaw dropped at the sight of how barren Poipole's kingdom at its core is without Necrozma's light to provide her subjects life and happiness.
"Poipole..." Cyndaquil peeped as she and her Jungle Pokemon siblings looked out the windows of the carriage helplessly.
"Oh, man..."
"What a dump..." Tou-Tou and Sarah's Silvally blinked as they also watched from the carriage, trying not to draw the attention of Poipoile's subjects as they looked around at her kingdom while approaching the Poipole next.
"Check it out!"
"Is that a Poipole next?" Ash and Mallow noticed, seeing the next where Poipole and her subjects came from and resided.
"Power Rangers, welcome to Poipole Fantasy; this is the main kingdom belonging to our world's princess. And, mind her subjects; they care a great deal about her and especially her mother; aside from Poipole, Queen Naganadel is the figurehead in these parts so if we plan on helping them we sh-DAI!" Zossie introduced before she ducked to avoid a Venoshock attack.
"Attack/Get them/Fight!"
"Stop/Get back/Back off!"
"What are you all doing here?!"
"What have you done with our princess?"
"In the name of our fair princess and our beloved queen, unless you're a friend which you're clearly not, leave Poipole Fantasy at once!" some of the Poipole yelled, firing Venoshock at the heroes, Dulse, and Zossie, thinking they did something to their princess and were trying to get to their queen and harm her as intruders.
"RUN, EVERYBODY!" Nebula screamed in panicked shock, everybody being forced once again to dodge left, right, up, and down to avoid the renewed Venoshock assault Poipole's subjects were unleashing upon them.
"Not the best time for intros between us and them, huh?!" Zenna cried in alarm.
"Try telling them 'we come in peace', then, Sister!" remarked Stryka sarcastically.
"You really think that kind of movie talk would work on these powerhouse pints?!" Rocky (Shovelhelm) retorted frantically.
"Hey! Stop it already, gods!"
"Would you all chill out?!" Toothless and Hookfang barked at the Poipole attacking them.
"Geez, what kind of Beedrills buzzed up their boxers?" Tyson remarked.
"Oh, probably the simple fact that we're not only strangers to the whole lot but also, they think we're intruders since we're very much TRESPASSING ON THEIR OWN PRIVATE PROPERTY AND LAND, YOU LUMBERING APE!" argued Sarah's Silvally to the Infernape's face.
"You pint-sized and thick-headed runts are starting to bug me!" Eternatus roared in annoyance, finally resorting to using Fly to break through their ranks and getting them to stop but only causing them to become more protective of their home and queen as they ramped up their Venoshock assault on the heroes.
"Wait! Guys, stop! Please! It's okay, we don't mean you any harm! Look, it's fine! I, I don't want us to hurt you!"
"Stop it, we're not your enemies! We're just here to rescue our Solgaleo, Nebby!" Sarah and Ash pleaded frantically.
"I think it might be too late for us to convince them otherwise since they have every reason to think we're their enemies, Ash!" Dulse retorted, forcing Poipole to fly forward and calm her subjects down, thinking she can get through to them instead.
"No, Poipole!" Ash screamed, frantically worried for Poipole as she spoke to her people (who were shocked and surprised to see her finally back after so long).
"Stop it, everyone! Please! Don't hurt them, they're not our enemies; they're my friends and I came back with them to help! I, Princess Poipole, have returned to Poipole Fantasy with the help we desperately desired! The hope we needed is with me along with her friends and family and two of the Ultra Recon Squad's own members, Dulse and Zossie! The one with us all is the Sun Princess of Alola, Princess Sarah Tomoe, and she and everybody with her mean no harm! I promise you, they are here to help us save my mother and our home! They'll save Necrozma and restore his light, the light we needed to thrive in our world and be happy again! They may not seem much but I've seen goodness in them throughout the time I've spent with them, they are more than meets the eye! They are the hope we need to end our suffering, once and for all!"
Shocked and amazed yet also conflicted over everything they heard, her subjects then started to talk amongst themselves, debating what they should do with their princess' "guests", or as she puts it, her friends. They argued and bickered frantically as if they can't agree on what to do regarding their kingdom's supposed "trespassers" even if they have every right to be as cautious and suspicious of them given what they had to go through ever since Necrozma was sealed away and his light was lost.
Then, in the midst of their arguing, everybody saw what looked to be a large Ultra Beast/Pokemon with draconic and insectoid features appearing from the hive after sensing Poipole's presence and the battle that had been going on.
Its dark purple waist had a fuchsia stripe running down each side and shoulder along with a gray spike with each of its hands having three pink-purple claws. A dark purple stripe also ran down each side of its neck while connecting and forming a chest loop with the lower fuschia loop having a short downward extension in the middle. Its long head also had a spike crest on top and along both sides of its mouth, a pair of curved gray spikes acted as its mandibles.
A glow came from its only cyan eye that looked more like a visor and it had a fuchsia rim around it along with a spikey crest on either side to complete the appearance, looking worn out and tired. Light blue wings mainly sprouted from its back while having a single fuchsia claw at its joints, two spikes along the wing arm, and membranes of a darker purple shade with fuchsia markings near the spikes. Its lower half resembled the abdomen of a swollen wasp which was covered in stripes of light and dark shades of purple with three gray and fuchsia-marked hallow stingers at the tip (the largest amid the center and two smaller ones on either side).
The creature saw Poipole and her subjects frantically bickering amongst themselves along with the heroes waiting in front of them and within the premise of their hive and cried out to everyone gathered, "SILENCE!"
"Mommy!" Poipole gasped, relieved to see the Ultra Beast that is actually her mother, Queen Naganadel, once she had quietened their subjects.
The heroes gasped in surprise as Mallow commented, "Something really big just appeared from within the hive!"
"No data, NO DATA!" shrieked a flustered Rotom-Dex, not finding anything on Poipole's mother in his databanks.
"Mother, I did it! I've completed my mission; I found the hope we needed to save our home! I did, I did, I did!"
"Hey, guys, if that's an Ultra Beast, it looks like Poipole! By its color and shape!" Lana observed in realization, carefully looking between Naganadel and Poipole.
"That's right. May Zossie and I present: Poipole's mother, Queen Naganadel!"
"The ruling head of Poipole Fantasy and our squad's closest ally and friend," Dulse and Zossie introduced, directing everyone to the queen of Poipole's kingdom.
