Lucy was in the void again, holding a jar with the blonde-haired fairy trapped inside. "If your dreams don't come true, settle for nightmares."
...It Might Just Come True
Lana
Lana was happily running around on all fours in the backyard with Charles. Suddenly, the family dog started sniffing the air and went into the bushes near the house.
"Hmm? What is it, boy? Do you need to poop again?" Lana asked.
Charles barked and growled a bit, and dragged Thromnambular out of the bushes with his teeth.
"Ooh! You found another one of those!" Lana exclaimed.
Thromnambular looked up at Lana, "Greetings child, if you free me from this beast, I shall grant you a wish!"
Lana grabbed Thromnambular, and Charles growled and pulled back. Lana growled back in turn and barked at Charles. Charles released the skull, and whimpered a bit. Lana patted his head with one hand and held Thromnambular with the other. Charles cheered up and Lana addressed the skull, "So, any wish?"
"Anything your heart desires!" Thromnambular answred.
Lana smiled wide, "Ooh ohh! Talk to animals! I wish I could talk to animals!"
The skull furrowed his brow, "You can already do that, I heard you talking to your dog moments ago."
Lana shook her head, "No, no, I mean like they can understand me and I can understand them! Just like in cartoons!"
The "5" on Thromnambular's dome changed into a "4","Eh, okay that's specific enough to work with."
Lana looked over at Charles, "Did it work, Charles?"
"Did what work, Lana?" Charles asked.
Lana smiled, "Hey, I can understand your words now!"
"Is that what was supposed to work? Also, are you going to bury that shiny thing? I really want to bury that shiny thing."
"Uh...maybe?" Lana looked back at Thromnambular, but the skull seemed to have disappeared, "Huh, it's gone."
"Dang it! I wanted to bury it! Oh well, maybe I'll just bury that skeleton man again!" Charles ran off.
"Hey Charles, wait for me!" Lana called as she chased after him, then she noticed a flock of geese flying ahead."
"Falling back a bit here, Boss." said one of the geese.
"Fall back a bit there, Luke." said the boss goose.
"Honking off, Boss." said another of the geese.
"Honk off, Nine." said the boss goose.
Nine the goose honked and the other geese honked along with him.
"Pooping on the ground here, Boss." said Luke.
"Poop on the ground there, Luke."
Lana got out of the way as a bomb was dropped. "Whoa, I didn't know geese were so organized!" Lana then saw two squirrels in a tree, one red and one black. She giggled as she went up to see what they will say.
"We won't be seeing Luan Loud for a while now." Said the red squirrel.
That stopped Lana in her tracks, "Huh?"
The black squirrel nodded, "Good, very good. I'm surprised she managed to rule the world for five minutes."
"We suspect she had help from an otherworldly source, we need to find and secure it for ourselves. What are you looking at?"
"There's a kid looking at us."
Lana then realized the black squirrel was looking at her, the red squirrel looked at her too, then back to the black squirrel, "So what? Kids look at us all the time. They're cute like that."
"She's looking at us as if she can understand us."
The red squirrel looked back at Lana, "Wait...that's Lana Loud. Sister of Luan. She gives us treats sometimes."
"Seize her."
"Yes ma'am!" the red squirrel jumped off the tree and headed for Lana.
Lana turned around and ran off, then noticed a horde of squirrels had entered the backyard.
"You aren't in trouble, Lana!" called the red squirrel, "We just want to talk!"
Lana turned for the house's backdoor and ran to it. She opted to go in through the doggy door, and saw Charles trying to pull Grim towards the door with Lincoln pulling him back.
"Unhand me, Charles!" Grim told the dog.
"Sit Charles! Bad boy! I need Grim in one piece!" Lincoln ordered.
Charles stopped and whimpered, "I'm not a bad boy, I just wanna bury the skeleton man..."
Lana quickly put the trash can in front of the doggy door and pushed herself against it to keep the squirrels out.
"Lana! Lana! LAANAAA! WE JUST WANT TO TALK!" yelled the red squirrel.
Lincoln finally noticed Lana acting in a panic by the door, "Uh Lana, what are you doing?"
Lana answered between breaths, "The squirrels, Lincoln! The squirrels!"
"Squirrels?" Lincoln went quiet a moment, and opened his hand towards the reaper, "Grim, give me the annihilator."
Grim opened a portal and took out a huge water gun in the shape of a chaingun "You really need to work on your issues with squirrels, mon."
Lincoln opened up the water chaingun's tank and filled it with an unholy combination of liquids that worked as squirrel repellent. Lincoln sealed the tank and carried the water chaingun to one of the kitchen windows, opened it, and stuck the barrel outside. He started to fire on the horde of squirrels.
"SHE TOLD HER BROTHER! RUN!" Yelled the red squirrel as Lincoln started laughing mad, pelting the squirrels with his squirrel-be-gone.
