May 5th, Thursday night; we start our next adventure with our heroes to a familiar boat moored up on a dock at Hau'oli City which was the ferry that took Sarah and her friends to Poni Island for their research projects and back but not without some...unique passengers that joined them on the trip.
Do you remember...those strange creatures on the ship that carried our heroes back from Poni Island?
In a flashback, the creatures are revealed to be tiny blobs of metal that have a gold hexagonal nut with a black sphere floating in it for a head (with the spheres the creatures have acting as their only eyes and all of them having one eye apiece) and a red tail that resembles an electrical wire with two tiny plug-like protrusions at the end. When the heroes made the return trip to Melemele Island after completing their research projects, completing Ash and Sarah's final Grand Trials, and saying goodbye to Hapu, these creatures became stowaways as they hung out in the cargo hold throughout the whole trip.
Yes, those strange creatures. I wonder what they're up to right now...
After enjoying the boat ride to Melemele Island (without the heroes or anybody else's knowledge), the strange creatures made themselves at home at one of the nearby storage warehouses, happily feasting on some metal proportions and objects nearby with two of them wanting a screw that laid nearby until they began to squabble over who would take the entire screw.
One of those creatures (acting as the peacekeeper) tried to get them to stop fighting but the two squabblers didn't care and pushed it aside until it bounced onto a manhole cover. The sight of the manhole cover got the creature excited as it called out to its friends since it found another meal and as a result, some of them darted over and pushed it out of the way again, proceeding to eat the manhole cover as fast as they could until...they ate through the entire cover and fell into the sewer system down below.
The abrupt disappearance of its friends caused the oddball Pokemon to panic and look below to see what had happened to them with the rest of its group, all of them now fretting over what will happen to their friends now that they are separated from them. The oddball Pokemon tried to reassure its friends and get them to not panic as well but they crowded around it which caused them all to fall into the sewer system as well, all of them screaming with fright before they joined their startled and dazed friends.
Now reunited and hoping they don't have to go through another horrifying experience such as that again, the oddball Pokemon looked ahead and moved off a bit to try and familiarize itself with their current surroundings and the others followed. But, it wasn't long until they reached another part of the sewer system and they came across an Alolan Rattata appearing from one of the other pipes as it eyed them. The sight of the Dark Type Rattata caused them to comically fall over but their observer wasn't too pleased to see them as it had claimed its part of the sewer system as its home and didn't like the thought of intruders coming into its resting place.
"OOOOUUUUUTTTTTT!" it roared angrily, scaring the strange Pokemon as they screamed again and fled in two different directions (one group running to the left/north and the other group scrambling to the right/south with both groups having no idea where they'll end up in their panic).

Pokemon Sun & Moon - The Warrior Princess
After the nasty scare they got from the Alolan Rattata, the Pokemon group that went left/right recomposed themselves and looked around for a way out of the sewer system until they noticed another manhole cover above them. Cheering with delight at the sight of another delicacy for them to eat as well as finding a way out, the Pokemon darted quickly onto the cover with incredible agility and stamina for such tiny blobs of metal, eating away at the manhole cover and making it out into the open until...
"Mm-hmm! That shop's food was yummy and cheap!" Team Rocket's James replied happily to Meowth and Wobbuffet, catching the Pokemon's attention as the three of them went out on a lunch outing and are returning to their treehouse headquarters with a large box of metal materials.
"This island makes my happy place happier and that's without adding a penny to my name!" Meowth smiled, continuing to love Melemele Island and living on it throughout the time they spent since coming to Alola.
"And, how!" agreed Wobbuffet as he carried the box.
"And, did you know that only recently, the royal twerpette has managed to reunite with her entire royal family?"
"Who hasn't since the royal beauty and her best man showed up? They're even bigger news around here than those pesky Power Rangers, heh!"
"Case in point: this bolt! You never know it was junkyard-grade," James grinned as he took up a bolt from the box and eyed it brightly before he, Meowth, and Wobbuffet tripped and they dropped their metal supplies containing bolts and nuts.
"What did I ever do to deserve that?!" whined Meowth.
"Stop your whining and start picking up these things!" James frowned.
"Whining's more fun!"
"What he said," remarked Wobbuffet as they picked up the fallen nuts and bolts and continued on their way.
As they got on with their day, the mysterious Pokemon watched everything from their place in the manhole and had their eyes on the nuts and bolts they were carrying the whole time, cheering with excitement as they found yet another assortment of metal objects to eat. Before long, James, Wobbuffet, and Meowth returned to their team's Masalada truck and the Patient Pokemon loads the bolt and nut box on the back before they drove off, the creatures excitedly climbing onboard as they managed to get the back door open while eating some of the metal parts of the truck as they crawled inside including the door handles.
With the second group, they were searching around for their lost friends after getting away from the angry and territorial Alolan Rattata until they noticed a Magneton floating around and it spots them.
"Uh... May I lend a hand to you, children, if any?" the Magneton asked them curiously, getting the creatures' attention as they looked up at it and cried with delight as they tried to eat its metal body.
"Ng-hey! I beg your pardon! Cease your eating, I'm not your lunch menu! Grrr, very well, if you rapscallions are so hungry! THUNDERBOLT!" it snapped angrily, stunning the creatures as they fell off of it before it left them in a huff, "Ugh, no manners. No sense of respect at all, how degrading. Hmph!"
At Team Rocket's treehouse headquarters, while Bewear and her son were away on a family outing, Jessie was all alone and she went into the fridge in order to steal some of Meowth's pudding for a snack before he, James, and Meowth arrive home.
"Ta-Da! There you are, my little delectable delight!" she giggled as she carefully took the pudding and closed the fridge. " Meowth may have wanted to keep you a secret and have you all to himself but his hiding skills leave a lot to be desired. You're just begging me to take you like 'Take me, I'm yours!'."
But, just before she can indulge herself in the pudding, a familiar voice rang out, "We're back with the box!", and she was forced to hide it as Meowth, Wobbuffet, and James returned with the nut and bolt box (with the strange creatures happily indulging themselves with the building materials without them noticing).
Meowth climbed into the kitchen but he noticed Jessie acting suspiciously as she was hiding something behind his back and from the fridge and he gave a narrowed stare before he interrogated her, "What have you been pawing at?"
"Who, me?" Jessie asked as she gave an innocent whistle.
"Right, Whistler's Faker," Meowth frowned, still suspicious as he had a good idea about what she was hiding.
"Meowth! Save the detective chat for later, we need help unloading this thing now!" James called as he and Wobbuffet loaded the box and saw the load they had carried (the mysterious creatures having eaten all of their bolts and nuts and sleeping happily from their meal with Team Rocket still not in the know about them and their hungry ploy). "Phew! We bought all that?"
"IT'S GOOOOONE! My gourmet Paniola Town Pudding A La Mode special's not here! Where did it go?! I know I left it here, w-?" Meowth freaked, having gone into the fridge for a snack with his pudding until he noticed it was gone and turned to Jessie as she continued to whistle innocently, immediately realizing what she did while they were gone. "Jessie!"
