Sarah: Last time on Power Rangers Beast Morphers!
Robo-Blaze: "What if we trap Evox's Gigadrone in the Zord Hanger and use the Mega Transporters to capture him?"
Sarah: "Gotcha!"
Evox: "What is this?!"
Devon Daniels: "Blaze's plan worked. Evox was imprisoned. But then, we realized..."
Robo-Blaze chuckles as he teleports away
Ravi Shaw: "We got played..."
Nate Silva: "If all of this was his plan, then Evox must've wanted to be captured"
Devon Daniels: "But, why?"
After returning to Grid Battleforce HQ following Evox's capture, Commander Shaw and her Milotic hurried to the science lab to see Nate, Zoey, and Steel as they were working on an upgrade for the Beast-X Ultra Blaster that they're going to use to finish off Evox before he can make his move and escape before somehow returning to GB. In truth, she and the heroes were all still uneasy over what had happened after Robo-Blaze duped nearly everyone in trying to get him into the main building despite managing to get away after their original trojan horse plan failed (but not without having a huge majority of his powers completely neutralized) and they need to be sure that they use every option they have to get rid of the monster virus once and for all.
"Kids, is everything ready yet? We're out of time," she called as Zoey, Steel, Nate, Cinderace, and the Noctowl Brothers completed the upgraded Ultra Blaster.
"Just finishing the upload," Zoey updated.
"Okay, disconnect the computer, Cinderace, Noctowl. Thanks," Nate replied as he nodded to Cinderace and Noctowl with Zoey's and his Partner Pokemon quickly disconnecting the blaster from his computer before he joined his superior. "Evox is essentially a computer virus, made from corrupt computer data. I've upgraded the Ultra Blaster to fire a data packet into him so that when fired, it'll scramble his coding, byte by byte, until he then disintegrates."
"What's your confidence level?"
"It can't fail."
"I hope you're right. Let's return to Dragon Knight Base and find out."
Nodding in agreement, Zoey, Steel, Nate, and their Pokemon joined Milotic and Commander Shaw as they made their way back to Dragon Knight Base. At the Viking Teens' new base, they, their dragons, Sarah, Race, Ash, the gang, their Pokemon, and the Beast Bots watched over Evox with their blasters, sabers, and the Solgaleo King Slinger at the ready as they waited until Commander Shaw, Cinderace, Milotic, the Noctowl Brothers, Steel, Zoey, and Nate arrived with the Ultra Blaster, ready to fire and destroy Evox forever according to plan.
"Devon, Ravi, Race, Sarah, back me up," Nate commanded.
"Roger," Ravi replied as Sarah, Devon, and Race nodded, getting into position with Nate, having their Beast-X Blasters, the Beast-X Pyroar Fang (in Cannon Mode), and the Solgaleo King Slinger poised and ready while the others stood by with Steel, Zoey, and Commander Shaw by the computer operating the Force Field Cell.
"Lower the shields," Nate called to Zoey, allowing her to deactivate the cell and putting Evox in range of their blasters. "Ready... Fire!"
Nate, Devon, Sarah, Ravi, and Race fired their blasters and slinger at Evox who grunted as the blasts didn't seem to have much of an effect on him. However, little did anybody notice that Evox, as he was tanking the hits (much to the heroes' confusion), was transferring himself through the wire cable attached to the computer so when they tried to reenergize the power system for the cell, it reactivated its shields.
"Nate!"
"What's going on?" Lillie and Ash cried in alarm.
Nate widened his eyes as he realized what was going on, "It's Evox, he's somehow controlling the computer!"
"Oh, no! Princess, it's finally happening! Evox, he's escaping, he's hacking into Grid Battleforce's computer systems through these computers! It's just as my vision told me! Make it stop, make it stop, MAKE IT STOP!" Reader freaked as she held her head and panicked.
Evox hissed and laughed evilly as he then replied, "You're quite correct, my little seer! Too bad your vision failed to warn you, your princess, and your pathetic friends that I've anticipated this move from her and prepared a Plan B. Step by step, every last one of my plans has brought me closer and closer to this very moment. And, now, having reached my ultimate goal, even in the most unorthodox of ways after you all got in my way for the last time, you've reached the final chapter of your shared story! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!"
Feeling victorious, Evox managed to destroy the computer, forcing everybody to move out of the way of the blast as they took in the realization that Evox and Robo-Blaze had pawned them yet again.
"He's using the computer to access the Morph-X Towers! Sarah, destroy the computer!" Nate yelped worriedly to Sarah.
"On it!" she agreed, immediately firing her slinger and destroying the computer through it and her magic only to miss Evox as he wormed his way through the wiring and made his way back to Grid Battleforce as the heroes feared.
"He's escaping!" Lana blurted in shock.
"No doubt he's making his way back to Grid Battleforce now that he's got access to the world's computer network!" Sarah fretted before she turned to Nate. "Nate, you know where he'll be heading first after making it back to GB?"
Nate nodded as he explained, "He's still in the system, he wants to get into the Morphin Grid but there are only a few computers at the base that have direct access to the tower network. We've got to destroy them all before he can get it and cut us off."
"Go!" Commander Shaw urged, prompting Race and Sarah to apparate everybody back to Coral Harbor and Grid Battleforce as Nate led the way to where the computers with access to the Morph-X Tower network are.
"We'll start with the Command Room!" he suggested as they rushed over to the Command Room as they kept their eyes open for Evox and pushed past everyone else. "Look out!"
"System overload, clear the area!" cried one of the workers in the Command Room as Evox hacked his way inside and tried to absorb the access codes he was looking for.
"Yes, and now, give me the access codes!" he hissed with delight just as Sarah and the others arrived.
"Not happening, fire!" she shouted as she, Nate, and Race opened fire on Evox and stopped him before he could continue absorbing the data for the access codes.
"Destroy the computers!" Nate added, prompting Ravi, Devon, and Zoey to immediately destroy the computers inside before Evox escaped through the only one they couldn't destroy in time and left.
"No!" cried Zoey as they watched him go.
"He's getting away!"
"We'll never catch him if he's popping up wherever there are computers around in this place, even if there are any others with the access codes everybody else doesn't know about!" Kiawe and Sophocles grunted.
