Edi Riggs and Roiyaru Dorn get off the Deuce, Edi parks the car in the front of the broken metal god temple.
"Here we go Roi, another construction project for you" Edi points at the collapsed temple.
"Building churches is not what I had in mind," Roiyaru said, looking around the building parts.
"Come on Roi, the sooner you fix it the sooner we find Hajime" Edi says, making Roi signs as he gets his hammer out, hitting the broken derby.
Repair
Roiyaru keeps hitting the broken temple, the pieces start to fly and fix themselves, Edi watches everything with a satisfied grin at Roi's handiwork.
"Yes, yes, that's my man, this is a church I can preach in" Edi said, going around the place as he checked around the area.
"Come on Edi, we need to go" Roi points out, seeing the repairs are done and the temple looks good as new.
Edi runs to the walls, seeing pictures on the walls of a brand playing a concert while shooting demons.
He goes to another wall painting, a rocker playing his guitar, with people around him, said people are crying in agony, Edi sees their faces are melting off.
Edi sees writing on the top of the picture.
"Hang on come up here" Edi calls out; Roiyaru walks over to Edi to see the picture on the wall.
"A man playing guitar with everyone crying in pain, with their faces melting?" Roi observes the painting on the wall.
"Yeah Facemelter, but look up" Edi points at the writing above the picture, Roi sees what looks like music notes on the wall.
"Music notes?" Roi asked, seeing the notes while Edi nodded.
"Hell yeah Roi, it looks like D flat and another," Edi said, playing a few notes while Roi looked at him.
"Are you sure this is correct?" Roi asked, seeing Edi play a few notes,
Then spot lights open up, lighting up the picture on the wall, purple light at the back started to roar as the sound of chains moving, Roiyaru and Edi looks to see a metal animal like skull with two large front fangs rolls over the picture and metal spikes sprout out of the side of the wall painting.
"That is metal as hell" Edi looks at the metal skull in awe, the writing looks more clear to him now.
"That skull is made of Metal flesh" Roi points out, as Edi pulls out his Plate
"Oh hell yeah baby" Edi grins while Roi looks over his state plate.
"Facemelter?" Roi asked, seeing a new skill in Edi's states.
"Oh I got to try this, I'm going to melt people's faces off" Edi wants to try it as he grabs Clementine but Roi stops him.
"Perhaps you can save it for monsters instead of me" Roi states, while he can see Edi got a new skill, he doesn't want to be near something that can 'melt his face off'.
"Wait, but ohhhh" Edi moans as he puts Clementine down in disappointment.
"Come on, I have another temple to fix," Roi states, looking around for something.
"Where is the car?" Roi asked, looking for the Deuce Edi to look around.
"Oh right, I need to summon it" Edi figures, pulling out the clementine.
Edi rocks on the guitar, playing the notes of Summon the Deuce as lights appear behind him, lighting strikes as the Deuce summons in front of them.
"Come on Roi" Edi said, jumping into the car as did Roi.
"I believe I saw a picture of the car" Roi spoke about what he saw.
"My light shows everytime I play Clementine" Edi smiles at the stage light whenever he plays, he drives though the path to another broken temple.
"It also gets everything attention" Roi warns, the sound and lights make Edi a glowing target.
"The centre of attention, just my thing" Edi said, driving forward into the path as he stopped in front of the temple.
"As long as you don't get killed," Roi said, getting out of the car as they made their way to the temple.
Roi steps out of the car, pulling his hammer out to Repair and Auto build the temple of the metal gods.
"Another temple, come on" Roi said about leaving but Edi looked around the place, as he saw the treasure chest on the wall.
"Hey Roi, look at this" Edi calls out, getting Roi over as he opens the chest, surprised to find inside.
Edi puts his hand in to pull out a black backstage pass with the words Storage on it.
"A Back-stage pass?" Edi said, looking confused as goes Roi.
"To what concert?" Roi asked, looking at the backstage pass over.
"Doesn't say anything but storage" Edi said, shrugging as he throws it to Roi, he catches it.
"I'm not going to a concert" Roi said, not seeing a point to a backstage pass.
