Welcome, to the next chapter of Legacy Through Remnant

Hope you enjoy it!

"Speaking"

'Thinking'

[Morphers]

*Sounds*

The Kikconsume towered over the rangers as well as every other building in Vale. "Here, let me try and shoot the head." The Pink Ranger said confidently, stepping forward she aimed her Road Blitzer at the giant monster's head. Before she fired, another figure shouted and launched an attack at the rangers.

"Doomerang!" The rangers were then blasted away by Deletor's 'Doomerang'. "Try all you want, rangers, but I'm unstoppable!" Deletor boasted from the top of the Kikconsume's head. The giant mechanical monster then proceeded to continue the rampage its components unleashed before it. The citizens of Vale screamed in horror, the Huntsmen have failed, and these 'Power Rangers' have seemed to run out of options.

"How are we going to beat that thing? We can't fight it, and any attack we throw is going to be countered by Deletor!" The Blue Ranger shouted angrily. "Guys, don't worry." The Yellow Ranger calmed their worries. "If you've ever seen the Power Rangers in action, you'll know what they do when faced with a giant monster." *beep* *beep* The rangers looked down to their morphers.

"Rangers, come in rangers." The Chronicler could be heard from the Memoir Morphers. "Chronicler, Terminax's goons have turned into a giant metal lizard." The Red Ranger stated worriedly to the robot. "Do not fret, I am sending you machines that will even the odds between you and this Kikconsume.

Remnant, Command Base

The Chronicler ended his call with the rangers and quickly went over to his ship's main computer. A button soon flashed red, thus The Chronicler spun his arm around, hitting it. As he did, the monitor turned red with the word 'Launch', in bold appearing.

Remnant, Vale

Large thuds could soon be heard as five large mechanical beings fell to the ground. One was a red and black lion with a gold mane and orange eyes. Another was a blue and black spaceship with blue wings in a V-shape. The next was a yellow and black golem with large fists. Another was a green and black spinosaurus with a saw in place of what would usually be its spine. Lastly, was a pink and black formula race car revving its engine.

The five zords then raced to the rangers' location. As they did, the zords bashed into the Kikconsume, briefly knocking it down. "Look at those zords, they're awesome." Anne excitedly called out at the prospect of piloting her own zord. "They are really something." The Green Ranger added in. "Alright guys, let's scrap this overgrown toaster!" The Red Ranger called out as the rangers proceeded to jump into their zords.

"Lion Legacy Zord!"

"Astro Legacy Zord!"

"Golem Legacy Zord!"

"Spino Legacy Zord!"

"Formula Legacy Zord!"

Inside the cockpits of the zords was a platform with a panel at the side in the rangers' respective colors. "Woah, this is cool." Shaye awed at his zord. He then looked over at the panel and noticed it had a hole in the shape of his morpher. "Hmm, this must go in here." He then removed the morpher from his wrist and placed it in the hole. As he did, the platform lit up and a screen appeared with the view from the zord's perspective. "Alright!" The Red Ranger then jumped onto the platform and got into a battle ready stance.

The other rangers performed similar action to Shaye, now the fight was once again back on. "Ha, you really think these oversized toys can beat my Kikconsume?" Deletor mocked the rangers, believing in the superiority of the Kikconsume. The zords charged forwards making minor hits on the enemy. "Woah!" Deletor screamed as the hits rocked where he was standing. "That's how you wanna play, huh?" The Kikconsume then launched energy beams from its claws, hitting the zords.

"Arrrgh." Kris clenched in pain from the barrage. In retaliation, the Blue Ranger fired lasers from the tips of his wings. "Astro Barrage!" Seeing his chance, Nic began to unleash an attack of his own. "Spino Cutter!" The saw on the Spino Legacy Zord's back began spinning, as it was charging at the Kikconsume. The zord then jumped and hit it with the saw causing sparks to fly.

"Lisa Lavender of Vale News Network, here. I'm here in Vale where the most unusual battle has occurred. An army of robots appeared in Vale being led by another robot screaming his name is 'Deletor' before being opposed by a group called 'The Power Rangers'. As you can see now the army of robots have turned into a giant one and the rangers themselves have called in their own robots. More on this story later…

"This is getting annoying!" Deletor screamed in anger. "Kikconsume, obliterate them!" The Kikconsume readied another energy beam, this time coming from its mouth.

Before the beam could be fired though, another shout was heard. "Did you really forget about us?" The Yellow Ranger called out. Deletor looked behind him, seeing the Golem Legacy Zord riding on top of the Formula Legacy Zord. "Time for some double action!" The Pink Ranger yelled out. The Yellow Ranger's zord then jumped from the Pink Ranger's zord, knocking the mechanical menace forward and canceling its attack.

The Pink Ranger then sped up her zord before ramming it into the Kikconsume. The Kikconsume began flying forwards, unable to stop. "How can this be possible?" Deletor questioned in rage. "No one on this planet had this kind of power, why now of all times when conquest was fully at hand?" "Now Shaye!" Natalie screamed towards the Red Ranger. The Lion Legacy Zord was now in front of the flying monster in readiness for a final assault. "Leo Blaze!" Shaye called out. With that, the zord's mane opened up and began spinning rapidly. Flames began to appear on the spinning mane before the zord unleashed a fire tornado. "That's… probably not good." Deletor could only say as the attack reached him. The Kikconsume roared as it was hit before exploding.