"He's damaged! Is he leaving a trail?" Steel pointed out, knowing that he was blasted hard because of his brother, Sarah, and Race as the group checked out the digital map of the base on the computer and discovered that he is heading for the computers in the research room.
"He's heading towards the research room, come on! We'll catch him there!" Nate informed as they all bolted towards the research room, urging everybody else that was startled by Evox's intrusion to get out of the way before they found him absorbing more data from the research room computers.
"Hey, Snake Eyes!" Sarah bellowed as she and Nate fired on him again and he got hit again before he escaped through one of the computers that Devon managed to blow up. "Damn it, that snake's toying with us!"
"Now, where would he go next?" Steel questioned, not liking where this is going for everyone in the know about his being here.
"Hard to say," admitted Nate before Commander Shaw called them via their Wrist Coms with an urgent message after she returned.
"Go ahead," Devon called.
"Someone has accessed the vault!"
Nate's eyes widened in horror as he realized where Evox is at right now, "He's in my lab..."
"Don't worry, Nate, don't give in to your emotions. We'll catch him and see what he wants in there, let's go!" Sarah reassured the horrified Gold Ranger before the heroes scrambled for his lab.
Upon arriving at Nate's lab, they discovered that they were too late as Evox, to his glee, took out a certain case from the Ranger Vault and found what he was looking for in one of them as he hissed, "Ah, at last, there you are. No need to hide, my little morpher."
The heroes soon saw that what he was looking for was a Cell Shift Morpher (specifically, Scott's Ranger Red Morpher) amongst all the morphers from the universe of Dr. K and the Power Rangers RPM. To their shock and confusion, they saw that he needed the Legendary Morpher to repair himself for it had something inside it that he had been looking for that could help him take over the Morphin Grid and complete his mission to obliterate humanity. What that something he needed from it is, they have no idea, yet.
"That's a Cell Shift Morpher," Nate recognized, seeing Scott's morpher.
"But, what does he want it for?" Astrid questioned before they saw Evox repairing himself and undoing all the damage done to him in the heroes' wild goose chase.
"Oh no, he's repairing himself with it! Something's in that Cell Shift Morpher and Evox must've wanted it real bad if he's undoing all those blasts he took," Sarah breathed in horrified realization.
"That's impossible," Nate rebutted, just as horrified as everyone else before they all decided to make their move.
While Sarah, Race, and Nate fired their blasters and slinger, knowing what their partners wanted, Pikachu, Vikavolt, and Snowy stepped up and fired Thunderbolt, Discharge, and Powder Snow at Evox but once he was done repairing himself, he turned to the heroes and raised his right hand, absorbing the power and energy of the blasts and attacks that were just thrown at him.
"You're too late, Princess, you and your friends are all powerless against me now. In fact, in case any of you have forgotten or didn't know, I was more than just Evox," the virus mocked smugly before he turned his attention to Nate. "Haven't you and the princess figured it out, boy? You know very well what I'm talking about, you should know who I really am on the inside."
Nate was confused as he questioned, "What are you talking about?"
"Years ago, in your case, you experimented with old ranger technology hoping to find a new way to morph and create new powers from them."
"Yes, I did but how did you know about it?"
"Because, I was there, right from the start," Evox continued as Nate thought back to the experiment he did when he was five years old in his childhood, experimenting with various Ranger Morphers and failing on all of them until he experimented with Scott's Cell Shift Morpher.
"You were just a foolish little boy, trying to power old Ranger Morphers with Morph-X and Snake DNA and all your efforts failed. That was until you tried the Cell Shift Morpher for your final attempt."
Using Scott's Morpher, Boy Genius Nate then fused the Morph-X and the Snake DNA Evox was born out of together. But, when the Morpher sparked up and he was created as a computer virus in the form of a cybernetic snake, it then transferred him into his computer.
"That DNA became part of my data and I was thus released into your computer system. A dead end for you, a new beginning for me!"
Nate and Sarah's eyes widened in horror as the latter recalled her and her friends' Ranger History lessons on how Venjix was first created and how the Power Rangers RPM came to be and the former started to put two and two together between his experiment and the same lessons he learned while in Ranger History Class with Zoey and Ravi.
"You two are starting to put it together, a Cell Shift Morpher that could only mean one thing," Evox smirked, holding out Scott's Morpher for everyone to see.
It all became clear as Sarah recalled Reader frantically trying to tell everybody who Evox truly was according to her latest vision but broke down in tears before she could reveal his true identity. Then, recalling the state of Dr. K and her friends' world in their fight against their greatest foe and his forces after their world was left in a total apocalyptic state following his creation and the similar conditions of her counterpart's world of Alternate Sinnoh following Alternate Team Rocket's takeover, the little princess could only point at Evox as she remembered who Evox really was just as a horrified Nate did the same in his case.
"You... You're the virus created by Dr. K when she wanted to go outside after uncovering Alphabet Soup's lies and who nearly destroyed her world before she and her friends, the Power Rangers RPM, supposedly got rid of you. You're Venjix," she breathed quietly, horrorstruck.
"WHAT/**WHAT**?!" all of her friends and the Pokemon gasped in equal shock and horror.
"I get it now; after you hacked into the Biofield or the Morphin Grid, before you were destroyed, you somehow found a way to download yourself into Scott's Morpher ever since he and his team returned the Cell Shift, Rev, and Sky Morphers to Dr. K and she put them away. Then, they were given to Grid Battleforce and stored here for safe-keeping and it wasn't until Nate experimented with Scott's Morpher that you were able to evolve and plot your revenge... This whole time, you've played us by not only plotting to take over the Morphin Grid but also to finally finish what you started after you failed to destroy humanity in Dr. K's world!" the princess deducted in horrified disgust.
"Indeed, Princess! As you and your Gold Ranger know now, I, was, VENJIX!" Evox or Venjix smirked, changing his current voice to a voice that is deeper and similar to his old one. "I have had many forms prior and now, thanks to your genius friend, my victory over humanity is finally certain!"
"So, Venjix was a computer virus that almost destroyed an entire world?"
"And, Venjix was in Scott's Morpher the whole time?!"
"He wasn't truly destroyed after he was crushed by the control tower?" Ravi, Mallow, and Kiawe deducted, still horrorstruck despite trying to remain vigilant as they kept their sabers and blaster on Venjix.
"That can't be true! Nate?" denied Zoey despite also being in shock.
