Natsu POV

I woke up when I smelled a strawberry and vanilla scent, and I knew who it was from. When I sat down, I saw Luce's bag on the chair and quickly stood up to follow the scent to where she was. I followed her scent, and it looked like she was going to the guild, so I sped away.

When I finally arrived at the guild, I kicked the door, which made a scene and gave attention to the members who were now looking in my direction. My eye pierced the woman with blonde hair who was sitting on a stool and also looking in my direction. She is talking to Mira and Levy, and I think I interrupted their conversation with the scene that I made.

"LUUUUUUUCE!" I shouted when I saw her and walked towards her and hugged her tightly. I miss this blonde girl, my best friend.

"N-natsu!" Lucy stuttered. I let go and looked at her. She was blushing. Is she sick? Her cheeks are now more red than you can compare to Erza's scarlet hair. On the other hand, there is Mira with her mouth covered, but I can definitely see her smile, and also Levy, who is smiling and giggling at us. Are they okay?

Lucy POV

"Where did you go? You didn't come home yesterday. I thought you had a stomach ache; that's why you ran yesterday when I saw you in the park. Did something happen? Are you okay? " worried Natsu said as he examined my arms. Oh, how I miss this side of Natsu, who is really very protective. That's why I love him. Do I really love him? But I know that's crossing the line; we're just best friends, and that's something I don't want to lose. I don't want to break the bond that we built and shared together.

"Luce? Are you really, okay?" I returned to my trance when Natsu suddenly spoke again. "Yes, I'm fine. I came from Mom's grave yesterday. I visited her. I forgot to tell you; I'm in a hurry."

"You should have told me," Natsu said with concern in his eyes while holding my shoulders. 'Stop; we're causing a scene here. They're looking at us right now, Natsu. I want to say it, but there's no word coming out of my mouth. When I turned to Mira, she suddenly turned in another direction, as if she were just wiping the counter, but I knew she was looking at Natsu and me a while ago. She ships NaLu very much, which is the combination of my name and Natsu. I know my face is now like scarlet hair; I don't know how to react; I feel weak when Natsu is just being like this. I fall more for you, Natsu; stop it. I might lose control of my feelings for you.

"I-i didn't t-tell y-you b-beca—" I was cut off because I heard a familiar voice and looked to see where the voice came from.

"Theeeeeeey likeeeeeeee eachhhhhhh otheeerrr" said Happy, who is now dancing while holding his fish. Mira-chan and Levy-chan were smiling by my side while laughing, as were the other guild members, especially Cana, who was laughing so hard. I blushed even more at what was happening, while Natsu was confused about what was happening.

"Happy," I said to Happy, then I turned around, and Natsu stood up and scratched his head while walking towards Happy, who was still dancing. After a few minutes, they also stopped and went back to what they were doing. I bid goodbye to Mira-chan and Levy-chan. I also told Natsu and Happy that I would go home first and not disturb me because I wanted to soak in the bathtub so I could freshen up and think. I am now confused about whether my feelings for him are really right. When I left the guild, I unexpectedly bumped into someone.

"Sorry, sorry." I bowed down while apologizing to whoever I bumped into. "Hey, Lucy. It's just me; don't be sorry." I heard a familiar voice and looked up. "Sting, it's you. Sorry, I'm just thinking about something," I said to him, then suddenly the door opened and the man with the color of salmon hair came out.

"You're going to follow me, aren't you?" I said to Natsu and Happy, and Natsu shook his head. "I just smelled something unfamiliar scent. So, I went out to see who it was," while looking directly at Sting. "Oh, by the way. Natsu, he is Sting. I went home with him earlier, and then he also has exceed who is Lector. Sting, this is Natsu. My b-best friend. Happy is his exceed" I introduced them while pointing at each other, but I didn't see Lector; maybe he was with Rogue.

"Wait? You go home together?" Natsu asked me strangely and was giving a fierce stare at Sting. I was going to speak, but "Let me first formally introduce myself. I'm Sting from the Sabertooth Guild, and yes, I went home with her earlier. But don't worry, I didn't do anything to her," Sting said while raising his two hands. Natsu calmed down and just nodded at him.

"What are you doing here outside our guild?" Happy now, he asked while both hands were now in his waist. Sting chuckles at him because of how Happy looks now. Happy is so adorable. "I'm actually waiting for Lucy. She knows around here in Magnolia; I just want to have a tour with her. Is that okay with you, Lucy?" I looked at Sting. "Now? It's okay, I don't have—" Natsu cut me off.

"She can't leave just by herself; she needs to be with us. I don't trust you," Natsu said with his arms crossed. He gave Sting a fierce stare, but he still did a little pout. I laughed at him like he was a child. I also noticed Sting chuckle a little. "It's okay, you can come with us."

"Where are we going? Also, where's Rouge and the exceeds? " I asked Sting, "They are in the apartment. Lector is also resting with them. They were all tired because they went around earlier." I just nodded at what he said while they were Natsu, who were confused about whose name I mentioned.

"Wherever we go, it's up to you. You're my tour guide for now," added Sting. We started walking wherever we ended up, and then I told him what places or what products they sold. We also went inside some stores, and my chaperones, Natsu and Happy, were just behind us all day.

When it was late at night, we decided to go home. "Sting, come to my house later. Bring the exceeds and also Rogue. I will be going to cook for you guys to thank you for yesterday," I said while Natsu just stared at me.

"Alright, I'll tell them. So, I'm gonna go first. Thank you again. See you later," he said with a smile, and then went inside their room. "Yes, you both were also invited. Don't worry. I won't forget to invite both of you, even though I don't need to invite you, guys. You both are always at my home," I said to a frowning salmon-hair man and a blue cat who were waiting for me to invite them too.

"Let's go home; I'll cook delicious food. Don't sulk," I said, then I picked up Happy and hugged Natsu. I really miss these two. I wish we could always be like this. This is what I don't want to break just because of whatever feelings I have for Natsu right now. When we went upstairs, I left them in the dining area and started cooking. I just prepared a simple dish, enough for us.

After I finish cooking, I put the food on the table. Wait, where are Natsu and Happy? When I turned around, I saw Natsu sleeping on my bed as well as Happy. I approached her and watched them both. These two are really cute. I was about to wake them up when Natsu's eyes suddenly opened. I didn't notice that I was so close to his face as to feel his breath.

"Luce," Natsu said while looking at me. I immediately moved away, but Natsu grabbed and pulled my wrist, so I got closer to him again.
