I'm dead….
It was a cold feeling…. Just so cold and dark…. Like I was in a dream that I would never wake up from… no light… no warmth….no anything…. Just darkness.
Cold….pitch black… darkness…
I repeat that in my mind over and over and over…..
Over and over….
Over and over….

It's actually quite simple.
DeAtH iS-! #$ !%#!^ !
A young man groan loudly as the rays of the sun hit his face, causing him to stir as he felt heat emitting around his eyes. Slowly waking up, he sat up while covering his eyes with forearm rubbing them to stave off the drowsiness.
Removing his arm, he let out a loud yawn as he stretched his arms above his head before letting them drop to his side and stared at the space in front of him which was anything but creative. In front of him was a blank wall with a tv on a nightstand, a dresser to the left of it and a desk with a lamp on the right.
The boy turned his head to his clock up on the wall and saw that it was about 7:30 which meant that school started in about an hour and thirty minutes. Taking the covers off, he slid off the bed revealing his pajamas consisting of black shorts with a grey short sleeve shirt and black socks, as he made his way over to the bathroom to take a shower.
As he took off his shirt, he examined his body. He had dark skin with short black hair and had shadows underneath his silver eyes but this is natural to him due to his nightmares when he was younger. Lastly, there were two jagged lines around his arms that went straight from his wrists to his elbows. He grimaced at the thought of how he had received those cuts but at the same time it was a lesson that was engraved into him… at how cruel the world could be towards those that were good… how the cruel the good were preyed upon by those with egos to bring down their self-esteem…
Reality is cruel.
Ridding himself of those thoughts, he took off his clothes and proceeded to take a 10 minute shower then proceeded to put on his uniform and out his apartment. Though instead of heading out the door like a normal person, he headed out the window and jumped down from his third floor apartment and onto the awning and rolled off onto the ground landing perfectly. Fixing his uniform, he turned down the road and went straight for his destination.
After walking for about a half hour, he found himself at the gates of Kuoh Academy. One of the most prestigious schools in the country of Japan. The young man then felt movement on his right thigh, reaching into his pocket he grabbed his phone and pulled it out, touching the screen and read the notification that just came through.
[Hey Itsuki, it's your neighbor Mi-chan. Just wanted to say thank you for the photos of the wedding that was requested last week. I would like you to come here around five for a special occasion. See you soon and wish you luck on your first day at school 😊]
Itsuki stared at the screen with a indifferent expression before shrugging his shoulders and put the phone away back in his pocket. He didn't really see the point of why he needed to be appreciated on the photos, it was a job. One of the jobs he found out he had a talent for and knew that it would help him in the long run.
Sighing to himself, Itsuki continued his walk and made his way into the school earning the students' attention which is something he didn't need. While walking he made quick glances at others noticing that there were more girls than boys and then remembered that the academy used to be an all-girls school so it was only natural that there were more girls than boys but that left him a single question.
Why was this place turned into a coed school instead of just being one in the beginning?
He'll never know the answer to that until he finds out on his own or someone tells him. And he's not interested to be honest… either way it was still school and if he wanted to continue living his boring life then he needed the education, regardless of the answer.
Itsuki then heard some words that reached his ears, listening closely to the hushed whispers of the other students around him.
Who is that, is he knew? I've never seen him around before?"
"Who cares, it's just another boy and not a hot girl?"
"Does he have bags under his eyes, he looks like a zombie?"
"He looks so shy."
"At least it's not another pretty boy, we already have enough of those!"
What was wrong with these people, just what the hell were their opinion on new students? It's like they're expecting a new hot girl or a very handsome guy anytime someone new enters the academy, why is that and who were these Four Great Ladies of Kuoh?
Shrugging his shoulders, Itsuki decided to go ahead and walk inside the building heading straight for the administration office to receive his schedule, unaware of someone was watching him from above and from the side as he entered the building.
