Akira P.o.v

I and I had decided to investigate the nearby church, I had felt a bad aura emanating from the church it became more noticeable after Arsène pointed out a weird feeling from it, I slowly opened the door and it was empty although surprisingly enough it was surprisingly clean.

Arsène:" Soyez prudent Maître Kursu, je sens toujours une présence étrange (Be careful Master Kursu, I still sense a weird presence.)

I use my skills as a retired phantom thief to sneak around "I really wish I had my weapons" I thought to myself.

Arsène:" Maître Kursu, je sens cette présence étrange dans le sous-sol (Master Kursu, I sense that weird presence in the basement)

I decided to enter the basement after hearing this and, I was certainly not expecting what we were greeted with A cute petite young woman with Blonde hair had been in some machine that was shaped like a cross, I didn't like the aura of the machine gave off.

Arsène:" Maître Kursu, je pense que nous devrions rassembler des preuves et al enter le club à ce sujet (Master Kursu, I think that we should capture proof and alert the club about this)."

I had agreed with Arsène so I took out my phone and took a picture when I took the Picture *SHUTTER* before I could do anything I got tackled to the ground.

???:" I got 'em, boss."

Boss:" Well, well, well. What do we have here?

I struggle to try and free myself but it doesn't do much.

Boss:" Oh, he's struggling, I love that YOU FILTHY WORM!!" she suddenly slaps me across the face.

Boss:" So, how did you find out about our experiment?

Akira:"……………"

Boss:" Oh what's that? No answer? You're some kind of Joker, aren't you? Well since I'm so kind I'll tell you about what we're doing we're extracting a useful ability called a sacred gear from that young lady."

Akira:" Are you some kind of a devil or are you an angel?"

Boss:" Oh, so you know about the supernatural? Well then that's better for us, but I'm a fallen angel."

Akira:" Why? Why Are you doing this to her!!"

Boss:" Because it isn't fair, you humans don't deserve to use the gift of the sacred gears us fallen angels we're correcting God's mistake."

Akira:" You don't deserve that girl's power."

The boss aggressively grabs my chin and stabs my chin with her nails " We fallen angels deserve her sacred gear more than you weak, pitiful, selfish, egotistical, humans."

Akira glares at her "What's your name?"

Boss:" You want my name? But fine since you're going to die soon anyway why not? My name is Raynare.

Akira:" Raynare huh? What an ugly name I guess names reflect a person."

Raynare slaps me across the face twice "A pathetic worm of a human like you has no right to speak to ME a FALLEN ANGEL like that."

Akira:" What the hell makes you think you are worthy of her powers?! You're more egotistical than humans! You're more selfish than humans! You're more pitiful than humans! You're weaker than humans! You don't deserve even a fraction of our powers!"

Raynare is so pissed that her face has turned red it was comparable to Rias's hair, and a spear made of what looks like light forms in her hand if I had been paying attention I might have been scared of her spear but I feel anger, anger from being looked down upon and treated like a bag punching bag. However, I had felt a sudden pain in my head and chest and a voice that was both familiar but also not familiar.

Rias P.O.V

After Akira had left the club and gone home we had went to the church to save Asia.

Rias:" I wish we could tell Akira about the church mission, I wonder why he left early?"

Akeno:" Maybe because of his brother? Ren I believe was his name."

Rias:" Maybe although I admit, I'm pretty interested in seeing the power of his persona."

Akeno:" I too am interested in seeing that however, we have to wait a little bit longer."

Issei:" C'mon let's go save Asia!"

Rias:" Of course."

The club goes inside the church and sees that it's empty.

Issei:" Shouldn't there be enemies here?"

Kiba:" Maybe they're trying to set up an ambush."

Koneko looks down toward the basement.

Koneko:" I hear someone in the basement I think someone is getting attacked."

Rias:" Akeno and I will go in the basement, I want all of you to stay up here and look out for any threats I'll call for you if we need to.