"No way! Is that true, so Poipole IS a princess of this world just as Sarah's the princess of our world!"
"For real?!" Ash and Pikachu gasped in wonder.
"That's why everybody here called Poipole, 'Princess', Ash. All these Poipole living here in Poipole Fantasy must be awfully worried for her and I have a feeling they didn't have any word from her prior to coming back here that she was searching for the help she needs for her kingdom and Ultra Space. I think she spent so much time with us in our world that she must've lost track of time and periodically forgot about her mission until the time we met Mina and her Ribombee when she started to express her thoughts and told my family and I why she initially came here through her drawings," Sarah replied.
"...Daughter, good," Naganadel sighed peacefully before she suddenly fell to the ground, shocking everyone and horrifying her daughter.
"MOM! No, Mom, no! You can't die! Not yet! We have our hope, the help we needed to save this world! Get up, wake up! Please, get up!" Poipole called frantically as she flew and flailed around Naganadel, fearing that her mother's time was already running out.
"Queen Naganadel!" cried a voice from within the cave Naganadel exited, revealing two more members of the Ultra Recon Squad, Phyco, and another woman joining him while holding a first-aid kit while surprising Dulse and Zossie. "Soliera, your kit! Hurry!"
"Your Highness, wake up! Please, wake up! Oh, I knew this would happen! You haven't fully recovered yet! I warned you to stay inside and recover your strength before you do something as rash as this!" the woman, Soliera, fretted as she got to work healing her.
"Hey, boss! Soliera!" Zossie called, recognizing the two members.
"Dulse, Zossie! Perfect timing, you and the princess got back just in time and with the help we all need! Hurry, Soliera and I don't know how much time the queen has left!" Phyco called back as Dulse and Zossie joined their superiors to help them with Mist and Spark bringing them over given the severity of the situation.
"Let's go!" Ash commanded just as Reshiram and the others made their way to Naganadel to help her, the Vast White Pokemon and Varokuna coming over to the elderly Pokemon and gently supporting her.
"Ash, Sarah, wait! We're running out of time; if we don't leave now, we're going to lose Lunala and Solgaleo! They may know where Nebby and Necrozma are so we have to get going! We need to focus on them first before we can help Queen Naganadel!" Gladion reminded, stopping Ash and Sarah as they inched forward and knowing that there isn't much time for Nebby since the heroes came to Ultra Space primarily to rescue Nebby and save Necrozma.
"But, we have to help the Ultra Recon Squad save the queen now!" Ash retorted, following his heart as he joined the others.
"I know how you feel, Gladion. But, given that our fates are all tied together at this rate and the possibility that Poipole's mother may know how we can stop this crisis one way or another, we have to take our chances! We need every option we have on us to save everybody involved including ourselves," Sarah reassured her friend.
It was then that Nebula remembered what she promised to do with Solgaleo and she gasped before turning to her human mother, "Mama, I promised to do something with Mr. Solgaleo which could help us save Big Brother! I have to go meet him and Lunala!"
Sarah nodded, knowing that they'll need every solution they have to rescue Nebby and Stop Necrozma so as to save Ultra Space in turn. "Go! But, be careful and stick with them at all times!" she ordered with a nod, allowing her Lunala to rejoin her brother's creators before she and Gladion went to help Naganadel as well.
Back at Alola in the heroes' world, in the Command Center, Burnet was already hard at work trying to decode the ancient writing found on the mural depicting Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma as she looked through all the books they have on them concerning the old legend and any other ancient stories that could be tied to the legend involving the Light Trio. As she was working, Lusamine came over to see how she was progressing with her research that could help the rangers and everyone with them on their task.
"Have you gotten a handle on it?" she questioned her friend.
"Hmm, this won't be so easy to figure out," Burnet admitted as she looked through one of the books.
"That ancient mural we've uncovered at the Altar of the Sunne should have a hint about Necrozma's revival the first time, right?"
"Yeah, if we find it, we might just figure out a way to help the kids save Nebby as well as Poipole's world."
Returning to Poipole Fantasy in Ultra Space, once they, Reshiram, Varokuna, and the Ultra Recon Squad had gotten Poipole's mother back inside the hive and onto something that appears to be her and Poipole's throne, the heroes set to work on helping their allies determine Naganadel's current condition and treating her as best they can with her and Poipole's subjects watching anxiously.
Joining them from Sarah and Race's Fantastic Beasts suitcases, the Niffler Quartet, Felix, Cosmo, Bubble, Lyla, Blueberry, Fluffy, Poof, Minerva, Asmodeus, Nagini, and Severus along with Prryah and Avel kept vigilance over her with the younger beasts and Avel nuzzling the exhausted and weak Ultra Beast Queen to help her wake up but to no avail.
With Soliera's help and with the Ultra Rescue Rangers' own first-aid kit at hand, Kiawe carefully looked all over Naganadel but he couldn't figure out what was wrong with her, "I can't make out anything physically wrong with the queen; her pulse is still strong but she seems totally worn out even for a Pokemon or Ultra Beast such as her."
"That's the unfortunate part, Young Kiawe," Phyco lamented (after he and Soliera had been introduced to the heroes and were told everything, much to their relief and satisfaction). "Naganadel has been ruling her kingdom for centuries and she's handled herself along with her daughter and their subjects well. But as was the case with all creatures including Pokemon, not even Ultra Beasts are eternal."
"We don't know how much time she has until she passes but hopefully, it'll won't be long. Just to give us all enough time to figure out how to save Ultra Space and restore the kingdom's lifeblood. All we can do now is hope and plan out what to do next with your help," added a solemn Soliera.
"That's a happy thought."
"That doesn't bode well given what we're in for."
"Poor Naganadel, no wonder she's not as strong as Poipole told us before," Aku, Callisto, and Sunce sighed.
"Mommy..." Poipole whimpered, devastated and close to tears at seeing how weak her mother had become; she was terrified of having to live in her kingdom without Naganadel living with her and guiding her in her duties while sharing the burden of ruling her kingdom and not having her see the ray of hope she found for their world in time and her mission complete.
Toothless and Stryka, seeing how broken Poipole was becoming, couldn't only offer sympathetic frowns between them as they went over to her and nuzzled her as best they could to try and cheer her up.