"Bro?" Steel asked Nate with concern as the Gold Ranger in question stammered, not knowing what to say.
"It is true and you and the princess should know, boy. There's no point trying to deny the truth anymore, I've waited years for you to energize the Morph-X Powers so I could harness the Morphin Grid after regaining my lost programming and today, that becomes reality!"
Now, with all of his programming back and in his new body, Venjix fired an energy blast at the heroes, blasting the group back out of the doorway as they fell onto the ground. Laughing in delight as he smirked, he then coolly walked his way out to begin the final stages of his endgame to take over the Morphin Grid and finally destroy humanity after failing to finish the job in Dr. K's world.
Despite being bandaged and banged up again from Venjix's attack, Sarah was able to pick herself up along the wall she was next to and saw him walking away to continue his endgame.
"Venjix! You've gone too far this time!" she snapped furiously as he left and ignored her before she gave chase. "Get back here!"
"Island Girl, wait!" Race shouted as he and the others got up and gathered around Nate to not only comfort him but also to confirm what Venjix told them all.
"Is it true, Nate? What he said, did you really create Evox or bring back Venjix from that old Morpher?" Devon asked, aghast.
"I-I-It was years ago! I was just a kid!" Nate replied shakily, still in shock and starting to become paralyzed with fear over his greatest folly.
"So, it is possible," breathed Kiawe, sympathetic but still horrified.
"Yes! I guess... I might've released Venjix into our world just as Dr. K had with hers," Nate confirmed, muttering to himself in his horror out loud.
"Nate, no need to worry. We can still stop him if we all go after him right now, let's go!" Ash encouraged, not wanting to give up without a fight.
"Ash is right; right now, Venjix is our top priority. Come on!" Hiccup nodded as everybody rushed off to follow Venjix and Sarah while Nate stayed behind before Zoey turned to him.
"Hey, Nate! We need you, come on!" she encouraged her traumatized crush before he looked at Zoey and nodded shortly after.
Despite wanting to mope around in self-loathing and be left alone to contemplate and kick himself for his mistake, he realized that as a ranger, he still had a job to do despite his personal feelings. He knew he would have to put aside his emotions and not get controlled by them for now because the resurrected Venjix, through his new body and persona, is still a threat and Sarah just went after him alone. Steeling himself, he got up and chased after the others as they found Ben and Betty tied up with strong cables and their Pokemon joining them moments later, battered and bruised but still alive after they failed to stop Evox when they found him leaving the base.
"Ben, Betty!"
"Are you two and your Pokemon okay?" Hiccup and Lillie called out as they tried to break them free.
"Yeah, we almost had him!"
"He went that way and Sarah's on his tail! You have to hurry!" the Burke Siblings replied before Zoey's Wrist Com went off as Jax contacted her.
"What is it, Jax?" Zoey asked her Beast Bot.
"We're tracking Evox right now, we can cut him off at Sub Level One. Sarah should already be there since she was already tailing him."
"We're on our way," Devon nodded before turning to Froslass and Abomosnow. "Froslass, Abomosnow?"
"We got them."
"Go get him! You're wasting time!" they replied as they went to work.
"Let's go!" Devon urged as the heroes then left.
"Let's Ranger up!" shouted Race as the two Power Ranger teams morphed for battle against their greatest enemy yet.
"Activate, Beast Power/Link to Morphin Grid!"
"Hurry, we gotta move!" encouraged Hiccup as they all made their way for Sub Level One.
Joined by Jax, Smash, Solar, Athena, Carno, Chasa, and Cruise, the twelve Power Rangers, the Viking Teens, the Pokemon, and the dragons all arrived at Sub Level One with their weapons on hand before they found an already-Morphed Sarah as she looked around after following Venjix to their current location.
"Sarah!" Ash called, getting her attention.
"Guys, you made it! Stay close, though. I chased Evox here but I lost him on the way," Sarah replied as they looked around the area for Venjix to appear. "I sensed he's on his way right now but he's not going to stop until he returns to the Cyber Dimension and kicks off the last stage of his endgame."
"Then, I guess we better take him down hard and fast before he gets there, right?" Devon quizzed, knowing what they all must do.
She nodded in response before they suddenly saw him coming, prompting the Pokemon and dragons to snarl and growl at him as she told her friends, "There he is."
"Ha! Trying to stop me when I'm already in full swing of my ultimate goal along with your friends, Princess? You fools are welcome to fight if you can, do you really think you have what it takes to stop me as my old enemies have done?" Venjix mocked, still as smug as ever as he brought back four of his fallen Robotrons including Robotrons; Spiketron, Slicertron, Keytron, and Antennatron. "With the new and improved power of my old programming, nothing can stand in my way now! Not even you and your light will stand a chance against me!"
"We're not letting you destroy humanity a second time, Venjix! No matter what happens, no matter how long it takes, this is where you'll fall!" Sarah spat as she drew her Sun Sword and she and the others charged forward to attack Venjix and his Robotrons.
"Let's get to safety, guys!" Cruise recommended to Smash and Jax as the three of them moved out of the way. "Coming!" Jax agreed as they made their way to safety.
"Take no prisoners!" Sarah shouted to the others as they all engaged with the revived Robotrons and ganged up on them as best they could before she looked at Devon once he had gotten one of them off his back. "Come on, Devon! You and I got Venjix!"
"Okay, let's get him!" Devon nodded as they charged at him together.
The Red Beast Morphers Ranger went first as Sarah decides to bring up the rear with her powers and weaponry while he struck at Venjix with his Beast-X Saber. However, much to their shock, horror, and surprise, they saw that after he struck him in the chest, the resurrected computer virus cackled as he absorbed the saber and turned it into data, having absorbed all of the data regarding Grid Battleforce's arsenal now and being completely immune to it.
"I have all of your weapons data. They're useless against me now!" he laughed as he shoved Devon off of him before he gave off a pained grunt as Sarah slashed at him with her father's heirloom and her Dragon Blade, annoying him before he looked at the weapons in her hands and was shocked to find that he didn't know anything about them. "You little royal slut, you got more spunk than I-What?! Your swords, I have nothing on them! Those aren't Grid Battleforce weapons!"