"I didn't eat anything! You probably hid it from us so you could eat it by yourself without us watching and have us share a bite!" Jessie huffed while continuing to hide his pudding behind her back, causing Meowth to give her an angry yet panicked gasp as James and Wobbuffet came in and heard everything.
"Hid it?! Meowth, how could you?"
"Not cool!" they snapped jealously and dramatically at the Scratch Pokemon.
"Alright, Pudding Girl, give my pudding back and we'll call it even!" Meowth demanded angrily.
"Relax, Whisker Face, give me half of your pudding and we're good," Jessie sneered, smirking at her teammates.
"Excuse me? I deserve half of that pudding, too, thank you very much!"
"Split it here, girlfriend!" Wobbuffet and James spat, also wanting a taste of Meowth's pudding as the mysterious creatures woke up and went out of the box as they bickered over the pudding.
With the heroes, they were back at the Pokemon School and resuming their normal lives as usual, especially training in their spare time for the Alola League whenever they can. Kukui and the other adults were all sad to hear that Poipole decided to stay in her kingdom but they were happy for her and wished her nothing but the best of luck in continuing her royal duties.
It did feel strange for Sarah, her friends, and her family to continue their lives and time in Alola without Poipole as they had lived with her for the better part of a whole year or so since she first crossed over during the Buzzwole Incident. But, even so, feeling that she made the right choice to remain at home and continue her duties until she would become queen of Poipole Fantasy now that Necrozma is back to his old self and is watching over all of Ultra Space once again with his light, they decided to make the most of their lives and live on in her honor and memory.
But, there was one surprise addition to Sarah's family that is able to fill in the void she left behind; when the little princess opened the Pokeball Poipole gave her, out came another Poipole but this one was a male, and yet, he displayed the same energy and excitement that she had. Sarah nicknamed the male Poipole "Duke", and ad he was inspired by his queen and Poipole as well as seen the entire incident involving Necrozma since the heroes came to Poipole Fantasy, he decided to join Sarah and her family so as to follow in the footsteps of Poipole and Naganadel. Everybody was shocked when they found out but thankfully, after reading the letter that came with his Pokeball from the Ultra Beast princess, they warmly accepted him as one of the family.
The adults were also amazed and taken aback at the sight of Sarah's new Royal Orion Warrior mode and the Battlizer that came with it but the biggest surprise for all of them, especially Doug, was the sight of the restored Sun Sword in its new form (to which the proud royal father also decided to nickname his personal family treasure, 'Cosmic Grace'). They were also pleased to know that the Xerneas Chest did end up saving everybody when the rangers discovered the key to open it and they knew that it would be a real saving grace against Evox as well as Void Queen and Void King (even if the gang has yet to tell Devon, Zayto, and their teams about them).
It was now Wednesday morning and Sarah, Ash, Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, Lana, and Lillie were about to resume their school lessons with two new additions to their class. Race and Asha had been registered for the Pokemon School and after a surprise yet awkward greeting by Principal Oak and his Pokemon Puns, the two of them have been assigned to Prof. Kukui's class and are starting their first day with him and the others while being joined by Proud, Ziracon, Robbie, and Bella.
"Today, we'll be studying electronics. I want you all to try and build the Pokemon training machine that Sophocles designed," Kukui announced as Sophocles demonstrated this by building his trademark Pokemon Roller Trainer and Togedemaru running inside it, amazing everybody gathered.
"Not bad, Sophocles, you're really improving on it from last time," Sarah complimented.
"Yeah, that's a nice little gadget you got there," added Race.
"So, this is what your friend called a Pokemon Roller Trainer," Asha pondered as she watched Togedemaru continue to run excitedly inside it. "Looks more like a superpowered hampster wheel but it's ingenious, really."
"With all the tools you'll need to build your very own PRT right here," the Electric Type student proudly declared as he even brought a box filled with an assortment of wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers for his friends to borrow so as to build their own Roller Trainers.
"Sounds like fun!"
"Very professional."
"I'm all fired up!" Ash, Rotom-Dex, and Kiawe commented, raring to try this latest project out.
"That's a no-brainer, it'll be an easy build for me since I've been inventing things myself for a while now," Sarah replied eagerly.
"I've never done a project like this before," Mallow told Sophocles.
"Yeah, me neither," Asha awkwardly admitted as she scratched the back of her head.
"I wonder how I can even do it," Lillie pondered worriedly.
"Never fear, gang! I'll be right here to help walk you through every detail!" Sophocles reassured.
"Look at Sophocles, he's even sparkly!" Lana gushed as she saw Sophocles envisioning himself as the cool guy as he sparkled.
"That's good, you can guide us and give us pointers as we build these things," Race nodded, agreeing to the offer.
"Alright then, the most important thing for you to analyze this example of Sophocles' Pokemon Roller Trainer, or PRT for short, and understand how it works," Kukui informed as he ended his lecture and allowed the students to begin their projects.
"Right!" everybody nodded as they set to work.
Down in the Command Center, Lusamine's Clefable was dusting around the Ultra Rescue headquarters as she was doing some spring cleaning with Nikki, James, Tsukumaro, and all their Pokemon helping her out with the monumental task. With the Necrozma incident finally over, everything settled down and Diane, Johnathan, Romeo, and Juliet once again returned home to Kanto now that their family is in one piece again.
But, as they were cleaning the place up, they had no idea they were about to have some unwanted company in the form of the creatures that are still looking for their friends. They managed to slip inside without being detected and they chirped about, looking around the place with one of them spotting something before them which is the metal from one of the machines as it glistened from its shiny chrome surface. The creatures all cheered with delight and they ran towards the machine only to be immediately spotted by Absol and Lucario once they sensed them and caught them in the act.
"Hey/You lot, stop!" they barked angrily at the creatures, startling them as they ate away at the machines and froze in fright after hearing them which caught the attention of Nikki and Tsukumaro.
"Lucario?"
"What's wrong, Absol?" they asked as they and the others turned to see what the pair found and saw their unwelcome visitors eating parts of the machines and panicking now that they were caught.
"Giratina's Will-o-Wisp!?" Tsukumaro spluttered.
"What in the samhill are you little rascals doing here?" James interrogated.
"Oh, my goodness!"
"They're eating the machines!"
"They'll tear up our entire Command Center in a day or two with those big appetites of theirs!"
"If we don't stop them now, they'll eat everything made of metal in the school before Principal Oak subjects everybody to another round of his puns!"
"Grab 'em!"
"Quick!" Donna (Pikachu), Sirius, Xatu, Soro, Axew, and Bambi barked frantically.