"It's okay, Poipole. Your mother's not going to die, she still has some fight left and I know she'll be proud of you once she sees us and you tell her everything that happened while you're in our world," Sarah soothed gently.
Mallow then offered some Sitrus Berries for her from the first-aid kit to the queen as she soothed, "These are some Sitrus Berries from our world, they can help you restore your energy. Whatever comes from them may not be much but they'll hold you out long enough until we save you all and our friend."
"Go ahead and eat them, Your Highness," Lana gently insisted, only for Naganadel to shy away from them slightly after eyeing them cautiously, worrying them and Lillie as they watched.
"Your Highness, please trust them. These kids and their friends and the princess and her family want to help us," Phyco urged.
"Please, Mother, it's okay. You must eat them, you need your strength. Please, do it for me," Poipole encouraged, getting her mother to open her mouth and accept the berries given to her.
"Here you go," Mallow smiled, tossing them inside and allowing Naganadel to eat them and regain some portion of her lost strength while Audino, Ponyta, Rapidash, and the Shaymin Siblings offered to use Heal Bell, Heal Pulse, and Aromatherapy to add to their kindness. "Well?"
"Do they taste good?" Lillie smiled as everybody noticed the Ultra Beast Queen managing to wake up and open her eyes after she had been treated, seeing the ones responsible for helping her.
"...Yes, I... Thank you for your kindness," she eventually spoke, surprising everybody barring her relieved subjects and the thankful Ultra Recon Squad. "My apologies for my weakened state. As you all know now, I am Queen Naganadel: Ruler of Poipole Fantasy."
She then turned to her daughter as she said to them and her in turn, "You already know of my daughter and the heir to my throne, Poipole. I thank you all for looking after her while she was in your world trying to complete my task for her. Speaking of which, I assume they were the ones you've been searching for, child? Especially, since I faintly heard you say that one of them is the Sun Princess of Alola."
"Yes, Mother, I did! This is Princess Sarah, she's the daughter of King Doug and Queen Delilah from over 500 years ago in her world," Poipole nodded, introducing Sarah to her mother as she floated next to her caretaker and smiled.
"Your Majesty," Sarah greeted, giving a curtsy to Poipole's mother in respect of the elderly queen.
"...I see. You kids mentioned to our subjects you all came here to rescue a Solgaleo, this 'Nebby' of yours, correct?"
"Yes, Your Highness, but we also came to Ultra Space to help you all when we were told everything by your daughter."
"Necrozma attacked our Solgaleo friend belonging to Sarah, Nebby, and absorbed his power after he protected all of us before escaping back here. He was also potentially after the light and Ultra Auras belonging to Sarah's Lunala, Nebula, in addition to Nebby's creators. We came to Ultra Space initially to find him and bring him home but to also stop Necrozma from threatening both our world and your own," Kiawe explained.
"If that's so, I have a simple request for you all but it's one I wish to tell you given your intentions. You see, our people, myself and Poipole included, require Necrozma's power so I ask that you kids and your allies leave Ultra Space for your own good and do nothing about him and your friend," Queen Naganadel replied immediately, much to everyone's shock as they gasped at how callous and heartless her request seemed.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Are you kiddin' me?!"
"Wait a minute! What are you saying?"
"Your Highness, that's madness!"
"You couldn't possibly ask us to abandon Nebby and Necrozma just like that!"
"How could you ask such a thing for us?"
"That's highly unlikely given what we're all up against!"
"We didn't come all this way to save Nebby just to be turned back at a whim for survival!"
"Your Majesty, please reconsider! Nebby is precious to all of us, especially to my mother! You must allow us to help you all stop Necrozma and save Nebby before we lose him forever!" Sarah's Silvally, Tou-Tou, Haze, Feathers, Star, Rama, Tyson, and Nyasi protested.
"Yeah! What about Nebby?!"
"We can't leave him with Necrozma, Your Highness!"
"He'll die if we don't help!" begged Shadow and Winter's Night Lights.
"But, if we go, then Nebby-!"
"How come?" Ash and Gladion replied.
"Dulse, Poipole, Zossie, and Sarah explained everything that happened to you and your kingdom to us. We'd really like to understand your side in all of this," Lillie offered, wanting to know the whole truth from the queen's perspective.
"Please, Mother! My friends have been a great help to me just as I am to them throughout my time with them. They promised to help us after we told them everything that happened to us, especially since I told the princess first and trusted her and her family beforehand. We're all in danger and Necrozma has become too much of a threat for us to do anything let alone nothing since he's got our friend. They came too far to give up now, you can trust them, Mother!" Poipole begged her mother.
"...You're right, Daughter. Very well, I will show you all what happened to us and this world," Naganadel agreed after a moment, conceding to Lillie and Poipole's requests.
Then, the queen used whatever power she had to show the heroes a vision of the past and explain through her memories everything that went down in their world before, during, and after Necrozma's initial downfall and sealing, leading to his return as best she could. The first vision she showed them was of her and Poipole's world as it used to be, a world filled with lush, bright flowers and sprawling grassy fields, filled with the brightest light that rivals that of the sun. The only other world in Ultra Space that flourished under the light once present was also in the futuristic city that is home to the Ultra Recon Squad, one that Dulse, Zossie, Phyco, and Soliera fondly remembered.
"Is this done by the queen's telepathy?" Kiawe questioned.
"No, how can that be?" Hiccup remarked.
"He's right, this looks more like a vision. We've been taken to the past, this must be before we saw Poipole Fantasy as it is now," Astrid implied in realization.
"All the flowers!" Lillie smiled.
"Hold on, Your Majesty, could your kingdom be-?" Mallow asked the queen.
"The queen is showing you a vision from the past. This is one of the first she's showing to you, a paradise that our world and Poipole Fantasy once was," Phyco explained, he and his fellow members having bittersweet and sentimental smiles on their faces as they looked around Poipole Fantasy's former state and the city they called home, overlooking the kingdom in the distance.
Everyone was shocked as Ash spoke out, "Really?!"
Queen Naganadel nodded as she told the heroes, "Yes, it is this world as my daughter, our subjects, and I once remembered from a time long past This world was once filled with the light pouring down from Necrozma. In ancient times, Necrozma's light shone brightly throughout the Ultra Wormholes in Ultra Space connecting us all to various worlds such as the homes of the Ultra Pillars and the home of the Ultra Recon Squad, Ultra Megalopolis, where the people of this world lived, and the Pokemon World, your world, primarily over the Alola Region."
