Chapter 12th

Helen Benson will say the following over the phone. "Okak, General, I will be there within the hour." she will tell him.

She was sipping his water further. He will tell her the following. "Very well, I will be waiting inside the communications center." he gulped with a deep breath.

Helen hangs up the phone somewhat disturbed about the phone call. She needed to take a breather momentarily before heading in the opposite direction for the Pentagon.

She started her vehicle with the window down. The fresh air from the drive was waking her up for the most part. She had been thinking too much lately concerning her son Bobby and Klatu.

Helen moved off into the light traffic of the day. She needed to keep a level head once she finally arrived at the Pentagon...

Gaza Strip...

Robert and his team were inside the region after two months. They were checking the rubble of the recent bombing by the Israeli military. It was hot and humid at the moment as Colonel Robert Benson needed to wipe his brow from the sweat and water dripping.

Two of his officers came running over screaming towards their commanding officer. "Sir, we found survivors only a few moments from here." Sergeant Jack O'Dell cried out catching his breath.

Colonel Benson will say the following..."Try and take it easy sergeant. Call the Israeli medical personnel to come and take care of them. We have a job further to search for the others." he advised the sergeant and the other two getting on the walkie talkie to contact them.

Corporal Willis age 25 years old and a possible career man went to work with sending a transmission to the medical personnel. "Sir, the message has been sent to the medical personnel." he exhaled...

She turned to face the young man pulling a piece of rubble after finishing the message.

"Okay, now let's continue until they get here. We might get lucky to find someone further alive." Colonel announced with a deep breath.

He was able to see his personnel continue with their work with the rubble. It was a few moments they heard Isreal bombers fly over them to head for possible Hamas targets.

Pentagon

Mrs. Helen Benson moved into her parking lot after checking in with the security officer at the main gate. There was a great deal of traffic heading back and forth through the gates.

Turning off the engine after checking to make sure everything was fine.

Moving out...she looked up to see the strange glow in the skies. She had no idea just what it might be in the first place. She will need to ask the general her question.

Since she had her pass to get into the building and General Lewis. At this particular moment, she heard the sirens go off once again like the last time. She met up with a courier asking to come with him to take the woman to the general.

"What's going on Ensign?" she cried out with her scared response.

Sergeant Jones recently joined the security courier force of the Pentagon. "An alert, mamam," he says to her turning to head for the main elevator to head for where General Lewis is located.

Standing up against the wall of the elevator to take both of them to the bottom level where the main Command Center is located. She closed her eyes briefly while taking a quick look at the young courier calm mostly.

Feeling the moving of the elevator finally arriving at the Command Center. She now felt more secure with the courier taking her to General Lewis in his office or at the Center controls to find out about who or what was causing the alert.

She watched everyone at their control working with finding what was going on with the alert. Then all of a sudden the sirens shut down even though everyone wasn't stopping with their work.

The ensign stopped twice before arriving at the General's office busy having to be on the phone. He knocked twice for the General to hear the response.

"COME!" He says finishing his phone call from the president of the United States.

"Sir, Mrs. Benson is here as per your request," he said loudly looking over at the woman.

"Have her come on inside, ensign," he tells him with his order and Mrs. Benson to open the door before walking inside...
