The battle for the kingdom Part 1

Everything that has happened today was almost a blur for Elizabeth. It all started when she got kidnapped. Then thrown into a dungeon cell. Then breaking out and knocking out her sister and Lucy. Thankfully they didn't hold that against her. Then only to get captured again. Thought thankful this time she was able to see her father this time.
Finally, Meliodas and the other opened the doors to her father's room just recently. And for the first time in so long Elizabeth felt like, she could see the light at the end of the tunnel.
"Now then." Said Meliodas as everyone looked at him.
"We defeated Hendrickson, and we saved Elizabeth. So hopefully we've stopped the demon clan from reviving. So what are you going to do now Dreyfus?" Asked Meliodas as he and the Sins glared at him.
"What are you talking about?" Asked Jericho confused.
"The truth is it was Dreyfus and Hendrickson who killed Zaratras 10 years ago not us. And staged it so we'd take the fall." Answered Gowther as this shocked everyone in the room. But no one more so then Graimore.
"Father." Was all Graimore could say as he didn't want to believe it. But at the same time he would never believe a Holy Knight would try to kill Veronica, but they did try to.
"Quiet! You're the criminals who were conspiring to overthrow the Kingdom! Everyone knows that you killed my older brother, captain of the Holy Knights, Zaratras! You're just using the situation here to your advantage!" Screamed Dreyfus but everyone kept their eyes on him.
"I saw it." Said Margaret surprising everyone.
"What?" Said Bartra surprised.
"Ten years ago, on the morning of the kingdom's birthday celebration… you and Hendrickson worked together to kill the captain of the Holy Knights Zaratras." Said Margaret as this shocked everyone and she wasn't done yet.
"While I was telling Gil about it, we were discovered by Vivian. That's how she held us captive." Finished Margaret as things went deeper then they thought.
Everyone thought Margaret was captured so they could control Gilthunder. None one of them thought it was to keep Margaret quiet.
"This can't be true." Said Guila as this was a lot to take in.
"I saw it all." Said Gowther, as he explained it.
"Dreyfus was envious of his older brother Zaratras. At his direction Hendrickson poisoned Zaratras and in his weakened state, they killed him together. By framing the Seven Deadly Sins as the culprits, they were able to take over the positions of captains and lead the Holy Knights."
Hearing that no one said anything as they took in everything they heard. But the ones who took it the hardest was Bartra and Griamore, but for different reasons.
"Father, say something." Pleaded Griamore as he didn't want to believe it. But all he got was Dreyfus staying quite and looking away.
Seeing this caused Griamore to snap as he rushed over to his father and forced him to look at him.
"Tell me it's a lie! Tell me that my own father didn't kill his own brother over something as stupid a jealously?!" Screamed Griamore as his father refused to look at him.
"Griamore." Said Gilthunder as he pulled him away from his Dreyfus.
"I admit defeat. Kill me." Said Dreyfus as he kneeled down and held out his sword.
Seeing this shocked Guila and Jericho, but not as bad as Gilthunder and Griamore though. As for Bartra he was kicking himself for being so blind to everything.
"WHY!" Demanded Veronica as she grabbed Dreyfus by his armour.
"Why did you do all this?" Continued Veronica as this shocked her sisters as they never seen her this angry before.
"You would never understand." Said Dreyfus as he refused to look at her.
"Try me." Growled Veronica.
"Have you ever lived in the shadow of a man so great, that nothing you do can get you out of it. That was me to Zaratras." Answered Dreyfus.
"I somewhat understand that." Said Meliodas as everyone who knew him was shocked to hear that. Meliodas never talked about his past or family.
"But to kill your own brother, just to get out of his shadow…" Trailed off Meliodas as he was furious. He considered Zaratras as a good friend, so to hear this was why he died, made Meliodas furious.
"Wait, then why did Hendrickson help you?" Asked Lucy as something was missing.
"Maybe to allow space to free the demon clan?" Suggested Elizabeth as she wasn't sure herself.
"Gowther." Said Meliodas curious if he knew.
"Dreyfus never knew why Hendrickson agreed to help him, but afterwards he saw Hendrickson changed. After time Dreyfus knew if he tried something against Hendrickson he'd go after his son." Answered Gowther as Griamore head went up hearing that.
