And now, for the final part of the story! Let's wrap up this request so I can get back to writing for my other projects! Anyway, enjoy!

So… this is where we stand. Scooby, Shaggy and I stared in fear of the rather large, slimy green creature… the Slippery Slimer Monster, as I call him. After it roared at us and stuck out its creepy Alien-esque tongue, the monster stared at us as it grumbled angrily. "Get out… get out… GET OUT!"

"Like, good idea!" Shaggy whimpered as Scooby and I crawled straight inside Shaggy's shirt (which, if I wasn't so paralyzed in fear, I would actually be comfortable inside of Shaggy's shirt… sigh…) as he slowly backed away… before we quickly ran forward, leaving behind the monster as it gave out one last roaring sound.

We kept going forward until we ran into Fred and Velma, who was still investigating the front yard. The two turned to us as we slid forward, shaking in place.

Fred quickly raised an eyebrow. "Uh, Daphne? Scooby? Why are you two in Shaggy's shirt?"

I snapped out of my daze, realizing my situation as I blushed heavily (Shaggy and Scooby didn't notice as they were still shivering) before lifting Shaggy's shirt up as I slid out from under there, and made sure Scooby was out as well as I put my friend's shirt back down. "Uh… well…"

"On second thought, I don't want to know." Fred shook his head. "Did you three find anything?"

Shaggy stammered a bit as he and Scooby were pointing to the left. Velma rolled her eyes as she said, "Try to be specific!"

"Calm down, Shaggy." I sighed as I turned to the two. "You two are not going to believe us, but we ran into the same creature that Shaggy and Scooby saw."

"Y-y-yeah! The one that took my bike! We saw him! And he said-!" Shaggy started as Scooby pulled his face to imitate the monster.

"Ret out! Ret out! RET OUT!" Scooby imitated.

As I was finding myself more calm and assessing the situation, I was now realizing something very… familiar about those specific set of words. "You know, without the monster-esque tones, they sound very similar to something we heard before…"

"I mean, you saw it too, Daphne! Legit proof that ghosts are real!" Shaggy said as he shivered.

"Maybe, but maybe yet, it could be another guy in a suit." I sighed. "Like it always is when we go on cases like this. Because, and I have to stress, there are no such things as ghosts and monsters."

"How can you say that, Daphne?" Shaggy asked as he looked at me. "Especially after what we saw!"

"Look, I admit the whole Alien-esque tongue is freaky and all, but you have to admit, it could just be a very WELL convincing disguise." I gave a groan. "I'm just saying, maybe we should ease caution here."

"Well…" Freddy paused as he snapped his fingers. "Maybe it's a Martian you saw! You keep mentioning aliens, Daphne, he could very well BE one!"

I groaned as I rolled my eyes, and I could tell Velma, Shaggy and Scooby were rolling THEIR eyes too. "Freddy, be real here. I said that the monster has an Alien-esque tongue, not that he IS an alien."

"Well, it is wise of you to be cautious!"

We yelped as we bundled together, Scooby and I clinging onto Shaggy as Velma was holding Freddy pretty tightly. After a moment, we looked over and saw some bushes rustling… before a figure walked out… not a monster, thank goodness, but a young woman in a purple jacket and red outfit, dressed up as one of those fortune tellers… I squinted my eyes, realizing where I've seen her before… at the Daily Babbler!

"I deeply apologize, children, I didn't mean to frighten you. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Shirley McLoon… mayhaps you've heard of me. I'm the world-famous medium."

"Medium? You look more like an extra-large to me." Shaggy said as he looked up at the woman.

I turned to Shaggy in shock, before frowning as I slapped my hand on his shoulder. "Shaggy! I know you don't mean it, but watch what you say around a lady!"

Shirley gave a chuckle as she crossed her arms. "Don't worry, young one, I know he meant no harm. But no, a medium is someone who can see into the future. You see, my psychic powers have led me to this house. And as of now, I'm detecting evil spirits here."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I looked over the medium. "Oh, brother…"

Shirley looked over and smirked at me. "I see you doubt my powers…" She then bent over and whispered in my ear, "Would it change anything if I say that you'll be married in your adult years with your close friend, and having a brown furred creature as your companion?"

