Annabeth took a walk down by the lake. It was one of her and Percy's favorite places at came along with down by the beach. She smiled as she remembered their friends tossing them into the lake together and sharing that magical underwater kiss. She took off her shoes and socks and put her bare feet into the water as she sat on the pier. It was the closest she could get to Percy. She was just glad the weather was controlled in Camp or she would have been freezing her feet off. As it was, it was a bit too cold for her. She looked over the water and sighed softly. She started to plan how she was going to see Percy.

Luke watched Annabeth dipping her feet into the water which was unusual anyway forgetting the time of year. She had been acting weird for the last two days since she had woken up and screamed in rage. As the daughter of a war goddess, she could be very scary when angry. She had been distant with him. He would have had to be blind not to see the girl's crush on him, however, when he had looked in her eyes at breakfast that first day, he could tell that crush was gone. He had watched her training endlessly, pushing her body longer and harder than she ever had before. He wondered what she was training for.
'Maybe' a small voice said in his mind. 'Maybe she had been having the same dreams as me. Maybe she is preparing to serve the same master.'
If that was the case though, Kronos had refused to tell her that he, Luke, was also in his service. Annabeth spoke to him, though minimally. She tried to act like everything was the same, but he could feel the barrier between them.
He crept towards the lake, using his skills at stealth to approach. He heard her mutter.
"Hurry to me, Seaweed Brain. I'm going crazy here without you."
Luke frowned. Seaweed Brain. Who was that? It could not possibly be one of the twins of Poseidon. They were being watched by Grover, Chiron, and if rumors were to be believed, a powerful monster. Still, this bore checking into. Luke snuck away to make an Iris call to Chiron at Yancy.

Percy had looked into the memories of the body had had inhabited, after Annabeth had told him that was possible. He effortlessly slipped into his proper role as Penny's twin. He had examined his feelings towards Penny and found he loved her as much as he loved Estelle back in his old timeline. They both had the same issues and though Penny was better at controlling it, she had his temper and sass. Now he understood Apollo and Artemis a little better though, as they bickered every chance they got.
Two days had passed since he wove the Mist to make Grover and Penny forget his conversation with Annabeth. Mrs. Dodds was giving him looks and he knew she knew that he was a demigod, but she did not act for some reason. Percy was worried he was going to need to step in and make the first move.
He started to take Grover and Penny on his runs around the school, but he still did his sword training in secret. He hoped Annabeth would get Chiron to get the exercise equipment as well. He needed an excuse for the muscle he was already starting to put on after all. Demigod bodies adapted fast and even a little work could provide great gain for the heroes.
His powers however were not coming back as fast. He could still breathe water and control it, though not to the degree he could back in his old body. A Hurricane was completely beyond him for the moment. He would have to work on it as well. He laughed as he recreated a scene from Avatar the Last Airbender, making the water pull and push as he practiced controlling it. He couldn't wait for Penny to learn the truth though so she could learn how to use their abilities too.
Percy finished up his training for the day and headed back towards the school for breakfast. It was his first day of classes since he came back to his body. He would not have such a hard time as he could take notes in Greek and honestly sixth-grade work would not be beyond him this time. Also, Chiron would be in for a surprise when Percy aced his test. He reached the table and ruffled Grover's hair as he plopped down between him and Penny.
"Sup, girl me." He punched her shoulder gently.
"Not much, boy me." She punched him back, a little harder than usual. "Ready for Dodds math quiz from hell today?"
He smiled at her and started to butter a slice of bread. "Not really. You?"
She lay her head on the table. "Have Mom scatter my remains in the Ocean after Dodds kills me with equations."
Percy chuckled, though knowing she was more likely to die by sharp claws, but he would not allow that. He had gotten the drop on Dodds before when he was much weaker. She would never know what hit her this time.
"You'll be fine. There is more to life than good grades." Grover said as he eyed his fork. Percy rolled his eyes. How had Grover never given away his goatish nature last time he would never understand. Percy could swear she heard Annabeth have a heart attack at Grover's words.
"Better not let Brunner hear you say that." He said mildly as he tucked into the merged breakfast.
Percy might have accessed his memories about Penny and their relationship, but he was avoiding their home life for now. He dreaded seeing the way Gabe treated his twin. He had a feeling Gabe would not survive him learning that particular truth. He hoped his mom and Paul would get together sooner in this timeline, but he would not rush things himself.

