Note before the chapter: This chapter will be relatively short as it will simply explain how Arthur came to this world and what happened before he met Bell, the next chapter will pick up where we left off, so feel free to skip the chapter entirely as it won't really add much to the plot.
Chapter 1.1: A walker from another world
This story, this world no longer had a foundation to stand on.
The fantasy tree had been cut down, the king of this Lostbelt had fallen and the Crypter behind it all had died.
Olympus, the citadel of the gods had fallen and with its fall this world and its inhabitants would inevitably follow.
"I'm afraid our paths will part ways from here" Said a little despondent Arthur placing his hand on the shoulder of a boy "It was a pleasure fighting by your side Ritsuka"
"..." The boy looked somewhat sadly at Arthur "We can't change your mind can we?"
"My time in Chaldea was very entertaining" Arthur replied "But I have a duty, I have to finish something that I started"
"I assumed you would say that" Agreed the boy with a bitter smile "Will we meet again?"
"I'm afraid I don't know that" Arthur said "But... I would gladly fight by your side again, if we meet again, Ritsuka"
"By the way Hey Mash!" spoke Arthur catching the attention of a pink haired girl "Take care of Master, he's been through a lot already you know?"
"Y-yes!" replied the blushing but still enthusiastic girl.
"Hey, it's not like he's going to collapse at any moment" Said the boy a bit annoyed and blushing.
"Ahaha, whatever you say Ritsuka" Arthur laughed at the reaction of the two boys the young love was certainly fascinating to watch.
Arthur then watched as a blue glow began to envelop him, that was a sign that Merlin was already doing his job and was about to take a leap into another world
"I wish you the best of luck, wonderful people of Chaldea, I will pray that you can save your world" Arthur said giving one last look at everyone in Chaldea.
Then with a flash of blue Arthur Pendragon disappeared from the place completely.

When Arthur opened his eyes all he could see were rocky, damp walls.
This made it easy to realize where he was.
"A cavern?" wondered the king of knights to himself as he looked vaguely at his surroundings.
In fact, this wasn't so bad...
He had gotten used to being sent to really horrible places by Merlin, that fool always made him appear in the worst possible places, from places full of giant beasts, to that time when Merlin found it very funny to let him appear in an active volcano, if it hadn't been for Avalon he probably wouldn't have gotten out of there
Arthur would never get used to Merlin's teleportation magic, after every trip Arthur always ended up dizzy and with a terrible headache, fortunately this did not last long thanks to Avalon who usually helped him to overcome this discomfort in a few minutes.
Once he recovered, he should know where exactly he was, this was a cavern without a doubt, but now he should look for a way out to the surface where he would set up a small camp and start collecting information about this world
"Of course, this wouldn't leave it easy for me" Arthur thought sarcastically as he realized one thing mattered.
He hadn't seen it before thanks to the dizziness, but now that he was recovered, he could see one thing, this place had two paths, either of them could be the way out or simply a way to go even deeper into this place
Taking the path closest to him Arthur started walking down a somewhat narrow rocky corridor, no doubt someone who didn't know this place very well could get lost, and to his bad fortune he was in that situation right now
"▂▂▃▃▄▄▄▅▅▅" A loud roar behind him suddenly caught his attention.
Turning quickly and wielding his ever-reliable sword Arthur was ready to fight, there behind him a large figure was looking at him with what appeared to be rage, the beast in addition to its great height, the horns on its head and the chestnut fur on its body quickly made it known what it was, a minotaur
"Oh great, a cavern with several exits and also with minotaurs, thank you very much Merlin" Arthur thought graciously.
Without waiting for the beast to have time to attack Arthur charged at it, in an instant and at superhuman speed the King of the knights approached and dropped his sword on the minotaur.
*Slash*
However, and to his surprise this cut was enough for the beast to fall leaving only a crystal behind him.
"That was too easy" Arthur thought
Perhaps he had exaggerated in using Excalibur on a monster of this style, really its appearance was much more threatening than its power, he probably overestimated it and used too much strength for something so weak.
However, the most curious thing for Arthur was the crystal that was now lying on the ground, had Excalibur been so much for this monster that it simply disintegrated it without even using a Mana blast?
No... It had to be something else, Arthur took the small crystal and put it away, he would look into this on his way out of here.
Arthur continued walking down the hallway for a while longer until he finally came to a larger area.
"Oh god you can't be serious" Arthur thought looking at this place "Damn it, Merlin, you trapped me in a maze!"
In front of him know there were no longer two possible paths... Now there were five, Arthur could almost hear Merlin's laughter for leaving him in this situation, Arthur could only hope that with his luck he could choose the right way out
Merlin definitely never made life easy for his king.

