Trials of Sarah VOL 3: Pokemon Sun & Moon - The Warrior Princess

(Continuation of VOL 1-2) After completing their journey, Sarah is reunited with her birth parents; Doug and Delilah and the Alolan Monarchy is restored once more. With Team Eclipse gone, Sarah balances her personal life and her royal duties. All the while, the young Princess makes her own destiny and path and shows that friendship and love can do amazing things.

23. Securing the Future

Ash - After traveling through an Ultra Wormhole with Lunala, Nebula, and Solgaleo, we've arrived back in Ultra Space and reached the homeworld of Poipole, her mother, Naganadel, and their subjects, the kingdom of Poipole Fantasy. We've learned that unless Necrozma returns to his former self somehow, Poipole Fantasy and everyone else whose destinies are intertwined with him since the Ultra Beast War won't survive. That's why we decided to restore his power by using our Z-Power and the love and light we all have through our Z-Moves! If we succeed, Nebby, Poipole, and the others will be safe! But, little did I, Sarah, or any of us know, it would take a lot more than just our Z-Power and us alone to do just that...

"Use Heavy Slam!"

"Braviary!"

"Alakazam, Hypno! No, with just one attack..."

In Alola, things were looking dire for the Alolan Royal Family, Kukui, and Faba; as they were down three Pokemon with Braviary, Alakazam (without a Mega Stone and Keystone on Faba's part), and Hypno knocked out, Doug, Delilah, and Tsukumaro along with their Pokemon such as the Tomoe Squad and the addition of Phoe-Phoe were the only ones left standing between the Matori Matrix and the Ultra Wormhole.

"Braviary, are you okay?" Kukui asked his defeated Valiant Pokemon just as Faba returned his own Pokemon for a rest.

"The enemy isn't going to wait while we worry about them, prepare to attack!" Faba warned.

"Your friend speaks the truth so what do you plan on doing now?" Gozu sneered, smirking at them while his Mega Aggron let out a smug roar.

"Faba, who's your next Pokemon?" Kukui quizzed their group leader as he returned Braviary.

"...No more," the scientist admitted, shocking the Alola Professor.

"Sir Faba, let us take over," Doug requested as he, Delilah, and Tsukumaro stepped in.

"Are you sure you can do this, Your Highness? The power of a Mega Pokemon is not to be trifled with or underestimated," Faba asked worriedly, getting a reassuring nod from Doug.

"Those fools involved us when they tried to take my baby's Nebby and Nebula long with Solgaleo and Lunala. They wanted them for their own gain and would've killed them in doing so, especially our daughter's own babies. Now, it's our turn to pay them back for how they've treated them on her behalf," Delilah vowed softly yet firmly, glaring daggers at the Matori Matrix and Mega Aggron as David and Donna (former queen) joined in (Flipper and Flicka coming up alongside them as they floated above the ground in battle).

"This time, as you youngsters would say, it's personal," finished Tsukumaro in agreement as he, Phoe-Phoe, Absol, Xatu, Bambi, Togepi, Whimsicott, Mercurr, Oliver, and Mae Ling prepared for another round.

"Your Majesties... Alright, go for it," Faba nodded and Kukui did the same in determination, both of them convinced and allowing the Alolan Royal Family to take over for them.

"Whacha gonna do? You and your royal baggage are a bunch of stubborn old hags if you think you can beat me!" Gozu taunted.

"You tried to take our granddaughter's babies along with Solgaleo and Lunala as well as Necrozma but now, we're going to make you pay for what you did! You'll have nowhere to hide once we destroy you Mega Aggron and force you out of our island abode, Matori Matrix!" David snarled with hatred as he pointed at Gozu and the rest of the Matori Matrix.

"You insolent rats, you'll regret underestimating me! Aggron, finish them with Heavy Slam!" Gozu seethed as he forced Mega Aggron to attack again.

"Kurma, defend!" Doug shouted, Sarah's old babysitter taking his place and stopping the Mega-Evolved Iron Armor Pokemon in his tracks as he tanked his Heavy Slam attack and forced him back.

Gozu was shocked, "WHAT?!"

"You say we're underestimating you, my boy? I think we should ask you that instead. You're forgetting one thing: this is our home and people like you are not welcome here, ever. Our daughter will see to that. Kurma, Grassy Terrain plus Rock Polish!"

"Get ready, Aggron! As the flowers bloom, this is going to rock your world! HAAAAAH!" Kurma roared at Gozu's Mega Aggron as a green mist was formed and the ground was replaced with a grassy field that increased the power of his family's Grass Type moves before he increased his speed and shot in front of the shocked Mega Aggron, ramming into him and sending him flying towards Mischief and Persian.

"Persian, Mischief, darlings! Burning Jealousy!" Delilah added to her and Doug's ace partners.

"Come on! Ha!"

"Oh, yeah! Let's do this!" Persian and Mischief shouted as they attacked Mega Aggron with jealousy, inflicting immense damage on the evil Pokemon as Mega Evolution gave it base stats which are increased by 100 points high than its original base stats.

"Aggron!" Gozu roared in stunned shock, seeing his Mega Aggron taking a beating and roaring in pain before it crashed onto the ground, trying to get up as it glared daggers at the royal family's Pokemon.

"Your arrogance, Team Rocket, will always be your undoing!" Donna (former queen) scoffed.

"Our baby has taught us a great deal about how she and the rest of our family have their Pokemon battles ever since we came back and given the threat you've posed just now, our training with her is paying off," Delilah put in, her glare towards the Matori Matrix unwavering.

"You will never follow the princess, her friends, and our family to Ultra Space to claim what you see as your prize!" Tsukumaro spat, angering the Matori Matrix and Gozu as they seethed at the royal family.

Back in Ultra Space, over at Poipole Fantasy, the heroes all watched anxiously as they hoped that sharing their Z-Power with Dusk Mane Necrozma will restore his power and release Nebby and return them to him. But, despite their hopes and the orange glow and power from their combined Z-Moves, they were shocked to discover the glow dying out and Necrozma still has his hold on the little Solgaleo as he then cackled loudly at them.

The seconds passed and they all waited with bated breath to see if their actions bore any fruit. What actually happened was that Necrozma was able to turn their own act of kindness against them by absorbing all of the power they had given him and recharging himself for another full-throttle assault so he can take on Nebula, Lunala, and Solgaleo again and absorb their light at once.

"You meddling kids thought you can restore my light with only a few measly Z-Moves and a fraction of the power I already had?" he sneered, shocking the heroes again as they stared in horror and bewilderment at how badly Ash's idea backfired on them. "Foolish rangers, I can take away the pain you're feeling by killing you with the power you have selfishly given me; the same power that you so badly wanted to share with me just so you can free your precious little 'Nebby' and save your previous worlds!"

The heroes gasped as Gladion asked in his shock, "What's going on?!"

"THE WORSE POSSIBLE THING! Necrozma was able to absorb all of the Z-Power that we've given him to power himself up and keep his hold on Nebby so he'll still be under his control until he has all of his Ultra Aura and he dies!" Rotom-Dex screamed in terror, further horrifying the heroes as they realized they had only scratched the surface of their greatest challenge yet.

"BIG BROTHER!" Nebula cried, tears threatening to come out of her eyes as she, Eternatus, Solgaleo, Reshiram, and Lunala watched on from above with Sarah's family as they stared in horror from the ground.

Eternatus gritted his teeth as breathed, "I knew it; even something as sentimental as sharing power didn't make a dent on that creep! What do you runts expect to come out of such a thing and by doing it all alone?!"

In response, knowing the question was directed at him, Ash could only deadpan with a disgruntled glare at Eternatus, "Thanks for the vote of confidence."

"Not my problem, dinky brain."

Solgaleo and Lunala watched with great concern alongside Reshiram, Eternatus, and Nebula as the little Lunala looked like she was going to break out in tears of anguish over the possible loss of Nebby since Ash's idea was a good one but it ultimately backfired and fell short on her family and friends' goal to save everyone involved in the struggle they're in.

"...We must do something," Lunala thought worriedly as she and her solar counterpart were forced to take in the hopelessness of their saviors' current predicament.

"Ash, what'll we do now? Eternatus is right, our Z-Power isn't enough to save both Eternatus and Nebby," Kiawe told Ash.

"Yeah, I guess our Z-Power and the love and light we all share wasn't enough to fill him up," Mallow deduced in agreement.

"We need to have another plan," Lillie said to him.

"A Plan B, you mean," Mulan clarified, knowing what Lillie meant.

"Do we even have a Plan B?"

"What's Plan B, Sis?"

"I'm afraid we haven't the fortitude to come up with one, especially since we've gotten a 27% chance of success with Nebby being freed and Necrozma's light being restored through sharing our Z-Power with him as Ash put it," Calculator answered to Danny and Danielle.

"He's right; the only chance we have now is to fight unless we get a call in from Ms. Lusamine and Prof. Burnet and I'm looking at a 73% success majority at that," Nitro added, warily looking at Necrozma.

"Come on, Ash! Wrack that brain of yours, already!"

"Sharing our light and love and our Z-Power with Necrozma was a good idea but it's not hitting the ground running as we hoped. And, it looks like we're in major trouble this time!"

"Hurry up, dude! Think! Do you have a Plan B to follow up on your idea-bzt?!" Thundereon, Nyasi, and Manteon pleaded to Ash.

"Come up with another plan..." Ash repeated, trying to think until he sheepishly admitted, "...I'm all out of plans."

This was not the answer everybody was hoping out of the Kanto trainer regarding their dwindling hopes to save Nebby, restore Necrozma's light, and save everyone involved and their worlds including him as the others and Gladion groaned at him while Sarah's family either comically fell over, faltered, or facepalmed in response.

"Thanks a heap, Captain Kanto Boonie!" Eternatus grunted in annoyance.

Necrozma cackled again as he watched how stuck in a rut his enemies are, relishing in their confusion and hopelessness he bellowed and prepared his Prismatic Laser, "What do we have here, all dressed up, trapped like a bunch of brats, and with nowhere left to go? Well, you won't need to worry about that or about your precious 'Nebby' because I plan on making Poipole Fantasy your eternal grave thanks to the power you've given me! PRISMATIC LASER!"