Annabeth had just defeated Clarisse in the arena and was looking for her next opponent. Luke considered stepping in and dueling her, but she was terrifying lately. Luke contacted Chiron after lunch when he had a break between lessons at Yancy.
Their mentor listened and nodded. "I believe you are right. A trip from camp might be what Annabeth needs. I'll fabricate some reason for her to come to Yancy to bring me some item or other. She can have Argus bring her in and take her back when she has had a breather."
Luke nodded. "Thank you, Chiron. Will we see you soon?"
The centaur looked grave. "It looks like I'll be staying until the end of the Semester. Percy and Penny are more powerful than we imagined, Percy in particular. Never have I seen a Demigod's potential rise so quickly. It was almost overnight."
Luke nodded. "Well, good luck, Chiron. I'll hold down the fort here while Annabeth gets some fresh air."
"Thank you, Luke. Good luck with your training."
Luke ended the Iris message. He did regret he would be betraying Chiron, but his mission was more important. He went to see Annabeth.

Annabeth was ecstatic when she learned she could go to Yancy and as much as she wanted to tell Percy, she knew that he would be in classes. She decided to surprise him instead. She put on her best camp sweatshirt and jeans and checked her equipment. Ambrosia, nectar, mortal and immortal money. Her hat and dagger. She glared at the dagger. She knew she would eventually lose this in Rome, but she still disliked the cursed blade. She would keep it safe though, so it could fulfill the prophecy.
Once she was ready, she headed to find Argus and begin the journey to Yancy. She swung her legs during the drive to the Academy, her heart beating faster with every mile they drove. Soon, she would hold her Seaweed Brain in her arms again.
They arrived without issues, and she left Argus in the parking lot. She donned her invisibility cap and walked through the halls unchallenged. She wondered if Grover would scent her and wondered what she was doing there. She suddenly saw her target, emerging from the classroom. Beside him was a pretty girl with black hair and sea-green eyes, Percy's twin Penny. Annabeth was unsure what to make of this unknown factor, only that she was important to her partner. Annabeth would protect her new sister figure just as fiercely as she had Estelle in their previous world.
She crept up behind Percy as the twins and Grover stopped in a courtyard and tapped his shoulder. To his credit, he did not jump out of his skin anymore when she did this. She held in her giggle as his eyes looked around the area.
"Hey, Penny, Grover, I am feeling a bit off after that quiz. I'm going to get some air before our next class."
The girl gave him a sympathetic look. "I understand, Percy. See you in class. Don't be late, or Brunner will be upset."
He waved and the other two took off. Grover sniffed the air and looked around in suspicion, only to have Penny push him towards the classroom. Once they were gone, Annabeth took off her cap and appeared.
"Hey, my Fishy."
Percy smiled and took her into his arms. "Hey, my Owl." He leaned in and pressed a kiss to her cheek before he hooted gently into her ear. She giggled, an old joke for them since that day at camp she had embarrassed herself in front of everyone.
"Gods, I've missed you." Annabeth kissed his cheek and then on the lips. She was so glad that skill at kissing did not require muscle memory, as Percy kissed her senseless right there on the bench.
"I've missed you too, Wise Girl. My bed feels so cold and empty without my space heater."
She punched him on the arm. "Well, hopefully, we can find a way to fix that sooner rather than later this go round. Shame we cannot get away with a doctor's note the way Will and Nico did."
Percy nodded. "Which reminds me, is Will already at camp?"
She nodded. "Thinking of pushing those two together sooner this time?"
Percy nodded. "We need to save them from the Casino as soon as we can. Can't leave them to the mercy of Thorn again. Too messy. Also, I want to save Leo early, but he needs to meet Piper too. I guess we could try and get her early as well."
Annabeth nodded. "There is another issue we should discuss. My cousin, Magnus. I really would prefer he not live on the streets for years before dying and only then getting training. The Norse are kind of cruel to their children like that."
Percy scratched his head. "I bet we could get Jack and him to safety but would Camp accept a Demigod of another Patheon?"
She sighed. "I guess I could ask Chiron. I am going to see him today. I could explain my training as a way of dealing with learning about Magnus. He will accept that. I don't see why he couldn't enter the camp."
He kissed her cheek again. "Let me know if you want me to come help. After all, your family is my family as far as I am concerned."
She smiled back. "And yours is mine. Even if my father and stepmom don't accept me in this universe, I know I have you and that's all I need. If I came here alone and you didn't know me, I would feel so alone."
He hugged her tightly. "You'll never be alone again, Annabeth. You don't need to run away again. Cause we are stronger together."
She snuggled into his warm arms. They certainly were.