Akeno P.O.V

Rias and I ran into the basement and we were greeted by Akira who was breathing heavily, groaning, and Akira managed to throw the two other Angels off of him and to Raynare's feet strumbled back right in front of the two devils the fallen angels had been stunned that a human had managed to throw them off of him.

Rias had tried to call out to him but Akira didn't respond.

Back to Akira's POV

???:" Ah, so you're reforging your contract? I'm so glad, I'll lend you my strength and become your mask once again just as long as you continue to fight for your justice, even if we have to slay a god, I am thou thou art I."

I had gone to rip the mask off my face.

I had felt a familiar pain course through my body and my once gray eyes were now a bright golden yellow.

Raynare:" Stop him! Restrain him!"

Before her Peons could touch me I successfully ripped off the mask and let out a loud scream of pain, and as blood gushed out of my head some of my blood landed on Raynare and blue flames engulfed me Raynare. The two other angel peons, Rias and Akenko had stepped back in surprise.

Akeno:" What the fuck is happening to him?!"

Rias:" I don't know, but I hope he's okay."

The rest of the club had rushed to see what was happening.

Issei:" What is happening down here?"

When the blue flames fizzled out Aira was in a pair of red gloves, a black tailcoat that goes all the way to his ankles, a waistcoat, and the collar goes all the way to his neck, he's wearing a pair of black pants, and brown-black boots the air has changed it feels like he's not holding anything back full of unbridled confidence and anger in one of his hands is a dagger made of silver with a curved sharp blade and a funky-looking handle in his other hand is a gun that's also a Glock made of silver it under thee part of the gun with the frame of the gun has teeth and a bright red line on the other side.

Behind him was a huge creature that had a halo that was floating, above his head, and the halo had been scratching the roof of the basement, there were 6 black bat-like wings protruding from the persona's back, and there were two sharp pairs of shiny golden wings around his head, around his chest was a bright red ribbon with a medal shaped like a star with a shiny red gem that matched his bright yet barely visible red eyes, and on both of his hands was a pair of sharp claws that looked like they could cut metal without any trouble in his other hand was a rifle, and on both sides of his shoulder armor piece was a skull with goat horns.

Akira:" Satanael! Black viper!"

The newly identified creature had shot his gun and a black snake head came out and bit all three of the angels at once damaging them heavily.

Rias:" A-Akira? Are you okay?"

Akira:" I'm fine Rias, I can handle these angels by myself. Satanael Riot gun" Satanael had shot his gun again a rain of bullets had rained on the fallen angels until BOOM the ceiling had shattered above the angels and the angels fell to the floor.

Raynare:" I can't believe it ME a fallen angel bested by a mere human."

The two other angels had managed to barely escape I had pointed my gun at Raynare.

Akira:" Looks like your companions had chosen to feed you to the wolves." Or as Akechi would say 'This one just got betrayed by its teammate! Ha, imagine how that feels!' Akira had thought to himself

Raynare:" Are you going to kill me?"

Akira:" What's your call Rias?"

Rias forms a red ball in her hand, and that makes me freeze momentarily remembering when Yaldabouth tried to kill me and my friends.

Rias:" Yeah, we have to."

Akira:"……Alright then, as long as I won't be responsible for her death."

I step away and close my eyes. When I open them nothing but dust is left, I walk to the stairs and collapse Rias and Koneko pick me up.

Rias:" Are you okay Akira?" I can hear the concern in her voice despite feeling like I'm going to Fall asleep at any moment.

Akira:" I'm fine Rias, I'm just exhausted, I never thought awakening would be so exhausted-ZZZ."

Rias:" Koneko-chan can you help me walk him home?" Rias picks up Akira but struggles "Damn, I never thought he'd be so heavy."

Koneko:" Sure I'll help."

Akira's clothes disappear in blue flames and he's back in his school clothes.

Rias:" I'm going to have to ask about that later."

Issei:" Can't you just teleport to his house?"