"AAHHHHH! Scoundrels, get off, all of you! Off, off, off! Take that! And, that! And, that! And, that!" Celfable screamed as she also took notice of the metal creatures eating the machines and she swatted them off with her feather duster before stomping at them as if they were mice, making them squeal in fear of her as they tried to get away only to have her chasing them around the Command Center furiously. "Come back here! You metal-eating locus blobs! Wait 'til I get my hands on you! I'll teach you not to make a mess out of our beloved Command Center with your atrocious insubordinate appetites!"
This caused the frantic Nikki, James, and Tsukumaro as they and their Pokemon all chased after the angry Fairy Pokemon and the tiny creatures to catch them and calm her down before she could terrify them even more, "Wait! Clefable! Don't hurt them!"
"Da-da-da-da-d-HEY! Clefable! Wait, we're trying to catch them!"
"Please, Ms. Clefable! Please! Control yourself!"
"Stop, Clefable!"
"You're scaring them!"
"So, what?! It's their fault for defiling our headquarters!"
"Does it really warrant stomping on them and flattening them like pancakes just for being hungry?!"
"If they destroy this place, they'll have to answer to me and Lusamine!"
"Ms. Clefable, it's okay!"
"Yeah, Ms. Clefable, it was an accident!"
"I don't care! Those rats are going to pay for th-Huh?" Clefable spat until she noticed that the tiny hungry intruders disappeared.
"Uh...what just happened?"
"Where did they-?" Nikki and James blinked as everybody looked around for the intruders while the Pokemon in question huddled on the elevator, shivering in terror at Clefable and relieved that they managed to escape her wrath.
"What!?"
"They're gone!"
"But, where? There's no other way out of this place," Axew, Deerling, and Bambi remarked.
"Look! On the elevator!" gasped Dragonite, pointing everyone towards the elevator as they suddenly felt a jolt on the platform they were standing on and gasped, being hoisted up to the classroom.
"Oh, no!" screamed Clefable in a panic.
"They're heading for the classroom Auntie and her friends are in!" Pastry panicked.
"Now, what are we going to do?" Roxie fretted.
"We got to stop them or else they're going to have a feast out of anything made out of metal around the school!" Nikki told everyone.
"I guess this calls for a specialist's equipment as you youngsters put it," Tsukumaro noted, pulling out a smartphone in his possession and dialing Sarah's number.
Class continued for the heroes as they were continuing to plan or immediately build their Pokemon Roller Trainers and Sarah was still planning out her own miniature version of the PRT (the others still observing Sophocles' example as he walked them through its fixings), recalling the original invention Sophocles used to help her and Blitz train for their rematch with Tapu Koko until her Rotom Phone rang and it floated up to her.
"Ring, ring, ring, dudette! Ring, ring, ring, little dudette! Incoming call from your cool dude godfather, on the double," Rotom Phone buzzed, Sarah smiling in thanks for reminding her as she took him and answered Tsukumaro's call.
"Hello, Tsukumaro? What's going on?" the princess answered, unaware of the strange creatures finding themselves in the classroom and seeing the heroes before they saw Sophocles' box of tools and cheered, finding yet another meal as they ate away happily.
"Princess, thank heaven I caught you! Listen, what are you and your friends doing at this time?" Tsukumaro asked quickly.
"We're working on our own versions of Sophocles' Pokemon Roller Trainer for today's lessons, why'd you ask?"
"Well, while your adoptive mother and father and I and our Pokemon are helping Ms. Clefable with some spring cleaning in the Command Center, a small menagerie of strange creatures, Pokemon perhaps, snuck inside undetected. And, when we found them, they suddenly started eating the metal equipment like it was their dinner or something. We tried to catch them but Ms. Clefable was shocked and mad when she saw them that she wound up terrifying them and they jumped into the elevator so they'll be with you all in the classroom right now."
"Eating the equipment, are you serious?"
"Of course, just be on the lookout for them if they find any metal objects that they take their fancy to. I'm afraid those little devils are going to be more trouble than they're worth with their horrendous appetites for anything made out of steel."
As Sarah and Tsukumaro talked over the phone about the strange creatures, everyone else was still oblivious to what they were discussing and the creatures in question as they continued to watch Sophocles' demonstration on how he built his PRT.
"Hey, Ash, pass me the box end wrench," the Electric Type student asked his Kanto friend.
"Sure. Now, let's see, which one's a box end wrench?" Ash nodded as he went to the toolbox and looked for a box end wrench while the strange Pokemon eating the tools turned to him in surprise before he pulled out a line wrench. "Is it this one?"
"That's a line wrench," sighed Sophocles before Ash then pulled out an adjustable wrench, annoying him.
"This one!"
"Ash, that's an adjustable wrench!"
"You mean, this!" smiled Lana, handing him the wrench he needed and he smiled. "First prize!"
"That was amazing!"
"Nice work, kid," Mallow and Asha complimented Lana, who chuckled humbly.
"Now, Lillie, please get a hex nut," Sophocles asked Lillie.
"Sure," Lillie nodded as she went to the toolbox before she was joined by Sarah and the little princess quickly stopped her, staring suspiciously at what was inside the toolbox, looking at the contents in it.
"What's wrong, Sarah?" the Ice Type student pondered as Sarah gently shushed her and held up one of the strange creatures sleeping inside it, directing her best friend to the others as they went over and showed it to them and Sophocles.
"Sophocles, did you have a hex nut looking like this? 'Cause I don't remember them being this big let alone having a strange body and a wire for a tail if it's some sort of creature," the princess pointed out as she held the creature she was holding in front of her before handing it to Lillie so she can see.
"Uh, no, Sarah. I have tons of hex nuts back home but I don't remember any of them being that big," Sophocles replied, confused.
"Something's dangling from the bottom of it," Lillie noted, seeing the creature's blobby yet solid body below its hex nut head.
"What is that? It's kinda squishy."
"Let me try!"
"Me, too!" Ash, Mallow, and Lana said, poking at its body.
The creature Lillie was holding, however, started to sweat heavily as it was now terrified by the attention it was getting and how the humans touching and feeling it all over started to fawn over it. Mallow, Lana, and Ash even went as far as to scare it even more as they continued poking it and giving its wire tail a slight tug, making it want to cry and panic as it squeaked beggingly for them to stop but to no avail.
"Uh, guys, I don't think..." Sarah began.
"What's this ball all about?" chuckled Kiawe, fiddling with its eye until finally, it had enough and let out a panicked retaliatory Flash Cannon that hit one of the pillars in the classroom and finally stopped the five students as they and Sarah stared dumbfounded at this until her five friends...
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
Having finally spooked everyone with its Flash Cannon attack as they all rounded up on the creature and it fell onto the ground with a "D'oh! Uh...", nobody knew what to say next as they just stared at it in horror, completely flabbergasted as they couldn't tell what kind of creature it is let alone find out if it was even a Pokemon to begin with. Even Sarah was taken aback along with Asha and Race that the creature was able to know a powerful attack such as Flash Cannon without leveling up and evolving or learning the move itself.
"What is that thing?!"
"Crazy!"
"No, more like, creepy! It's scary and weird looking!" Dart and her brothers freaked, huddling close to their equally-flabbergasted parents.