"Took you long enough, huh? That's because they're not made from technology and computer data since one of them is a magical heirloom passed down on to me from my Dad and the other is made by my hands alone! But, that's all you'll ever know from me! Not everything has to be played by Grid Battleforce's rules, Venjix! Let's see how you like this!" Sarah retorted as she and her friends along with their Pokemon regrouped and the gang brought out their chosen Booster Keys.
"Aerodactyl Key!"
"Entei Key!"
"Reshiram Flare Key!"
"Shaymin Key!"
"Cobalion Key!"
"Kyurem Ice Key!"
Inserting their keys into their sabers and activating them, they gained the booster sleeves of their chosen Pokemon as they and Sarah readied themselves for a round against Venjix who was even more shocked to find that he was up against more weapons of which he had no data nor prior knowledge of.
"What?! Impossible, I don't have anything on those weapons as well!" he balked in angered shock.
"Let's just say our weapons before these came along are nothing compared to our new sabers which are a whole new world of good compared to what you have!" Mallow replied simply.
"Bring it on, Venjix!" Lana added as the gang and Sarah ganged up on him as they delivered blow after blow on him and healed and defended themselves when he managed to throw his own powerful attacks at them.
Race then joined in as he used his Bio Lion Talon (which Sarah had enchanted prior during the time-skip between Fossil Frenzy and Crunch Time) against Venjix and slashed him with a downward strike once he was able to get past the Robotrons and get a shot on him, "Want to run by your earlier word salad again, Virus Man?"
While the heroes were fighting against Venjix, Devon, after he was shoved back, was helped by Ravi and Zoey while the Viking Teens, the dragons, the Pokemon with them, Nate, and Steel fought against the remaining Robotrons still standing.
"Devon, are you okay?" Zoey asked.
Angered by his being bested by his exotic enemies and feeling like they deserve another demonstration of his terrifying power, Venjix proceeded to unleash a powerful energy blast that nearly blew his enemies away but also destroyed his surviving Robotrons as he deemed them useless to him.
"We can't fight him! His programming absorbed my saber!" Devon told his friend before he looked at Sarah and the others as they held firm against the evil computer virus. "But, at least we have Sarah and the others with us, Venjix has nothing on them and their weapons right now so we're all still in the game, at least."
His smugness back on him once more, Venjix cackled again as he mocked them and Nate, "He's right; I may not know about those meddlesome weapons your friends and the princess possess but at least my programming has made me immune to your weaponry. Now, tell me, boy genius, how does it feel to be the one responsible for the destruction of human civilization?"
"SHUT UP!" Sarah roared as Venjix fired a blast at Nate and she jumped in front of him with her Moon Shield raised as she blocked the blast which was only temporary the force of the attack still got them and they were blown back hard.
"No, Nate, Sarah!" Zoey screamed in horror, seeing her crush and friend down as they demorphed and grunted in pain.
"You guys okay?!" gasped Race as he and Steel went over to them and held them gently to help them up as Venjix just chuckled at them.
"I gotcha, Bro!"
"You'll go down in history and you, Princess, will soon watch as the world and your beloved island kingdom will all fall down at my feet. Ta-Ta," he smirked mockingly before he teleported back to the Cyber Dimension to recover and continue with his endgame, leaving a fearful Nate and disgruntled Sarah and their friends behind.
"I can't believe what I've done," Nate peeped, terrified as his fear took him over.
"Nate, it's alright! It's just a mistake, Venjix isn't invincible, we can still-!" Sarah begged, looking worried for him before they watched him turn away and leave to return to Grid Battleforce. "Nate? Nate!"
"Wait!" Steel called but trailed off as he ignored him with everybody gathered left at an impasse and wondering what to do to help the boy genius and get around their dilemma on how the Beast Morphers team can fight Venjix now.
Without a doubt, this was bound to be the most difficult hurdle they have to clear; Venjix is back thanks to a mistake Nate unknowingly made and the entire ordeal had left him completely terrified, unsure of what to do to right the wrong he unintentionally made years ago.
Poor Nate was vividly distraught over everything that happened after returning to his lab in Grid Battleforce and even his Noctowl didn't know how to cheer him up or make him feel better as he cooed sadly and nuzzled him, the boy genius accepting the gesture but not perking up due to his fear taking him over. Minutes later, Zoey and her Cinderace arrived to not only check on him but also to see if he had anything planned to stop Venjix and comfort her crush, hoping she could make him better.
"Hey, Nate. Whatcha working on?" she asked, trying to be as careful as possible, knowing how traumatized he is right now.
Nate just sighed in dismay and self-loathing as he glumly replied, "Nothing, the only safe thing for me to do at a time like this is nothing."
"That's not true-"
"But, it is! Everyone thought that I was such a boy genius; developing Morph-X and combining it with animal DNA... But, the truth is, I released Venjix into our world and brought him back, more powerful than ever. Everything bad that's happened to us ever since this whole thing started is my fault."
"We faced problems like this before, we can beat this-!"
"Not true! We've never faced anything like this and even if we did regarding Team Eclipse in the case of Sarah and her friends, they're nothing compared to what we're up against this time! Before, Evox was just fragments of the Venjix Virus combined with snake DNA, but now, now he has absorbed all of Venjix's programming! Even worse, Evox was Venjix all along and he was fighting us from under our noses in his new persona while biding his time to get what he lost back! Against all that power, I don't even know where to start."
"We have to try, there must be something you can do," Zoey argued, trying to encourage her crush to not give up.
"Easy for you to say! You don't even know what I'm going through or how I'm feeling right now! Please, just leave me alone," Nate finished before he walked away from her, completely torn from within.
Defeated but undeterred, Zoey and Cinderace left the lab and Nate to give him some time alone but not without his Noctowl giving them a thankful coo for trying to cheer him up as best they could. Eventually, the pair arrived at the Command Room as it was being repaired where Commander Shaw, Milotic, Devon, Cinderace, Sarah, Blitz, and Curly are waiting, anxious to hear if Nate is ready to do his part to figure out how to stop Venjix.
"Well, is Nate working on a solution?" the commander questioned.
"How is he, Zoey? Doing okay," Sarah questioned, deeply concerned for Nate.
"He's paralyzed, afraid he'll make another mistake. The revelation that he accidentally brought Venjix back to life as Evox shook him to the core," Zoey sighed sadly as she and Cinderace shook their heads at them.
