With the exhibition match between Sarah and Prof. Kukui growing more intense by the minute, Aqua, Goodra, and Keldeo used the last of their combined power to defeat Incineroar until they too collapsed out of exhaustion from their victory. Just as Kukui was about to send out his last Pokémon for the final round, Tapu Koko made a surprise reappearance, proposing to him that he'd battle Sarah once more but with him by his side this time. Now, the strongest team in Alola comes to fruition in the form of Kukui and the Melemele Island Guardian: Tapu Koko himself! And, the first Pokémon to step up to the plate against them is Naganadel from Sarah and her family!
"Wow! This is electrifying, Tapu Koko's kicking things off with Electric Terrain to charge up the battlefield!"
"Amazing!"
"Whoa, charge it!" Hiccup and Zenna breathed.
"It's just like an electric sea!"
"When battling in Electric Terrain, the power of Electric Type moves increases so Tapu Koko and Naganadel can strike up a powerful storm," Delia and Prof. Oak smiled.
"Tapu Koko, I'll battle right along with you as you said! Now, let's win this!" Kukui smiled proudly.
"I'd be honored," Tapu Koko nodded as they faced Sarah and Naganadel.
"Careful, Naganadel, Tapu Koko's a powerful fighter. He's a formidable opponent with what he does and you saw what he's capable of so watch your back!" Sarah warned her Totem Ultra Beast.
"Got it," Naganadel nodded.
"Use Sludge Bomb!"
"Dodge it, Tapu Koko!"
Naganadel was the first to strike as she fired Sludge Bomb at Tapu Koko but rather than dodge the Poison Type attack, the Melemele Land Spirit Pokémon decided to counter it with Steel Wing, protecting himself and leaving no damage on him at all.
"So, Tapu Koko knows Steel Wing," Kukui acknowledged, impressed with how Tapu Koko defended himself with a perfect counter to Sludge Bomb.
"Damn! Tapu Koko used Steel Wing? Well, in that case, Naganadel, use Iron Tail!"
"Use Steel Wing once more!"
Then, Tapu Koko and Naganadel immediately charged toward each other. They soon clashed with Steel Wing and Iron Tail respectively, their Steel Type attacks clashing against one another as sparks were lit between them in steel and white light bolts. As they fought, they matched each other in speed as everyone tried to keep up with their movements; even Caster couldn't take his eyes off how fast they were fighting.
"What speed and power! The clash of powers between an Ultra Beast and an Island Guardian is indescribable and a sight to behold!"

The opening begins with an overview of Sarah, her friends, Asha, and Race standing together with their Partner Pokémon in the midst of a floral field and the full moon before the camera pans forward and passes Sarah upward before the main titles appear in a flurry of light, electricity, and snow.

Nine lights (red, gold, yellow, green, blue, white, crimson, cyan, and an orange/yellow/violet mix) flew around the main titles before passing by and the final light showed Asha, Race, Ash, Kiawe, Lillie, Lana, Mallow, and Sophocles standing in a circle with their backs to each other and looking out on the horizon (with the Alola girls having a tear fall from their eyes, the boys looking determined as they glared hard, Race looks contempt yet determined as a flash of lightning streaks by him, and Asha looks out to her right worriedly and with heartache)

We then quickly pan over to Sarah as she holds her hands in a prayer position with her eyes closed as if she's in some sort of slumber before she eventually wakes up and the camera pans to the moon in a blissful space of wonder.

Sarah is then shown in Ula'Ula's Malie City on a rainy day (while in a hand-painted/CGI background and holding an umbrella over her head) where she turns and suddenly sees a person that looks like Dia with a Shiny Zeraora at a tree while holding an umbrella over his head and reading a book before they took notice of her. The little princess gave a brief yet nostalgic sigh before she was joined by Blitz and Curly and then her boyfriend, sister, and friends as they got together and cheered, throwing their umbrellas up in the air.

Soon, Sarah's friends and Asha along with their Partner Pokémon start to fight against other trainers in the Alola League's elimination and quarter rounds as they climb their way to the Top 16 spots for the official tournament. Sarah and Race stand together as their Pokémon fight before they face each other and they order Blitz and Robbie to go at each other and see who's the better trainer and Pokémon between them.

In the midst of the competition, Team Skull appears to crush the competition and win in their own right with the most prominent of its members showing themselves as follows: Tupp, Zipp, Rapp, Plumeria, and Guzma (the main head of Team Skull preparing to compete himself). Kukui, Lusamine, Wicke, Faba, Burnet, Doug, Delilah, David, and Doug are shown together as they nod to wish everybody participating in the Alola League good luck and we even get a glimpse at an unknown Pokemon appearing from an Ultra Wormhole. Sarah reappears and draws Cosmic Grace before she holds it out and its light shines for all of Alola to see.

The opening ends with quick shots of the main group of nine as they and their Pokémon reappear together and do poses, ready to face the Alola League head-on and have fun no matter who wins or loses the entire tournament.

Before long, Tapu Koko and Naganadel pushed each other back from a deadlock they found themselves in as Sarah chose her next move.
"Use Charm!" she shouted, allowing her Totem Ultra Beast to drastically lower Tapu Koko's Physical Attack stats by two stages and simultaneously weaken him as he nearly fell for her cuteness.
Although Charm weakened the Melemele Island Guardian, he didn't show it as he held his ground and smirked at the royal Poison Pin Pokémon, "Heh... Not bad, kid, not bad. Perhaps, I have taken you too lightly since we started...…."
Sharing Tapu Koko's sentiments and smirk, Kukui called out his next move, "Use Dazzling Gleam!"
Coating himself in Fairy Type aura, Tapu Koko prepared to charge at Naganadel just as Sarah countered, "Oh, you want to play hardball, eh? Two can play at that game! Naganadel, dive in and spin with Iron Tail! Go!"
Readying her main tail pin, Naganadel soared up to the heavens and dive-bombed Tapu Koko as she spun around like a top, the Melemele Island Guardian following her every movement as he flew up to meet her midair and caused both Dazzling Gleam and Iron Tail to clash. The resulting force from the Fairy and Steel Type attacks pushed them back to their respective partners but Tapu Koko and Naganadel weren't finished yet as they readied themselves for their next assaults.