"But what about the demon clan?" Asked Meliodas as he eyed Dreyfus.
"He knew Hendrickson was up to something but didn't look into it. Or at least what this side is saying." Answered Gowther as what he said confused him.
"This side?" Repeated Margaret confused.
"He's been saying that for a bit now." Answered Jericho as none of them understood why.
"Dreyfus for killing your own brother and framing the Seven Deadly Sins for your crimes. As well as for assisting Hendrickson with his crimes. You shall be held in the dungeons until a sentence that fits your crimes can be found." Decreed Bartra as he felt he failed as a king.
"Gilthunder, gather some trustworthy knights and take him away." Ordered Bartra as Gilthunder nodded.
"Meliodas, I have no right to ask, but may the Sins help me?" Asked Gilthunder as he didn't know who he could truly trust outside this room right now. And he couldn't ask Griamore to help.
"I'll help." Offered King as he walked over.
"As will I." Said Griamore shocking Gilthunder.
"Are you sure?" Asked Gilthunder as that was a huge task for him.
"Yes." Was all Griamore said as the three started to discuss how to move Dreyfus.
At the same time Bartra looked over at Arthur and smiled.
"Arthur. You've become quite the man since I last saw you." Praised Batra as he meant every word.
"Aw, shucks. Merlin still thinks I've got a long way to go." Said Arthur as he felt so too.
With Lucy and Elizabeth the two were also talking.
"It's finally over." Said Elizabeth with a breath of relief.
"Not until we find the seal for the demon clan." Said Lucy as she knew from pass jobs this could be the most difficult part. Though she was hoping that it would be easy.
"Right." Agreed Elizabeth as that was the reason why Lucy was here.
Realizing that Elizabeth's eyes went wide. Lucy's job here was almost over. And that meant she was going home soon. Elizabeth looked over at Lucy as she was her first real friend and didn't want to lose her.
But then out of nowhere the castle started to shake. And then a large gash appeared before them. Rumble and debris appeared all around them as everyone moved fast.
Meliodas grabbed Batara and jumped out of the way as Arthur joined him. Griamore made a barrier to protect Margaret and Vernoica. King used Chastiefol form two to protect himself as well as Jericho and Guila. Lastly Gilthunder grabbed Gowther as they got out of the way.
When the dust cleared Meliodas looked around and was worried.
"Where's Lucy and Elizabeth?!" Screamed Meliodas as he could see them.
"We're over here, she says." Said a new voice.
"Who's that?" Asked Veronica confused.
That was when they saw who spoke. Standing there was a grandfather clock. But this clock has long black arms and black feet. On top of the clock was a face. The face even had a thin twirly mustache with slit eyes. This was Horologium, one of Lucy's silver keys spirts.
"What is that?" Asked Arthur confused.
"It must be one of Lucy's spirts." Said Meliodas as he looked at Horologium and chuckled.
"What's so funny?" Asked Gilthunder as he was surprised by the shapes and forms Lucy's spirts took.
Meliodas didn't answer as he pointed at Horologium case. Everyone looked as they too chuckled. For both girls were smouched inside the case. Lucy was on the bottom as Elizabeth was upside down on her.
"Haha, now get us out, she says." Said Horologium as he repeated what Lucy said.
Meliodas chuckled as he walked over and opened Horologium's glass case and helped Elizabeth out. And with Elizabeth off her Lucy got out as well.
"Thank you Horologium." Said Lucy grateful for him help.
"Yes thank you." Agreed Elizabeth as she gave Horologium a bow.
"No problem." Said Horologium as returned back to the spirt realm.
"What happened?" Asked Veronica worried as she saw the state of the castle.
Hearing that no one had an answer for her. But the Sins other people who knew battel knew whoever did this was very powerful.
Outside the castle Howzer's group saw the damaged and gasped in shocked.
"The castle." Was all Howzer could say as it was cut in half.
"There's not many out there who could do that." Admitted Varghese as he couldn't look away.
"But why did they do that? Asked Diane confused.
"It can't be." Said Blanchefleur as her hand were on the ground.
"What is it?" Asked Varghese confused.
"But how did he get there so fast?" Blanchefleur asked herself as they all realized who she was talking about and got worried.