Itsuki was standing outside the door of his first classroom. He could already hear the voices inside the classroom and could tell that they were the same as the people outside, expecting someone pretty or handsome which he found a bit annoying. Sighing to himself, he grabbed the handle and opened the door earning silence as the class turned to look at him while he walked towards the female teacher.
"Hello there, you must be the new student." The teacher greeted with a kind smile on her face as Itsuki approached her.
"Yes ma'am." He answered.
"Well then, would you please introduce yourself." She instructed as he nodded his head.
"Good morning, my name is Itsuki Yurei and I'm new here nice to meet everyone and I hope we all get along." Itsuki greeted with a blank gaze as everyone sweat dropped at his tone.
'He's sounds so dead.'
"Welcome to the class Itsuki, I'm the teacher Toshiko if you have any questions or concerns just let me know. You'll be sitting behind our student Katase, Katase could you please raise your hand." Toshiko said as the said girl raised her hand and Itsuki spotted her, making his way over to her.
Once he made his way over, they both slightly made eye contact as the boy sat behind her but neither said a word as Itsuki sat down with Katase giving him a quick look before turning back to the class.
Itsuki could hear someone muttering to the far side of his left but he didn't care as he took out his notebook as Toshiko began class. The first class wasn't so bad since it involved history and English, nothing too major however Itsuki didn't have a book so he would have to share with someone and Toshiko informed him that he could borrow the classroom's copy until he got his own which wouldn't arrive till next week.
After classes ended it was first break and Itsuki had immediately disappeared from the crowd and decided to explore the school for a bit looking around the halls as he saw many students converse with one another talking about current events that revolved around the school or something in the world. He looked around the place until he was outside and found himself a nice spot under a tree and decided to take a seat underneath it.
Setting his bag down, he took out his notebook and already started working on his homework from first class as he figured he might as well get it over with now then worry about it later.
As he was working on this, he was once again unaware of that he was being watched. Looking at him from afar, was a voluptuous woman with long black hair reaching down to her back with two strands sticking out from the top, all tied together with an orange ribbon. This was Akeno Himejima, one of the four great Ladies of Kuoh and the big sister of the ORC.
She was currently gazing at the said boy with a palm on her right cheek, she had watched him come into the school and for some reason she finds him odd. He wasn't socializing with his classmates or getting to know them, he instantly went straight to do what looked like homework, as he was away from others.
Maybe he was shy around other people or didn't want to be around them.
Maybe she should ask him herself….
"Something caught your eye, Akeno?" A voice said next to her. Approaching her was her King and best friend Rias Gremory. Like Akeno, Rias had a buxom figure, long crimson hair that reached her thighs with a single strand of hair poking out at the top, and blue-green eyes.
"Oh, it's nothing much Rias." Akeno said as the redhead followed her gaze at found what she was looking at.
"Who is that boy?" Rias asked.
"He's a second-year student that started today, his name is Itsuki Yurei." Akeno answered.
"A new student, huh." Rias placed a hand underneath her chin as she wondered why Akeno had taken in interest at the boy she was looking at. From afar, it didn't seem like much other than that he was writing his notes and it looked like there were bags under his eyes… when the last time he slept…
"He looks so sleep-deprived… Akeno, do you believe there's something more to him?" Rias wondered as the ravenette just shook her head.
"Beats me." Akeno answered.
"Oh, then he simply just caught your eye then?" She asked as Akeno smiled. Rias thought that there was something more beside
"Guilty as charge." She admitted to the redhead while turning back to Itsuki. For some reason, she wanted to meet him and introduce herself to him. Plus if the boy had no friends, then she wouldn't mind becoming his first one. "You wouldn't mind if I greeted him, would you?"
"You don't need permission from me to make someone feel welcome Akeno." Rias answered with a wave. "If he catches your eye, then you're free to interact with him however you wish to. Koneko should be back in a little bit, so feel free to do what you want to." The redhead then proceeded to strip herself of her clothes and took a shower leaving Akeno by herself who continued to stare Itsuki.