"Use Steel Wing again!"
"Dual Wingbeat!"
Once again, the pair clashed with each other's attacks via their shell and wings before they pushed back as Sarah called for Naganadel's latest attack, "Use Air Slash on the ground, now!"
Heeding her words, Naganadel used Air Slash on the ground to create a giant cloud of dust to shield herself and obscure Tapu Koko's vision. The Melemele Island Guardian, however, looked intrigued as he realized that his home region's princess and Naganadel were going for a new attack approach to keep him off their tails until the moment they struck. He looked around, humming quietly as he braced himself until...….
"*DUAGH!*" he yelped, having been taken by surprise by an unexpected Iron Tail attack.
"*It's a homer! Iron Tail has finally connected and Tapu Koko faltered albeit briefly!*"
"Hey!"
"She did it!"
"Such surprises, that's Sarah!"
"That's Ultra Beast genius right there!" Ash, Sophocles, Lana, and Kiawe cried excitedly.
"Hey, I get it; Island Girl had Naganadel use Air Slash to hide herself from Tapu Koko and use Iron Tail to attack when he least expected her," grinned Race.
"That's just like her, always thinking ahead and getting a beat down from an unknown angle," Gladion smiled.
"Clever, that...… Tapu Koko, use Dazzling Gleam! Once more!" Kukui shouted.
"Spinning Poison Jab!"
As before with their previous attacks, Tapu Koko and Naganadel clashed the same way as they did prior until Sarah and Kukui called out their next moves.
"Discharge/Thunderbolt!"
With a final Discharge and Thunderbolt assault, the Melemele Land Spirit and royal Poison Pin Pokémon attacked for the last time (the power of their Electric Type attacks increased by Electric Terrain). As the two attacks met, an explosion of light and electricity occurred for a brief moment, and when the light and electricity cloud settled, Tapu Koko was still intact and ready to fight but Naganadel was beaten as she lay on the ground, groaning in pain. Tapu Koko had bested the princess of Poipole Fantasy.
Sarah's eyes widened and she fell to her knees in shock as she saw that Tapu Koko had beaten her adopted daughter, "Naganadel..."
"Naganadel is unable to battle! Tapu Koko wins!" Hala declared, resulting in Tapu Koko getting a round of cheers for him and Naganadel getting applause and cheers of her own.
"We expected nothing less from the Melemele Island Guardian from the Ruins of Conflict and he delivered! Tapu Koko's speed and power might be unrivaled! Is there any Pokémon out there and amongst the princess' family that can match him?"
"As expected, Tapu Koko is strong. Very strong..."
"But, Naganadel's great, too! She gave it everything she got against him!"
"She's pushed herself beyond her limits with how they fought!" Lana, Mallow, and Sophocles grinned ecstatically.
"If her mother was here now, she'd be very proud of her," Kiawe smiled, impressed.
"I agree, Kiawe. Let's all cheer for her on her behalf, too!" Lillie agreed heartily as the gang and all their friends and the rest of Sarah's family cheered for the royal Ultra Beast.
Intrigued by their battle, Tapu Koko gently floated over to Naganadel as she weakly opened her eyes and pushed herself up to look at him as he warmly complimented, "….Your mother would be very proud of you."
That was all the royal Ultra Beast needed to hear and with one final smile, she fell into Sarah's arms as the little princess quickly got over her shock and rushed over to her before she fell asleep, completely exhausted. No words needed to be said as Sarah simply smiled at Naganadel and helped her back to her side of the field before handing her to Tyson and Kaji, the two Fire Types promising to look after her before she returned to the battle at hand.
"Now, with the rest of the match done and dusted and Kaji and Tyson stepping out of the final round, Sarah's down to one final Pokémon! But, given her history with the Island Guardians, that final Pokémon is now waiting in the wings to fight Tapu Koko again!"
"The extensive experience of an Island Guardian was simply too much for an inexperienced Ultra Beast such as Naganadel to deal with and that's why she lost despite her best efforts," Lusamine acknowledged in awe and recognition of Tapu Koko's prowess.
"Indeed. But, you must admit, Ms. Lusamine, Naganadel showed incredible talent before us despite how short the battle between them was," Tsukumaro replied as Absol nodded in agreement.
"Our little star did the best she could with Naganadel and we couldn't be more proud of them for that," Delilah concurred.
"That's Prof. Kukui for ya! Or, should I say, the Masked Royal!" grinned Faba, praising Kukui immensely.
"And, if we know Sarah, there's only one Pokémon amongst her family that is truly a match for Tapu Koko," added Wicke, grinning as she directed everyone to Blitz.
"*Thanks, Naganadel, it was great to fight alongside you again and I couldn't be more honored to have you fight with me in the Alola League. You did what you could and that's all I want, Blitz and I will finish this," Sarah thought as she and Blitz looked at each other and shared knowing nods.
Knowing that this is what they've been training for following the last two matches against him, Blitz took his place on the field and braced himself for what would be his ultimate test against Tapu Koko. As they saw the male Alolan Pikachu take his position and Tapu Koko nod at him in approval as he readied himself as well for their final match, the gang, their friends, Asha, and Race couldn't help but grin knowingly.
"Of course, should've known she'd pick him."
"She's going with Blitz!"
"Yeah, when it comes to a match with Tapu Koko, Blitz is her go-to Pokémon."
"No doubt Sarah trained him hard for this so this will be an interesting finale," Kiawe, Mallow, Lillie, and Sophocles remarked in amusement.
"Well, Little Blitz, I see you're charged up. Shall we see if you have the guts to finally beat me?"
"I'm ready!" Blitz and Tapu Koko bantered.
"It's Blitz vs. Tapu Koko Pt. 3! With only these two superstars remaining, Kukui and Sarah are both down to one Pokémon each! And, after a battle of seemingly endless possibilities between the pair, whoever prevails will be the winner of the best Pokémon exhibition match I have ever seen and become the true Alola Champion!"
"And, now, our final round! Battle, begin!" Hala declared, commencing the final battle and Blitz's ultimate test.