The heroes were in awe of what they were seeing but they were also thrown for a loop as they saw Necrozma in his original form, his Ultra Form, shining his light down on the Poipole in Poipole Fantasy and Ultra Megalopolis as Ash remarked, "Is that Necrozma? He looks more like the Blinding One pictured in the mural inside the ruins behind the Altar of the Sunne."
"Then, it must be that the Blinding One, Necrozma, and the Black Beast are all the same creature and he was once the lifeblood of everybody living in Ultra Space including the Poipole here in Poipole Fantasy and Ultra Megalopolis," Virizion deducted.
"So, unlike with us in our world, all of the Poipole here and the people of Ultra Megalopolis referred to the Blinding One as Necrozma," Lillie smiled in awe before she turned to Poipole as she hovered next to her. "And, that means since you're royalty and your family is closely tied to Necrozma, he must be your guardian. Right, Poipole?"
"The one and only!" Poipole smiled brightly.
"Our home, Ultra Megalopolis, was also a world once filled with Necrozma's light. His light is the reason we all called him the Blinding One as you all do and he gave us the energy and life we needed to live. We were not the only ones who basked in his power for his light traveled to the distant world of Alola, your world, by passing through the Ultra Wormholes. The resulting light that the Totem Pokemon all emit in battle including your Totem Marowak, Totem Togedemaru, and Totem Vikavolt with you came from Necrozma himself," Soliera said to the heroes, directing them to the shocked Totem Marowak, Sonic, and Nitro.
"Our light and that of our Totem Brothers and Totem Sisters?"
"From Necrozma himself?"
"Fascinating," the three Totem Pokemon in question breathed in amazed shock, overlooking their bodies and thinking back to their battles and their fellow Totem Pokemon over why they were bigger and more powerful than an average Pokemon of their types and kinds.
The heroes were amazed as Mallow looked at the trio and told them, "So, that's why you three glowed whenever you're in battle! It must be because of Necrozma's light!"
"Sadly, what reigned down upon us was not a light of hope," continued Naganadel, her vision changing to the fateful day when Lothor initiated the Ultra Beast War and showing Necrozma's light being stolen by the cold-hearted ancestors of the Ultra Recon Squad through a device they created which turned him into the Black Beast everyone knew him as.
Dulse and Zossie winced in remembrance of their ancestors' terrible fall from grace while Soliera and Phyco sighed in regretful lamentation as Soliera quickly picked up where the queen left off, "Our ancestors relished in his power, and as time went on, they became monsters ruled by greed. They wanted to keep it for themselves and not share any of it with us, the Poipole, and the other Pokemon in our world. They caused Necrozma to lose a part of his body and he went mad because of it."
"That's Necrozma as he is now!" Ash realized, seeing Necrozma become the Blast Beast he is now because of Lothor and the Ultra Recon Squad's ancestors.
"But, that means when the Blinding One loses his light..."
"He became the Black Beast and he did so through human intervention via the ancestors of the Ultra Recon Squad and Lothor," Kiawe and Gladion muttered in realization as everybody saw Poipole Fantasy and Ultra Megalopolis losing Necrozma's light as the Ultra Beast War raged on.
"So, that means... The picture Poipole drew back home the day before yesterday represented what happened to Necrozma when he lost his light that day in your world," Rotom-Dex mentioned to the queen and the Ultra Recon Squad, showing Necrozma's insignia as drawn by Poipole and on the mural.
Phyco nodded in confirmation as he explained, "Necrozma can't control his own light in his broken form and this new power he obtained from it will only cause him more pain. We used the power of our own technology to quell his rage and pain as best we could just as we used it to try and provide our world with some form of light akin to his own. Because of Lothor and our ancestors, all of whom paid the price for their foolishness, we AND Necrozma suffered in the coming years, being lost to the darkness and living a life none of us wished for. The center of our once-fair city holes Megao Tower which produces an artificial light we've been using in the years since we've lost Necrozma."
"Necrozma protected this world but, after being sealed away by the Last King and Queen which ended the Ultra Beast War, wounded and without light, fell into a deep slumber. And, over time, in the 500 years he slept, the plants withered and the land became dry and barren like a desert. After that, all we could do was join together and live off of the remaining light that remained. My only choice was to seek out a place where we could all survive but I am old now and no longer possess the power I once had."
"Hey, that's me!"
"You're right! It's you, Poipole!" Poipole and Rotom-Dex noticed as the vision chanted to show Naganadel's daughter floating away from the hive.
"The Poipole you know, my daughter, went alone on a journey," Naganadel finished, looking to her daughter as she ended her vision and Poipole grinned.
"You don't have to worry now, Mother! Alola is a wonderful and fine place! People and Pokemon living together happily, lots of sun, surf, and sand, and the best part, lots of love and light, too!"
"I see. My daughter speaks that Alola is a fine place."
"Right, it's the best place! And, it's really peaceful since she and her family took their places back on the throne in Alola's old royal monarchy!" Ash nodded eagerly.
"I placed all my hopes in my daughter just as I was about to give up and at that moment, a new opportunity suddenly emerged," Nagandel noted as she showed the heroes another vision featuring Nebby's creators appearing in Poipole Fantasy.
"Solgaleo!"
"Lunala!"
"Is this from when Necrozma finally reawakened, Your Majesty?" Blitz asked Naganadel who nodded in confirmation.
"500 years had passed since he was sealed away in his mad state but now, Necrozma awoke from his slumber and broke the seal that bound him once before to absorb the light from these two, rebinding himself."
"Light, Necrozma?"
"Rebind himself?" Lillie and Gladion echoed.
"It could be possible that the light everybody here refers to is actually the Ultra Aura!" Rotom-Dex realized as the vision ended and they were returned to the throne room.
"Hmm... Alright, where exactly have I heard this story before?" Sophocles wondered.
"Right! I remember now, it's the story of the Blinding One," Lillie spoke up.
"So, if Necrozma keeps absorbing Nebby while he's Dusk Mane Necrozma... Nebby will die."
"And, if we free him too soon, Poipole's Kingdom and all of Ultra Space won't survive either," Tuffnut and Ruffnut stated, both of them now worried.