My eyes widened as I looked over at the medium as I whispered, "Is that… how do… does that-"

I quickly eyed Shaggy and Scooby as they only looked at me in confusion, with Shaggy asking, "What did she say?"

"Uh…" I paused, before grinning nervously. "Nothing important. Just… what I already know, that I'm going to be the richest girl of Coolsville when I grow up!"

Freddy, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby looked at me in suspicion… before nodding as Freddy said, "Yeah, of course."

"Rit's ro robrious." Scooby agreed.

"That makes sense." Velma nodded.

"I guess that's, like, nothing knew." Shaggy said.

I could only turn back to Shirley, who seemed to hold a smug grin on her face… before pausing. "Uh-oh… I seem to be getting a message from the beyond."

We could only watch as she started to spaz out as she then spoke, in a rather creepy voice, "I am Razbah of the netherworld! You kids don't know what you're getting into! Get out before it's too late! Get out. Get out! GET OUT!"

Shaggy and Scooby yelped nervously as I raised an eyebrow in curiosity. That's the THIRD time I heard THOSE particular set of words… not in that tone, though… and yet, I wonder…

As soon as she finished spazzing, I paused as I asked, "Mind if I ask you something? You were at the Daily Babbler earlier this afternoon, weren't you?"

Shirley paused as she gave a nod. "Well, I WAS there earlier to give a prediction to a worker. Why do you ask?"

I paused as I looked over to the others, who seemed to agree with my line of thinking, before looking towards Shirley. "No reason. Listen, I'm sure it's been… an experience talking to you, but we gotta go."

"I understand. I have to rush off myself." Shirley said as she looked back towards the exit. "But if you're in the neighborhood, DO drop by and maybe I can tell you what lies in YOUR future. Have a nice day, kids! Ta-ta!"

She turned around and started to walk off, but not before something fell out of her pocket. We all noticed as we gathered around the tiny object.

"Hey, wait! You dropped your-" Fred tried to call out, but by the time we turned back, Shirley McLoon had already gone.

"What do you suppose this is?" Shaggy asked as Velma pulled out some gloves and put them on before picking up the object in question.

"Hmmm… it appears to be a tiny camera… ones that are often used in spy movies." Velma noted as she examined the camera, before pushing a button that made the camera flash in front of Scooby, causing our puppy friend to yelp as his eyes momentarily got blinded.

Freddy paused briefly, before giving a smile. "Gang, I'm beginning to suspect that Shirley McLoon isn't a medium, but an alien from Mars who's come to steal bicycles in her plot to take over the world!"

We all just stared at Freddy with lowered eyelids as Shaggy shook his head. "Freddy, please beam your brain back to Earth. It's more likely Shirley could very well be a photographer who takes pictures of the area… and probably uses them as part of her medium job to predict the future."

"Hmmm…" I paused as I looked over at Shaggy. I wanted to say I agreed with him, but… the way that woman whispered my deepest desires into my ear… it was as if… no, she probably got lucky… probably noticed my blush around Shaggy… I'm not THAT obvious on my crush on him… am I?

My attention was snapped back as I heard Velma's voice. "Guys, get over here! Scooby found something in the bushes!"

I turned and joined the others as we noted Scooby sniffing what looked like a red… car bumper? Shaggy looked closer upon inspection and gasped. "Hey! That's my bike fender!"

"Then I guess we're on the right track!" I said as I spotted some monster-esque tracks leading to the inside of the mansion. "Because whoever took your bike took the rest of it inside."

Everyone looked over as Shaggy yelped. "I was afraid you'd say that…"

"Then I guess we have nothing to lose. We're going to have to investigate the inside of the manor!" Freddy suggested as we all started to head towards the mansion.