"Let's go, Blitz! Begin with a little Double Team ninjutsu!" Sarah called, making the first move and allowing Blitz to charge at Tapu Koko while he made copies of himself.
"Charge in with Dazzling Gleam, go!" Kukui countered, having Tapu Koko charge at Blitz with Dazzling Gleam as he took out the clones but missed the real Blitz in the process.
"Use Quick Attack and Agility for a new combo: Quick Agility!"
Heeding his human mother's words and knowing that his real parents were watching him, Blitz (starting to push himself harder for their sake) bolted towards Tapu Koko again and combined Quick Attack and Agility and jumped to hit him only for the Island Guardian to dodge despite his repeated attempts.
"Use Dazzling Gleam again to throw him off!"
Tapu Koko used Dazzling Gleam for a second time as he came at Blitz but that turned out to be a mistake because, at that moment, Sarah shouted, "Use Iron Tail as a springboard!"
"Springboard?!" gawked Kukui as Blitz smirked and jumped at Tapu Koko before he used Iron Tail to hit him and spring himself up into the air.
Everybody gasped in shocked surprise as Hiccup, Zenna, and Stoick voiced everybody's thoughts, "Hey, look!"
"Holy shields! Did you see that?!"
"Odin's beard!"
"Now, Iron Tail while you drop like a ball! Let gravity do the rest!" Sarah continued as Blitz curled himself into a ball and spun forward while he dropped and prepared his Iron Tail attack, letting gravity carry him down to the surprised Tapu Koko before he finally struck him after hitting the ground.
"It's an Iron Tail gravity hammer! Better have your ice bags ready if you plan to get hit by one of those, folks! He'll be feeling that in the morning!"
"Hmm, so that's it; she used gravity to give Iron Tail more force as Blitz came down at Tapu Koko. Impressive," Kukui smirked, looking impressed as he called out Tapu Koko's next move while he recovered. "Tapu Koko, give Blitz a demonstrate redo of your true power! Nature's Madness, now!"
Taking heed of Kukui's order, Tapu Koko struck his claw into the ground as he began to unleash his most powerful attack.
"Defend yourself with Rising Voltage!" Sarah countered, allowing Blitz to use Rising Voltage to distribute the waves of Fairy Type energy around him and create an explosion.
Tapu Koko quickly flew up as he didn't see Blitz getting hit amidst the explosion but that was yet another folly on his part because the Alolan Pikachu darted at him and used Focus Punch without warning, thrusting his right hand into his face and sending him tumbling to the ground again which allowed him and the little princess to go at him once more.
"Volt Charge!" Charging at Tapu Koko with his Volt Charge combo, Blitz came into contact with Tapu Koko's Discharge (which he fired in response) as the stadium became embedded in a blinding light.
"Beard of Thor, what power!"
"My stars!" gasped Gobber and Prof. Oak as everybody shielded or squinted their eyes (while Delia had her sunglasses on) before they saw Tapu Koko still standing but not without Electric Terrain finally wearing off.
Kukui had to smile as he was thoroughly impressed with what he witnessed throughout Blitz and Tapu Koko's final rematch and he called out to Sarah, "Sarah!"
"Yeah?" Sarah puzzled.
"You've gotten stronger, much stronger than I realized! Ever since the Alola League battles began, you've both grown and matured by leaps and bounds! From what we've all witnessed, you've even surpassed your friends, your sister, and Race throughout the entire league!"
Sarah smiled as she replied, "I have you to thank for that, Professor. Your dream made everything that happened since its inception possible and I can't repay you enough for everything you've done since I joined your school. I've put everything you've taught me into practice with my Pokémon and look out that came out."
"We owe you a lot from our first class with you and beyond, Teach!" Blitz grinned in agreement.
Kukui chuckled knowingly until Tapu Koko floated back over to him and picked up his left arm where his Z-Ring was, puzzling the Alolan Professor until he realized what he wanted, "Tapu Koko? Wait, my Z-Ring...… You want me to use a Z-Move to end your rematch with Blitz and Sarah?"
"Yes," Tapu Koko nodded, leaving Kukui concerned as he noted one familiar problem.
"You see, the thing is I've already used a Z-Move with Incineroar against Keldeo, Aqua, and Goodra's Hydro Vortex in the previous round."
However, Tapu Koko wasn't deterred as he told his partner while he turned and floated high into the air, "*I believe we can make an exception just for my battle.*"
He then began to sing a prayer, surprising everybody as they didn't know what he could be doing to get around Prof. Kukui's Z-Move dilemma.
"Tapu Koko...?"
"Uh, is he...…?"
"Singing?"
"Now?"
"During the final round?" Kukui, Sarah, Blitz, Kaji, and Tyson blinked in bewilderment.
"Huh, so the Island Fighter's got vocals, huh?"
"I didn't know Tapu Koko could sing," Terrakion and Keldeo admitted in surprise as they watched Tapu Koko continue to sing his prayer.
"Well, don't that beat all? He could make America's Got Talent or The Voice with that song," hummed Silvally who was secretly impressed.
"Oh, brother," grumbled Eternatus in annoyance.
The audience, the others, and the trainers in question along with their Pokémon were in for an even bigger surprise as Tapu Koko's prayer drew in Tapu Bulu, Tapu Fini, and Tapu Lele from the other islands and they all joined in.
"Wow, look at that!"
"It's the other Island Guardians!" gasped Anga and Danny.
"Tapu Bulu, Tapu Lele, Tapu Fini? How was Tapu Koko's singing able to get them to come here?" Mudsdale breathed in fascination.
"Okay, that wasssssssss weird," admitted Medusa.
"So cool!" Star commented.
"Now, they're all singing!" Tyrunt pointed out as everybody heard and saw the four Land Spirit Pokémon all singing Tapu Koko's prayer.
"You think they could all make America's Got Talent?"
"Or, The Voice the way they're all singing?"
"They'll probably make off with The Roots from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon at NBC!" Donphan, Braixen, and Piplup cried out, astonished.
"I didn't know those guys can sing."
"Well, they can now."
"Me, neither. How come they never told us they could do that beforehand?"