"We're heading to the castle to support the others." Ordered Howzer as he knew they'll need help.
No one argued with him as they then rushed off to help their friends.
"You know boy, you got a good head on your shoulders there." Praised Varghese. Hearing that made Howzer grin. But he knew now wasn't the time to let praises to go to his head.
At the castle all the knights and guards around it were in shock and in fear at the sight.
"Is this the Seven Deadly Sins doing?" Asked one knight worried, especially if he came face to face with one of them.
"Nope. It was me." Said a new voice.
The knight turned to the source and gasped in surprise. It was Hendrickson, but he was different.
His body looked fine like he never was in a fight with Arthur, Meliodas and Gilthunder. But that wasn't the most shocking thing. His entire upper body was cover in some sort of black mass. It went over his shoulder and was even coming up from his arms. Even his eyes were black as a black scar was over his right eye.
"Now then. Let the real entertainment begin." Said Hendrickson with a chuckle.
Meanwhile the assembled knights were shocked to hear this and just as shocked at his appearance.
"Memeza nemeza memenomaza." Started Hendrickson as he chanted as no one knew what he was saying.
"What do you mean 'it was me'? Are you being serious? You destroyed the castle?! Depending on your answer I, Holy knight Murano, may have to purge you!" Demanded a knight who was part of the new generation.
"Calm down rookie. Can't you see that's captain Hendrickson?" Said an older Holy Knight.
"I don't care! He destroyed the castle!" Screamed the new generation knight.
"What is with you new generation knights? Always so angry." Said the older Knight as he faced Hendrickson.
"But he is right about the castle sir. Why did you do that?" Asked the older knight as Hendrickson continued his chant.
"Blood Awaken." Finished Hendrickson as something happened to the new generation knights.
"Sir!" Warned the older knight as he went for his weapon. Then out of nowhere his danger sense flared and he jumped away just as something tried to grab him.
The knight turned to his attacker as he saw some sort of demonic beast there. And even more shocking was the fact a new generation Holy Knight was sticking out of his stomach.
The older knight then heard more screams and saw this was not isolated either. All over the kingdom new generation Holy Knights were turning into demonic creatures.
Back with the others they were regaining their footing worried what happened.
"Could Hendrickson have another ally somewhere?" Asked Lucy nervous as that wouldn't be the first time that's happened.
"No. I've only seen Hendrickson with Tiffany, and Helbram. But…" Started Guila as she then suddenly stopped.
Everyone looked at her confused, but that confusion quickly turned to shock when they saw her and Jericho cry out in pain as they fell to the floor screaming.
"What's happening?" Asked Margaret scared as Gilthunder stood in front of her to protect her from whatever may happen.
"Meliodas the demon blood!" Yelled Elizabeth as she realized what it was.
Hearing that those who knew what she was talking about gasped as she was right. But for everyone else they had no idea what was happening.
Then without missing a beat Gowther rushed over to the two girls. He then pointed his pointer and middle at both girls heads and fired his magic at them. This caused both girls to somewhat relax.
"What's happening?" Asked Batra confused.
"Father all the new generation Holy Knights have drank demon blood. That's why they so strong, but also why they're cold and uncaring." Answered Veronica as she eyed the two girls in Gowther's care.
"But that's not all, it can also transform the person into a demon like being." Added Lucy they all heard screams and destruction outside.
Everyone looked out as the city was under attack. And after seeing what nearly happened to the Jericho and Guila, they all knew the cause.
"They're all transforming." Said King in shock.
"But all at the same time? What are the chances?" Asked Griamore confused.
"That's because someone's making them go berserk." Said Meliodas grimly as it was the only way.
"But who?" Asked Elizabeth scared.
"There's only one man." Said Meliodas as he turned his head. Seeing this everyone did the same.
"You're perceptive as ever." Said Hendrickson as he stood above them.
"Hendrickson how could you do this?!" Demanded Batra in fury.
"Quite easily actually. The new generation were those humans who wouldn't be Holy Knights. They were failures. In their hearts was an inferiority complex against the Holy Knights and their anger at their own powerless selves. Their negative feelings react to the demon blood to create magic. But an ancient incantation spurred the demon blood to go berserk. Their frail egos are swallowed up in the black muddy waters and their bodies are taken over." Explained Hendrickson.
