Chapter 20 Invasion Start!

Kakashi POV

Watching Shikamaru's absolute level up from what he was a month ago and realizing that he only matched Lee while he was weightless but I could see he could go faster so watching as he beat on Gaara for a couple of minutes until Genma swapped where his Senbon was in his mouth was when multiple Shinobi of every village got up and in a reverse Ambush all of our troops that where trying to play civilian were killed almost instantly while a Genjutsu to make the normal civilians to sleep which caught Naruto as he slept the time away as I had to wake him up.

"Naruto wake up." Dispelling the Genjutsu he woke up and Sasuke looked around them trying to see if any ninja was coming for them.

"What Kakashi-Sensei what's going on." Naruto said a bit sleepy so he turned to Sasuke who was next to him and Sakura who was flanking there right to protect them at that side.

"The Invasion Naruto and Sasuke, Sakura." They both turn to me quickly giving me there full attention as I turn to the side and see the three sand genin leave with the jinchuriki with them with Shikamaru going to them as planned as even Shikamaru killed a Jonin right there and then.

"Sakura, Sasuke this is a A-Rank mission to back up Shikamaru and follow him and so do you Naruto!" I said as Naruto jumped up feeling his energy gained back as I bit my thumb and used the Summoning Jutsu to bring a ninja hound specifically "Pakkun I need your help."

The dog spawned from the smoke and raised his head to me giving me his full attention.

"Could you follow this scent." I said as I was given a piece of Shikamaru's clothes as I had the Ninja hound summon.

"Got it." Pakkun said as both Sasuke and Sakura looked shocked at the talking dog but I paid no mind to it.

"Hey my names Naruto you're names Pakkun right." Naruto said introducing himself to Pakkun.

"Yea it's nice to meet you too Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura right." Pakkun said as Sasuke and Sakura merely nodded there heads.

"Well we need to go." Pakkun said as two people dropped from the stands above being Choji and Ino.

"Do you mind if we join." They both said and I nodded in confirmation as they would be better on this mission.

"Go" I said as I went and clashed with a ninja ready to slash at a comrade as I pushed him back with a kick before another one came from the side as I quickly slashed at his neck as he grabbed at it and he collapsed dead.

"We're coming for you Shikamaru."

"Shikamaru" POV

I chased after them and if it weren't for me trying to pace myself then I wouldn't be far behind Gaara but I wanted to go far away before our battle as any Ninja from the sound or sand would interfere with it. I look around as I felt the need to maybe slow down maybe team 7 would be here I didn't know when they would get here but at this point I don't know if I could win against them. I know I just instantly murdered the shit out of Baki though it's because he didn't know what I could do and now everyone knows I could end there lives like that so they won't fall for anything regarding my Shadow so it was almost a no-go with my shadow.

I saw them as they looked back at me with some surprise, terror and anger as there teacher just died and his last dying wish was to complete the mission.

We continued on to rush as I see Kankuro start to unwrap Crow from its binding s as he begins to slow but I don't really choose to wait as I quickly pass him in a burst of speed.

"You bastard!" Was all I heard as I went back to normal speed.

Kankuro wanted to quickly run back to get that kid but he was stopped when a boy covered with bugs came at him. "Annoying brats!" He sneered

Though passing him quickly was a group of 5 genin that where in the Chunin exams he couldn't stop as they went into the direction of Gaara and Temari.

Reaching a nice place still in the village but it was in one of the many Forest of the Village I rush and tackle Gaara as sand started to take over his arm as I managed to rebound off a trunk of a tree pushing myself off though Gaara wasn't so luckily as he crashed through one entirely. Temari stopped and went to check on her brother as he quickly stood up staring at me.

"T-Temari…back away…I-I don't want to hurt you…" Gaara said as he looked angrily at me as people jumped next to me.

It was Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto, Ino and Choji oh Pakkun's here too.

"I advice you stop I don't want to hurt you guys anymore." I say as first they just stare at me before Temari shouted at me. "You killed our Sensei!" She screamed as she went for her fan but an enlarged arm stopped her.

Gaara who's second arm started to get transformed stopped her as even his face was looking more and more like Shukaku. "I've got them Temari just get to a safe place." He said and finally Temari nodded jumping away from Gaara as Naruto bit his finger and formed a couple hand signs.

"Summoning Jutsu' he yelled only to summon a small toad it was Gamakichi. "Hey wata am I doing here." Gamakichi said as Gaara aimed sand shuriken at the group and while I grabbed Pakkun, Naruto grabbed Gamakichi quickly and jumped away.

"Thanks kid." Pakkun said when we hit a branch and we looked to Gaara as I overheard Naruto talking with Gamakichi.

I look to the side to see Naruto make a shadow clone right before the shuriken hit his clone only to transform into a giant steel shelf embedded in the branch.