"But, at least they're singing as well as the SandWings," Toothless, Meatlug, Zangoose, and Stormfly remarked.
The adults, Mimie, Delia, and Prof. Oak all stared in awe and wonder at the sight of the Island Guardians gathering together and singing their prayer, wondering what could be on Tapu Koko's mind regarding a loophole solution to Kukui's Z-Move predicament.
"My goodness!"
"In all our years, we had no idea the Island Guardians could sing a prayer like that!"
"And, in harmony with each other, too!"
"It's marvelous!"
"The harmonies they're producing are simply exquisite!"
"This is amazing!" Delilah, Doug, Tsukumaro, Lusamine, Faba, and Wicke said in stunned awe.
Spherialla, in particular, was becoming deeply touched by her Island Guardian children's singing and prayer as she started to shed tears of joy while Tuschowl, Houratta, and Mizuara along with Pathangle and Angietus looked on in awe and wonder at their younger siblings.
"My babies, never once did I ever imagine them doing something so wonderful," she sniffed proudly.
"Indeed."
"That's true, Mother."
"They're amazing."
"Yes."
"*Mm-hmm,*" her children agreed.
Kukui and Sarah were amazed as they were becoming entranced by the Island Guardians' singing and their prayer before they, Blitz, Kaji, and Tyson noticed the pair's Z-Ring and Z-Power ring glowing brightly together in response to their prayer.
"Well, now... I guess this and Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini's prayer means we'll use our Z-Rings again!" the Alolan Professor smirked brightly just as Tapu Koko floated back down to him after he finished singing and gave him a Z-Crystal to use.
When Kukui took it and saw what it was, he was surprised, and even Hala couldn't help but look on in awe and amazement as he saw the Z-Crystal and realized what type it was.
"Hold on, this Z-Crystal...… Is that a-?"
"A Tapunium Z?"
"A Tapu-what? Prof., am I missing something here? What's going on?" puzzled Sarah in bewilderment as she had no idea that the Island Guardians each had a different Z-Crystal on them.
"Sarah, do you remember the legend involving Tapu Koko and the other guardians when they saved Alola from danger? It was during that time that they and some heroic people used a legendary Z-Move."
The shocked professor then turned to Tapu Koko as he quizzed him, "Is that it? Do you want us to use it? That Z-Move, right now, here? We're doing this?"
No words needed to be said as Tapu Koko smiled determinedly at his partner and nodded, getting an intrigued and equally determined nod back as Sarah voiced her thoughts on the matter.
"So, that's it, eh, Professor? The best of Alola's power in your hands as well as your power against mine; I like it, should make an interesting finale to our match. Let's test your and Tapu Koko's final bout of luck with that Tapunium Z," she challenged, smirking.
"Yeah! Let's see what the Z-Move of the Island Guardians is made of!" Blitz agreed, further exciting Kukui as he and Sarah prepared themselves by swapping out the Firium Z and Waterium Z on their Z-Ring and Z-Power Ring for the Tapunium Z and an Electrium Z.
Sharing a smirk with the little princess, Kukui started to perform the intended Z-Move used by Tapu Koko and his fellow guardians as he activated his Z-Ring, performing the Fairy Type Z-Move poses to upgrade his Nature's Madness into their signature Z-Move.
"Handed down from ancient oral tradition: the legendary Z-Move! People and Pokemon, living together with nature! Everyone existing in a time when all is shared, the Ultimate Z-Power!" he recited proudly as he transferred all of his Z-Power to Tapu Koko and they readied themselves for what was to be a big bang finale to his exhibition match with Sarah.
The ground soon started to shake and shudder violently, catching Sarah, Blitz, Tyson, and Kaji's attention as they noticed Tapu Koko resonating with extreme Z-Power and Fairy Type power and a giant crack forming from underneath him with rock pillars jetting out from underground before a golden-yellow arm appeared.
Sarah, Hala, and Gladion gasped in total shock at what they were seeing and even Blitz couldn't hold back his astonishment as he breathed out, "…..Sweet Thunder of Raikou!"
Kukui reached his life hand out in sync with Tapu Koko's as the Melemele Island Guardian recited, "Older than time itself, man and Pokemon have always known the calling of one! Light of Alola, Strength of Heart, ignite your internal power from inside me! Tapu, Tapu, hear me now! I am pure of heart, mind, body, and spirit from Island Guardians of an age long past! Join me now and demonstrate the true might of Alola's guardian angels, HA-HA!"
The arm jutted out as more of this strange being that came out of the ground revealed itself. Everyone from Sarah's entire family to Burnet, Mimey, Delia, and Prof. Oak looked on in absolute shock as they didn't know what to make of the being which was then shown to be a giant glowing yellow body towering over Sarah and Blitz. Little did either of them know that it was the Z-Move of the current Island Guardians: Guardian of Alola.
"Oh, my!"
"No...…!"
"Okay, that's creepy."
"I can't believe it!"
"Believe it, it's real...!"
"Amazing!" Solon, Izzy, Javi, Ollie, Amelia, and Aiyon gulped, astonished and a little frightened by the giant body.
"No...Way!"
"Is this for real?!"
"How is it like that?!"
"Beard of Thor, look at the size of that monstrosity!"
"It's HUGE!" Astrid, Tuffnut, Snotlout, Gobber, and Zenna freaked.
"Cool... Cool, cool, coolio," Zayto remarked quietly, trying to contain his shock and disbelief but failing as his eyes bugged out.
"What in the world is that?!"
"It's so big!"
"Too big!"
"Super gigantic by the looks of it," Kiawe, Lillie, Lana, and Ruffnut breathed.
"And, if it's that big, it's gotta be as tall as the Red Death queen or bigger like those Titan things from that Attack on Titan TV show you guys showed us earlier," Fishlegs agreed with Tuffnut's twin.
"I don't know. It must be a Z-Move that only the Island Guardians know if they were to have their own Z-Crystal," Race put in.
"I didn't know the Island Guardians had their own Z-Move," blinked Asha, astonished.
"Well, now you know," Ash gulped worriedly.