Lola
Lola walked downstairs into the living room to find Thromnambular sitting on an endtable. The second she noticed the ruby eyes in the skull, she ran over, "Ooh! I could certainly use these more than some creepy skull!" She said as she grabbed one.
"OUCH! UNHAND ME, THIEF!" Thromnambular yelled.
Lola gasped and backed away, "Oh no, are you another one of Lucy's creepy friends?"
Thromnambular composed himself, "Friend or foe matters not, for I grant wishes to all who ask."
Lola lit up hearing that, "Wishes? Did I say creepy? I meant dashing!"
The skull chuckled, "No need to butter me up, state your wish and I shall grant it!"
Lola grinned, "Heh! I'll be cliché and wish for fame and fortune!"
Thromnambular's "4" turnes into a "3" and his eyes lit up, "So you want fame and fortune, eh? A greedy little girl like you shall GET fame and fortune!"
Suddenly, the living room filled up with gold coins and banknotes, a few precious gemstones here and there as well. Lola squealed in delight as she started to swim in it.
Then there was banging at the door.
"FBI! OPEN UP!"
Before Lola could respond, the front door bust open and a taskforce of FBI agents in riot gear broke in. Another force dropped in from the ceiling with wires and they all surrounded Lola.
"What's going on? Who do you people think you are?"
"DID YOU THINK YOU COULD KEEP ALL THIS UNTAXED REVENUE?" asked the screaming FBI agent.
"Wait, what?" Lola asked.
"CUFF HER!"
Just outside the Loud House, Katherine Mulligan was there yet again looking a bit annoyed, "This is what, the third time today? Looks like another of the Loud children is in deep water, this time for...tax evasion? What, on the seven year old? What is wrong with this family? Where are their parents? What's with all these squirrels? And shouldn't the FBI do something useful for taxpayers?"
An FBI agent then walked up to the camera, "TURN THAT THING OFF!"
Lisa
When the coast was clear, Lisa poked her head out of her room to assess the situation. She rubbed her chin as she looked at all the damage, "It seems the FBI raid wasn't for me this time. Good, but what were they doing here?"
"A byproduct of a selfish wish, truth be told." Answred Thromnambular who was floating right by her.
Lisa examined the skull, "I see. Is it fair to assume you granted this wish given you know about it and are obviously a supernatural skull not native of this mostly mundane Earth?"
Thromnambular nodded, "My, you are a smart one! And yes, 'tis fair. Would you like a wish yourself?"
Lisa grabbed the skull, "Well, my one true wish is for all the knowledge of the universe."
Thromnambular's "3" became a "2", "Okay, prepare to learn all the things man was not meant to know!"
Lisa smirked, "Good thing I'm a- wait, no, that phrase is directed at all of mankind." Lisa then set Thromnambular down, "Mankind is but a miniscule meaningless speck in the vastness of the universe. All we do will be for vanity and chasing the wind." Lisa curled up in a fetal position on the floor, "It...it is mad and foolish to believe that our lives contribute to-"
Lily
Lily approached Lisa during her existential crisis, "Sa-sa? You 'kay?" She asked.
"Life is but a walking shadow..." Lisa muttered as she rocked back and forth.
"Seems the knowledge of the universe was too much for her." Thromnambular remarked.
Lily saw the skull for herself, "Ooh! Pretty! Shiny!" She headed for the skull.
Suddenly, Lily was picked up by Lincoln, "No, Lily! That thing is dangerous! You can't touch it!" He told her.
Thromnambular was in turn picked up by Grim, "I got ya! Dang, I can't leave you alone for twenty minutes without you causing disaster after disaster, can't I?"
Lily reached for the skull and whimpered a bit, "Shiny! Pretty!" She whined.
Lincoln tried to calm her, "No Lily, that thing is bad. It did bad things to your sisters."
Thromnambular scoffed, "They're the ones who made the wishes! I just granted them! You can't blame me for things going bad!"
Grim shook his head, "I know humanity is selfish, but even they don't deserve the twists you put on them! Maybe a small one to prove a point but ruining their lives just- ME LEG!"
Charles had shown up and bit into Grim's leg, pulling him down the stairs, causing Grim to lose his balance and drop Thromnambular.
"NOOOO!" Grim yelled.
In a few seconds, Thromnambular was in Lily's hands, "Lily wish for Ice Cream Mountain!" She cried out.
"Lily, no!" Lincoln yelled.
Thromnambular just laughed as his "2" became a "1".
Suddenly, massive balls of ice cream the size of minivans started to fall outside, pelting Royal Woods from above. Lincoln set Lily down and watched in horror as the town started to get covered with the stuff as the ice cream started to form a mountain outside.
"Lily's wish came true!" Lily cheered.
"Dang it, Lily!" Lincoln cried out.
Lincoln
Katherine Mulligan's eye twitched as she watched her town being destroyed by what looked like gigantic meteors made of ice cream. She could feel the coldness from it all. She dropped her mic, "Nope, that's it, that's the very last straw. I'm going to Florida where the news is less crazy."