'W-what the hell!?' I questioned as I looked back at Gaara to see him angered as he wiggled his tail to slap me to the right and me and Pakkun who resided on my shoulder jumped up and started to run on the sand arm and jump again when he made spikes as I perform over some handsigns very very slowly and use this jutsu really clumsily. This was a serious risk as I only seen this Jutsu used a couple of times by Asuma-Sensei.

"Fire Style: Ash Pile Burning!" I yelled as a little amount of ash was shot at Gaara engulfing him as Sasuke used his own Fire Jutsu.

"Fire Style: Great Fire Dragon Jutsu." He said as he expelled a giant Dragon shaped flame to Gaara as it was coming towards him but the ash quickly was pushed back by winds coming from the fan of Temari using her own jutsu.

As the fire dragon grew in size and hit the Ash. "It's going to Blow!" Choji said as the they both collided sending a great explosion sending everyone into a tree having seen and felt the explosion.

I got up groggy as I protected Pakkun by throwing myself in front of him as I looked over at my semi charred back as I turn laying on the charging as I flinch at the pain and roll over and lifting my self up.

I gritted my teeth at the pain of the burns as Gaara was about to finish his transformation but the sand rolling off him was slowing him down.

"Naruto you might want to summon a bigger toad…about now!" I yelled as I grabbed Pakkun and avoiding a "Wind Scythe" from a slightly Charred Temari. "Dammit" she said as she looked at me and I look back at her quickly I look back to Naruto and land on the branch he was on as all the people here were only slightly burnt and not as close as I was as they were already back on there feet.

Ino meanwhile picked at her pouch and grabbed a couple of Senbon with colored tips as sending multiple of them to retaliate against Temari as she dodged the most of them before one scratched her cheek as she started to struggle stand up.

Paralysis Poison' Temari thought as my exploded to Naruto.

"He's going full Bijuu Naruto." I said as Naruto does the hand seals for the summoning just as Shukaku formed from some smoke and fallen trees.

"Group up." I said as I held my hand out for Gamakichi to jump on my other shoulder that didn't hold Pakkun as Naruto slammed his hand on the ground as a sealing array popped up as he screamed his Jutsu.

"Summoning Jutsu"

Standing on a massive toad as I planted my feet firmly on the toad's head as I saw Sakura and Sasuke trying to grasp there shock as they look over to me then at Naruto.

"Oi brat why did you summon me here?" Gamabunta seemed uninterested and to be honest fighting is what he's meant to do but hey fighting a tailed beast is a part of the job even if it's stupid. We stare at the Shukaku staring back at us with an empty gaze as what seems like a little blob comes from the sand making it like it's Gaara.

"Ok c'mon boss I really need your help look at that guy!" Naruto screamed as he pointed at Shukaku as Gamabunta took a look himself.

"Shukaku…the sand spirit huh." Gamabunta said as he still looked uninterested.

"Cmon pops could you help these guys they seem pretty cool kinda like this guy." Gamakichi said as he patted me by my head and jumped on Naruto's head as well.

"Gamakichi you're here too…hmm what did I tell you." Gamabunta was about to scold Gamakichi but Gamakichi stopped him first.

"Well I wanted to see the outside world soo I got summoned here and now that guy hurt me and I met some people." Gamakichi said as Gaara finally stopped moving as half his body was out.

"He hurt you…here kid I'll allow you to summon me and after this we're getting a drink preferably Sake" Gamabunta said as he took out his sword. I saw Naruto wanting to say he was underaged but then I remember that we are considering adults and we could smoke and probably drink though it would be not that easy to buy them as there not really handing out alcohol to kids.

"Ugh what is this battle turning into." Pakkun said as he looked at Shukaku and looked at Gamabunta.

"You and me both." I said as I turn my head just to see Pakkun agree.

"Oh My God.." Ino said covering her mouth with her fingers as Sakura stood next to her looking mostly at the transformed Gaara.

'Is this why…Gaara is treated like…Naruto' Sakura's eyes slightly widen as she looked at Naruto talking with the giant toad.

"This battle quickly escalated." Sasuke said as he looked on with his now fully matured Sharingan seeing the amount of Chakra this beast had or Tailed Beast judging by the tail swinging from side to side.

"Geez this is going to be long isn't it…" I sigh as we or more like Gamabunta moved as the some of us that weren't prepared almost fell off the toad but I got my beating my self as I saw Sakura and Sasuke grabbing hold of each other to keep standing.

"Playing Possum Jutsu" Gaara said quietly as the toad started to run at him.

"I'm finally free and I'm going to destroy this entire Village!" Shukaku said as it got ready for the battle with Gamabunta.

"This is so Troublesome!"