As soon as we approached, Freddy opened the door as we peered inside to see the creepy atmosphere of the manor. He then nodded as he motioned us to follow. We obeyed as Freddy said, "All right, stick close. This mansion is pretty old, so we may have to be careful where we step…"

All of a sudden, as if trying to curse us, as soon as we were a few steps inside the manor, the floor gave out on us as all five of us fell straight through the floor as we gave out a scream… however, much to my surprise, we landed on… something rather soft… like a pile of soft… paper?

"What's this?" I asked in shock as I picked up one of the papers and looked at it. From my eyes, it looked like a… a…

"It's money!" Shaggy gasped as he picked up some of the bills and threw it in the air. "Tons and TONS of money!"

"ROW!" Scooby gasped in wonder as he laughed, diving inside and swimming around happily.

"It does look like money, but… how is that even possible?" I asked in pure astonishment.

Freddy looked at the bills as he gave a smile. "Maybe that Martian spy lady vaporized Fort Knox and stashed the cash here!"

I groaned, holding my head. "Fort Knox has GOLD BARS, not dollar bills! And second, I don't know if it IS Shirley McLoon. It could be someone else!"

"Like, who cares where it came from! We're rich!" Shaggy laughed as he and Scooby started to swim around in the money. "Oh, I love to dive around in it like a porpoise, and burrow through it like a gopher…" Shaggy proceeded to do so before popping up and grabbing some dollar bills and throwing it up in the air. "And toss it up and let me hit it on the head!"

Shaggy laughed as I couldn't help but give a giggle at his childlike wonder… I mean, he is a child, but… oh, you get the idea. Shaggy smiled as he looked at the money. "You know, forget the old bike! The monster can have it as far as I'm concerned! With this amount of money, I could buy myself a new bike!"

I would have happily tried to help Shaggy count the money and taught him a little responsibility for it, had Velma not spoke up. "Jinkies!"

We all stopped short as I turned and gasped. "Oh boy, Velma said 'jinkies'. She must have found a clue!"

"What do you got, Velma?" Freddy asked as Velma was next to her computer as she seemed to be comparing dollar bills.

"Well, I'm afraid none of us would get anywhere if we spent this money… because they all have the same serial numbers." Velma explained.

"They do?" We all asked as I looked at my dollar bill, and then picked up another one to compare. Sure enough, all of them had the same serial number of 'B00123'.

"So… you mean like… counterfeit dollars?" Shaggy asked as he looked at the dollar bill again.

"Sorry." Velma shook her head.

Shaggy frowned in disappointment and groaned, as did Scooby as Shaggy said, "Guess we're, like, back on the track of looking for my bike…"

"But who would be stupid enough to make counterfeit dollar bills?" I asked as we looked over at each other.

All of a sudden, we heard the door opening as we turned and gasped to see the Slippery Slimer Monster come in… and immediately noticed us right off the bat as he gave a loud growl.

"HEY! You pesky kids! Get out of there!" The monster gave a growl as all five of us yelped as we were backed into a corner.

"Whoa… I guess THAT'S the monster we're up against?" Freddy asked as he looked at me, Shaggy and Scooby. We all nodded our heads towards him. "You know, it's funny, but I pictured him a little more like Red Herring's costume from earlier… is that weird?"

We all just stared at Freddy with lowered eyelids… before turning back towards the monster and yelping… but then, all of a sudden… I guess one of us found a secret button because the next thing we knew, the floor disappeared on us as we found ourselves sliding down a chute, all five of us yelping as we tried to hang on as best as we could.

After sliding down as fast as possible, the next thing we knew, we all landed right in some creepy basement… but not before Shaggy and I found myself, once again, in ANOTHER awkward situation where he had me pinned down.

We both stare at each other, blushes adorning our faces… before Shaggy quickly got up and brushed himself, coughing. I did the same thing, chuckling nervously, hoping our other friends didn't notice.

"Now where are we?" Freddy asked as he shook his head.

Shaggy took the time to look around as he said to himself, "No clue. But it looks creepy, like Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory."

We took a minute to look around, but the only thing that was there was… a printing press? The same one that looked like they came from the Daily Babbler, in fact.

"How do you suppose a printing press got all the way down there?" I asked in curiosity. Freddy paused as he opened his mouth, but I quickly said, "If your theory has anything to do with Martian spies or vacation brochures, or Mars, I don't want to hear it."