"You're the roadie to my concert, you're going to need one" Edi said with a grin as he looked at the images on the wall, seeing another guitarist playing a song with a man holding a sword in the air triumph with warriors fighting around them.
Roi looks at the backstage pass with confusion; he shrugs as he puts it around his neck, pulling out his state plate to see if it can explain it.
[Backstage Storage] A pass to open a roadie's pocket dimension for all the roadie need
Roi's eyes widen in surprise, grabbing the pass as he goes to see the Steel Metal around the place.
Pressing the backstage pass he creates a spell circle around the items, absorbing it into the circle, Roi looks at the tag to see the metal in the hologram like screen on the pass.
"A backstage pass that can create a storage space" Roi figures out the card as he turns to see Edi learning a new spell.
"Battle Cry baby!" Edi shouts, the metal skull appearing on top of the picture showing he learns a new guitar solo.
"What does it do?" Roy asked Edi turn to him.
"Battle Cry Roi, don't worry this one will increase all attacks for a short time, want to try it" Edi offered, wanting to play it and see what it can do, but Roi shakes his head to his disappointment.
"Save it for later, another one to go" Roi shakes his head, not wanting to waste time as Edi just Summons the Deuce, the two get in the car to head to the next one.
"So does the pass do anything?" Edi asked while he drove to the next broken temple.
"The backstage pass gives me access to a pocket dimension for storage" Roi explains to Edi awe.
"Holyshit, really?" Edi asked,
"Yes," Roi nods.
"A backstage pass can go that, you fucken crazy man" Edi said, looking down the road as he stopped in front of the temple.
"I'm not clinically insane, not yet I think" Roi said, stepping out of the car, while Edi signs.
"At this point, I have to agree with you" Edi said, looking at Roi as he watches him fix another temple with Fix and Auto Build.
"Another temple, and another chest" Edi said heading to the chest in the middle,
Edi opens the chest to see a very small green piece, reaching down Edi picks up a green guitar pick, the pick looks like a demon face with horns.
"This is sexy" Edi looks at the pick, seeing the glowing green pick.
Edi looks at his state plate while holding the green pick.
[Pick of Destiny] the tooth of a great demon lord, turn into a pick to increase the Metal power and sound.
"Pick of destiny, love it" Edi said, playing a few notes, loving the sound as he saw green lighting around his pick hand.
"I'm never throwing you away" Edi grins giving the demon pick a kiss as he turns to Roi.
"Hey Roi check out my new pick" Edi shows the green pick, Roi looks at it confused.
"You didn't have a pick already?" Roi asked, walking out of the temple.
"I use my fingernails, it works but a pick is better, and his one has magic" Edi brags while playing the notes to call the car, the green lighting around his finger.
"Magic guitar pick, magic tags, this fantasy world makes little sense" Roi mentions as he looks at the pick and tag, both head to the Deuce.
"Now that you mention it, it's weird seeing magic items from earth" Edi thinks about it, thinking about the world there in, fantasy worlds have mediaeval stuff like swords and staffs, not plastic tags and fully functioning cars.
"The guardian spoke like he knows the mavericks" Roi mentions, recalling the Guardian of Metal spoke of 'Oscar'.
"Yeah, he also mentions he knows the demon king or whatever" Edi rolls his eyes, seeing the demon trying to learn the ways of metal.
"The Guardian is older than he looks" Roi notes, a man made of lava really is beyond logic at this point.
"Immortal? Now that's a blessing" Edi nods, driving to the next broken temple.
"Or a curse" Roi points out, immortal as it ups and downs, more down then ups in some cases.
"Whatever, but he does look familiar? I can't put my head around it" Edi said, knowing he had seen the Guardian of Metal before.
"Yes" Roi agrees with him, the Deuce stops in front of another temple, and Edi signs at Roi's responses.
"Yes like I'm wrong or yes I'm crazy" Edi asked, glaring at him.
"The Guardian of Metal must be from our world, no one here is British" Roi points out, both of them enter the temple which wasn't as destroyed as the others.
"Good point" Edi nods, both stop as they look forward.
There's not alone, while the temple around them is broken, the centre of the temple are three figures kneeling before a large metal object in the middle.
