8.00pm Amy arrived at Apartment 4B. Sheldon opened the door.
"Hello Amy, thank you for coming so quickly."
"As always it is good to see you Sheldon. However, could this not have waited until tomorrow at Caltech? I have had a long and busy day."
"Ah yes, how were your interviews?"
"We found some suitable new graduate students, the young lady from Australia that we interviewed was fantastic."
"Please sit down Amy, I shall make a hot beverage."
Amy sat down and said "What is this Sheldon?"
"Two hours and forty-seven minutes ago I was across hall talking to the Hofstadters. Sara said that she liked my girlfriend. Since then I have not been able to stop thinking about you. I would like you to have this my dear Amy."
Sheldon handed over a big envelope containing some papers.
"What is this Sheldon?"
"It is a relationship agreement giving your rights and duties as my girlfriend. If you could sign in the appropriate sections that I have indicated?"
"You want me to be your girlfriend?"
"Didn't I just say that?"
"Yes you did. Why this agreement, have you had one with any girlfriends in the past?"
"I have never had any in the past."
"So why the agreement? Come here boyfriend."
Amy kissed Sheldon and this time he kissed her back!
Then they could hear the Hofstadters coming up the stairs, Amy took Sheldon by the hand and opened the door
"Hello Sara, Uncle Sheldon's girlfriend says she likes you too…"
