CHAPTER 1

No one is this world will call this a house. This is not house this is a mansion. Two large staircases leading to the main gate. Big arches, huge cendiller, high ceilings. It's like a Disney Castle. If I had seen it in my teen age years I would have been running and jumping up and down by now. But now I am mature, I learned my life's lesson well; there is will be no white horse, no castle and no prince for me, ever. My Master is a prince but he has no interest in me or what he said once 'he doesn't want me to want him this way'. He told me so many times he wants me independent. That's it.

As we cross hall way I counted 7 rooms, one big hall, one dining room and one room with large TV. We reached end of the hallway where a gate lead us to a bigger hall which have a TV and sofa set in center, left corner has a dinning table. I can see 3 doors, one is on left just beside dinning table and other two is on the front end of hall.

Master Edward leads me to sofa set where 4 girls 2 women and 6 man standing in a line.

"How is everything Sue"

"The room is clean and ready sir. Dinner will be at table at 9. Do you want to have some snacks now?"

"No I have to fresh up and attain a conference. Jassica and Angela I am assigning you to Bella. You will take care of her and her needs." I was so overwhelm by seeing so many people that I didn't notice when Master turn toward me.

"Bella, they will show you your room. Unpack your things and relax. Please eat dinner when you get hungry, don't wait for me, I will be late. Ok?"

"Yes Master" His eyes freeze and I saw his jaw clench. At first I didn't understand what happened that then I realized my mistake and looked down.

"Everyone leave." I heard boots and heels leaving the hall. I know I am not into that everyone.

Once everyone gone he holds my chin and made me look at him.

"You know what you did?"

I nodded with my tearful eyes. I know shouldn't have called him that but this habit is drilled into my soul.

"Apologies and promise me you won't repeat it." His voice has a hard edge into it which is penetrating in my heart

"I am so sorry Ma…" I bit my tonge second time today "I won't do it again. I promise"

"If you repeat this mistake, you will not be allowed to talk to Alice, Esme and me for 3 days." I look up in his eyes searching for the person I've known. How can he become so cold? Tear spilled on my chin when I didn't found him. I don't know who he is anymore.

"Bella.." He wiped my tears with his thumbs. "You don't know how hard it is for me." His voice sounds like a plea to me, like he is begging me to understand him.

"I don't want to hurt you" He hold my face close and kissed my forehead. "But I will." He whispered in my hair but then he looked in my eyes and his voice turned into resolve "I will hurt you, emotionally, mentally and physically. I will hurt you till the time you won't learn to stand on your own. Till the time you learn to fly." I am dizzy by his speech of hurting me. All this time I was sure about one thing that he won't hurt me and now….

"Have you ever seen how birds teach their young birds to fly?" His voice interrupted my thoughts. I don't know when he left my side to sit on sofa. He hold his hand out for me, I took and sit beside him. He made me look at him again and answer the question in my eyes.

"They throw them off the cliff again and again till the time they learn to open their wings and fly. I will throw you Bella but I promise I won't let you hit the ground" I don't understand his meaning, all I know is he will hurt me.

"Go take rest."

"Yes Ma…" oh my poor tongue I bite it third time today.