"Here comes another Prismatic Laser!" Ghost (Dragapult) shrieked in alarm.

"Better jump, fly and ride like the wind, or duck!" Medusa hissed to everybody.

"Oh, shit!" Eternatus cursed, swiftly taking Sarah into his right claw (surprising her with a yelp) and curled himself protectively to shield her from Necrozma's Prismatic Laser (the Dragons of Berk gasping at the danger present as they shielded their riders and their Pokemon with their wings and bodies).

Unfortunately, Ash and the others weren't so lucky to dodge or hide even if they heard Medusa's warning because Necrozma fired Prismatic Laser all around the area, striking the canyon walls and near the entire group. The blasts (because they were super close to the unprotected when they hit) blew them all off their feet and sent them flying back, the entire gang, Gladion, all of the Pokemon and dragons, and Rotom-Dex screaming in pain as the damage was too much for them to bear, causing the seven defenseless rangers to demorph.

While the situation is looking dire for the heroes, back at Alola, everybody in the entire region (people and Pokemon alike including Hala, Olivia, Hapu, and Nanu) gathered in specific spots including fields in the wilderness and the cities with the best vantage points to see the sun (partially eclipsed at this time), preferably the Ruins of Life, the Ruins of Conflict, the Ruins of Abundance, the Ruins of Hope, Iki Town, Hau'oli City, and so on. The solar eclipse was about to take place and yet, only the Island Kahunas, the Tapu Island Guardians, and everyone else tied to them only knew of the danger that awaited them given what happened to Necrozma and Nebby days prior.

Steeling themselves and readying for the chance something is about to go wrong despite not wanting everybody to worry and become suspicious about what was going on behind the scenes, the Kahunas took their places as they began to offer their prayers.

"Alright, the Manalo Festival is finally underway in our beloved Alola."

"...when the light disappears and the world is ruled by darkness..."

"...the power we yearned for in the bottom of our hearts is sheer brilliance!"

"As history repeats itself, we must place our hopes in the Power Rangers Ultra Rescue to save Nebby and restore the light that Necrozma once lost. All of us must do our part to help them all, to ensure that we all have a future to celebrate and look forward to with everyone, heart in heart, and hand in hand," Hala, Olivia, Nanu (with the addition of Acerola), and Hapu thought as they began to pray, the Manalo Festival finally beginning as the solar eclipse finally took place.

This didn't bode well for the Matroi Matrix as the elite TR agent in question realized what was going on and hastily called to her right hand from her airship, "*Gozu, you idiot, what are you doing?! Stop fooling around with the Alolan Royal Family and get back here! The solar eclipse is starting and we need to get to the Ultra Wormhole!*"

Gozu growled, realizing that Matori was right and they were running out of time as he told his fellow agents, "You guys go back, I'll join you once I've danced with these Alolan devils in the pale sunlight."

"Sir!" the grunts agreed, racing back to the airship to rejoin Matori and prepare for their dash for the Ultra Wormhole.

"As the solar eclipse begins, so does the reign of the invincible Matori Matrix! Those who interfere and try to dethrone us shall be thrust into eternal darkness with no hope of escape! Aggron, destroy these fools with Heavy Slam!"

Gozu's Mega Aggron roared as it prepared to go at the heroes before it and its master again before Kukui took out a Pokeball and turned to the group with him as he prepared to throw it and rejoin the fight, "Please, Your Majesties, Faba, keep this a secret from Burnet and the other students. Now, Incineroar, use Darkest Lariat!"

Kukui threw the ball and out came his ace Pokemon/partner/best friend for life, Incineroar, the powerful Heel Pokemon ready for battle as he faced Mega Aggron (surprising the Royal Family and their Pokemon along with Phoe-Phoe as she squawked in bewilderment at the Fire Type), ready to take on the Mega Pokemon himself.

"Let's...RUMBLE!" Incineroar bellowed as he unleashed his signature move, clashing with Mega Aggron's Heavy Slam attack as they exploded and the two of them were forced back to their respective trainers.

Gozu couldn't help but smirk as he finally found a challenge in Kukui as he edged him on, "So, you do have another one on you. Heh, that's more like it; I was hoping for more of a challenge from you if you're anything like the royal family and their Pokemon. Alright, Aggron, use Flash Cannon! Go!"

Kukui accepted the challenge as he and Incineroar decided to go big and end the battle with a Z-Move as they performed Malicious Moonsault, "Alright! Incineroar, time to power up! Burn the ring down to the ground with flames and victory! Use MALICIOUS MOONSAULT!"

"Now, feel the fiery wrath...of INCINEROAR!" Incineroar screamed proudly, jumping from the makeshift ring from his signature Z-Move and performing Malicious Moonsault with sheer perfection as he slammed down on Mega Aggron like a flaming comet of a heavyweight champion.

Dust and wind amidst the flames kicked up as Aggron was hit by the Z-Move, too late to fire its Flash Cannon and finally giving up as it slumped down on the ground in defeat and unconscious, turning back to its original form. Gozu was shocked when he saw that his Mega Pokemon was no match for the merciless power of a Z-Move, especially one that has been practiced and used to perfection by a trainer such as Kukui, and even the royal family couldn't help but be amazed and impressed by what they saw out of him and his number one partner and friend.

"But, how?!" he shrieked before he felt a figure swiping away his dog tag holding his Keystone and noticed someone wrenching the Aggronite off of his powerhouse Pokemon which were actually Oliver and Mae Ling as they gave them to Doug and Delilah. "HEY!"

"Nya-ny-nya-ny-nya-nya!" Oliver taunted cheekily while Mae Ling sent a scoff and a smirk at the grunt, irking Gozu as he seethed at the heroes for outwitting him not once, not twice, but three times in a row.

"Good job, Oliver, Mae Ling," smiled Tsukumaro proudly to his Obscuring and Dragomy

"You little sneaks! If you royal dirtbags think you're walking out of here with my Keystone and Mega Stone, you're wrong! Come on, I'm not through with any of you yet! I'll take you on 'til the Miltanks come home and you learn to better respect the Matori Matrix! Give me back what is mine!"

"Get over it, Burly!"

"You lost this battle to all of us and we won your prizes fair and square," Oliver and Mae Ling snorted.

"You don't deserve the power of Mega Evolution if you're planning on using it for your own selfish needs."

"We'll be keeping them, if you don't mind," Doug and Delilah added firmly.

"'Burn the ring down to the ground'," Faba echoed as he looked closely between Kukui and Incineroar and gasped in surprise and delight, suddenly putting the pieces together much faster than Burnet did before as he suddenly became a fanboy. "WAAAHHH! I get it now, you're the Masked Royal! TA-DA!"

With hearts over his eyes (given that he's heard about Kukui's alter ego and saw him and Incineroar battling in Battle Royales at every chance he got), he unbuttoned part of his jacket and showed off what looked to be a Masked Royal t-shirt he got, surprising Kukui as he looked at him.

"You're a fan?" he asked before he smirked (impressed that he had another fan with him and the heroes for so long since they all met and became allies) and he said to him, "Let's do it together, then!"

"En-joy!" they recited with Incineroar joining in with a smirk of his own, "En-joy!", much to the amusement and embarrassment of the royal family as they either chuckled or sighed at them.

Gozu was at his boiling point, and finally having enough while realizing he was outmatched without his and his Aggron's greatest trump card, he was forced to retreat as he returned his Steel Type and rejoined the Matori Matrix in the airship to complete their mission.

"I'll remember this!" he vowed as he returned his Aggron, the airship taking off as he rejoined his crew and they made way for the Ultra Wormhole.

"They're trying to enter the Ultra Wormhole for sure this time!"

"I guess we've won the battle but not the war," Kukui and Tsukumaro grunted as everybody gathered on their end glared at the Matori Matrix, seeing that they and everybody else only delayed the inevitable as they watched the Matori Matrix getting closer and closer to the Ultra Wormhole in the midst of the eclipse.

But, the Matori Matrix's hopes would be dashed as a voice shouted, "STOP!", and four figures attacked the airship with Dazzling Gleam and Nature's Madness before it could enter, severely damaging it.

Matori and her crew weren't prepared for the unexpected assault on them and their aircraft as the vehicle exploded from the bottom half and smoke can be seen through the holes and shattered areas. The elite spies themselves yelled in shock as they rocked about following the attack on them and they tried to keep hold in the cockpit. The sight of the assault also shocked Kukui, Faba, and the royal family as they gaped in shock and amazement, wondering who could've stopped them in time before they could.

"What's going on?!"

"Hey, something just attacked the Matori Matrix!"

"And, not just something, I might add! I could've sworn I saw four figures attacking that airship those Team Rocket agents are in!"

"We didn't hit it!" Zorro, Blossom, Mae Ling, and Sokka gasped.

"What's going on?!" Gozu asked as he entered the cockpit only for Matori to retort in annoyance, "Knock it off, will ya?! That's my line!"

"The ship's taken heavy damage, something or someone's completely blown it and we're descending at a rapid pace!"

"There's something straight ahead, four somethings, actually! Dead ahead!" two of the grunts manning the controls notified as the airship's alarms for emergency damage done to it rang out.

Matori and Gozu looked forward and to their utter shock, what greeted the Matori Matrix between them and the Ultra Wormhole were the Guardian Deities-Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini-all four of them glaring at the villains as they stood guard, blocking the Ultra Wormhole and preventing them from getting closer to the portal. The heroes were also in delight as they recognized the Guardian Deities as they faced the Matori Matrix as they were about to crash land thanks to the damage they'd inflicted on their airship.

"You will not set one inch inside this Ultra Wormhole!" Tapu Koko warned the Matori Matrix.

"It's Tapu Koko!"

"Tapu Bulu!"

"Tapu Lele!"

"Tapu Fini!"

"They're all here!" Kukui, Faba, Doug, Deliliah, and Tsukumaro cheered.

"We can't control the ship, it's too damaged for us to maintain our hold of it!"

"Propulsion is decreasing rapidly by 30%! The engines are not going to last!"