"Necrozma attacked Solgaleo, Nebby, Lunala, and Nebula since he needed their light to be revived and would be willing to plow through anyone to do so including all of us. And, that story's the reason why," Kiawe implied, recalling the story their Ice Type friend told everybody and realizing the implications behind it as Ash nodded in agreement.
"You do want Necrozma to be restored and revived to his old form so he can bring life back to all of you in Ultra Space, right, Your Highness?" Mallow inquired to Queen Naganadel.
"Of course," she confirmed.
"But, then, as Ruffnut and Tuffnut said, if we that happens and we don't act, Nebby will be lost forever and your world will be without Necrozma's light forever should things get worse," Gladion mentioned, knowing what could happen if everybody just sits back and does nothing.
"You're right! What'll happen to Nebby if we don't help him and bring back the real Necrozma the right way? We can't afford to lose him!" Sophocles gasped as the queen and Poipole watched on and listened.
"Guess we'll lose him at that point and he'll stay with him forever as Dusk Mane Necrozma just as Lunala nearly was with him being Dawn Wings Necrozma," Ash sighed sadly.
"And, that's not even the worst part; the Sun Sword is broken so Sarah and her family can't use it anymore to save him," Lana reminded everybody, catching the queen's interest.
"Sun Sword, damaged?" she echoed.
"The last Alolan Royal Family's first heirloom, destroyed?!"
"Inconceivable!" gasped a startled Soliera and Phyco.
"It's true, Phyco, Soliera."
"We witnessed the destruction of the sword firsthand," Dulse and Zossie confirmed.
"While he was attacking us for Nebby, Nebula, Solgaleo, and Lunala's light, Sarah went up against him with the Sun Sword but he was able to destroy it with his Metal Claw attack," Ash told the trio, bringing out a clothed item and unwrapping it to reveal the Sun Sword in its current broken form, shocking Phyco, Soliera, and the queen.
"We think the Xerneas Chest that was given to me and my family by the Legendary Tree under our home could be the answer to restoring it as well as its power to its former glory. But, as far as we know, I haven't been able to find the key to open it," Sarah added as she showed them the unopened Xerneas Chest.
Naganadel looked between the broken sword and the Xerneas Chest thoughtfully as she then told them, "Xerneas is known in your world as the Pokemon who gives life to any and all. Perhaps, in order for you to unlock the chest made for you by this Legendary Tree in her honor, you must seek out the Heart of Life."
"The Heart of Life?" Lillie echoed in confusion.
"Oh, great. More cryptic riddles, just what we don't need," groaned Sarah's Silvally, hating how cryptic Naganadel was being.
The heroes, the Ultra Recon Squad, and Poipole didn't have any more time to think about what Naganadel told them and where they should start because, at that moment, a loud boom was heard followed by a splintering crash from outside and within Poipole Fantasy. Everybody rushed out of the hive to find Dusk Mane Necrozma in combat against Nebula, Solgaleo, and Lunala, the older Moone Pokemon being knocked down to the ground just as the Prism Pokemon fired Prismatic Laser at her, forcing Solgaleo to ram into him and use Metal Claw and Nebula to use Air Slash after him.
"You leave my big brother alone!" Nebula roared.
"Your brother is mine! AND I WILL HAVE HIS LIGHT!" Necrozma sneered as Gladion jumped onto his Silvally, deciding to help the three Ultra Beasts fight and save Nebby.
"Silvally!" Gladion called to his Synthetic Pokemon, the two of them charging forward into the thick of the battle.
"Wait for us, Gladion! Come on, Silvally!"
"Don't leave me hanging! Tou-Tou!" Sarah and Race cried to their Pokemon.
"Right, Mother/Got it!" Sarah's Silvally and Tou-Tou agreed as they joined together and followed suit.
"Gladion, Race, Sarah!" Ash shouted after all of them.
"Use Air Slash!"
"Hyper Beam!"
"Tri-Attack, go!" the three trainers cried, allowing all three Silvally to fire their chosen attacks and prevent Necrozma from killing Nebula with Metal Claw as everybody else gathered and saw Necrozma before them after they and Lunala managed to dodge Psycho Cut.
"Stop this madness, Necrozma! You're only doing more harm to not just Nebby but also everyone involved along with all of Ultra Space and Alola! Don't make us have to fight you!" Sarah pleaded, not wanting to kill Necrozma since she, Gladion, and Race along with their Silvally were forced to fight.
"After 500 years of being sealed away in this dark and barren prison, you think you can defeat me and wrench your little baby away from me?" Necrozma taunted to Sarah as she and her Silvally stepped forward, the princess continuing her pleas to him.
"My parents didn't have any other choice; you would've laid waste to Alola and Ultra Space because of what my uncle and Dulse and Zossie's ancestors and the Ultra Recon Squad of old had done to you had you been left unchecked and undefeated! Nobody would've survived the Ultra Beast War then had they not sealed you away for your own good and everyone else's despite what could happen after! You were too dangerous after you became the Black Beast!"
"Yes, and even after all I've done to protect the innocence of this world beforehand, humans were the reason I've become the monster I am now!"
"But-!" Sarah was soon cut off as Necrozma slammed his right paw forward and leered angrily at the heroes as he continued to rant.
"I'm no longer a crystal dummy bound to the strings of a puppetmaster like the ones that stole my light from me and left this world to rot because of their greed! You got your freedom for the next 500 years but after those pathetic runts for humans were killed trying to control me and your 'uncle' was banished once more, I was to be released 500 years later at this time! Now, I'm free to do as I please!"
"If you didn't need my uncle, the ancestors of the Ultra Recon Squad, or some other sick jerk looking for your light and wanting to control you, what do you need Nebby's light for let alone Solgaleo, Nebula, and Lunala's?"
"Your Ultra Beasts' light and that of Solgaleo and Lunala and I were entwined together for eons to ensure the survival and prosperity of Ultra Space such as Poipole Fantasy and Ultra Megalopolis. Humans from that accursed city and Team Eclipse back then, however, chose to steal my light from them for themselves and forsake everybody else that needed it to satisfy their lust for it. I was broken when they used a machine to steal a part of me, sealed away after I went on a rampage, cast aside, abandoned... But now, I've returned to reclaim what is rightfully mine. With the light that I'll have from Solgaleo, Lunala, and your babies, as I'm doing with this one, I'll finally become the Blinding One again!"
