Warning: Mention of violence

I've just finished a breakfast of waffles topped with strawberries in the cookhouse. Angie comes up.

"Okay girls, we're going to go on a quick break for a week. Stay safe!" She announces. Everybody goes to the middle of the cookhouse.

"Goodbye," Esmerelda tells me as she hugs me.

"Goodbye," Kida tells me as she hugs me.

"Bye-bye," Mirabelle tells me as she hugs me.

"Bye-bye," Mei Mei tells me as she hugs me.

I walk out. Frederic is standing outside of the carriage. We hug.

"So good to see you! I have a special surprise for you!" He announces. I smile. We get in.

We arrive at the palace. We get out. A young woman with short, brown hair, tan skin, green eyes, pink lips, and was wearing a purple dress with pink lining, Rapunzel, a young man with brown hair and eyes, tan skin wearing a white shirt, green jacket, and brown pants and boots, Eugene, and a young woman with short, black, curly hair, pale skin, green eyes, red lips wearing a blue dress with a white column in the middle and black boots, Cassandra are sitting on the palace steps.

"RAPUNZEL!" I cry.

"MOM!" She cries as she stands up. We run to each other and hug.

"I missed you!".

"I missed you too.".

I am in town square with Frederic, Rapunzel, Cassandra and Eugene. A man with tan skin, black hair, gray eyes, rosy cheeks, a shaved beard, a red tee-shirt, brown hair vest, and black gloves, shorts, and boots, Quirin approaches me. I turn around.

"Hi, Arianna," He greets me.

"Oh… She definitely heard you on the night of the Sundrop Expedition." Frederic says.

"What are they talking about?" Rapunzel asks.

"I'll explain later." Cassandra explains.

"Arianna, about that night… Gothel got a hold of the Mind-Trap, a device that can control me and my siblings.". I look at Frederic.

"It's true, his eyes were glowing blue. I thought he had some sort of blue bioluminescent fungus in his eye.". I turn to Quirin. I hugged him.

"Quirin… I'm so sorry.".

"It's fine. You must have been really scared. I would be scared if I thought one of my friends was plotting to kill me behind my back.".