"Hold on! Are Sarah and Blitz supposed to battle that giant?" Mallow pondered, wondering if it would be possible for Sarah and Blitz to counter Guardian of Alola.
"I think so but that thing's humongous!" Sophocles replied despite having doubts about Sarah winning against Tapu Koko's Z-Move.
"Big whoop, my pipsqueak's crushed a lot of big bad wolves larger than that walking bomb of neon and she even crushed me when I was in my Eternamax form. This thing's nothing to her, you'll see," Eternatus scoffed indifferently (surprisingly having a lot of faith in his trainer despite how blunt he is).
"Yeah! Uncle Eternatus is right!"
"Auntie also took out the Red Death with Uncle Hiccup and Auntie Zenna's help!"
"She got this!" Dart and her brothers agreed determinedly.
"Yeah! MIGHTY SARAH, MIGHTY SARAH!" the Poms nodded as they cheered.
Kiawe smiled and nodded, feeling that Shadow and Winter's Night Lights, the Poms, and Eternatus were right as he stood from his seat and cheered loudly for Sarah to hear, "You can do it, Sarah! We're with you!"
The rest of the gang and Sarah's entire family concurred as they all joined in, "Go get 'em!"
"Come on, Mom/You got this/Give it to 'em, Mama/Cleave that giant to the brisket/Go, go, go/You can do it, Blitz/Take it home/Yeah/Hang in there, Blitz, Sarah/We're with you, Princess/Take that giant glow-man down/Blitz, don't give up/Don't chicken out on us/Win it/You'll never live it down if you lose to that guy/Get 'em/WHOOOOOOOOO/YEEEEESSSSSS/Do it/Come on/Win it for us!"
"Come on, Island Girl! You've already come this far! Give it to Kukui and Old Koko!"
"Win it for all of us and your parents, Sis!" Race and Asha encouraged determinedly.
Sarah was nervous as she looked at the being who was part of the Guardian of Alola Z-Move, frozen in shock as she didn't know what to think until the cheers of her friends and family came to her and she noticed her Electrium Z beginning to glow brightly. It was as if the Z-Crystal was somehow telling her (despite being an inanimate object) that she and Blitz could counter Guardian of Alola in a way and if she was going to hesitate and throw in the towel, thus dishonoring herself, her family, and Tapu Koko in the process.
"Mom...… We can do it, let's finish this," Blitz reassured, giving his human mother a determined smirk.
Sarah looked between her Electrium Z and Blitz and smiled, nodding as she steeled herself and they prepared themselves to go at Guardian of Alola.
However, there was another surprise in store for them; along with the Electrium Z, another glow came from her necklace (the necklace given to her by Zelda) as it started to shimmer from around her neck and light up her side of the field.
"What's this? What's that bright light coming from Sarah's side?"
The little princess was greatly astonished as she kept her eyes on the necklace (its bright shimmer not blinding her, Blitz, and an equally astonished Kaji and Tyson in the slightest) and watched it gently float off of her neck and grow into twice its actual size before it morphed. At that moment, it transformed into a new kind of Pokémon the world had never seen for it was an even bigger mystery compared to Ash's Melmetal and his pre-evolved form.
The newcomer was a tiny turtle-like Pokémon that had a dark indigo-blue body with its shell looking like a light blue-yellow gradient gemstone and a white design on top of it. Its legs had teal star-like gems and one ring around each of them in the same color coupled with a long tail ending in the same star-like shape, being similar to a rotated "X".
What's more, its neck appeared in a similar state to its legs, first beginning with a teal ring with a star pattern around it to its head which had three teal diamond-shaped gem extensions (two from both sides which acted like diamond-shaped ears and one on its forehead with the latter shaped in a strand that fades to pink). And, to top it all off, it had large blue eyes with white star shapes acting as its pupils. It was truly nothing that Sarah, her friends, and her family had ever seen.
"Oh, my Arceus..."
"W-W-W-W-Wha...WHAAAAAAT?!" Cobalt and Tou-Tou spluttered, aghast as their eyes bugged out.
"Uh, Ms. Zelda, was that supposed to happen?" Stufful asked Zelda curiously, tilting her head at the new Pokémon.
Zelda and Link were left in shock as the female Iron Leaves replied, "I-I... I don't know, I never knew that necklace I took with me would be a live Pokémon! I never thought this would happen!"
"Incredible! Whoever was responsible for that necklace must've known it would instead be a Pokémon!" Link added in fascination.
"Whoa! What an astonishing creature! I've never seen a Pokémon like that! But, could it be a species we don't know of yet?"
Race then noticed his necklace shimmering in response to the new Pokémon that had awakened in front of his girlfriend as he thought, "What, or, who are you...?"
The new Pokémon looked towards its owner and fellow Pokémon and cooed cutely before it shimmered brightly again and transformed, its body now becoming primarily light blue with a yellow gradient dotted in certain places and fluffy while having three large and fluffy tails that had the same light blue-yellow gradient. Its head was now primarily dark blue and had a pair of eyes that had a light blue sclera and two diamond shapes through the center of its head that extended from its body from either side.
The new shell it had gained was now covered with 19 scutes with the first 18 having different symbols on them that resembled all eighteen Pokémon Types while the last scute instead had a large gemstone embedded on it. To complete its new look, it had light blue diamond-shaped scutes surrounding the scutes with the Pokémon Type symbols on them, running around its bottom.
"No..."
"Great Rayquazas..." Kaji and Tyson breathed again, still astonished.
"...Who are you?" a still-astonished Blitz gasped, getting the Pokémon's attention as it turned to him.
The Pokémon cooed again before it enveloped the Alolan Mouse Pokémon in beautiful crystals and the crystals shattered to reveal him covered from head to toe in a crystal coat. And, in addition to his new coat, he now had a strange crown on his head that had eighteen large crystals surrounding him.
Before he or Sarah knew it, all of the Z-Crystals in their family's possession gathered in front of them and they slowly circled the former as he began to float up into the air (which also included the Electrium Z still attached to Sarah's Z-Power Ring as it dislodged itself and floated with the other Z-Crystals). As they did so, Blitz suddenly felt their power coming together and increasing in strength before they all fused into a new Z-Crystal.
