Yo, this is my own idea for a sequel to Strikers that replaces Force. Nobody likes Force so i though of something to replace it. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
1 month after the JS incident, Midchilda starts going through another crisis, the Cursed Item Crisis, many cursed items started appearing in Midchilda, they take the form of objects and weapons and are used by regular humans to cause chaos, when the cursed item is destroyed, a demon manifests from it and causes more trouble, and the one using the item is hit by a powerful curse.
The demons tell our heroes that they belong to the Cursed Race, a race of inter-dimensional demons that need, NEED to curse others, or else they get no sustenance and die. Nanoha wants to make peace with them and reach a understanding, but they refuse as there is no way other species would collaborate with monsters like them.
However, when all seemed hopeless, a Robotic Warrior appears in front of Nanoha, offering her his help, his name is Kage (Japanese for Shadow) and he is the master of 3 Cursed Swords.
First we have Cursed Blood, a blood red katana, Blood is hot-headed and loves to joke around, his curse powers let him steal the blood of others.
Cursed Cryo is Kage's second blade, he's a rapier, he's very chill (Heh) and likes peace and quiet, his curse powers let him freeze anything.
Cursed Unlucky is Kage's third blade, she's a Militia Jian Sword, she's very bubbly and
likes attention, her curse let's her absorb one's good luck, leaving her victims unlucky for a few hours.
Kage himself is an enigmatic figure, he resembles a robotic ninja who appears to help our Bureau Mages and Knights whenever they're in trouble, he doesn't talk much but is clearly on the side of good, and wants both humans and curseds to live together in peace, he forms a close bond with Nanoha and Fate due to their shared desires for peace.
When a Curse Demon is defeated, they absorb their human partner and turn giant, requiring Kage to free his partners from their prisons, causing the 3 to assume the form of 3 giant robots with designs based on the Robotaros from Avataro Sentai Donbrothers.
When Kage, Nanoha or another mage enters the cockpit of one of them, the 3 Demon Robots combine into the Giant Robot known as "Cursed Kaiser". Each good cursed takes turns forming the head, the others forming the legs and the arms.
Our Mages don't trust Kage at all, as he just appeared outside Nanoha's and Fate's home one night with 3 powerful cursed items, Teana specially doesn't trust him. But Kage continues to help them in their crusade, eventually earning their trust and friendship.
More Cursed Items are added to Kage's arsenal, they are:
Cursed Pyro and Cursed Hurricane. They're inside a revolver and a chakram respectvely. Pyro acts like a old western cowboy while Hurricane is an adrenaline junkie. Cryo can combine with their Cursed Robot forms to form "Cursed Elemental"
Cursed Fear and Cursed Secrets, they're stuck in a Mirror-Shaped Shield and a Crossbow respectvely. Fear acts like an affeminate aristocrat and Secrets barely pays attention to what's happening around him. Unlucky combines with the 2 to form "Cursed Worryer"
Later, we meet Blood's older sister, Cursed Oblivion, she takes the shape of a buster sword, she is a member of the Greater Cursed Race, a higher cast of Cursed Demons, meaning she is reallt powerful. Her Cursed robot form is the same size as Kage's other 3-component mecha. Meaning she towers over Blood and his friend in their robot forms. Oblivion is brainwashed by the bad guys and is forcefully combined with Nanoha, turning our heroine into a human-cursed demon hybrid.
Kage, the good curses and the mages fight Oblivion Nanoha, eventually forcing her to grow, meaning Kage and Curse Kaiser have to fight her. It's a tough fight but they come out on top and get to 2 to separate. Now that she is free from the bad curses' control, Oblivion combines with her little brother Blood to form "Curse Obliviolence: Blood Mode". With Oblivion robot forming both the head and legs as Blood forms the arms. Nanoha is co-piloting this formation.
