I'm going to preface this preface by saying: Oops.

To anyone who had read what I previously posted for this story, I'm sorry.

To anyone who was a reader of mine during the earlier years, I'm sorry.

To anyone new who clicks on this story and has no idea what I'm talking about, I'm reeeeeal sorry.

How I've been posting is not the writer I was back then. And deleting a story all together to restart it well…that's where I'm at and I hate it but I'm going to explain why I had to do it.

I posted The Three on the ten year mark of when I had first started writing on this site. Bits of the story had been in my head for ages, and grew over the year that I wasn't posting anymore. I had not intended to post fanfiction again, yet I felt I needed to write something to keep that part of me around.

In the years that have passed from when I finished my rewrite of the saga to now…I don't seem to know how to write anymore. Both in the creative sense and technical. I have a career and home life now that were not present in the college years, so keeping on any sort of posting schedule has been nonexistent. Back then I would post a chapter at a time or maybe two and that seemed fine. Now, the further I get into a story is when I realize I want to change something in the earlier parts. That's what happened with The Three, and it got to the point where I couldn't post anything further because what happened earlier wasn't quite fitting. So I've deleted everything, edited, and plan to repost with hopes that what I have so far is now on track and I can continue. Though what that posting schedule will look like, who knows! I wish I could commit to more, but I'll be happy just to write. I hope you would like to continue to read this crazy little story. NOW. For the actual preface.

This story follows three childhood friends and three pairs of intertwining lives. Some will fight them. Some will stand with them.

Few are privy to their journey as they build together and navigate their role in an ancient blood line.

It starts….with a story.