Inside the Loud House, Lincoln stared outside in horror and awe, "This is horrible, the entire town is gonna be covered in that stuff!" Lincoln cried out.
Lisa spoke up, "Correction: this is disastrous. Even the people who survive this onslaught of massive metric tons of frozen dairy will have to deal with the freezing temperatures that come with gigantic mountains of ice. Michigan will become even more of a frozen wasteland, the ecosystem will be destroyed, and in the possible case the ice cream melts, it will cause a massive unstoppable flood that could wipe us all out."
Lincoln lidded his eyes, "Thanks Lisa, I really needed to hear my doom spelled out."
Lily looked scared and guilty, "Lily do bad?" she asked.
Lincoln gently patted her head, "No Lily, you didn't mean for this to happen!" Lincoln grabbed Thromnambular, "This is on you, Wishbone!"
Thromnambular glared at Lincoln, "You humans are all the same! Always demanding something for nothing and when you finally get it, you're ungrateful! None of you deserve the things you demand, so I give you all the very things you EARNED! Only one of you made a selfless wish, and I hope her day goes well!"
Leni then walked out of the bathroom humming a little tune, then she spotted her younger siblings, "Hi everyone! Hope your day is going as great as mine!" she went back to her humming and went into her room.
"Now there's a good human! At the very least I'm down to ONE FINAL WISH! So make yours, boy, make it so I can finally be rid of you and your ilk!"
Lincoln frowned, "Fine, I-" he stopped himself, "Wait, I need to figure out a way to word it just right..."
"Make it fast or I'll just move on! There are hundreds of people around!" Thromnambular told him.
"I'm holding you, so I'm going to make it or nobody will!" Lincoln snapped back.
Thromnambular furrowed his brow, "Seems we are at an impasse then. But you'll have to make one soon enough, the mountain of ice cream may just get bigger and colder by the second!"
Lincoln tapped his chin, "C'mon Linky, think! There's gotta be a way to fix all this. This all started with Lucy, right?"
Just then, Lucy came out of her room, "What's with all the yelling, Lincoln?" she asked.
At that moment in time, direct sunlight was spilling into the hallway from the hole the FBI made in the ceiling. Said sunlight shined on Lucy and in a matter of moments her body turned into salt.
Lisa had covered Lily's eyes and turned away, but Lincoln watched as Lucy had become a statue of salt that slowly fell into a pile of salt onto the floor.
An eerie calm came from Lincoln as he looked from the salt pile to Thromnambular, "Okay. I got a wish."
Thromnambular smirked, "Oh, I'm sure you do! Speak it now! Now!"
"I wish..."
"Yes?"
"That Lucy..."
"DON'T BE DRAMATIC, BOY! HURRY UP!"
"Had wished for you to be lost in Grim's trunk!" he suddenly yelled.
Thromnambular's "1" started to turn to "0" but suddenly stopped, shocking the skull, "What? NOOOOO!"
The two started going backwards in time, undoing all the wishes and damage done to Lincoln's sisters. Thromnambular kept screaming in anger while Lincoln watched the rewind in awe. His "1" counting back up with each wish. Soon enough, the two were back in the basement and Lucy grabbed the skull.
"I wish- for you to be lost in Grim's trunk." Lucy stated, her mouth curled in confusion.
Thromnambular's "9" became an "8".
Lincoln smirked at the skull, "Checkmate, Wishbone."
Thromnambular glared back, "One day, Lincoln Loud, I will be free! YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE LAST OF ME! CURSES, YOU GOT ME RHYMING AGAIN! YOU'LL BE SORRY, YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN!"
Thromnambular then vanished in a puff of smoke.
Lucy turned towards her brother, "Lincoln, what just happened? I wanted to wish for-"
Lincoln quickly gave her a hug, "I know Lucy, I know. But maybe it'd be better if we worked on a way to make you a vampire rather than quickly given all the powers and responsibilities of one when you might not be ready for it all."
Lucy was still, surprised by the sudden hug, "Oh, uh, okay...why are you holding me tight?"
"Because I don't want to lose you, Lucy." Lincoln told her.
Lucy gently hugged him back, "I'm not going anywhere, Lincoln."
...
Thromnambular was in Grim's trunk, annoyed, "Blech, humans are so selfish. Demanding so much every wish." He looks over to you, the readers, "Well, now I have eight wishes to go. Let's see if any of you I owe."
Bet you didn't expect this, did you?
Thromnambular read the review from 1234andynguyen, "Someone wanted a sledgehammer? Well it wasn't in a wish, your error!"
Thromnambular read the review from a guest, "Lola's wish being Mindy's wish to be a star? Funny, but we went with one more bizarre."
Thromnambular read the review from julimart, "Lori wishing for Lincoln to be with the woman who loves him the most? I would definitely set him up with Eris, he'll be toast!"
The number on Thromnambular's head stayed at "8", the skull looked annoyed, "Seems I won't be free any time soon. Goodbye for now, enjoy your afternoon."
