"That Madara… he's really strong." Reina sat on a massive tree stump with her brothers. "It's admirable, how much love he fights with."

"Don't go falling for the enemy." Tobirama hissed. "He killed our brothers."

"And we killed his…" Reina stood up and stretched. "He's almost invincible. I know he could take down Hashirama if he truly wanted to, but he loves you, Hashirama."

Hashirama's breath hitched in his throat. "I'm not sure." He shook his head. "It's so hard to reach him- I-"

"You don't understand." Reina smiled. "He's hard to get through because he's hurting so much… he's hurting so much, because he cares so deeply that it pains him." She yawned and admired the golden sunset peaking through the trees. "I hope that lets you see his guts a little more."

Tobirama waved his hand. "Tsk! Whatever. Reina, stop spouting nonsense and go pick herbs before sundown. We need medical supplies and poison as well."

Reina sighed and jumped down from her perch. "On it."

Hashirama and Tobirama were sitting in their makeshift home in their sad excuse of a clan compound sipping tea.

"It's late," Tobirama muttered. "Normally she'd be back by now."

Hashirama nodded. "Let's go check on her. I'm growing concerned."

"Well well well, if it isn't the a Senju girl."

"She sure is beautiful too."

"Just what is a lady like you doing out here so late?" The group of shinobi men called to her.

They had a logo of a square with a line going through it. Reina instantly realized she was dealing with brutish ritualists. "Shit!" She gritted her teeth, looking around her. "Seven… eight… thirteen…. Twenty-three… I'm heavily outnumbered!" Thunder rumbled as the men drew closer.

"Come on, girlie! Cat got your tongue?" They chuckled.

"Don't worry, sweetheart… we're not gonna kill you. We're just gonna torture you and keep you in a cage." The man who spoke grinned.

"I-I don't wanna hurt you," Reina spoke softly.

"You?! Do you really think a tiny girl like you could take us on?!" The man asked with deranged eyes. "She's rich!" He laughed from his belly, the surrounding clan members chuckling with him. "Tell you what. You got me in a good mood. We won't hurt you if you cooperate."

"Listen to them!"

Reina hesitated as the men began approaching her. "Stay back!" She roared. Just as she got into a fighting stance, she could feel something pierce her neck. She lifted her hand to feel the object protruding from her neck. Reina's breath shook as she yanked it out, peering down at the dart in her hand.

Her world became dizzy as if she were floating. Reina screamed and released a massive wave of chakra. The enemy clan groaned as they guarded themselves from the incredible high speeds of wind forming a tornado around her. The wind cut and sliced them as it expanded. Within her windy shield, Reina weaved hand signs for a lightning-style jutsu. She raised her hand and smacked it on the ground.

"AAAAAH!" The shinobi yelled as a swath of them were struck by lightning. The few lucky earth users of the clansmen hid underground or made domes to protect them.

Reina panted, noting that she wiped out most of them before collapsing to the ground.

Reina slowly opened her eyes, her world blurry and tilting every which way as she grew conscious. She slowly sat up but quickly hit her head. Reina gasped and groggily looked up to see a metal ceiling. It was then that Reina realized she was locked in a cage; wrists and ankles bound together.

"Ah, she's waking up." A gruff man with black, slick back hair, piercing gold eyes, and a scar going down the entire right side of his face strolled over to her. "Hey, kid."

Reina looked up at him and leaned her face in between the bars. "Who are you?" She softly called.

"I'm Orochi Miyashita. Pleased to meet you." He gave a soft smile and crouched down. "You're going to be our next sacrifice." He exhaled and smirked. "And judging by the display you put on for my clansmen, you'll be just what we need for a little… power boost." He chuckled. "You're… valuable."

Reina spat on the man's face. "You and your people will regret this."

The man's mouth opened as his eyes closed with pure disgust, insulted by her actions. "You little shit…" He snickered. "Oooh, you've done it now." He turned around and faced his clansmen. "Torture her and keep her alive. I don't care what you do. Rape her, cut her, beat her, break her bones. Reduce her to nothing." Orochi turned to face her with a wicked grin. "No one is coming to save you." The man strolled towards two little boys standing in the shadows. "Now, watch what happens to bad people."

Reina smirked. "I-... don't need anyone to save me." She began laughing uncontrollably, screaming and wheezing as the clansmen came closer to her. "You're all gonna die!" She said with a deranged expression.

"Shut the hell up! What can a pip-squeak like you do except become our little whore?!" A man kicked the cage before bending down, nearing the cage. "You think you can-!"