Rias:" I can, I just don't want to teleport there besides he's got a brother Let's go Koneko-chan."

A few days later.

The next few days had been as normal as always and on my way home I got a text from Rias saying. ' Asia is awake and is now joining my peerage.'

Akira:' Rias. Who's Asia?'

Rias:' Asia is the blonde girl you saved, I gave her a rundown of what happened. But you'll have to explain the subject of personas and all that to her.'

Akira:' Gee thanks Rias.'

Rias:' You're welcome, I'm happy to help, and besides you're the expert.'

Akira:" Ugh. She definitely knew I was being sarcastic."

Akira and Ren had been walking to school when Koneko had spotted us at the entrance.

Koneko:" Oh, Kursu-Senpai."

Akira:" Koneko-chan? What's up?"

Koneko:" I'm sure you know this already but Rias-Senapi wants to speak with you about yesterday."

I just sighed "I figured she would."

Ren:" What did you do this time Aki?"

Akira:" It was nothing, Ren Ren honest."

Ren:" I don't believe you, You've always been a troublemaker. Maybe she's just excited to see you again. Hey, why were you *Pointing at Koneko* and Rias carrying an unconscious Akira to his room?"

Koneko:" He had fallen asleep after getting into a fight, and the doctor had said that he was simply exhausted."

Ren:" Well. Aki's always been a heavy sleeper, I'll admit I was surprised that you could even carry him."

Akira:" Wha-?! I'm not that heavy Ren Ren."

Ren:" You so are Aki, I can't even lift you up."

Akira:" That's just cause you're just physically weak."

Ren:" I'm not physically weak."

Akira:" You so are little bro."

After School

Arsène:" Maître Kursu, pouvons-nous vraiment faire confiance à ce diable aux cheveux roux? (Master Kursu can we really trust that red-haired devil?)

Akira:" It'll be fine Arsène. She's a very trustworthy teammate & person even if she is a devil."

Arsène:" Si vous le dites, Maître Kursu (If you say so, Master Kursu).

The Bell Rings and I go to the roof again I start eating and Issei comes onto the roof.

Issei:" Hey Akira-senpai."

Akira:" Oh Issei, I trust that you didn't finish peaking on the kendo club again?"

Issei:" No… W-well maybe not!"

Akira glares at him " Well, I don't want to be wrapped up in the consequences of your perverted actions."

Issei:" That shouldn't be an issue, I had managed to escape them without them noticing me…I think."

I let out a long & loud sigh "Fine as long as I'm not punished alongside you. But don't expect me to protect you if they come up here."

Issei:" That's fine with me. Um, Senpai can I ask you something?"

Akira:" Sure, what are you curious about?"

Issei:" Why did you turn down Rias's offer to join her peerage?"

Akira:" There are quite a few reasons why I rejected Rias's offer."

Issei:" I'd like you to tell me all of the reasons."

Akira:" Alright well. I'll be giving away my Humanity, and I don't want to exchange my humanity to become a devil or at all really, and I've had enough with the supernatural."

Issei:" I suppose that story in the castle would be something that draws people away from the supernatural."

Akira:" Oh trust me, I've had more than that when it comes to the supernatural if I have the time I might tell you guys about it. So what about you, why did you join Rias's peerage?"

Issei:" I want to repay her, for saving my life."

Akira:" She saved your life?"

Issei:" Yeah. Raynare had disguised herself as a high school student, and I went on a date with her at the end of the date she had almost killed me with a spear of light, I just want to help repay her anyway I can."

"Despite him being a massive pervert he doesn't seem to be too bad of a person." Akira thinks to himself.

Student Council room Sonia's POV

I had been sitting at my desk when I heard a knock on the door "Come in"

Rias comes inside and sits in front of me.

Rias:" Sonia, I need your help on something."

Sonia: What do you need help with Rias?"

Rias:" It's about Akira."

Sonia:" Is he bothering you?"

Rias:" Oh no, no, no nothing like that. He's been a great friend it's just that, I don't know what to do with him."