"Urgh! What now, Matori? Our time's up!" Gozu asked Matori, the Team Rocket secretary seething at her and her squad's failure in their mission. "MATORI! Come on, make up your damn mind!"

"...It's over, we're no match for the Guardian Deities. Grr...RETREAT, NOW!" Matori decided, forcing her defeated crew back the way they came while the heroes watched them off as the moon covered more and more of the sun.

Meanwhile, back in Poipole Fantasy, the downed heroes were starting to recover from Necrozma's latest attack on them but safe for Sarah and Race and the Viking Teens (and their Partner Pokemon) as their Pokemon, dragons, and families with them protected them, the others were battered and bruised but unbeaten as they managed to recover. The downside, however, was the fact that the damage Ash, Gladion, Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, Lillie, and Lana had taken from Necrozma's Prismatic Laser was so intense, they were forced to demorph while their Pokemon were also bruised and winded but thankfully unhurt.

"Everyone alright?" Kiawe asked, groaning a little as he came to.

"Uhh, yeah."

"Yeah."

"I'm okay," Ash, Lana, and Gladion replied as Sarah and Race quickly raced over to their team with the Viking Teens, their Pokemon, and the dragons that managed to escape the blast mostly unscathed.

"Hey, guys!"

"You okay out there?" they asked as they checked the others to see if they were badly hurt.

"Me, too."

"Mm-hmm."

"Yeah, I'm okay, Sarah," Sophocles, Mallow, and Lillie reassured.

"Your worthless powers are no match for mine as long as I have this little baby of a Solgaleo with me!" Necrozma sneered, chuckling darkly at the heroes.

"Well, this is just great! We tried sharing our power with Necrozma, we tried fighting him before, we tried whatever we can think of, nothing worked!" grunted Zorua.

"He'll just keep absorbing all the power we give him and turn it back against us as he pleases and we'll be no closer to restoring his light and freeing Nebby from his grasp!" Gale fretted.

"But, why not? We're dealing with a giant cosmic ripoff of the Red Lion Zord, the Lion Thunderzord, the Lion Galactabeast, the Wind Lion Zord, and Jarrod's Black Lion Spirit who has the power of all of those zords and a spirit combined along with Nebby's Ultra Aura who's plowed through us with everything we threw at him! Why can't we bring Necrozma down and restore his light?!" Haze seethed, out of options.

"Alright, I got it!" Ash exclaimed, seemingly having another brain blast.

"That's awesome, Ash! So, what'll we do for a Plan B?" Sophocles asked, smiling hopefully.

"No idea," he replied, making some of the group falter and comically fall over in disbelief.

"Hey, Ash, now's a good time for a meaningful Plan B instead of always winging it," Race reminded as he facepalmed.

"Yeah, Ash, you said you just got it!" Sophocles frowned, not believing what his friend from Kanto is saying.

"I'm not sure what to do, really, but I know I got it. No matter what, I'll never give up until we do find a way!"

"That's my buddy!" Pikachu smiled as Sophocles just groaned, "Whatever."

"So, you finally decide to fight until we have an answer from Lusamine and Burnet or come up with an answer ourselves?" Sarah smirked, seeing what Ash is suggesting as the Kanto trainer nodded. "I knew you'd see things my way, especially since we have no choice but to fight as we're going blind from here on out."

The others smiled as Mallow, Lillie, and Kiawe also vouched to wing it as well until they or Lusamine and Burnet have a solution with Lana nodding in agreement, "Alright."

"It's just like Ash said. And, I guess we got no other choice."

"That's it!"

But, Necrozma roared as he taunted, "It doesn't matter what other plan you meddling kids have in mind! I WILL STILL DESTROY YOU!"

He charged forward to finish the rangers and their Pokemon and dragons off but Nebula, Lunala, and Solgaleo met him as they tackled him, forcing him away from the group as the three Ultra Beasts faced their common enemy and the latter two's misunderstood friend/ally from long ago.

"No more, Necrozma!" Solgaleo and Lunala shouted.

"You're not going to take my big brother from me!" Nebula roared.

Dusk Make Necrozma seethed again as he simply spat at them, "YOU MEDDLESOME BEASTS!"

"And, with all of our Pokemon as well as Sarah and Race's families and the Riders of Berk and their Pokemon and dragons, we got Nebula, Lunala, and Solgaleo by our side!" Gladion declared knowingly, also ready to fight.

"Time to ranger up again, gang!" Sarah smiled, getting knowing nods from her friends and Gladion as they morphed back into their ranger alter egos to go at Dusk Mane Necrozma again.

"And, we have these guys, too!" Ash said, bringing out his Lycanroc, Rowlet, and Torracat.

"Let's heat things up, Turtonator!" Kiawe shouted as Pyroar recovered and rejoined his trainer with Turtonator standing by their side.

"Ready, Shaymin and Tsareena?" Mallow asked her partners, bringing her Shaymin out to join her and Tsareena as they nodded determinedly.

"Yeah! We'll just have to do our best, right, Togedemaru and Vikavolt?" Sophocles called, getting determined calls from Togedemaru and Vikavolt.

"Let's make waves, Primarina! You too, Sandy!" Lana shouted, getting agreeing and determined calls from Sandy and Primarina as they got into battle stances.

"We'll do our best, too, Snowy!" Lillie said to her partner, getting a determined nod and coo from her Alolan Vulpix.

"Umbreon, Lycanroc, you too!" Gladion added, bringing out his Lycanroc and Umbreon to stand with him and his Silvally.

"Come on, Kaulu/Loki!"

"Take it to him, Axew!"

"Yeah, Deino!"

"Go, Dratini!"

"Seviper!"

"Zangoose!" the Viking Teens cried as their Pokemon stood with them and their dragons.

"Yo, Necrozma! I've some large guests you'll be glad to meet that'll give you all the light you need in our next bout!"

"That goes double for me! You're gonna find out with Dinosaur Power is all about"

"Summon, Dinosaurs!" Sarah and Race announced, summoning all of their Secret Dinosaurs in Battle Mode (their own light allowing them to have the strength to match Necrozma's power and speed as the young couple hoped) to face Necrozma, restore his light, and save everyone including him and Nebby.

The full solar eclipse had finally taken shape back in Alola as the Guardian Deities all took their places in their cross formation and made the same eclipse prayer hands as the Island Kahunas and Acerola did while facing the Ultra Wormhole, sending streams of orange light particles through it while Kukui and the others watched them from down below.

"What do you suppose the Island Guardians are doing?" Doug questioned, wondering what Tapu Koko and his fellow guardians are doing.

"I'm not sure but it looks like they're sending some sort of particles through the Ultra Wormhole and they look like they're made of light," Tsukumaro deducted.

"Isn't that...?" Kukui gasped.

They weren't the only ones watching what the Island Guardians are up to this time; in the Command Center, Lusamine, Burnet, and Wicke had caught wind of their chasing the Matori Matrix off and were watching them via the monitor on the supercomputer generating particles of light and sending them through the Ultra Wormhole but it is still unclear as to what they were doing.

"What are the Island Guardians doing?" Lusamine quizzed curiously.

"It looks like they made the pose that the Island Kahunas strike when giving thanks during the Manalo Festival," Burnet replied, deducting what she could make out from the pose dubbed the "Thankful Eclipse". "Could it be related to Necrozma, too?"

"Yes! I'm finally able to establish a video link!" Wicke called as the communication problem they had was finally fixed.

"Thanks a lot, Wicke!" Burnet replied as she and Lusamine smiled, knowing that they and Wicke are finally getting the answers they have to the Power Rangers.

And, indeed they did; as Wicke finally got a lock on the rangers and their morphers/Wrist-Coms, the heroes in question answered their calls and they were able to see the Aether Foundation scientists and administrator in the Command Center back home.

"Can you hear me, Power Rangers?" Lusamine called, the video link they'd established finally patching through.

"It's Mother!"

"Lusamine!"

"We read you, Lusamine. Loud and clear, we're sorry to have worried you," Lillie, Ash, and Sarah replied, bringing relief to the trio's hearts as they set to work on giving the heroes the answers they'd been looking for.

"What's the sitch, commander?" Race asked through his morpher.

"So, tell me, how are you all doing over there?"

Sarah looked around as she informed, "A-Okay, Lusamine; right now, we're in Poipole's kingdom dubbed Poipole Fantasy and we've managed to meet up with her mother, Queen Naganadel, and the rest of the Ultra Recon Squad while learning everything that happened here."

"We also confirmed with them that Necrozma is indeed both the Blinding One and the Black Beast. The Legendary Pokemon himself is no longer emanating light since Dulse and Zossie's ancestors and Lothor stole it from him all those years ago which is why he attacked Solgeleo, Nebby, Lunala, and Nebula. And, because of that, he was able to absorb Nebby and his Ultra Aura when he saw his chance and he made the ultimate sacrifice for everyone's sake," Lillie updated.

"We were right," breathed Burnet.

Lusamine agreed, "He's the same as the one we saw drawn on the murals."

"Which is why he's referred to by his true name by everybody in Ultra Space," Kiawe nodded.

"We tried to bring him back using our Z-Moves but we couldn't and he turned our power against us," Gladion added.

"Yeah, Necrozma wouldn't let Nebby go," Ash sighed.

"Then, Necrozma will need a lot more power, all the power he can get, from both people and Pokemon," Burnet announced.

Ash was confused as he echoed, "A lot more power?"

"We finally managed to decipher what the ancient text from the mural said," Lusamine mentioned as Burnet explained her findings.

"After the Blinding one lost his light, the ones who shared their light with him were Solgaleo and Lunala but they didn't share their power with him alone. People and Pokemon back then when they were around did, too. All of it alludes to Sarah being the catalyst or the trigger behind it all, the person who will share the most love and light with Necrozma with the Sun Sword at hand to bring back the light he once lost."

"People and Pokemon..." Ash echoed again, thoughtfully.

"So, that's it; Necrozma shouldn't need just our power to help him get his light back, he needs the power of everyone involved in his story."