Reina lunged forward and bit the man's throat, sinking her teeth in before yanking back. She chuckled with a guttural, demonic gurgle.

"AAAAAAAAH!" The man clutched his neck as he began bleeding out.

"Why you little-!" One of the clansmen yelled, but it was too late.

A purple chakra enveloped Reina as she roared, breaking the cage. In a flash, she lept onto another shinobi, biting him and swallowing his flesh while sucking the chakra out of him. "AAAAAAH!" She screamed while flying through the air, tearing through the shinobi and cannibalising their bodies.

"R-R-REATREAT!" Orochi screeched as Reina came flying towards him.

Orochi spun around and pushed the two boys away. "Arata, Nao! Go and live on! Capture this girl and use her-!"

A young boy with dark hair and green eyes looked up at his father with dismay. "Yes! But what about you, father?!"

Nao shook his head and grabbed Arata's hand. "We need to go." He yanked on his brother before they entered a full-on sprint.

Orochi spun around and Reina was nowhere to be found. "What, where did she-?" He looked up to see Reina inches from his face. "AAAAAH!"

Arata gasped and yelled. "FATHER!"

Nao yanked on his brother. "Come on… He said monotonously. It's what he deserves."

Arata ripped his hand from his brother. "How can you say that?! Father is dead!"

"Father was an awful man who beat us. He was arrogant!" Nao yelled. "You heard him! He said to watch and see what happens and see what happens to bad people. Well, we just did!"

Arata stopped dead in his tracks, thinking about his life trauma, good versus bad, what was right and wrong, and began clutching his head. He screamed, "Aaaaah! STOP IT! STOP! MAKE IT STOOOP!" He cried while having a mental breakdown.

Nao gritted his teeth. "Fuck this! If are so torn then strive for a peaceful world no matter what the cost. But now, if we don't leave, we'll die by the hands of her! Let's go!"

Arata froze in place. "Peace? I-" He turned around to see Reina, standing there, watching them. It was as if the girl who was in the cage was long gone. Something sinister had replaced her.

Reina slowly lifted her head before saying, "Run."

Arata was glued to his spot. "So… so powerful…" His took in a shuddery breath. "She's… she's the key to- Ah!"

Nao knocked his brother out and scooped him up. "Now's not the time." He said before bolting off.

Reina held her head, alone in the bloody forest clearing. She held her head and sauntered before collapsing onto the bloodstained ground.

"Reina!" A voice called from the woods.

"REINA!" Hashirama and Tobirama came to the forest clearing and gasped.

"Oh… Reina…" Hashirama shuttered. "Did you do this?"

Tobirama had a look of shock on his face. "She… killed and ate them."

A deep, feminine voice erupted from her throat. "I was just… so hungry for some juicy fruit." She chuckled.

Hashirama readied himself. "Tobirama… we need to take her down."

Tobirama nodded. "Right."

Arata cooed. "Reina… I'm growing impatient. I just want to end this. Why don't we-"

"SHUT UP!" Reina roared. "Just, shut up!" She snapped her head to glare up at him. "Yes, my clan is one I could care less for at this point… Yes, my husband tried using me, just like you… but do you want to know what the difference between you and him is?"

Arata tilted his head with narrowed eyes. "What's that?"

Reina gritted her teeth, scrunching her face. "MADARA HAS MADE AMENDS AND ACTUALLY LOVES ME! HE'S NOT MY CAPTOR BUT MY TEAMMATE! AND I WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE HIM AND THOSE HE HOLDS DEAR!"

Arata's eyes widened. "No…"

Reina turned her head to face Madara. "Cradle your arms!" Madara did as told. Reina turned on her Rinnegan and in an instant, swapped places with Kagami.

Madara looked down in shock as Kagami lay softly in his arms. "Kagami! Oh, baby!"

"Want me to take him back to Mito so you can be with your wife?"

Madara snapped to his right to see none other than Sasuke Sarutobi. "Sasuke! Please!" He passed off the baby to the gruff man. "Please protect him."

Sasuke gratefully took the baby. "Don't you worry. Kagami and Hiruzen will be safe together." WIth that, he disappeared.

Just as Reina flashed into Nao's arms, she spun and punched him sending him flying down the road. "That's for lying to me, and more than anything, TOUCHING OUR BABY!"

Arata gasped. "Nao!"

Madara engaged with Susano'o and attacked Arata. Arata dodged, but was quickly caught by Hashirama's wood style.