Sonia:" What do you mean you don't know what to do with him?"

Rias:" Well, I trust you with what I'm going to tell you, okay, I want the only person to know about this is you, my peerage already knows this." She tells her about what happened at the church and what Akira said about persona.

Sonia:" I see that's quite interesting, and that'd certainly explain why I had felt that his powers were different from the other powers we've seen. Is there anything else about Akira?"

Rias:"…Yeah um, I think Akira might be part umbran."

Sonia looks flabbergasted a rare look that's for sure.

Sonia:" Are you for real Rias? You are aware of how serious an accusation this is aren't you?"

Rias:"…Yes I do know that. I wanted to try and recruit him into my peerage to help with THAT."

Sonia:" And? Did he turn you down?"

Rias:" Yeah he did. but he promised me that he'd help when he can."

Sonia:" Yeah and what's the problem?"

Rias:" Well the thing is I'm scared of how both Akira and the underworld as a whole will react."

Sonia:" Why's that?"

Rias:" Because, he always puts other people ahead of himself to a worrying degree, I fear what will happen to Akira if he were to confront Riser. And well if He's half umbran. Can you imagine how many devils would try and kill him?"

Sonia:" That's a fair point, if it's found out that he has even 1% of umbra blood inside him devils, angels, fallen Angels, and Magicians will either try to kill him or make him join their groups."

Rias:" I don't want anything like that to happen to Akira."

Sonia:" Do you know if Akira has any superhuman abilities? If so there is no denying it Akira is half umbran."

Rias:" Hmmm let's see there was this time 8 years ago when Akira was chasing me with a Sakura pedal, and he wanted me to eat it his speed was very reminiscent of Kiba's now that I think about it."

Sonia:" That's certainly an…interesting memory. Any other examples?"

Rias:" Oh yes one time when he was 6 years old, he got so angry he slammed his hand on the teacher's desk, and it broke like Koneko-chans stability actually."

Sonia:" Woah, well that could be superhuman strength. Alright, I will keep that a secret from everyone else."

Rias:" Thanks Sonia, I knew I could trust you with this."

Sonia:" It's no problem Rias, lunch is about to end."

Back at the roof

Issei and I had continued to make some small talk when we heard a bunch of footsteps Issei had hidden as best he could.

Kendo club girls:" Oh, Kursu-Senpai have you ever seen Issei?"

Akira:" Yeah, he's over there."

Issei:" Senpai you betrayed me?!"

Akira:" I told you, you shouldn't expect me to protect you earlier."

I walk back to class as the club beats him and when he's screaming in pain.*

After School in the Orc building.

Akira:" Let's cut to the chase. You want more clarification right."

Rias:" That's right."

Akira:" Sure, I'll clarify whatever you want."

Asia:" Um? Are you Kursu-Senpai?"

Akira:" Yeah, I am but, you can call me Akira."

Asia:" OK Akira-Senpai, I'm Asia Argento it's nice to meet you, Um…I'd like to thank you for saving me."

Akira:" There's no need to thank me, I just did what any good person would do. Now allow me to explain what I need to tell you."

One explanation later

Rias looks around

Rias:" Where is Issei?"

Akira:" Oh, Issei had gone to the nurse's office, although the kendo club girls were much more aggressive than I thought."

Rias:" Let's get started My first question is. What is the deal with that costume?"

Akira:" That costume is the manifestation of the rebellion I hold inside me."

Asia:" I don't quite get it."

Akira:" I guess an easier way of putting it would be. That costume is the Image of rebellion that I hold. Does that make more sense?"

Akeno:" Yeah, It does. So what was that thing you summoned? Was it your persona?"

Akira:" That's right, that was one of my personas Satanael.

Rias:" Satanael? That name sounds familiar. But where did I hear it from?"

Kiba:" One of? How many personas can you summon?"

Akira:" An infinite amount."

Everyone was surprised at his answer.