The said boy let out a sigh as he looked up from his journal only to pause when he caught sight of a beautiful girl staring at him from the window of a building. He was unsure of how to proceed as no one had ever made eye contact with him other than occasional glance or passing by.
The girl above him then gave him a smile and a wave, he was confused but he then proceeded to do the same, at least the wave part not the smile as he wasn't able to form one. Then the bell rung as he realized that he needed to get to his next class right away, as he packed up his stuff and started walking. He stopped for a quick second to look back at the building where he saw the girl only to see that she was gone.
He narrowed his eyes as he wondered if his insomnia was playing tricks on him and he was starting to become delusional. Remembering that he had class, he turned around and headed straight for his third class but he could not get the thought of the beautiful girl out of his head for the remainder of the day.
Itsuki's first day at school wasn't so bad. Other then the fact that his insomnia was affecting his mentality and he didn't socialize, it was all and all good day at least. Now he was on his way to his job to meet up with his neighbor Misami who was also his boss.
Her workplace was actually a few minutes away from his apartment. After walking for 15 minutes, he made a right turn at a local street passing by some people that were pretty livelier than he was, all of them with one person or a group of people that were either friends or family.
Friends and Family…. Something that he did not have….
He wondered what the feeling of having those things felt like….
While he was dealt a bad hand, he wasn't craving for it like other people would if they were lonely. He was just simply curios what it would be like to have friends or family. If the world simply wanted him to be alone than he just let it happen… he had try to make friends in the past but it was never easy for him and family was a whole other category that he had no expertise in how to handle so he just went with whatever he was given.
Itsuki was in his thoughts for so long that he didn't realize that someone was waving their hand in front of him.
"ITSUKI-CHAN!" Someone shouted at him as the said boy jolted awake and looked up who screamed him. He was met with a adolescent woman who had long straight shoulder length brown hair with bangs framing around her red eyes, wearing a clear blouse with two top buttons undone showing her cleavage, a black skirt with matching thigh-highs and high heels.
"Oh, Misami. Apologies I was in deep thought." Itsuki apologized as the said woman gave him a pout.
"I can see that but I thought I told you already to call me Mi-chan, Mi-chan~" Misami drawled out as she poke Itsuki in the cheek.
"But your name is Misami." Itsuki said only for the woman to shake her head. She cupped his face and examined the dark circles underneath his eyes.
"Itsuki, I thought I told you to sleep more."
"I did." He answered but the woman didn't believe him as she kept her gaze on him. "I'm serious, this is normal for me." He said again only for the woman to let out a sigh.
'I wish I could believe you on that… but I don't.' Misami thought as she knew that Itsuki was hardly sleeping anymore due to a lack of sleep from nightmares or refusing to sleep as she knows it's a bit of both.
"Anyway, come along let's go."
"Where are we going?"
"To eat out what else." She said as if it was obvious.
"Didn't you say you wanted to speak with me about something?" Itsuki asked as she went behind him and gently pushed him along.
"You'll find out as soon as we find a place to eat now come on." She urged as they both started walking away from the building and went to a different location.
Few minutes later, both of them were inside a local restaurant sitting at an island as they were eating their food. Misami was eating to steamed rice and chicken katsu while Itsuki had fried rice and gyoza.
"Mmm, so good~. It's been so long since I've had some katsu."
"You've literally had it two nights ago." Itsuki reminded her as she rolled her eyes.
"Yeah but that's still too long for me." Misami said as she drop another piece of chicken in her mouth before turning to Itsuki. "So how was your first day?"
"It was okay."
"Really, nothing exciting happen? Make any new friends?" She pressed further with a teasing grin.
"No, I didn't try to nor did anyone want to interact with me so it's fine." Itsuki answered.
"Itsuki, I know you aren't the one to be nervous but you should at least try to make friends."
"I did at one point and failed.
"Itsuki."
"Besides, the last time I tried to make friends I got these as a reminder." Itsuki mentioned as he put down his fork and pointed to his bandage arms as Misami let out a small gasp.