"Wow...…." Blitz breathed in silent awe as his eyes widened, seeing the new Z-Crystal take the form of a rainbow-colored Z-Power Crystal that had the shape of a heart in the middle of it.
Then, without warning, the Z-Crystal inserted itself into Sarah's Z-Power Ring and its energy seeped out into the Alolan Mouse Pokémon, mixing itself with the strange crystal energy he got from the new Pokémon and creating what looked like a giant avatar in his species' shape but with him in the middle of it akin to the likes of Pieck Finger, Reiner Braun, Eren Jaeger, Bertholdt Hoover, Armin Arlert, Annie Leonhart, Zeke Jaeger, Falco Grice/Porco Galliard/Ymir Fritz, and Lara Tybur with their respective Titans (Nine Titans) from Attack on Titan.
The crowd gasped as the Poms voiced everyone's thoughts, "GIANT PIKACHU!"
"Awesome!" Aiyon and the Viking Twins hollered excitedly.
"Say, what?!"
"Unbelievable! I've never seen anything like it in my life!" Liberty and Solon spluttered, staggered by what they were seeing.
Sarah was in complete astonishment as she looked between the new Pokémon, Blitz with his new crystalized form and inside his new giant avatar that stood as tall as Tapu Koko's Guardian of Alola, and the new Z-Power Crystal she obtained before she noticed her Z-Power Ring changing colors as it gained a new rainbow color like her Z-Power Crystal while it shimmered brightly.
"What's this?" she breathed, amazed by what had happened to her Z-Power Ring.
She looked back at Tapu Koko's avatar and nodded, deciding to give her and Blitz's new power and Z-Power Crystal for a test drive, "Okay, Blitz, I don't know what's going on... But, I think it's time we took these new powers of ours for a spin!"
"I'm ready!" Blitz nodded as he readied his avatar and it reared itself up to attack.
Kukui, looking thoroughly amazed by this, smirked as he did a downward punch in response to this new challenge as he yelled, "Right! Tapu Koko, use Guardian of Alola!"
Prepping himself as he became the head of his Z-Move body, Tapu Koko moved in sync with Prof. Kukui as he did the downward punch to use Guardian of Alola at full strength to clinch the rematch for him and his human friend/partner. Seeing the fist of Tapu Koko's Z-Move body coming down towards Blitz, Sarah activated her Z-Power Ring before transferring her own Z-Power to Blitz, bringing out the happiest memory of her life as she did with her Patronus and using that to fuel her and Blitz's new powers from their new companion.
"With our friendships, love, and light of Alola, all that have conquered the darkness plaguing our world, unleash your undying might to ensure peace and tranquility forever and for all time! It's Morphin' Time, Blitz! Use our new Z-Move, UNITY ULTIMA!" Sarah recited proudly.
All the while, she performed a series of Z-Move poses in the form of the beginning of Izzy's morph to the Green Dino Fury Ranger, one of the ending Ohranger morph poses (crossing her left arm housing her Z-Power Ring across her chest before she placed it by the right side of her waist in a fist while raising her open right hand), twisting herself a little to the right while bending her right arm down and clenching her right hand in a fist up high, punching with both hands clenched in fists like the Space Power Rangers after their first morph together, and finally, performing the MMPR morpher poses as she called out her and Blitz's new Z-Move.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Blitz roared as his avatar charged at Tapu Koko's Guardian of Alola avatar, the pair colliding with each other in a storm of power and wind.
For a moment, it looked as though Tapu Koko and Blitz were evenly matched as they pushed against each other effortlessly. However, because he was fueled by the love, friendship, and light of his and Sarah's family and the new Z-Power Crystal's energy, his avatar slowly began to overpower Tapu Koko's avatar and push back against it.
At that moment, briefly ending up in a white limbo, Blitz and Sarah recalled everything they had gone through for the past two years since they came together as a young girl and a Pokémon egg and the moments after they joined the Pokémon School while meeting their friends for the first time.
"Mom, can you feel it? Everything we've been through, all of this power from Alola and beyond...… It all came from us, our family, our friends, the places we've seen, and all the people and creatures we met since our journey started. All the battles we fought in the Island Challenges and when we and our friends became Power Rangers to save the world from your crazed uncle and his crew and the likes of Evox, our losses, our triumphs... Before, I've never felt anything like this. Everything we did has made us and our family and friends into the people, Pokémon, and creatures we are now," Blitz smiled warmly, thinking back on the many highs and lows they went through since their journey together began.
Sarah smiled back as she said, "You're right; we felt it all before, the Grand Trials, the regular preliminary trials, our battles, our victories, our losses, the friends and family we made and found along the way, learning something new at every turn...… Everything we did embodies what many would call the 'Spirit of Alola', something that encompasses everything that Alola stood for."
Shedding a happy tear, Sarah sighed and grinned with determination as she proudly declared, "And, now...… To show Tapu Koko how much we've grown and become who we are now, we're going to become one with the Spirit of Alola and the power that our home region, everyone we met and welcomed to our family, and everything we did, since we began our journey, gave us. Are you with me?"
"You bet!"
Getting back to their battle, the two of them mustered all of the love, light, and friendship of their family they could get and thus poured it into their new Unity Ultima Z-Move against Tapu Koko.
Realizing what was going on and feeling something different from his old challengers, Tapu Koko was starting to become flustered as he found himself being forced back and his Guardian of Alola failing against their Unity Ultima, "E-W-What's going-AHH?! I-I-IMPOSSIBLE!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH/AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Straining themselves hard as they became one with what they called the "Spirit of Alola" while performing their Unity Ultima Z-Move, Sarah and Blitz screamed as hard as they could (akin to Sailor Jupiter's scream in the penultimate episode of the first season of the classic Sailor Moon (VIZ dub) anime) and unleashed an unbreakable torrent of power through their love and friendship with their family and the light they gained from them. Their combined power resonated across the stadium and their determined screams echoed everywhere as they let themselves loose one final time while their family and friends looked at them in complete awe and fascination.
