Chapter 1: Episode Arrival
It was a dark stormy night near the southern coast of the United Federation, when Sonic the hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower were flying on the Tornado back to Tails' workshop to rest after a fierce battle with the notorious doctor Eggman. While the Tornado flew closer to the ocean shore, Tails noticed something strange about the sea.
"Hey, Sonic! The Miles Electric just detected something off about the water levels here!", a concerned Tails pointed at the device in his hand.
Sonic looked down at his friend's hand from the wing, and asked,"What's up, little buddy?"
"Well, it seems that the water levels in the ocean are decreasing rapidly by the second!"
Sonic's usual smile was slowly replaced by a frown and a raised eyebrow. "Do you think it's a tsunami?"
"That could be possible, but there's also an unusual amount of chaos energy in the area being detecte-!" Before Tails could finish the sentence, a large gust of wind threw the plane into a spiral off course! Sonic and Tails hanged on for dear life as their hands clung on to the metal surface of the Tornado.
"SONIC!" Tails screamed for his friend as Sonic's grip started to loosen.
Sonic held a reassuring thumbs up as they both looked up to see that a giant moving object stemming from the ocean surface, which seemed to be at least 200 meters high. It was moving at breaknecking speeds, causing large gusts of wind.
"Hang on little buddy! Do you think you can get us up to see what this thing is?" Sonic gritted his teeth and turned his palm into a fist, a look of determination in his eyes.
Tails put on a brave face and nodded, he turned on his flashlight to get a better look at the massive object, to see a charcoal coloured object resembling a gigantic snake of some sort.
Just as they flew a little closer, a chartreuse glow suddenly appeared on the ocean surface, emitting large amounts of raw chaos energy. The glow was getting brighter and brighter, while the water from the ocean was rapidly evaporating from the intense heat, creating a dense fog in the surrounding area.
"Uh, Tails, ya' seeing this?", sweat started to accumulate on sonic's face, when dozens of flickering white dorsal spines emerged from the sinking water.
"Yeah, I don't think that's your flashlight Tails!", an anxious Sonic pointed to the glowing dorsal spines. Even his cocky self started to become scared.
Tails kept his calm but wary posture and continued to fly the tornado closer to the light in a circle. In the blink of an eye an enormous figure rose up and stood on the dry ocean floor, remaining hidden in the fog but its silhouette remained visible due to its glowing back.
"WHAT in the name of Gai-", before Sonic could finish his sentence, a fearsome and agonizing cry came from the imposing figure, silencing every other sound in a 50 mile radius. Large chunks of the boulders on the ocean floor were blown away, while the dense fog briefly transformed into a sandstorm.
"SKREEONK", the large figure's roar tore the Tornado in half instantly, forcing Tails to react by grabbing sonic and try to remain airborn with his two tails.
"TAILS! There's no way you can reach to shore with this wind while carrying me!", Sonic, trying to save his little brother, resists Tails' hold.
Tails furiously shaked his head,"There's no way I'm leaving you with this thing!" Sonic nodded after some thought. Tails closed his eyes, bit his lip, and used all of his strength to fly and escape, but to no avail, as the large figure moved closer and faster, the wind also became progressively more powerful. When Tails finally overcame his struggle with the wind and started to fly to safety, he realized that his hands were empty. To his terror, Sonic was falling back towards the dense fog with a bittersweet smile and salute.
"SONIC! NO!"
"Alright little bro, promise me when you get to land, tell everybody that something big is coming, okay?", Sonic's quills face foward as he himself fell backwards towards the unknown, fading into the fog. Not a even a shadow of him could be seen. Tails gritted his teeth and reluctantly flew away.
Sonic pushed his arms and legs backwards with his eyes fixated on the creature in the fog. A bolt of lightening flashed before his eyes, as he saw a gigantic scared reptilian head beside him, with its souless white eyes made eye contact with Sonic's own vibrant green pupils, before Sonic descended into the abyss.
"SONIC! NO!"
Metal Sonic watched the events unfold on a monitor in an unknown Eggman base, as the good doctor placed a tracker on Tails to monitor his path. However, he ordered it to keep watch.
Metal Sonic's eyes flickered when he saw the raw power the creature possesed. "Conclusion, unknown entity holds high amounts of chaos energy and is incomparable to thy loathsome inferior copy, must either take control or eliminate the threat to ensure the Eggman Empire to thrive without challeges in power. alternative solution, copy thy bio data to become the superior Sonic."

Well, this was an idea on my mind for a while, so I thought I'd finally execute it, don't expect chapters of more than 1500 words though! Hope you enjoy my work. I plan to post new chapters every month unless for some special reason: tests, exams and stuff. Otherwise, I'll say so in a note.