"I'll never forgive you if you plan on killing my little Nebby to do it!" Sarah roared, shocking Naganadel as she now realized how truly important Nebby is to her and what it would mean for her if he was gone forever.
"You have no choice!" Necrozma finished with a furious sneer as he left to continue his spat with Nebula, Solgaleo, and Lunala while Gladion and his Silvally prepared to use Air Slash again.
"Gladion, Race, Sarah, don't do it!" Ash begged as he and Pikachu finally caught up with their friends and their Silvally, much to Gladion's anger and disgruntlement.
"If we don't do something about Necrozma and save Nebby now, Ash, then we'll lose him as well as Solgaleo, Lunala, and Nebula!" he rebutted in heated determination to the Kanto trainer.
"But, Gladion...!"
"And, eventually, if we fail both him and our intended mission, Alola and the rest of our world back home will be sunk into this darkness that all of Ultra Space, Ultra Megalopolis, and even Poipole Fantasy are trapped in! Is that what you want?!"
Ash was left speechless by the grim reality of what they were facing as Solgaleo, Lunala, and Nebula went ahead with Dusk Mane Necrozma pursuing them, the three Ultra Beasts pulling him away from Poipole Fantasy and the heroes so as to safeguard them, Poipole's subjects, Queen Naganadel, and the Ultra Recon Squad so they'd be safe from harm.
He thought for a moment before he admitted with determination, "No, it's not, I'll admit that. I don't like it as much as you don't and I understand but still, if we chase Necrozma off and we don't help him, there's no more hope for Poipole's world or Ultra Megalopolis! If defeating Necrozma means sacrificing both worlds just to ensure justice, then that's not what I want to do and I don't want to be right. You want to know what we should do and what we want out of all of this, I want to save them all and you can't stop me!"
"You want to save them all?" Gladion echoed in stunned confusion.
"Gladion, I think Ash is right. I agree with him," Lillie spoke up, knowing what Ash meant.
"I do, too," Kiawe concurred as everyone else on the heroes' side including Poipole nodded in agreement.
"Gladion, it's true that we're stuck between a rock and a hard place but it's not just Alola and our world at risk. My uncle and Dulse and Zossie's ancestors were responsible for all of this and Poipole came from Poipole Fantasy to find the miracle she needs to help her save her kingdom, her subjects, and her mother and that miracle is us, all of us," Sarah reassured as she and her Silvally rejoined them.
"All of us, in some way, played a part in this, Gladion. Our world, Ultra Space, Poipole Fantasy, and Ultra Megalopolis had been intertwined since the Ultra Beast War and we've been destined to right the wrongs that had been made in the past since this mess began," Race agreed. "This is no longer about us and Alola alone but everyone involved; we all deserve a brighter future, to celebrate it together, heart in heart, and hand in hand."
Gladion could see how serious everybody is about what they should really do regarding the situation, and realizing that they had a point, conceded as he asked them, "Right. How do we do that, then?"
Everybody thought for a moment until Ash thought back to everything that happened and theorized, "Necrozma needs more Ultra Aura Power after he had his light stolen from him years ago and came to our world last night after waking up needing more of it. Because of that, he's trying to absorb Nebby, Lunala, Nebula, and Solgaleo. But, that's only because he was really hungry."
"Really, that's all you can come up with regarding his stomach?"
"Come on, Ash, this is no time to think about food!"
"So, what? I mean, come on, you want to share something with Necrozma while he's power-hungry?"
"With what? Be serious," Snotlout, Astrid, Tuffnut, and Ruffnut bantered to the Kanto trainer, their inquiries causing Ash to gasp and remember when he and everybody else shared their lunches with Sophocles, Togedemaru, and Vikavolt.
"Hey, you're right, we'll help! You see, Gladion, being hungry isn't Fun-fisk, Funky, no, Mantine! You see?"
"Oh, not again!"
"Weak!" groaned Blitz and Sarah's Shaymin in exasperation from Ash repeating his Pokemon Pun as Gladion balked at the Kanto trainer in response.
"Lame!" the baby Jungle Pokemon grumbled, not finding Ash's Pokemon Pun funny twice even though they understood what he meant by it.
"Uncle Ash, will you please stop with your Pokemon Puns? They're almost physically hurting me and they're worse than Principal Oak's puns even if we got the meaning behind that one!" whined Star as she held her head and groaned, not wanting to hear another Pokemon Pun again as Ash comically faltered.
"I get it, you're saying 'Manalo' and 'Alola'," Kiawe smiled, remembering what they learned prior.
"W-What are you talking about?" Gladion inquired, not understanding what was being said at the moment as he sweatdropped in confusion.
"'Alola' means 'sharing'."
"And, 'Manalo' means 'everyone lives together in peace and harmony'. You see, Gladion?" Lana and Mallow clarified.
"Sharing, sharing what?"
"Sharing something like, in Nebby, Nebula, Lunala, Solgaleo, and Necrozma's case, power," Lana replied.
"Right, Z-Power!" Sophocles added knowingly.
Rotom-Dex gasped as he also remembered, "That's right! Before we left home and came to Ultra Space, Professor Burnet did say that there was some sort of hidden connection between Z-Power and Ultra Aura Power!"
"In other words, if we share our Z-Power with Necrozma, we can all live together in harmony again!" Lillie concurred.
"Of course! Necrozma only lost his light because Dulse and Zossie's ancestors and Lothor only thought about themselves when they stole it from him and they threw all of our worlds into chaos during the Ultra Beast War. The peace fractured for everyone in Ultra Space for the next 500 years since he was sealed away as a result and it happened to us when he finally awakened from his slumber and started attacking Nebby, Solgaleo, Nebula, and Lunala!"
"And, if our own light through our Z-Power is given to Necrozma, we can free Nebby and restore him back to his true form as the Blinding One without killing him!" Sarah and Race added, seeing what the others are getting at and smiling brightly at them.
"You know, that's actually a fairly convincing argument. But, it'll be nothing but a dud, really," Eterantus remarked, doubting the gang's game plan for Necrozma.
"That's it, then!"
"Let's do it!" Lana and Kiawe smiled as everyone else agreed, now knowing what they should really do to save everyone and all their worlds.
"Gladion?" Ash pleaded to Gladion as he remained silent but then nodded determinedly as he got off his Silvally and agreed, telling everybody, "I get it."