Even Prof. Kukui couldn't help but marvel at them as they destroyed Tapu Koko's avatar and landed a powerful hit on him, ending the match in a giant cloud of wind and smoke and a tube of light after an explosion, forcing him and Sarah to stand their ground before either of them could be blown away. All the while, he couldn't help but grin excitedly, fascinated by what he had seen out of his brightest student while everyone else looked on in shock.
When the tube of light vanished, the wind died down, and the smoke finally cleared, the silence that followed was amazing. With the exhibition match over and done with, the rainbow Z-Power Crystal broke off into its original eighteen base Z-Crystals and they returned to her Z-Crystal case (with her Z-Power Ring retaining its new color).
"Huh...? Tapu Koko?" Kukui breathed as he looked up and saw Tapu Koko floating down to the field while an exhausted Blitz and Sarah were reunited.
The two of them also looked up and saw Tapu Koko floating down to the field but when they took a closer look at him, they noticed that he opened himself up and remained still for a few seconds before he finally fell. Everyone watched in shock as they waited to see if he would wake up but he never did; at long last, after two challenges and two losses in both matches in different circumstances, Sarah and Blitz had finally won.
Olivia, Hapu, and Nanu got up from their seats and watched Tapu Koko but when they didn't see him move and get back up, they looked at Hala and nodded.
The Melemele Island Kahuna looked at the defeated Tapu Koko as well and nodded back, stepping up to the field and declaring, "Tapu Koko is unable to battle! The winner of this exhibition match and Island Guardian challenge is our fair lady: Princess Sarah Tomoe!"
Sarah sat down in shock at the exhibition match being handed to her as the revelation of Tapu Koko defeated by her and Blitz's hands sunk in while the crowd cheered like mad for her. She couldn't believe it; finally, after two successive failures in their previous matches with him, they had beaten Tapu Koko of all Pokémon. Even Blitz couldn't help but gaze in shock at Tapu Koko lying defeated on the rubble where his Guardian of Alola avatar once stood, unsure of what to say regarding his and Sarah's ultimate victory.
Eventually, the two of them smiled brightly as they bantered to each other, "...Blitz, did that just happen?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it did..."
"Does that mean...…?"
"We did it...?"
"...….WE DID IT/**WE DID IT**!"
"YEEEEEEEEEAH/YEEEEEEEEEAH!" And, with a hearty cheer of their own, Blitz nuzzled her happily and they laughed together before Kaji, Tyson, and a reawakened Naganadel (who was woken up by the explosion and saw everything) jumped them and joined in their victory celebration.
"THE PRINCESS WINS THE MATCH! THE PRINCESS WINS THE MATCH! THE PRINCESS WINS THE MATCH!"
"SHE DID IT, SHE FINALLY DID IT!"
"COOL IS THE RULE, DUDE! AND, COOL IS WHAT MY BABE IS! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!" Rotom-Dex and Rotoscope screamed excitedly as they took pictures of the victory celebration as the other Pokémon, the mythicals, the gang, the Dino Fury Rangers and Solon, and the adults applauded and cheered for the little princess and Blitz (with Toothless and the other dragons roaring and firing their attacks into the air heartily, creating fireworks in celebration of Sarah's greatest victory).
"ALRIGHT, SARAH!"
"WAY TO GO, BLITZ!" Ash and Pikachu boomed.
"Yes, yes, YES!"
"**WHOOOOOO!**" hollered an ecstatic Lillie and Snowy, the former looking close to crying tears of joy for her best friend.
"She did it! She won the match! And, against Prof. Kukui and Tapu Koko of all people and Pokemon! They did win, right?" Sophocles breathed with a bright smile, amazed by what he witnessed.
"You did it, Blitzy!"
"You rock, you rule, Sparks! YEAH!" Togedemaru and Vikavolt cried, looking just as amazed.
Kiawe was already shedding tears of joy of his own for Sarah and Blitz and Mallow and Lana hugged each other as they squealed excitedly along with their Pokémon, feeling proud for the pair.
"Alright!"
"That was the best match I've ever seen!"
"Way to go, Sarah! You too, Blitz!"
"Now, those two are real winners!"
"I'm speechless!" Ollie, Javi, Amelia, Izzy, and Aiyon remarked, also feeling ecstatic about Sarah and Blitz's win.
"I tell ya what, Solon, against Tapu Koko and Kukui...…. Even I'm amazed that they finally beat them hands down, especially after finding out that Kukui was the Masked Royal the whole time," Zayto grinned at Solon.
"I'll say, And, from that unexpected twist at the end, I think it's safe to say that those two are what they call the 'Spirit of Alola'! Congratulations, you two, WHOO-HOO!" agreed Solon as she joined in the cheers.
"That was amazing!"
"AWESOME!" Fishlegs and Snotlout remarked.
"She rocks!"
"Blitz was great, too!"
"They're both great!" Astrid, Hiccup, and Zenna spoke up as they appeared.
"THE BEST! UNH!" grinned Ruffnut and Tuffnut as they banged their helmets and heads together in celebration.
"That lass and her mouse... By Odin's Beard, they're gonna go places...…."
"Aye. They may not seem like much but with surprises like that, and with all the power and elegance they can muster, they're more than meets the eye," Stoick and Gobber remarked proudly.
"Brilliant, just brilliant!"
"So moving, and so amazing, I can't stand it! They're just that great!"
"The greatest Pokémon Champion! EVER!" Kiawe, Mallow, and Lana praised wholeheartedly.
"THE GREATEST/YEAH/WHOO!" the Pokémon, dragons, and mythicals agreed, feeling just as ecstatic and proud of Sarah as the others.
Even Gladion, Hau, Raine, and their Pokemon couldn't help but join in as they also cheered for Sarah and Blitz regarding their long-awaited victory against Tapu Koko and for winning the exhibition match.
"What do you know? She did it," Gladion grinned.
"Well done, Sarah!"
"Congratulations!" Raine and Hau cried as they, Primarina, and Decidueye applauded.
"Capital job, my friends! Capital job!"
"Stellar work, Sarah! You, Aqua, and the rest of your team can make a mother proud!" grinned the Alola Starters in question.
