The return of Klatu

Chapter Three

Ellison turned to face Klatu and the council. Since Klatu already knew his fate from his grandfather. Ellison will say the following to him...

"Klatu, I am very disappointed with you and your ethics of running the planet Anders and the military. For twenty years since coming back from Earth. You're not been the same man both on the outside and inside for the most part." he advised while the council murmured with their voices listening to the president.

Klatu waited briefly before deciding to answer him with his response.

Turning to face Ellison completely...

"Grandfather I am tired of your antics of running the council and of the military. I needed to find the right words when it comes to peace of this planet and the entire solar system. I plan on heading back to Earth once I am done here with you and the council. It's a damn shame it had to come to this fact with telling you as to what I am planning on doing." he takes in a deep breath while his white knuckles had been behind his back.

Ellison looks over at the council with discussion shown on his aged face. "And what exactly is what you're planning on doing Klatu?" he had to ask with a loud tone boom.

Take a brief moment before answering the question. He will say the following to his grandfather.

His entire body was shaking. He needed to get through this with his grandfather. "Ellison, I will be leaving Anders and the council. I am so sick and tired of all of the political Bullship that was developed by you. No one will be able to stop me from leaving or else I will be able to take action with my robot that has the power to destroy like the rest of the military force." he advised with anger.

Ellison stood up with his frail, white hand hitting the wooden table in pain to tell him..." HOW DARE YOU! I just can't believe that you're able to threaten me like this and the council?" he cried out to Klatu.

"How dare you as well Grandfather!" Klatu remarked before turning to leave the council chambers.

Meanwhile at the military airfield where the spacecraft was located with three of Klatu's military friends helping him to get on board for take off.

The three of them carrying their laser weapons have to be pointed at the three security officers walking the perimeter around the spacecraft. Klatu was on his way over having contacted his friends to begin their action against the security forces.

Lewiston younger than the other two has decided to come along with Klatu to head for Earth which will be taking five months to reach the planet.

He fired his laser against the first security officer to drop to the cement ground out cold. He's not going to be waking up within the next five hours as with the other two.

Lewiston and his two friends in uniforms of black and white along with a helmet to cover their eyes from the glare of the darkened sky and radiation breaking through the main protection of the planet slowly dying away.

He orders the other two to place the three into the dark shed not too far away from the spacecraft while everyone is elsewhere working. "Place them into the shed so that their bodies won't be found by the next security forces," he tells them in a soft tone voice while placing his laser weapon back into his holster as with the other two.

Placing the three bodies into the shed with closing the double doors. Lewiston receives a communication from Klatu that he is on his way over after leaving the council chambers. "Opening up the communications device to say the following..."Understood, Klatu. We will have the spacecraft ready for take off." he says with the other two heading over to the spacecraft while holding onto their laser weapons just in case.

"Understand, Lewiston. I will be there in 15 minutes to the airfield." Klatu will say while retrieving a small blue and white truck taken from the council chambers.

Lewiston having to be the youngest of the group turned to face the two waiting for their next orders. "Please be sure to have the three officers down and out for at least five hours. we don't need the military forces to be coming after us while the spacecraft is in space and heading for Earth."

Robertson aged 75 years old will say the following. "What about Klatu's enemies that might have heard about him leaving Anders?" he advised with a slight whisper.

Lewiston had the answer for him and his other friend waiting quietly with his laser weapon in hand. They had a job that needed to be done.

Shaking his head for a brief moment. "Let's hope that it doesn't come to that point with battling the enemies of Anders. We don't need any further problems with the take-off and long-term voyage to Earth." he cried out in his response.

"More like four months Lewiston!" Roberston needed to speak with a loud tone with anyone who was able to hear around them.

He cried out to both men with his frustration..."Shut up already! We have a job that needs to be done with Klatu to be here soon." he remarked.

Meanwhile, in another area, Anders on board a small communications center having had been taken over by another fraction or rather enemies of the planet, Ellison, and most of all the council.

The group called the Nortons ousted from the military have been keeping close communications when it comes to Klatu and his friends. They had found out from a particular source that this was going to happen with Klatu leaving for Earth.

Their orders are to try and stop them from reaching out of the Andromeda system and heading for Earth. Even though it's going to be taking four months at best.

Their main communications officer advised Colonel Klute unmarried and had been with the military for 15 years working on several stations. His father had been killed five years ago during a battle with one of the activated robots.

Colonel Klute turned his head slightly to be told regarding the information about Klatu and his friends. He was drinking his flavored drink while placing it on the cement table with a cooler. Turned to say the following..."Fair enough! We need to be following them during the voyage while using the cloaking device." he ordered his cohorts to be able to understand his orders.
