Prologue
He walked towards the destroyed house that lay in ruins.
He stepped over the cat's corpse and saw two babies lying in the middle of the rubble.
One had red hair and the other black. One cried and the other didn't.
One was a boy, the other a girl.
One had a scar, the other did not.
He looked at the girl.
She was so quiet.
Everything his master wanted.
Perfect.
He looked at the other baby for a moment, and then decided.
Yes, it was the girl.
He picked her up and walked quickly and silently into the dark night.
Harry Potter rubbed his eyes. He sat up and looked around for a moment. He got out of bed and sat on the floor in the front of the window.