They are seen wearing blood red cloaks, the hoods of which cover half of their faces, with a pentagram hanging around their necks. They have wicked looking swords with claw-like hands and sharp shark teeth.
"Who are they?" Edi asks, looking at the hooded figures, Roi grabs his hammer and shield, seeing these three as enemies.
They got close to see the three figures kneeling and praying.
"The day has finally come for us to serve our masters" One hooded guy in the middle chants.
"A reward for finding one piece" The Left hooded guy said.
"For the masters" the right hooded guy chants.
"Hey…hey guys, were not you masters" Edi waves his hands, the hooded figures stand up.
"No you are not" The middle one said, pulling out his sword.
"Yes" Roi agrees, the three hooded figures do creepy, incoherent chants.
"Ok the bad guys" Edi said, pulling out his axe, the one figure stabs Edi, he blocks with the Separator, pushing forward as he swings his axe to chop the figures head off.
Roi blocks the two swords from the others, swiping his shield to knock them aside and smash his hammer, crushing one of the hooded figures, launching him to the side as the body smashed into a wall.
The last hooded figure shakes his head, about to stab Roi in the back,
But the metal guitar sounds stop him, turning to see Edi grinning at him.
Edi does a guitar solo, playing Facemelter with lights and lighting surrounding Edi.
The hooded figure screams as his hood pulls off, his demonic-like face melting as he screams in horror and pain.
Edi grins at the guitar solo and melting the guy's face, so fucken METAL.
"Did you see that Roi, I melted that guy's face!" Edi screams in awe, pointing at the guy's melted face.
"Thank you for not melting my face" Roi spoke; happy his face didn't melt from the spell.
"What, Roi come on, I would never do it to you" Edi said, but a Roi face is as stoic as before, turning to the hooded figures.
Looking closer at what's left of their faces.
"These are not humans," Roi observed, looking closer at the figures.
"Could these be the demi-humans?" Roi thought out loud, looking at the more monster-like face, believing these are the half human half animal.
"No way, see those ugly mugs, they have to be demons" Edi figures out, seeing the monster-like faces and how ugly they are.
"They are not coffee cups, demi-humans are said to be cross breed with animals" Roi points out, seeing a more realistic picture of a half animal half human hybrid.
"You think humans fuck animals?" Edi asked, disgusted at the mention of that.
"Unsure how they breed" Roi says with a shrug, Edi shakes his head.
"Whatever these are demons to me and you are not changing my mind" Edi states, seeing these monster hooded guys with pentagram on their chest as demons.
"Fine" Roi said, picking up the weapons and other chains around the 'demons'
"This is Metal flesh" Roi states while putting the weapons in his pocket dimension
"Right, but what's this thing they are worshipping?" Edi examined the item in the centre of the pentagram.
It looks like an engine of some kind, the engine looks cool for its small size, with heat vents around it.
"A battery backpack?" Edi theories, looking at the straps like a backpack.
"It's an engine" Roi states the obvious.
"Yeah of course, so fix up the place" Edi points to the walls around them, normally the temple walls have pictures to explain basic shit.
Roi nods, Repairing and Auto Building the area before Roi picks up the engine backpack.
Edi looks at the painting on the walls, seeing another rocker playing, with lighting surrounding him, but the lighting is doing to a surrounding army wearing badass armour mixed with punk rock technology, with the backpack on each member of the army.
"Roi, does the thing have power?" Edi questions, turning to Roi holding the backpack.
"I tried to turn it on, but I don't see any power switch" Roi shakes his head, trying to turn on the device but fails to find it.
"Put it down, I think I can power it" Edi said, Roi did so as Edi got out Clementine
Play a few notes, lighting strikes the device, the gears start to turn and power up.
"Put it on your armour" Edi said, looking excited, Roi raised an eyebrow but grabbed the backpack gear.
Assimilate
The Backpack Gear attached on his body armor, Roi shifts around with the new added weight but starts to walk around swinging his arms and legs.
(Roi has a space marine power pack on the back of his armor)
"Mhhhh" Roi ponders on it, going to a stone pillar, Roi grabs the side of it, grunts but Edi gasp in awe, seeing Roi lift the pillar off the ground with little effort.