The zords gathered in front of the explosion, and with that their first battle was over. The rangers jumped out of their zords, as they did the zords were teleported away, presumably back to The Chronicler's ship. "That was… amazing!" Anne screamed in delight over their victory. "I'll admit, it feels nice to kick Deletor's butt." Kris joined in, showing a rare amount of comradery. "But didn't Deletor say he was a general of Terminax? Wouldn't that mean Terminax is going to eventually attack again?" Nic asked cautiously. "What kind of planet conqueror doesn't?" Natalie jokingly replied. "Alright you guys, let's…" Before Shaye could finish his thought, a new voice butted in. "Excuse me?"

A light-blonde lady approached them. She had green eyes with glasses, and she was wearing a white blouse with a black skirt, leggings, heeled boots, and a cape that was purple on the inside. Most oddly though, she had a riding crop holstered to her side. "I thank you for saving Vale, but who are you?" The woman questioned. "We're the Power Rangers, did you not hear us shout it?" The Red Ranger simply responded. "No, who are you really, under the helmets, besides the fact that no official huntsmen team has ever had five members, no one has ever heard of you." "Huntsmen?" Shaye asked, confused at the term. "So, you're not huntsmen." The woman put her head in her hand. "There's someone who would like a word with you."

"Sorry, we uhh really should be going." Shaye tried to get away from the lady, feeling that going with her was a bad idea. The rest of the team shared this sentiment as revealing their identities when they were not native to this planet would raise some questions. As the Red Ranger turned to walk away however, he was caught in a purple energy field. He turned back to the lady as she was now pointing her riding crop at him. "Unfortunately, this is not a request." The lady threatened, getting closer. Before she could interrogate the rangers further, they were whisked away in a flash of light, leaving the witch confused.

Remnant's Moon, Terminax's Ship

Terminax glared at his monitor, showing the destruction of the Kikconsume. "Power Rangers." Terminax gritted through his non-existent teeth. He was familiar with the term, but not fully aware of their extent. Terminax decided to gauge their scale by plugging into his ship, which had been recording information over the years while being offline. The download of information only took a few minutes, as it finished when someone entered the room Terminax was in.

"I don't know how… but I survived." Deletor huffed. The general had visible cracks all over his body and was holding his left arm. Terminax ignored him as he got up and went up to a locked cabinet. "Those stupid rangers blew up my Kikconsume, how are we gonna invade Remnant now?" "Fret not Deletor." Deletor looked at his master who was inputting the code to the cabinet. "The rangers may be an unexpected variable, but it is one that can be easily rectified."

"By the way, not that I'm questioning you Lord Terminax, but uh, why are we trying to conquer this planet?" Deletor asked in fear. "I have my reasons, Deletor." As he stated this, he pulled out the item from the locked cabinet. Terminax pulled out a container filled with gear-like items. They had a black outer rim with talons outlining the rim, and in the center was gray with black cracks. "Ooo, what are these?" Deletor asked, curious about the items.

"These Deletor, are Data Gears. They will be the key to our victory" Terminax proclaimed. Deletor chuckled at the prospect of getting back at the rangers, he then stopped as another thought crossed his mind. "By the way, Lord Terminax." Terminax turned back to look at his servant. "The rest of Vale didn't seem to have the same level of technology the rangers had. In fact, it looked like they didn't even know of the rangers at all."

With that Terminax dove deep into thought. Not of Remnant? That makes somewhat sense, teams of Power Rangers did mostly form on or from the planet Earth. Also, from his research Remnant had yet to achieve space travel, cutting them off from intergalactic affairs, meaning no knowledge of the Power Rangers, also meaning no team has shown up prior. However, that contradicts earthen Power Rangers, because if they have no space travel how would earthen Power Rangers get here. That only leaves teleportation, and the only one who knows of Remnant and has a teleporter is himself and… him.

Terminax's visor flared with energy. His battle with The Chronicler begins once more.

Remnant, Command Base

The rangers were suddenly back within The Chronicler's ship. They promptly demorphed as their ordeals with both Deletor and that lady was over. "I guess I'll be the first to say it. What the heck was that!" Natalie suddenly shouted. "Chronicler, you didn't tell us this planet's people had superpowers!" "That is what the population would call a Semblance." The Chronicler calmly answered.

"A Semblance?" Nic questioned. "A Semblance is a personal ability reflecting one's soul, which stems from Aura. That on the other hand, is a manifestation of the soul, providing abilities such as enhanced durability and self-healing." The Chronicler briefly lectured. "So, these people evolved to have it? Like the people of KO-35?" Anne questioned further.

KO-35- A planet where its people have also evolved into humans. Alongside that the planet's humanity developed a limited telekinesis ability. It is the home planet to the Red and Silver Space Rangers and the second Pink Galaxy Ranger.