"What happened to him?" Asked King as he looked different now.
"He has demon blood inside him, too." Answered Meliodas as he stood in front of Elziabeth.
"Then why didn't he go berserk too?" Asked Lucy as she thought about who to bring out.
"I must thank Tiffany for this. After all it's such a blessing. True compatibility with the demon blood hyperactivates the muscles and amplifies the strength of one's magic. It was thanks to Tiffany's research that I was able to reach this state. If she somehow survives this, I will properly thank her." Explained Hendrickson as he felt like nothing could stop him.
"Now then hand over the princess. If you do, I'll sympathize with you as a comrade and let you live." Said Hendrickson as he calmly walked towards Elizabeth.
"Don't group me with you. You're not human nor demon. You're just a plain old scumbag." Said Meliodas as he had no intention of let him get Elziabeth. A feeling the other fighters shared as they got between Hendrickson and Elizabeth, while Veronica and Margaret were close to their sister.
"Just the reply I was expecting." Said Hendrickson as he grinned.
"Were you expecting this too?" Asked King as he lazily floated behind Hendrickson. All the while Chastiefol was in form five around him.
Then out of nowhere two new generation demon knights tackled King. King caught off guard quickly recalled Chastiefol to get the demon knights off him.
"I must admit King I wished to use Helbram against you. But you so much damage to his body it would have fallen part on the way here." Said Hendrickson calmly as King grinded his teeth together.
"It was a stroke of luck when I found his corpse on the Black market. I always found it interesting that fairy folk bodies don't decay. Well eight years ago I bought his body and gave him temporary life." Said Hendrickson so to get under King's skin.
"But how?!" Asked Lucy as such magic is forbidden in her world.
"It's a forbidden spell passed down by the druids: Corpse Animation. He was money well spent." Said Hendrickson with a grin. Seeing that grin caused King to snap.
"Hendrickson!" Screamed King as he rushed at him. But in his rage King forgot about the demon knights as they pilled on him.
"King!" Cried out Elizabeth in worry.
It was then that Meliodas and Gilthunder rushed to Hendrickson. Both ready to end this once and for all.
"Well done Vivian." Said Hendrickson calmly.
Hearing that both Meliodas and Gilthunder stopped and looked back in worry. And their worry was right as Vivian had both Elizabeth and Margaret as she held them with her staff.
"Vivian, you wench!" Screamed Gilthunder as he had more then enough of her.
"You belong to me, Gil! Don't you realize how much I love you?" Said Vivian as she started to cry.
"Your crazy!" Scream Lucy as a small part of her was grateful Juvia wasn't like her.
"Open the gate of the Ram, Aries!" Continued Lucy as Aries appeared before her.
"I'm sorry… Actually, no I'm not." Said Aries as she heard everything about Vivian and was sicken by it.
"Wool Shot!" Cried out Aries as blast of wool hit Vivian right between Elizabeth and Margaret.
The sudden blast and how relaxing it felt caused Vivian to let go of her hostages. Seeing this Elizabeth and Margaret rushed away.
"Nice one Lucy!" Praised Meliodas grateful for Lucy.
"Nice try." Said Hendrickson as he was already behind Elizabeth and grabbed her arms.
"What?" Siad Gilthunder as he looked behind himself and saw Hendrickson was gone.
'How can he move so fast?' Gilthunder asked himself in shock.
"Elizabeth!" Cried out Meliodas as he rushed to her side.
"Goodbye." Said Hendrickson as he vanished with Elizabeth just as Meliodas was in arm reach.
"Damn it!" Yelled Meliodas as he was only a few seconds late.
But he had no time to do anything as more demon knights appeared. But then suddenly something slammed into a few of them.
"Hey captain." Said Ban lazily as looked around and then glared.
"What happened?" Ban asked as he saw all the demon knights.
"Hendrickson kidnapped Elizabeth. I'm sorry but can you deal with things here?" Said Meliodas as he rushed off before anyone could answer him.
"I'm coming too!" Yelled Lucy as she rushed after Meliodas while closing Aries gate.
With them gone Ban looked around confused as he wondered what happened while doing his own thing.