Penny sat in Brunner's class as Percy came in. He looked in good spirits as he sat down.
"You alright, boy me?" She asked and he shot her a wink.
"Good as gold, girl me." He responded. She could not recall him ever being so red-cheeked.
Mr. Brunner rolled into the classroom, followed by a pretty blonde girl that Penny had never seen before.
"Class, we have a guest today. A friend of mine asked she sit in on my class today as she is working on a project that we are covering today. This is Miss Annabeth Chase. Hmm, why don't we sit you over by the twins: Percy and Penny."
The girl nodded and came over to them. Both twins had an empty seat near them but Penny could not help but notice Annabeth didn't even hesitate as she took the seat directly next to Percy.
"Hi, I'm Annabeth." She holds out her hand to Penny's brother who took it. She saw Percy blushing as they shook hands. Penny grinned, more fodder to tease her twin over.
"Hello, Annabeth, I'm Percy."
The blonde girl released his hand and leaned over to address Penny. "Hello, you must be Penny."
"Nice to meet you, Annabeth. I'm the superior sibling."
Percy snorted. "You wish, fish breath."
Penny blinked and Percy turned pale at the name he had just given her. She had no idea where that title had come from. She breathed into her hand and smelled it. Now that he mentioned it, her breath did smell like the ocean a little.
"How long have I smelled like this?" She asked.
"Di Immortales," Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Well, given you just so causally insulted your twin, I think I should call you Seaweed Brain. Cause you got kelp up there." Annabeth tapped the side of Percy's head.
Penny forgot her issue and giggled at the banter. "I like you Annabeth. I'll need to remember that, Seaweed Brain."
Percy pouted and gave Annabeth a glance that utterly confused Penny. She had no base of knowledge to understand what just passed between them but Annabeth giggled at the sight.
"I'm glad you three have made such fast friends." Mr. Brunner smiled at them. "Where is Mr. Underwood? I sent him on an errand but he should have been back by now."
There was a shout from the hall. Penny started to get up but Percy was already over his desk and on his way out the door.
"Mr. Jackson, wait," Brunner called.
Penny went to follow, only to be stopped by Annabeth's hand.
"Hold up, now."
Penny frowned. "My brother just ran towards a scream. I need to make sure he doesn't get hurt."
Annabeth smiled. "Loyalty is a fine thing, and I approve. But getting hurt yourself will just make Percy worry."
She knew Annabeth was right but she still ducked past her and ran towards the hall. She heard Annabeth mutter as she left the room.
"Great, now we have two Seaweed Brains."

A/N: I hope you enjoyed this chapter and fluff. Next time will be the battle with Dodds. Earlier than expected but Grover needs rescuing. See you next month!
