...Admittedly, I've workshopped these.

Coming soon (at some point) to FanFiction-dot-net's Crossover Archive...

First up, inspired by an underrated John Candy picture:

The hero...is a fictionalized version of one Hideaki Anno, lead writer/director/co-creator of a popular, revolutionary Japanese anime series called Neon Genesis Evangelion. The setup...is the development and production of the second half of the soon-to-be iconic anime. Anno, consumed by his work, is deep down still reeling from the troubles that surrounded the decline of his last series, Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. In an alternate turn of events, after being urged by friends and coworkers to take a needed vacation, he becomes involved in an accidental car crash. Anno later awakens in a hospital...located in Tokyo-3, the primary setting of Evangelion! Incredulous at first, Anno soon discovers that he can control the events of this world by merely writing them. Soon enough, he uses his newfound power to tell the story he wants. The only question is...what exact story will he want to tell...? Find out in "Super-Wackos of EVA: NERV Gets Delirious"!

Next up:

For Misato Katsuragi, one would think leading humankind's last defense against the otherworldly creatures codenamed Angels-as well as taking care of the teenagers doing the actual fighting-would be enough. Then again, she never expected to meet the literal voice of God when Metatron turns up in her apartment one day and charges her with the task of saving all of creation from the misguided efforts of two actual fallen angels to get back into Heaven, which would destroy the universe in the process. Not making things any easier is Metatron's revelation that Misato is the Last Scion, so it's not like she's got a choice in the matter. Forget Third Impact-Major Katsuragi's now got bigger things to worry about! Thankfully, she won't be alone in her task, as she finds herself aided by not only Rufus (the 13th apostle) and Serendipity (the Muse of creative inspiration), but also the unlikeliest of protectors...and the least likeliest of prophets: a couple of American drug-dealing stoners named Jay and Silent Bob.

What happens when two sets of Angels clash? Who will win the race for annihilation-SEELE, Gendo Ikari, or Azrael? What happens when a blue-haired Nephilim girl is exposed to both New Jersey-brand crassness and weed-scented wisdom? And will Shinji be able to make a quick stop on the way to get all the right ingredients for dinner?

Then:

When Sub-Commander Fuyutsuki is abducted following the defeat of the 14th Angel, instead of Ryoji Kaji (who may or may not have done the abducting in the first place) going after him, Gendo Ikari detains both him and Misato for questioning, and instead hires the world's best (that is, best-priced) detective agency, headed by a temperamental, bespectacled waterfowl and his more cool and sensible porcine partner. Will Eric T. Duckman and Cornfed Pig crack the case and rescue the sub-commander? Will it be enough to throw SEELE off-guard? And will the Children of NERV be left unscathed after becoming acquainted with those selfsame detectives?

…What the hell are YOU staring at?!

And finally, if you like your detective capers even weirder:

The EVA pilots have gone missing! When their own resources fail to bring in any leads, NERV Sub-commander Fuyutsuki reluctantly recommends an unconventional professional investigator to handle the case. Said unconventional professional being the hard-boiled, American detective known as Nick Danger, Third Eye! Brought over from the States and accompanied by Misato, Nick must search Tokyo-3 high and low for the pilots, lest the Angels catch NERV with its pants down! Will he succeed? Will Misato be able to tolerate such a throwback gaijin personality? And will Nick Danger be able to successfully grasp the Japanese language?

Find out in "Super-Wackos of EVA: Everything You Know Is (Not) Wrong"! Narrated by Philip Proctor!

Till next time! And remember, if it ain't wacky and weird, it ain't "Super-Wackos of EVA"!