With Oblivion's sistely love and Nanoha's maternal love for her friends and family, Kage and Nanoha manage to combine Oblivion with Kage's main 3 weapons. With Oblivion as the head, Blood as the arms, and Cryo and Unlucky as the legs, they become "Oblivion Kaiser"
As the bad guys become more desperate, they summon their supreme leader, the leader of all curses. This requires Kage and our heroes to travel down to the Curses' home world to awaken their messianic figure, the Golden Devil, the one responsible for turning Kage into a robotic being. Human Kage was dying from using 3 cursed weapons at once, the Golden Devil appeared before him and offered him his help, Kage accepted and the Devil turned him into a robotic fighter.
After awakening, the Golden Devil becomes Cursed Devil, his devil robot form can change from a Dragon into humanoid Robot. Kage and our heroic mages gain super forms from Devil.
Devil can join all of Kage's cursed items together to form the Emperor of Curses, Curse Kaiser Lucifer. Oblivion binds around Blood, forming large shoulders with Blood as the core. Pyro and Cryo form the left and right arms, gold forming fists. Fear and Secret form the lower torso and thighs, locking below the torso before a gold chestplate locks it together. Hurricane and Luck form the left and right legs, gold solidifying as feet. a golden helmet forms atop.
This legendary pilot is piloted by all of our heroes during the final battle.
For Kage's relationships with the canon characters, i though of a few.
Nanoha and Fate: Kage's closest friends besides his cursed weapons, the 2 found found Kage and his blades outside their home when he crashed outside of it, they offered them shelter and a chance to explain themselves. Kage is very grateful towards the 2 and risked his life to save Nanoha from her forced fusion with Oblivion. Nanoha and Fate don't hold it against Oblivion when the latter was forcefully fused with Nanoha, knowing that the demon was being brainwashed.
Signum: Kage's other close friend, they bonded over their shared love for swords and fighting, Sig had sparring session with Kage and realized he was a noble warrior like her, however she doesn't like his weapons, according to her, they don't act noble, like a hero should, but they do earn her respect as the series goes on. She usually can't stand being around Oblivion due to her bad memories of a possesed Nanoha. She does comes around to forgiving Oblivion after talking to Kage.
Vita: Vita is very distrustful of Kage and his weapons, she specially doesn't like Blood because he keeps calling her midget, then again she keeps insulting him so it's essentially payback. Vita doesn't like Nanoha hanging out with Kage and the weapons and comes off as possesive of Nanoha due to this. However, after Kage and his weapons protect her even after her treatment of them, she starts befrieding them. However she regresses to hating them after she almost loses Nanoha to Oblivion, it takes both Nanoha and Hayate explaining to her that Oblivion was brainwashed and forced to do it. Vita has a crying session with the 2 and forgives the robot and his weapons.
Hayate: Being the nerd that she is, Hayate gushes over Hayate and the weapons due to them acting like Tokusatsu heroes, however she still keeps a healthy distance from the weapons, since they're cursed and she doesn't want another Book of darkness incident, but as they work together with them, they become closer companions.
Shamal: She doesn't look forward dealing to the weapons, because they always cause trouble to other personel and she has to treat them, apparently some bureau mages though it was a good idea to grab a hold of the swords without their or Kage's permission and they got cursed. As time goes on Shamal becomes friends with Unlucky and starts warming up to Kage and the weapons, she however doesn't like Oblivion due to draining some Nanoha's life force during their forced fusion, as Shamal almost failed to save her friend. But forgives her after doing some thinking and realizing it was not her fault.
Yuuno: Yuuno is always trying to ask Kage and his weapons questions about their origins and their lives, but he comes off as annoying to them while doing so, this leads to Blood and the other weapons to dunk on him when the opportunities arises, however Kage stands up for him and tells the weapons to behave, Yuuno is thankful to Kage for doing so.
Chrono: Chrono doesn't mind Kage but can't stand his weapons, Blood keeps calling him "Edgy Isekai Protagonist", Cryo calls him unelagant and doesn't like his sense of style, and Unlucky keeps sucking off his good luck by accident. This makes him the second most prone to snapping at them for them behavior, losing only to Vita when it comes to arguing with the weapons.