"W-what!?"
"Yeah, I got these when I was little and at the orphanage. Not a lot of kids wanted to interact with me because they thought I looked creepy due to my insomnia and thought it was funny to mess with me. So they thought I would be an easy target to bully only to regret it later. When one of them decided to push me and hit me with a stick, I decided to show them I wasn't taking anything. So I took their stick and started hitting them all in the face, it didn't work and as a result this happened." Itsuki fully removed his bandages and showed Misami who could only cover her mouth in shock as she gazed at his scars. The multiple cuts all along his arms and the one that trailed up on each side.
"Itsuki… I… I didn't know that….." Misami tried to apologize but stopped as Itsuki raised his hand.
"It's fine, It's not your fault. Besides I felt like I should but I knew that caretakers weren't going to do anything so I didn't anything and left the place for my own survival."
"This is nothing more than a reminder that there's always going to be someone that preys on the weaker people for their own benefit and proves that no matter how strong they say they are, the truth is they're just as weak as everyone else." Itsuki stated as he stared at his food, not really feeling the need to eat anymore. Deciding the to pay the bill, he took out his wallet and was about to pull his money until Misami stopped him.
"It's okay, I can pay for the food. Why don't you go on and head home?"
"Are you sure?"
"Mhm, I have some work to do afterwards and I wanted to give you this as well." Misami reached into her purse and pulled out a gift-wrapped item and gave it to Itsuki who stared at it in disbelief. "Well go on and open it."
"A photobook." Itsuki said as he turned to Misami.
"I've noticed that you've always had you pictures in a protective sleeve but they were always folded or bent due since you kept them in your bag or holding onto them, so I got you something to be a little more organized."
"Thanks." Itsuki nodded his head in appreciation. "I'll see you tomorrow." He said as he turned around and left leaving Misami with her thoughts on her student. She wanted to say more but kept her tongue as she frowned softly and went ahead paying for the food.
Itsuki was at home as he dropped his bag by the door and walked into the apartment sitting down on the chair that was by the patio door. Sighing to himself, Itsuki decided to go ahead and try to take a nap for at least an hour or two if his mind would let him and then get back to his daily routine only to stop when he heard a weird sound rang through the air.
Opening his eyes, he looked around and saw nothing in sight.
'What is that noise, and where is it coming from?' Itsuki slowly walked towards his room as he heard humming get a little bit louder. When he arrived he saw something that paused him in his tracks, inside the room there was someone or something floating around the bed.
They weren't moving or anything, they were just standing there like a ghost with and everything around him was pitch black. Itsuki wasn't scared of someone of being inside his home, he was unnerved by the fact that something that was or even felt human was inside his home.
He slowly approached, as he reached out to grab the figure only for him to pause and white eyes opened up staring straight at him, paralyzing his movement and suddenly the shadow let out a roar before it charged straight at him as he let out a soundless scream.
"HAH!" Itsuki shouted as he sprouted up from the bean bag chair, breathing erratically as looked around the room. His head swerving from left to right and his eyes moving around frantically until he realized that he was bag in the living room.
Itsuki then looked down at himself and saw that he was wearing the same clothes as before and there was any blood spilled. Quickly getting up, he rushed to his bedroom and opened the door thinking what he saw was real only to be confused when he saw nothing inside the room other than his normal decorations.
"What?" He turned his head to the clock and saw that it was 8.
"It… it was a dream…." He came to that conclusion as he felt his head ache and placed his hand on his forehead. "But it felt so real…. There's no that way that wasn't real."
Itsuki knows that there was something else he saw and he felt that thing or whatever it was enter his body the moment it touched him, and now it was nowhere to be seen… maybe he was starting to have hallucinations again… either way he'll solve them later.
He needed to take a shower and head to school if he wanted to be there on time. He put that dream of his into his thoughts and proceeded to his normal activities. After taking a shower, he decided to skip breakfast and headed straight for school.