"Maybe I should talk to him. Come on, Incineroar," Devon requested before Zoey stopped him and Incineroar from leaving.
"You can't, that won't help. I tried before but he needs to talk to someone who knows exactly how he felt, who truly understands what he's going through."
"Sounds like you have someone in mind," Commander Shaw replied knowingly.
"Yes, M'am," Zoey confirmed before turning to Devon with a proposition,
"Can you help me make a trans-dimensional call?" "I sure can," Devon replied as he and Sarah smiled, knowing exactly who Zoey had in mind to help Nate out of the rut he was in.
In his lab, Nate continued to stare forlornly and fearfully at Scott's Cell Shift Morpher, Venjix's words and mocking cackles echoing and creeping about in his head as he failed to make sense of everything, still paralyzed with fear and more afraid than ever of making things even worse for himself, his friends, the world, and all of Grid Battleforce.
"How could I have done this?" he whimpered fearfully to himself.
Soon, though, a trans-dimensional portal appeared, and then, who should come to his rescue but the original tech-wiz of the Power Rangers RPM and Venjix's old creator: Dr. K.
"You must be Nate. I'm Dr. K," she greeted warmly, the teenage computer genius now a young woman (having fully embraced humanity again after accepting Ziggy following the end of her and her friends' initial war against Venjix).
Nate was in awe at seeing the woman who was at the heart of the RPM Rangers as he breathed, "I remember you from Ranger History Class."
Dr. K nodded via a rather disturbing yet impressive ability to know exactly what chapter she was featured in one of the Ranger History books with a small grimace before she got to the heart of the matter, "Ah, yes; Volume 5 - Chapter 175. I hate the photograph they put in there, though. So, then you know exactly that I was the one who invented Venjix and unleashed his wrath, to begin with."
"Yes, we have that in common, really. We both set him loose on unsuspecting worlds."
"True, yes... Except, he nearly wiped out my world," Dr. K agreed as she recalled everything that went on in her world including the final battle she and her friends had against Venjix.
"Venjix's onslaught was relentless when he made himself known. The Ranger Operators, my friends, put everything on the line, and only then, they were barely able to defeat him when he had us all on the ropes. But, now, it seems he's found a way to escape my dimension without us knowing. If we work together, we might be able to save yours."
"Together...? After what I've done? No, I can't risk making another mistake like that," Nate replied, still discouraged after everything that went down.
But, Dr. K was not only sympathetic as she was also understanding of his plight despite knowing fully well that he's essential to his friends and team, deciding to wait it out and nudge him forward bit by bit until he's on the right track again, "I see; you want to feel sorry for yourself. Okay, you want to feel guilty and unsure of your ability? I completely get it. I was in the same boat as you were when I learned that I was the one who created Venjix."
She then moved to one of the desks and sat down as she continued, "Go right ahead. I'll wait right here until you realize that even though you have every right to be afraid and no matter how you feel, the world needs you right now and so do your friends. I just hope it lasts that long..."
"He's not just Venjix anymore! I accidentally combined the virus you made with Morph-X and Snake DNA; he's hyper-intelligent now with incredible power in addition to all of his old programming! How do you even start to tackle a problem like that?"
"The same way you would tackle any problem; you start by taking the first step," Doc K replied knowingly and encouragingly as she stood up and joined him.
"...First step, we have the source code right here," Nate began after several moments of thinking through her words until he picked up Scott's Morpher and a light soon went off in his head. "We could look for Venjix's vulnerable points, weaknesses! And, if possible, I can call Sarah and see if she can help us with her powers!"
"Would this Sarah be the friend you know who has Lion DNA and Solgaleo DNA in her AND new magical abilities Venjix doesn't know about?" Nate nodded in response as Doc K smiled, giving her approval as they begin to work out a plan. "Sounds like Step 1 to me, if anything, her expertise on this magic stuff will be highly invaluable. Tell me more about this Morph-X..."
As Nate and Dr. K begin to talk and come up with their battle plan regarding how to stop Venjix, the others watched from the door, happy that Nate was getting the help and comfort he needed for his latest plan and they have Zoey to thank for Dr. K's arrival in their darkest hour to date.
"Good job, Zoey," Devon smiled at his friend.
Meanwhile, on the villains' side of things, in the Cyber Dimension, Venjix is with Scrozzle and Robo-Blaze as he laid down the final stages for his endgame.
"So, Master Evox, what's your plan of attack?" Robo-Blaze questioned, eager for some action.
"I've retrieved these access codes after I've infiltrated Grid Battleforce and downloaded the data I needed from its computers," Venjix explained, revealing a flash drive he had on him that contained the access codes he had stolen.
"Amazing," complimented an impressed Scrozzle as he gave the drive to Robo-Blaze.
"With these codes, I want you to upload them into a tower and activate the global network. As long as there are no snags that can hinder my goal to reach the Morphin Grid, with the towers from around the world, I'll harness the grid and use its power for the extinction of mankind."
"Brilliant! I'll get the job done, Master. You won't be disappointed," smirked Robo-Blaze as he teleported away, having finally managed to restore all of his powers despite Sarah's best efforts with her recent Animus enchantment.
"It's all happening so fast, Master, but while Blaze is out having fun, is there anything I can do?" Scrozzle asked Venjix who smirked knowingly as he brought out another flash drive that also had the access codes he stole from Grid Battleforce and gave it to him.
"It's funny you say that, Scrozzle. You see, that drive Blaze has is not the only thing that has the access codes; beforehand, I've taken the liberty and precaution of coping the access codes should the rangers destroy the drive he has along with him now that his usefulness is at an end. Take them for you are the key to all of this."
"I am?" Scrozzle quipped in surprise and awe, realizing that his time as a sidekick is over with him being at the heart of Venjix's new endgame.
"Yes," Venjix chuckled, knowing he has the war in the bag as far as he knew thanks to his newly-elevated equal.
In another part of Grid Battleforce, specifically, the Zord Hanger, Reader paced back and forth and muttered to herself about the different timelines that would occur from the final battle and how the heroes' final clash with Venjix would play out, still reeling from her previous vision coming reality.