Freddy closed his mouth, looking at me with an annoyed expression on his face. He smirked as he opened his mouth, but I quickly then said, "OR aliens cooking us and eating us."

Freddy closed his mouth again as he stared at me with an annoyed look. Before he could say anything in rebuttal though, we heard Scooby screaming and hitting something, as if he fell downstairs.

Velma, Fred and I quickly joined Shaggy as I asked, "What happened, Shaggy?"

"Like, we found this door that led downstairs and Scooby took a tumble!" Shaggy said before we heard a loud sound coming from the bottom of the stairs, as if Scooby hit something.

"Sounds like Scooby landed on something!" Freddy noted.

"Ri'll ray…" Scooby sounded out, looking a bit dazed as I noticed a light switch nearby and flipped it on, turning on the lights of the sub-basement area as we saw Scooby on top of a red… bicycle… say…

"ZOINKS! Like, my bike!" Shaggy said as we ran downstairs. "You found it, Scoob! What a pal!"

"Great job, Scooby!" I smiled as Shaggy picked the pup up, letting Scooby recover quickly.

"Well, at least the bike's A-OK." Velma said as she looked around it. "But… hm… Jinkies…"

"Another clue, Velma?" Freddy asked as we turned to her.

"I guess you could say that. Shaggy's bike seems to be in order, but there's something missing from it." Velma said.

"Like, what?" Shaggy asked in curiosity.

"Your bike chain seems to be missing." Velma said.

"That's weird. I wonder where it went." Shaggy scratched his head.

We all pondered for a minute, before my eyes widened. I turned to Velma, who seemed to have reached the same conclusion I have as I said, "It's not really hard to think about it once you start putting the pieces together."

"True… Freddy, I think it's time we wrapped up the case once and for all…" Velma said as she turned to our leader.

Freddy gave a small smile. "Oh boy! I knew it's time for me to set up my special Freddy trap!"

"You may not be as wise, but you are GREAT at your traps." I smiled as I turned to Shaggy and Scooby. "Sorry you two, but we're going to need…"

"Say no more, Daphne." Shaggy sighed a bit, as if in defeat. "What's the plan?"

After Freddy, Velma and I relayed our plans to Shaggy and Scooby, we decided to set up the plan as me and Shaggy were walking off together, holding hands as I turned to him. "Well, it's a good thing Velma found exactly what we need for the plan…"

"I'll say…" Shaggy said as he clutched my hand. "I just hope you're all are right about your theory…"

"Thankfully, if all goes well, we'll have this mystery solved in no time…" I said as we were back in the room with the money. "Come on, Shaggy, let's gather up this money and see how much everything is worth."

"Yes, let's!" Shaggy said as he started to pick up some dollar bills, with myself keeping a lookout until we saw the monster coming in. Shaggy looked up and screamed as the monster looked directly at us.

"You snoopy kids again! Oh, I just have HAD it up to here with you!" The monster said as he stuck out his Alien-esque tongue (still creepy, by the way) as he started to run towards us.

"Like, let's get out of here, Daphne!" Shaggy shouted as he and I started to make a run for the steps, with the monster running behind us. I kept looking back to make sure he was gunning for us, and sure enough, he was still chasing after us. I gave a nod as I led him over to the room with the printing press.

"Scooby, take a sniff!" I shouted as Shaggy and I slid over to where Fred was, as he gave a thumbs-up.

Sure enough, as soon as the monster entered the room, Fred made sure to shut the door behind him as the monster tried to make a grab at me. I gave a gasp as I backed up into Shaggy, my best friend making sure to grab me tight in his arms as he pulled me over.

And sure enough, as if on cue, we heard Scooby sneezing as he rocketed around everywhere, before unleashing a powerful sneeze that rocketed him towards the monster.

SLAM!

The monster yelped as he was sent right to the printing press machine, which Velma turned on just as the monster landed on the vendors. The Slippery Slime Monster gave a yelp as he got stuck in the printing press's entrance as he tried to claw himself out.