Itsuki thought he would be heading straight for school but his thoughts were thinking back to the previous night. That shadow figure he saw standing in the room, he wasn't sure who or what it was other than the fact that it was a person.
It had to be a person. There was no way it was anything else supernatural. Not that he didn't think it wasn't real but he knew that sometimes there are things that can't be explained through scientific and normal means.
There's always stuff out there that can't be explained and that's the type of stuff that both fascinates and terrifies humans. At least 25% of the world will always be fascinated by the unknown but the other 75% will fear it. And that fear can turned into hate.
Humans will literally dislike each other because of something different. They can be the same person, have the same favorite place, same activities, but the moment that one thing is different about that other whether it's something they or they like, it might as well be apples and oranges. That person or group will turn on you completely and you'll be seen as a black sheep.
"I wonder if there's that the same for the supernatural, then again I might as well as be crazy." Itsuki commented to himself as he stopped walking and looked down at the ground, staring at his shadow that raised it's hand and slowly waving at him. He was tempted to do the same but looked up at the sky seeing anything different about the wea-
Itsuki eyes widened in shock as he looked back down at the ground and saw his shadow copying his movements. He moved his arms out and legs even took off his bag backpack and tossed it a few times only to see that his shadow was normal…
Groaning he realized that he was starting to hallucinate and now he has to get by the day dealing with this problem. He just hoped that it would only affect him whenever he was alone, and this feeling of dread he felt around his chest would just go away.
Itsuki was at the tree as first break came around. He decided to stay in class this time not really feeling the energy to walk anywhere. Though he did receive some looks from his classmates but he didn't really care, he was used to that by now. He was working on homework so it wasn't bothering him until someone decided to approach.
"Excuse us fellow classmate." Itsuki paused what he was doing, looked up and saw a young man with spiky brown hair in front of him.
"Can I help you?" He asked politely.
"Wanna come with me and my friends to go to our secret spot?"
"Secret spot?" Itsuki asked, wondering if this was some weird initiation. "What's so special about this secret spot and what is it?"
"Well, that would ruin the whole point if I just told you, come on it will be fun." He urged.
Out of the corner of his eye, Itsuki noticed that some people were glaring at them, most of them were girls. This either meant the guy was trouble off the bat or does something that people find annoying here.
Sighing to himself, he decided to rubbed his forearm and play along.
"Fine, whatever."
"Sweet meet me around the lunch and I'll take you from there, you'll discover the true wonder of this school has to offer." He boasted as Itsuki blinked.
"Okay." He answered as the said brunette walked away and as soon as he was gone, he heard the other kids around him start to talk about the guy. Normally he wouldn't care about it but he heard the words pervert and perverted trio, catching his interest. Which he would figure out later after he falls asleep since his eyes were starting to drift and his head was tilting back and forth.
He was about to enter dreamland until someone had tapped him on the shoulder.
"Hey."
"Hmm." Itsuki jolted straight up and looked to his right and saw his classmate Katase staring at him with a stern expression on her face.
"Don't listen to him, he's only going to get you in trouble." She warned him.
"Does this have to do with the words pervert and pervert trio?" He wondered as she nodded her head. "That would make sense, mostly girls in here were staring at me like I did something wrong."
Katase gave him a soft expression. "Apologies, their ire is not on you but on Issei."
"Issei?"
"That's his name. His friends Matsuda and Motohama, all three of them are called the pervert trio due to their activities of spying on the girls in the locker room, or openly talking about girls lewdly." She explained as she sat down in front of him.
"Okay." Itsuki nodded in understanding.
"You're not going with them, are you?" She asked hoping that he wouldn't.
"No." He answered earning a sigh of relief from the female. "But I am going to tell the higher-ups or whoever in charge about it."
"Good luck with that." Katase scoffed.
"What do you mean?"
"We could tell them about it but it would be pointless." Katase sighed as she looked out the window. "The Student Council won't do anything to punish those three."
"But it's sexual harassment."