But, the worst isn't over yet because she was soon hit with a flurry of new visions coming at her as her head flashed with pain and her eyes glowed white once more as she saw what was about to happen: Robo-Blaze being destroyed after a Venjix/Evox Antivirus is developed, Scrozzle getting the drop on everyone as he gained access to a Morph-X Tower and the Global Morph-X Tower System, Venjix absorbing power from the Morphin Grid thanks to him despite the heroes best efforts to beat him, and Steel making the ultimate sacrifice as Venjix absorbed him.
"Reader...? Reader!"
Eventually, Reader snapped back into reality before she saw Ash, the Vikings, and the Pokemon School Gang looking at her worriedly, hearing her pained grunts and screams from the vision she had as she was crying when they arrived to check on her.
"You had another round of visions?" Astrid deducted knowingly.
"Yes... B-But, what's about to happen, i-i-it's worse compared to before... If, if we don't stop Venjix, I fear, I fear all hope will be lost," she panted fearfully.
"Odin forbid it, we'll do everything we can to stop that creep," Hiccup reassured determinedly. "We'll use our Animus Magic and more to counter him and his plan to get into this Morphin Grid."
"You won't have to worry, Reader. Walrus and our other teachers taught us a bit more about it each day, we now know how important it is to everyone, even the rangers. Now, let's go and see Nate, he, Sarah, and Dr. K should be finished by now, okay?" added Fishlegs.
Reader nodded slowly as they quickly went over to the lab to see how Dr. K and Nate were doing with their latest counterattack. Speaking of which, after acquiring Sarah's assistance and asking if she could give them her Beast-X King Ultra Bow so that it and his own can be upgraded, the three of them worked on developing a pair of arrows that have interfaced Morph-X Keys at the tips for the antivirus they've completed (with Nate's Ultra Bow having a few mods as well).
"These new arrows have Morph-X Keys at the tips, they will interface perfectly with the upgraded bows," Nate explained to Dr. K after testing out the arrows' placement in the mouth holes before bringing them over to download the antivirus for Venjix into them.
"And, with our Ultra Bows upgraded with Nate's being like an actual crossbow and both of them given extensive overhauls to not only make them more durable than ever but also more powerful through my magic and Lion and Solgaleo DNA, the arrows should be fired faster and at a longer distance while having in-built targeting systems to ensure they hit their targets," Sarah added, getting affirmative nods from Dr. K.
"Good, the analysis of the Venjix data and your Snake DNA samples along with the demonstration of your magical prowess and your fused Lion and Solgaleo DNA have been very enlightening. We have everything we need to create a new and powerful Venjix/Evox Antivirus," she approved as Nate began the download despite his fears and doubts threatening to bring him down again.
"When it's complete, we'll load them into the arrows for testing and load them into the bows. ...The arrows may not fly straight, the virus might not download... A lot of things can go wrong-"
"Relax, it'll work," Dr. K reassured calmly.
"She's right, Nate. Worrying over 'What-Ifs' won't do us any good, you're the best at what you do here just as Dr. K is in her world. Together, with me, we've got everything ready for Venjix; we won't let him get the drop on us again as he did before, I promise," agreed Sarah, gently holding him before she gave him a soft smile.
"Nate, Dr. K, Sarah!" shouted Reader as she, Ash, the Viking Teens, and the Pokemon School Gang arrived after accidentally causing some passing employees to spin like tops from their fast arrival.
"Reader, what's up?" Sarah asked.
"Another vision?" Nate added.
"Yes, not only pertaining to our final battles against Venjix but also something else..."
Nate and Sarah looked at each other in surprise and worry as Reader continued, "Nate, the arrows you guys and Dr. K are working on, they'll work great. However, there's something I think you guys should know regarding how they'll do against Venjix. There is a way to defeat him and it's right in front of us, the whole time!"
"In front of us, the whole time? But, what?" Nate blinked before the rest of his team came over with urgent news.
"It's Robo-Blaze, he's been spotted heading towards Tower 7," Devon informed, surprising the boy genius.
"Blaze, not Venjix?" he asked. "You all go ahead, I'll finish the antivirus," Dr. K reassured, knowing his team needs him now.
"But, I should stay and help you," Nate pleaded, worried about making another mistake.
"It's Robo-Blaze, Nate. We need your help," Zoey insisted, getting a sigh and a knowing nod from her crush as they prepared to head off and leave Dr. K to finish things up before the NightWing Seer frantically stopped them.
"Wait! Guys, about my vision with Robo-Blaze, he's a diversion! Venjix is having him distract us from the real infiltrator, Scrozzle; he's been given copies of the access codes he had stolen earlier and if he gets into one of the towers undetected and activates the Global Morph-X Tower Network, that's it, game over! He'll have all the Morph-X he'll need to harness for humanity's extinction in this world!"
"Scrozzle has a copy of the access codes?!"
"So, if Robo-Blaze was one set of the access codes in a drive and Scrozzle has the other, then that means-!" gasped Lillie and Sarah as Reader nodded again.
"Venjix knows Robo-Blaze would fail while we're busy with him so while our backs are turned, Scrozzle will slip through undetected and use the codes to activate the Global Network so he can harness the Morphin Grid."
"Dark," Snotlout gulped.
"Not cool," Ruffnut peeped.
"But, how can we beat Venjix if he already planned that far ahead and if the arrows don't work?" Tuffnut asked, worried.
"Don't worry, they'll work but whether or not they'll have any effect or if there's another way to defeat him will be entirely up to you. The only thing I can give you is to brace yourselves and know that everything is possible, even the impossible. As long as you all are together, you'll be unstoppable," Dr. K advised reassuringly, opening herself and the others to other possibilities that are within or beyond logic to ensure victory over Venjix somehow.
The others took her words in and nodded accordingly, deciding to hold her words to them as they prepared to make their way out and stop Robo-Blaze forever while somehow dealing with Venjix and Scrozzle on the evil mechanic's end.
"Then, I suppose now's a good time as any for us to try and set a trap for Venjix as well. He got the best of us last time with our capturing him and twisting it to his own needs to infiltrate Grid Battleforce, now it's our turn to turn the tables on him," Sarah said to everyone.
"Guess that means it's time for another one of your Animus enchantments, Island Girl."
"But, let's hope Venjix and Scrozzle don't have any more loopholes around one of them just as Robo-Blaze did when he slipped that vial of Morph-X on him behind our backs," Race and Zenna remarked.
"I hope so, too. But, I'm gonna need help with that since I won't be able to join you until later."