"And, Sarah's own light is the key to restoring him and saving everyone and our worlds," Tai Lung and Guardeon gasped in realization and wonder at the answer they were all given, Sarah also gasping as she got a rainbow glow in her eyes and recalled everything she went through and how she solved many problems before her and brightened the lives of many people, Pokemon, and creatures through her kindness and compassion, extending her traits to even her worst enemies.

"That's it!"

"It all makes sense!"

"The answer's right in front of us the whole time!" shouted Mallow, Lana, and Kiawe ecstatically.

"But, there's one problem, Lusamine; the Sun Sword is still broken and what can we do with the Xerneas Chest?" Sophocles reminded, noting the Sun Sword's current condition and the Xerneas Chest still being unable to open. "Naganadel said to us that the key to open the chest is the Heart of Life but what exactly is the Heart of Life?"

"I know now, I finally understand," Sarah smiled as she was done remembering everything, getting everybody's attention.

"What/Hmm/Huh?" everybody puzzled as Sarah went over to Ash and she brought out the Xerneas Chest.

"Hey, Ash, do you still have the Sun Sword with you?"

"Sure, Sarah, but what are you going to do with them? We don't have the key," Ash noted, giving her the Sun Sword as she unwrapped it from its cloth and held them both together (setting her family's first heirloom on top of the chest).

"Don't you see, Ash? I finally understood what Naganadel told us before; the Heart of Life was never an object to begin with, it's the bond between us that's the key to the chest the Legendary Tree left for my family and I, for us! It's US, it's always been us."

Ash and the others gasped in awe and amazement before they all shared Sarah's bright smile as they each stated and put their hands together over the chest and sword,

Mallow - "I get it! That's why we were able to last this long against Necrozma and all of the enemies we made ever since we started our journey as Power Rangers, right? It's through our hearts!"

Gladion - "None of our enemies could truly destroy us because of that bond and it's why we were able to overcome every challenge standing in our way."

Race - "Lothor and Team Eclipse, Evox, Mayor Humdinger, Dr. Zin, Dai Shi's final soldiers, Goldar Maximus, Dr. Cawthorn, all of the evils we faced couldn't beat us no matter how hard they tried to put us down."

Kiawe - "Not when we stood together time and time again, even when we're apart."

Lana - "All nine of us."

Ash - "Our friendship!"

Lillie - "Our love for each other!"

Sophocles - "Yeah, that's the true Heart of Life."

Sarah - "And, even in his current state, that's the one thing Necrozma can never take away from us, something he can never defeat."

At that moment, after confirming what the Heart of Life truly is, a miracle happened and it turned out to be the hail mary the heroes needed all along; the Xerneas Chest started to glow brightly and a tiny beam from it touched the broken Sun Sword.

The keyhole glowed along with the sword as it was inserted inside and turned like it was an actual key, the chest finally opening and emitting a vast amount of sacred light from whatever contents are inside, the light diving down and enveloping the Sun Sword. Then, when the blade was restored along with its power, it suddenly glowed again as it started to change shape to correspond to the power it was getting. When the glow died down, the heroes were overjoyed as well as amazed to see the Sun Sword in a new form while retaining some features from its original form including the overall size.

The Sun Sword was now modeled after the Ray Grace rapier carried by Asuna Yuuka from Sword Art Online Season 2 but the silver parts on the handle are now gold and the white blade is now slightly tapered nearly the whole way to the tip, the spring green handle underneath the gold lines was now violet, and an orange crystal was fixed to the base of the blade at the middle. The multi-colored tassel still hung from the ring pommel that it retained but was shortened via the string so it wouldn't get caught on the wrist when Sarah and her family use it in combat and it had a charm of Nebby above the tassel heads (along the string separating the pommel and the tassel heads without the charm showing the gap at about an inch). The Pokemon Gems of Rayquaza, Zacian, Zamazenta, Giratina, Xerneas, Zygarde, and Cresselia are now fixed on the blade from both sides (with Rayquaza, Zacian, Giratina, and Cresselia's gems resting on one side and Zamazenta, Zygarde, and Xerneas' gems fixed on the other) instead of the guard.

"Whoa..."

"Holy shields...!"

"The Sun Sword!"

"It's fixed!"

"Alright!"

"Wow, did you see what it looks like now?"

"It's beautiful!"

"Incredible..."

"It changed!" Kiawe, Zenna, Hiccup, Sophocles, Ash, Mallow, Lillie, Gladion, and Astrid gasped in awe and wonder.

"...I can't believe it, amazing," Sarah said, amazed at seeing her family's heirloom's new form.

"I think the tree gave you a nice gift, Island Girl," Race told his girlfriend, his smile hidden underneath his helmet.

The little princess nodded as she looked at the sword again and marveled at its beauty but that's not all the Xerneas Chest had to offer because, at that moment, a tiny ball of light appeared from within the chest and floated around everybody gathered. They were surprised to see the ball of light until they saw it fly over to Sarah and she looked at it as it returned to its spot from within the chest. From the ball of light, the spirit of the Legendary Tree briefly appeared in the form of Xerneas as she looked at her.

"Your newfound understanding that only love and light and not hatred and darkness can truly save the worlds and people-humans, Pokemon, dragons, and creatures alike-that you've sworn to protect have proven you worthy to receive the Life Cosmic Infinity, Princess," the Legendary Tree spoke as she turned back into the ball of light from before as it rested on Sarah's right hand while she held it after putting the open chest down. "With the use of my Crystal Armor, you will become the Royal Orion Warrior. Whenever you call upon the love and light of everyone as well as your own and that of all your friends and family to use it, you and you alone will have the power to save and protect everybody from the forces of evil, even Necrozma."

Sarah was stunned as she took in what the Legendary Tree was saying to her; recalling what she learned in Ranger History Class, she is entrusted with her own Battlizer, a power upgrade most often unique and exclusive to only the leaders (Red Rangers) of Power Ranger teams. In layman's terms, the Legendary Tree gave Sarah a Battlizer given that she is the leader of the Power Rangers Ultra Rescue and her greatest weapons/aspects are her kindness and compassion which had helped her and her friends and family against the forces of evil time after time to ensure that everyone is protected and happy.

Realizing what she and everybody else needed to do, she faced Dusk Mane Necrozma and told her team, "It's now or never, guys. This is our last chance to save everybody involved in this mess, now let's give it everything we got."

"But, how can we and everybody else back home let alone here in Ultra Space send that much power to Necrozma if they don't know how?" Spookeon reminded.

At that moment, Burnet snapped her fingers in realization as she smiled brightly and brought up the video footage of the Island Guardians to the rangers, "I got it! It's Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini; they're all sending their own Z-Power and the light and love they have for everyone through the Ultra Wormhole straight to Necrozma! That's how we can send him all of our power!"

Lusamine and Wicke smiled in agreement, knowing what everybody should do. "Then, we'll all send our prayers to him and do the same as well," the former decided as the three scientists performed the Thankful Eclipse pose as well.

Ash beamed as they finally have their Plan B, the answer they'd been looking for, as he told everyone, "Let's all do it together, then!"

"Right!" the others agreed as they, the Pokemon, and the dragons with them did the Thankful Eclipse while Nebula, Lunala, and Solgaleo continued their bout with Necrozma, hoping to give everyone involved enough time to transfer all of their love and light to Necrozma.

"Everyone in Alola, Ultra Space, Poipole Fantasy, Ultra Megalopolis!"

"Along with us!"

"The people..."

"...and Pokemon!"

"Please, lend us all your power!"

"And, send it to Necrozma, together!"

"Right!"

Over at the main hive, Naganadel, her subjects, and the Ultra Recon Squad watched and heard what was going on and they were amazed. Their potential saviors were going to pull off a miracle to save them and everyone else that had been involved with Necrozma since the Ultra Beast War was kicked off and they pulled off the impossible to do just that.

"Inconceivable! I don't understand it... There was nothing those kids and the princess could do about Necrozma in his current state even though we rely heavily on his power to thrive in years past. But, they all vowed to help him as well as the one they call Nebby to restore the light he had lost because of the Ultra Recon Squad's ancestors and Lothor of Team Eclipse but still, they vowed to fight in any way possible to save everybody and reclaim the future we all strived for. Why, why do they have to be so stubborn yet right at the same time?" Naganadel pondered in awe and fascination.

Dulse and Zossie had to smile as they knew what that was ever since they met Sarah and her family and friends, Zossie telling them, "It's called 'Love' and frankly, that's the true light we've needed all along. It's their greatest strength and something born out of kindness and compassion, something the princess knows all too well."

Dulse agreed as he added, "Love may not seem like much and some people think it makes them weak but they don't understand how powerful love truly is. It's true that humans can be weak and powerless but what is their weakest link can be their greatest strength. They have dreams, they believe in each other, they love each other to do what is right and fight to the bitter end, showing that only love can truly save the world. They stand together and they feel empathy for each other! They all have the power to believe in themselves just as we did even if all hope seemed lost, and somehow, they will find the strength to believe in the strongest love and the brightest light and they will succeed!"

"Amazing, truly amazing!"

"Wonderful," Phyco and Soliera remarked, taken aback in amazement as they smiled brightly at what they were seeing.

"We'll all pitch in to give all of our power to you, Necrozma!" Jakanee said, tapping into her Light Magic as she then told Lusamine. "Lusamine, can you get this to the Island Kahunas and let them know?"

"I'm already on it, Jakanee! I know for certain we'll need their help, too!" smiled Lusamine as she called the Island Kahunas and explained everything and what they need to do.

At his shrine, Hala got the call and nodded in agreement to the plan, "Yes, of course. I understand you and I thank you on behalf of everyone and the Island Kahunas of Alola, Lusamine."

He then addressed the crowd around him as he hung up and looked at them, "People of Alola, hear me now! Right now, our Alola Guardians-Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini-are all sending their combined power through the Ultra Wormhole you see before you! On the other side of that Ultra Wormhole is the Blinding One, Necrozma, who lost his light 500 years ago and was forced to be sealed away by our region's last king and queen, our very own King Doug and Queen Delilah! According to legends that had been passed down since ancient times, after filling this world with a wondrous light, the stories said that it is Necrozma who created Alola!"