Chunin Exams Arena

Standing off against the Two Hokage of the first and second, Hashirama and Tobirama Senju as Tobirama showed in this skirmish of his mastery over water style Justus as manipulating the air to make water was a definite Kage level feat. But Hashirama wasn't behind but only ahead of him by his Wood style being able to take Chakra as a nasty result of it being Haku getting some of her Chakra taken from her as she sat on the back foot as the six Kage level Shinobi stared down at each other.

Orochimaru had used a jutsu made by the Second Hokage or Tobirama himself to divide the dead if there DNA still lived today and with that he only managed to make the first two Kage as the third coffin of Madara Uchiha was destroyed before being summoned by Hiruzen and Jiraiya who were old teammates of the Rouge Ninja once.

"Sarutobi-Sensei today at the Chunin Exams will be your grave." Orochimaru said as he went through more handsigns to get the two Hokage into a fighting stance.

Hiruzen meanwhile but his finger and weaving handsigns himself called out his jutsu. "Summoning Jutsu" the old man yelled as a Monkey above the old man's size appears being the Monkey King Enma.

Jiraiya meanwhile took his time analyzing the Jutsu and meanwhile going through multiple ideas on a way to stop this justu and a multitude of ideas had sprung up.

'One would be to kill Orochimaru himself to stop the Jutsu.' If Jiraiya was being honest he still even swearing to kill Orochima still had a bit of trouble stomaching that this was what his previous teammate had become.

'Second would be to seal the Hokage individually but that would need us to isolate one and block Orochimaru's view plus I would need to draw a seal just for the two of them.' Jiraiya though as he saw with everyone but the Reanimated Kage the Giant Shukaku being formed.

"Hahaha this is where this village is destro-" Orochimaru stopped when he saw a giant toad he recognized as Gamabunta was Summoned staring down at the Tailed Beast.

"But…you have the toad contract…to the Kyuubi brat!" Orochimaru sneered as he turned back as Orochimaru signaled with his hands seals for the Hokage to charge at the other three.

Mei the newly made Mizukage never though she would be able to fight against two of the strongest Shinobi not only known to the leaf but one with a stronger elemental release then her own it made her a bit salty but she looked at Haku who had been sucked of Chakra by Hashirama's many wood stakes.

"Haku stay back we've got this." Mei signaled by holding her hand out as Baku wanted to protest but in the end couldn't go against her leaders orders.

Orochimaru gritted his teeth at the seen not only has he had to fight against Hiruzen but Jiraiya and the newly mad Mizukage in a match where it should have been the Hokage and imposter Kazekage.

Not only that but this invasion was turning into a disaster quickly with the slaughtering of his troops mainly and the incapacitated Sand Ninja…mainly as he looked on ag the beginning of the invasion to see all his Shinobi that were disguised as normal people die almost instantly by Mist Shinobi that shouldn't even be here.

From his recent info they taken home to the Land of Waves which although not very far from the leaf shouldn't have even been noticed as they were there for some months and hadn't caused any disturbances. But now they not only seemed to be Allie's but they seemed to know everything about this Invasion. Orochimaru glared in anger at the opposing forces at all the wasted resources used just for this to crumble right in front of his face with him not being able to do anything to change it. Soon the barrier dropped just as he was glaring as his attention returned back to his surroundings. 'How did it drop!? Wait did they kill one of the Sound 4!?' Again a squad of Anbu followed by Asuma Sarutobi the son of the 3 Hokage threw a wind enfused kunai at him as he dodged the attack letting the reainimation go as he jump the other way trying to flee the battle now that it seemed even more hopeless than before.

'Damn you I will have all your head on a silver platter!' Orochimaru though furiously as he saw the rest of the Sound four other then Jirobo run at his side followed later by Kabuto and the rest of his sound Shinobi troops that spotted him as they deserted the rest of the Shinobi's left.

"Mei are you alright." Asuma said as he jumped towards her side quickly as the Anbu he went with quickly check on the Hokage who had dispelled Enma after knowing Orochimaru wouldn't appear any longer.

"Sensei you truly do need a replacement." Jiraiya said worried over his old Sensei it wasn't fair that his Sensei hasn't had the ability to properly retire and spending time with his children and Grandchildren.

"Heh heh maybe you're just right…Jiraiya." Hiruzen said as Jiraiya looked shocked but then quickly declined the offer though he tried doing it respectfully.

"Um no Sensei I still need to be able to run my Spy network and you know that." Jiraiya said as he looked down at his Sensei's eyes.

"Then who?" Hiruzen said as everyone on the roof listens to Jiraiya.

"Tsunade-Chan."

After avoiding a slash from a sand Chunin Kakashi swiftly knocked the man out as he looked at his rival taking out another ninja and being from the sand he didn't end there life but only incapacitated them. They were given orders by the Hokage to try not to end all the lives of the Sand Shinobi they came across as it was reported that Orochimaru had killed the Kazekage and pretending to be the Kazekage so they could use all of the Sand's might with the sound witch didn't get the same authorized order to keep alive.