The hours had passed and Arthur could confirm that he was completely lost.
Despite having tried all the paths, he never got anywhere, and what was worse, he hadn't run into a single person anywhere either.
It didn't help at all the lack of food, he really hadn't eaten anything since he left Chaldea, and everything he killed around here only left that stupid crystal, which by the way tasted horrible.
Not only was it as hard as metal, Arthur was sure that Gawain's mashed potato tasted much better than that stupid rock.
*Crash*
Arthur's thoughts were interrupted when he felt a strong tremor that caused several rocks from the ceiling to fall heavily to the ground.
Arthur remained expectant for any sign of something happening, he had a bad feeling, he didn't know why, but something told him that this tremor was not something common.

The young man continued on his way with his guard up, the first thing for now would be to find someone who could help him.
After a few minutes he was finally able to reach a place he hadn't seen, it was a much more spacious space than before, he really hoped that he had ended up diving deeper into this cavern
"▂▂▃▃▄▄▄▅▅▅" A loud roar heard in the distance caught the Knight's attention.
Arthur decided to go investigate, most likely it was another monster, but from his experience with these, they usually didn't make noise unless they were chasing something or calling out to their kind
Tightening his pace Arthur approached as fast as he could in the direction where the roars were coming from and there, he could see how a boy who looked quite injured was being chased, well that definitely didn't look good at all.
Arthur could see how the monster caught up with the boy and hit him sending him flying into a wall.
"Shit, it's going to kill him" thought Arthur.
Seeing this Arthur didn't hesitate twice and using his superhuman speed in an instant he managed to close in behind the monster.
*Slash*
Throwing a quick and strong cut Arthur managed to get rid of the beast and approached the boy with concern.
"Are you all, right?" asked Arthur worriedly, but the boy seemed to have been knocked unconscious.
The boy's wounds looked much worse up closely, there was no doubt that if he didn't get help soon, this boy would die.
Then a strong glow that would have blinded anyone flooded the room and there in Arthur's empty hand a luxurious piece of equipment made of gold and decorated with blue enamel that looks more like a treasure to show dignity and nobility like a crown or a cane than a weapon, this was a holster, this holster was Avalon.
In the legends no one knows what kind of Divine Mystery Avalon is made of, but it was created by the fairies along with Excalibur, with an inscription written in Fairy Letters engraved in its center to show that it is not man-made. This sheath was capable of granting limited immortality through constant regeneration, as well as preventing physical deterioration caused by aging.
This was a treasure only meant to be used by King Arthur, but at the same time Arthur could not let this boy die in front of him, he had nothing else with him to help the boy and he did not know where the way out was, this boy would not get help in time, so without a single moment's hesitation Arthur brought the sheath close to the boy and placed it on his lap.
The sheath did its job, the wounds healed and the boy would live, but Arthur couldn't just leave him here adrift, another monster would attack him and everything he did would be in vain, so saving Avalon once again, Arthur took the boy and hid in a place not too far away.
Perhaps this would delay his task, but Arthur would take care of this child until he recovered, after all, how could he live knowing that he left a child to die in a dangerous place?

Well, this is the end of this short chapter
How do you like it?
As I mentioned this is a chapter that could be omitted since it doesn't really add much to the main plot, I just wanted to do something a little different to the two previous chapters and to the chapters that are coming from here on.
About Ritsuka, I want to say that his appearance is only a cameo since I have no plans to add him in any way in the story, if you wonder why I chose the setting of the Lostbelt of Olympus, I must say it's because of all the Lostbelts this is my favorite, so I thought I would make, even a mention to that part of the history of the game.
Well, if you liked it, please don't forget to like and share it, it would be very helpful.
Without further ado, see you in the next update.