"Wow, Mom, I still can't believe it...… We did it, we won! We finally beat Tapu Koko!" Blitz said as Aqua, Keldeo, Goodra, Dracovish, and Kurma reawakened and got outside of their Pokeballs after they heard the results and the cheering that followed.
"Wow, kiddo, are you serious?"
"You guys won the match?"
"Did you two actually beat Tapu Koko AND Prof. Kukui?" Kurma, Aqua, and Keldeo quizzed in amazement.
"Yep, we sure did. And, we have all of you, our family, our friends, and all of Alola to thank for that! Come here," Sarah grinned as they, Kaji, Naganadel, and Tyson got together for a group hug and laughed.
The little princess even turned her attention to the new Pokémon as it cooed cutely again and made its way toward her, prompting her to say, "And, we couldn't have done it without you as well, little guy. Thanks!"
The turtle-like Pokémon cooed happily in response before it shimmered again and reverted to its original tiny turtle-like form before it waddled over to relax on her lap.
"I just can't believe it."
"Yeah, we've beaten Incineroar and the rest of Kukui's team apart from his last Pokémon AND Mom and Blitz got to battle Tapu Koko for a third time and win in today's exhibition match."
"Is this for real or are we dreaming?" Kaji, Goodra, and Tyson breathed, they and the rest of their team still riding on cloud nine regarding their victory against Kukui and Tapu Koko.
"He-he-he-he-he! It's not a dream, friends, you're all awake and alive~!" giggled Tapu Lele as she appeared before them and spread her scales across the entire field with Sarah seeing the scales raining down on her Pokémon and healing all of them.
She had to smile as she remembered her, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini having arrived to make her and Kukui's Z-Move showdown possible with their and Tapu Koko's earlier prayer, "I guess we have you three and Tapu Koko to thank for earlier as well, Tapu Lele."
"Just us wanting you to show us your absolute best and having fun with it is what we're trying to do, Princess!"
"Everything you and your Pokémon did was the best gift you could ever give to us for you're now the true Sun Princess of Alola."
"And, in essence, our region's first TRUE Pokémon Champion with your friend, Ash Ketchum, at a close second. Congratulations," Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini grinned at her.
Kukui was astonished but he retrieved his hat and smiled warmly, feeling exceptionally proud of Sarah after seeing how far she had come before he went over to Tapu Koko to check up on him, "Are you alright?"
"Ah... I am, Kukui," Tapu Koko sighed, smiling humbly.
"*Oops! Can't forget about you, big brother~! He-he-he!*" giggled Tapu Lele as she rained her scales down on Tapu Koko, healing him of his wounds and bruises as well.
"*Heh, thanks, Lele,*" Tapu Koko chuckled as he floated upright again.
"*See ya later!*"
"*Gotta splash, brother!*"
"*Catch ya and everyone else on the flippity flop, Bro!*" Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini cried happily as they returned home to their respective islands while everybody continued to cheer.
"Tapu Koko," Kukui called, getting Tapu Koko's attention as he happily held out his hand to him. "Thank you, it was an honor to battle with you."
"The honor is all mine, Young Kukui," Tapu Koko smiled as the two of them shook hands before they noticed Sarah and her healed team coming towards them (with Sarah holding her new Pokémon in her arms as it cooed curiously and tilted its head at Tapu Koko).
"Prof. Kukui, that was a great battle, thank you. And, Tapu Koko, thank you for everything...…. I guess I owe a lot to you for my journey and everything that's happened to me, especially our victory against you in our final rematch," Sarah thanked the pair before she turned her attention to Tapu Koko, extending her thanks to him.
"Young Sarah, it has been an honor battling you again. But, in truth, it is I who should be thanking you for showing me that you and Blitz possess what you call the true 'Spirit of Alola'. You've also shown me your true strength of heart and the power you've obtained from within and you continued to surprise and amaze me ever since the day I gave Young Silvally to you. To that end, I can say, in no uncertain circumstances, that you've proven yourself why you're now the TRUE Alola Champion," Tapu Koko smiled proudly, getting a warm smile out of her.
Even Hala couldn't help feeling proud of Sarah as he thought, "Could it be that this rematch was Tapu Koko's Grand Trial for Sarah? No, actually, I believe this is more of a pre-graduation test of some kind for her.*
Kukui chuckled as he noticed the new Pokémon in Sarah's arms reaching out to him while it giggled, "And, we sure weren't expecting you to pop up, little guy. But, I suppose that whenever Sarah's around, it's always best to expect the unexpected."
"HEY, SARAH!" Burnet called to Sarah as she, her Pokémon, Tapu Koko, and Kukui turned to her, Mohn, Lusamine, Wicke, Faba, and her human family and their own Pokémon with them (including the rest of the Tomoe Squad, Persian, Mischief, Bones, Alakazam, Absol, Lucario, Dragonite, Clefable, and Munchlax) along with Delia, Mimey, and Prof. Oak.
"CONGRATULATIONS/CONGRATULATIONS!" they all cheered.
"One of the best bouts I've ever seen!"
"You were amazing!" Prof. Oak and Delia grinned.
"You're all really cool, Kukui!" Burnet added to her husband.
"Thank you! All of you!" Sarah grinned, looking between them, all of her friends, the rest of her family, and everyone in the stadium.
"Thank you/Thank you/Thank you!" her Pokémon with her agreed as they waved to everyone.
Kukui sighed in satisfaction as he looked around the stadium and the crowds gathered and he and Sarah bantered, "It sure was a good league, huh?"
"I'll say, you were a mad genius for bringing something like this to Alola. And, look how that turned out; you did a great thing for everybody gathered here and everybody else watching from around the world."
"Thank you, Sarah. But, I'd say you were the best, though. And, I mean all of you!"
And, with that, they, Sarah's team, and Tapu Koko smiled as they continued to celebrate the little princess' victory while her new Rainbow Z-Power Ring shimmered in the glistening sunlight.
First, they won the Alola League along with Ash. Then, Sarah and her Pokémon won the exhibition match against Prof. Kukui. And, now, she and Blitz finally proved themselves to Tapu Koko and won against him! Congratulations to you and your family, Sarah! But, the end of their journey's at hand as the journey continues!