"Griamore protect the king and the princess!" Order Gilthunder as he attacked one demon knight that got close to him.
"Right." Said Griamore as he put his strongest barrier around the three.
"So how do we deal with this?" Asked Arthur as he dodged an attack.
Hearing that Gilthunder wasn't sure what to say. They were still Holy Knights. But in this state, they were dangers to the kingdom.
That was when the demon knights on King went flying. King then sent Chastiefol at several other demon Knights.
"Gil!" Said Vivian as she started to walk towards Gilthunder. Though anyone could see she wasn't right in the head.
Gilthunder glared at the woman who caused him so much pain and suffering and that wasn't even including what she did to Margaret. Then he vanished for a second before appearing behind Vivian. Vivian then fell to the ground.
"Did you kill her?" Asked Arthur curious.
"Death is too good for her." Said Gilthunder coldly as she deserved more.
"That's good and all, but what about all this?" Asked Ban as he kicked a demon knight away.
"Maybe I can help." Said a voice above them.
Everyone looked up fearing it was another enemy. But then relaxed when they saw Merlin there.
"Merlin!" Said Arthur glad she won her fight.
"Use these on them." Said Merlin as she tossed King, Ban, and Gilthunder the cure she got from Tiffany.
The three men looked at the needles curious. They didn't need instructions as they injected the first demon knights close to them.
As they moved away they saw the demon knights shake, before the started to change back into humans again.
"Merlin how did you get a cure so fast?" Asked Arthur amazed by her skills as he looked at the unconscious naked knight before him.
"It wasn't me. Tiffany had this cure prepare well in advance." Admitted Merlin with a smile on her face.
"Nice cure and all, but how will the cure not out?" Asked Ban curious.
"Look at your syringes." Was all Merlin said as they looked down and were surprised, that they were still full.
"How?" Asked Gilthunder curious.
"Tiffany has dozens of vials of this cure ready. I simply used a spell to put them all in those three vails." Answered Merlin.
"King, Ban I know I have no right to ask you two this. But please stop those monsters." Asked Barta as he knew he had no right to after what they did to them.
"Sure." Said Ban lazily, but he was ready to get rid of these fake demons.
"Leaving them be will only cause us problems later." Said King as he wasn't going to let these demon knight run around.
"Thank you." Said Batara as he bowed to them to show his thanks. Something his daughters did the same of.
Ban, King and Gilthunder then rushed off as they went about curing every demon knight they saw. At the same time Gowther still had Jericho and Guila under his care as they forgot about them.
"Hey." Said Athur gaining everyone's attention.
"Where's Dreyfus?" He asked as everyone realized he was gone.
Meanwhile with Hendrickson he and Elizbeth appeared at Merlin's old lab. Seeing a chance Elizabeth stomped her foot down as hard as she could on Hendrickson's foot. Hendrickson felt nothing from it but decided to humor her and let her go.
"This ends now." Said Elizbeth as she pulled out her whip and got into a fighting position.
Seeing this Hendrickson started to laugh hard as he had to put his hands on his knees to keep up. Seeing this Elizabeth did nothing as she thought this was some sort of trap.
"Do you really think you can beat me?" Hendrickson asked her as he stood up straight.
"No." Said Elizabeth as this caught Hendrickson off guard as this was opposite of what she just said.
"But I can hopefully buy enough time for Meliodas or Lucy or someone else to get here and stop you." Said Elizabeth as she knew she stood no chance.
"Bold of you to think they'll make it here in time." Said Hendrickson as Elizabeth has changed since he last saw her.
"They might not, but I did." Said a voice above them.
Hearing this both of them looked up and saw Dreyfus there.
"Dreyfus." Was all Hendrickson said.
"Hendrickson. I must put a stop to you. As a Holy Knight of the Kingdom and as a friend." Said Dreyfus as he jumped down and faced Hendrickson.
The two knights stared at each other before they went at each other. They're movements were fast and precis. If it looked like one made a mistake the other would try to capitalize on it.
Seeing this fight Elizabeth realized why they both share the rank of Great Holy Knights. But she knew instead of watching the fight the best thing she could do is sneak away.
But that was easier said then done. Every time Elizabeth would get some distance away from the fight Hendrickson would move it closer to them.