"Technically yes, but they haven't done anything physical or said anything verbal towards us. They always converse among themselves and have fantasies for days, the only reason there still here is because my club beats the living daylights out of them all the time but nothing seems to stop them."
"I see. Then this school has terrible managing, if the council is not doing anything stop them then it makes me question their authority here." He commented making Katase laughing.
"Sounds like you should run for governor."
"No, I'd be terrible, politics are not my thing." Itsuki denied.
"I'm just joking with you." Katase said before giving him a smile. "You know you're not such a bad person, normally boys that enroll here are only in for the girls but you seem different from them." She commented before a smirk played on her lips. "Well other than that the fact that your sleep-deprived that is."
"Not funny, but true." He admitted. The bell rung as first break was over as students came and left while others stayed in for the next class. As Itsuki and Katase were about to go separate ways, the latter asked him something.
"Say, do you want hang out with me some time?" She asked earning a confused look from the boy. "I mean you're brand new here and you don't seem like a bad guy."
"Why?" Itsuki asked, he wasn't used to people asking him and he was a little skeptic. "I… I… thank you for the offer but… I do have some business to take care of…" He turned down expecting to see her frown at him but he was given a smile instead.
"Of course, Like I said you're still brand new here so it might've been weird to just hang out with someone you barely know." Katase said while scratching her cheek before placing a hand on her hip. "Still, I would like it if we got to know each other just a little bit."
Itsuki was about to say no but stopped when he remembered Misami's words of how she wanted him to make friends. Hoping this doesn't bite him in the long run, he turned and nodded his head.
"If that's okay with you, then I shall grant it."
"Great, see you around Yurei-chan~" Katase teased while waving bye at him. Itsuki then walked away to his next class, the dread in his stomach growing a bit.
Akeno had decided to follow Itsuki around quietly up to the end of school. She had wanted to talk to him but he was occupied with Katase as she spend the entire first break with him, she knew there was something off about that girl. Other than the normal of her expressing her hate about the perverted trio, she always thought there's something else lying beneath her. She didn't know how or why only the feeling of uneasiness whenever Katase was around, it was the same with Murayama.
So, when she sees the new boy talking with her, she couldn't help but worry. She then decided to wait until lunch had come by since he would come back to the same spot she saw him at. As lunch came by, she waited for at least five minutes until she noticed that he wasn't coming and that made her worry.
'Why am I going so far this boy? I barely know him.' Akeno questioned herself. When she first saw him, she thought there was something familiar about him. His behavior, how detached he was to others around him and quiet, it reminds her of herself when she was younger. The boy's face, she tried to remember where she's seen him but every time she's tried her memory becomes blank as if he never existed or interacted with her.
Now that he was alone, she decided to approach him.
"Hi there." She introduced herself as her eyes met his and she could see some disbelief and slight shock.
"Um… hi.." Itsuki said.
"Might if I talk to you for a bit?"
"Sure." He nodded his head as Akeno made herself comfortable and sat down. "You're the girl from the window yesterday."
"I am. Though I do have a name." She stated as he gave her a blank look and realized what she meant.
"Apologies but I do not know you, nor your name. MY name is Itsuki." He bowed his head as she giggled.
"That's okay, it's nice to meet you Itsuki. I'm quite surprised that you hadn't learn who I was as soon as you got in." Akeno said. She had been watching him from the start but she wanted him to be comfortable around her instead of being closed off. "Most people would've called me Oni-sama on the spot."
'I'm not most people.' He thought to himself.
"Well, my name is Akeno, Akeno Himejima. Pleasure to meet you Itsuki."
"Not to be a rude person but why did you come over here? I'm pretty sure you would have more important things to do or people to hang out with then the social outcast?" Itsuki questioned with Akeno frowning inwardly at how the boy already thought himself of an outcast.
"Well, I wanted to meet my new kouhai that had entered and wanted to make him feel welcome at Kuoh." Akeno answered.
"Oh well thank you but you don't have to do that." Itsuki said as he shook his head.