"My rival Kakashi how many people have you defeated!" Guy said as he looked on at Kakashi as he quickly took down another Shinobi being careful not to kill them in the process.

"56" Kakashi simply said as Guy laughed and took another Shinobi down with a quick strikes with his fists as the sand nin quickly collapsed.

"56 myself it seems we tied again what would that make the score again." Guy asked as he now was in a thinking pose.

" 25 wins for the both of us and 37 ties Guy." Kakashi said absentmindedly as he checked around the stadium and found no one that wasn't asleep or an ally attacking them which was none at this point all enemy Shinobi had left with or without there master Orochimaru. Or were dead on the cold ground. It was then a huge poof of smoke came from the direction of where his students direction to see the fully manifested Shukaku as Kakashi and Gay stared in eye at his ginormous stature as another puff of smoke came as a giant toad came out of the smoke equally as giant as the Tailed Beast himself.

"What is that fight turning into." Guy said as both Jonin look onwards as the road begins to Charge at the Sand Beast.

"Kakashi, Guy you're needed to help collect all unconscious Sand Shinobi and put them in cells." A Anbu member coming into view from above as they grabbed as many as they could and wrapped them up eapecially well as they where shown cages for the Sand Nin's.

"Ugh the clean up job for this is going to take some time." Kakashi said as he looked at all the sand nin he could see in his view though Guy just continued to truck through.

"Cmon my eternal rival unless you want to call defeat against the Leaf's noble blue beast!" Guy said with his open smile that seemed to reflect there sunlight of his white teeth. Kakashi used a hand to block the sunlight as underneath his mask he smiled a degree higher.

"Alright Guy."

All Over the Hidden Leaf Village

Currently Shikaku Nara father of Nara Shikamaru with Inoichi and Choza at his side barreling into multiple sand Shinobi as they continue to appear as with the order to kill the least amount being sent out of suspicion of the Sand betraying the leaf or being controlled by Orochimaru in order for the Hokage head and the Uchiha. All Shinobi's at a Chunin rank or higher were told and when Jiraiya the Sannin asked to be the Hokage's bodyguard it came no surprise that the man he trained would be picked but he was currently one of the strongest Shinobi that currently resides in the village.

Having used his shadows to choke the breath of multiple enemies while Choza enlarging his fist with Inoichi battling with him the began to see that less Shinobi were going at there direction as a multitude of Shinobi were seen fleeing from battle and it wasn't any perplexed Shikaku knew.

Biting his lip Shikaku turned to his teammates as they too looked at the fleeing Shinobi as a gigantic poof of smoke appeared showing what they were warned about.

Shukaku the Sand Spirit or otherwise known as The One tails. Soon enough there was another large poof of smoke as a giant Toad appeared from the disappearing smoke. "Jiraiya-Sama…but why is he fighting the Jinchuriki…unless." Shikaku figured the last part in his head that this must be Uzumaki Naruto having been known to be seen with the Toad Sage in the last month.

"Wait is that Ino, Choji and Shikamaru on top." Inoichi yelled as he saw his baby girl just about to go into battle with a Tailed Beast.

At hearing both the names of there Boys Choza and Shikaku looked on in one could tell would be one of shock and worriedly of only a parent could make.

"No!" Choza yelled as he went to make a run to the gigantic battle until he was stopped by a shadow.

"Shikaku we don't have time for this we need to help them there our Children." Choza cried out to his teammate. Shikaku only sighed he wanted to get as well with his old friend but knew in a battle of this caliber they would only be getting in there way even if Choza where to begin using the pills and butterfly mode maybe but that would put Choza in too much risk.

"Choza I know…I want to go too I want to take Shikamaru and hide him away if I had the chance but I can't and we can't intervene or else we would be a distraction to the ones on the Toad being Shikamaru, Ino and Choji with Naruto and what seems like to be the Uchiha and there teammate." Shikaku said it but wanted to take back his words and want to rush over himself but everyone would yell at him even his own son and himself even if he survived.

'Don't die my son…I trained as well as I can maybe I should do more…I trust you won't die Shikamaru not for just me but for your mother or for your friends I know you would never forgive yourself if you died.' Shikaku smiled at the thoughts of his son.

Yes he felt the immediate change of his son when they were assigned into there teams and it wasn't a surprise Shikamaru was assigned into a team with the new and current heirs of both the Akimichi and Yamanaka clans Ino and Choji but when he heard that Shikamaru had been hurt during his test and then informed actually later by Asuma he felt something for his son he felt proud.

Shikaku let out a dry chuckle at the thoughts as he gave one last look at the fight between the two giant animals? Well it didn't matter he knew one thing would happen. 'Make me feel proud to be your father Shika or else your mother would have her way with me.' Again with a small chuckle.