Olivia also got Lusamine's call and she addressed the crowd with her at the Akala Island shrine, "But, after exhausting every last bit of his wondrous light, Necroza had tragically turned to darkness and it is revealed that our fair princess, the daughter of our fair king and queen: Princess Sarah Tomoe, is the one destined to restore his light! In order to save Necrozma from certain doom, we need the help of everyone in Alola!"

Committing himself to his duties once he had also gotten word from Lusamine, he performed the Thankful Eclipse (with Acerola, Mimikins, Mai, and the others in their group doing the same) as he said to everyone gathered at the Ula'Ula Island shrine, "Send your power, your love and light, along with us! The giving of thanks that has been passed down for generations by the Manalo Festival is the key!"

Hapu then finished as she told everyone and did the same, "To help our beloved princess right the wrongs that were made 500 years ago!"

"We can save all of them: Solgaleo, Lunala, Nebula, Necrozma, and our princess' precious Solgaleo, Nebby!" Hala continued as everybody, people and Pokemon, throughout all of Alola watched in awe and wonder while the solar eclipse reached its peak.

"To the Blinding One, Necrozma..."

"From all of us in Alola to you..."

"Let us combine our powers..."

"To undo a mistake made 500 years ago..."

"And, send it all...directly to you!" Lusamine added as she and Wicke and Burnet performed the Thankful Eclipse together with Jonathan, Principal Oak, Nikki, James, Diane, and the Pokemon and creatures with them outside of the Pokemon School, giving their own power to Necrozma.

"May the light that we all give you help us make amends for what has been done to you!"

"And, restore the light you once lost to remain with you for all time!" Doug and Delilah recited as they, Tsukumaro, their Pokemon, Phoe-Phoe, Kukui, Faba, and Incineroar all gave their own power to Necrozma as well, having found out everything and knowing what they should do, too.

Returning once again to Ultra Space, everyone was now performing the Thankful Eclipse with their hands, sending Necrozma their Z-Power and forcing him to stop fighting, releasing Lunala's wing that he was biting down upon as she, Solgaleo, and Nebula regrouped. Poipole, amazed by what she was seeing, quickly backtracked to her subjects and her mother (finally hovering with them) as she made her pleas to them.

"Please, Mother, everybody! This is our chance, we can share our love and our light with Necrozma, too! If we give thanks for everything he did for us, we can save him as well! We don't have to live in fear or be without his light anymore if we give him our own! Join us and we'll all be happy again!" she begged.

Now convinced at what she was seeing and moved by her daughter's words, Queen Naganadel nodded and performed the Thankful Eclipse with the Ultra Recon Squad and her subjects doing the same.

"Thank you, Mother, everybody!" Poipole cheered.

"What?" Dusk Mane Necrozma gasped in shock as he noticed the streams of love and light conjuring everyone's Z-Power rained down on him. "What are those things?!"

By now, all of Alola's people, dragons, and Pokemon were performing the Thankful Eclipse and sending their Z-Power made by their love and light through the Ultra Wormhole and giving it to Necrozma. They were finally convinced over everything they were told by the Island Kahunas and they all decided to do the same to help Sarah and her friends and family right the wrongs that were made toward their region's creator and save his life along with Nebula, Nebby, Solgaleo, and Lunala.

Even Jessie, James, Meowth, and Wobbuffet were impressed by what they saw although they were a little slow on the draw when following everybody's lead.

"That pose everybody's striking sure is weird," Meowth commented.

"Do we have to strike a pose as well?" James wondered.

"Nope, not me, my arms will get tired from holding them like that," Jessie decided until a large shake of their Meowth Balloon rocked them and there was Bewear with her Stufful riding on her head, eventually dragging the balloon to the ground and crashing it.

"WE'RE OFF WITH A DOWNWARD BLAST!" the trio shrieked before James noticed Bewear and Stufful as they did the Thankful Eclipse as well.

"You do it, too, dearies," Bewear called to them.

"Come on, you guys, join in! It's fun!" Stufful cooed happily in agreement as he continued to hold his pose. "Looks like Bewear and Stufful want us to do it, too," James noted.

"That's it! I get it; whatever gets the princess and her posse home sooner will also give us the opportunity to get our paws on her Pokemon and Ultra Beasts quicker than you can say, 'Ha! Boom, baby!'!'" Meowth exclaimed with an evil yet mischievous smile.

"Hey, yeah! You're right., buddy!" Wobbuffet added in amazement, realizing what Meowth meant.

Jessie and James also smirked once they caught onto Meowth's words, "Logical."

"Then, let's use our methods of evil to soar!" With that, they brought Mimikyu and Marenie out of their Pokeballs and they all did the Thankful Eclipse to send Necrozma their love and light as well (unknowingly helping the heroes in the process).

Finally, with Sarah and Race's mythicals joining in, Lunala, Nebula, and Solgaleo transferred their own Z-Power fueled by their love and light to Necrozma, the Black Beast startled by what he was seeing and not knowing what to do or how to counter such an act of kindness coming from everyone. But, something was holding back his struggles as he thrashed about and felt a new light overflowing him; amazingly, it was the revived Ultra Aura of Nebby as he restrained Necrozma and held him at bay while everyone's love and light continued to charge them up.

Finally, Necrozma had had enough as with a final agonizing roar/scream, he was forced to remove himself from his former hostage as his body parts and his Brain Prism came off, setting the little Solgaleo free at last.

"Alright!"

"Nebby's finally free!"

"Now, as long as the light returns to Necrozma...!" Ash, Lillie, and Sophocles smiled in relief as Necrozma reassembled himself.

Finally free but deprived of much of his strength, a weakened Nebby fell onto the ground, forcing Lunala, Solgaleo, and Nebula to rush over to him.

"Kid/Nebby!" the trio cried as they joined the younger Sunne Pokemon while he groaned from the ordeal he went through.

"Hey, kid, you hurt?"

"Nebby!"

"Big Brother, are you okay?"

"We'll take care of him!" Zossie called as she and Dulse came in with their squad's first-aid kit from Soliera aboard Shauku and Furaha and set to work on healing Sarah's Solgaleo.

"NOOO! My power, it's gone! YOU, YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT, RANGERS! RAAAAGGHHHH!" Necrozma roared in fury, charging at the shocked heroes as they braced themselves for yet another fight with him.

"Urgh! Oh, great!" Sarah grunted as she held onto the Life Cosmic Infinity, readying herself with her newly-repaired Sun Sword and summoned the Moon Shield on her left arm before she charged at him (just as the rest of Sarah and Race's mysticals finally appeared to help).

"PRISMATIC LASER!" Necrozma roared as he once again fired his ultimate attack but this time, he struck at the heroes directly.

"AHHHHHH/DAAAAAHHHH/GYYYYAAAAAHHHHH!" they all screamed in pain as they were hit hard and sent flying but thankfully, the rangers didn't demorph as they crashed into the ground again.

"Damn you, Necrozma! If you won't accept our help, then we're going to have to MAKE YOU LISTEN TO OUR PRAYERS TO YOU!" Sarah bellowed as she ran towards him and let out a battle cry as she slashed at him with the Sun Sword, its new form and power finally allowing her to land a hit on him as he yelled in pain.

As things were beginning to look bleak once more, additional help to stop Necrozma and save him arrived in the form of what looked like the Ultra Pillars (save for Guzzlord and the ones that were brought back to Alola) but they were surprisingly different from the ones Sarah and the others encountered in subtle ways and there were even a few they had never seen before as they attacked Necrozma while running him through from behind with bashes, punches, and kicks and stood before the downed heroes, Pokemon, and dragons.

The new Buzzwole looked slightly older but it wore a black cape that had a symbol akin to that of Superman woven on it; the new Pheromosa was not vain at all and it wore silver wristbands around its tiny forearms and wrists while it had a lasso holstered to the left side of its waist and a sword and shield holstered on its back; the Nihilego was actually the same one the gang rescued Lusamine from but it also wore a black cape but without a woven symbol on it; an older Kartana was shown but it was wearing gold armor-like plating on its body.

Then, there were two additional faces familiar to the group but also different from the ones they met in subtle ways along with two new faces the heroes never encountered before; the two familiar Ultra Beasts were Blachephalon and Xurkitree but unlike the two they met, they were a little older and while the former wore a glowing neon super-suit akin to that worn by Ezra Miller's The Flash/Barry Allen, the latter had cybernetic armor around it making it look like Ray Fisher's Cyborg/Victor Stone.

The two new faces were also the last remaining known Ultra Beasts/Ultra Pillars but they were slightly older as well compared to the younger Ultra Pillars of their friends/acquaintances; one of them was composed of many dark gray and stone lifeforms stacked together to form a four-sided tower with a spindly leg on each corner (the stones forming the legs and top corners being slightly darker and its light gray stones having bright blue lines along the sides which are visible along its edges and underside), the trippy thing about it was that each stone square has a black underside with a circular glowing blue eye in the center (and it has what looked like a Green Lantern symbol in the middle of its stone body on all four sides).

The other was a large yet vaguely humanoid Ultra Beast with a bodily construction that resembles a cross between a space shuttle and a bamboo shoot, having a small white head with a tiny mouth and skinny neck that has three segments. Lying on top of its head is a gray structure resembling a hat with long flowing hair underneath that reaches midway down its body and was rimmed in bright blue, the "hat" having two small blue dots and four white sparkles arranged in an X-shape, resembling bamboo stalks. Each end of its arms is a ring of bright blue fin-like projections coupled with a collection of eight smaller black bamboo shoots and each shoot also has a bright blue ring but with a small line extending back up the stalk.

Its main body is more conical which resembles an overlapping four-layered dress (the shortest/outermost later appearing more metallic and the others being a lighter shade of green and progressively longer cloth/plant material) and underneath the laters is a white body that had a gray crisscross pattern covering it and a bright blue right strung across the base. Below the dress is what looked like a collection of eight more black bamboo stalks, the bottoms of each stalk having a bright blue ring with a small line extending back up the stalk and causing the stalks to look resemble solid rocket boosters. The other subtle hint that shows how different this Ultra Beast also is from the rest (as was the case with its comrades) was that it had big wings and a makeshift hawk-like mask resembling those of the Justice League animated character, Hawkgirl.