"Cool!" Duke squeaked excitedly, floating toward the creature and laughing in amazement at it as he gently poked at it but not as much.
"Flash Cannon?!"
"It can't be a Pokemon!"
"But, it has to be a Pokemon since it knows how to use it!"
"No Pokemon should be able to learn Flash Cannon without evolving and leveling up or learning via something like a TM!" Star and Keldeo argued, equally taken aback as the rest.
"Now, this is something I've never seen in my life, both old and reincarnated," blinked Asha, still stunned.
"But, where did it come from?"
"And, how did it end up here in the first place?" Bella and Proud questioned.
"Hmm, let me check my data," Rotom-Dex suggested as he took a picture and scanned the creature only to find nothing about it. "...No data, no data!"
"I've never seen one before," Kukui remarked, looking just as flabbergasted as his students and the Pokemon and dragons.
This got Lillie surprised as she broke out of her spooked stupor and realized that their teacher might have a good point, "Do you think we might actually be the very first ones to witness a new kind of Pokemon?"
"Then, this is an important discovery!" Rotom-Dex concurred, agreeing with the theory about the creature being a Pokemon.
"I'm positive this Pokemon isn't recorded anywhere in any archives by Pokemon Professors past and present. Not even Kukui knows about them and I doubt the great Professor Oak in Kanto would have any idea what kind of Pokemon it is," Asha nodded thoughtfully.
"Whoa, look at that! There are tons of them in there!" gasped Sophocles in surprise, seeing the creatures' friends sighing with contentment and then looking curiously at the heroes after eating the wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers Sophocles had brought with them for their PRT projects.
"Wow! Did you see how very few or any tools there now are in that box with them inside?"
"Oh, man..."
"Cool..."
"Every human wrench, plier, and screwdriver we can see before in that thing, gone," Dusk, Luna, Whisker, and Andres gaped along with the others.
"I can't believe they did that."
"Those little buggers must be really hungry if they were to eat the entire toolbox out Sophocles brought of house and home," Torch and Orpheus admitted, blinking at the strange Pokemon in surprise.
"Groovy, dudes! New Pokemon!" Sandy smiled brightly before he started to tackle the box and get the strange Pokemon to play with him, annoying the Pokemon as they became agitated from his roughhousing. "Play! Play...!"
"What are you doing?!"
"Son, no! Don't do that!"
"Honey, stop that! They're not liki-!" Lana, Boltund, and Delcatty shrieked, scolding Sandy but being too late to stop him in time before the aggravated Pokemon stacked on top of each other and prepared to fire a combined Flash Cannon at the energetic Eevee. "LOOK OUT/AAAHHH/SANDY!"
"Pikachu, Electroweb!" Ash shouted, having Pikachu use Electroweb to save Sandy before he was blasted, bringing relief to Lana, Boltund, and Delcatty as Lana thanked, the Kanto duo, "Wow, thanks, Ash and Pikachu!"
"Young man!" Boltund began as Sandy winced until he gently nuzzled his son and warned him, "Son, you know better than to do that."
"Sandy, my little baby! Thank Arceus, please don't do anything reckless like that again! You'll end up giving me a heart attack someday," Delcatty added, babying his son frantically yet relieved he was unharmed thanks to Ash and Pikachu. "Please know that there are some Pokemon like those little darlings that don't take too kindly to the actions of others including yours. Try to remember that next time."
"...Sorry, Mommy, Daddy," Sandy whimpered, bowing apologetically.
"They appear to only attack when they become over-stimulated. We better take care around them so as not to annoy or scare them like that," Kukui noted, recognizing how antsy they were to their being banged about and annoyed or scared moments before.
"When it comes to wild Pokemon, I've got a ton of experience from working on my family's ranch," Kiawe replied, coming up to the Pokemon as he grinned at them and attempted to soothe the one on top of the others as he petted it. "Ooh, it's such a cutie pie, aww! See, you're alright, good little Pokemon."
The new Pokemon, however, grew annoyed about being fawned over like a baby, narrowing its eye and sparking its tail before the others followed its lead and they all fired a quick little Thundershock attack on him, causing him to flop and flail in panic and pain. Everyone was flabbergasted again as they weren't expecting them to learn Thundershock with enough power to shock a person to make Kiawe leave them alone and not bother them.
"WAAAHHH! OW! HEY, THAT HURT!"
"They use Electric Type attacks, too!" Ash gasped.
"What a discovery!" Lillie cheered, immediately taking notes as Kiawe wheezed, "Sure, easy for you to say..."
"Well, I guess we now know what aggravates those guys and it's either being annoyed from being babied or banged about and being scared from being treated like a new toy," Race groaned at the Pokemon's assault.
"That's a fine 'Hello, and how do you do?' they pulled there," Asha frowned, glaring at the Pokemon.
However, when Sophocles looked back at the toolbox and the contents inside it, he was shocked to discover that all of his metal tools and parts for the group's PRT projects safe for the screwdriver handles are gone, "Huh?! The metal from the screwdrivers is missing! And, the nuts and bolts I brought with me for our projects are gone, too!"
"They're all gone, really gone!"
"Good heavens!"
"We got to stop them from having seconds should they try to follow us home and they eat every metal thing out of house and home in this region," Skiddo, Aurequine, and Inferhound remarked.
"Do you think those little ones could've eaten them all while we weren't looking?"
"Does that mean that they eat metal?"
"Maybe they're a Steel Type, you think?" Mallow, Lillie, and Lana theorized, growing more and more curious about the strange Pokemon as Ash knelt down at the curious Pokemon with a line wrench in his hand.
"So, where did you guys come from, anyway?" he asked the Pokemon, all of them looking at him curiously yet blankly before he offers the line wrench he has to them. "Here, wanna eat it?"
The mysterious Pokemon cheered again as they crowded excitedly around the wrench and began to eat it with their veracious appetites, getting a smile out of Ash as he laughed, "Hey, they do!"
"I wonder if those red cords that are waggling around on their bodies could be some kind of a tail only they have," Lillie pondered, looking at the Pokemon's tails.
"Hey, maybe they're happy," Ash simply said.
"Happy, eh? Hmm..." Pikachu thought as he wagged his tail while examining it and compared it to the Pokemon's wire-like tails.
"And, maybe that black ball in the center of those hex nuts they have for heads is their eye?" Kiawe added, seeing the eyeballs (which are their only main form of astute visual expression as far as they can tell).
"Where, where?" Sophocles asked, trying to see.
"Those black balls float, why's that?" Lana asked just as Nikki, James, and Tsukumaro arrived.
"Ah, Princess, I see you all finally met our unexpected company that paid a visit to the school and our Command Center just for a feast," Tsukumaro remarked, seeing the mysterious Pokemon continuing to eat the line wrench given to them with a suspicious frown.