"Nonsense, I don't mind. You look lonely and i want to change that so first, let me go ahead and give you a tour of the school." She said as she gently grabbed his arm and pulled him up.
"Wait, won't people make a big deal out of it since you're pretty much popular?" Itsuki asked, not wanting to attract attention.
"Yes, but their opinion doesn't matter to me. Only yours does, now come on my cute kouhai." Akeno teased while guiding him as the boy let out a sound of surprise.
'Cute...? I'm cute….?'
Just as Itsuki expected, Akeno took him around the whole school, showing him the fields, to the buildings and where each club resides only leaving out the Student Council and ORC. Other students were making a big fuss of it. The whole time Akeno took him around the school and gave him a tour, students left and right were already making rumors or calling out whether in jealousy or awe at him and Akeno. He didn't like to attract attention, it causes a whole bunch of problems for him later down the road and most of the problems ended up being negative things for him. Well, there was one positive…
Misami would probably have a field day learning that he made one friend and possibly another with a popular girl.
After they were done, Akeno and Itsuki ended up on the roof where they were now viewing the school from above as students wandered around.
"So did you enjoy the tour?" Akeno asked.
"Well, other than the fact that now I'm going to have a few people asking me questions… it wasn't too bad." Itsuki admitted. "It was nice."
"You don't sound like it was." Akeno frowned at his words, though she knew that he was wary of people so maybe he felt uncomfortable.
"It's not that… I'm grateful for you to do that… it's just that other than you and Katase… I really haven't had a friend my age for a long time or one that doesn't pick on me." He explained.
"You were bullied?" Akeno eyes narrowed at that.
"Yeah, pretty much. It's no big deal, it's in the past and nothing has happened here for me yet so I'm fine." Itsuki waved off. Akeno did not like how he said yet, as if he was expecting to happen some time soon.
"Itsuki, it shouldn't be a something to wave off so simple. Did you at least get some help or tell anyone, your parents, a teacher or anyone?" She asked him, only to go into shock at what he said next.
"Nope. My parents left me behind so I've been an orphan since birth, my caretakers weren't any better as they had favoritism over certain kids not to mention let them pick on me both homes so I left and lived on my own up to now. I don't really trust adults, teens are here and there depending on how they look at you and kids are kids they don't know any better and are influenced by adults to encourage they were of thinking and actions." Itsuki explained.
"So no, I didn't have anybody to rely on." He finalized.
"Itsuki, do you feel that same way around me?" She asked.
"Honestly, no." He answered causing her eyes to widen at the answer.
"I don't know why but as soon as I saw you for the first time I didn't feel wary towards you. I felt safe and warm… which it is weird but… I'm not complaining." Itsuki admitted before he looked at the clock at his phone and realized that lunch was almost over.
"Anyway, I need to head back to class. Again, thank you for the tour Akeno-san." Itsuki bowed at her and heading on to his class, Akeno was tempted to speak but stopped when she caught something out of the corner of her eye, as Itsuki turned around he saw his shadow on the wall because of the sun and the shadow had tilted its head in an eerie way while waving it's hand at her before it disappeared once Itsuki went through the door.
Akeno was tempted to investigate but she was still conflicted on the fact that Itsuki was an outcast and bullied because he was different and nothing more. The feeling of being different made her think about her Fallen Angel heritage, and how she hates it due to what happened to her mother. All because she was a hybrid, half fallen angel and human. Feelings of anger and bitter surge through her body until she took a deep breath and calmed down.
Speaking of Fallen Angels, she knew that there were the ones in the church but they haven't made a move since they been here, same could be said for Rias and Sona. Still, someone should sought them out and figure out what they are doing here… while no one wants to reignite another war, they were arrived unannounced. Akeno should ask Rias about it, but she didn't want Itsuki to get involve in the supernatural and end up hurt in the crossfire.
Unknown to her, she would find out that three days later, Itsuki was about to become part of the supernatural.