The two new Ultra Beasts/Ultra Pillars were known to everyone in Ultra Space as Stakataka and Celesteela but the heroes themselves didn't know anything about them and their species at this point. But, what was really shocking was that the seven Ultra Pillars standing before the heroes, with that the subtle additions they could find on them, resembled Ultra Space's Justice League (inspired by the teams from both the original animated Justice League series (2001-2004) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)).

"Impossible!?" Necrozma gasped as he got his bearings, becoming more shocked once he saw the Ultra Space Justice League.

"Not impressed, old friend," the older Buzzwole replied before he zipped forward (flying like Henry Cavill's Superman) and punched him, sending him flying before the older Pheromosa cut off his flyby and slammed her wristbands together with a roar, sending a shockwave that knocked Necrozma to the ground.

As Naganadel and her subjects continued to share their love and light with Necrozma, Soliera along with Phyco saw everything before they smiled and said, "Alright."

"The Justice League."

Sarah was amazed when she saw the Ultra Space Justice League as well and while she wanted to thank them for coming, despite wanting to know who they are and why they came to help, she knew there was no time for questions as she continued to go on the attack against Necrozma so they can have another chance at restoring his light. Now, knowing to strike at him with love and light, she concentrated the power of her attacks to heal and subdue the Black Beast as she wailed on him, dealing blow after blow with a slash or a thrust she threw at him while fueled by her love and light while blocking and parrying his own blows as she goes.

Rainbow stood his ground and charged forward with a roar, headbutting Necrozma with his enchanted strength from his light infusion and firing his Laser Ray attack at him.

Even Dino, Dana, Sue, Speedy, Beast, and Aries joined in as they used a group Tail Whip attack with Dino on one end and the rest grabbing each other's tails, whipping around before they whacked him in the face before they regrouped.

Gina and Rufus used Blizzard Smash to stop Necrozma before he could get away as they formed a path of ice but the Black Beast dodged it before they could hit him. But, that proved to be his mistake as he left himself wide open for Slasher and Thayers' claws as they jumped him, slamming him back to the ground once they caught him, allowing some of Sarah and Race's mysticals to start wailing on him as well.

Then, over at Alola, the Island Kahunas (feeling the pain the heroes are feeling) decided to ramp up the love and light they're offering by unleashing their Z-Moves with Hariyama, Lycanroc, Persian, and Mudella.

"To Necrozma, the Blinding One! In accordance with festival tradition...!"

"...We now ask you a favor!"

"Please accept our power...!"

"...To restore light to Alola!" Hala, Olivia, Nanu, and Hapu called as they transferred their Z-Power via their Z-Moves through the Ultra wormhole to Necrozma as they struck him.

"This light, could it be...?" Necrozma gasped slightly before he shook himself after he absorbed the light and turned his attention to Nebby with Nebula, Solgaleo, Lunala, Dulse, and Zossie still tending him, throwing the mythicals off of him and heading back to them, just as Race, Eternatus and Gladion noticed after recovering from his previous Prismatic Laser attack.

The three of them charged forward with Eternatus reaching Necrozma first and Race and Gladion going to Athena and the older Silvally to distract him, shocking Ash and Lillie as they cried out to them, "Gladion, Race, Eternatus!"

"Wait, what are you doing?!"

"You can't get through me as long as I'm here, Beady Eye!" Necrozma taunted as the blocked Necrozma from reaching the Ultra Beasts he wanted.

"Silvally/Athena!" the Silvally and Pyroar Ranger called as they got onboard their partners.

"Okay/Let's go!" the Beast Bot and older Synthetic Pokemon nodded as they charged towards Necrozma (Athena getting into Motorcycle Mode).

"Use Air Slash/your fireballs!"

Gladion's Silvally and Athena shot their attacks as the fireballs and Air Slash got Necrozma's attention and he turned to them, the older Xurkitree and Blacephalon taking the opportunity to attack him as they blasted him and knocked him down via the speed of light.

"Young man, here!" Lunala called to Gladion as she summoned what looked like a Z-Power Crystal and threw it to him, the Silvally trainer catching it and recognizing it as Lunala's own Lunalium Z.

"A Z-Power Crystal," he breathed just as Ash and Mallow joined Dulse and Zossie to help them, Nebula, Solgaleo, and Lunala heal Nebby and get him back in full health with their own first-aid kit.

"How's he doing?" Ash asked.

"He'll be okay now but he'll need something to eat so he can get his energy back up," Zossie reassured.

"Any of you kids got a Sitrus Berry?" inquired Dulse.

"Yeah, right here! Here, Nebby, eat this, please," Mallow said, giving Nebby a Sitrus Berry.

Looking back between Ash and Sarah and recognizing what Lunala wanted him to do with her Z-Power Crystal, Gladion knew what he had to do, "I think it's time we use some Z-Moves of unbelievable power that only Nebby, Nebula, Lunala, and Solgaleo know of."

He then turned to Race and he said to him, "Hey, Race, I got an idea! I'm gonna backtrack to Ash and Sarah, you go back to the others and keep an eye on them!"

"Okay, good luck! Give Necrozma a good dose of light while you're at it!" Race nodded as he and Athena raced back to check on the others while Gladion and his Silvally raced to Ash and Sarah, the little princess noticing Nebby being freed and healed as she joined Ash's party to see how her baby was doing.

"Hey, Nebby, you okay?" Zossie asked once she, her brother, Ash, and Mallow finished treating him, the little Solgaleo staggering to his paws and shaking himself once he was back at full strength.

"BIG BROTHER!" cheered Nebula as she snuggled with her sibling counterpart, relieved that he was okay.

"Sis..." Nebby replied before he looked at Zossie, Mallow, Ash, and Dulse and nodded thankfully before he saw Sarah and approached her.

"Mama..." The little princess could only cry softly as she gently held Nebby and caressed him before they shared a nuzzle and a hug while she sniffed, "Thank goodness, I was worried I'd lose you forever this time..."

"Ash, Sarah!" Gladion cried, getting Sarah and Ash's attention as they turned to him as he and Silvally approached with Lunala's Z-Power Crystal at hand.

"Can you two use Nebby, Nebula, and Solgaleo's Z-Moves?"

"Yeah, I'll need Nebby and Nebula's Z-Crystals to do it!"

"Same here, I'll try!" they agreed before Nebby and Nebula's Solganium Z and Lunalium Z suddenly appeared in front of Sarah, as was the case in the battle against Eternatus, and her Sun Sword and Moon Shield hovered and grew to fit their sizes as they approached the Ultra Beasts in question.

"Whoa..."

"Does this mean...?"

Sarah blinked before she smiled knowingly as their Z-Power Crystals merged to become the Eclipsium Z and she took it in her hands before she replaced the Dragonium Z with it on her Z-Power Ring and faced Ash, "Now, we're ready. Ash, while Gladion and I perform Searing Maelstrom Eclipse Blazer and Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom, we need you to perform Searing Sunraze Smash with Solgaleo!"

"Got it! Solgaleo, please lend me your power!" Ash nodded and made his plea to Solgaleo who nodded and gave him his own Solganium Z, fastening it to his Z-Power Ring while Gladion fixed the Lunalium Z he was given to his own Z-Ring (which was upgraded to a Z-Power Ring prior to his joining the Ultra Rescue Rangers).

"Just like before!" Gladion told Ash and Sarah as they got in a triangle formation with Sarah, Nebby, and Nebula in front and Ash and Gladion behind her with Solgaleo and Lunala from her left and right.

"Got it!" Ash agreed as Sarah nodded.

"Only a worthless pack of meandering fools would face the prospect of using their Z-Moves and failing to restore my life and defeat me a second time!" scoffed Necrozma as he slowly made his way towards the trio and the Ultra Beasts just as the Ultra Space Justice League moved to surround him and cut him off so he wouldn't escape.

"We're no fools, Necrozma! We've no intention of being defeated and giving up on you and everyone else intertwined with you, and here's why," Sarah replied, showing Necrozma the Life Cosmic Infinity she brought out and the light it resonated with, shocking the Black Beast.

"The light from that orb...GIVE IT TO ME!"

"Oh, I'm gonna give it to you alright but I won't be doing it alone. Royal Orion Warrior, HUH!"

Then, in a sequence similar to the one done by Wes from Power Rangers Time Force when he received the Battle Fire and became the Red Battle Warrior, Sarah activated her upgrade from the Legendary Tree, donning its Crystal Armor amidst glimmering light and crystals and thunder and becoming the Royal Orion Warrior, featuring herself in a Battilizer inspired by the Tri-Battlized Armor used by Shane Clarke from Power Rangers Ninja Storm but in Nebby's colors and with the Ultra Sun insignia present on her torso armor's chest plate (complete with a Ground Mode and Flight Mode depending on how she goes about her future battles and her armor having two white fabric strips from both of her shoulder plates stretching down to her thighs as was the case with her Beast-X Mode) and her Element of Hope appearing on her helmet, attached to it like it was a tiara (and shrunken to look the part).

The others looked on in amazement, awe, and fascination as they gasped at the sight of Sarah in her new Battlizer but the sight and presence of the love and light the little princess now emitted in her new form enticed Necrozma as he prepared to attack her again, not caring if he has to go over Nebby, Nebula, Solglaeo, Lunala, Ash, and Gladion again to do so.

"THE LIGHT YOU'RE NOW GIVING OFF BELONGS TO ME!"

"Ash, Gladion, to me! Activate, Z-Power Rings!" Sarah called to Ash and Gladion, the two boys and her fellow rangers nodding in agreement as they activated their Z-Power Rings and performed their respective Z-Moves, charging up all the love and light they muster and channeling it through their Z-Power.

"Sun and Moon made flesh, let your love and light revive the guardian who shared his light with one and all and restore him to his true form to remain with those whom he watched over for all time!"

"Solgaleo, no holding back!"

"Brilliant eyes of the moon, shine on the labyrinth of darkness!" the three rangers recited.

"Ready!"

"Do it!" the four Ultra Beasts shouted.