"I'm stuck! I'm stuck, get me out of here!" The monster called out as he tried to claw himself out, but it was no use. He was just stuck.

"Good work, Scoob, we caught the ghost!" Shaggy smiled as he hugged Scooby.

"Ri rid? Oh reah, Ri reuss Ri rid." Scooby chuckled.

"Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves, Shaggy." I said as we turned towards the trapped, annoyed monster in the printing press. "If he was a ghost, he'd be fading past the printing press right now… and monsters wouldn't be helpless if they were stuck in their situation. So, like I said before, there are no such things as ghosts and monsters."

"Well… if he's not a ghost and he's not a monster… what is he, then?" Shaggy asked in curiosity.

"I think I know!" Freddy smiled. "It's Shirley McLoon! Remember, she dropped her spy camera? Well, when we picked it up and realized she didn't have it on her person, she had to put on a costume so we wouldn't uncover her plot to take over the universe."

"That would be an interesting theory… IF it were true…"

"HUH?!" Freddy asked as we all turned to see… Shirley McLoon walking inside the room? And speaking in a different voice?

"I was caught by that ghost and locked in another room. Thankfully, I had some tools to get me out of there." Shirley said as she rubbed her head. "But I guess I should tell the truth. I'm not a martian, never have been. Though, I guess while I'm at it… I'm not really a medium either."

"HUH?!" I said in shock as my mouth dropped. So… that prediction she gave wasn't… was it? I-

"You're here about the counterfeit money, aren't you?" Velma asked, snapping her fingers.

"Right!" Shirley nodded. "I'm actually with the United States Secret Service, part of the Treasury department, if you will."

She flashed her badge to prove herself as we looked at it. We looked at each other, nodding as things were starting to make sense now.

"You see, we've been trying to bust this counterfeiter for months." Shirley explained. "I thought that things would go smoothly, but you kids came in just as I was about to finally crack the case wide open. Of course, if you hadn't came in, he probably would have gotten away, so… I thank you kids for being there when you were."

"So… all of that money WAS counterfeit…" Shaggy nodded, confirming it to himself.

"And it was printed using the printing press by our Slippery Slimer Monster." I said, causing everyone to look at me. "Uh, that's what I was naming him, at least."

"So, who's the real ghost, if not Shirley McLoon?" Shaggy asked.

"Well, let's think back. There was something in common with this mystery… the color green. Like, the green monster… and the green money…" I listed.

"Not to mention the green dry ink, the same that made Scooby sneeze." Velma said as she pulled out a box of dry ink.

"Reah!" Scooby said as he plugged his nose.

"And we knew that because that happened the first time at the newspaper office." I explained. "When Scooby led us there, we thought he was off the trail, but he wasn't."

"The thief went there with the bike to pick up some more green ink." Velma explained.

"And that's when he went back to his hideout." Fred snapped his fingers.

"RIGHT! And he, like, tried to scare people off with his ghost costume so that he could continue printing his bogus money!" Shaggy nodded.

"And after all the clues we put together… the only person that had the motive is none other than…" Velma said as she climbed up a box and pulled off the Slipper Silmer Creature's mask to reveal…

"MR. CONRAD?!" We all said in surprise.

"BOSS?!" Shaggy asked in shock.

"ROSS?!" Scooby repeated Shaggy verbatim.

"Shucks…" Mr. Conrad frowned as he looked around at all of us, glaring at the others. "I guess you all got me…"

"But boss, like, I've done some good work for you, delivering papers. Why would you rob my bike?" Shaggy asked, a little heartbroken.

Mr. Conrad frowned as he turned to Shaggy. "Well, my printing press that I used to make counterfeit money was pretty old, and I needed to replace a belt that was broken off. But the belt models that belonged to this printing press weren't being made anymore, so I needed to find a suitable substitute… when I saw your bike, I knew your bike chain would be perfect. I was going to give the bike back in the morning with a NEW bike chain… but I guess that's useless now…"

"Precisely! Your bike chain was a perfect replacement." Velma explained as she pointed to said bike chain on the printing press.