"In layman's terms, yes." The Chronicler bluntly stated. "Another thing…" Kris continued off of Anne's question. "What are the zords made of, they must be extremely durable to survive a fall from space." "Who said anything about space?" The Chronicler looked at Kris puzzled. "You did, you said we're in a spaceship…" Kris hesitantly replied in confusion from The Chronicler. Said robot simply walked over to one of the walls with metal blinds that covered most of it. He then hit a button, retracting the blinds revealing the mound of rocks that showed up on the other side of the window.

"I see I have failed to inform you that we are not in space, but rather the planet Remnant itself. More specifically, we are encased within a mountain just outside the city of Vale you were just in." "Okay, I followed you on that first part but lost me in the second. A mountain takes thousands of years to form, how long have you been here?" Kris probed further. "Longer than this planet knows." The Chronicler vaguely answered. Kris was about to dig deeper into this if not for Shaye asking a question of his own.

"Us in a mountain aside, there was something that lady said that confused me. What's a huntsman?" The Chronicler motioned them to follow and lead them back to the main computer. "Huntsmen are this world's form of protection." The Chronicler stated while pulling up some images of miscellaneous huntsmen. "They use their semblances and weapons that utilize 'mecha-shift' technology, which allows their weapons to take on another form. They defend humanity against threats." "That would explain that guy's tuba bazooka." Nic commented on the huntsman's strange weapon.

"Wait a minute, you said that they protect humanity. What are they protecting them from?" Anne dug deeper into The Chronicler's explanation. "Well besides human threats such as bandits, there are these." The Chronicler then loaded images of four pitch black monsters. They resembled a wolf, a bear, a scorpion, and a large bird respectively, with their defining feature being a skull-like mask with red markings and eyes.

"What the heck?" Natalie could only say at the appearance of these monsters. "These are called Grimm." The Chronicler continued. "As long as humanity can remember they've been a threat, causing the need for huntsmen and their academies." "Academies?" The word piqued Shaye's curiosity about the planet's protectors. "Huntsmen train the next generation from a young age, and with their population being significantly smaller than Earth's, it's needed. The one closest to us is called Beacon, with their headmaster being the symbol for all huntsmen, Ozpin." The Chronicler pulled up another image of Beacon Academy along with some pictures of the academy's headmaster as well. Ozpin was a man with gray hair and was wearing a dark green shirt with a lighter green scarf, he was also wearing a black overcoat and glasses. Standing next to him however was the same woman from before.

"It's that woman again!" Kris exclaimed. The rangers were obviously surprised at the woman's presence at the academy. "Maybe she wanted to take us to Ozpin." Anne remarked at the woman's possible motives. "Is it possible to still take up her offer? This Ozpin guy looks like he has better knowledge of the world, maybe we can ask him for help." Shaye suggested "I wouldn't recommend that course of action." The Chronicler butted in. The rangers only looked back at him in confusion.

"He is part of how this world currently is."

Remnant, Beacon Academy

Ozpin sits in his office sipping a cup of coffee, waiting for the report on the situation in town today. The blonde woman then returns, clearly in a miffed state. "So, what happened out there, Glynda?" The woman, now revealed to be named Glynda, huffed before answering. "Besides the fact that Vale was invaded by robots of unknown origin, they were also defeated by a group calling themselves 'Power Rangers'."

"Not huntsmen?" Ozpin raised his eyebrow in intrigue about this mysterious group. "No, they only expressed confusion at the word, but before I could apprehend them, they just vanished in a flash of light." Glynda further expressed her frustration about the situation. Ozpin looked at images from the battle. The technology and prowess these rangers displayed is beyond most huntsmen, they could be a valuable asset against her.

"The rangers aside, what about the robots?" Ozpin changed the subject before Glynda could get even more annoyed. "There's no record of them anywhere, a rogue secret Atlas project perhaps?" Glynda theorized about their potential origin. "No, James couldn't hide an army of this magnitude without showing it off." Ozpin shot down the theory. The room got quiet before Glynda proposed another theory. "Maybe they came from her."

"No, she's more strategic than to just send out a random attack. Even if there was a rise in Grimm activity, there was no benefit to her in this." Ozpin knew her better than anyone, she wouldn't just launch an attack with no benefit to her cause, and if she did, the army would've been composed of Grimm, these so-called "Kikcons" were new. "Then what are they, and what are they after?" Glynda asked in worry of what was to come. "I don't know Glynda, all we know is that things will change from here." Ozpin replied grimly.

Now we have two major players to the story of RWBY being aware of the rangers. Ozpin and Glynda Goodwitch have made their first appearance, as well as Lisa Lavender.

Timeline wise, we are sometime before episode 1, and the events of that episode won't occur until a few chapters from here. Also you probably noticed I didn't cover everything about the world of RWBY, that will happen eventually when the matter becomes important. Besides, there was already a lot of exposition in this chapter, so probably best to save the rest for later.

In other news, Terminax amps up his plans with his Data Gears, meanwhile a silver-eyed girl becomes enamored with the Power Rangers. What will happen to the team from here?