"SEARING SUNRAZE SMASH!"

"MENACING MOONRAZE MAELSTROM!" Ash and Gladion finished as Solgaleo rushed forward and Lunala unleashed her ultimate power through her lasers and they hit the Black Beast.

"WAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!" Necrozma screamed as he glowed a bright yellow and was blasted back, landing on his back and right side but not given a chance to recover as Sarah, Nebby, and Nebula wrapped things up.

"SEARING MAELSTROM ECLIPSE BLAZER, IGNITE!"

"CHARGE!" Nebula and Nebby shouted as Solgaleo rushed forward and Lunala unleashed her ultimate power through her lasers, the two younger Sunne and Moone Pokemon blasting towards Necrozma with the Sun Sword and Moon Shield in their grasps as they struck him one final time.

Necrozma screamed one final time as the yellow glow he gave off became even brighter and he exploded as Nebby, his creators, and Nebula regrouped with the humans once they were done, the younger Ultra Beasts reuniting with Sarah and the heirlooms returning to their normal size before she reclaimed them. The Eclipsium Z, having completed its task once again, separated back into Nebby and Nebula's respective Z-Power Crystals before the princess' Dragonium Z retook its place on her Z-Power Ring after they were returned to their rightful owners.

"They did it!"

"They defeated Necrozma!"

"Wicked!"

"Sweet!"

"Incredible!"

"Awesome!" the Viking teens cheered once they saw everything.

Ash, Gladion, and Sarah watched with bated breath as they saw a rainbow glow coming from multiple beams underneath the smoke and saw all of Necrozma's body parts shining. Everyone gathered in Ultra Space and Poipole Fantasy watched as Necrozma reassembled himself and showed his true form, his body parts reconverging themselves to be part of some colossal dragon made out of pure light energy and a radiant light shone around him.

"I, HAVE, THE POWER!" he roared, back in his true form: Ultra Necrozma.

As Ultra Necrozma, the Prism Pokemon was truly a different Ultra Beast/Pokemon compared to how he looked as the Black Beast; his head is now surrounded by several spikes and a pair of small wings that resembled an eight-pointed star with a small lighter eight-pointed star also present on the back of his head. He now sported an armored face and had multi-colored heterochromatic eyes that originated from his Brain Prism, his left eye predominately red and his right eye predominately blue. He now has two pairs of wings, one of them around his shoulders and the other around his waist. The wings themselves were made out of light but the portions that make up his arms are made of his former legs and shoulders with his former arms now covering his lower legs and his old chest now covering his tail. He even had a long tail with a row of spikes running along the top.

Everyone was stunned and awestruck at seeing Necrozma in his true form as they gasped in wonder and even Naganadel couldn't hold back her amazement as she looked at Sarah and smiled at her and all of her friends and family with them.

"They've done it!" she smiled proudly.

"They did it!"

"They all did it!" laughed a delighted Soliera and Phyco, grateful for the return of the Blinding one thanks to their new friends and allies.

"YOU DID IT, SARAH!" Poipole cheered while her subjects looked on and chattered in shock and amazement.

"...It's finally over," Sarah declared after removing her helmet, relishing in Necrozma's renewed light and smiling at her family and friends, everybody cheering and applauding as they celebrated the return of the Blinding One.

Even Race and Sarah's Secret Dinosaurs roared in celebration before they went over to their caretakers and nudged them, the pair smiling and thanking them for their help before they were returned to their cards now that the battle against the former Black Beast was finally over and everything is back to normal for everyone involved.

As the solar eclipse was drawing to a close in Alola, the light generated by Ultra Necrozma was also seeping out from the Ultra Wormhole, further showing the success accomplished by Sarah and the others with her in Ultra Space as well as the Prism Pokemon's return as the Blinding One.

"Hey, Lusamine! We finally rescued Nebby!"

"And, Necrozma is finally back to his old self!" Ash and Lillie reported with a smile as they and the heroes quickly contacted Lusamine, Burnet, and Wicke to tell them the good news, bringing amazement and relief to them.

Now restored to his former self and with his light safely back with him, Ultra Necrozma set to work on restoring all life and light throughout Ultra Space including the worlds of the Ultra Beasts and Ultra Pillars, the flowers and grasslands blooming and skies becoming clear and bright once more. Everyone living in those worlds including Ultra Megalopolis celebrated immensely, all of them relieved and beyond happy to see that the Blinding One and his light have been returned.

"Necrozma... You're, incredible," Sarah breathed in fascination at Ultra Necrozma and his true power.

"Beautiful."

"Such radiance..."

"You said it, Brother."

"I love this place!"

"This is, amazing!"

"Fascinating..."

"It's wonderful..."

"Like a whole new world rising from the ashes," Amber, Gladion and Sarah's Silvally, Tou-Tou, Keldeo, Haze, Gale, and Aegis gawked in wonder at the renewed beauty of Ultra Space as it also touched Poipole Fantasy through Ultra Necrozma's light.

"Wow, so awesome!"

"Gorgeous!"

"So much green!"

"And, Ultra Space is full of life again!"

"Pretty!"

"Everything's gonna be okay now."

"Uh-huh," the gang and Gladion agreed as they took off their helmets and looked on in awe.

"SARAAAAAAH!" Poipole shrieked happily as she flew into Poipole's chest and hugged her. "You did it, you saved my home! I knew you could do it! I knew you would! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"I'm just happy your kingdom and your people will be able to thrive again, Poipole," Sarah smiled softly.

"We're all happy for you," Ash concurred, smiling at the Ultra Beast Princess.

"YAY, AUNTIE SARAH!" the baby Pokemon and dragons cheered as they dogpiled on Sarah and celebrated their victory while getting a laugh out of Sarah.

"UNCLE/UNCLE NEBBY!" the younger Pokemon and dragons seeing Nebby back with them and their family and friends screamed with delight as they all ganged up and latched themselves onto the younger Solgaleo who was also happy that he was reunited with them all, safe and sound.

"We were all scared for you after Necrozma absorbed you and tried to kill you after he sucked all of your light last night but Momma, Uncle Ash, and Uncle Gladion brought you back! We're so happy, Uncle! W-We, we just don't know what to say!" Cyndaquil admitted ecstatically as the younger Pokemon and dragons hugging him started to cry tears of joy.

Nebby felt like crying too as his ears welled up and he gave a joyful smile, "I'm just happy to be back with all of you and Mama..."

"...It's good to have you back alive and well. Thank you," Skiddo smiled while sniffing as his tears fell down first just as Phyco and Soliera arrived to thank the heroes and Sarah for their valiant efforts and sacrifices made to save everyone and Necrozma.

"Princess, words cannot even begin to describe how thankful we are to you all. Our Blinding One is now Ultra Necrozma once again because of the light we've all provided him and your Solgaleo is safely returned to you. Thank you so much, for everything," Soliera smiled as she and Phyco bowed to them in gratitude along with an equally-grateful Dulse and Zossie as they joined their leader and friend.

"But, still, I can't imagine how much you've all sacrificed throughout this whole ordeal because of Lothor and our ancestors. Please forgive us, for everything as well!" Phyco added, bowing apologetically.

The others smiled softly in reassurance as Mallow and Lillie replied, "What are you talking about? What happened back then was never your fault, your ancestors and Lothor along with Team Eclipse made a mistake and they alone are to blame."

"You were just unfortunate to shoulder the burden they left behind for you to carry. Now, that the Blinding One's returned, you won't have to worry about anything anymore. Your worlds and the rest of Ultra Space will be back to normal again now that his power is back because we all came together and saved him through the love and light we all share with each other."

"...You're right, it's thanks to you all that we and our entire squad are finally free from the guilt we carried for the last 500 years since the Ultra Beast War," Dulse nodded appreciatively.

"Sure, it may take a while for our team to fully get back into everyone's good graces because of our ancestors but that doesn't matter since we've nowhere else left to go but up," Zossie added.

"And, it'll be some time before all of our worlds are back to normal but I know that eventually, we'll all be awash with light again. Our people will forever be in your debt and that of the people of Alola, the light of the Z-Crystals, and your own," Soliera finished in praise.

"It's been an honor, everybody," Sarah nodded, returning a bow as Naganadel and her subjects also joined the heroes to thank them.

"They're right, you know, Princess. I must thank you all as well; my daughter's mission is a success because she reached out to all of you and through the love and light you shared with here, our world, our home, our kingdom, is safe," she replied, bowing to the heroes before she directed her attention to Sarah. "But, before you all return home, I'm afraid I must warn you, Princess; Poipole's time with you must come to an end."

Ash and the others gasped but Poipole just sighed and nodded knowingly, knowing that this is truly the end of the road for her time with Sarah.

"But, wait..."

"You're actually going to stay?"

"To return to your kingdom and protect your mother and subjects and Poipole Fantasy?" Mallow, Sophocles, and Lillie breathed, stunned but knowing what was coming regardless.

Ash, Gladion, Lana, Kiawe, Race, and everyone else remained silent as the Ultra Space Justice League and Ultra Necrozma watched on as they hovered above everyone, looking at Poipole knowingly as she made her choice.

"It's true; I only came to your world to look for help, for someone who would be able to save us and our kingdom should Necrozma ever return as the Black Beast he once was. But, now that Ultra Necrozma is back and his light is restored, my kingdom and my subjects are saved. So, it's time for me to return home and reclaim my rightful place on my mother's throne when the time comes," Poipole sadly admitted.

Sarah was devastated but she just gave a sad smile while tears welled up in her eyes, knowing that she has to let go of Poipole and allow her to return to her mother and kingdom, "I see, you really want to stay here. Your kingdom needs you now, more than ever, right?"

Poipole nodded sadly again as Altaria cooed mournfully, "No..."

The rest of Sarah's family knew the sad truth as well and they tried to stay strong for Poipole as she prepares to retake her place with her mother and people in Poipole Fantasy although some of them couldn't hold it in themselves to cry, admitting that they actually wanted her to stay even if it meant depriving the kingdom of its princess which was something they couldn't bear to live with. Ash and the others couldn't help holding back their sorrow and tears and even Gladion felt touched as he warmed to the Ultra Beast Princess even if his time with her was brief.