We all examined it as I snapped my fingers. "Oh, good eye, Velma!"

Velma giggled as she crossed her arms. "I do my best…"

"Yeah, well, I would have gotten away with everything if it hadn't been for you pesky kids and that puppy." Mr. Conrad said in annoyance as Shirley pulled him out and cuffed him.

"Tell it to the judge." Shirley frowned.

"Uh, boss… before you split for Sing Sing, one last thing about my paper route… like, I quit." Shaggy frowned.

"Re roo!" Scooby said as he glared at the man who used to be Shaggy's boss.

Mr. Conrad rolled his eyes. "Fair enough. I didn't want to see any of you again anyway… especially not after tonight!"

We watched Shirley lead Mr. Conrad away as I turned to Shaggy, a look of disappointment lay on his face. I gave a small smile as I put my hand on his cheek gently, causing him to look up at me. "You did the right thing, Shaggy. Believe me, if I was working with a boss who only wanted me for my bike, I would NOT tolerate that behavior."

"Thanks, Daph." Shaggy said with a warm smile as Fred and Velma applauded Shaggy for his deed.

I couldn't help but pause slightly as I looked back, before giving a nod towards them. "Would you all excuse me for a few minutes? I need to talk to Shirley about something."

Freddy, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby just looked at me in confusion, before shrugging. I quickly thanked them before running up to follow Shirley upstairs.

Sure enough, I spotted Shirley putting Mr. Conrad into the car as I waved over to her. "Oh, Shirley, hang on for just a minute."

Shirley turned towards me as she raised an eyebrow. "Yes?"

"I… uh… I know you were only pretending to be a medium to keep your cover and all, but… there was one thing that bothered me… that thing you whispered in my ear… was that just a thing to mess with me, or was it just to make sure I had to believe in ghosts to keep the cover?" I asked.

Shirley paused as she gave a smirk. "A little of both. I noticed you were being rather skeptical, and I've watched you kids and how you were approaching Mr. Conrad's disguise. Also, don't think I didn't note your little reactions when it came to your little green shirted friend."

I tensed up a bit, a blush emanating from my face… at least, that's what it looked like from Shirley's expression. She gave a chuckle as she patted me on the head. "Oh, don't worry, sweetheart. I wasn't going to blab it out in the open. You look like the type to want to open up on your own time."

I took a small deep breath as I looked up. "It's just… Shaggy's been so good to me, and we've been friends for a good while. But we're still so young, and yet… every time I look at him, I feel like he's going to be my true soulmate."

"Ah, young love. Always nice to see." Shirley chuckled. "If I were you, I wouldn't wait any longer than you need to. Talk to your friend about your feelings. He might like you back."

I paused, the words Shirley was telling me filling me with hope… before pausing. "But… even then, what if he doesn't like me back?"

Shirley could only raise an eyebrow, before giving a chuckle. "I wouldn't worry too much on that aspect."

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.

"Oh, I'm sure you'll understand eventually. Anyway, I gotta get this man to the station. I already phoned the authorities, so they'll be sure to come by to interview you." Shirley said as she looked down. "You and your friends are doing a lot of good in the world, kid. In fact, while I'm not a medium… maybe that prediction I gave you COULD come true… if you work towards it."

I paused as Shirley got up and went inside her car, starting it as she drove off. I could only watch as she drove away, but her words really resonated with me.

About a day or so later, Shaggy and I were sitting alone at the ice cream bar as Shaggy was enjoying a nice treat. With Scooby playing with Sugie, and Fred and Velma taking a small break from mystery solving at the moment, I felt that this was the best way to spend our time.

"Like, thanks again for taking me for ice cream, Daphne." Shaggy smiled as he finished up his sundae.

"Oh, Shaggy, you know it's always my pleasure to treat you, especially after everything that happened." I smiled as I took a bite out of my peanut butter marshmallow sundae. "Glad to see that you got your bike back, so that's saying something."

"Yeah, like, it's hard to believe that we've managed to solve another mystery as big as this…" Shaggy smiled. "But you know, it's a shame I had to quit the newspaper route, because now I'll have to find another new part-time job just to get some money."