"I guess you've come a long way ever since we became rangers and you-my bodyguards, right, guys?" Sarah thought, smiling softly and proudly at all her friends.
Back in Alola, realizing that they weren't getting anywhere with the resistance their enemies were putting up and the fact that time was running out before the Ultra Wormhole closes, the Matori Matrix finally decided to settle the battle they were having with Kukui, Faba, and the Alolan Royal Family face to face.
"Alright, there they are. You'll never get to the other side of the Ultra Wormhole!" Kukui vowed with righteous fury at the Matori Matrix.
"Not while we're standing!" Donna (former queen) added, glaring at her family, Solgaleo, and Lunala's attackers from Team Rocket.
"Just give up!" Faba concurred.
"We don't want to destroy you so clear out and stay away from our home if you know what's good for you!" Doug warned as all the heroes' Pokemon braced themselves for another round.
"Hmm, trying to make fools out of us with the help of some lowlives, Your Majesties?" taunted Gozu as he smirked.
"Living with what you call 'lowlives' is much better than being with monsters such as you all! Alola is a place for everyone with a heart and who'd be willing to live in and share it and its treasures, humans and Pokemon alike! You're all trespassing with your despicable notions for power!"
"Our home is everyone's home but it never will be home to the likes of you fools!" David and Delilah spat back.
"What was that?!"
"I'll fix you-!" two grunts snarled before Gozu stopped them and brought out a Pokeball of his own as he stepped forward.
"Hold on, I got this. You just leave them to me, here goes!" he sneered, smirking as he threw the Pokeball and summoned an Aggron that had something on its forehead which was a Mega Stone called an Aggronite.
"It's an Aggron!" Kukui gasped, recognizing the Pokemon.
"But, what's that sticking out of its forehead?" David questioned, seeing the Aggronite.
"This is the beginning of your end! The way I see it, the fun is only just beginning!" Gozu snarled, revealing a Keystone on a dog tag he was wearing and activating its power.
"Is that-?!" Delilah gawked in shock as she saw the same power Sarah and her Pokemon that have Mega Stones on them had in conjunction with her Keystone being used against them.
"If you royal sleeping beauties need a refresher, here's a hint: Evolution beyond evolution!" sneered Gozu again as the evil Iron Armor Pokemon Mega-Evolved into Mega Aggron.
"Mega-Evolution," Kukui and Faba growled, bracing themselves for a powerful brawl.
"Aggron, Heavy Slam!" By Gozu's orders, Mega Aggron used its Heavy Slam attack as he coated himself with energy and jumped into the air before dropping down on the heroes' Pokemon.
"Look out!"
"Flicka, Flipper, use Teleport!" David and Donna (former queen) shouted in alarm, having the Orcrown mates use Teleport to teleport the Pokemon (the Alolan Royal Family's Pokemon) within range of their combined attack out of the way.
Faba's Hypno and Alakazam and Kukui's Braviary, however, weren't so lucky as Aggron slammed into them, too fast for them to dodge, causing them to be knocked out from the attack and shocking the pair as they realized they and their Pokemon won't be able to fight anymore for the rest of the battle. This also meant that the Alolan Royal Family was the only last line of defense between the Matori Matrix and the Ultra Wormhole, all of them growling with hatred for the Team Rocket agents before them as they (along with Phoe-Phoe) prepared to take on Gozu's Mega Aggron by themselves.
"Braviary!"
"Alakazam, Hypno!" cried Kukui and Faba to the three wounded Pokemon.
As the battle was playing out, Jessie, James, Meowth, and Wobbuffet were watching them from above on their Meowth Balloon.
"Gee-whiz, those royals sure know how to rock and roll, don't they?" Meowth admitted.
"They'll definitely put up more of a fight compared to those scientists," Jessie replied.
"So, what are we supposed to do? It appears to have absorbed the royal twerpette's ultra-rare Solgaleo and took it through an Ultra Wormhole," James reminded.
"Duh, don't you remember? Her Lunala baby, Lunala itself, Solgaleo, and those dingy twerps including those Viking twerps with them."
"Right! And, that means, everything we could ever want is right inside that Ultra Wormhole and on the other side of it, where we'll catch them, of course."
"Jessie, you don't actually mean you want to enter the Ultra Wormhole over there?"
"That would be quite a fright but one that's worth all the prizes we'll be taking for the boss if we go for it."
"Hmm?"
"Things do go in it but they don't always come out."
"Then, what do you suggest?"
"While everybody's busy down below, we'll lie in wait from above for the twerps and when they come back out, we'll grab them and everything else for ourselves."
"Wow! What you always said is true, Jessie! You're always extending your reach to the stars above!"
"A lovely and charming villain or two is in the house!"
"That's right!" Wobbuffet finished in agreement as the trio agreed to their own plan after finishing their banter, eager to finally have the success they were looking for and prove their worth to Giovanni.
With Lusamine, Wicke, and Burnet, Kukui's wife was finally able to decode the entirety of the ancient writing from the mural in the ruins behind the Altar of the Sunne and the prophecy Sarah found in the Ultra Recon Squad's cave in Akala Island as she called ecstatically from underneath her book pile, "Yes! I did it! I got it, Lusamine! YAY!"
"You figured it out?!" Lusamine asked, now as ecstatic as her friend is.
"Yes! After piecing everything together from the legend on the mural and the prophecy, it all makes sense! Necrozma is the Blinding One after he lost his light, they're both one and the same!"
"Uh... And, what does that mean?"
Burnet became serious as she began to recap everything she finally uncovered from her research, the prophecy, and the legend so they'd understand what the prophecy and the legend put together meant, "Let me read it, 'The Blinding One lost all of its light, engulfed in darkness and darkness spread once more, even in Alola. Up until then, people and Pokemon enjoyed the light the Blinding Once shared. But now, for the first time, they begin to contemplate the sharing of their own with the Blinding one'."
"Sharing of their own?" Lusamine echoed, slowly getting what Burnet discovered as she continued reading.
"'The Sun made flesh and the Moon made flesh appeared so people and Pokemon offered up their appeals when they did. Those appeals found their way to the Blinding One and the light returned. Then, Alola returned to being a beautiful land'.'