With that, it was time for everybody to say goodbye to Poipole before they leave for home with Ash and Pikachu going first as they joined him and she told them, "Bye, Ash, Pikachu. Good luck in the Pokemon League coming up."

"**Well, at least, we'll get some friendly competition. But, it'll be better if you join us all again for it, if you can,**" Pikachu admitted, smiling sadly as he and Ash teared up.

"Yeah... It's for the best," Ash agreed tearfully as he lowered his head, his hat hiding his eyes as he was heartbroken to leave Poipole behind. "Bye, Poipole..."

With one final Thundershock from Pikachu and a hug from both of them, Ash and Pikachu parted ways with her and allowed the others to say goodbye to her in turn with Lana immediately coming up to and embracing her while she cried as it was her turn.

"Poipole, you're the best!" she sobbed, holding Poipole tightly.

"Lana, Lana, Lana!" Poipole cried, finally breathing as Lana eased off on her tearful bear hug.

"I'm sorry...!"

"No, it's okay. I'm gonna miss you all and your bear hugs, too. But, I'll always be with you all..."

Lana nodded as she and Poipole hugged each other one last time and Sandy and Poipole shared a tearful parting embrace with her before they left, allowing Sophocles, Togedemaru, Vikavolt, Mallow, her Shaymin, Tsareena, Kiawe, Turtonator, and Pyroar to take their turn and say goodbye to her as well.

"Sophocles, Kiawe, Mallow, guys, I..." Poipole began, unsure of what to say.

"Yeah, don't worry, you'll be fine and we'll all remember you."

"We'll be fine, you be a good queen when you finally become of age and taken over, okay?"

"Don't stay away too long," Sophocles, Mallow, and Kiawe nodded tearfully as they and their Pokemon hugged and shared parting kisses, snuggles, and high-fives with her before they stood back with Gladion, his Silvally, his Umbreon, Lycanroc, Lillie, and Snowy joining her.

"Lillie, you and Gladion..." Poipole sniffed.

"I know, we're going to miss you, too. Best wishes to you, Poipole."

"Yeah, you're alright in my book. Take care of yourself, Princess Poipole," Lillie and Gladion said, sharing hugs and handshakes with them and their Pokemon.

"Bye, Poipole," cooed Snowy sadly as they parted and she and Poipole shared their last knowing smiles with each other.

"You take care of Lillie, Snowy!"

"Always have, always will!"

Then, after exchanging some final goodbyes with Sarah's family including Dart, Pouncer, Ruffrunner, the Swords of Justice, Aster, Azure, Warner, Ginger, and Spike (with the baby dragons giving her a final nuzzle), it was finally Sarah's turn to say goodbye but not before one final word between the Gigantic Pokemon and the Ultra Beast Princess.

"Well... I guess, this is it. You take care, kid, I'm gonna...well, ugh, miss you and your annoying pin head... You know, uh," Eternatus admitted, stammering a bit.

"Yeah, don't worry. I'll come and visit whenever I can, it's not the end of the world. Really, well... Good luck, Eternatus," Poipole smiled as she shared a hug with Eternatus before she turned to Sarah for their own goodbyes.

"...I wish you could stay in Alola with my family," Sarah admitted, the two of them doing her best not to cry.

"Me, too. But, we both know I can't," Poipole admitted before she thought for a moment and flew over to her mother before talking with her for a bit.

Intrigued by her daughter's request once she was finished, Naganadel nodded her approval and spoke to Phyco, the Ultra Recon Squad nodding in agreement as he smiled at Poipole and offered her a Pokeball to give to her. Thanking Phyco and her mother and taking the Pokeball, she flew back to Sarah and handed her the ball while she glowed and a ball of light appeared, floating out of her and into her former caretaker's hands, revealing itself to be a light-purple Pokemon Gem that had a white insignia of her inside it as well as a letter.

"I want you to have these and my Pokemon Gem, don't ever forget me," Poipole offered before she turned back to rejoin her mother but thought for another moment as she stopped and turned back to share one final embrace with Sarah.

"I should've told you this a long time ago when I finally told you about what happened to my mother and my kingdom before..." Poipole admitted, both of them unable to hold back their tears as they cried. "...I love you, like a second mother after my own."

Sarah couldn't hold back her tears as well as they trailed down her cheeks and nodded, "I love you, too, like my own daughter after Nebby. Even if it's impossible, I wish we can all be allowed to travel freely between Alola and Poipole Fantasy just so we can be together again..."

"Farewell, Poipole," Rotom-Dex added, saying his goodbyes to Poipole as he also tried to stay strong for her and everyone else.

Poipole nodded as she and Sarah completed their embrace and they finally parted, the heroes all ready to return home to Alola as Nebby, Nebula, Solgaleo, and Lunala led the way before the Ultra Wormhole closes and they'll all end up stuck in Poipole Fantasy for who knows how long. All the while, Poipole tearfully watched her family and friends leave while her subjects and her mother and the Ultra Recon Squad (Soliera, Dulse, Zossie, and Phyco having no objections about what was inside the Pokeball she had given to Sarah) said their goodbyes as they departed.

However, not content with saying goodbye to her family and friends from Alola without a parting gift, she steeled herself and decided to draw one last thing for them on the sand close by with her tail. As she drew, she and Sarah remembered all of the times they shared ever since she crossed over to Alola on her mission to find help to save her homeworld, her subjects, her mother, and all of Ultra Space during the gang's first mission with Buzzwole; from the moment the mischievous royal Ultra Beast met her and her family and how she became part of her Alola family to her final moments with them upon arriving in Poipole Fantasy and the leap of faith they took to rescue Nebby after Necrozma absorbed him for his light as the Black Beast.

"Sarah!" Poipole called, getting the group's attention as they saw that the royal Ultra Beast had drawn the word "Ohana" next to the faces of Sarah and herself.

Seeing this, everybody bid their final farewells to Poipole, her people, Queen Naganadel, and the Ultra Recon Squad, but to Poipole, especially as they all left Poipole Fantasy and headed for their home sweet home of Alola (with Nebby pulling his family's carriage once more and Rotom-Dex taking pictures of Poipole's final gift to Sarah).

"Farewell, Poipole. Now and forevermore, no matter what happens, you'll always be part of our Alola Ohana," Sarah whispered happily, shedding a final tear as she and Poipole shared one last farewell since she was the last one to enter the Ultra Wormhole with Winter while her friends, Solgaleo, Lunala, Nebula, Nebby, and the rest of her family entered.

Poipole also gave a tearful final farewell to her human caretaker and adoptive mother as Sarah and Winter entered the Ultra Wormhole and it closed after she received her final gift from her, knowing that they are forever family no matter how far apart they are, "...Take care."

As she looked at the area where her family and friends all departed for home, Poipole is joined by her mother, Naganadel nuzzling her gently and giving her a warm and proud motherly smile to show that she's forever proud of her just as her adoptive family and friends are. Poipole nodded as she smiled back and together, with their subjects and the Ultra Recon Squad, they continued to look into the horizon, always carrying on the renewed up their savior and her family and friends had given them with nowhere left to go but up into the future and beyond with the memories the Ultra Beast Princess will carry with her for the rest of her days. Especially as the two of them wished, from the bottom of their hearts, nothing but safety, happiness, and all the light and love they can cherish for Sarah, her family, her friends, and all of Alola...

Back in Alola, as the Manalo Festival ended and the solar eclipse was over, the heroes exited the Ultra Wormhole, the older Sunne and Moone Pokemon taking the lead and everyone else following them including Nebby as he pulled his carriage as if his time being absorbed by Necrozma during as the Black Beast never happened. The royal family, Kukui, Faba, their Pokemon, and Phoe-Phoe were joined by Lusamine, Wicke, and Burnet in the mountain valley as they witnessed the return of the Power Rangers Ultra Rescue and Nebby's safe return home.

This also meant that Team Rocket and all of their Pokemon were lying in wait for them behind Lusamine, Burnet, and Wicke's helicopter as they witnessed the heroes' return home from Poipole Fantasy and Ultra Space.

"Well, all right!"

"This is perfect! Now, we'll finally have our own Solgaleo and Lunala quartet prizes for the win!" Meowth cheered only for the trio's moment of glory to be cut short yet again as Bewear and Stufful grabbed their friends and headed back to their cave.

"Hey, easy on the two-step, Twinkle Toes!" they yelped as Bewear carried her son and friends home. "We're off with a new blast!"

But, the heroes and the Ultra Beasts with them weren't the only ones to arrive home because light soon sparkled out of the Ultra Wormhole until they materialized into an image of Ultra Necrozma (the Guardian of Ultra Space showing him like that as if he wanted to say "Thank you" to all of Alola in a way he hoped for them to understand for sharing their love and light with him to restore him back to his proper form), shocking the daylights out of everybody gathered save for the Power Rangers, their Pokemon, the Viking Teens with their own Pokemon, the young couple, and the pair's families (the mysticals safely back in the young couples' suitcases before they departed).

"It's Necrozma!" Lusamine gawked while the others looked flabbergasted and the Island Kahunas, Island Guardians, and the people of Alola looked on.

Then, Lusamine smiled warmly as she then recited, "Manalo - 'Together, we will live as one'."

Sarah also had to smile as Ultra Necrozma's image dissipated and she whispered to him, "Goodbye, Necromza, know that you're a part of our Ohana, too..."

"You gonna be okay, Sarah?" Winter asked her rider.

Poipole's mission is now complete; with Necrozma restored to his true form, his light returned, and Ultra Space along with her kingdom saved, the royal Ultra Beast can return to her royal duties to become the next queen of Poipole Fantasy. But, even though she and Sarah parted ways, they know that in their hearts, they're never far apart and their paths will cross again someday...

Sarah continued to smile as she looked down at her family, towards her friends, her Pokemon and dragons, to Race and his family, and at Nebby, Nebula, Solgaleo, and Lunala as she took out Poipole's gem and the Pokeball she was given as they glistened in the Alolan sun as she said, "...Yep. I think the future, for all of us, looks pretty bright."