Tobirama ran over to help Reina and teleported next to Nao, kicking him into the air. Nao's eyes widened as he sailed through the air. He weaved hand signs for a lightning style and launched an electric spear toward Tobirama. He kept shooting one after another, as if in an endless cycle. Tobirama dodged, doing backflips to get away.

Reina used her Rinnegan to pull Nao toward her, a bone protruding from her hand to stab. Nao tried to move but couldn't, falling straight onto her bone spear. He coughed up blood, but kicked Reina in the stomach, sending her flying back and simultaneously dislodging him from her bone.

Nao placed a hand enveloped in green glowing chakra to heal himself. "Wow, never would I have thought that you would stab me."

Reina looked up at him with dismay. "I- I loved you. You betrayed me… you're nothing to me." She cried. "Why are you following your dumb brother's plan anyway?! This makes no sense!"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU DAMN IT!" Nao roared. "Do you HONESTLY think that if I strolled into the Hidden Leaf wanting peace and love, that it would be enough to make you mine?! THINK ABOUT IT, REINA!" He clenched his fists. "There is only one way to have you, and it's to take you and make you mine."

"Water Style: Water Fang Bullet!" Tobirama yelled and shot massive water projectiles at Nao.

Nao dodged them with ease before weaving another hand sign for lightning style. As he was about to attack, he heard Arata yell from across the way. He snapped his head and watched as Madara joined with Hashirama and Madara. Arata was being pulled in by Reina's rinnegan while Madara sliced him in half with a scythe and Hashirama skewered him with a sword.

Nao's eyes widened with shock and remorse. "Arata…" He sighed.

Tobirama held a kunai to Nao's neck. "Any last words? Or maybe I'll keep you alive for intel?"

"There's no point. You know everything already." Nao shook his head. "I don't care that he's dead. We are both bad people…" He shrugged his shoulders. "I just wanted to be with Reina… But more than anything, I just wanted to make sure she was safe," He chuckled to himself as everyone began walking over to him. "I knew it was a far-fetched dream to be with Reina, but I'm happy she has someone like Madara to protect her." He sighed and watched as the sun began to rise. "I just… wanted to do anything to even pretend my life was normal… I thought by having the woman I loved near me at all times that it would be possible." He closed his eyes and took in the scent of dawn. "My clan was brutish and deserves to be wiped out like soooo many others. I've been anxiously awaiting my demise. Just playing along to maybe, just maybe see if I had a chance of getting what I wanted." He smiled. "I never liked my clan, but the Ashikaga gave me life, though they were never forever."

"We could have been."

Reina looked behind Nao to see a familiar face. "H-Han."

"I knew a storm was brewing when you came to visit me…" He smiled and walked towards Reina. "I'm sorry about all that's transpired. The Ashikaga clan has come to give the Hidden Leaf aid. All of the Miyashita clan is dead."

Hashirama raised a brow. "Who filled you in?"

"An ANBU I ran into in the forest. I heard about the Hidden Leaf and sent a message back to my clan compound. When I came here, Lady Mito and Sasuke Sarutobi filled me in." Han sighed and turned around to face Nao. He crouched down and looked the man in the eyes. "Nao… you were like a brother to me… but you harmed someone I care about and lied to me and my family."

Nao nodded. "I know. I told your parents I had to resume as clan head… but the truth was, I just had to resume my miserable life."

Han looked at Tobirama. "Drop your weapon."

"Hmph." Tobirama reluctantly did as told.

Han sighed. "Nao." He pointed a sword at his chest. "You didn't have to do anything. You chose this path. Whether the outcome was better for you or mankind, look at how much peril lies in your wake."

Nao looked Han in the eyes. "You're right. Please… it would be an honor to die by your hand." He gazed up at Reina. "But, Reina… I must ask you one thing before I go."

Reina nodded with a stern expression, but soft eyes. "Yeah… what's that?"

Nao softened his gaze. "Did you ever love me?"

Reina nodded. "Of course… and I don't regret it either. It taught me a lot and it got me through a hard time. Life with all of you did."

Nao directed his attention to Han. "And you?"

Tears streamed down Han's stern face. "With all my heart… and I still love you."

Nao smiled. "I love you too." His eyes widened as Han's sword plunged through his heart. Blood trickled down his mouth as his body slumped forward. Han removed his blade, and Nao's body fell to the ground.

The sun rose over the Hidden Leaf village and the Miyashita clan was no more.