"Yeah, those little guys are really something. Apparently, they ate all of the tools Sophocles brought behind our backs including the nuts and bolts we needed for our projects today," Sarah nodded
"Oh, dear, I guess their appetites are not limited to our Command Center's machinery," Nikki blinked before she frowned.
"How did they even get into the school or our Command Center, anyway?" Cyndaquil pondered.
"Tsukumaro called me minutes ago and he said that they somehow snuck into the Command Center without warning behind their backs. As soon as they were inside, they started eating away at the machinery before they and Clefable found them and chased them before they ended up here," the princess answered before everybody cried out in horror as they heard the Pokemon chattering before they laid their eyes on the Sun Sword and Moon Shield on her desk.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" the gang and Kukui screamed, terrified as they saw the Pokemon crawling towards them.
"Oh, no!" Nikki and James freaked.
"You little monsters! Don't you dare defile My Lord and Lady's treasures!" Tsukumaro snapped furiously, seeing the Pokemon drool with delight over the Royal Family heirlooms before they squealed excitedly and ran to Sarah's desk to eat them.
"AHHHH! What are you-?! Stop that! My family heirlooms, leave them alone! My parents will kill me if you eat them!" Sarah shrieked as she frantically tried to swat them off in her panic, unable to stop them from coming at her family heirlooms as they tried to eat them.
As they continued to eat, the Moon Shield didn't take too kindly to them and produced a shield that blocked and electrocuted them, dislodging them and making them angry over being denied another meal.
They looked around for another metal object to eat as they were still hungry, wanting to let off some steam from the Moon Shield shocking and blocking them from eating it and the Sun Sword. But, what they found for their next lunch was to be their next unfortunate target and it was not one everybody was hoping for because the next one they found got excited over was Magearna as she played with the baby dragons joining her charge and their friends in the classroom. The royal Artificial Pokemon heard their hungry cries and when she turned to see them beginning to drool while creeping for her...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" she screamed in terror as the creatures chased after her, preparing to eat her while she scrambled around the classroom to try and lose them only for them to continue chasing her.
"MAGEARNA!" Sarah and everyone else screamed in horror as Magearna ran about and begged everybody, "Princess, help! Quick! Anybody, SAVE ME! What Pokemon Types are Steel Types weak against?!"
"I got it, Ms. Magearna! Hi Ho Poison Jab, away!" Duke reassured as he brought out his middle needle and it glowed, striking several of the Pokemon to stop them which sadly got them even more agitated as Poison Jab annoyed them and they retaliated with Flash Cannon, this time making a successful hit on Duke as he yelled in pain as he hit the ground, "AUGHHHHH!"
"Duke/Duke/Duke!" screamed Sarah and her family while the others and Kukui cried out in alarm and shock.
"I'll teach you, you meanies! DOUBLE SLAP TO THE RESCUE, NYA-NYA-NYA-NYA-NYA-NYA-NYA-NYA!" Skitty cooed with a roar, coming to Duke's rescue as she gave the Pokemon a hard Double Slap barrage, knocking them away before going to Duke and nuzzling him as he recovered. "Are you okay, Mr. Dukey?"
"Hey, Skitty! What was that for?!" Ash snapped angrily at the Kitten Pokemon as she glared angrily at the strange Pokemon. "You didn't have to hit them that hard!"
"Excuse me? My heirlooms were being or about to be eaten by those walking nut blobs before Mom's Moon Shield saved itself and the Sun Sword and they attacked Duke when he tried to protect my guardian before she could be their next meal! And, after Skitty managed to save him using Double Slap, you're more worried about them instead of my family's treasures? How are you going to explain to Mom and Dad the creatures' eating my family heirlooms should I be forced to tell them?!" Sarah shrieked, feeling exasperated as the Moon Shield brought down its force field.
"Er..." Ash faltered before he slumped down in defeat, realizing that Sarah had a point. "Oh, man, you're right..."
"Phew, that was close. I don't want to be on the receiving end of Doug and Delilah's wrath should their heirlooms and Magearna be destroyed simply by those Pokemon eating them," Kukui breathed with relief as the others nodded in agreement while Sarah went to Magearna to comfort her terrified Steel/Fairy Type.
"Well, one thing's for sure. I am NOT taking those little guys home with us, any of you are welcome to have them."
"Thank you!" Nikki and James sighed with relief, irking Sarah as she rolled her eyes at her adoptive parents.
"On the bright side, there's something else we can confirm," Rotom-Dex reassured, remembering Duke's Poison Jab attack being ineffective against the strange Pokemon. "None of the Pokemon seemed to be affected by Duke's Poison Jab attack so this confirms that they're Steel Types."
"There's just one thing that bothers me now that I look at them, though. Why are their eyes floating around in the holes in their hex nut heads?" Asha reminded.
"Maybe it's magnetism. Hold on, I got an electromagnet that can help," Sophocles hypothesized, bringing out an electromagnet he brought with him and turning it on, drawing the creatures to it as they laughed happily, further shocking the heroes and Kukui. "Ready? On!"
"So, they must be Steel Type," Lana stated curiously.
"It sounds like it's a lot of fun," Ash smiled as Sophocles turned off the magnet and the creatures came off.
Kiawe's family's Alolan Marowak (who decided to come with Kiawe, Pyroar, and Turtonator to school for the day) grew impressed before he tapped his bone on his head, lighting it up and performing a dance with it, much to the confusion of Sarah's Totem Marowak and everyone else watching him.
"What in Tapu Lele's name are you doing?" Totem Marowak asked the younger Bone Keeper Pokemon.
"Kiawe, what's your Marowak even doing with his bone?" Sarah pondered to the Fire Type student.
"Hey, I know! It's Marowak's welcome dance, yeah!" Kiawe recognized with a cheer as his family's Marowak continued to spin his bone while chanting and dancing, tossing his bone at points to make some impressive tricks, impressing everybody as he welcomed the creatures to Alola.
This got the attention of the little creatures as they got close next to him but as he continued his dance, Kiawe's Marowak had no idea that the strange Pokemon had gotten too close to the flames on his bone as he spun it around and the flames on both ends got hotter and hotter. To her surprise and then horror when she noticed how close they were to Marowak and his bone while he danced, they were starting to overheat from being so close to his bone as they glowed red from their hex nut heads.
"Oh, no... Wait, you guys! Back off, get out of the way or you'll-!" Sarah cried in alarm to them but ended up being too late as the creatures burned up and...
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH! HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT...!" the Pokemon screamed in pained panic from their overheating as they all took to the hills away from the school, horrifying everybody. "WAAAAH!"
"...Burn up," Sarah faltered as she gave an exasperated face-palm.
"There they go..."
"Should've seen that one coming," Race and Ash remarked as Marowak got a hard bone to the head from a very disappointed Totem Marowak.
Returning to Team Rocket's headquarters, the villains and their Pokemon were finally able to negotiate a deal on how to eat Meowth's pudding with Jessie, Wobbuffet, and James getting the fruit and Mareanie and Mimikyu getting the pudding itself in two halves. Meowth, on the other hand, got nothing as they all felt like he deserved to have no piece whatsoever after they were all in the know about his hiding the good stuff from them.
