Urano Motosu as the protagonist of Persona 5. Expect a bookworm's rampages and enough chaos that a certain evil god gets headaches. Contains spoilers for P5 and (to a lesser extent) P5R, rated M because of P5-typical distorted hearts.

4. Author's Note

This isn't a chapter. I'm only part of the way through writing chapter 4, but I wanted to say something.

First, however, thank you NightmareKnight1 and Geek Girl Naruru for your reviews. NightmareKnight1, I've fixed the mistake you pointed out. Geek Girl Naruru, I've begun the process of getting an AO3 account, though it'll probably be October before I can crosspost this story.

Anyway, onto business. I've been thinking, and I'm not quite satisfied with this story's current format. Because I watched a YouTube let's play of Persona 5 & P5R instead of actually playing the games ( JohneAwesome), I've been referring to those for the Palace layout and the Megami Tensei Wiki for information on Shadows and Personas. The whole process has been intricate and time-consuming.

But, despite that effort, the results don't seem that good to me. Put simply, there isn't enough of Urano/Myne/Rozemyne being a rampaging, common sense-destroying bookworm. Most of her personality is put to the wayside in favor of progression through the Palace (and with limited changes from canon, at that), making it feel to me like it's just Myne in name only. My dissatisfaction has only increased after getting a copy of the latest volume and refreshing myself on her character.

To be clear, I'm not planning on stopping this story. However, I have been thinking about changing the format. Instead of essentially rehashing the entire Palace experience, I'm considering limiting myself to scenes that are distinct from canon.

As for why I am making this post, well, I wanted some feedback from my readers before carrying out this change. I mean, barring vehement rejection, I'll probably be implementing this change regardless of what you say. But I still feel like it's a good idea to hear your perspective before committing to anything, especially since it can help me figure out the details of the shift.

(P.S. If I do change format, I'll post what I've written of Chapter 4 so far. It'd just feel like a waste to throw it out after putting in the effort of writing it.)