"Okay, Sarah, Reader, you two and the Vikings stay and cast your spell on the towers before Scrozzle tries anything, see if you can stop him before he accesses the Global Network. The rest of us will deal with Robo-Blaze so he won't pull off that front he has on us," Nate decided.
"I'll finish the antivirus in the meantime and I'll let you know when it's ready," Dr. K added, getting affirmative nods from everybody else as they went off to achieve their respective goals before she added to Sarah before she and her party left, "Princess, be careful. My friends and I and our world, we'll be rooting for all of you out there."
"Good luck," Sarah nodded as she, the Viking Teens, the dragons and Pokemon with them, and Reader went off to complete their mission while Doc K remained in the lab to finish downloading the antivirus into the arrows.
With the Beast Morphers Rangers and Ash and the Pokemon School Gang and their Pokemon, at Morph-X Tower 7, Robo-Blaze arrived on the scene and he was surprised to find that it was unguarded given that Venjix told him that nobody was around before he left with the access codes he was given.
"You were right, Master. The tower is left unguarded, almost like someone or something is waiting for me to come," he contacted his master before he groaned at the sight of his mortal enemies reemerging to take him on.
"Stop right there, Robo-Blaze!"
"Freeze!"
"Don't take another step!" Ash, Pikachu, and Devon warned as they and their party all glared at him, standing between him and the tower.
"Sorry, but I have some unfinished business to attend to and you kids are gonna make me late cutting me off."
"Not today, pal!" Lana spat in response.
"It's Morphin' Time!" Devon and Ash continued, signaling the group to morph as they brought out their Morphers and keys for their final rumble against Blaze's robotic copycat. "Activate, Beast Power/Link to Morphin Grid!"
Morphing back into their ranger suits, the heroes gathered at Tower 7 braced themselves as they brought out their sabers, called out all of their Partner Pokemon to help them, and Devon, Zoey, and Ravi activated their Beast-X Mode to give them their best chance at dealing with Robo-Blaze until Dr. K should be finished with the antivirus for him and Venjix (with Robo-Blaze being the first one to feel their power).
"Unleash the Beast!"
"Rangers Forever, Defenders Together!" they all declared as they and their Pokemon charged at Robo-Blaze for their final battle with him.
"25 on 1? Fine by me," smirked Robo-Blaze, enjoying the odds that are against him as he summoned his sword and fought back.
It's an all-out rumble between the heroes at present and Robo-Blaze as the thirteen Power Rangers and twenty-two Pokemon went all out on him despite the powerful robot continuing to prove that he's no slouch on combat. Each time they went at him, he always managed to block or parry their blows and counter them such as when Ravi pulled off a rolling takedown to try and hold him for the final blow only for the robot to kick him off and throw him over before dodging Zoey's downward thrust and doing a left handspring away from Lillie's right-left swipe and forced Snowy back as she unleashed a Powder Snow attack.
He then knocked away Pikachu, Ash, and Devon as they came in for another round and struck back at Mallow, Nate, Kiawe, and Steel as they tried to go at him as well. Ravi and Sophocles jumped together in a double-forward flip before they wailed on him with their own strikes just before the Blue Ranger was caught in a grip lock and he kicked Zoey and the Togedemaru Ranger away from him as they came at him from above, causing them to crash into Togedemaru and Vikavolt when they prepared to use Discharge and Zing Zap.
"Zoey, Sopholces!" cried Ravi worriedly.
"Someone needs to pay attention," Robo-Blaze sneered after he flipped him over his right shoulder and back to them while the others and the Pokemon regrouped.
"You guys alright?" Race asked as he, Bella, and Robbie stood forward, their Iron Tail and Wood Hammer attacks and the Bio Lion Talon at the ready.
"Yeah, we're good," nodded Ravi.
"Let's change that," Robo-Blaze snarked smugly as he energized his sword and sent a powerful left-right energy slash at them, the heroes taking the full brunt of the blast as they were knocked off their feet. "You like that?"
"Alright! I've had enough! It's time we finish our little dance with you, right here, right now!" snapped Race at Robo-Blaze as he got up.
"You read my mind, Race! Come on, Devon! Let's go!" Steel agreed as the three of them charged at him again.
"He's so gonna be sorry he messed with us!"
"Then, I suggest we help our friends give this unpleasant chap a final warm greeting before his end!"
"I'm all for it!"
"Let's get 'im!" Incineroar, Steel's Noctowl, Bella, and Robbie concurred as they picked themselves up and joined their human parent and friends just as the others got back up and prepared to help out as well.
"Come on!" Zoey encouraged before they got a call from Dr. K as Nate brought out his Striker Morpher and answered it, realizing that the antivirus is loaded onto the arrows and the one for his bow is ready to fire.
"The arrow's loaded and ready to go," she informed the Gold Ranger as Devon, Steel, Race, and their Pokemon kept Robo-Blaze busy.
"Thanks, Dr. K. Let's do a field test!" Nate told everybody as they all stood in position, knowing what they should do as Nate brought forth his Beast-X King Ultra Bow with the newly-made and loaded Beast-X King Antivirus Power Bolt. "Transport: Beast-X King Ultra Bow! I really hope this works."
It was a good thing the new Antivirus Power Bolt was completed thanks to Dr. K and summoned along with Nate's Ultra Bow because, at that moment, Race, Devon, Steel, and their Pokemon were just finishing their final brawl against Robo-Blaze with the Silver Ranger unleashing a final spinning right roundhouse kick at the evil robot and knocking him down in range for Nate to take the shot.
"Beast-X King Power Bolt!" he declared, firing the arrow at the shocked Robo-Blaze as he turned to him but being too late to react in time as it struck him and started to delete and destroy him completely. "Come on!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!" wailed Robo-Blaze in defeat as he exploded, leaving only the heroes standing and proving the new Beast-X King Antivirus Power Bolt a success for their final battle against Venjix.
"It worked! Ha-ha-ha-ha!"
"You did it, Nate!" Steel and Devon hollered as everybody cheered.
"Robo-Blaze is gone for good, booyah!"
"Well, Robo-Blaze is finished but what are we going to do with Scrozzle and his copy of the access codes?" Race reminded the group.
"Let's get back to Sarah and the others at the base and see how they did," Ash suggested, getting knowing nods from the others as they left to return to the base, get a progress update from Sarah, and figure out what to do next with Venjix.