"Bon Appetit/Bon Appetit!"
With that, the five Team Rocket members gleefully ate their respective parts but all Meowth could do was sulk in his misery as he griped, "Mmm, it feels like forever since I've eaten a good meal. Like I haven't eaten, at all..."
"That's exactly why I said you should've split the whole thing with the rest of us, 50-50!" Jessie barked indignantly.
"Having the whole thing myself and you getting your own would've made it twice as yummy!"
"Now, now, everybody, happy place," James pacified. "We all got a piece of the pudding so no harm, no foul, okay?"
"But, you did remember to buy all those parts we ordered earlier, didn't you?"
"Indeed! Great parts for our equipment, all at a pauper's price! See there, it looks so-" James turned to show Jessie the parts he, Meowth, and Wobbuffet brought home only to discover that the box was empty (due to the strange Pokemon that trailed the trio having eaten them before unbeknownst to them). "WAAAAHH! Empty, all of them, gone?!"
"But, how can that be?! That just isn't possible!" Meowth freaked, realizing what had happened behind their backs, too.
"Ugh, honestly. You boys obviously must've dumped them out because they were low quality," Jessie dismissed, unconvinced.
"Pulease! The last time I checked, they were right in the box and-HUH?!" James retorted as he turned and discovered that their Pokemon Bazooka Catcher was destroyed with the metal gone and only the net remained.
"DAAAAAAHHHHHH! WHAT A MESS!"
"Who could've done that?" Meowth and Jessie panicked.
Then, they heard some chirping coming around them and they immediately realized who or what the guilty ones were, "Pokemon?!"
"Guilty Pokemon!"
With Wobbuffet, Mareanie, and Mimikyu's help, Jessie, James, and Meowth began their search for the mysterious Pokemon as they looked all around including from behind the bookcase, within their storage level, the top floor, and so on. But, despite their best efforts, they couldn't find them anywhere. Regardless, they pressed on with their search as James then resorted to looking behind the fridge to see if they were about.
"Get out here!"
What they didn't know, however, was that one of the mysterious Pokemon heard and eyed them from underneath their supercomputer as it and its friends were having a field day eating the internal electronics inside it for their next meal. It then noticed a treasure chest to its left and called its friends over to join it, all of them waddling towards the chest and opening it to reveal James' bottle cap collection. Excited and thinking the caps were made of metal, they began to eat them only for one of them to choke on one and spit it out, the clink from it hitting something catching James' attention as he looked over and screamed in absolute horror.
"Huh/What's up?" puzzled Jessie and Meowth, turning to him.
"SOMEONE OR SOMETHING'S GONE INTO MY PREVIOUS BOTTLE CAP COLLECTION! OH! NOT IT! Not my rare 'melon-juice-pulled-from-the-shelf-after-three days-on-sale' cap! They can't do this to me, I tell you! I'll make them pay for this! Just wait, you bottle cap destroyer menaces! I'll take you to court! And, when I do, I'll make sure you-Hmm? GOT IT-Uh?"
James stopped ranting as he finally got the cap he was looking for but he noticed it was eaten as well and he immediately burst into tears, "NOOOOO! My beloved melon juice cap! It's half the cap it used to be! OH! WHY!"
Meowth growled as he then said, "I wouldn't be surprised if those sneaks did all this, really."
"You may be right but where could those crooks be? They couldn't have gotten away that fast, could they?" Jessie pondered.
But, just as Team Rocket was about to think again and figure out where else they could've got to in their headquarters, they heard some strange sounds coming from their main command holographic table. James quickly bolted over and lifted the top of the table and to their surprise, there were the strange Pokemon, all of them sleeping contentively after making a mess out of the table's wiring that they've eaten.
"What a mess! It's part pudding surprisng," Meowth gawked, obviously having never seen the strange Pokemon before.
"What?" Jessie puzzled again as she took one of the sleeping creatures and examined it before showing it to her teammates as she quizzed, "Hey, look at this. Did you guys buy this among the parts that were being sold?"
"Nope, no way! Look here, you!" Now, tell me this, are you the ones who are guilty of melting both my bottle caps and our equipment? Spill it! Now! James demanded as he grabbed the creature and interrogated it, causing it to wake up from his rough treatment of it.
That woke the creature in his hands up as it fired Flash Cannon past him and hit the screen of their own supercomputer, scaring the trio and their Pokemon as they screamed and forcing James to drop it. This also woke the other creatures up as the one James interrogated landed on its friends and screamed as well once they saw the klutzy villains, scared out of their wits before they ran out of the exit ladder, much to Meowth's horror as his eyes bugged out at their escaping.
"Hold it right where you are, you little blobs of stomachaches!" he cried but to no avail as they all continued running.
Back at the Pokemon School, the gang's lesson is put on hold for them to find the missing new Pokemon, all of them deeply worried about what could've happened to them after they ran off in their panic and pain.
"Where could they all have gone?" Ash asked.
"If those creatures really are a new kind of Pokemon nobody knows of, I want to be sure to enter them into my database," Rotom-Dex exclaimed though he gave a jealous glare at Sarah and Rotoscope looking around as he impled about the Rotom Phone, "Though, it would be far better if we actually had someone who knows a thing or two about that Pokemon if it is a new Pokemon or not..."
"Hey, Rotoscope, do you know anything about this Pokemon in your databanks? I'm having a hard time trying to work out what it is," Sarah gulped at her Rotom Phone (which she nicknamed 'Rotoscope' so as not to confuse her Rotom Phone with the Living Pokedex), not wanting to know what'll happen if she and the others find one of the new Pokemon and knowing if they'll use Flash Cannon or Thundershock on them again.
But, all she got from Rotoscope was, "Now, hold on there, little lady. Don't go spoil the surprise there, I know nothing about them cute little dudes that waddled out of the school like it was summer vacation or something. Even if I do have anything in my databanks about them, how can you expect to know more about them when you don't get the experience to learn more about them hands-on?"
Sarah deadpanned with a sweatdrop as she replied, "You have a point, man, but still..."
Kukui smiled warmly and sympathetically as he came over to Sarah and patted her shoulder reassuringly before addressing everyone, "I'm sure we'll find out what or who they are and if there really is any information from other professors about them. But, first, everybody split up and search for them! Keep your eyes open and yell if you see any of them!"
"Right!" everybody agreed even though Sarah and her family were still on the fence about the creatures.
However, one of the creatures that ran off in fright and pain was the oddball Pokemon from before as it entered the classroom again while nobody was looking and saw Ash's Rowlet sleeping peacefully on the rail, still without a care in the world.