"You should be thankful that, as the richest girl of Coolsville, I covered your expenses." I smirked towards my best friend.

Shaggy chuckled nervously. "Like, you didn't HAVE to do that…"

"Maybe not, but knowing Scooby would be getting a LOT of ice cream… it felt like a godsend to help you." I pointed out.

The young boy paused slightly, before nodding. "I guess that makes sense…"

I paused slightly as the words that Shirley told me rang in my head, to tell him. I looked over at Shaggy as I took a deep breath. "Uh, Shaggy, can I tell you something important?"

"Like, sure. You can tell me anything, Daph." Shaggy smiled.

"Well, what I want to tell you… uh… it's a little bit… complicated to put into words…" I paused as I looked at him biting his lip.

"Is it… something bad?" Shaggy asked, looking concerned for me.

"Not… really, no." I shook my head. "I guess… it depends on how you look at it, I…"

"Well, if it's complicated, you can take your time. I can wait." Shaggy smiled.

"You can? For how long?" I asked, looking at him curious.

"For as long as it takes… forever, if we have to…" Shaggy whispered a bit as he squeezed my hand.

I felt a blush coming on as I looked at my friend… my possible boyfriend to be… as he flashed a rather cute smile. "Well… uh… the thing is, well…"

Shaggy raised an eyebrow as I stuttered to find the right words… before blurting out, "I'd… like… for you to work at my mansion!"

I clapped my mouth, realizing I goofed up and said the wrong thing. Shaggy looked at me in surprise. "Work at your mansion?"

"Sure. My parents love you, and whenever you come over with me, you're always so thoughtful and helpful. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you worked for them." I smiled nervously, hoping to cover my slip-up.

Shaggy paused slightly as he looked at me… before giving a smile. "Well, shucks, Daphne, that's so generous of you to offer. And if you truly think your folks will let me work for them for an allowance, then I guess it's okay."

"Really?" I asked in surprise, before smiling. "I'll see if I can ask my parents if you'd like to do some small jobs around the mansion, then! And best of all, you, me and Scooby, whenever he comes with you, are going to have the most fun time in the world!"

"Like, that sounds great!" Shaggy smiled. "Oh, I can't wait to tell Scooby… we so got it made! Thanks, Daphne!"

He quickly pulled me into a hug as I had my eyes widened… before I gave a smile, putting my arms around him and hugging him back. "You're welcome, my sweet shaggy-haired guy."

It wasn't quite the love confession I wanted to set up, but… just the fact that I get to hang out with Shaggy a lot more if I get my parents to get him to work for them… it was more than enough…

But I knew that somehow, someday, the truth would eventually reveal itself… and when that day comes… well, who knows?

Another mystery solved, case closed.

Orange Ratchet Story

"That's All, Folks!"

An Orange-Ratchet Fanfiction

All right, that is this story done and out! What did you guys think of it? Anyway, my final thoughts!

Like I said, this was a request for someone on Deviantart by the name of Helicopter297, who wanted to see this adaptation/remake of the first Pup Named Scooby-Doo episode, but with a Shaphne take. This was a little hard to figure out, but eventually, I decided to take the 'Oh Rhonda!' route and make it Daphne's Point of View, and explore some hidden aspects to her and her small, but developing crush on Shaggy as we try to get different events on how the episode went down. Yeah, most of the episode stayed the same, save for a few changes here and there. I also decided to add a bit more to Shirley McLoon's character and play around the aspect of the medium, even tasting Daphne a bit, before putting in that epilogue with her and Daphne... and even then, having that small epilogue between Shaggy and Daphne alone at the ice cream bar certainly gave them more character. Will I do more adaptations in the future? Honestly, no, I think that's my last one for a long time. But hopefully, it gives a good idea for people who want to do more Pup Named Scooby Doo pairings with Shaphne stories!

So, I hope you all had a lot of fun reading through this short story as I did writing it down! I know this was a logn one, but it was worth the story! Anyway, thank you all for reading, and have a very wonderful day!
