In which Goku has been traumatized in one of the worst ways imaginable and Vegeta is left to pick up the pieces. VENT FIC because I went through basically the same thing and needed an outlet. Trigger Warnings For Rape, Self-harm and Suicidal Ideation. VEGEKAKA. Set in Super. Major OOC in first chapters for trauma and drug side effect reasons. Have fixed some stuff in ch. 1-3

9. Author's Note

I don't know how many people are still reading this, but I want to say thank you to everybody who has encouraged me throughout this writing process, and reviewed (literally every comment boosts my confidence no matter how small it is).

I'm sure some may have questions about the Vegeta stuff in the recent chapter. I didn't want to make it seem like I was pushing Goku to the side, but as I thought about it, it made sense for Vegeta to eventually have his own break down, since he's spent this entire story so far being the supporter. Getting to explore that more vulnerable side to a character who always seems so strong, the one who takes the role of Goku's anchor in this story, it was truly both fun and emotional for me.

Everything in the last update revolves around themes I've never written about in my life before(sexual abuse, sexual content in general like the Vegekaka stuff and the hospitalization) so I was very nervous upon posting it. It makes me genuinely happy that people enjoyed it so much.

I hope to write more eventually to conclude this. And I'm hoping chapters in the future will be shorter, I know these long updates are a lot.