Curious about Ash's Alolan Grass Type, it crawled onto the railing and looked at him as he snored in his sleep and fascinated by what it was seeing out of him (unknowingly making a new friend in the process), he decided to follow his lead and take a nap as well, yawning and snoring peacefully and in tune with the Grass Quill Pokemon. But, it didn't last long because Rowlet soon woke up as he looked down noticed the strange Pokemon napping with him before it also woke up moments later and turned to him.
Rowlet and the strange Pokemon looked at each other but the latter felt awkward and terrified that it was spotted as it tried to answer, "Huh? Uh..."
Naturally, as with the other creatures it was once with, the oddball Pokemon panicked but at that moment, it lost its hex nut head as it fell off of its body and landed on the roof, much to its horror.
"AHHH! No, no! My head! My head! I can't see anything or go anywhere without it!"
That wasn't the worst of it for the poor Pokemon because a nearby Murkow appeared as it was passing by and noticed the hex nut head shining in the sunlight as it tried to go for it, "Hm? Oh, shiny... It's mine!"
"EEK! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! Not my head, don't do it! Please! It's mine! NO!" screamed the terrified Pokemon as the Murkrow got closer to its head.
"Gotcha!" Rowlet cooed, managing to snatch the hex nut head just in time before the Murkrow could get it before returning to the Pokemon and kindly giving it to his new friend. "Here you are, little fella."
The strange Pokemon squeaked tearfully, filled with gratitude at its new friend for saving its head. Rowlet cooed happily at its new friend and how happy it felt before, to its surprise and confusion, he flew off to Ash's backpack for another nap making it tilt its head curiously at him.
But, the other strange creatures like it were not having the time of their lives as they were still on the run from an angry Team Rocket chasing after them.
"Slow down!"
"Better yet, stop right there!" Jessie and Meowth called as the strange Pokemon were nearly out of the jungle before they were cut off by James.
"You heard them! You got a lot to answer for after ruining everything we worked for! FOR MY BEAUTIFUL BOTTLE CAPS, PREPARE TO FEEL MY WRATH!" James barked angrily, terrifying the strange Pokemon more as they tried to run again only to be cut off again by Meowth, Jessie, Meowth, Mareanie, and Mimikyu.
"And, for messing with my dough!" snarled Meowth as he furiously prepared his Fury Swipes attack for much needed payback.
All that did, however, was cause the strange Pokemon to once agian chirp in their panic, "Gotta eat! Gotta eat, gotta eat! Let's go, let's go, let's go!"
"Translation, please," James huffed to Meowth.
"'Gotta eat, let's go!', stuff like that. There's not much more to it."
"Hmm, I wonder... If we can mark them as some new type of Pokemon nobody's ever laid eyes on, we'd strike it rich at last, right? Instant bucket of bucks, right off the bat! And, if we add the princess and her family's treasure trove of Pokemon, we'll be in the big leagues!" Jessie smirked, now seeing the potential benefits of what they could do with the strange Pokemon.
"Ooh, I like your style, kid," smirked Wobbuffet, also agreeing to her plan.
"Save it! Worry about the dough we'll get for these pussynuts and the royal twerpette later and focus on the real predicament! Right now, it's payback time! Mareanie!" James barked, allowing his partner to attack.
"Yeah, ready!" Mareanie happily cried before attaching herself to James, her crush on him still strong as he wobbled and panicked like crazy as if he was being poisoned by her spikes (and not seeing her affection for him the same way).
"Mimkyu, use Shadow Ball!" Jessie smirked, only for Mimikyu to let out a tiny Shadow Ball as it lacked its fighting spirit for it could tell that the strange Pokemon weren't anything like Pikachu, Bella, and Blitz.
Jessie and Meowth could only sweatdrop in embarrassment as they realized why Mimikyu was so uninterested in battling the strange Pokemon, "Uh, that's nothing but a tiny Shadow Ball."
"Mmm... Unless its battle the twerps' three Pikachu, it doesn't get worked up."
But, James didn't care as he managed to wrench his lovestruck Mareanie off of him after he got poisoned beofre he ordered her to attack the strange creatures for real and Team Rocket got back in the fight after the awkward moment with Mimikyu, "Now, where was I? Oh, yeah. MAREANIE, USE SPIKE CANNON!"
"Ready, set...FIRE!" Mareanie screeched as she finally fired her Spike Cannon attack at the strange Pokemon as it made impact and they were hit.
"I'm gonna net all of you bunch of troublemaking nuts for what you've done to humilate me!" Meowth added as he tossed the net he brought with him on the nut creatures but they ended up being so irriated from the craziness they're going through that they finally had enough and used Flash Cannon to destroy it. "WAH!?"
Now, they were madder than they already were and this time, they were ready to finish this fight as the strange Pokemon prepared to unleash a final Flash Cannon at the evil group for the suffering and panicking they had to go through.
"Here we go again," Meowth frowned fearfully as Jessie and James also let off frightened yelps before they eventually fired.
With a loud and violent "BOOM", the Flash Cannon hit but as the smoke cleared, Team Rocket was saved and when they discovered a familiar motherly Pokemon and her son in front of the trio, protecting them from the blast with her size and power with her son smiling as he sat atop his mother's tail.
"Hi, guys," Stufful greeted his extended family.
"It's Bewear!" they cried in surprise just as Bewear let out a mad shriek, scaring the Pokemon as they screamed in utter fear of her and they ran away for their lives much to the delight of Team Rocket as they saw what it meant.
"Yay! Good riddance!"
"Don't hit a tree trunk on your way out!"
"Don't plan to write!" Jessie, James, and Wobbuffet smirked as the strange Pokemon scurried off only for Meowth to realize their mistake as he pleaded to Bewear, "Dah! Hold on, without those little junkies, we won't be able to claim our stash of cash! After them!"
He tried to go after them but Bewear blocked his path as he told him, "No, you don't, honey bun. Time to go home, I think you all had a busy day with our unexpected house guests, especially since we have that big mess they left behind for us to clean up."
And so, Bewear walked away with Team Rocket in her arms and Stufful playfully spanking Meowth's bottom as they all headed for home.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow," Meowth yelped monotonely as he, Jessie, Wobbuffet, and James weakly whined, "We're off with a new blast."
"Yet again, ugh..."
As the heroes continued their search for the strange creatures on their end (although they're also unbeknowst of Rowlet's new friend after it took a shine to him after he saved its head from the wild Murkrow), their own runaways climbed their way up the roof after regrouping. It looked as though something atop the school had drawn their attention and if it's made of metal, then its worth eating to try and satisfy their endless appetites given the bottomless pits that they are.
"What the...? Hey, buddy!" Pikachu said, getting Ash's attention. "On the roof!"
"Whoa! You mean, they're all the way over there?!" Ash gawked in shock, seeing the creatures blitz their way to the top where the school bell and Komala were and getting everybody else's attention.
"It's true!"
"That's the tower where the school bell and Komala are! What are they trying to do?" Kiawe and Race gasped as the humans, Rotoscope, and Rotom-Dex raced off.
"Not cool!"
"I pray to Arceus they don't try to ruin the school bell by eating it!" Draco and Virizion cried, concerned.