Then the two broke apart as they stared each other down. The to Elizabeth's surprise cuts appeared over Hendrickson's body. Seeing this Hendrickson growled.
"Did you forget Hendrickson? Just as with my will my body will never rust, rot, or crumble to dust. Even in the face of your magic." Stated Dreyfus as he stared down Hendrickson.
"Typical Dreyfus." Started Hendrickson. "That's why I hate to lose to you. I wish we could have always remained friends."
But as Hendrickson spoke Dreyfus attention was on Hendrickson's wounds as they healed before his eyes.
"That regenerative power… that demonic look… Thise are powers of one who shouldn't exist. How far have you fallen, Hendrickson." Said Dreyfus as he didn't want to believe what the Sins said. But seeing this he'd be a fool to ignore it.
"That's nor true. The way I see it… it's humans who are no more than pathetic worms crawling on the ground." Said Hendrickson.
"Your right." Said Elizabeth surprising the two. "We are like worms sometimes. But when we join forces and let our strengths covers overs weakness, then we are strong."
Hearing that surprised the two as the weren't expecting that from Elizabeth. Unaware that she was remembering the time Lucy told her that they should do what they are all to do.
"It's time we end this Hendrickson." Said Dreyfus as he gathered his magic into his sword.
"Milky way jail break blade!" Said Dreyfus as the amount of energy on his blade was enormous.
'That's a technique that concentrates all of one's magic in one blow and can only be unleashed once!' Thought Hendrickson worried as he saw that move used once before.
"Dreyfus! Do you really mean to strike me down?" Asked Hendrickson as he was looking for an escape route.
"The change you underwent and the chaos that befell the kingdom… I take responsibility for it all. So the least I can do to atone for my sins is make right these wrongs. Forgive me, friend!" Said Dreyfus as he fired.
But at the last second the ground under him broke. This caused his aim to sway. While most of it went the wrong direction, some of it headed Elizabeth's way. Seeing this Elziabeth couldn't move in shock.
"ELIZABETH!" Screamed someone as they tackled Elizabeth out of the way. But the person as a bit late as Elizabeth's right forearm got grazed and started to bleed.
That was when everyone saw it was Meliodas who pushed Elizabeth down.
"Meliodas!?" Said Elizabeth in surprise as she wasn't expecting him.
"Elizabeth, are you ok?" Asked Lucy as she rushed to her side.
"Lucy?" Said Elizabeth still surprised as she then gathered herself while looking at her bleeding arm.
"I think so." Elizabeth told her as she looked at her arm.
"Good." Said Meliodas as he got up and glared at Hendrickson.
"I wasn't expecting you so soon Meliodas." Said Hendrickson calmly.
"For someone on the ropes, your very calm." Said Lucy as this made her worried.
"Am I?" Asked Hendrickson. "Or is everything still going according to my plans?"
Hearing that made both Lucy and Elizabeth nervous. While Dreyfus and Meliodas got into fighting stances.
"Meliodas take your comrade and get Elizabeth out of here." Said Dreyfus as he got his sword ready.
Dreyfus then charged at Hendrickson as he unleashed a flurry or swing at him. But Hendrickson didn't move an inch. But when Dreyfus stopped his attack there wasn't a scratch on him.
"I guess it's time to stop playing around." Said Hendrickson as he held out his hand and dropped pieces of a sword.
Everyone wondered where those pieces. But they got their answer when they saw Dreyfus sword was gone.
"What?" Was all Lucy could say. She seen a lot since she started as a mage. But to destroy as sword so quickly and without a spell was unheard of to her.
"Lucy, get Elizabeth out of here." Said Meliodas in a low tone as he got ready to fight.
"Dreyfus you've used up all your magic. As it stands you don't stand a chance against me. So to honor our old friendship, I'll let you walk away." Said Hendrickson as he really didn't feel like wasting energy on Dreyfus with Meliodas right there.
Then out of nowhere Dreyfus sent a haymaker right into Hendrickson face. But the sad thing was it did barely anything to Hendrickson. Hendrickson then caught Dreyus's fist and stopped it.
"Just remember Dreyfus I gave you a way out. But you refused it." Said Hendrickson as he wasn't upset by what he was going to do.