Lusamine remained silent as Burnet then recapped the prophecy, "Combined with the legend, the prophecy stated what happens years later when Necrozma reawakens and breaks from the seal Doug and Delilah placed on him, 'On that fated day, when the Black Beast of the Ultra Dimension reappears to swallow the Light of Alola, the fated heroine, her Pokemon, and everyone she loves will rise up against the darkness and use her heart and the Blade of the Sun Lion to restore life to its heart. The light will expire if the beast runs rampant or allows a being with a black heart to take control. But, if exposed to the light from the goodness and love of the heroine's heart, all shall be saved'."
Lusamine gasped as she then asked, "So, there was another legend in addition to the one my father told me?"
"Yes. The Sun and Moon made flesh i.e. Solgaleo and Lunala, Nebby's own creators, were not the only ones who once shared their light with Necrozma. People and Pokemon back then did, too. The prophecy Sarah found almost two years ago alluded to not just her but everyone else sharing their light with Necrozma, our region's own princess being the trigger for all of it. It told of Sarah using all of her own light and love combined with the love and light of everyone else to restore the light he once lost over 500 years ago. We've got to get all of this to the rangers, at once!"
Returning to Poipole Fantasy in Ultra Space, the heroes braced themselves in using their Z-Moves as they got into position with their chosen Pokemon-Silvally, Pikachu, Pyroar, Primarina, Vikavolt, Snowy, Tsareena, Robbie, and Kommo-o-to share their Z-Power with the Black Beast and save Nebby while Dusk Mane Necrozma continued to fight against Nebula, Solgaleo, and Lunala. While Race, Gladion, and the others along with their Pokemon were standing behind them, Sarah and Kommo-o took the helm as they stood in front of them to lead the Z-Move charge.
"Okay, Necrozma! This is it, we're gonna fill you up with all of the Z-Power we can muster for you!"
"Lunala, Nebula, Solgaleo, get away from Necrozma now! We'll take it from here!" Ash and Gladion called.
"Please, hurry! You can trust them!" Poipole pleaded to the three Ultra Beasts, the two Moone Pokemon and the older Sunne Pokemon hearing Gladion and Poipole's warnings as they flew and jumped over to the Power Rangers Ultra Rescue.
"This is gonna take all of the Z-Power we have on us so we'd better morph into our ranger alter egos to ensure we have all the power on us we can give to Necrozma and bring him back as the Blinding One!" Sarah declared to her friends, Race, and Gladion.
"Right!" the others agreed.
"Let's go!" Gladion's Silvally agreed, surprising Ash when he noticed.
"Huh, you're not using Lycanroc?" Ash asked Gladion.
"Silvally and I had been training very hard and we've gotten to know each other as friends alongside Lycanroc, Noivern, Bones, and Umbreon. We're all growing as a team and a family, too," Gladion informed, getting Ash excited.
"Awesome!"
Sarah smiled warmly for Gladion and his Silvally (with Tou-Tou and Sarah's Silvally looking on proudly at their eldest brother as they stood by with their families) as she announced, "It's Morphin' Time!"
Joining his friends, sister, and teammates, Gladion activated his Wrist-Com's morpher, and along with them (as they brought out their keys), he brought out his Poke-X Key which was modeled after his Silvally as they all shouted and he activated his own Morpher, "Link to Morphin' Grid! HA!"
Soon, the gang and Race morphed into their ranger alter egos and Gladion was now in a ranger suit akin to those worn by his friends and little sister modeled after their Pokemon (his suit being modeled after his Silvally, further demonstrating the bond that had grown between the two) and they all stood ready to complete their greatest task yet. If somebody noticed something peculiar between them, their new lineup (given the addition of Gladion) ended up forming a subtle parallel to a peculiar (nine-man-main-core-hero) Super Sentai team.
"Rangers Forever, Defenders Together! Power Rangers Ultra Rescue!"
"Alright, guys, this is our chance to restore Necrozma's light, restore light to everyone and all of our worlds, and rescue Nebby! Now, let's give it everything we got, draw your power from the love and light within your hearts and for everyone you know and care for! Our love, our friendship, our passion for the worlds we share and live in, the people and Pokemon we met, let it all flow through you and shine a ray of hope for the future of Ultra Space, for Ultra Megalopolis, Alola, Poipole Fantasy! FOR EVERYBODY!" Sarah announced.
"Z-Power Rings/Z-Rings, energize!" the rangers all shouted, bringing forth their Z-Rings/Z-Power "
"LET'S DO IT/LET'S DO IT!" they and their chosen Pokemon all bellowed, performing their respective poses for their Z-Moves and gathering all the Z-Power they can muster up to shoot at Dusk Mane Necrozma.
"Use Gigavolt Havoc!"
"Inferno Overdrive!"
"Hydro Vortex!"
"Bloom Doom, let's go!"
"Subzero Slammer, go!"
"Use Savage Spin-Out!"
"Breakneck Blitz!"
"Full-powered Let's Snuggle Forever!" Ash, Kiawe, Lana, Mallow, Lillie, Sophocles, Gladion, and Race shouted, going first with their Z-Moves and channeling all of their Z-Power through Sarah and Kommo-o while they prepared to put the finishing touch with their Z-Move that's known only to the Kommo-o species.
"Ready, Kommo-o?" the princess called to her Scales Pokemon.
"On your command, Princess!" Kommo-o nodded, the two of them performing the Dragon Type poses for the Kommo-o Z-Move: Clangorous Soulblaze.
"Dragons of Alola, hear my cry! Awaken your true power and help us end the tragic story of danger and destiny of Necrozma the Black Beast!" Sarah recited as she and Kommo-o charged up their Z-Power with all the love and light they have on them and built up with the love and light from all their friends and family gathered with them. "Reawaken Necrozma in his true form and save my Nebby from certain doom! Kommo-o, use CLANGOROUS SOULBLAZE!"
With all of the Z-Power they've mustered, the Ultra Rescue Rangers and their Pokemon all directed their Z-Moves at Dusk Mane Necrozma as they all converged into one powerful beam that slammed into the Black Beast, hitting it with all their hopes and dreams for the future and the love and light they have for each other, the worlds in danger, and all the friends they met and the families they made throughout their adventures. They can only hope it would be enough or more than enough to save both Necrozma and Nebby and fast.
Our heroes are drenching Necrozma with their Z-Power but will they save Nebby? We'll find out as the journey continues...