"Why would they be up here?" Ash pondered after he and the others reached the bell and eyed the creatures as Sarah suddenly realized what they about to do as they eyed the bell with glee.
"Uh, guys... Since the bell's made of metal, has anybody thought of making it nut-proof regarding these guys?" Sarah gulped fearfully as the hex nut creatures squealed in excitement, preparing to eat the bell as everybody gasps in horror yet again after recognizing Sarah's fears.
"You're not allowed to eat that bell!" Sophocles exclaimed, fearing the worst.
"Don't you dare try to defile that bell, you little nuisances!" Tsukumaro growled, scolding them.
The creatures didn't listen and they prepared to eat the bell but before they could do so, seemingly realizing that he had some unwanted guests in his home and knowing what he had to do (all while he's still asleep, no less), Komala appeared and rang the bell loudly as everybody withing close range of the bell were forced to cover their ears.
"MY EARS/AAAHHH/AUUUUUUUGH!"
The bell ringing also had an effect on the hex nut creatures as they shivered from the sound waves blissfully and they suddenly spun their heads around like a series of tops, making a strange whirlling sound in the process.
"Now, what are those metal-eating phirana pests doing?" Magearna huffed, being surprisingly blunt for the first time despite her normally formal manner.
"What exactly are they making that sound for?"
"They're resonating!" Kiawe and Kukui remarked once everybody had recovered and looked at the creatures in confusion.
"This is worth writing down, no doubt!" Lillie said, quickly writing down in her notebook.
"Amazing," Lana breathed with intrigue. "Wouldn't that make them dizzy?"
"I doubt that since they've been quite aware of themselves throughout this whole time they're here, Ms. Lana," Tsukumaro commented.
"There's gotta be a reason for that," pondered Mallow, trying to make sense of the creatures' actions.
The hex nut creatures continued to spin their heads and develop the whirling sound they're making which sounded more like a call that got out to the other group in the forest as they heard it, climbled up a tree, and made a similar call out to the creatures they're looking for, alerting them to their presence. The group of creatures at the Pokemon School suddenly heard the call they were looking for and realizing where their friends are, they jumped and toddled down the roof as the heroes gasped and watch them leave.
"Good riddance!"
"And, stay out, you troublesome trucks for rodents!" James, Nikki, and Tsukumaro huffed, hoping they never have to deal with them again.
"There they go," Ash frowned.
"*And, I won't miss them a single bit, so insufferable,*" Magearna huffed in angered relief, prompting Kukui to chuckle and pat her head reassuringly before he turned to Rotom-Dex.
"True, at least they won't be bothering us with their appetites for a while. But, you still gathered a lot of data while they're here, didn't you?"
"I'm data-filled!" Rotom-Dex saluted proudly, satisfied with what he and the others have discovered as Komala rang the bell again to tell everyone school is out again and it's time to go home once they went back to the classroom to mull over the new creatures and what they found out about them.
"Hey, Rowlet! There you are!" Ash smiled as he found Rowlet in his backpack. "Come on, buddy, we're going home."
"Hey, Ash, you might want to tell Prof. Burnet about this when you get home and make sure you call Professor Oak to see what he thinks about them. In the meantime, we need a break and I gotta get to work on our assignment for today, later," Sarah replied, she, James, Nikki, Tsukumaro, and Magearna rejoining the rest of their family and leaving the others and Kukui to their own devices.
"See ya later!" Ash grinned.
That evening, Ash and Kukui returned home and after telling Burnet everything, they called Professor Oak to tell him the news.
"Hello, Professor!" Ash greeted as Professor Oak appeared on the TV screen, the Kanto Trainer and Alola Professor hoping he can help them figure out what the strange creatures were.
"Oh, it's you, Ash! Hello, everyone!" Professor Oak smiled, looking expectantly and knowingly at Ash. "What's gotten you all so worked up today?"
"I think we might have found something really amazing! Rotom's sending the data right now," Ash answered as Rotom-Dex placed his right arm to a cell phone linking the call to the TV and sent the data the gang created to the Kanto Professor's lab back in Pallet Town.
Professor Oak was intrigued by the data he was given and of the picture of the creature that showed him exactly what it was while he sat down on his computer, being joined by one of Ash's old Pokemon, Muk, as she watched before the data gathered on the new Pokemon showed up on his computer monitor.
"Hmm? Oh! What's this?" he inquired in surprise.
"See? It must be a new type of Pokemon, one I don't think we've ever seen before!"
"Hmm, let's see: it eats metal for food and it sticks to magnets; it wags its cable-like tail when it appears to be happy; it freezes up and attacks with primarily Flash Cannon when surprised and scared; at times, it spins its head section and emits a sound; and, it can launch Electric Type attacks using its head section as well?! There's a possibility that it's a Steel Type, mm... I must say, I'm amazed you've all collected so much data on the little guy!"
"I'm honored to hear you say that, Professor!" Rotom-Dex buzzed happily at the ecstatic professor's proclamation.
"This really could be one of the greatest discoveries of our time! I'll start analyzing the data right away and if I find anything, I'll let you all know as soon as possible!"
"Thank you, Professor," Kukui thanked gratefully, he, Ash, Burnet, and the rest of their family being unaware that with them was one of the strange creatures in their possession (i.e. Rowlet's new friend).
That night, Sarah and her adoptive parents and Tsukumaro yawned as they were called over by Lusamine's Clefable to the Command Center as they got a distress call from the Fairy Pokemon. Having mulled over the entire day with the strange creatures they and the others bore witness to coupled with having to make up the time lost in building the PRT project Sarah needed to complete (in addition to repairing the damage done to the Sun Sword and Moon Shield), they were worn out and wanted to catch some Zs. The rest of their family did so as they were left behind so they can put the entire day's events behind them and hope that things wouldn't be as chaotic as they were before.
"Come on, Clefable. It's the middle of the night, why out of all times did you decide to call us here for-huh?" Sarah griped before she, Nikki, James, and Tsukumaro suddenly took notice that there was another group of the strange creatures (which were actually the ones that tangoed with Team Rocket) in the Command Center in the upper vent.
"Oh, dear!" Clefable fretted as Sarah, her godfather, and her adoptive parents gawked in shock and fear.
They then saw that the group that they and everyone else were unfortunate victims of regarding their antics reappeared from the lower vents and reunited with their friends, all of them chirping happily as they began to recount the adventures they had, leaving the quintet exasperated.
"Holy heliosks, they're back!"
"And, with another group, right under our noses!"
"Oh, no...! There's more?!"
"Ugh... We are never, getting, rid of them!"
"Ugh, Lusamine, I need a vacation," the five of them groaned as Nikki, James, and Tsukumaro continued to gawk in silent horror with Sarah eventually fainting as she finally had enough and Poor Clefable huffing miserably and crossing her arms as she felt the same way as the little princess.
Look how many there are now! What will they do...as the journey continues