"Acid Down." Said Hendrickson as they girls could only watch on in horror as Dreyfus melted away before their eyes.
"And now for you." Said Hendrickson as Dreyfus armour hit the ground with a thud.
"Come on Elizabeth." Said Lucy as she grabbed Elizabeth's arm and started to run.
"You're not getting away." Said Hendrickson as he held out his hand.
But quicker than he though Meliodas cut his arm off and then kicked him in the back of his head. Hendrickson almost fell over as he quickly regained his bearing and whacked Meliodas away. But Meliodas was quick to recover as he quickly kneed Hendrickson in the jaw. Then Meliodas unleashed a fury of sword swings, forcing Hendrickson on the defence.
But during all this Hendrickson wasn't worried as he even grinned. Because unknown to Meliodas, Hendrickson still had control of his cut off arm. As said hand launched a fireball at the girls as they fled.
The girls felt the heat behind them as they turned around and saw the fireball. But neither had time to react. But luck was on their side was something hit the fireball destroying it.
"What?" Said Hendrickson in surprise.
For Diane had blocked the fireball with Gideon.
"Daine!" Said Elizabeth in joy as Diane stood between them and Hendrickson.
"Nice timing." Agreed Lucy as she let out a breath of relief.
Hendrickson was shocked by Diane's sudden appearance, especially since she was a giant and somehow snuck up on them. That he failed to see the giant stuffed teddy bear behind him, until it snacked down. So hard in fact he traveled right through the ground and kept going.
The sudden shift in the foundation caused much of the floor to collapse. Diane picked up the girls, while Meliodas wasn't so lucky as he started to fall. Then out of nowhere someone grabbed his leg.
"Still alive Captain?" Asked Ban with a smirk on his face, a smirk that Meliodas copied.
With Hendrickson he was slowly getting up as he shook his head. As he got his bearings he frowned at the sight before him.
It was six of the Seven Deadly Sins alone with Lucy as all of them were ready to finish this.
"It over Hendrickson, it's time to end this!" Declared Meliodas as he was out of moves, hopefully.
"I don't like repeating myself Meliodas." Said Hendrickson as he got up.
"But I must admit to see six of the Seven Deadly Sins, plus one is quite the sight. But I see that you're as cold-blooded lot of criminals as ever. You abandoned the people of this kingdom to be trampled on by the new generation." Declared Hendrickson.
"Hendrickson, you're not exactly at an advantage here. You might want to take a deep breath." Said Meliodas calmly.
"What?" Said Hendrickson confused but did just that and gasped at what he felt.
"What!? The magic auras of the new generation that filled the capital have vanished?! And the magic enveloping this area…" Trailed off Hendrickson in shock.
"Tiffany made a cure to the demon blood. And when you tried to transform her against her will she was more then willing to share it with me." Said Merlin proudful.
"And we gave it to all the new generation knights in the area." Added King with a smirk.
"And Howzer has gathered all able Holy Knights here." Said Diane as Hendrickson was furious.
"I knew that woman was more trouble then her worth." Said Hendrickson as he should have killed her when she made the success right of the demon blood high.
"And this time, the kingdoms Holy Knights aren't here for us. They're here to keep you from getting away!" Declared Meliodas as he grinned.
"There's no way you're releasing the demon clan Hendrickson. And if you somehow defeat us, you'll be in no shape to deal with everyone outside." Declared Lucy as her whip was ready.
But then Hendrickson did something that confused them. He started to laugh like a mad man.
"It'd be a bore if it were anything less!" Declared Hendrickson.
"So what if you defeated the new generation. They were never in my long term goals." Said Hendrickson as his severed arm returned to him and went to reacted to him.
But before it could Meliodas cut it off again.
"You're going down." Said Meliodas calmly.
And cliffhanger. I felt this was the best place to end this chapter otherwise the chapter would be too long. But the demon knight have been dealt with, and not like in the series. That may or may not have an effect on things later. And Jericho joined Guila in having her magic saved. And that will affect things later.
And on another not happy new years everyone. This is the year of the dragon. So on a random note who or what is your favorite dragon in anime? It can range from actually dragons to people with dragon like features or powers. For me it's Shenron from Dragon ball.