Issei:" Let me guess this straight. You can summon an infinite amount of personas. As in there is there's no limit to the number of personas you can use?"

Akira:" That's right. Although I can not summon more than one persona at the same time."

Asia:" Is there a spectrum of what you can summon?"

Akira:" That's right, and it's not just a spectrum of strength although I've got that too."

Rias:" What are the spectrums of?"

Akira:" Well there's power for one and the other is. Well, how do I say it? It'd probably be best to show you lot. is that okay Rias?"

Rias:" Hell yea-!! Erm I mean uh It's fine by Me."

Akira:" Oh wow, you're certainly excited Rias, I hope I don't disappoint you."

Rias Pov

Rias's mind:" Ugh, he's got that confidant smirk on his face again. When did he become so different? I could barely recognize him." I think to myself

Akira stepped up in front of everyone Rias had noticed that he had been shaking slightly. Was he scared? He's always never liked a crowd?

Akira:" Persona!" His clothes turn back into his outfit from the church but the creature is different this time it has a huge top hat, His face looks like a long-horned mask, and his suit looks like it came from the 18th century it has its collar popped like Akira's other outfit, aand it also has a white ruffle tie, it also has a black-tailed corset that runs across most of its body, it has two black hairy bird-like feathery wings, the creature had a red cloth covering its legs, and speaking of legs the Persona has two shard blades attached to its legs, and two razor sharp claws.

Rias:" Woah, that's completely different from a few days ago!" I can sense the demonic power emanating from the Persona I had felt my face flush and my body temperature had risen. Rias had thought to herself.

Akira:" I've got a lot more. Would you like to see them?" after seeing everyone nod he summons a familiar feeling of an angelic presence a suit of armor his armor helmet was open and, it had two red wings he was holding a sword he had a flag on his hat and one on his belt, I could tell that Akira was holding back.

Rias:" Can you put that thing away?" the angel had disappeared and his clothes went back to normal.

Akeno:" So you can summon Angels and Devils? Is there anything else you could summon?"

Akira:" Yeah but, I have a question I need to ask you first, well it's really more of a clarification."

Rias:" Alright, what is your question?"

Akira:" What exactly is a fallen angel?"

Rias:" In short a fallen angel is an angel that has fallen from grace mainly due to impure thoughts."

Akira:" Ah, well I appreciate your clarification, I had a feeling that I had the general idea of what a fallen angel was."

Akira summons the entity from the church basement.

Akira:" Then I can summon a fallen angel."

Asia looks a bit nervous and mumbles to try and get my attention.

Akira:" Yes Asia-chan?"

Asia:" Um, why are you showing us this?"

Akira:" Because I'm a teammate or rather I suppose a collaborator to the club is a more apt description."

Asia:" You mean you didn't accept Rias's offer to join her peerage?"

Akira:" That's right, I refused her offer. Why do you ask?"

Asia:" I'd just like to know why. If you don't mind me asking of course."

Akira:" Sure I already told Issei. So why not?"

One explanation later

Rias:" I see. So that was the reason why you turned me down."

Akira:" That's right, I love my life as a human."

Rias:" But I'm confused you said that you don't want to get involved with the supernatural anymore, and yet you are getting involved with the supernatural."

Akira:" I don't have a choice in the matter the supernatural will come to me so I figured that I should just deal with it."

Akira:" You should tell me next time we have a mission. ok, rias?

Rias:" I will. Um...Asia, do you have a place where you're staying?" Asia shakes her head no

Akira walks out and says that he's calling his brother. A few minutes later Akira walks in

Akira:" If you want you could stay with me, and my brother for the time being, we've got a spare room you could use, my parents won't be home until a little over next week."

Asia:" Thank you Akira-senpai! But What about your parents? Won't they be angry?

Akira:" I'll deal with that later, I'll probably just say that you had nowhere to go or something."

Asia:" I hope I won't be any trouble during my stay."

Akira:" Don't worry about it, Asia-chan."