After returning to Grid Battleforce and telling everybody about the end of Robo-Blaze, they can all breathe a little easier as they continued with work as usual while they kept on working with their final trap for Venjix. On the way to the Command Room after taking some time to think things through and recover, Nate and Zoey walked side by side, the former feeling grateful to his crush that she didn't give up hope for him no matter how scared he was over the revelation of his bringing Venjix to their world as Evox.
"We've never faced such a big problem before, I wanted to crawl in a hole and end up in a well of pity... But, you wouldn't let me," he smiled at Zoey. "It's nice to know that, when things get dark and stormy, I can count on you and our friends..."
"It's nice to be counted on," Zoey smiled back as they held hands and went inside the Command Room together where the heroes were just saying their goodbyes to Dr. K as she prepared to head home to Corinth and wipe out any remaining traces of Venjix left.
"Are you sure we can't convince you to stay?"
"Your help has been invaluable just now, Dr. K. And, your wisdom is something we can use to deal with Venjix and help you and your friends finish what you all started in your war against him," Sarah added.
"I'm sorry, Commander, Princess, but I've got to get back to Corinth and check on our systems for any traces of the Venjix Virus. If he made it here without me and my friends knowing, who knows where else he might've gone in order to exact his revenge?" Dr. K politely declined as the heroes gave her knowing smiles over her choice.
She returned their knowing smiles with one of her own as she nodded to Nate and Zoey as they came in, knowing that with Nate back to his old self and knowing that not only the world needs him but that he also has friends by his side and someone who knows how he felt regarding his big folly, he doesn't have to be afraid anymore.
"Thank you for coming, Dr. K., I really thought, that nobody could know how terrible I felt about Venjix. But, you came forward and understood how I felt," he thanked, grateful to Doc K for her help and reassurance as well as her understanding of his plight.
Doc K nodded understandably as she then wisely stated, "You're guaranteed to face challenges such as this in life but you don't need to face them alone, not when you got such good support, wonderful friends, and a loving family around you."
Nate smiled as he and Zoey joined the others and after a little moment she had with Ben and Betty after meeting them earlier in the lab, she was given a dimensional portal device and she opened the trans-dimensional portal that'll take her back to Corinth but not without parting with a few final words for the rangers gathered, knowing what's at stake for all of them and everyone they know and love.
"You all have a beautiful world with such wonderful creatures that nobody could even begin to comprehend. Keep them safe, all of them," she told them.
"We will, Dr. K., and thank you," Sarah replied, giving her a thankful bow and allowing Dr. K to do the same with a warm smile on her face as she left and the portal closed, leaving only the heroes in the Command Room.
"Hey, Sarah, how did it go on your end for you guys? Was the enchantment you had for the towers cast?" Kiawe pondered, wondering about the Morph-X towers.
"It's complex and I've never tried it out before but the enchantment I've placed on it should hopefully buy us enough time."
"What was the enchantment?" Zoey questioned curiously.
"Well, from what I have in mind, it goes like this: Enchant the present access codes and the ones copied by Evox/Venjix in the hands of Scrozzle, his robotic minion from the Grid Battleforce Computers to become incompatible with the current Morph-X Towers around the world systems to prevent Evox/Venjix from accessing the Global Network and taking control of the Towers and harnessing the Morphin Grid and prevent them from falling to his virus completely. This enchantment also denies Evox the ability to absorb Morph-X once inside any of the Morph-X Towers in addition. This enchantment shall only end once Evox/Venjix is defeated once and for all with the spell called Finite."
Ravi blinked as he commented awkwardly, "Well, that was a mouthful. Nothing like the Harry Potter spell incantations, really."
"That's one thing I found moronic about these Animus spells, they have to be specific or they won't work exactly how the caster wants them to. I just hope the one I've placed is enough to give us time to figure out Venjix's other weak points but still, I feel like we need to work on a backup plan knowing how crazy smart he is now that he's Evox."
She then turned to Reader, wanting to know what she was going to say earlier, "Reader, you mentioned there's another way to beat him besides the new arrows Nate, Dr. K, and I made. What was it that we have to do if they're not enough?"
Reader nodded as she then told them, "Yeah, there is. You see, on the way to the lab, I had another vision involving Venjix... It happened, right after Steel was forced to make the ultimate sacrifice, several moments after he was killed and absorbed... I, can't say for certain, but, Commander Shaw, you mentioned that... Evox or Venjix is just data and energy but, your son and our friends, they're human and that's what makes them strong. So, I think... We-"
"Commander! There's an alert, the tower network has been activated!" cried a GB worker, cutting Reader off as the alarm rang.
"What?!" Commander Shaw replied as she and everyone else looked on in shock and surprise while the worker noticed Morph-X towers across the world being activated all at once and without warning, realizing something was very, very wrong.
"All over the planet!"
"Shut down the system."
"I can't control it, the network has been disconnected from our system!"
Commander Shaw and Sarah soon both had an eerie feeling as they and everybody else realized that Venjix has somehow once again found a loophole in their plans, allowing him and Scrozzle to carry out his endgame in perfect fashion as they looked at each other.
"Sarah, is it possible that Venjix might've foreseen this when he made his plan involving Robo-Blaze and the access code fakeout?"
"I'm sure now; Reader's visions are coming true, Venjix must've known we'd have a trap laid out for him so he's cut us off somehow by going forward with his plan with a slip-up he purposefully made so while we were dealing with the towers and Robo-Blaze, the way would still be clear for Scrozzle to pull this off!"
Sarah and Commander Shaw's fears along with everyone else's were once again proven true as Venjix reappeared via a video call as he smugly told the heroes, "You're right on the money, Princess. You fools were so busy dealing with Blaze and enchanting the towers so I'd waddle into your little playpens of destruction for me when I least expect it, I've been carefully setting up a secret passageway to bypass your pathetic magical barriers, allowing Scrozzle to infiltrate one of the towers from underground and gain access the Global Morph-X Tower Network."
"And, now, thanks to you meddling kids being so distracted and scattered about, your beloved seer's visions once again ring true and the entire tower network is under my control! All those towers will be your doom and with your world under my mercy, there's nothing you can do to stop me!"
Everyone was stunned as Venjix cackled until Sarah roared, "VENJIX!"