"HOLY FUCK! Roi you're super strong now, that Backpack engine made your armour a power suit and it powered by my METAL, that Fucken awesome" Edi cheered, seeing Roi now has super powers with his new power suit now.
"This engine must be some kind of fusion reactor of some kind, getting power near your metal, building them isn't difficult but the people need too" Roi went to an explanation but Edi stopped him.
"What What, You can build that thing?!" Edi looks surprised at him, Roi nods.
"Since I put it on my armor I now know how to make it" Roi explains, looking at his plate to see the diagram of the Backpack Engine and how to build it.
"Can you make me one!?" Edi eagerly asks, but Roi shakes his head.
"The Backpack is too heavy for you, only a strong build can carry it, without it limiting you" Roi explains, making Edi frown sadly.
"That sucks, guess I'll hit the gym more" Edi said, looking around to see clothes on a rack.
"There are no gyms in this world" Roi points out, annoying Edi.
"Shut up Roi" Edi said, seeing a leather jacket hanging up.
"Nice jacket" Edi said, putting it on.
"Very nice" Edi grins, zipping the jacket up, looking to see a melt belt as well, with the face of Ormagöden.
"Hello sexy" Edi grins, putting on the metal belt, putting Ormagöden's head at the front.
"How do I look Roi?" Edi poses for him, Roi stares at him.
"You look the same as before, nothing changes" Roi honestly said, making Edi roll his eyes.
"Yeah fuck you too, I look sexy as hell." Edi brags, both heading out of the temple, to the Deuce.
"Looks like there's one last temple" Edi said, seeing the last temple along the way, Deuce drives though the rocky path as Roi looks at the last one.
"Hopeful Nagumo is still alive" Roi worried about his friend, making Edi frown.
"He's smart and can control matter, he'll live until we save him" Edi said, driving forward.
"Lucky to survive a fall" Roi states, feeling unsure about Nagumo survival.
"Hey Nagumo might not be as smart as you, but he is smart enough, the Guardian said he is alive" Edi growls at Roi's doubt.
"Forgive me for not believing another priest" Roi said, not fully believing the Guardian of Metal.
"Hey, he was right about the shit we learned and about demons" Edi points out,
"We didn't learn about dung, and we're still not sure about them being demons," Roi points out, making Edi frustrated.
"Well it's better than you building a fucken ladder to where Nagumo is, we have a direction at least" Edi tells him, Roi shakes his head.
"At least my way would have brought him closer compared to this crusade of these metal gods" Roi points out, his way to build someone would have got them to Nagumo faster.
They come up to the last temple.
"Don't forget your part of the religion too" Edi calls out, getting out of the car with Roi following.
"Don't remind me" Roi states with a frown while they head to hopefully the last broken down temple.
They enter the temple, Roi grabs his hammer to Fix and Auto build to fix the place up.
"This is the last temple, hope we appeal to the metal gods" Edi said, pulling out the lighter to signal it straight in the air, showing his offering to the Metal gods.
"I hope this wasn't a waste of time" Roi said, really hoping all this didn't lead to Nagumo dying.
"Shut it Roi" Edi states, seeing the fires lighting up the place as they.
Lava spouts out, forming a rock pile that breaks out revealing The Guardian of Metal.
"Very Nice guys, the Metal gods are pleased indeed" GoM said, looking around the place, Roi standing before him.
"As promised, now send us to Nagumo" Roi threatens, ready to kill this man if they did it all for nothing.
"Roi, calm down, but he's right we wasted enough time and need to save our friend" Edi said, stopping Roi and turning to the Guardian of Metal.
"NO problem mates, the doorway is right over there" GoM states, a rock path is created in another direction.
"That's where Nagumo is now?" Roi asked, hoping it was the right path.
"Absolutely, just drive up there and you will be closer to finding him" GoM said, Edi brings in the Deuce for Roi to jump in.
"Wait how to come back" Edi asked, wanting to know more about the Metal gods.
"Eddy" Roi growls, they wasted enough time as it is.
"You know the way with the path of metal, now get your ass out of here and save your mate" GoM calls out, Edi nods as he starts to drive up the path.
Hoping Nagumo is still alive for them to save.
